I went to see a favorite DJ of mine and that part was awesome but i dislike places that put gratuity on drinks upfront, I actually would have tipped more than what was mandated! So this wont be a regular hang out for me.

A group of ladies and I recently visited this club, and to our surprise, its pretty neat! While not as diverse as we expected (it gives European), we had a great time. Drinks are reasonably priced and excellent, the bartenders are quick and friendly, and patrons are a little more friendlier than what youll usually find, in my opinion. We had no issues chatting it up with strangers and made a few friends. Our group was primarily black women, so we stood out, but we felt very comfortable here!The atmosphere is gorgeous, with lots of decor and beautiful lighting. The music was good - it leaned more into house and dance, but it could be different on another night. It was packed on a Saturday night, so arrive early or book a table/booth. The cover charge was $20, but for the experience, it was worth it. Make sure you have some money when you go, this place isnt for brokies.Id recommend checking this place out if you havent! Its definitely worth a few visits.

Fun atmosphere but had a rough interaction with one local who was partying too hard. My partner was shuffling and most people were friendly but one guy really killed the vibe by accusing my partner of weird things when this was our first time ever in Detroit! I had to yell to the bartender that this man was harassing us. He told us to get a security guard but due to the layout of the place it was a bit hard to get around to say hey thats the guy. We saw him leaving a little while later, just glaring at us. I hope the security did kick him out but he seemed the type to wait outside if he really wanted to. Otherwise people were cool and the bar was nice. Im spoiled by professional sound systems so bring earplugs if your ears are even a bit sensitive. Music was great and everyone else we interacted with was nice.

Amazing. The food was to die for. The dj kept the crowed on its dance feet and kept the crowd in a good vibe spirit. The staff was friendly and polite. The whole staff there was very on it about getting you your drinks and food asap. Out of all my trips visiting Michigan this was the most pleasant outing Ive had and I will revisit this place again.

I have never gone to a bar in the City of Ferndale before. I went to Boscos to meet a couple friends after work and the bouncer working the door claimed they were at capacity. I stood outside the front doors for over 30 minutes and watched him let over 20 people through the front doors who never left the bar. Everyone the bouncer let in was female or a male accompanied by a couple females.If you are at capacity that is fine, but to watch the bouncer choose who he was going to let in was irritating. After 30 minutes, I took my business to another bar down the road.

Wednesday nights are definitely for the mature folks who have a love for great music!

Cant say much but just that the concept of a dance club is weak as you cant really see the DJ and the dance floor itself is like 5x6ft area.. (perhaps get rid of all the nonsense benches in the middle outside) 🤷🏻‍♂️Also to top it off seems like it might be a common practice to add gratuity on few drinks to a single patron, so double check your receipts folks!Also, sound quality could be improved.

Paid cover just for the place to be empty. And really expensive drinks? Paid $35 after ~20% tip for 2 cranberry vodkas. left because there was no one here!! Pass

House music Saturdays one of the freshest and best places to hear new house music. So fun and really cool bringing house music further out of the city into the best area!

Came here for my 21st! Funny and kind bouncers, the staff were great, and feels like a nice environment. Gave it four stars just because its a little small and no big dance floor. Otherwise, still a great place!

They have an awesome patio!! The staff is really great and made sure that we had the best time!

When I started going out in ferndale this is where I always ended up. Cool place and has a sweet patio.

Horrible horrible service. Bartender over charged me by $60. I asked for the manager and she said the manager is busy. She said I can just give you another drink instead. Asked another bartender why would they over charge me and he stated that it’s normal we over charge people all the time that’s how we make money. It’s ridiculous how they are trying to rob people. Do not I mean do not give them any business. Dishonest people and they will rob you and steal your money.

Had a great time! The drinks were good and the staff is super friendly. All the DJs kept everyone dancing all night long. Overall great vibes!!

Nice ambiance and music. Place was empty when we went yesterday, it was 9 something so that is not shocking. Drinks are 13 or 14 dollars per, and you get them in a small plastic cup. It felt like we were getting ripped off so we only ordered one round. We wanted to eat so I asked one of the ladies there if they served food, instead of answering the question she liked at me like I was stupid, then pointed to a young guy by the front door. I think, there was a sign that said something about vegan food, and the guy had on gloves Luke he was handling food, but you couldnt see it smell any food. So the ladies that I was with asked me to go over and check out the food, but the fact that I was right at the table and I could not smell any food made us decide to pass on the food. My second time here, I have never had what I would call a bad experience, I will give them another try eventually.

