Great view and access to the beach, nice servers and overall atmosphere. Only downsides were the wings that had great flavor but were dry and skinny and the chips that were stale. Also the salsa tasted like it was store bought. Quality of the food matches the cheap prices but it’s a good place for a quick bite and nice view.
The Dock is by far one of my favorite spots on Pensacola Beach! Placed in the best spot, with good priced drinks and great options for food :) Went in and the service was great from start to finish, so we drank some margaritas on special and enjoyed the view for a while. Can’t recommend them enough and I can’t wait to go back. Get the crab cakes for sure
Wanted to stop in to get out of the sun and can across this great establishment. We sat facing the beach with the breeze coming in off the ocean. The staff were warm and inviting. We ordered a margarita and Bloody Mary which was the special drink of the day. Also got the fried pickles. Fast service with our drinks and food. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Food was perfect for the beach. We thought we found a great spot until the check came. That’s when we realized they charge for cups of ice water, for paying with a credit card and separate the liquor tax on top of it, all without communication from the wait staff BEFORE you place your order. We’ve been to a bunch of restaurants in Pensacola and this was a first. Truly a shame because we really like it.
This place is on the beach, so its a great location if thats why youre there. The food is fine and so are the drinks, but its nothing wildly impressive. The bartender was honestly pretty rude, and we had to go up to order food and drinks because a server never came to our table. We played a little pool, but they dont have chalk and the cues are pretty mediocre, so we got pretty frustrated missing shots wed normally make.
Avoid the burger. So dry they could be hockey pucks. Ultimate nachos with chicken is a good choice. Nice view. Service can be a little slow. Shouldnt take 45 to an hour for food no matter how busy. Servers are nice though.
The waitress was very knowledgeable on what kind of fish the catch of the day was. The grouper was actually grouper! and not tilapia or any of the other fish people try to pass off as grouper. The shrimp were wonderful. Thank you Dock employees for a great experience every time we visit you guys! Oh and you are sitting right on the beach while you dine. Just saying
I just wanted to acknowledge two ladies who were absolutely amazing!!! Went out to the beach for the first time in a long time, and was greeted as soon as I sat down. Was asked if I would like anything and to “holler” if I decided on anything. Robyn was amazing behind the bar, super sweet, funny and stayed smiling even while super busy due to bands on the beach. When the bar was busy, Cassandra helped out with anything we needed and was also super sweet and helpful! These two alone would definitely be a reason for me to come back!! If you decide to give it a try, their burgers and fried pickles are amazing, and Robyn & Cassandra are definitely two to see while you’re there!! 10/10
Their kitchen closes at random times. We were never able to eat there. Drinks were okay. The bartender only cared if you were young and attractive. Took forever to get service. Would not go back.
Today was an interesting day of unsympathetic compassion for there elderly patrons.Yes it is 4th if July weekend and parking is near impossible. My momma is 93, and this would have been her 74 wedding anniversary. So we decided to take her to a beach restaurant and bar. I dropped off my brother and our mom and I was looking for a place to park, as many people were searching as well. After an hour my brother calls and after I tell him the dilemma, he said just come pick us up.Its one way traffic in the parking lot, 2 lanes. She always gets in on the passenger side. As I come up to the Docks, I can see my brother pushing my mother on her chair. The restaurant is on driver side. So I pull into beach access drive in front of the docks. Making it easier for my 93 year old momma to get in vehicle. No one around and novehicles. I am out of van. Have her door open, little stool at the door for her to step on. Momma and brother are 20 feet away. Employee tells me I have to move. Retrospect I should have stayed and told him to kick rocks. But I moved, got my momma in van and after I get mom in van, turned around, my brother was layed out on the one way, on his back in middle of 2 lane drive. From the time I pulled in and backed out, my brother had contacted managers and beach police, no on used the drive I was asked to back out of.So if you are retired militaryRetired school teacherOr 93 years old.Find a respectful place to ear. This isnt for Gen X.
Just wanted to let you know when I go to the beach for lunch its between flounders or the dock. we pick the dock. great girls Lexi is a great person love her personality . great food and the prices cant be beat.
Dont go here. Lots of places to go that appreciate clients around there. They dont take feedback well either. They didnt inform they charged a dollar for each ice water and have a sir charge for credit cards. I would pay these amounts but I like to be told about it ahead of time. Its common curtesy, in my opinion.Food was OK for a quick meal and the price for the location was expected. I have tried the stand next door but looks to be a better value.
Waited 20 mins to have our order taken. In that time 2 servers walked right by our table, while another one flirted with a customer the entire time. We finally got service after the outside bartender got someone to help us.Asked our server for our check twice and waited another 20mins for it to arrive by another server. Definitely wont return.
First time here, arrived at 10am, played pool, then tried to place an order at 1050. Bartender acted like shed never seen us.SUPER SLOW OR SHORT HANDED servers. Super rude and we really liked this place. Will NOT come back. And btw, we never even ordered food bc they were so rude.
Great place super. Super friendly. Right on the beach. Our waitress Tiffany was on the money. With drinks food and a huge smile. Serving a family of 4 adults. And 4 kids from 11 to 16 is never easy. The food was awsome. Burgers were real meat patties not frozen. Fish tacos were yummie and oh yeah fried grouper. Soo good... must stop in ask for Tiffany to serve you and enjoy a day at the beach
Drinks were good eith lots of fun frozen drink options. Service was a bit slow. And the inside bar was ungodly hot. Bathrooms were disgusting. Id only go back here to grab a frozen drink to go.
