Buds Rockin Country Bar & Grill

Our first time here and it was amazing! Our server Megan was incredible! She answered all our questions and suggested menu items/options for us. Very knowledgeable and just a ray of sunshine! We started off with the Onion stack rings, diet coke, & Mr. Pibb. Probably some of the best onion rings weve ever had. I have specific dietary restrictions and Megan offered to order me a half of the ceasar salad with blackened salmon/add tomatoes. (Pictured; sorry, I had to take a bite or two lol) It was delicious and so fresh! My husband ordered the full rack of ribs with mashed potatoes and collard greens. I tasted a rib and theyre sooo succulent, juicy, and fall off the bone! (Note: If youre looking for smoked ribs, these are just the roasted without the smoke.) He loved his potatoes and his greens were excellent 👌. The menu is huge for a bar and they also have family friendly seating! I noticed about 3 or 4 people who ordered the Bbq sundae which is packed with mashed potatoes, pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, and bbq sauce. Which I am is probably heavenly! Megan said that the portions here are pretty large and was she right! I couldnt even eat all my salad (I cant eat that much anyway and I got a half order of the salad.) We came for lunch and left with dinner for later! Excellent food, environment, and if youre there during the day, ask for Megan! They have drink specials and live music at night. We definitely want to plan a night out here. 5 star all around. Well definitely be back! Great job, Buds!

We were blown away how amazing the crispy stuffed mushrooms and street corn dip was. Wow. Like wow. Service was phenomenal and the music just made for a perfect date night

I sent a picture of the stuffed mushrooms to a buddy in Toronto and he replied “Looks like a high end place!” I think that pretty much says it all. Please note that the mushrooms are fantastic, but they are SPICY! My bald head was sweating! The description says it contains Spicy Bacon Jam, but let’s be honest, when you order a beer and see they have crispy stuffed mushrooms, do you look to read all the ingredients?Grippos’s dusted chicken was amazing. It wasn’t nearly as spicy as the mushrooms.We will be back soon!

Met my friend for lunch on a Friday. Not too busy and we sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and kept our drinks full! I ordered the Buds Backyard burger with the beer battered onion rings. Food came out hot and pretty quick. The onion rings were the best Ive had in a long time! I could only finish 1/2 the burger and took the rest home. It was so very good!!2nd: Ate dinner on a Tuesday night. Took an hour to get our food.3rd: went out with co-workers with a group of 10. Server was great and apps were really good!

Love this place. Day time or night. Drink specials are good. Had 1.75 domestics today early in the day while we played pool. They have bands there at night. Lots of space. The staff is friendly. Just a good all around place.

Service was very good. I was there with a large group, and our waiter was obviously used to handling a large group. Everything went smoothly. Everyones order was correct. Food was very good.This is Miles Mann and his wifes favorite place to go on week nights.

First time at Buds.The food was very good.Buds spuds appetizer was first and a good take on chesse fries.Bacon Cheeseburger and fries for me and steakhouse Flatbread for my wife. All good, Buds has this whole food thing rocking.The service was very slow.More a product of how busy they were and the amount, or lack of amount, of servers. Our server didnt write anything down while we ordered, and to be honest, I didnt really feel like repeating myself after sitting there unattended for 25 minutes. Had to a couple of times, though.I will note that the order was correct.The atmosphere was mostly good.Upscale for a place calling itself a country bar. Docked points on the ceiling fan, though.

Ordered a shrimp basket and some wings and it was fantabulous. The staff was friendly and attentive and engaging. The live music on a Tuesday was a definite bonus! Highly recommend stopping in for a pint and some great atmosphere.

Food is always so good at Buds. I had the Street Corn Dip this time and it was so good! I do wish they could cut back on the prices a bit though. I used to get the BBQ Nachos all the time when they were $11, but now theyre $15. Everywhere is more expensive though, so I get it. I would still recommend them though!

Elevated bar food! Buds has a really good, unique menu .The BBQ nachos are huge and easily feed 3 to 4 people. And the French Onion Soup is delicious! Nice vibe during the day. Never enough bartenders. Can sometimes take forever to get a drink.

