Mr. Js Bar and Grill

This is a great bar!! It has a dj some nights & had local artists performing. There is a dance floor & lots of seating. There are 2 pool tables & slot machines. The staff are all really nice. We will definitely be going back.

This place is absolutely amazing! There make you feel like family! We are all a little family here! Kobe behind the bar is the most amazing person you will ever meet and get to know! Come see him and the atmosphere you won’t be disappointed

Let me just say how scandalous this bar is. I order a blt and a vodka cran. I honestly think after this experience Im almost positive they water down theyre alcohol I couldnt taste barely any alcohol and I ordered a short glass blt had 3 slices of bacon on it. I was blown away I wouldnt feed that to a kid on a kids. Meal let along an adult. I asked them if they ran out of bacon on my sandwich they said no thats just how much they put on it she then come back and tells me I was right they did run out but instead of not charging for the item they couldn properly prepare she offered me another drink thats has no alcohol in it yeah thanks for the slap in the face. Ill pay and not ever come back again. DO NOT COME HERE!

Ok so today was the beginning of car season for us and Mr. Js in Gresham was one of the venues where the event occurred today ,Mr. Js. bar with a decent menu selection of popular over priced bar food items ( burgers fries & chick strips etc)Another disappointment was I didnt see a vp machine to play on either ( not saying they dont have any I just didnt see any. Pretty sure they didnt tho)The server was nice and provided us with good service.I ordered a Ruben sandwich and was disappointed . The corned beef was dry and not enough thousand island for me.Personally I wont go back to eat there again and dont recommend the food fare but Im guessing most dont venture in for the food .If youre looking for a place with friendly staff and just drinks then this could be a place to check out .

Newer business still getting going. I have stopped in a handful of times around happy hour/early evening and only seen a handful of customers, but looking at the other pictures it gets going later at night. $2 well drinks till 7. Currently no video poker.

We got there around 8pm wasnt to busy but by 10pm it was very busy. Younger crowd with T&A showing everywhere. If thats the scene your looking for great place to go. Good food great service and the have armed security present.

Went this weekend, ordered 3 drinks and totaled to 25$ pending, after it updated it went up to 138??? Never got a receipt even though I specifically asked for one multiple times, I close my tab out after I bought my drinks and still got up charged. Tried to call the place multiple times and no response. Terrible and got ripped offUpdate: 3/6/24When to location to figure out the outrageous amount charged in my card, was told “I left my tab open” when in fact I did close my tab out. Charged me for all the drinks my buddies and I were having even though they paid on there separate cards and have card transactions. Basically said it was my fault for not closing my tab, even though I did in deed close my tab. Wouldn’t recommend to come here, unless you pay with cash so you don’t get overcharged. Been to places where the atmosphere looks more trashy and would expect this type of issues to occur, but sadly it was at a decent place. Definitely lost my business.

Walked in at 430pm on a Saturday night. 2 tables were being used and 3 patrons at the bar. 12 minutes later I walked out without being acknowledged whatsoever. I guess they have all the business they want. never going back. At least tell me youll be right with me.

So I have been driving by this place for years and meaning to give it try because for the longest time they had this freeHors doeuvres for happy hour sign outside. I finally got a chance to go in there and I noticed that there was no more sign that mentioned free hors doeuvres! I would have given 6 stars if they still had free Hors doeuvres.Anyway. The staff was super friendly, even the cook! The atmosphere is weird because it feels like a strip mall nightclub that poses as a dive bar during the day, or maybe its the other way around, cant tell. Or maybe its both...I digress.Whatever its supposed to be, I like it enough to go back even though they dont have no freeHors doeuvres.Good food, GREAT staff, good happy hour drink specials, ok atmosphere.... Ill go back.

Cant say anything about this place cause at 9:15 on Monday, still not open. There is a big sign out front that says open 9 AM breakfast and lunch.......but doesnt even look like there is anyone in there at all.. oh well, now i know not to bother driving here again.

Everyone was so nice and caring, their Mac and cheese was so delicious. Their drinks are amazingly priced. The bartender Haven is too cool.Sincerely a wonderful experience for real,Thanks!

The drinks are a little spendy but, the food is awesome. And the ppl that work there are very friendly.

If your not a regular you arent welcomed here. And have to pay in advance. Ordered French dip and it was a small portion for $10 and additional $2 for onion rings. Not worth the price at all. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Great music, great happy hour crowd! Haven (one of the bartenders) really brings some energy to this place if you get the chance to grab a drink from her and hangout youll have a blast

I think they thought I was too drunk and the owner told me $15 then swiped my card and I saw a charge of $25 then later the next day the total is changed to $29.Won’t be back here, and I’ll make sure I spread the word. Or just don’t use your card cus they’ll steal from you

What a fun place to have drinks, get a bite, play pool and sing karaoke! I just love the atmosphere ! It was decorated quite nicely! Although I wasnt there for happy hour, the happy hour prices are outrageously good!! Im going back!

Bar staff was amazing. They even have my favorite adult beverage. Advertise Karaoke at 8 pm. KJ shows up after 8 pm...and over drives the system and the computer crashes. No karaoke...bc KJ hasnt planned for equipment failure. And as far as the Best Karaoke. Still searching...Hes not it. Too much bass, distorted sound.

Feel like this bar is alienating a HUGE customer base by not allowing rap music. “Rap music promotes violence” that is not only insanely offensive, but flat out racist. If you want the bar to be whites only atleast hang up a sign in the window. This bar only plays country music. Please advertise it as a country bar so I can avoid it. If you think rap music promotes violence hire more security. The atmosphere is terrible. If you wanna have a good time go somewhere else. This is a Boomer bar

1st time in Mr.Js ordered a Meyers Rum and diet coke tall. Blonde bartender first trys to pour well rum . I correct her and point out the Meyers bottle. She then short pours less than 1/2 shot. Tells me 5 dollars. I give her a ten. She put change in tip bucket. I tell her that wasnt a tip. So she gives me 1 dollar back. I questioned her, she rolled her eyes. Iput the drink on the bar and left. Not wanting to cause a scene. Very unprofessional service. Would never recommend this establishment. I work in the industry so it pains me to write a review like this. I will return tomorrow to speak to management. Hopefully they will change my mind.

The atmosphere was good, but the service wasnt the best. Made the wrong drink and they werent the friendliest. Might have just been the night we were there.

The Food tasted like a reheated BigMac, the Bartender took away half full drinks and in the end it was not even free refill and they charged us $4 for each glass of ice with a little softdrink in itI feel scammed after this visitwould not recommend the place

Stopped in hoping to feel a resemblance of what the place used to be. Instead its much more hectic, a much more rowdy crowd, and a less attentive staff. I gave the place the benefit of the doubt, but after multiple trips and finally being held out because of my backpack (I walk everywhere), I will not be returning. As a former regular, I wish them well, its just not the spot for me

Pool tables dont work, dont honor the prices that are listed on the door for happy hour and they raised all their prices. Not worth going back.

Over price on food not that great. One drink I ordered was pretty bad. Totally dead on a Saturday night.

I ordered the steak sandwich and it only had texas toast with the steak and nothing else. sadly the best part of the meal was the texas toast. the steak was the grossest steak i had ever eaten.

Food was good, drinks were great. Prices even better. Felt very safe knowing they had security. Everyone was very nice.