I don’t even know our waitresses name, she didn’t tell us but she was super rude. To the point where I was shocked thinking that was ballsy considering she works for tips. Well they automatically added 20% gratuity for our family of 5. They charged us for tap water. They also charged $5.00 for credit card usage. The food was not good at all. I would never go back here.
Ate there for the 2nd time and everything was great once again. This time we had the jalapeño poppers, pulled pork sandwich, and crab cakes. Our waitress, Lexi, was amazing and full of great personality! We will be back again.
The dock is right on Pensacola Beach and offers beach goers cold, refreshing drinks, a food menu and live entertainment. The hours of operation are from 10am to 2am every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Please tip them well. Features include a Tiki bar in an outdoor setting under an arbor, indoor bar, indoor seating, pool tables, dance floor, DJ booth, live entertainment and beachside outdoor dining under cover offering shade. The beachside also has showers available to rinse off the beach sand.
Katie and Erica are the best !!! Always friendly and attentive. Even when busy! It was disappointing service from Robin whom just clocked in. I hope she doesn’t treat all of her customers that way, maybe just a bad day. We come back again and again for katie and Erica type service ! Thanks again! Great drinks 💕
I have been going to the dock since 2018 & have had the best time each and every time. Ladies night is on Wednesdays and well worth it. Great music, good environment. Lovely scenery. Good drinks always on point. They do serve food but its a lunch only currently,.kitchen closes after lunch time is over but if youre looking for a chill place to have a couple drinks this would be my recommendation. Pool tables are available also, dance floor, a few arcade games etc. Friendly staff. Will return again soon enough.
Always a great time here! You can come by for a cold beer and great view or have a quick lunch. It’s also a great place to bring friends for a fun night out. The view is the best part though(that goes for anywhere on the beach, you just can’t beat that beautiful emerald coast) so no matter what the occasion docks is always a solid choice. Been a favorite for over 20 years.
The two women that were working Monday afternoon were absolutely rude. There’s a girl who looks like she had too much lip filler that was saying “I see you I only have two hands I’ll get to you when I can” when my friend and I were just standing there the whole time didn’t say anything to her nor did we try to wave her down or anything. We know how it goes at a bar and we were giving her time to get to use we were just chilling. I’ve come here a lot and never once experienced a problem with a bartender at that. Then when she finally proceeds to walk up to us she says “just so you know y’all would have got served a lot quicker if you were over there but anyways what can I get you?” Just being rude so yes I threw my Id at her because that was the second time for no apparent reason she was being rude to my friend and I. It escalated and her little friend got involved and told us she was going to call the cops on us if we didn’t leave AS WE WERE WALKING AWAY. Please feel free to watch the video footage of this whole incident because it was quite ridiculous for her to be acting like that. Maybe bartending isn’t for her, my mothers done it her whole life and never once treated someone like that at her job that was not even causing any problems. I won’t be coming back here and I know the immediate thought is “one person won’t hurt this business” but word gets around pretty quick. Bamboo Willie’s took care of us 20 mins after this incident perfectly fine. Do better :)) you’re on the clock girly get a grip.Edit: I like how you guys always try to be petty with your responses. If you took the time out of your day to actually go watch the footage you would see that I did not physically throw it at her I tossed it on the table in front of her. Funny how you previously listed a number for me to contact the GM which I did and no response, and now you’ve changed your whole response all together. Y’all are some characters for sure lmao
Always my fist stop when Im going to the beach. Best bushwackers, best view of the beach, and the bartenders arent to bad to look at either. Cameron, Katie, Ericka , or Anna are all great long term bartenders to ask for!!
Great beachside spot to grab a mixed drink when all you brought was beer to the beach 😆$16 for 3 mixed drinks is a win for me! Hung out at the bar while enjoying our beverages & took in the views 🏖☀️ Loved the 90s jams they were playing 👌 but seems like it can quickly turn into the perfect dance/ beach club for a younger crowd after hours. We intend to return for drinks & food, which we hear is pretty good!
Went here Saturday while hanging out on Pensacola Beach. I must say the patrons and staff were very nice. Me and my Wife were sitting on the beach not far from here, and decided to try. I wanted fish and fries, and I must say the fish was light and fluffy, but was missing something. The fries were good, but had got cold quickly, probably because the waitress told me 15 minutes, and it was done quicker. The service was quick from when I placed the order. The hush puppies were a lil hard.
Food was just ok, Drinks were weak and they charged us $1.00 for water out the tap. Other than a very good waitress experience was mediocre.
Great food, not crazy expensive like other places on the beach. The bushwackers are extremely good and a fun place to hangout, enjoy the views, and hide from the hot sun!
For a on the beach bar/restaurant establishment, this place is truly amazing and awesome. Open view of ocean just fabulous. Food and drinks were reasonable. You done have to take out a mortgage to eat here. Our food was great. Try the fish basket. 🐟 if you like fish. Lots and lots of beer and island drinks to choose from. You cant go wrong here.
