Phat Daddys Sports Bar & Grill

Ordered takeout. Hostess was nice. I ordered fried mushrooms and fried zucchini. It was one of the few vegan options offered late.When I arrived, they gave my food to someone else and told me they discontinued the zucchini. I had to wait for my food, which was fine. I asked to speak to the manager and he never came.

They dont allow medication inside so I couldnt bring an insulin pen in with me. They charge a $10 cover on a Wednesday. The karaoke didnt work half the time bc of system crashes. It was popping inside and very busy which was cool. But outside they had the same girl on the mic several songs in a row screaming into the microphone like she thought louder means better but actually was like nails on a chalkboard. The KJ was definitely a cool guy but he had no control over this lady acting like she was the host. I was having bad acid reflux and tried to see if they had any Tums at the bar but they didnt. I fought through it and at the end of the night I was able to perform Rap God and No Love. During Rap God and some other peoples songs, someone else was playing music from their speaker on the patio as well like they were trying to outplay the karaoke. Performing my songs near flawlessly, I got crickets afterward both times. Oh well. Id give Phat Daddys another try for good measure I suppose.

Greeter was very sweet but the bartender was a bit rude. She was sitting at the bar when we first walked in on a ft call, proceeded to stay otp while handing us our menus and staying otp while making the drinks. Hearing her make comments such as “I want to go home” was not very welcoming. Then I was charged a 15% gratuity fee and there was maybe 8 people in the whole establishment. Two very small drinks came to $29.81 after gratuity and tax. Very displeased and will not be coming back.

The atmosphere was really nice. We went on a Wednesday evening and sat outside. The breeze was blowing, the wings were cooked with loveeeee, the drinks were good (not strong enough though tbh but the Long Island can sneak up on you) and the wings were delicious! We didn’t even need the ranch (I used it anyway bc it’s my fav). Asha was our server, she was sweet, quick service and she made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening. We will definitely return!!

It was awful. I dont think they cater to everyone You know what I mean.. The service was horrible. The food was dry and dark and Burn. I was very disappointed because I came from out of town. Thinking that I will have this wonderful fries and chicken wings. And the chicken wing was burn. Nobody ever came back to the table to ask if we was okay.

Atmosphere was definitely more of a local vibe/under construction due to use of half of bar. Place was big and empty. Maybe in a few months things will change.

It had been a while since I went to this establishment, and now they require a cover charge. Also, they only accept cash app. This was not posted, or conveyed to us until after we first went through 2 security/ID checks, and finally to a rude lady who collects the fee. We immediately left.

Cool hole in the wall spot. Karaoke outside. My only complaint was the AC wasnt ACing!

Great food. We got the steak and baked potato special. Surprised it was Rib Eye. Steak was cooked as ordered and baked potato was perfect. Usually you order a steak special and its dried out and potato is hard. Not here. Was very happy with everything. Recommend people come on Thursday to get their steak special. Great service also.

Cool place to chill and play pool. They allow you to rent the table. They do not keep up with how long you rent so when I returned the billiard balls, I was charged 10.00 flat. Good vibes all the way around. I visited on a Wednesday and a Saturday, and I enjoyed both nights.

I went in a Saturday night. They were super busy but I didnt have to wait long for a drink at the bar. The music was awesome and the dance floor was full of happy faces.

This place was a unique twist on the traditional sports bars Ive been to. Phat Daddys is a good name.It has some traditional fried sports bar food, some sharable sized baskets, wings, and sandwiches. Theres a nice sized menu for a sports bar.Theres a pool area in there and a single pool table on the front side. Waitress was really nice.It was pretty empty when I was there, I think it gets busy later. Not a bad place to go eat, cant say about anything else.

Phats is the go-to spot if ur looking for good hot food, and great music to dance to. It gets pretty packed after midnight, but once u have a drink or two n your system, u dont notice the large crowd hyping u up!!! Highly recommend if u want to enjoy good food, strong drinks and a great music atmosphere!!!!

I dont understand why I have to pay $40.00 just to order food, when no one is answering the phone. So Im forced to come and order and yall what me to pay $40 just to order food! I told security I just wanted to order food for me and my sister and niece. Yet they told us $40 a piece to order wings!! We didnt even want to be in the club just get wings!!! Definitely lost a long time loyal customer. N the wings really aint worth $40 . Tax season and yall are definitely taking advantage...n being greedy...sad af.

First it took a while to even be acknowledged and it’s currently going on half an hour and counting and I still don’t have my food yet. I ordered to go. First and last visitUpdate: I was there from 5:50 and just leaving at 6:37. I wonder how long I would’ve been waiting if I didn’t ask about my order. No one checked in or anything.

I like the atmosphere, real chill spot. I love the Bartenders Suki and Ebony, they be on point!!