So they lock you in at 1:30. My friends were trying to meet me and they wouldn’t let them in. It says they close at 2 so why are they closing doors at 1:30? Apparently they don’t like money? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Had my bday party last night, was very very disappointed. Y’all really should be ashamed for false advertising. I spent over $400 for my guest and I to enjoy the outdoor heated fun patio. That was being displayed all over social media. When we arrived it was closed off and only 600sqft of the bar was available. Nothing was compensated, another bottle wasn’t offered. My 14 guest and I had to party in a tiny corner on the bar. I should’ve just gone to Level 2 downtown Detroit. Not to mention my bday sign was brought out when I wasn’t even at the table. Just an absolute joke honestly.

Great place to dance and have some drinks. Atmosphere is nice, it reminds me of classier Necto in Ann Arbor but without the college students.

I enjoyed chilling here. It was a nice mature crowd and the Wednesday house music was on point. There is no dance floor so people dsnced wherever they found the room. I didnt like the fact that people were allowed to smoke cigars in the club. Yuck!

Nice cozy bar. Ive only experienced the Wednesday night House music gatherings. In most cases, your Wednesday night visit is surely to include serious contemplation of whether to leave now, or hanging 1 more minute. Eventually, Thursday morning, youll remember the great time, but youll also consider calling in because youre tired.

Food was good, music good, atmosphere good.

This place is awesome! Best Friday night lounge hands down. The DJ plays some great hits and they have a heated patio for winter time. Just wish it was bigger place to accommodate more people!

Came from out of town, excited to see a great house show in one of the founding cities of electronic dance music. The DJs Saturday night were top notch, and played great music, but the environment was miserable. DJs were tucked away in the corner out of view, next to an auxiliary bar, leaving no room to dance. All free space is given to VIP tables that were full of typical club douches. The environment was not classy enough to demand $9 for a well cocktail in a small plastic cup. If you like stuck up crowds of people that would rather show up fake Gucci belts more than you value good music, this is the bar for you.

That place was dead compared to the bar across the street but it was still kind of early but either way it was a disappointment when you there’s a bar with a 25 minute wait across the street and you have 2 customers. They didn’t even have soap or anything to dry your hands with in the restroom. Somebody needs to lay off the nose candy if you ask me.

I LOVE this place! Everything from the ambiance to the staff was more than we expected. They were able to accommodate our group on a super busy night and the service was beyond what we anticipated. If I could leave 6 stars I would!

Is a good place for fun.

Went on a Saturday night with my best girlfriend. Weve been craving a cool bar with a euro vibe. Good house/dance music, cool crowd and great drinks. Boscos delivered! The back deck is an amazing hidden oasis. The Lemon Drop Martini is light, refreshing but not too sweet. Friendly and prompt service. The DJ was amazing... we kept taking breaks from our conversation to say Oh my gosh, I love this song! For 2 women in their 40s we felt comfortable and not like the oldest people there. We will return!

Nice place to relax and dance for the mature crowd.

Great vibe! Great music. I was there on a Wednesday evening. Drinks a little pricey and smoking was allowed in the outside area, when no smoking signs were posted.

We made reservation here yesterday, today is Fathers day and we were looking forward to have brunch here, the place had a bar hemisphere look, wide logs seats with no cushions! Its okay, its not my favorite to sit on, at least it wasnt too busy ! However, the server came and said we have no coffee at all our machine is broken? What? Yes we couldnt find a way to fix it!!! Wow!! Okay we said we will have tea instead. We dont have tea either, we have no hot drinks period, she said...Are you kidding me? I was thinking You mean you have no way to heat water? What restaurant doesnt have a back up plan? Or what restaurant doesnt own a kettle or microwave to heat water?? We were shocked about that and very disappointed the least to say. Then my husband and I ordered Eggs Benedict, when it came it looked great until but the English muffin was so over cooked the knife couldnt cut through it? I had to pull the muffin aside and eat the remaining of the meal =( So if we never go there again, we wont miss it a bit! Too bad restaurant miss on the smallest thing that makes clients come back!!