Awesome place my friend and I had drinks also the bartender was very pleasant will be back again for the food the only thing was I order a margaritas and it was very small and cost me and arm and a leg for that drink lol
OMG! My girlfriend and I went to the dock recently and I have to say the atmosphere is PHENOMENAL! Best view on the beach I don’t care what anybody says🙅🏼♂️ the margs are so gooooood and Cheyanne was the best! 1000/10 would recommend!
Gave a 3 star for food due to not ordering any. All other areas of this place are awesome. Great music, drinks, and atmosphere.
Burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and drinks directly on the beach. The Dock is the perfect spot for lunch while enjoying a beach day. We ate here several times since the food was good and prices were fairly inexpensive given the location. Our favorite was the Dock Dog- a chili cheese hot dog with fries. At $7.50, you cant beat it! They also offer a bar with lots of different options from beer to frozen drinks.
Went with my wife one day after hanging out on the beach and we ordered a fish po boy. It came out and it was just two fish sticks on bread. When we asked to send it back and get something else, they said they would take it back but that we still had to pay for it. We told them we would not be paying for anything we were not eating so they called the police on us. Will never give the dock another dollar of my business and tell everyone else not to as well.
Love going to the dock for lunch with my wife Claire is a great server, great attitude, love the prices. your cooks know have to cook great food
My dad and I went to Pensacola to watch my brother graduate from AIT, we stayed there for a week. We had drinks and food at numerous places, but there was something about The Dock that caused us to end up back there every day. Super friendly environment, super relaxed, great servers and bartenders. We were comfortable there, and I highly recommend it; especially if you are wanting a super casual, inviting environment to hang out in. The view of the beach and closeness to the water is also a major plus.
If you are into dive bars, bad service and questionable sanitation...this is the place for you. Limited beer selection, served in thin plastic cups. And no specialty drink options, which I found odd for a beach bar. My wife saw a woman in the ladys restroom without shoes. I really hope she was up to date on all her shots. If she was an anti-vaxxer...... game over.People watching from the beach side bar was entertaining and is worth at least 3 stars. Lots of drunk folks falling over...worth a good laugh. We were disappointed that the drunk woman who tried to steal the lifeguards quad didnt get very far. Luckily for the kids on the beach, I dont think the lifeguards left the keys in it.The highlight of our visit was when a patron pushed a waitress. Several other customers tackled him and made a citizens arrest until the cops showed up.The Dock did not disappoint in the excitement department, but do yourself a favor and go next door to Crabs. Better drinks, better service and none of the drama associated with the Dock.
Didn’t eat, we just went for some late night drinks. Bar tender was super friendly and drinks were priced fair for the beach. We went when the beach was out of season, but plan to return in season. Great dive!
Didnt try the food .. but definitely a stereotypical beachfront dive bar. Amazing service, amazing views of the Gulf. I loved it.
We were enjoying the beach and it was very nice to just walk in and grap some food. We split a shrimp po boy and fries and it was delicious especially the fries. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend this place.
The Dock is right on the sugar-white sand of Pensacola Beach. One of Floridas Great Beach Bars!Ask for Amanda a friendly fun server with an accounting degree!Try the handmade BBQ, Cheddar, and Bacon BurgerThe outside of The Dock is rustic and beachy. DJs spin Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights. As well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons.Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and drinks are 2 for 1 during this timeframe..You can rent scooters or buy beach balls and other sand toys at this Florida beach bar.
Forgot to snap a pic of the nachos, but they were really good. My husband got a beer, and I got a pina colada. I couldnt taste any alcohol at all in my pina colada. I almost ordered a shot of rum to stir in. Also, it was VERY thick, like McDonalds shake thick. This place is right on Pensacola Beach, and I would 100% definitely go back, but I would order a different drink.
The worst food! the staff was smoking Instead of working they are rude and inconsiderate that we had are kids with us. She maid us out to be an inconvenience for her do not recommend
The band was great. Just stopped in for one drink but stayed for more because the band was so good!
One of the worst experiences I have ever encountered at the beach in all of my years of living in Pensacola. The customer service was terrible even the manger was terrible with communication and lied. I will never visit this establishment again.
The rudest staff I have ever encountered. Everything that could have been bad about this restaurant was bad. The food was mediocre at best (tasted like microwaved frozen meals). The portions were incredibly small and overpriced. We got a spinach and artichoke dip and we were served a huge container with only 6 chips. The waitress refused to get us anymore chips and the manager was asked to come to the table. He was EXTREMELY unprofessional. Yelled and made a huge scene. Told us if we wanted more chips we would have to pay for a whole other entree. He then proceeded to give us counterfeit change. Do not waste your money. Staff should not get away with this sort of treatment and fraud.
Service was outstanding! Drinks were fantastic will be back!
I came in over the weekend and ordered the bacon bbq burger and some jalapeno poppers and it was good 😅 Niina was so kind and her customer service was great I would recommend this restaurant.
I have always enjoyed coming here for the food and drinks, but today I had a wonderful time getting to know Katie! She’s a fantastic bartender and knows her stuff! Shes very professional and friendly and has a good balance of being able to chat and take care of all her customers!! Come in and ask for her!!!
The food was great. But the restroom maintenance was not up to the mark and the service was a bit late.
Good beachfront bar/restaurant. Ultimate nachos had good potential but were served cold.