Good food and nice service. Plenty of pool tables in a bar which is an oddity these days. Went for super bowl and had plenty of tvs but volume wasnt loud enough to hear. Pitchers kept coming but watch the tab at the end of the night. We probably paid for a few extra that we didnt order. Overall nice place to chill and enjoy some drinks and shoot pool.

The food was good and plentiful. I had 1/2 of rack of ribs that seemed like a full rack. The mac n cheese was good although it was cold; imagine how much better it would have been if it had been at least warm. 👀 We went around 4 PM and the atmosphere was chill with plenty of pool tables. The reason that I only gave this establishment 3 stars is because they charged my girlfriend and I $10 an hour ($5 hr per person) to play pool. I feel like that $10 an hour is expensive to play pool! Ill return for the food but I wont be playing pool at $10 an hour!

We went for a little nightlife fun and drinks, and I enjoyed myself. The bartenders were very nice, fast, and inviting. Didnt expect to pay 20 bucks as a cover charge at a bar and grill but we had fun.

I went to this sports bar for the first time two weeks ago with my mom and sisters. While I was there a waitress charged my card for someone else order than handed me card and a receipt. I told her this isn’t my order and asked her for my money back. I gave her the receipt and my card back. She apologized, (supposedly) voided out the order and charged my card for my actual order. I asked her was she going to put my money on the card and she said no need because the money didn’t come off because she voided the order out. Fast forward to the next week. I checked my account and of course both charges came off my card. I called to speak with a manager I told him what happened and he told me to call back after 1 because they were busy. I called back at 2 and he rushed me off the phone claimed he looked it up and it was voided and I will get my money back in 3 to 5 business days. Now it’s been 2 whole weeks and I still haven’t gotten my money back. I called again today and let them know it has been TWO weeks and I STILL haven’t received my money back. Whom ever answered the phone put me on hold for 12 minutes then picked up the phone and hung up. Me being me called back 4 times and nobody answered than the 5th time they answered and hung up. I waited 20 minutes than called back and of course got an answer. I nicely told them how I was rudely hung up on and I just wanted my money back that was STOLEN from me. She rudely responded “Well, Yeah, Call back after 6 when a manager comes in his name is —-“ than hung up in my face. I didn’t hear the managers name.Long story short, I spent $31.30 on 6 nasty, lukewarm wings. And I’m pretty sure I will not be getting my money back.

The atmosphere is great, and the music is great. Employees are friendly. But 90% of the time, I have to wait forever for a drink. I am disabled and use a cane. It hurts my back to have to stand a long time and wait to order a drink, let alone be acknowledged. Its as if I am invisible.

This is the worse bar I have ever been to hands down. The service was horrible. The waitress has no clue what shes doing. She took an extra $10 dollars off my card. After talking to the manger he was more clueless than the waitress. So please if you go to Phat Daddys they will overcharge you. The service is terrible. Never pay with a card. CASH ONLY! I will never return. If you choose to go in there just be aware and NEVER give them your card.

This place really needs better management. Only 1 pool table available up front. The other 2 had either a hold in them or dark liquid stains all over them! There was only 1 person bartending Saturday all day until the night shift relieved her! Manager was sitting with customers! She had to be waitress and hostess as well. She was in tears 😭 Very over worked. Took us 30 min to get a drink🤦🏼 Was not clean at all inside. Some tables needed to be bused! Really needs to be updated inside.Looks run down... 🙄 Bathroom soap didnt work! Broken.I hadnt been here in years and now I see why🤷🏼‍♀️

Unfortunately when I visited Phat Daddy’s tonight the security guard tried to scam me. I arrived at 7:15 pm and parked in a spot that was not marked with a cone. After the crowd started to arrive after 10 pm the security guard approached me at the bar to tell me I needed to move my car. I left the bar and went outside to ask him why and he became very belligerent and said I either needed to move my car or pay him $40.00 to continue to park my car. He was definitely trying to scam me! My friends and I decided to leave. I will never visit this establishment again!

I recently rated it 4 stars, Im changing my rating to 3 stars. My only complaint is that the bartenders are slow and take care of the people they know quicker than others. Nobody should walk up after you and get a drink quicker than you. Need faster bartenders. I visited a 2nd time on 3/12/21

I wanted to tatse the yellow rice before ordering it because I know if I didnt like it, they wasnt going to take it pff my bill. Well the nice server did asked and she said that they told her the only thing they sample were the sauces.. How much would it hutt to give a teaspoon full of rice in a lil sauce cup? I wouldve paid $.15 for it if they were worried about money... Other than that, it was fine..

Wonderful bartenders and kitchen staff. Love the long ten foot tables for pool. Awesome bar owner. Get to know the team and youll have an awesome time.