Our server, Josh, is literally the coolest dude I’ve ever met. Not sure how much he gets paid, but it’s not enough. Give man a raise and also if ANYONE goes here, request josh!!!!

The Pork Egg Rolls were omg amazing, the PB wings were different, Hamburger not so good and the Cuban was dry. Fries were yummy and onion rings were nothing special. Service took a while to greet us, but ended out to be okay. Atmosphere terrific. I would actually just come back for the Pork Egg Rolls 😋

When on Thur July 4th @5:30. Was about 35 people total in place. Was 5 behind bar. We walked right past bar to pool table side, we were the only people over there. Sit there for 15 min NO ONE came over. So we went out front door and across to CHASERS and had a great meal. Was in Chasers for about 25 minutes and another couple came in that had done experience at Buds that we did !!!!!!They came over and ate at Chasers too !!!

I did not order food, but the food I saw looked good. Everyone at the party I was with seemed to enjoy it. Some even took home leftovers and meals for their spouses. I like the atmosphere. It felt very laid back and natural. Service was good. He forgot some peoples drinks/things to go with their meal but quickly recovered. Id probably go back again.

Had the WORST experience tonight at Buds Rockin Country Bar & Grill. Went there to grab a drink and eat dinner. Yes it was around 9. They had a singer until MAYBE 10. They charge a $5 cover. I said we are just here to grab dinner. The bouncer said ok that’s fine and we found a table. It was dead in there. We ate, had a couple mixed drinks, and the boys had a bucket of beer. A couple other guys asked our 2 to play pool. My friend and I sat at the table, with our food, and watched a group of drunk kids get kicked out. The guys came back over and my husband was getting ready to pay our bill. We weren’t even there an hour, maybe an hour and 15 mins. The bouncer comes over to our table after kicking these kids out and says “see we try to be nice but you said you were just going to eat a leave. You’re hang out and that’s why we charge $5 to get in our bar”. 😳 ummm excuse me?!? We packed all of our stuff and walked out. We literally just finished up and paid our bill. He followed saying I’m not kicking you out. Ya bye ✌🏻NEVER AGAIN will we spend any money in there. No wonder it was dead. Sadly because our food was really good.

I didnt fully experience Buds until the eighth time I visited. Its truly a hidden gem, especially the Buds Buffet on the far east side of the establishment. Though the food at the Buds Buffet is already eaten off of and cold, its still pretty good!! Buds is a great place to take your tigers and tigresses out for a fun night!

Daily specials are great. Good food and prices. No complaints. Tried the chicken and dumplings, pretty satisfied. Burgers and the bbq parfait are worth a try. Staff was super on our last visit.

Our first time at Buds. We had heard many great things but it managed to exceed all of our expectations! Fast service, great atmosphere, and excellent food! Dang bang shrimp had just the right amount of spice and the BBQ Parfait was delicious!

Good choice of wigs flavors, many beer and drink choices, service was good for being busy and the atmosphere was a place you can sit back and enjoy the people.

Our server Raven was attentive and kind the food was great and was enough for 3 meals the female chef who brought our food out was also very kind! 10/10 we will be back ❤

The food here is good, and the service was great even though it was a Friday night and they were pretty busy. The guy they had playing live music was a little on the loud side but hey, its a bar. All in all a good experience.

The food was good and the atmosphere was great... At first. As soon as the crowds started to show up all covid-19 guidelines were out the window. I know they cant control the public but it was not safe and the staff were not correcting ppl. But lets talk about their Nachos because they are that good and that HUGE. A must share for the table.

Once was enough to convince me that Buffalo Wild Wings is trash. Not a fan of country music, but I absolutely love this place.

Honestly, I convinced my friends to have lunch here, and I was sorely disappointed by the experience and apologized to them for the suggestion. Probably the absolute worst part was not the empty beer bottles and literal trash on the stage I the middle of the (not at all busy) day, nor the employee standing near the bar sucking on their vape that Id wager they do not sanitize, but the floor was SO sticky...i could ignore it until I went to the bathroom to wash my hands after handling the menu and the floor in there was even stickier, so much so that I thought my secured hiking boots were going to leave my feet with each step.... The waitress was nice but too new to answer half of my questions and apparently they do not candy their own bacon, as you cannot order any normal bacon (this felt like a stab to my soul. Ultimately, we surmised that if they cared so little about the trash and sticky floors, probably the handles to the bathroom door that you have to touch to exit are not very clean either, and didnt feel comfortable with them making our food. Also it is weird that the Mac and cheese is spicy. My friend said the tea was good though. So I guess theres that.

