Massage Envy

Awesome place. I was very nervous at first but I left feeling euphoric. Front counter ladies were nice and helpful. Janine was very friendly with nice conversation and I left feeling like I was upgraded with a better body.

TLDR - Website is a bit misleading and the bedside manner from the tech I had was rude and cold. Massage itself was decent and cost was good for first massage. Cost after first massage is not competitive in the market. Not recommended.Long story:Part 1 (Booking)Went online to book, scheduled a rapid tension relief for a Sunday. Never got a confirmation email. Logged into my account the next day and sure enough, it didn’t book even though the website said confirmed. I then made another appt for Saturday. This also did not generate a confirmation email but it at least showed under my account.Part 2 (Check in)Lady at the counter was very friendly and walked me through check in via her iPad. Honestly no complaints with the front desk staff, they were kind and quick.Part 3 (Meeting the tech)For obvious reasons, I won’t call out the tech by name. If the company cares enough, they can figure out who it was by my name. She was cold and short with me, often cutting me off. She seemed to have a facial reaction to every thing I said as if I was just annoying her by existing. She would ask questions prompted by a form on her iPad and would cut me off before I could finish. She ultimately upsold me on a massage over rapid tension relief mostly because of how uncomfortable she was making me. I was hoping that going with her suggestion would turn the appointment around but I was wrong. To get into the details would make this review so much longer than it needs to be but some examples during the service. She kept sighing very loudly as if she did not want to be there, when she needed to put a pillow under my ankles, she said “Move your legs” instead of something a bit nicer. She also made sure I knew that there was only 20 minutes for the massage unlike I was told up front and kept looking at the time like she couldn’t wait to be out of there. I was happy when it was over. It finished rather early as she said, 20 minutes even though I paid for 30.Part 4 (Checking out)The tech advised me about the wellness program and said she hoped I enjoyed. I then went to the front desk which then again advised me about their wellness program (Very expensive and not competitive to smaller businesses around Hamilton). I declined and made a comment about paying for 30 minutes but only getting 20. She advised the 30 included the consultation. I said my consultant was all of 1 minute and she said well it should be 10. She then charged me full price and didn’t even attempt to comment further. I paid $56 and left. They advised me next time it would be $80+ for 30 minutes.Overall - I will not be returning. I don’t believe they offer a good value, some of their staff doesn’t seem to care. I’m sure there are more employees that do care than not but unfortunately with the experience I had, I could not recommend this place to anyone. 2/5 because the massage itself was Ok.

I visited Massage Envy in Bridgewater Falls and had a massage with Chance. Chance was amazing! I am a licensed massage therapist of 12 years and I am a bit of a critic when it comes to massage. I booked this massage last minute while out of town for a family emergency and I just knew that I was not going to be happy but I needed something to get me through the visit until I could get back to my regular therapist. Chance was nice and friendly and I was very happy that he asked me what I wanted to focus on during the session and did just what I needed. I scheduled a deep tissue massage and he sure did not disappoint! When I come back to town I will definitely be sure to visit Chance again.

Had a facial with Haylie, she’s amazing and my skin looks radiant. So happy with the service I got today. Everyone was so nice. Haylie was very knowledgeable and helpful. What a pleasant experience.

Carissa is AMAZING! i’ve never felt so relaxed and confident in my skin than i have after having an appointment with her! my skin has cleared up almost instantly after my appointment and i finally know what exactly is going on with my skin! absolutely recommend!!!!!!!

Everyone was so pleasant & friendly. Ashlie was an excellent massage therapist! Friendly, kind, concerned, great discussion about what was needed or expected. I couldn’t have asked for a better connection!I don’t want to see anyone else.

The business was awesome, the front desk was nice, accommodating and professional. My therapist Karen was so so good, a personal massage meaning she listened to me where my discomfort is. She worked magic on my neck. The rooms were clean and ok relaxing. I’m so glad I got a member.......

Very relaxing experience. Ashleigh did a wonderful job with my shoulder area were I have been experiencing a lot of discomfort. The pain I had been experiencing was less after my massage.

Jessica is absolutely amazing with facials. I can tell skincare is really important to her. She’s patient and gentle. She provides tips for after service and products that would help enhance my skin.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Massage Envy -bridgewater falls. The staff is very professional and friendly, the building comfy and spotless, and any minor issues they worked kindly and promptly though with me. Casey the manager is very welcoming and goes above and beyond to help out the client. My therapist Kathy is one of the best hands down! Kathy always seems to know exactly where to focus when Im in pain and uses techniques that I have not found in other therapist. kathy has magic hands and a wonderful personality. Thank you Kathy for helping me heal! I love this company and all they stand for. Two huge thumbs up from this gal!!!

Contact Massage Envy become a member and enjoy a monthly massage.I have been coming to Massage Envy for 12+ years and have had the same therapist.Kathy is professional, asks about the areas that you need worked on and genuinely cares about her clients. I look forward to my massage each month.I realized how much this SELF CARE helped me when Massage Envy was closed down due to the pandemic. When Massage Envy reopened they took every precaution that the CDC recommended. They continue to take these precautions for the safety of their staff and clients. It is reassuring that management cares about their clientele.I have been to other massage therapists and have never found one like Kathy. I purchased a membership to Massage Envy years ago. One of the best investments I have made.

I am a believer. That’s a bold statement, but I wouldn’t make it if it wasn’t true. I became a member of the Bridgewater Falls Massage Envy after receiving a gift card from my Daughter. From the minute I walked in the door, I was treated with so much kindness, from the caring front desk staff, who listened to my needs, to the massage therapist Jeff, is always concerned about how my week went and how my body has been feeling. I have all the confidence in the world that the well trained staff have my best interest in mind. The facility is very clean and relaxing. I look forward to every aspect from start to finish. I have recommended Bridgewater Massage Envy to all my friend and family.

