Serious Concerns About Professional ConductI have been a client of Foot Massage Spa for nearly a decade, beginning when I was pregnant with my daughter after long hours on my feet. I have always appreciated the professionalism and quality of the massage therapy services provided. It’s with a heavy heart that I write this review, stemming from a deeply unsettling experience during my last visit approximately five months ago.During my session, conducted by a male therapist, I encountered behavior that was blatantly inappropriate and unprofessional. Without delving into explicit details, the conduct involved unsolicited physical contact that was both shocking and distressing. Additionally, there was a lack of respect for my privacy and boundaries, aspects I had never before questioned or experienced at this establishment.This review is not written in haste. I spent considerable time reflecting on the incident, confiding in a close family member about what happened, wrestling with the fear of disbelief, and the potential repercussions of speaking out. The discovery of a similar experience shared by another client has compelled me to come forward now that I know that my experience was not an isolated incident. This is not about retribution but about ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all clients.I urge the management to take these concerns seriously, not as accusations but as an opportunity to reevaluate training, professionalism, and client safety measures. It is crucial for a space dedicated to healing and well-being to maintain the highest standards of conduct.Given the managements response dripping with victim blaming to the other reviewer, I fear it will not be handled appropriately. Given that, I feel the need to warn those considering Foot Massage Spa for massage therapy. Please be vigilant and ensure your comfort and boundaries are respected. I hope my and the other reviewers experiences are outliers, but I believe it’s important to share so that others are aware and can make informed decisions with the interest of protecting my community.

My friend invited for me to try this place out. It was such a wonderful and refreshing place. Quiet, comfortable,and well worth the cost! I will be returning.

Im on my feet most of my shift, lifting patients, squatting, and stooping throughout the day. I see a regular massage therapist every month that does an excellent job but sometimes I need extra work done as well. I am grateful that I can call and normally always get a session worked in here that can provide a deep tissue massage that reduces muscle pain, improves mobility, and reduces inflammation. It can also help to improve my posture and reduce stress, so I can then provide better care for my patients at work and then also a vigorous work load/activities at home. Thank you! I am always pleased with the consideration throughout; he is always concerned and wants reassurance that the pressure is suitable enough or too much. I am a therapist with high expectations and ask for extra firm pressure to get relief. I am appreciative of his skill and kindness. Prices are affordable, allowing for tips that are well deserved. Again, thank you for working me in.

It was like the first massage they’ve ever given. No technique. They even told me- I’m not experienced with massage!! WHAT??!!?? Never again

We have been going here for several years. Generally it’s a good experience or we wouldn’t have went so many years. This last Saturday, a man gave me my massage and was very inappropriate. He had an erection and kept putting running it across my hand. He also was stretching my shoulder and would lift my chest off the massage table and expose my breast. I wonder how many other victims are out there.

I miss when this place used to give good massages. They have been really rough and sloppy the last few times I went. Feels like I am wasting my money now. I don’t want to but I guess I will have to find a new place. Disappointed but tired of feeling worse than when I walked in.

Fantastic service. Will be back every time I’m in town. Staff is very nice.

Dont let the outside fool you. Beautiful professional look on the inside. My only complaint is a lack of communication. Its one of those places you have to guess what they want you to do. I did enjoy the experience and it was a great price. Would be nice if they asked about comfort/pressure level. If youre not looking for DEEP tissue, this may not be your place.

Best Place and Price.I been going here for 2 years and been a loyal customer and had over 25 massages there.The deep tissue for 90 minutes is a must! Afterwards, they give you water so you can hydrate. When they say 90 minutes, they actually massage the whole time.

I work 2 jobs everyday so my husband got my 30 min feet/30min back massage for Christmas which I had on Friday 01-06-23. It was my first and last experience in a massage parlor. I will not be going again! I gave 3 stars because the feet portion was actually quite nice and comfortable but when it got to the back portion her nails scratched my neck and back so bad I have marks still whelped up on me. I did make a comment about her nails scratching me and she just said yes like she did not understand me needs. This place is definitely not my taste

I have been here twice now and will continue to go! Both times were very relaxing experience. The masseuse was great at what she does, hit all the spots i needed!