We always have great service and the food is large portions and delicious 😋BBQ Nachos are great for sharing with 4 to 6 people!

Nachos nachos nachos! You can come with friends, significant other, or solo but grab the nachos! Cant beat the price and no way you can finish it. Me and my lady go for a couple hours, watch a game or two and dont spend anymore than $50 all together!

I have visited multiple times. I have had the Cuban sandwich. I also have had the sundae. The food is good. The service is good.This place is over 21 years old only.

Service was good. But the food was not. I ordered the grouper sandwich which I have ordered other times. It was burned and just warm. My wife ordered stuffed mushrooms they were also burnt. The onion rings were good as were the French fries. Very disappointed. We did inform our waitress she did Offer to replace the items but we were not willing to wait another 20 minutes for our lunch. Just like so many restaurants they start out really good and after a period of time they just go down hill.

First time guest for lunch for a party of 2 on a holiday at 12:30. Masa balls were very good but not hot when served. Fried Green tomatoes were stacked up on a skewer and separated by cream cheese. Would have been better if served like fries with ranch dressing on the side which is typical. Would not recommend. The burgers were very good and highly recommend the burgers. The fries and onion rings were good and hot. Will return but will be careful on ordering appetizers. Cold beer!

The waiter was very kind and friendly. We ordered Thats a Wrap and the Dapper Don flatbread. They were both absolutely delicious! A friend ordered the nachos to share. They are the best nachos I have ever had! Our drinks were good too. We also had a gold tequila shot and it went down so smoothly! We didnt stay for music and dancing but it seemed like it was going to be a fun night there! We will be going back!

Food is pretty damn incredible! Top notch qaulity, we were very impressed to find the food was some of the best in Evansville. Service isnt spectacular, we have been several times and service is always pretty mediocre at best. Definitely doesnt match the food quality.

Went at lunch thru the week, so things were pretty calm, but I could see it really hopping during busy times. Good selection of food and mine was very good.Check it out!

Food smelled better than it tastes. Labor Day had out of state company. First timekee eating there. No drink menu was told open bar ordered strawberry daiquiri was told no frozen drinks had beer. Someone had Bloody Mary bland. Onion Rings appetizer was soggy had better at fast food. Wasnt asked how done burger it was too.well done, fries overcooked. Greek Flatbread meat overcooked. Wont return. Waitress was surly.

Food was very good, the waitress was excellent. Crystal made everything enjoyable. Very friendly and had a beautiful smile every time she came to our table. So yes every time Im in from Florida Ill make it a point to go in for lunch. Serving sizes are very large.

Service was great! There was so much food I wound up taking most of it home. I ordered the Buds Spuds appetizer and could have fed most of the table. Very tasty! Our waitress was amazing. The only drawback was finding a place to park.

I was in town for the weekend. My brother took me here and I loved this place! The space is really unique. Employees were all really awesome. We didnt eat this time but the food looked really incredible. I have a new favorite hangout in Evansville. Ill be back again and again.

The best food and service on the West Side... by far.... KC made the right decision with Michaela and James. Local pub atmosphere coupled with chef quality, over the top menu! The food will blow you away.

Drove from Augusta GA to Evansville IN to see a friend and he recommended Buds.So we got in his car and headed over - damn he was right. Ribeye and top sirloin between us and sides of mash potatoes - buds spud fries - pineapple slaw - green beans - onion rings. Wish we were here longer to try other things but be sure to stop in and try for yourself.

Had a Bachelorette party here and it was pretty fun. They have a lot of people come for lunch and older couples for early dinner, but as the night goes on it really comes alive. They sometimes have a live band or a DJ. The food is reasonable per price and service is good. There are games--4 pool tables, darts, and corn hole outside, as well as a dance floor. Cover charge is $5 after 7PM or so.