Meh 🫤Ok to chill and vibe, but watch the bartenders.First, like any other club/bar the bartenders ignore estrogen 🤔Secondly, I paid for my drinks and my friend’s bc it was her birthday… the bartender sneakily tried to get my friend to pay twice! I caught her and let her know that I was sober 🤷🏽‍♀️… then the bill went away…Just pay attention and watch your tab.

The waitresses were extremely slow and we ended up stepping to the bar to order our food and drinks. The food came out cold and we sent it back. Its been months since I was there and the band although good was playing the same old songs in the same order.

Huge bar and dining area. Plenty of outdoor seating. Lots of pool tables. Beer was under $4 a bottle. Bartender from Philly was very nice.

A friend & I called before arrival. We were told the establishment didn’t close until 10 due to the pandemic. We got there just under 9. We were turned around by 2 homosexual men. One with several piercings & one with a terrible beard. While my friend & I were standing there, they allowed a man with no stature into the bar. One bouncer told us he had no power over who he let in, while his friend with a cheap cigar said they did not have to disclose their discussions with my friend & I. It was the principle. If they were CLOSED; we would have left. We were turned around at 9:09 disrespectfully. I don’t recommend anyone to waste their time at this toe crust of a business to anyone or their friends.

Best wings in town! Great customer. They are always pleasant and accommodating. Quick service. Im always in and out. I love the garlic parmesan wings everytime!

This is a great place to hang out and drink. A lot of bikers hang out here. You can also play pool and dance.. The wings isn’t outstanding at least the ones I order was sort over cooked.. The drinks on Tuesday night is very cheap. So Tuesday is a good time to come out!!

The service was terrible. Waited an extremely long time for the bartender to even notice us. She was not attentive and not friendly. Let our drinks sit empty for at least 5 minutes and never asked if we would like another. I could understand If they were busy but they were not she was just watching tv. Will not be going back.

Just left. Our waitress were extremely rude. Had to ask the manager about getting a check because she never came back to make sure everything was okay. When she came back for me to sign the receipt, she had an attitude. I asked her for a copy of my receipt, and she never did bring us our receipt. My husband finally had to walk up there and ask for it. Needless to say, we wont be coming back.

Service was slow, had a club sandwich not bad. Pasta salad was awesome good & cold too.Karoke that night DJ was awesome , unfortunately patrons werent participating much.

Chill spot, inexpensive, with a nice mix of old school and current Hip-Hop; waitstaff was excellent and checked in on us frequently, drinks were promptly delivered and we had no problem getting a pool table in very short order. Definitely will be returning.

Food is great service is slow as molasses. Our poker league plays here twice a week for 4.5 hours each night and no one playing can get a drink any quicker the 20 mins. Food comes out slower. Dont know why but this is the situation

I was there at 10:00 pm no need for the rudenesscommunication is key if your the first point of an established …..not to mention the guard patting me down rudely says 25.00 just because of your white tee…. Keep in mind a V Kneck “Tommy Hill Tee”….should’ve been an indication I got it ……I just wanted to communicate to “Phat Daddy” staff even though I’m not hood my money just as good as the rest of the patrions that come through your doors…..LGBQT take our business elsewhere……..

When I went the bar was so packed, we were actually denied our food orders and were overlooked for 15 minutes. We simply left. Their food is great however and drinks are great....if you are able to get one.

Bartenders are over worked and under pay they dont even smile $20 to get in but good luck with getting a drink or food we had to clean the tables off with paper towels and sanitizer first and last time and I someone for help I was brush off I guess my money was not good enough for them

Where must i start! Food great. Drinks A1 will be going back on my off days! I really enjoyed myself outdoors. Music was great. And guest what? It was a sunday...overall i really liked the atmosphere.....but only thing just speed up the service..it wasnt bad but could stand a lil power up...but like most places probably shorthanded or holiday..DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK! This place had the best rib-eye steak that I have had in a long, long time. The waitress there, who hails from New York, introduced me to dipping fried okra into ranch dressing. Delicious!

Ordered online and received my food over two hours later !! And it was cold! Plus my order was not correct! I thought maybe this was a one time thing and probably would not happen again!! Welll i ordered again a few weeks later and the same thing happened! Ordered a steak salad that came with NO steak and chili that was cold and took two hours for my food to be delivered!! It sucks because the food really is good here. .

They will never see these there again $40 for what you dont get nothing to eat do nothing. If I want to spend $40 to drink Ill go to the liquor store and get me my own this place is not $40 worth to get into.

Customer Service is do not bring your emotions to work. You have to deal with all types of attitudes and personalities. Therefore smile through it all. And pray for peace to withstand all understanding. Smiling and still treating people kind when they have rubbed your ego should not have you holding a grudge. Get out of this business because it may not be for you. I always remember women are great tippers. Dont miss your bag because of your attitude. SMH!. Phat Daddys Sports Bar & Grill is really a very nice place to shoot pool and have an adult beverage. We, The Jones Gang 9, played there several times this year and have always had a good time. The pool tables are in good shape, there is plenty of room and the staff and the people there have always been friendly.