Going for a massage with my sister yesterday,we have been here several times,usually we enjoy a comfortable massage, but my sister was disappointed yesterday because she did a one-hour foot massage and the first masseur was too tired She fell asleep, and her nails kept scraping my sister’s feet. It was very uncomfortable.Ask the manager to change to a masseur. Their business is good.However, the 60-minute reflexology should not be performed by four masseurs !!!They only charge me 30 minutes in the end,But I dont need you to give me a discount.I came here for relaxed.Therefore, we will find another place to try. There will be no more single choice here.I recommend several masseurs to everyone, Anna, Lulu and Lucy.These three are very good masseurs. Yesterday, Lulu helped me massage my back for one hour. She did very good job!Last time, Lucy helped me and my husband do a 90-minute full body massage. Thank them very much. Their work is very hard. If you can, please give more tips to encourage them.

I love this place! Been coming for years. Pretty much since they opened. Ive brought several people with me whom also enjoyed the experience. Lee (Owner) is such an incredibly amazing person. There was a gap in coming regularly. When I started back up, she remembered me right away. They have an unbeatable price for the services provided. Would highly recommend!!

I travel to Evansville on business and have had many, many 90 min massages at the Foot Massage Spa going back almost 3 years. You cant ask for nicer hospitality and friendlier service. Yes, sometimes there is a language barrier when Im trying to communicate specific attention to the masseur during a massage, but the kind lady at the front desk has always been super helpful in navigating that. The prices are quite reasonable and there is no pressure to tip (although I always do). Its always the highlight of my trip to town!

My husband, step-daughter and I, stopped in on a whim. Never had a foot massage so we gave this place a try. It was absolutely amazing, everyone was very friendly and professional. We all felt fantastic afterwards and we will definitely be returning. Thank you!

I do not get massages myself. My wife really likes to visit this place. Each time she visits, they give her credit. After 10 massages, you get a free one. The lady that works the front desk is very nice. So, I would recommend this place if you are interested in a nice massage. On weekends, call and get a reservation, as this place is very busy.

Today was my first time ever receiving a professional massage. I read the reviews and have heard good things about them so, I decided to give them a try. I walked in without a reservation and they were booked. Which was expected because it’s the weekend. However, the lady at the front desk made a phone call and told me to sit tight and she’ll be right back in 5 mins. So, I did. She comes back with someone who gave me the best massage. I received the 30 min foot and 30 min back massage. It was so relaxing and the masseuse did an excellent job. Wish I would have asked his name. I’ll definitely be going back.

Lee does a great job getting clients scheduled. All massuses are great! They look like they are thoroughly trained in flexology. My favorite is Anna ! I work at Toyota and she really works on my shoulders and low back. Great on my hands and feet. I recommend the 100 min total body massage!

90 minute full body massage with Anna was great. Much relaxed. Language barrier but, She knew by feel what problem areas needed extra attention. I can tell she is caring and sweet. Price is so reasonable it would have to be a regular routine.

The therapist I had was named Anna. The massage itself was pretty good. What Im unhappy with is the idea that they expect you to give a tip after spending $60. I dont know how much the therapist actually gets paid but I wonder if the place of business is not paying them very well. Most of them do not speak very much English and it makes me think the workers are being used like slave labor. Anna seems to be a very sweet person and I hope they are not taking advantage of her in this way. I probably will not be back because I do not tip a massage therapist. If I was wealthy maybe I would.

Good massage but made me pay before services were rendered and then literally demanded a tip and when I said no bc i found that incredibly rude and I had already given them all the cash I had on me at the time the TWO people they had asking me for a tip said oh really no tip but it was a good massage. I walked out. Will not be back. I ALWAYS tip as someone with customer service background but Ive NEVER been demanded to tip.