I love the atmosphere of buds, but unfortunately I will never go there again. I brought my autistic brother there last night so he can experience the club like setting. My brother didn’t even have a drop of alcohol and got dragged out of the bathroom by security because they said he was “F***ed up” yet there was people absolutely messed up out of there mind. The only question I have is why did they single out my brother? Is it because he is autistic and they don’t want that image? We spent alot of money on our meal and didn’t even get to eat it before we were forced out.

If you like simple food, not for you. If you like weird, fancy food with weird cheeses, breads, sauces, and things like apple slices on your cheese burgers, itll be right up your alley. The buds tators(their version of fries) were delicious. Our service was terrible. Took 30min for them to take our drink orders alone. And 2.5 hours by time we got there and left. Entirely too long for a lunch, in a not overly busy restaurant. Although there were people who got there ate and left before we got our food so it could have just been our waitress.

The food was wonderful but the little bartender that waited on us was a rude little thing.

This was our first time at this place. We had the buds Mac and cheese along with Loded buds spuds. We also garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Food was really good. Buds spuds were really crispy and delicious.The service wasnt good at all. It wasnt busy at all. Our waitress was Danille P. She didnt do a good job of waiting on us. She was too busy talking with other employees. We tried to get her attention a couple of times. But talking with her friends was more important. My wife ran out of her drink and it want filled for a long time. If the waitress had done her job by checking on us instead of hanging out and talking with other employees, she would have noticed our drinks were empty.The food was great, however, I am not sure we will be back.

Came fro lunch, the wings are very good. The flavors too. Several one to try. We also ordered a salad, you can add any chicken meat to the salad with any wing flavor. A lot of screens to watch sports and mildly crowded for lunch time. I will definitely come back here.

Hubs and crew road down yesterday and ate 11-25-22. Had a chicken sandwich and fries, cook brought out more fries because he didn’t think the first plate had enough on it for the order. Service like that is what will bring our crew and others back. Make sure to pay him good, he deserves it! Big thanks to the cook, wish I would have caught his name.

Ive been to this bar a few times and received no service within 20 minutes so ended up walking out. I feel its important to note that these times, I sought out an employee to notify them (though I should not have to) that I was there and without service. Saw a few servers look at us without menus and walk away. AWFUL PLACE.

Food is very good! Service was terrible. It was busy on Saturday night, but there is no organization on who has what table. And our waiter walked past us at least 4 times before we got waited on. We did stay for the band, and it was excellent, and they had a change in servers, and the girl we had for that was tons better.

We have been to Buds several times over the last year. Last night was the second time we had a bad experience. Mostly service. Waitress brought us our drinks took our ordered and then completely ghosted. Different waitress different night but the same treatment. What is going on. Last night we moved from our table to the bar so we could get another drink. After 1 and a half hour after ordering appetizers NoFood. We paid the bar tender for our drinks (who by the way was very attentive and apologetic) and canceled our order. Not for sure it even got ordered. I hope they get things straightened out. It was a great place to go eat and hang out with friends.

The last 3-4 times my husband and I have been to Buds the service is always terrible and slow. Also it’s never busy when we go. We always end up going back because the food is great. Today though was just ridiculous.. We came in and decided to sit very close to the bar and kitchen, so maybe we could get better service than the last times we’ve been in. The waitress came up got our drinks and asked if we wanted an appetizer. We said yes and ordered the nachos. They came out and she asked if they were ok and that was the last time she came up to us before me having to ask for the check and a box. She was gone for at least 10-20 minutes where we didn’t even see her on the floor. She walked pasted us 3 or 4 times and never asked if we wanted to order entrees and never got us refills or even asked how we were doing. Like I said finally I got her attention and got the check and a box. I was so annoyed. I really love the food, but this place needs to work on their training or something. They have consistently the worst service of any restaurant I’ve been to!

Pretty cool place. The atmosphere is really awesome. They got some pretty sweet electronic dart boards. I was there on a Wednesday night never had a live country singer and he was really good. Im assuming they do quite a bit of live music there. The place is extremely spacious the staff there were really good. Fast drinks and strong ones🤘

The food better be good, because the service is awful. Bartender openly ignored us several times when we were trying to order food. Tried to get her attention, didnt work. Its not busy. Another bartender eating behind the bar. Watched bartender pour Titos on the cooler lid to get it unstuck. Fingers crossed on the food

Good food, large menu, huge portions. Service was a little slow. It seemed like the waitress may have had too many tables at once and had too much going on. Wait time from greeting to check/bill was a little lackluster. May have been an off, busy night. Seems to always have some kind of entertainment going on. Hopping place. We liked it, well give it another chance and will be back!

