Leah was amazing! My upper back and neck were so tight it was causing numbness and tingling in my arms. I was skeptical that my symptoms could be relieved by massage, but Leah listened to my needs and provided the perfect massage! She was so gentle, and my back and neck have not felt this relaxed in so long. She made me feel respected and comfortable. I felt like she actually cared about my well-being. She didnt push me to spend more money, only recommending every 3 months, whereas other places would have pushed for more frequent visits just to make more money. I cant thank her enough! I will definitely be back to see her!

Truly and honestly my FAVORITE place to go. I started going early in 2022 after being a little intimidated to let someone cut my hair. Bri made me feel SO accepted and understood, not to mention she does an amazing job EVERY time I come in. She asks plenty of question to make sure I’m getting exactly what I want. I have since moved states and still choose to go to Bri every time I come into town! Would 100% recommend.

Leah is absolutely wonderful. She does great with the services she provides, and I always feel like the most important person in the world. I appreciate her and how I am treated when I go in to see her!

I haven’t gotten my hair professionally done in some years due to a bad experience. I knew it was time so I scheduled an appointment and I had Emily. She was amazing!! She understood what I wanted and made me feel heard! I left feeling amazing. 10/10 would recommend!!

Katie was the best!! She made my experience as a first timer for waxing so comfortable and easy. Katie was thorough with what to expect and after-care instructions. She calmed any nerves I had and made the experience a 10/10. I highly recommend seeing her for any of her services!

Best salon in Evansville, IN. My stylist Emily nails it every time. Great selection of products. The dual exfoliation facial made me feel brand new. The lash lift was so worth it as well. Highly recommend trying out all their services!!

What a beautiful salon! My stylist, Emily, was very professional and polite. She darkened my hair and explained the process on how she was going to do this. She also styled my hair and I loved the end results! She also did an eyelash lift on my daughter and they turned out looking great.

Solaris is simply wonderful. My stylist, Brittani, has been working with me for over 10 years and is fantastic at listening to what I want, figuring out what I need for cut and color, and making me look my best. Brittani is a professional and expert colorist--she is worth every penny. Over the years I have gone back and forth with coloring my own hair and letting her do my color. I get so many more compliments and my hair is so much healthier when I spend the extra money to have my hair professionally colored/highlighted every 2 months. Brittani is supportive no matter what I decide; she never pushes me into something I dont want, which I really appreciate. Everyone at the salon is super nice. And it is relaxing and welcoming. I cant wait for my next appointment!

Solaris Aveda is by far my favorite salon. From hair to massage, Abbey always makes me feel like my best self. I always enjoy my time in her chair from the consultation to the cut and color. Shes always keeping me up to date on her latest classes and the newest hair trends. I cant recommend the Solaris team enough.

I have gone to Solaris Aveda since they opened their salon on Burkhardt Road. The staff are all friendly and professional, and the space is very relaxing. Abbey Wolf is my stylist and she always asks what I like and what I want to change. She offers suggestions when I ask. She keeps up with the latest styles and trends. I have never been disappointed with my hair when she is finished cutting and styling.

Amy is excellent! I come from Dubai and she is the only one that gets my root color and hair style like I like it!!!

I found Sandra by chance back in May after my previous hairstylist didn’t come back to work. I can’t say enough kind words about how happy I am that I found her! My hair was pretty damaged and she has worked wonders on my hair getting it back to being healthy. She always gives me her honest opinion and I highly recommend her!

I went there to have an eyelashlift/tint. The staff are super pleasant. They offered me coffee while I filled out new client paperwork 🤌🏻☕️ This was my first time ever having this done. The technician, Katie, walked me through every step of the process and was very easy to talk to. She was super professional and did an amazing job! Somebody give that girl a RAISE! I’ve never not felt super awkward at a salon/spa and they broke that barrier. I WILL be going back and bringing everybody with me 👏🏻💃

Brianna is my go too for all simple or crazy hair cuts and styles. Never walked out with something I didnt ask for. She always is more than happy to talk about what Im looking for before ever getting the scissors out. Staff is always super sweet and informative.