Wed night Karaoke with Jazz as well as a great wing special. Its a great time everytime. Also nice pool tables, you can always find a pickup game in there...

Best Wings in Town ....coolest manager and waiters. NO COMPLAINTS HERE! :-) Ive ordered take out and ate inside and I must say Ive never experienced what others have experienced.... If you are skeptical.... Try it for yourself ;-) *wink*

I dont how I didnt give this place a review yet. The food is so freaking good!! I have ate at this restaurant at least 7 times now. EVER time the food was amazing. We only do take out so I cant speak for the service inside but the food was 💯 every night we did take out.

I usually have fun but the heat was on way to high and despite complaints nobody corrected it. It took 20 mins for one long island and then I got bottom shelf because it made me extremely sick a few mins later. The bartender sucked.

One of the best spots in town if you want to listen to hip hop the whole time. Aint tooooooo many spots in Fayetteville doing that anymore. Trying to keep us black folk out. I get it. Its laid back too. They also have a jukebox and live DJ. So the turn up can be real at times. Its all on you.

Great food poor customer service, we sat ourselves them waited about 20min to have the bartender have the Waiter to come over to our table. Been awhile since Ive been, but Ashley was the best host an gave excellent service.

Absolutely wonderful food, the lemon pepper chicken was to die for, but the bbq chicken wings are absolutely heaven. Theyre not normal, thumb sized chicken wings but huge, great priced. Definitely recommended choice

This is my go-2 chill spot. Not to much of a huge crowd like i like. Great food, sevice and enough pool tables to enjoy yourself. I go whenever i need to wind down definitely 5 stars!!! hands down.

Service wasnt good, neither was the food. The server was more interested in trying to get our telephone number rather than serve us and see how the food was. She was thirsty for something and it sure wasnt soda.

This review is for the phat daddys in Dunn..I have never in my life tasted fish like that.... fish had no flavor... and my friend waited almost 40 min for a water and a drink. The owner L is cool but the other owner doesnt know the meaning of customer service. If I tell you that I have a problem with my food, you are to apologize and/or fix it. I used to work here and I will admit I miss it. I came in the other day and the atmosphere is the same and welcoming. Very nice atmosphere to just come in, sit back and relax, have a couple of drinks, and just chill. I miss it.

Went to watch SuperBowl 53. First time since the move from Skibo road where I was a regular. Now with that said, I do not believe the two Phat Daddys are relatable. This iteration of Phat Daddys felt drabby and the atmosphere was bad. Maybe it was the paint scheme or lighting or both. This is the cheap version. I kept looking for the ebt accepted sign. Not saying anything wrong with food stamps but there is plenty wrong with Phat Daddys.Next the sound was too loud and was not very clear and that had everyone yelling to hold a conversation. That made for a very unpleasant return visit. After the game, music was played for which the sound system was designed but it did not improve anything because the acoustics are just bad.I gave Phatt Daddys 2 🌟s, because you can play pool (billiards) but I hear there is a new place called Racks Billiard palace coming soon. So Phat Daddys is a no when it comes to sports entertainment.

Its a cool place Nice crowd parking kinda sucks when its a lot of people but over all nice place. Great local talents come to perform on Wednesdays.

Football Sunday. Walked a mile just to get there. Open sign lit. Called and they said they open at noon. It was 1217! The games were already going! Me and 4 others just left.

Wonderful food but the music is far too loud! If you want to even remotely converse with the person next you it would be better to just text them.

Everyone I come here the service is bad you wait 15-20mins before the bartender notice you to hand you a menu another 5mins to get something to drink on the table, and maybe another 15min before she comes out the back to order food, last time I visited I HAD IT AND LEFT THE MENUS ON THE TABLE AND STORMED OUT probably be a good while before I ever return

Great place to go to for drinks, pool, and food. There are plenty of TVs as well for sporting events. Can be crowded in certain days when there is a bike crowd.

The wings were good expensive but good . The pool tables are big however not clean not properly taken care of and the pool sticks are HORRIBLE broken cracked in all kind of ways . The people were pleasant.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks..its a dive bar ...what else is there to say ..The service was eh I wish there was a nice place with good music good service with a crowd of over 30 here in Fayetteville...smh

They charged us to much dang money to get in we got charged 40 for pre-entrance and then another 40 just to get in it was ridiculous the bouncer charged and at the door.... Wow will never happen again

Kitchen staff was nonexistent and it took an hour to get my food. It tasted good, but at 2pm, the wait shouldnt be that long

Had an amazing time hanging out. I did everything I wanted 2do in this 1place. I played pool, danced, ate some awesome food, and mingled and met some people

Theres adequate room for a medium crowd to sit, eat and dance... I just wish the ceiling was higher.