Didnt get to even order , the bartender was too busy with 1 customer for 10 minutes ..... guess Ill find a new place to go from now on
Took over an hour to get our food and our waitress was rude. Don’t recommend going to the dock
Great spot right on the beach without the right-on-the-beach prices. Super good fries, kids loved the tenders and the burger wasn’t dry. Great to also walk up and grab a shot while passing through. Would definitely go back for a round or 2 of pool.
This place was good. The bartender was really cool and helpful. The hurricane was good. It was served in a plastic cup so it wasnt anything fancy but thats okay since its on the beach and the plastic cup was easy to throw away. It was pricey, but I suppose all bars are down on the water.
I am a Nashville girl, where the service industry is truly that pure southern kindness! I’ve been coming to Pensacola almost monthly for about 20 years. Tonight I visited the Dock, and this tiny beach spot has everything you would expect. The beach flare, live music, typical drinks. However the bar tender Cam, truly added something special to this place. A bit of southern charm, charisma, and simply.. kindness.Don’t get me wrong, most of Pensacola’s service industry is extremely welcoming. But this experience hit different. Thank you Dock and Cam for giving me a little extra sincerity before heading back home!Good people, create great businesses!
Service was amazing, they have some kind of drink specials pretty much every day. I shared Nachos with my wife, they were very good. Great views.
As the same as other reviews...no one greets you...they just let you walk around looking lost...I finally asked the tiny bartender (who had stepped out of the outside deck bar into the restaurant to smoke her cigarette) for a table for 1, she turned her head to blow out smoke and apologized (lol), then told me to sit anywhere I like. A server did come over and asked if I was OK, I said I needed to order. She was very nice and gave me good service. The fries were really good but you could tell the chicken on my sandwich was a frozen precooked breast...very dry.
It’s a chill, casual spot with excellent ocean/beach views. Staff is nice… service is a bit slow. I loved the frozen margarita! Food-wise: There are a bunch of bar snacks, but nothing that will make you go “wow!”
Sat and waited for over 30 minutes to even be acknowledged. Once the waitress came over she said I can get you drinks, but no food. It was 6:25 pm and we were fully aware the kitchen closed at 7 pm, which is why we arrived early.
Last Saturday, I traveled to Pensacola Beach for a quick weekend getaway which included attending Taste of the Beach. I decided to walk the Board Walk and came across The Dock which seemed to be a good place for lunch at 11am. It was not crowded, sat at a beachside bench and immediately reviewed menu. I waited and waited but one female server walked by several times, checking on tables, but never acknowledged me. I decided after 20 minutes to leave. Walked around for a bit then decided to give The Dock another try. This time entering through the front, instead of beachside, and asked the bartender if this is a seat yourself restaurant. She said, yes, sit at any table with menu and server will be right with you. This time, I sat at bench facing beach. The same female server walked by several times. I finally got her attention and said, I have been seated here for a while. Her reply was just holler at me and there is a festival going on down there if you are hungry!. That rude reply could have quickly prompted me to ask to speak to a manager or leave. She realized that I was not giving her the same rude energy or leaving and asked if I decided on beverage and meal. While waiting for meal, I asked the woman who sat next to me if she was familiar with this restaurant and proceeded to explain what just occurred. She said she was not defending server but she must have been having a bad day since it was an Event weekend, that best time to dine there is during the week. I did not agree with her explanation. As a matter of fact, it was not busy that early and Event weekend should be when the best service is given because it is additional revenue maker for adjacent businesses and restaurants. Server returned with order and was pleasant after the first encounter but the damage was already done by her rude statements. A couple walked in from beachside, sat besideus, and that same server acknowledged them within 5 minutes by introducing herself as Miranda I will be your server today. What can I get you to drink?. The food tasted like frozen meal warmed up in microwave and did not match its price point. Rude server (Miranda) and mediocre food sums up first and last dining experience at The Dock. The beachside view is only reason for more than 1 star.
Went for Easter today and had the best experience! I believe our servers name was Trish. She was so kind, calm, and attentive to us the entire time. She really made us feel welcome at The Dock! Cannot recommend this place enough, especially for the service and friendly staff!
Great place. A bit breezy but the food was wonderful. Had chicken quesodila
First time there. Actually, ate at Flounders. It was delicious the headed to the doc for a bushwackers.
Stopped by while passing through town. Needed a beer and a view. Ordered the grouper bites just because. Good food, cold beer, and reasonable prices. Right on the beach too.
We tried to eat here because we already at Crabs. The restaurant was very empty; I tried talking to several staff members and no one would make eye contact or acknowledge that I was wanting to speak with them. I even waited at the inside bar as one of the waitresses was talking to the bartender. She got a couple drinks then they both walked away from me. I guess that’s why no one was eating here. We walked next door to Crabs and had the best lunch (again).
Great place to enjoy the beach life, open back area right on the gulf , fantastic food and drinks. Especially their Bushwackers. Live music at night. Super casual and very worth it to hangout a but and enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere.
Good place for cold drinks on the beach.
Only had time for a quick lunch while passing through Pensacola Beach and was lucky enough to find The Dock. Amazing grouper sandwich and beach view. The bartender, Katie, made sure I was well taken care of. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately this place is only good if youre white. If we choose to only give service to selected people and dont escalate aggressors I dont think anyone should eat here comfortably its a shame in 2023 that everyone cant even eat a meal in peace without being treated a certain way because of the color of your skin. Just disgusting
The Dock is a nice bar in Pensacola. It is a pretty big spot. There are pool tables, as well as a dance floor. Theres plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Kids are welcome, at least during the day 😁. For sure a good choice if youre in Pensacola Beach.