I have tried a few places in town for pedicures, but hadn’t found one that I felt really great using. I had Emily do one at Solaris, and it was an excellent experience!I decided to book a massage with Leah for later in the day, that was also a top-notch experience.I already recommended them to a couple of family members, and will definitely make this my go-to for these services.

Lexi is an amazing stylist. She makes sure you are 100% satisfied. I had a haircut and highlights/lowlights. Honestly I never do reviews but I felt like I should because I got more compliments on my hair than I have in my entire lifetime combined! And it was a lot of complete strangers who went out of their way to compliment me! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Nicole always goes above and beyond before and after my appointment to make sure I love everything about my color and cut! Her knowledge about all the products helps so much in maintaining my hair’s health and style too! Her facials also bring out the best in my skin and I love using the serums and moisturizer daily. I had decided to bleach and color my hair for the first time and Lexi did exactly what I was looking for! I love the layered cut with my new hair! She also gave me recommendations for what hair products I should use to keep up with the color.

What a great experience, every time I visit salon, Amy always doing such a wonderful job with my hair!

I’ve gotten both partial highlights and a massage from here.Excellent massage! Only down side was I ended up paying $27 more than I planned on. I said yes to a 15 min scalp massage without knowing it was $27 extra! They did give me a card with this information however. I just did not have time to read the card thoroughly. Excellent experience overall though with the massage and masseuse!Cons: I had a stylist that was remarkably slow for the partial highlights. I was literally there for about 4 hours for only partialHighlights. Because of how slow she was, I did not receive my guaranteed 2 free services because she went past closing time of the salon (we were there significantly after the salon had closed!). She was the slowest by far though. Other stylists were way faster doing exact thing or more. The other clients would come and go while I remained there for 4 hours! Even though this particular stylist did a nice job, I would never go back to her again because 4 hours is just wayyyy to long for me to sit there for ONLY partial highlights and nothing more. I would however consider a different stylist there if I am in the area again and need something.Products here are too pricey for me to buy.

From the moment I walked all my trepidation melted away. I had such a horrific experience at a previous salon. This Salon however, just walking the door eased all that fear. What a magical salon! I understand they are redoing some of the interior, but it felt great as it was when I visited last week. Besides Nicole, who I worked with, I met several of the other people who worked there, the owner and the gentleman who was working on the interior design, everyone was so nice and engaging! Moving on to my services, I do not live in the area, so I have not had as good of a haircut in over 2 years, also given to me by Nicole... She is so gentle, creative, and has such a great attention to detail, which in turn really enables her to bring out the best in my hair, she also suggested a little bit of highlights, which I would not have thought of, but they really add that extra something that makes my hair look just more pulled together. The whole time she was kind and warm. Furthermore, they have the best hair sinks! No painful neck! Nicole also gave me a mini facial, that was so relaxing, and woke my tired skin from too much travel and stress, I left feeling rejuvenated from the whole experience! I highly recommend Nicole and the whole of Solaris.

My first time here, I was super pregnant LoL and got my toes done... it was extremely relaxing and a great experience 😌 I decided to try a wax I will say both times Ive been were surprisingly extremely relaxing and pleasant!! Amy is the gal I saw for my 2nd waxing, and we hit it off - talking about our kids and all - next thing I know she was done LoL no joke they make what could be an awkward experience feel SO natural and are all so laid-back!! I highly recommend this salon for any service - Ive met at least 3 employees now, and though Ill likely ask for Amy next time - each gal Ive met here was exceptional!!

Jessi has been cutting mine and my daughters hair for years now, and I’ve always been totally happy with the services we’ve received. She also did my hair for my wedding almost 4 years ago, and several others in our bridal party and it turned out SOOO so great. Love the clean hair and skin products offered at this salon, and also the companies that they give back to and promote. Can’t say enough great things about my experiences at this salon.