My husband & I received a package deal as a Christmas present & were looking forward to it since we had never been before. On entering we were hit with strong perfume smell so strong you could taste it. I suffer from allergies & it sent me in a tailspin of sneezing & coughing. I was recovering from a respiratory infection & had just been to an eye appointment prior so my eyes were sensitive & they began watering. The receptionist brought me water & a cough drop & I told her the smell was too strong. She showed me some spray she had sprayed. I calmed down & I had seriously thought about leaving but glad that I stayed. Both my husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The masseuses were professional & fantastic. We left relaxed & with a pungent smell on our clothes. First impressions matter & my first impression was that this was a sleazy place. Im glad I gave it a chance because it was a very relaxing experience.

My BFF and I went last night without an appointment for our birthdays - hers in Dec, mine in Jan. They got us in for a couples massage within 30 minutes. We did the leg/back massage for $45. Man it was amazing. I was apprehensive at first but they are incredibly professional and courteous. Not much decor on the walls but your eyes are closed the entire time so who cares?They start with your head, move to feet, then we went into another room for our backs. Good thing my BFF and I arent shy, as it was clothes off. These ladies know their stuff and are very strong but kept asking if pressure was okay. Great value but take cash to tip. Would recommend!!

I have been searching for somewhere that will actually give me a good deep tissue massage and this is it. I will never go anywhere else. My experience was 15/10 and I wish I got the girls name that gave me a massage because it was the most incredible massage I have ever had and I can’t wait to go back!!!

Great experience with spa. Always very attentive and provide combination of deep tissue and softer motions. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Lulu does wonderful job and always finds my sore spots. Highly recommend!

Love going here! The place is very clean and quiet. The music is very relaxing and all of the attending therapists do an amazing job! The prices are good to boot! My husband and I have been going there for at least the last three years. Can’t beat it, best place in town!

This little spa is such a hidden jewel! I was taken here as a surprise for Mother’s Day. I expected only a foot massage, but received a full body deep tissue massage instead! It was so quiet and relaxing with low lighting and nice music playing very softly. Frank did an amazing job with my massage and I will definitely be back in the future! I cannot believe I never knew this place was here! my husband and I found a Groupon and that is how we found out about this establishment. Ive had many massages in my lifetime and I had two massages in my life that were absolutely phenomenal, i did not think it could get any better and one of them was here! Since then weve been back twice and well plan to keep going back!

Wow!! This place is everything great ppl say about it and more. Its truly a “you’ve got to experience it for yourself!”things. My wife and i didnt know what to expect this week but we were amazed. First and foremost, they are timely and its the first massage that was as long as promised! “Angela” is amazing! I will be going probably monthly, and it’s affordable enough to do that. As for the music, we loved it! We looked at each other and laughed, because they do play the same song but its one of things i love actually. Thank you Foot Massage Spa!!

Awful place, I dont know how they got so many ratings. Took my wife here and the entire time during the massage was an awkward silence I dont think they know English at all. This supposes to be a relaxing time, but for us, it was not relaxed at all! The next day my wifes ankle and feet gets itchy, peeling and swelling. We have to cancel all our planning and line up three hours at a clinic. How hard would be for you guys sterilize the tools? Ruined vacation? oh thank you!

My niece had bought a combo massage off Groupon last year. I was going to go but covid hit and was not able to use until recently. The owner was kind/understanding enough to still let me use the coupon even though it had expired so I decided to redeem for my birthday. When I went the lady at the desk informed me that they were no longer offering me the combo and upsold me to a deep tissue massage. She only used the amount my niece paid on Groupon and I had to pay the difference. So I didnt seem like my niece received any sort of deal at all. Also, I was talked into getting the deep tissue massage. Well, I didnt exactly know what that would entail so it would have been nice if that was explained before committing to the massage. I just wanted a nice, relaxing massage for my birthday. Also, being a hygienist my back does get sore. Turns out the deep tissue massage is quite painful but I thought Oh good, he must be getting working out all the tension and I will feel great afterwards. Nope, I was so sore for the next few days. It felt like my back was bruised and was very sensitive to touch. After researching when I got home this is not uncommon. So if you are looking for a deep tissue massage then it will be a great experience. My masseuse did a good job and was very kind. I do plan on going back to try the foot reflexology.