The HAMBURGERS! The VIEW! What? And the PRICE! Everything was GREAT. I dont know if it was the long drive from the mountains and we were so excited th be there or what!?! Got a seat fast they were almost full. The seats can be wet from the beach goers but the wait staff were nice and quick. The food was quick. I tried not to give it 5 stars but we enjoyed it. Why not? The spot is hopping. The parking was not to bad for being right on the beach 😎. Had some games. Pool tables, pinball and what looks like a stage for live music. The bar was easy access from the beach. People coming and going from the beach. This will be our first option for quick good meal in future outings. Not fine dinning but great place.
Awesome place! My family enjoyed this spot alot!
Our server was Jade! She was excellent! The bloody Mary’s were spicy and delicious. Our fried pickles were perfection. The scenery was ever better being right on the beach and you can just walk up. I also got a mango margarita frozen drink and it was one of the best ones I’ve had!
Everything about this place is awesome! Drink were delicious 🍾. Food was great and cam out quick! Despite the place being packed, we received amazing and friendly service! 10/10 recommendations!!
⚠️WARNING: DO NOT ASK FOR EXTRA PEETA BREAD⚠️would give this zero stars if I could, I would never eat here again, no not because of the ant sized small portions with human sized prices but instead becasue of the fact that the management is so horrible. we asked for extra peeta bread (because there was only 6 peeta bread triangles provided to us) with our spinach and artichoke dip and the waitress came back and said “no, there’s no button”. we asked if she could get someone who knew how to imput it into their computer and she came back with a VOLATILE manager that yelled that we would have to buy another $11 dip to get any more peeta chips once again becasue “there was no button”. when we said that this was ridiculous he then yelled at us threatening to have us arrested for “not paying” while screaming insults and obscenities at us. we had already payed our full bills and were willing to give them cash for extra peeta bread. he also gave us very clearly fake money for change and when we brought it up he said “first of all I didn’t give you anything” when we asked who was in charge of this establishment he then went to the back after yelling some more and brought back more fake money… something suspicious is going on here for sure….
Waited 15-20 minutes, and no one ever waited on use. Was right by the bar. It was not busy at all, maybe 10 people inside. One staff member was moving chairs around like it was the hardest job in the place. The next trip will not waste our time stopping
The worst service I have ever had! Each year go back and nothing changes. Restrooms are terrible! Men if you like to piss in ice that’s the place. Women’s bathroom stinks! Dirty dirty dirty! Don’t blame understaffed because all the bartender was doing was talking to the one customer at the bar beside us.
Not impressed. We went about 10:40 and the staff were standing around talking. We were never acknowledged. I finally chased down someone and was told Oh, the kitchen doesnt open until 11. Why not greet guests entering and offer them a drink until lunch? That makes good business sense. The food was high and bland. According to my bill, I paid extra taxes for being at the beach. I have lived here all my life, got charged because I ordered water, paid extra for being at the beach eating tourist trap food. Dont waste your time.
Seems like it might have been a fun atmosphere if anyone would have waited on us. We sat at a table next to the bar for close to 10 minutes. Never had anyone greet us or ask if anyone was taking care of us. No one even looked our direction until we got up to leave. Even then, it was a quick glance and nothing else.
Great atmosphere with the friendliest staff we have found on the beach. Great gulf view, excellent daiquiri choices , and the food is good and reasonably priced .Recommend and will be going back .
This is always a fun place to be with a great athmosphere, however the service is usually lacking and the food isnt anything amazing. Their shots are very expensive but otherwise they are priced pretty well. I love their daquiris, they are extremely shlushy and filling, probably not everyones cup of tea but they have plenty of other good drink options.
Amazing place right in the beach to get, what I think, is the best bushwacker I’m Pensacola. The atmosphere is amazing. The views breathtaking. And most of all the ambiance. A great place to get work done if you can stop people watching. A must visit.
The place looked really cool but our food was cold, the condiment packs of mayo was swollen, the waitress was all over the place and served my kids rancid tea. Overall bad experience
This bar is right on the beach. It has wooden table and chairs. It has a rustic feel. Sand is welcome! There is a bar outside and inside. The employees were nice. Parking is ample because you have the large beach parking lot. They have food but I didnt get any. There was a place for a band to play.
Was not too impressed with their food, but their drinks and location are to die for. Cant beat the laid back decor to accompany the feeling of being on vacation mode while sipping a great drink. Service was great
We are here as the place we originally wanted to go had a closed kitchen. It was alright. Hamburger was burned, but still edible. Hot dog was gigantic. It’s right on Pensacola Beach, so it’s super convenient.
The mozzarella sticks were amazing! Food was good! Pricey but thats okay. Long wait time but the view of the beach was worth it!