This is a great salon. Their customer service is wonderful. The front desk staff were friendly and very welcoming. I really liked that they gave me a tour of the facility. My hair stylist was Nicole M. and I cannot express enough how much I appreciated the fact that she took her time with me and my natural curly hair. She asked several questions and did not rush through my hair cut. It was obvious that she really did want me to leave there truly satisfied with my hair and experience there. She talked about the Aveda products but did not pressure me into purchases. I loved getting the complimentary mini neck massage at the end of my hair cut as well. It took me a bit to get use to my hair cut as I got quite a bit taken off, but I love my hair cut now and have gotten several compliments on it. I have already set another appointment with her and look forward to having Solaris as my new home for hair needs. I also plan to return to try out a massage session.

Kaylyn did a fantastic job on my haircut. I came in after not being pleased with a haircut elsewhere, and she did exactly what I was hoping for. She was so kind and walked me through what she was doing step by step. I ended up with the haircut I wanted originally but even better, and was so pleased with the entire experience. The salon itself was peaceful and well kept.

Ohhh Leah was amazing. I had a 5 phases facial (I am hoping I am calling it by the right name). I wish Inlived closer so I could have one every week.Btw..Leah has healing hands! If you lean in relaxing your mind and breath you will have an amazing session.

I came to this salon after having my hair completely botched elsewhere. I cannot believe the hair transformation Sandra did. Before my appointment, I felt like I had lost all confidence because of how bad the previous person had bleached/colored my hair. By the time I left my appointment, I regained all my confidence back and even found some extra! Everyone at the salon was friendly and welcoming from the minute I walked in. I am so thankful and I cannot recommend this salon, and especially Sandra enough!

Worst experience I have ever had in a “salon”. My hair is every much as grey now as it was when I walked in 4 days ago. The lady that answers the phone ( Becks) was very rude and not accommodating when I called to see about getting it fixed. She actually hung up On me When I asked to speak with someone else. I could have gotten better service and probably a better color at a cosmetology school. I am not from Evansville. I am used to paying top dollar at a top salon where I am from. I thought that was where I was going, APPARENTLY NOT! I will never go back and I would not recommend anyone visiting this salon.

The front staff greets you with a smile and are so helpful upon arrival. It’s a warm and inviting atmosphere and everyone is so friendly and attentive. All the stylists and spa staff do such an outstanding job of helping you relax and forget about the world and your troubles for however long you are there. If you haven’t given them a try I would highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed!

We were greeted before we had even walked in, had a great experience with all the staff, and the salon is very professional and clean. I absolutely love Solaris. Abby Wolf is an amazing stylist. She cuts my curly hair and I get regular compliments on my haircuts and how they showcase my natural color and curl. Love the products that they use and all the little extra services they offer (Abby also does an incredible facial!) One of the best salons in Evansville.

I have been a client at this salon for 13 years. My hair stylist knows more about my life than my close friends. I consider her family. I also have been extremely faithful and loyal to this salon; throughout college I scrapped for hair money, now I live in Illinois and I STILL take the trip to Evansville because I have that much trust in my stylist.However, everything ended today. I called the night before an appointment because something personal and important came up last minute. I LEFT A MESSAGE. I got a nasty voicemail the next day (from the manager who knows me from all the years). I called to reschedule only to be denied by the manager unless I paid the FULL service amount, WHICH IS $200!!!! I have long thick hair and I already over budget, plus a 3 hour round trip. That’s more than a speeding ticket to just pay. I understand and completely respect my hair dresser, as she has no control over this policy. However I am extremely upset and hurt that I have to leave my stylist of 13 years because of this. How absolutely heartbreaking and absurd. I said my goodbyes today.Oh and by the way, this salon only has 5 stars because they had a promotion going on for months if you rated 5 stars you got a free product. Take that into consideration.

Other salons have left my hair dry and brittle after a few times, but the Aveda products are amazing! My mom and several friends now come to Amy. I will never go anywhere else. Nicole is wonderful and always cuts my hair perfectly. She knows exactly how I like it. I have never had a bad experience here. From calling to schedule an appointment to the very end as I am paying everyone is always so professional and friendly. I usually just get my hair cut but I have also had a few other service done as well, such as a massage and highlights. I was skeptical about the highlights at first because I didnt want them to look too unnatural plus I dont want to damage my hair too much because I plan on donating it again. Not only are the products all natural the highlights turned out exactly how I wanted each time. They also offer monthly deals that are awesome so i try to take advantage whenever I can. My favorite part is the complimentary neck massage at the end of each service. Thank you!

