Have been coming here for years with no problems. Until tonight. the dress code rule is absolutely ridiculous. My husband who was NOT wearing gym shorts was turned away because he doesnt have belt loops....but you will allow women to come in in lingerie tops and bottoms...
Used to be a fan, but management refuses to recognize Beyoncé as a country artist. When requested to play “Texas Hold ‘Em”, the DJ stated that his manager would not let him play it, and that it lost one location $3,000 in an evening, due to the song not being a country song. Can’t believe a venue that plays Ke$ha, Lil Jon, Justin Timberlake, and plenty of other non-country artists would have the audacity to not play Beyoncé during the “pop” portion of the night - a hilarious slap in the face with a poorly veiled excuse.A reflection of the clientele and management’s views on female, non-white artists. Disappointed.
I am a 24 year old LEGAL Marijuana smoker and so is my partner. although he didnt smoke prior to our night out I did about an hour and a half prior. This was Saturday night. right off the bat when we walked in they asked my partner if he just smoked to which i interrupted and said no and I explained I smoke in my car so it lingers pretty good (said the same thing last time I was there and got let in before they kicked out my cousin for wearing basketball shorts.) They accepted my answer and let us pay to get in then less than a minute later we see the bouncers following us and one by one walking past us one of them even running into me they are getting so close to us. At some point someone places a hand on my partners shoulder and ask him if he smoked AGAIN to which he said no. At this point they are all kinda circling in and I again go to explain what I did up front and the guy seemed to get upset I was even speaking to him cause he started to get rude with it and telling us how we should have sprayed at least etc. Which we did. 😂 pretty bold of them for a bunch of people who arent bulletproof in an establishment that doesnt pat people down. My thing is they could have just told us to spray or just said no to start with instead of letting us pay then following us and harassing us so we would leave. We both suffer from ptsd and thats why we even smoke to begin with. That behavior from them was absolutely unacceptable. You dont just Circle people like they are criminals for smelling like weed (or for anything for that matter unless someone is already being violent) thats how people get hurt especially when your dealing with people who suffer from ptsd. Fight or flight is a real thing and you guys dont need this job if you cant do it responsibly. Its not illegal to smell like weed and yall are NOT cops 😂 in fact the cops dont even search my car anymore when I show them my card so yall would fail at policing and thats probably why yall are bouncers instead. No wonder everyone on Google hates this establishment 😂 check your employees or risk having someone else come in and do it for you. With that 2 star rating your already well on your way 👋
Didn’t even get past the door due to a dress code only for men? One, I am not a man, two, because I can’t wear open toes sandals on a weekend? It doesn’t state anywhere on your Facebook or Website about a dress code. If it did, then I would understand. You guys are idiots for how you run your place.
Apparently when you advertise no cover on Sunday it means that you can charge 6 bucks for cover and when the guy looks at you all confused and you point over his shoulder to the sign that says no cover. He says yeah. Well they want us to charge now. Maybe change your sign? And the website and the posters all over the wall
Just moved here from Fort Worth, Texas and was extremely disappointed to find that a place with so much potential was so terrible. Accept song requests, and get rid of the pop music from the 2010s (it’s outdated & the dj is trying too hard to be like dj earworm).Don’t recommend. I hope better ownership & dj’ing comes.
Was a regular who tipped the DJ up to $100 dollars every Friday to play real line dancing songs. Had multiple groups that love the line dance and wanted to see more. However, I was told tonight by the DJ that I can no longer do line dancing after 10pm as it quotes “disrupts the flow”. Which in itself is crazy, Because we were the only ones dancing after a minute of a stupid Barbie song came on.After talking to the DJ directly, he stated that corporate wants to cater to 18-20 year olds after 10pm. So instead of having good paying customers who can drink, they would rather be a babysitting company for those under 21 years old.I will never go back and have informed over 40 other regular groups that go here and we will not be coming back. Instead we would rather make the drive to Oklahoma to dance in peace where they don’t tell you to get off the almost empty dance floor because other people might like what we’re doing. This place could have been great, but again, per the DJ they would rather cater to those who cannot purchase the one thing they serve, alcohol.I would not recommend this establishment to anyone over 21 as they are only here to babysit.