Arrived to the restaurant and were told to seat ourselves, we sit down and wait 45 minutes watching these two blonde chicks serve everybody around us including groups bigger than us and that arrived later than us. They see us and walk past us multiple times. Then 45 minutes waiting to be served they finally approach us to let us know there would be an hour and a half wait on any food ( they didnt tell anybody else that). Ridiculous, 45 minutes wasted they shouldve just had the wait posted outside. I hope the blonde gets fired soon, terrible service. 2:45pm 4/7/23
Wonderful spot right on the beach! Pricing is quite affordable and great quality. Solid portions as well. The dock burger is insane, red Robin has nothing on this place, big fan and couldnt recommend it enough! Waitress was super friendly and answered every question we had, just a great experience easy five stars
The best Club on the Beach. Been going to this club on occasion since the early 90s. Great view of the ocean and beach during the day. The Hangover Burger and the Shrimp Po Boys are excellent. Great tasting frozen drinks and any brand of beer your heart desires. This club has always booked the best Bands, playing great tunes to dance to. Nothing bad to say about The Dock. Lots of gorgeous women at The Dock every weekend.. Its the best!
Great location, apps were great, and Miranda our server was outstanding. Her personality made the visit even better.
We went after lunch on a friday and it was really nice vibe wise.. However our bartender/waitress wasnt the best. We waited awhile for a drink order, my husband got his after a wait and I had to ask 3 different times for a water.. Another person even walked out after waiting for so long. My dock dog was cold, chili and all.. So when I asked for a warm one they just heated the one I took a small bite out of and put it on the plate really sloppy. My husbands chicken was super dry and we never received the ketchup we asked for. The lady never asked how anything was or if we needed anything at any point, it was just as we could catch her (she talked with another girl from the kitchen most of the time). The only time she came was mid meal when she stated she needed our card because people have been walking out. I ended up not eating and paying for the reheated hot dog.. Went to sonic afterwards which sort of defeated the purpose of going to a nice place. We probably wouldnt go here again as we had high hopes from the atmosphere initially. You can pay the same price for better service and food elsewhere. I dont think we have ever had such terrible service before.
Went here for a bite to eat while we were at the beach waiting for the Blue Angels Air Show to start. While there’s not a lot to the menu, the food was really good and pretty reasonably priced (we’re from the northeast, so $11 for chicken tenders and fries is a bargain to us).The only negative was that we placed a to go order and the server apparently forgot to place it. We weren’t in a hurry, so no big deal, which is the reason I’m still giving 5 stars. Tip: Bring your wallet. They do accept Apple Pay and Google Pay, but they ask that you leave a card or ID to start a tab for the order- I just had to follow the server to the bar with my phone.
Casual bar on the beach. I did not eat.
We had a wonderful overall experience here! The food was delicious and not too bad price considering the location. We had nachos, which were not hard to chew and were loaded with flavor! Our server was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is out of this world! It is directly on the beach!
This was my first time at The Dock. Food was great, drinks were great, and service was even better. Even in a busy and chaotic environment, my server, Trish went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed.
Bar was good till the bartender got overwhelmed as it got busy so she decided to get an attitude with us.Served my party and I till she got too busy to serve us.Hire more staff maybe new clients will want to return.
Friday October 29th had a GREAT BAND AND HORN SET!!! IT WAS SO HIGH ENERGY EVERYONE ENJOYING IT!!! There were artists painting during the show, which were really cool to watch! Drinks were not too expensive and the restroom was clean. Just outside was the ocean and the breeze flowing through was comfortable. The male bartender was mediocre, he obviously did not want to be there and made it clear by staying on his phone when he only had 5 ppl sitting at the bar. Someone else had to tell him we were standing at the empty bar. He came right over and was a jerk, rude, snide and glaring. Left immediately after that but otherwise it was a fun place.
You have to try the Chips and Salsa! They are amazing! We have eaten here several times and everything has been tasted good! Tiffany was our waitress and did an absolutely perfect job, great food recommendations, and fast service!
I stopped here while on vacation, friendly staff and cold beer, bartender was a lovely lady who was really busy but made time for a quick chat. Didn’t eat but the folks around me devoured wings and potatoes like there was no tomorrow.
Great little dive bar right on the beach, nothing fancy, but darned good Long Island Iced Tea for $5 on the right day (I think it was Tuesday)(same cocktail was $8 other time we went); we didnt get any food (kitchen closes early in off-season) but menu was super cheap, especially for beach front, like burgers and sandwiches in the $11-$12 range.
Love this spot on the beach! Staff is amazing and drinks are SO good! Love that its open air and you get a gorgeous view. Will definitely be back!
Yes this is very old but that is for a reason how old it is makes it even better
Came to this place and they only scheduled 1 bartender on a Saturday night with live music. Katie was running around doing her best to take care of as many people the best way she could. This place is lucky to have her, she was awesome!
Depressing. So much potential. Its Saturday 1:00pm. This place should be packed if ran by the right person. Seems like they only cater to the 6 old people that sit out back of the restaurant. 😆
Awesome environment, but must PAY PER DRINK they added 6 extra shots to mine and my wife’s tab and was rude when taking the money. Think bartenders add their shots to tabs. DO NOT START TAB!!! But good environment for lgbtq crowd
Extremely over priced for the food we received. If you order anything on this menu it should be the fries. Over the 8 meals that were bought, that was the one thing we agreed was enjoyable. -quote from my 12 year old “McDonalds has better chicken.” Over all, food was a joke. Poor service. Waitress was pleasant but spread too thin. Ridiculous. We were not greeted when entering building & waited 10min for someone to talk to us. Questionable billing. Unfortunately for our family, this was a waste of our time & money.