I discovered Solaris Salon in Evansville several months ago and have been returning since. Absolutely love their customer service! It is like no other salon I have ever been in. They take time to get to know your likes and discuss different options. They pamper you with things like a foot soak and massage while your hair color sets or a neck massage with essential oils after EVERY hair cut/style. When I leave I feel like a million bucks! Seriously!

I scheduled an appointment at Solaris Salon & Spa in Evansville, IN with Sunny. Sunny did a fantastic job on my hair. It looks modern, healthy and the color is beautiful! I also appreciated the fact that there was no political or negative conversation happening in the salon. The staff was professional and the environment inviting. There is enough negativity in the world right now. A salon should be a pampered experience where you escape for a few hours. Solaris provided that for me today.

Everyone at Solaris Aveda is very friendly from the time you walk in the door. All the products are natural and my stylist Lauren is great and has made me comfortable enough to try two big changes with my hair in the last couple of months. Definitely plan on continuing to come back!

I am constantly blown away by the products, service and my hair EVERY time here. I have extremely thick, naturally curly, “difficult” hair, so finding the right stylist and salon is huge for me. I’ve gone to Andrea for years & each time, my hair just gets better and better! She is hands down the BEST stylist and the most incredible thing that’s ever happened to my hair.

I got by hair done by Andrea, and she did an AMAZING job! I changed my mind halfway through the process, and she was so accommodating, nice, & professional. I could tell that I was putting her behind schedule, but she still took her time and made sure I was happy. I would highly recommend Aveda & especially Andrea. Its a little pricey but my hair looks absolutely perfect. I wont let anyone else touch it!

Lauren is incredible. Switched from another local salon that really priced themselves out of the market. I had the same hairdresser for 10 years before Lauren. It was time for a change though. I’ve always used Aveda products so the choice of Aveda’s salon was easy. Lauren is young and is open to changes so if she does your hair and you don’t like something - she fixes it without question. She’s a hard worker and is accountable for her actions. She will make things right. She believes the customer is always right too. You cannot go wrong with her. I’ve gone a lot of places asking them to help me not have my bob be super bottom heavy. I went here for the first time and had lexi. She listened and actually fixed the little crisis I was having with the bottom back of my hair. 10/10 will be back.

I loved this place! They were very professional, I called late and they got me in with super short notice which I greatly appreciated! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Lauren did my hair and was so nice and did exactly what I had envisioned. The products they use are great, and they suggest what you can use but they are not pushy for you to purchase them which I think is wonderful. (Revised-I added a star from previous one star because I’m not as mad now.) I was devoted to Evansville’s Aveda despite its expense. Mainly because of one stylist, Jillian, because of her skill with hair color and highlights, and her pleasant personality. I don’t like being in middle of hyper chatter of gossip as it feels in some salons.However, I am avoiding this salon for now, although I loved having my feet soaked while waiting for color to process, and always felt comfortable there. It feels tacky to describe the experience that turned me away, but at my last visit I was treated rudely by one of the management. On principle, I will not be returning for now to the hair stylist I have been most faithful to in all my life. I usually drift. And that massaging neck chair. So, learn from me without knowing the details, just remember these Aveda rules: You will be charged the fullest price for hair procedure and also styling unless you can be at the Aveda site for a FULL 2.5 hours in case they have delays. It is counted as a no-show, because you did not cancel a full 48 hours in advance. It doesn’t matter if you’re standing there and have 1.5 hr for a simple procedure. In this case I had the time for THAT but I was going to have to wait until a stylist was available. Because they were behind. I couldn’t wait this time as in past, because my dog was hit by a car and I had emergency appt with vet in 1.5 hours. So see, even that really sad reason doesn’t matter. If your card is in file it will be charged whether you approve or not. There is one grace cancel allowed, however. I did once because they asked me not to come in, when I called to see if they wanted me there...I was possibly still contagious from a virus. I could have come so I didn’t think this counted as no-show.I maybe could have swallowed the large charge for more services than I was scheduled for in first place if it hadn’t been for the rudeness, and the fact I have been a good, generous, long time client. So, it’s a great place, but you’re ready to pay for the full meal deal no matter if you were scheduled for something less expensive, if you didn’t cancel 48 hours in advance, no matter what happens in that 48 hours.