The food looked amazing and tasted great...It would have been even better if I could have eaten it while it was hot.The service was the most indifferent and inept that I have experienced. I waited 10 minutrs to get my drink, while sitting at the bar, and had to ask to place my food order. Again, food looked amazing, but by the time I just asked for silverware, it was cold. Finally I gave up and asked for a box for my meal. This level of service will be the ruin of a potential great restaurant.

Not really healthy options for those on special diets. Was a constant cold breeze blowing on us. Waitress was too involved flirting with customers at the bar to take care of refills needed.

What a great spot! The food and atmosphere was amazing! We just ordered off the late night snacks menu and we werent let down! The flavors and the amount we received were great! If it couldnt get any better better the prices after we got our bill was surprisingly affordable! 10/10 will be back again!

Great place as long as you dont want service. Atmosphere is great. Service is terrible and food is questionable at best. Check your bill! They probably charged you for extra drinks you didnt get. Place is always clean. Will at least give them that. Crowd has never been rough. Short staffed but was like that pre covid.

Didnt eat but Ive seen pics of some menu items b4 that looked good that will Try sometime. We had good drinks and played their dart games which were high tech. Lol. Band was pretty good and pool tables were full but I liked the idea of having that option too to play if we decided.

In town for a work project. Was walking past this place around lunch on a Saturday to head to another and decided to stop here instead after googling their menu. Glad we did. They have some cool and unique things on their menu and the portion sizes are huge. Attentive service and good atmosphere. Were in town for a few more weeks, well probably visit this one again.

Took the wife out on date night. Nice bar and atmosphere. Not too crowded. Ordered an appetizer and talked. Waiting an hour for appitizer. Asked for a Select 55 as I could see them in cooler, was told didn’t carry them. Had to show waitress. Got food as I got 1/3 burger and wife catfish. Burger was burnt and fish was not done. Loved the place, too bad food is not as good. Waited a total of 2 and a half hours with 3 tables inside with people. Good thing the night with my wife made it nice, or I may have gotten upset.

Not your typical bar food. Everything we have had here has been very good.

Awesome luncheon there. Waitress was great and checked on us often. Neat decor inside. There is a halfway dividing bar area from other seats so I would assume its an option for all ages? So you would want to verify on my say. Love Franklin Street so you can walk around after lunch!

I went here for a department work lunch. It is set up as a kind of upscale place, good portions at a good price. There were 8 appetizers passed around: egg rolls, PB&J wings, onion ring towers, loaded nachos. By the time I was done with appetizers I was getting pretty full. For my meal I got the country fried steak with green beans and onion rings. Country fried steak wasn’t the best I’ve had but pretty good. It was a generous portion, I ate most of it but decided to get a to-go box for the rest. Reasonable drinks: $5 mixed drinks, $2.50 schooners.

We will never go back there! I know its kid friendly but that doesnt mean you bring your kids with you and let them run wild. There were 6 of us trying to have a great day with lunch and conversation. A large table of 10 adults and there kids were in the back and the kids were playing with a game of connect 4 with wooden pieces. The adults were drinking and laughing all the while no paying attention to the kidsA few times a kid would lose at the game and start crying we couldnt hear each other at our table from the noise of the kids. We asked our server to go and move the game over by the parents and she said Ill have to check with the them. She did end up moving it but by then wed had enough and asked for the checks and left!

I love it during the daytime, but if you want to go for a party, that is more the vibe on weekend nights. Tons of games and amazing food though

I was there for an appreciation event during the Mardi Grad festivities. The service was absolutely fantastic, and the chicken wrap was delicious. Highly recommend for an event setting.

Great beer selection and really good level up bar food. The Bad and bugi burger was awesome. Adding mushroom gravy to my fries was the cherry on top.