Decent club, their ID system is awful. I waited 2 hours in line after leaving to get my gf’s ID back. Plus, they make minors pay every time they enter despite stamping their wrists, and were disrespectful to the people under 21 I was with. It’s a highly inefficient system that forces hundreds of people to wait in line both when they enter and when they leave. The bartender gave me a different drink than I asked for because the outdated music they play is blasted at max volume and it’s impossible to hear anyone.EDIT: Response to owner: A decent bar should know the difference between not making it easy for minors and openly being rude/disrespectful. I was told by a supervisor at the front how little he trusted my S.O. and how he expected her to drink anyway. Seems like the only plan to fix the entry and exit is to discourage customers from coming in the first place.
The building was disgusting. The staff and bouncers were rude. They steal from you at the entrance without allowing you to return prohibited items to your car, including vapes. I would avoid this place.
Good place to hangout with friends...we went there at approx 11-11:30 and it was too crowded..if you are an indian and is not carrying your passport make sure you have passport copy along with some other id proof...they checked mine twice and then allowed me to go in...good service and security...Inside you can enjoy playing pool, dance on the floor and also you can drink as much as u want...I personally loved the place as I enjoyed too much.
If youre looking for a great place to go listen to good music dance. I have a lot of fun and people watch this in the place to be. And FYI after a couple of drinks the food is delicious
Bouncer said “open toe shoes are only allowed for women” and refused me entry. Bizarre. No wonder this place is struggling for business.
Who ever the bouncer is may just be following rules but seemed like he was targeting us because we had to wear long pants and let other people in without pants then once we were we were kicked out again for not having proper ID which we did. Screw this stupid place never going back.
When I requested the DJ play a two step he said “I don’t know what that is”! This place is awful!!! We had been there 30 mins 5 line dances and all rock songs played between 8:45pm-9:15PM WE LEFT and won’t be back. Their excuse was it was Halloween on Oct 27.And no one was on the dance floor!
Place was fun until they pulled a ‘foot loose’ on us and basically said we can’t dance the way we do which is just line dancing. If you’re looking to go line dance this is not the place for you please save your money. Trash Dj and Trash owner.
This place is more like a daycare center for under age college students than an actual country bar where adults can mingle and dance without getting stepped on or ran into on the dance floor. Not to mention the bar tender with her cottage cheese hanging out of her shorts was appalling. 🤮 I sure miss the Doc Murdock days, now that was a country bar
We had a designated driver for New Years and bouncers at whiskey 101 completely ruined our New Years. A woman approached one in our group and asked him to dance and when he wouldnt she kept harassing us when we approached the bouncers and explain to them what was going on they threw our group out even though someone in our group was sober to drive us home. I refuse to ever go here again. We did find out the reason he threw our group out instead of her was because he was sleeping with her. We are locals and have friends in this bar so it was explained to us explicitly. We will be calling management next business day. We are not a younger group and we dont get into the drama that some younger groups get into. Matter of fact we dont come here often. Glad to know we wont be coming here again. No body in our group was drunk but I do believe the woman who asked the one in our group to dance was drunk. When she was told no she kept harassing our group. That did not seem to matter to those who knew her. We will be speaking to management Monday. Thanks for ruining New Years eve.
18+ club with a decent dance floor. Go before 9 for free cover. Men $10, women $5. Some drink specials. Variety of music genres. They play music videos on a big screen. Very diverse atmosphere. Plenty of seating, smoking is all outside on the patio.
Walked in tonight COMPLETELY sober, just to be extremely rudely greeted by “how much have you had to drink tonight?” I was in a group of 4, all of us 18-20. I’m 19, and cannot drink whatsoever because of medication I take for seizures. The bouncer was incredibly rude and humiliated me in front of all of my friends and everyone else waiting to go in. I explained that I hadn’t been drinking, and asked why he thought that and he responded with “the way you look”. Like what? Keep in mind i was literally wearing a dress and a sweater with platformed tennis shoes. Nothing raunchy, nothing out of the ordinary. I explained to them my medication issue and that I couldn’t even drink if I wanted to but they took my ID anyways and made me name off every single thing on it. Your heavy set bouncer with the beard needs to find a new profession because he is incredibly rude and is very good at making people feel awful for no reason. According to the reviews I’m not the only one who feels this way too. I had another worker literally APOLOGIZE to me for the way I had been treated for absolutely no reason. I walked in completely normal like literally every other sober person in that place. Maybe your bouncers need to stop profiling innocent people. Me and all of my friends already agreed we will never ve back. There were MANY underaged minors in there beyond drunk. So maybe work on fixing the actual issue instead of just being a di*k at the bouncer desk. Thanks :)
So reading the reviews everyone seems so upset about bouncers doing there job. It’s a bar, if you can’t handle a little disrespect stay at home and drink. Bouncer deal with a lot of drunk and rude people and to them you are just another drunk person that can move along, But that’s all✌🏽
Worst bar in Fayetteville. For some reason the manger thinks that “country boys” don’t wear shorts. Well hate to brake it to you but the clothes you wear dont define who you are. What a joke of a place. Kicking someone out because they are wearing shorts???? No wonder they have a 3 star rating. Manager was terrible. Owner’s rules was what trumped everything, which we understood but the fact they rudely kicked everyone out is the problem. If you are from a Midwest small town then it’s not the place for your. If your a city boy who wears skinny jeans then it’s the place for you. Terrible establishment don’t go there.