Called...no answer. Went tonight Wednesday for House music. No one answered door and no cars in parking lot. Got there at 9:30 pm Google has them closing at 12 midnight. I also went in September...still closed.

I ordered shots of tequila and they brought out a reposado bottle and poured clear tequila.. reposado is not clear, this bar puts cheap tequila in nice top shelf bottles, serves you the cheap tequila out of these bottles and then charges you for a top shelf drink. Huge red flag. Place was dirty, had flies, and didnt care about people smoking indoors. This place will not take responsibility when they are in the wrong. Pass.

I love boscos they have great drink deals and have a dance floor inside and outside. The venue itself is cool too.

My friend an I went here last Friday, no waiting in a crazy line, easy to get drinks at the bar, an abundance of beautiful girls. We went back on Saturday an it was insane! Its a restaurant that turns into a bar, that turns into a nightclub as the night goes on. Excellent spot no matter what your looking for.

Popped in for a quick dinner to find a nearly empty establishment (one packed table). Ordered a $12 black bean burger and an IPA. Though it arrived with an overly plentiful serving of parmesan-sprinkled fries, the burger was burnt to a crisp. Had it not been for the pleasant and prompt service, this review would have been one star.

Great place with a great atmosphere! Went in for dinner and ended up staying until it transformed into a night club around 10:30. Not only was the music great...there was an astonishing number of beautiful women. Overall, service was great and i will definitely be back!

This place was unbelievably loud on Saturday night at 10:45pm. We walked in the front door, felt the pain, covered our ears, and went directly to the patio. The patio volume was slightly less obnoxious but still unbearable so we walked out. I pulled out the decibel meter app on my phone; it read 135. This is between a loud crowd at a football game and a jet engine. Terribly loud. The place was empty; I wonder why...

Went to opening Wednesday house night...I dont think they were ready for us...ran out of wine. Food was interesting...chicken wings..lamb chops and rice...ONLY..!! Nice decor just smaller.

I had a awesome time there, the food was delicious and drinks were good and affordable. They have house music every Wednesday, the crowd was mature and relaxed.

Just okay. The drinks were really expensive. The staff was pleasant enough, but not very welcoming for a bar. Had a great line up of house music DJs, though!

So gross. There were so many tiny flies covering the windows and the nearby tables. I was at a table by the window when I first noticed them and they got into my drink so I moved seats and there were still some flying around and they got into my food and the waitress didnt seem to care at all. It was one of the nastiest things Ive seen at what was supposed to be a decent restaurant.

Sketchy bouncer crew. One just pushed a drunk patron so hard they flew out the door into the pavement and hit their head hard. Law enforcement is there now.

I always have a great time. House Music DJs are amazing. Bartenders are friendly and provide good service.

Bouncer wanted $30 dollars to let us in but the group of 5 guys in front of us got in without paying because they seem to know the bouncer. Not that I care about paying a fee at the door on a weekend, but the shitty attitute from the fat bouncer is something to laugh at..not to mansion he didnt realize we are there pretty frequent.After that experience and hit or miss bad service, we decided to go to royal oak and been much happier.Dont let this place ruin your night, hit Royal Oak only 2 miles down.

The new menu for the black eagle is not pleasing... $7 each for a crostini...pass! No wonder this place is not busy at all. ALSOTheyre name has dessert lounge but they only had ONE dessert on the menu fries oreos...misleading

The WINGS are EXCELLENT. We had a great time on WED night for my cousins birthday gathering. House music, grown up mature crowd and DJs were great.

No diversity. Everyone was black. Non blacks were ignored by black bar tender. Looks like they only want black customers. One non black guy was told lie that they dont serve soft drink and only serve alcoholic drinks. Poor guy had to leave eventually.

The party is over. the place used to be lit. you know things are getting bad when they close down the woodward entrance and make you enter in back. alex boge doesnt come here anymore. enough said.

Horrible, these guys will charge ur credit a ridiculous amount and u will find out the day after u get home when u check ur online banking, and the lady will tell u there was a mistake with the credit card processing machine and they will refund but only to find out they wont do anything about it, they are fraud when it comes to credit cards, just be Carefull dont use ur CREDIT CARDS AT BOSCOS IN FERDALE

I loved / love this place but my friends didn’t always seem to enjoy. They have a new menu and we need to go back to this place for another try