Words cannot truly express how amazing this place is. The Therapists are so well trained that you do not need to tell them trouble spots because they find them. They found sore spots I did not know I had. I stay in extreme pain from car wreck and double knee replacements. This is the only place that keeps me out of pain and I can actually sleep w/ out pain meds. I have spent a fortune at other spas and chiropractors w/out the outcome after one session at FM. They truly understand the meaning of deep tissue as well. You can get a massage that works deep and hurts so good or a relaxation w/ softer touch. I can finally live life out of pain w/ the amazing Therapist at Foot Massage and can afford to do so because they are very reasonably priced. Just because it is lower $ than others around does not mean lower value. The owners and staff are so welcoming and they keep the spa very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Thank you Foot Spa!!!!

They are awesome, professional, courteous, and welcoming. I have been going there for over 3 years and I am on my third card. For every 10 massages, the 11th one is free. I highly reccommend this massage spa.

Great overall experience. Some massage therapist are better than others. The only thing I could say is that they need to change the music its the same songs over and over again LOL but otherwise, its a good deal!

It was my first time getting a couples massage with my husband and we had a great experience here, the people were friendly and the massage waa awesome, we will be visiting again real soon. The atmosphere was so inviting and calm and soothing.

Everything is worth going in for, whether its a preexisting condition or just tension, the employees are highly professional and can work out the kinks! Love it! Now i have my 12 year old and my boyfriend goes with me all the time!

Wow! That was the best massage Ive had! I have old neck and back injuries that have never healed properly and are constantly causing pain. I am also a night shift nurse on a very busy unit at the hospital, which frequently irritates my injuries. Im good at taking care of other people but not myself so much. I over worked myself this week. When I came in I couldnt turn my neck and my shoulder has been locked up and on fire for three days. Ive had difficulty finding effective treatment since I moved from Denver. Michael found the knots in my shoulder and back right away and worked them out. I can move! He was very attentive to detail and I didnt feel rushed or uncomfortable. I feel soooo much better! I am looking forward to my next visit and plan to come back often. Highly recomend to anyone needing good deep tissue work. Thank you soooo much for helping me feel better!

One of the MSers came into the office for newsletter stuffing and was telling us about this foot massage spa. She said it was the most therapeutic 30mins shed ever had.Price was 25 for 30 min and 35 for 60 min. I treated myself. No appointment - just walked in. No idea what to expect.... except that this was done fully clothed - with bare feet :). I laid down on a table that allowed my knees to bend and my feet were placed into a spa bowl with hot water. Initially my scalp and head were massaged and then a rag placed over my eyes. The room was darkened with relaxing music. There was room for 3 or 4 other people to be getting foot massage at the same time.. however I was so relaxed I had no idea if anyone else came in or not. The foot massage was amazing. Sometimes a I thought might be painful as pressure points were pressed but it never came to pain. Each foot and up to the knee was done in the same order for the same amount of time. After what seemed like forever my legs were wrapped in warm towels. I thought the massage was complete and I was totally satisfied.. but no it was not- I was taken to another room where I laid on a table and over my clothing was given an amazing back/ neck/ shoulder/ leg/ even rump massage. Pressure points were pressed. This was a deeper massage than Ive gotten before. The fellow did not speak English as far as I know. Anyway I wanted to give a very good recommendation for them. It was very therapeutic. I think the next time I will just get the 30 minutes (you can get 15)- if I just want my feet and lower legs. Dont hesitate to try this.. Well worth it!!!

Not a good experience! I paid for a couples spa massage package and never received the facial or foot massage that I was told was included ! And the place was run down , it smelled and I was very uncomfortable ! Definitely wont return to this one !

Upon first glance you might discard this amazing place! They really know there stuff and although theres no fancy decor. Its clean and quite and relaxing! And OMG the massage is absolutely Amazing!!!!!