The food last night was 🔥fire🔥 I had the porterhouse chop with pineapple slaw and mixed veggies. Glenn had the swordfish with pineapple slaw. Oh the dessert...🍩🍟 DONUT FRIES!!! Topped with whip cream chocolate and carmel sauce. OH MY GAWD in my inebriated state it was the cherry on top!!!! I hope to pick up an order and deliver yo my mom next week in Illinois.

Started great with and older lady for a bar tender alone with 7 customers at the bar.But shift change been her over 3 hours and keeps going down hill.... started of by unplugging music. Than waiting for drinks mind you there were 4 bar tenders at this point with 9 customers at the bar. Asked for menus aft 5 minutes got them it 8: 46 pm and its 9:12pm they took menus but have bothered to take the order. All four have been standing around in a group talking. Needless to say now we want the tab and still nothing. Looks like no dinner here we will walk across the street for food.Poor service! I normally dont leave reviews but we arent happy.

Really cool environment. Beer was pretty cold. The 3 stars come from the food. The delivery was super fast, due to an almost raw burger. Wasnt asked how I wanted it prepared. Waited too long for someones attention to correct the issue. Might be back, for drinks.

Very nicely decorated and fun place to go. We just had appetizers, Dang Bang Shrimp, very tasty and chicken wings good but could have been cooked a little longer. The mild sauce was excellent.

Where to start, it felt like a drakes copy but worse! Food was cold, And we had to ask the server where our appetizers were, as our entrees had already come out, we had to ask multiple times for drinks and still had to wait longer then 10 to 15mins. For a refill. As it got later, we found that they didnt bother to turn on enough lighting, so we sat pretty much in the dark until we left, even when we asked, will not be going back!

Nice new spot in Evansville, my family enjoys going here. Service is great the bar is always clean and drinks come out fast. Great job guys keep up the good work.

Try any of the plate lunches, the Dang Bang Shrimp, the Cuban sandwich, Smokehouse flat bread, the BBQ parfait, the variety of Mac & Cheeses, or the Chicken Strips in honey and I promise you wont regret it. But if.you order the nachos you better have at least four friends to help you because the platter is HUGE!

There is always a good time to be had here whether its live bands or DJs and the food is excellent and the portion sizes are quite filling. The employees have been super friendly and very accommodating. Love this place!

Love going here to eat! The food is fantastic. My personal favorites are the bang bang shrimp and the Grippos Chicken sandwich. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. I highly suggest checking it out.

Been twice so far. Once on a Live Band Night..that was the greatest atmosphere,service and music on a very busy night. And once in the lunch time for a couple drinks. Great service , bartender, good clean friendly crowd. Prices on the higher end but absolutely worth it

Dry food. No flavor the chef slash 19 year old running it doesn’t know how to properly clean his station after witnessing him give us a 13 dollar appetizer then take two shots in the bathroom later. Please health inspectors review this place it’s a nightmare. Bathrooms semi clean. Staff attitude at least a few drinks in……. Seriously owner should be embarrassed.

Food is amazing!! Giant portions of your not so typical bar food. The burger with the apple slice is phenomenal. Good beer prices and pool tables. If youre lookin for a relaxing night out with great food, then youll enjoy it here.

Im a driver with Uber and Lyft. This establishment is set up so unique and is always extremely busy with music smiles on peoples faces and lots of alcohol. I urge anybody who goes there on the weekend to not drink and drive and to call one of us to get you home safely I have seen way too much during my time driving people home and as a taxi driver for me not to stress this clearly to each and every one of you. I have seen death on the roads. Multitudes of cops and they are everywhere as they should be, and I support them doing their jobs because I want to be safe as a driver out on the roads myself.

We have been wanting to try this place a while and finally went in at 6pm on a Saturday night. We were told to sit anywhere, we picked a table, and sat almost 15 minutes with no server. Even though we were passed multiple times by servers, nobody stopped by to bring menus or inquire if we wanted a beer or needed help so we left. Was disappointing, looked like a nice place and we heard the food is excellent; too bad we didnt have any service so I cant really say if it is good or not.

