After Dark

This is one of our favorite spots to hit in Fort Wayne. But clearly a popular spot in general with the locals. Vibe is very chill during the day; night time is a different story. Come prepared to meet strangers who talk to you like they’ve known you forever.

Depending who your bartender is, the drinks can be strong but theyre still always good. Karaoke nights are always chill but a blast too. Drag nights are some of the best damn nights every time. This is one of the only places that really is 100 percentage non judgemental.Dont forget to tip your bartenders. 😗🫡

Top of the line safe space for all LGBTQIA and their allies. Music, dancing, karaoke, bingo, drag shows & brunches. You feel welcome and at home, highly recommend ❤️

Last couple times I went, the only gays were the bartender and the drag performer. One time I went, the drag performer was a cis straight woman. Is it a gay bar still when 90% of the patrons are cis white women? Can it even be considered drag if it’s just a cis straight woman singing? You can see from the reviews, too. Sad AD used to be a safe space for LGBT folks and now it’s just a spot for bachelorette parties and for straight women to take our culture.

Lovely space for lgbtq+ folks to hang out. The staff is lovely, the people who go there know theyre safe.

I absolutely LOVE this bar! Everyone there is always so welcoming. They have amazingly done drag shows never a boring one at that, and always give their all in their performances it shows and should be acknowledged so bring some tip money for them and show your love! A great place to dance, chat it up, be yourself and have a blast! During the day hours is definitely more for a nice hangout with friends to chill and talk, when it gets late things really pick up and it’s have a blast time!

When your staff and bartenders are more than happy to help a customer get through a break up. This speaks volume for a bar. This is hometown bar, and is hometown and uplifting to the max. At this time in my life I could not ask for more!

Went here with my girlfriend tonight. Its was both of our first time here and didnt know what to expect lol. Walking in it was a little dark but not scary dark. More of a nigh club feel, The bartender definitely could tell it was our first time but was super nice and made a Good vodka and cranberry, I forgot his name though ): the dance floor Iooked like it would be fun with a big crowd was very roomy and it led to a super nice outdoor smoking area. Probly one of the nicest Ive seen Ina while tbh. Little water fall wood brown finish with nice deck area. The drinks were great priced and sized . Id definitely come back here again. If your a straight guy reading this and have a bi friend or gf that wants to come here for drinks dont get scared lol. The crowd is super chill. If I had more time I woulda sang some karaoke 🎤

Came by on a Friday night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. They hosted a really wonderful drag show upstairs and some ballin karaoke downstairs. If we needed break, we stepped out onto the patio which is both lively and cozy. Bar staff was excellent, drinks were solid (yet inexpensive!), and the environment was very welcoming and fun. 10/10 would recommend.

Came here for my first time and the drinks were very affordable and strong. The drag queens gave an amazing show. Everyone was dressed up for Halloween so the vibes were immaculate. The dance floor was popping toward the end of the night. My overall experience was a solid 10/10 and I can’t wait to come back.

Always a great time at this local spot. The drinks aren’t over priced and actually taste like alcohol, go figure! The senior bar tender upstairs is the best! A great place to be yourself!

Went for a bachelorette party and the queens rocked the house! If you want entertainment, great drinks, danceable music, welcoming environment, then this is the place to go! (Shows have minimal seating so a lot of standing and dancing) Other night clubs are always cut short with fights or entry issues. There’s nothing but great vibes here and everyone can be themselves and welcomed as themselves, straight crowd welcomed right with the gay crowd! ❤️

I’m here on a random Wednesday after a movie and I’m just having a drink and it’s so chill. Not busy, but I can’t wait to come back on a Saturday for drag or Bingo. Everyone was so friendly. The bartender was so informative and the drinks were great at a good price! Interesting. Interested. I shall return. ❤️

I met some friends here who were seeing the drag show. I did not stay late enough for it, but my friends said they loved it! I did get to experience the bar, though. The drinks are cheap and strong. Bring your cash, because it is a “cash only” bar. They do have an ATM if you forget. I’ll be back for a drag show soon!

I went to this bar once with my bestfriend. But she died. I plan to go again because it the best bar Ive ever been to in fort Wayne Indiana! If you are judgemental they dont need you.I liked the people and atmosphere of this amazing bar adult fun. Thank you AFTER DARK

This was one of my favorite places to go when I lived in Fort Wayne. I was recently back for a visit after several years. What an awesome redesign! Separate rooms for dancing, drag shows, and karaoke.I do, however, really wish that their bathroom stalls had doors on them. I completely understand why they don’t, though. They must have had a few instances of patrons being inappropriate in the bathrooms.

Fort Waynes only gay bar as far as I know, this is a very fun and lively after 10:30pm or so. The drag shows are phenomenal, the hostess is hilarious and the queens are very energetic. Downstairs they also have a bear bar for you big burley men who like it hairy!

Had such a fun time for my 21st Birthday! They have drag shows on the weekends and the queens absolutely shook my world! Great vibe, great drinks, and everyone is really welcoming.

This place is an enjoyable welcoming bar that welcomes all walks of life from the younger (21 and above) to the older. From Drag shows, to bingo, stripper nights, to leather nights. There is always a little something for everyone. Come on down and enjoy yourselfs a cocktail and pizza!!

Great bar with an amazing atmosphere!

9 of us went for a Bachelorette party and had a blast! The bartender was great and the drinks were reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great and the show was amazing!

Everytime I go there the DJ is the only one dancing to his own favorite musics thats why the dance floor is always emepty. Like can they play songs that people actually like and would dance to?

This was our 1st time at the club and it was amazing! The staff was incredible on a busy night. Our only complaint was the karaoke dj who was very rude and vulgar. Other than that a great 1st experience!

One night, I went there for karaoke... A typical Monday night. I was out with a buddy of mine. He decided to buy us some shots. When we received our shots, there was a foreign object in one of the shot glasses. I asked the bartender what the foreign object could be. He told me that someone must have placed their chewed gum into the shot glass... Somehow the gum was sitting suspended in the shot though. All he could offer was that alcohol sterilizes things and he could pour another shot... Either way, the staff is disgusting.

Depends on the day, the people, who youre with. Nothing like the old days probably never get it back with the after dark. I hear its coming back, but times have changed and scenes are at best interesting.

You would Think that the old dj on the main dance floor would take direct criticism and change the music he plays.... Ive told him and a friend has told him the music he plays is HORRIBLE. His response is people are dancing. Its because they have nothing else to listen to. There would be bigger crowds longer if there was better music... with him being in his late 40s or 50s he plays old music from his time. And for the record you don t have to remix every song... and techno is NOT what the gays like....

40th anniversary celebration and closed an hour early. Did not observe the time change. Disappointing when I drive an hour and a half to get there. Puts loyal customers at risk when you close unexpectedly.

Ive been going to after dark for years and I always loved it. Great sense of community.

Great place to meet new friends and the bartender was really nice. The dragshow was great and fun. Me and my wife had a great time.

Was not impressed at all. Completely disappointed. All the reviews said great things but its an extremely small space, people are rude, and drinks were not that great. Total waste of time and money.