I’ve gone twice with my friend and once with my husband, and these bartenders act like you’re not even there. We don’t know if we are supposed to order at the bar or at the tables and they don’t even acknowledge you until they are completely finished doing what they’re doing. That’s not good customer service. I would’ve have liked them to ask what we needed and then said they would be right back with us.
Pensacola Beachs quintessential beach bar. This place is an institution by now, Ive been coming here for over 20 years. Even DJd a few parties once upon a time. Wednesday night gets thick, and I cant believe ladies night is still only $5 bucks. The price of everything in this country has gone up except Arizona iced teas and Ladies drink and drown night at the Dock. Kid friendly during the day but leave them at the hotel after dark.
Server was not pleasant. Not even a grin came from their face. Nachos were pretty good. Bushwacker frozen drink was good wouldn’t order another but wanted to taste what the rave was about. The ocean view was absolutely stunning. It’s on the public beach so plenty of sight seeing. Lol
Hats off to the cook and servers at The Docks!!that was the best bacon burger I have had in a long time! My friend really enjoyed the grouper tacos, what a great idea! Highly recommend! Well definitely go back!
Such a great place for day drinking! Its completely open to the beach. I had a Bushwacker while I watched the crazy tourists swimming in the freezing cold ocean. They have TVs that were set on random sports channels. I used to come here with friends a long time ago. We always had a great time here. This place has been here for a very long time. I love it here!
Sat at the picnic table. Watched while others sat under beach umbrellas, out on the sand. It was relatively cooler under the roof. The waitstaff were cordial. My husband got a Virgin Daquire. It looked like a 7/11 slurpy. He said it was quite good.
Our experience was great! Good food, good drinks! Our waitress was Mariah and she did an outstanding job! Would recommend to a friend or someone around Pensacola.
Never a bad time to be at the dock. Ran in to a couple from Wisconsin and had a wonderful afternoon.
Jules was amazing... been visiting the dock since childhood. Jules was so sweet, very attentive and made us feel at home. The food was great and the margaritas were so delicious. Will ask for Jules every time I go. The best service in all of Pensacola. Please ask for her she will take great care of you and give you service with a smile.
Great place to sit and get drinks and watch the beach. Great music playing all the time. It closes around 6pm. Bar inside and outside. Lots of people smiling and greeting you. The DJ was Amazing. Had a great time. Please visit when you go to Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island.
The Dock at Casino Beach Boardwalk in Pensacola Beach, FL is a true gem! Great food, stunning views, and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
We waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken and then 50 minutes for our food to arrive. When the food arrived it was at best convenience store quality. My wife said her burger was good but she was the only one out of 5 of us that liked her food. I maybe back to drop this to a 1 star depending on how my stomach feels in about an hour or two.
If I could give a zero star review I most certainly would. Was with a wedding party and the Bride and Groom frequent this establishment often I am assuming. We had our child with us and when I walked in under the impression this was a restaurant type atmosphere was told it was fine my son was there as long as he didnt sit at the bar. I thought there was food but apparently the food left out on every single available table down to chewed up limes and lemons had gotten the best catch of the day at this place. It was so incredibly dirty. Not one single person came and attempted to clean it up....not once in a 2 hour period. I saw no waitresses and the bartender Bobby for whatever reason I guess just didnt feel like I fit in well enough to get treated nicely or with any kind of respect. I love hole in the whole type bars but this one definitely took the cake. Extremely dirty, rude, rude bartender that I had never met nor crossed in my 37 years of living and treated me like I was asking for entirely to damn much for an extra plastic cup since they serve corona in a can. It cost me 10.00 plus tip for a Coors light and a corona. ......thats more than a strip club folks! And there was no damn food!!! I guess I should......but I wont....try a day shift and see how different it is. Unfortunately Im not willing catch a charge or a disease to walk back in there. Never ever will I go back.
Last weekend I had my 50th Birthday party at the Dock! Management and Bar Staff was on Point! Had over 30 guests show up and everything went smoothly. I also worked with management to get a Band I knew and wanted to play for my bash. I highly recommend the dock! Good drinks, good food, good atmosphere! When In Pensecola Beach stop in!
First stop once we made it to town, thought to grab a bite before walking the beach and heading to our room. None of the staff informed us that they closed the kitchen until we approached someone at the bar. So we decided to get a drink, they were out of most things.
The location was great and the food wasn’t bad, but the service was insanely slow and the food handling was very questionable. I don’t know what their grudge against using trays is, but she carried 5 very squeezed styrofoam cups to us in her hands and one of the drinks had hair in it. Next was the refills of water and soda where they literally dip the spout of the refill jug into everyone’s cup (after being in everyone else’s cup at the restaurant). To top it off, was again, the use of no trays, as she brought over our 5 meals stacked on top of each other. We definitely wouldn’t go back.
I dont know why people hate the place. Been there three times and loved it every time. Bartenders are awesome. I took one home on two different occasions. If you think their rude with the drinks you would see what the do over the sheets...like I said they were awesome. If you want classy service go somewhere else. If you want something cheap...like the bartenders...come to the dock.