Went here this past Fathers day. We were pretty new to the area and were just looking for some good BBQ. So we went on Google and found this place and decided to give it a shot. No where on the door or on the website were we informed it was an actual bar that just happens to serve food.. meaning 21 or over entry. So my wife and kids all go in to the place and seat ourselves at a table for like 25 minutes before being informed we have to leave due to the kids being with us. I have yet to try the food. Which Im sure is great, but not much of a drinker. I will give a 3 instead of a 1 bc the people were nice once they came up to us and I cant justify a 1 due to not properly being aware beforehand.

Great food but I think they were under staffed the day we were there. We had a large group but they have seating for 498. But then I dont know how they figure on fitting 4 people to one side of the table.

Food is amazing! Service is decent. However, dont expect a cold beer, theyll pull a warm mug right out of the dishwasher. (Unless Amber is there, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, youll get a cold one everytime). Also, somedays, theres no manager on duty!

Now this place is rockin First of all I had a flat bread. It was absolutely scrumptious! You can play pool, darts, watch sports on large screen TVs and to top it off there is live music and dancing! A great place to have fun!!

Our visit was for an after Christmas party dinner. It was a great place to hang out. They had a band playing and drink specials. It is just a clean, fun place to go.

Fairly new in Evansville indiana. This is a great place to come to play pool and have a few beers or mixed drinks. They recently opened a extended bar and they offer specials for drinks and food. They also have dart boards and very frequently host live country bands. They play a lot of country which is expected for a country bar. The food is delicious, and if you have 2 or more people I recommend the nachos. But anything on the menu is good. The reason Im giving 4 stars is sometimes too have to wait a few minutes for a drink , but other then that its an all around good bar.

We love Buds, food is great, service is excellent just a good place to go and meet up with friends.

Just ate at Buds and had the Supreme pizza with my wife. If I could give a zero i would! They should reframe it and call it a Supreme disappointment. First of all the crust was under cooked and there was no meat. The pizza came out cold to the point the cheese was solidified on top. When two people only eat two slices and stop that should tell the waitress something. Her response what do you think not what is wrong. I dont want a credit but to offer everybody fair warning to the quality.

The food was good when it made it to our table properly cooked. Our waiter was FANTASTIC. I know this is a bar but the music cold be a bit toned down so people could talk without shouting.

Just ordered but pretty good so far. Waitress was unsure what beers they had. Kitchen was out of several items from the menu including the daily special. Need to have a beer menu available for the craft beer drinkers.

We went on a sunday evening for dinner with some friends. They were not that busy Ive been there before when it was crazy busy and had good service and good food. Not this time sevice was extremely slow a couple of orders came out burnt and they did offer to remake it but my patience and appetite was gone by then !!

I stopped here, so I could eat outside. It was a really nice day. The waitress was nice, the food was decent, but it took 30 minutes to get lunch.

Was a nice bar, bartenders are helpful and nice, never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my drink as they were absolutely slammed as usual. Right on franklin street, nice patio seating and inside. I reccomend hiring someone to go around all night cleaning up beer bottles and mopping up tables as it got pretty disgusting towards the middle of the night.

This was my first time visiting Buds Rockin facility and I must admit that the wide open concept is really inviting to me. We only had a carryout so my interaction with staff was fairly limited but they were really accommodating. The facility was exceptionally clean and well lit. Great place to meet up with friends and enjoy yourself.

Ok place. Was not real impressed with the burgers. Not much taste unless you enjoy the taste of the fixins on the burger more than the burger itself.

I went to dinner...Had the Naches ..THE food was great..It was almost 6 pm music started ...It was so loud we couldnt talk and visit...Great food.Music should be background music at dinner time..It was do loud my other friend left didnt place order....It was irritating we had to yell to talk....Couldnt hear one another..

Everything was very good. Service, food quality, etc. However it was very cold inside the entire bar. We were there from 7 till about 10 and it did not get any better. It will not prevent us from going back. We will just layer up.

Pulled pork nachos, onion rings and chicken tenders were ordered and we were really happy with how tasty they were. The place was spotless clean and the staff was friendly.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. Service was horrible. We had to get up 4 times to serve ourselves. The group of waiters just stood around and talked. All the waitresses could do was play with their hair-nasty. Whoever owns this and the other K Cs needs to learn about service. DONT GO

Very unsafe at night. Evansville police working at the establishment are only flirting with young girls and not interested in keeping the place safe for customers.