Good verity of music styles. Lots of country and him hop. Can be crowded at times with the collage students but thats to be expected in a collage town and a club right down the road from the school. Good drinks and decent prices. No cover charge before 9pm attentive security. They do allow under 21 in and take there ID and mark hands with a X. grey for 2 step and group dancing and hip hop dancing
To be completely fair, the only reason this place gets anyone under 30 to show up is the fact they allow minors inside. This bar is so poorly run and shady ownership does nothing to change that fact. Aside from that, had a buddy with me (who was 22) get kicked out upon entry for “being too drunk” when he was completely sober. An actual 0.0 BAC. Tried to talk to the bouncer about this and was treated like there was nothing that could be done in any capacity. Guess that the entire admission process is solely in the hands of the woman reading IDs and no one’s allowed to double check anything? I’m sure ownership prays everyday that Dickson St. bars won’t start letting in under 21s
I had to call police on the bouncers for following and screaming at a drunk guy out the door. They also shoved the drunk man down on concrete multiple times where he could have easily hit his head because he could barely walk. A bouncers job is simply to deescalate situations, not verbally and physically assault customers. They are not the police. Will not be returning because this place is unsafe. All employees are on a serious power trip.
This a very fun place to go do some good old fashion dancing!!! Great people, great food and all around great place to go unwind and enjoy a good Friday night! We are SO STOKED that they are re-opening tonight!! We cant wait to go cut-a-rug and tear up that dance floor!WELCOME BACK TO SILVIZATION WHISKEY 101 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
I would say that this is the best club i’ve been to, but with the management they have i would have to disagree. I have been going there for three years since i was 19, almost every weekend and have brought so much business there. if i walk in there i instantly get greeted by atleast 6 people because everyone there loves me. i’m the type of person that try’s to make sure that there is no drama. do i love the bouncers there? yes, absolutely!! But as for the manager Dustin Hatfield he is on a power trip there. he went as far as putting his hand on me when i was dancing to the song pony on the ground, like i do every weekend. and picked me up by my hips and threw me on the other side of the floor. without telling me i did anything wrong and just walked off. everyone around that was watching was so shocked that anything like that happened. even the bouncers were shocked that he did that to me and was wondering why. then when confronted by my brother he proceeded to tell me that he was sorry he didn’t know it was me and shook my hand. and then we proceeded to have an argument about putting your hands on a girl and how it wasn’t right and it turned into something bigger than it should’ve been. long story short this was the first time that i had ever had an encounter and he band me for life. when i know dang well that there is people in there that have gotten in terrible fights and got to come back the next night, or even the next weekend. I also tried to call a month later and tell him that i was sorry that everything got blown out and asked him if i could come back because it was my 21 birthday. and he said “no we don’t associate with people that threaten our jobs”. he is talking about one of my friends saying something about an attorney because he was drunk and mad that dustin had put his hands on me for no reason at all. but then when asked in person he said it was because i wouldn’t “shut my little mouth” coming from a “man” that tried to step up to me and i had to tell him that i wasn’t scared of him so his stomach would get off of mine.I have contacted multiple bouncers and they would love to see me back at whiskey101 and they tell me to just keep asking. then i go and read the reviews about whiskey101 and how many people have complaints about the manager so i think something needs to be done about it. If anyone knows how to get ahold of the actual owners so we can all figure something out about this manager situation. It has now been 7 months and i have tried to call multiple times and even went down to try to talk to him about coming back and he tried to say that i had the whole story wrong and didn’t know what i was talking about. so if anyone knows how to get ahold of the owners of the establishment that would be awesome because i know i’m one of MANY that would love to speak to them!