#1 $3 vodka special was explained that you add cranberry juice or a redbull or another mixer. So we did. But then got charged for the redbull separately#2 no prices on the menu#3 about 1-2 minutes after we left our table our son realized he left his phone/wallet. Went back and everything was still on table but the phone/wallet. Questioned waitress and bartender and we were asked if it was “the blonde boys”. When my husband asked to leave his number if it showed up they literally asked for my son’s passcode for his phone, so if it showed up they could call from it. Seriously? Last place it pinged from before it was powered down was right at the front door/inside the bar and we were seated on the beach.
I had the shrimp basket, not great.Beach location.
Best bushwackers in Pensacola!!! LOVE this spot.
This place is great. The live band was great, but when the dj started playing we had to leave. He refused to acknowledge me when I tried to ask for a request. Then he would only play the first verse and changed it to something else on every song.
Good location and afternoon lunch, only 2 waitresses, but ours was very attentive could adult drinks and hot wings on the beach...
The Busch Wacker was absolutely phenomenal .. but unfortunately the three stars are bc it took a little bit to get it. The bathroom could of been a little cleaner and the band was extremely loud. Plan on returning with hopes of a better experience to rate 5 stars like most of the other reviews but just my 3 for now. But its just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions rights? 😄
It was ok. Very much a beach bar. There werent many people there at lunchtime. My friend fish was good and our server was great. Unfortunately, I dont remember her hair but she had a very short hair cut.
Nice little joint with direct beach access for quick bites. It was delicious food. I had grouper bites with remoulade. Very good. Didnt care for the styrofoam cups.
This place is busy! I came on Saturday so as to be expected. Didnt look like they have a host just seat yourself. Im a waitress and I feel like that would be weird to not a host or greeter. So we sat at a table for about 15 minutes before being greeted. But when the waitress finally came to was very sweet and I could tell she was just really slammed. Upon ordering she told us our food would take 45- 1hr. That is a very long time considering its not steak or pasta or anything but whatever. Food was really good though when it finally came. So give this place a try just make sure you have plenty of time.
Best fast service food on the beach! Our meals, which we had a variety to pick from, were so flavorful, right temperature and the service was just perfect. We will be back!
Perfect spot for drinks, food and view. Order a bushwhackers with an extra shot!! Also..Katie is perfect and makes us feel at home each time we make the drive from Pittsburgh to Pensacola! Seriously, this is our favorite spot!!
My friends and I had a great time here on a Saturday night playing pool and drinking! Great DJ and a nice, laid back atmosphere. I also stand by their claim that they have the best bushwhacker on the beach! They were GREAT!
I caught it on the first afternoon that the COVID-19 restrictions let up and allowed full bars to operate. Misses Lee was wonderful and served quickly as well as friendly. Happy hour was good deals and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Its directly on the beach with nothing between you and the water. Perfect location.
Great walk up resturant if visiting beach for the day. Prices, services, and foods... were great.Look forward to trying again in the future.
Absolutely love this place. I brought my kids from Texas and of all the places we have tried this is our favorite. Great food, tasty drinks and a fantastic view of the water. The vibes and the staff are laid back and all very cool.
Waited at a table for 15 minutes for service, no waiter/waitress showed up. Went to the bar and told them, they said they would send someone out, no one came. Left after a total of 20 minutes. Have no idea if food is good or not, but service was TERRIBLE. Not even a drink of water as waited in 90 degree weather. We walked over to Casino Bar and Grill and were seated and given water in 3 minutes!
Visited here in October and had a great experience. The bartender was awesome and I had a really good pina colada. Tonight was not a good experience. I ordered a margarita on the rocks. The bartender mixed one margarita and split it between 2 drinks. The cup I had was ice only half way down. I scooped out a bunch of ice just to get to the drink. It was about 3 drinks worth of margarita.
The bar tenders are amazing as the floor staff. We came during covid. Maybe 30 people maximum. When I asked the manager to change the TV to the NBA finals he told me to get a wife cause he aint it. And cited he was too busy. The bartender stepped in and went to handle. Shes amazing and saved our business. Dont expect to be appreciated if you step in here. Tip your bartender cause they are awesome.Dear manager,If you cant handle this you should try knitting, this is as slow as it gets. And always appreciate your customers or you wont have any
Terrible service. I had to go looking for someone to take our order. The bartender had to track down the young lady just to get our order. When the food did come it was not very good. My wife had a veggie meal and the fried pickles had so much salt on them that you couldnt taste anything else. My son and I had chicken wings. The wings tasted like someone, just threw cheap hot sauce on them and just served them. The bathroom toilets were stopped up and very unclean. We will never go back.
Bad service. Came here to enjoy a nice meal on the beach. Instead, we encountered just the worst experience. We were there around 4 PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 and it wasn’t busy at all. Went to the outside bar to order food for pickup where the man standing at the POS said we needed to order at the inside bar or sit at a table. Okay, whatever. Went to the inside bar to another man who was standing at a POS, and when we told him we only wanted food, he told us to sit at a table and wait for service. At this point it’s annoying but we go sit at a table. The waitress speeds past us without even so much as stopping to put down napkins or water or even looking at us saying, “I’ll be right with you.” We sat at that table for about 6 minutes just waiting. Meanwhile the same waitress is walking past us back and forth serving other tables. Some of my colleagues experienced the same service and I won’t use the R word but that’s the vibe I was getting. We decided to leave and go to the food stand next door, which I do recommend. Fast service and better personalities.