Sat at a table with glasses and dishes from last patrons for 30 minutes as staff waited on tables on either side of us. Never ask us if we needed anything. Never go again or recommend to anyone.

This place is definitely worth a do again! Fantastic food, great atmosphere and excellent staff! Not really many vegetarian options is the only downside for me.

Alex was our server and to accommodate 18 people for a surprise birthday party, he was fantastic!! The food was mind blowing and my son had a great surprise party!!!

Very nice great food prices about what you would expect. Chef over cooked one of our streaks he redid it before it came out it just took a little longer to get that one. he came to our table and apologized.

2nd time here, first time had the Cuban, horribly dry, this time was no better, ordered a yall come back double burger, it was so salty I couldnt eat it and had it taken off the bill. Service was awesome, but dont think I will be back.

When you come at lunch and stay after, the servers and bartenders are more worry about taking smoke breaks and talking to people at the bars flirting then coming to check on the tables

The food is really good at buds. They have really good Buffalo chicken strips and the loaded spuds are really good too. They also give you a good amount of food for the price.

Terrible service if trying to sit out on the patio for lunch! Multiple times I have went for lunch during the week and had to wait awhile. Today went for lunch and waited 30 mins, even went inside to see if someone was serving outside, and ended up leaving as no one even took our drink order within those 30 minutes. Also saw a couple gentlemen leave for the same reason.

Perhaps I was there at a bad time because my food was not very good.I feel like this is not the usual for them. Service was excellent, server was professional and fun. I love the building!!!

Poor or Lack of service had us waiting on our margaritas for more than 20 min. It’s Friday night and many folks were waiting on drinks or food. The place has a nice atmosphere and good seating in and out, but they definitely need to step up the service.

One of the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had and didn’t even get to taste the food or drinks. Walked in to half of the tables closed and half of the open tables unbussed. Waited over 20 minutes at an unbussed table before going up to the register to tell a server we hadn’t been waited on and still waited another 10 minutes to never received any service before we ended up leaving. Will never return and will definitely be telling whomever about the service. Also, every table that needed bussed while we waited was never cleared.

Had a very disappointing visit to Buds today , there were 5 of us came in ab 2:30p waitress was horrible took awhile to get drink order then never came bk to take food order just continued cleaning tables they weren’t that busy at one point said I’ll be back never came back so we got up & left , I really wouldn’t think that would be the kind of person you would want working for you & not very friendly either.

My friends and I were out for a girl’s night and one of the bouncers here was incredibly rude to my friend. She admittedly had too much to drink so they would not let her in (which I totally understand), BUT instead of just saying she could not enter in her condition they laughed at her and said, “this one is a Piston’s special” along with a few other rude comments about her.Again, I’m not complaining they wouldn’t let her in (we went down to Sportsman’s instead), but I thought the comments were unnecessary, rude, and unprofessional.

Happening place. The bbq pork nachos are huge and tasty. We like to go on weekends and listen to live music and throw darts.

Buds may be a fine place for food and drinks, but they are very bad neighbors. Opened not too long ago, with family residential units right next to it. They play loud music until 3:00am that can be heard blocks away. Not cool for people who lived here in peace before they opened. Not to mention, it is a violation of Evansville noise ordinances, but they dont seem to care.

I enjoyed working there until my youngest son passed away unexpectedly and I was fired because I had to take a 3 days off. Smh. I ve never been so destroyed in my life Thanks James..oh yeah the plates y all eat off if still has a film of food from the last customer

Been here several Sunday’s in a row. Horrible bar service every time. Bartender is not attentive. Even for a repeat customer. Walks one end of bar to the other and single tasks. Plus bar doesn’t know what it wants to be on sundays. Music. No music. But service is my main complaint. Horrible.

I invited 20 friends for a Sunday afternoon meal here. The food was good, portions generous, the service was good and the prices fair. Our only complaint was the music was too loud.

It is a wonderful new place with great atmosphere and mix of people that make it very enjoyable and Lively. Their indoor / outdoor seating with large garage doors open add to the wonderful atmosphere.