This place is geared towards a 21 and under crowd. Lots of under age drunk teens and bouncers who are there for a peep show. This place used to be a place that you could go dance and enjoy yourself but not anymore.
I mean, if you arent 21, its a cool place. But when I think of club or bar, this isnt it. Unless you can do a line dance to Bruno Mars, while having old people stare, and young people laugh. Then this is it for you. Also if youd rather listen to country music, while having a bunch of 18 year old running around like children at a birthday party. Then you may be okay.No disrespect, but this isnt my scene
I do not recommend at all. someone working there was watching us and i quote “waiting 10 mins to see if you’d give in” for the underaged partier to take a sip to see if it were roofied or not then got kicked out. never go here :) you’re welcome. again worst place ever
If i could give 0 stars i would, the bouncers were so mean and we didn’t even argue. They would not let us in even though we were 18+. Bouncers were soooo mean
My friend works here. She was involved in an accident and I called to let them know she couldn’t make it into work. They told me they didn’t care and to “make sure she calls us or we don’t care” and hung up on me. I don’t know how to even begin to process this. It doesn’t matter that you may be upset with her not being able to come in due to circumstances out of her control there is never ANY reason to be so vulgar (laughing at the incident) and rude to customers.
Dont show up with just a concealed carry permit, apparently thats not an acceptable form of I.D. Nevermind the fact that youre required to have a federal background check that takes months in order to get the permit. Sure would be neat if these guys knew what identification means.
My favorite bar in NWA, been going here for 3+ years and never had an issue. i learned to two step here and have made tons of friends over the years, love it!!
No surprise with a 3 star rating lol there are way better places to spend your money and enjoy your evening! Trash staff. Dont waste your time here. Worst dance place in Fayetteville
This ppace plays whe worst music, saying they play to the older crowd,i am the older crowd. I dont want to here the old stuff i dznced to 30+ yrs ago. Even when asked they keep playing the same old 80s country... ugh
Need more mix up between dance and country music. Promote more to go on Sunday nights. Get more inside for revenue. More pool tables. Love the bean bag toss Jenga a huge hit. Sale in beer for beer pong! Some suggestions hope dont mind. Thank you for being my stress relief. The floor takes most of the blunt tho! Lol
This club was okay. Then one time I went and the worked accused me of drinking, I had not been drinking. I am under 21 and he kicked me out of the club because I looked drunk and was absolutely not. This place is disrespectful and not fun.
Dirty and not a big enough dance floor. Wish it was just a country bar and not random rap music thrown in.
Had an amazing experience with Richard at the bar took care of us and was extremely friendly recommend this place to anyone who likes have fun on the Early weekdays hours or the pact weekends, Richard made our experience above and beyond along with the DJ playing great music
Absolutely inhumane service. They forcibly removed a pregnant woman of 8 months gestation for removing her shoes.
Ugh the parking lot smell in the day is like an outhouse dont even go near it very unsanitary
0/5 if I could“Shorts aren’t allowed in this establishment unless it’s jean shorts”… what a bougie dress code for a ratchet Arkansas bar!
Fun mix of people!
Have driven there 4 times when its supposed to be open and only to find a closed bar just sad that they cant even post accurate opening times and closed days definatly poor management on their online advertising for business hours of operations
This place is awful, the dj was terrible and remixed songs that should never be remixed. Definitely will not come back.
Always a fun and exciting time getting together with friends and dancing the night away!!
Bouncers are awful (: place stinks don’t waste money
They were very socially profiling towards me, the management was awful to me.
Its good for people who arent 21 yet, because theres a bunch of them.
Play more Zach Bryan!!! Sooner rather than later!!!
First and last time going here. Plays 99% country, overpriced drinks... Would rather just drive to Ft Smith
Its my favorite place on earth besides anywhere with rollercoasters!!! ♡♡♡♡♡
Country bar....... 25% country music..... been here twice... see 10 girls total.
Good place for date night
The staff here were incredibly rude. Don’t waste your time and money.
Dancing billiards beer pong drink specials and fun fun 🤪
Lune dancing
Don’t recommend, place sucks
Nice place to play pool.
They were very rude!
I love it
It sucks to many kids
Magical
Management was terrible
Good times
Fast service

I fell in love with this place, part of me stayed in its walls. Thank you ❤