I always have a great experience at Solaris. Amy is amazing! I have always had great hair cuts, colors, facials and massages from her. I always recommend Solaris to my friends and family.

Friendly staff. My hair is naturally curly and so many places I have tried dont listen and try to cut it shorter than I want. Which is a huge no no for my hair type. The lady that colored and cut my hair was new Im guessing because it took her a bit to mix the colors. But my hair turned out great. I was very happy with it. And the mini facial for being a new customer was a nice unexpected treat.

Melanie is the go to esthetician in the area by far!! Facials, waxing, massage, the girl does it all and is amazing at it! She is professional yes personable and I would recommend her to anyone! She’s able to get me in last minute if needed or move things around when my schedule gets crazy. I’ve been going to her for years now and she’s 5 stars for sure!!

My name is Lavonda and Lauren S.was my stylist today, my first time there and she was very nice. I had my hair colored and cut. Asked for slightly layered bob with long in front, but not what I got. Too much layering and short in front, now my hair has wave to one side that I warned her would happened if it was cut to short. Hair color was ok, spent way too much money to not be happy! 😞

The people are so thoughtful and made sure i was comfortable. They asked if i wanted anything to drink while i waited to be seen. Cynthia did an amazing job at taking my hair from orange to ash blonde and Lauren styled my hair beautifully. 10/10 recommend

We absolutely love Cynthia. She cut my hair when I lived in Evansville. Now that we live 3 hours away, I still find my way back to get my hair cut. Not just me but the whole family. Shes especially good with our 18 month old. Tried going elsewhere, was just disappointed.

I have visited Aveda Solaris several times now. I am so pleased by the services they provide to their clients. I have received several massages from Melanie, which are the best ever. I have also had Krista style my hair. She even goes the extra mile with shoulder rubs, foot baths etc.. Solaris Avedas products are wonderful ! Love the oils and hair products. While they may seem expensive to many, the products last a very long time. this makes them well worth the cost. I highly recommend this business!

I moved to Evansville and was needing a new stylist. I had went to Aveda in my last town and loved it. So, I thought it would be the same here. I tried 3 stylists within the salon trying to find the one. The pros: when you get a cut you get a scalp massage. If you get color, you get a foot soak. Thats a nice touch. The staff are friendly and offer refreshments. The cons: The first stylist somehow turned by roots orange. Im not sure how since we were doing brown on brown. The next ruined my shirt by getting dye all down the back. She didnt tell me. I had no idea until I got home and my husband saw it. The third stylist pushed products the whole time and botched my layers. There was a whole strip of hair down the back that was at least an inch longer than the rest. Also, you must pay tips in cash. Thats a bit inconvenient. Needless to say, I wont be going back. I was really hoping to find a stylist in the salon since I love Aveda products, philosophy and service. So, Im pretty disappointed.

This place is amazing. I have never been in a salon like this. They go above and beyond. They offer complimentary services with whatever service you are paying for. They take their time with you. Bri was great, and did a perfect job on my hair. I highly recommend this salon.

I had a cut and balayage by Amy in Evansville, IN. The cut was great and the balayage was very natural. The scalp massage at my shampoo was great and very relaxing, I also booked a 90 minute massage with her, which was also amazing. Highly recommend!

My daughter had an appointment to get her hair done for a dance. She only had it curled. Not washed or anything. It took them about 20 minutes. I was charged $60. The manager says that this is the correct price for service rendered. I have been to aveda spa/salons before and even worked at one. Yes, they are pricey, but this is absurd. She does more to her hair on a regular day before school than they did for her and charged me $60. I will never go back.