I had my first professional massage here, and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. I was immediately impressed by the ambiance and professionalism of the reception staff. My therapist was also very communicative and professional in helping me navigate my first experience. I would recommend Massage Envy to anyone, even if you’ve never had a professional massage. Everyone knows what they’re doing and will make you feel comfortable and we’ll cared for.

I dont write bad reviews ever, but this place got me really frustrated. This place is a scam, and has terrible customer service. I had a couples account for 2 years, used few services. The massage therapists are well trained, and are good at what they do. I closed both accounts last year November 2019 as we were not able to carve out time and most of the time they were booked. They talked to us about freeze plus program, we started paying 10$ each month to use 10 of our incurred massages in Jan 2020. Starting March 2020, due to the pandemic we stopped going out for any non essential services. Me and my husband both are doctors, considering the seriousness of the safety issue we are being very cautious.I received one text message from the company in July 2020 that we will resume making payment of 55+ taxes from Oct 2020 if you dont schedule. I would have missed that text, but they started taking payments of 58$ starting August 2020. No notifications of payment being made or whatsoever. My concern is how they can take payments from my account which was frozen, without my consent. So be very careful when they are trying to sell you membership. They are no where near to any local business service, just like any other corporate their main focus is sales.

Jessica gets better each time I go to her. I have had facials and massages from many companies over the last 25 years. So far she is becoming one of my favorite Aestheticians.The problem is once an aesthetician is great they leave the company and I can not always follow.

I absolutely love massage envy. Ive been twice and both times was amazing. I had 2 different people and both did an amazing job. I will be back. The place is clean and gives off the most relaxing atmosphere. I feel brand new when I leave there!! I highly recommend this place.

Massage Envy has the best staff that is so helpful. Alexis is wonderful. She knows how to work on fibromyalgia patients and listens to me. She’s the best! Ebony st the front desk is always cheerful, helps me reschedule, and is so proficient in her job.

Although I have not been I send my wife occasionally and she has never came home unhappy with her visit

Kelly was amazing! I went for a prenatal massage and I left feeling so relaxed and relieved from pressures of being 33 weeks pregnant. Will definitely be trying to go back!

I usually my experience with Karen. Unfortunately this time however, I felt like the massage was rushed. I’m not sure if she was tired but the massage was definitely not as I’ve had in the past and if I receive the same treatment in the future, I will be requesting another masseuse.

First of all, the Therapist are All wonderful. The organization is dishonest. When we first bought into the yearly membership, it was just that, Yearly renewals. Somewhere along the line it went to automatic renewals, we informed them we did not want automatic renewals at the time, because my husband traveled and could not make monthly appointments to keep up with the charges. We were unaware that they did not listen to our request. Last spring my husband was told he had 19 one hour visits charged. He told them to please put the account on hold until they were caught up. They said they would. This summer we were informed that our HSA card was empty and they could not charge any more on it. My husband went in and they had 24 one hour visits, again they did not listen. Now they tell us we have to cancel our membership since we refuse to give them another card, I feel rightly so, and gave us 2 months for my husband to use 24 visits and me my 4 visits. He was allowed to share some visits with me. However, it was impossible to get so many visits scheduled around their availability and our work schedule. Our 2 months just ended and my husband still has 7.5 hours left and they cancelled his visit scheduled for today because they want an new card on file. So, in the end they get ~$600 of our health savings and they dont have to pay their therapist. This all could have been prevented if they had only listened to our request or was up front to us about the charges as they were happening. Since it was the HSA we were not getting notices when it was being used. We trusted that the company was honest. Wrong!

Kathy provides a wonderful massage. She maintains good notes about my preferences at each massage and discusses exactly what I want immediately before each massage. She talks just enough to maintain a good rapport - unlike other masseuses who seem to think a running dialogue is appropriate while Im trying to relax and enjoy my massage.

This was my first time at Massage Envy and it was a great experience! The staff was so friendly and Lexi was amazing!! She did such a great job taking the time to understand my needs and my body felt so relaxed and refreshed after. Highly recommend!

All the staff are super friendly. I always leave relaxed & feeling good. Been coming for a while to see Jeff & hes my fav but Ive also seen Kathy a couple times & she awesome as well.

I have been dealing with back pain for a while. However after leaving Massage Envy I felt 100% better and havent had pain since. They have such a relaxing and professional atmosphere. I have been to multiple locations and all were wonderful. The Bridgewater location is my personal favorite!

Received my first facial last night, and it was rough. Steam made it hard to breathe for 25 minutes straight. Almost none of the steps were explained as they happened, and some of the products made my skin burn as they were applied. And Bobby pins were used as an extraction tool.... BOBBY PINS. For the price and being a professional experience, I expected more. My face feels fine today but it was not relaxing.

I have been seeing Charlotte at the Bridgewater location for years. She has worked miracles with my migraines over that time and is now helping me recover from a shoulder injury. Regarding the migraines, she helped to reduce the number I had each month. And after a single session with Charlotte I regained some range of motion in my shoulder that I hadn’t had for 6 months. She’s very professional, but if you’re the type who is OK talking with the therapist during a massage, you’ll find that she is also kind and funny.

Kathy J. takes the time to understand her clients, and makes sure to provide a great experience. So glad to have Kathy as part of my wellness team.

The massage with Kathy was amazing as always and the staff polite and professional. The only bad thing is (and has been for my last few visits) is the hideous music that’s playing. It’s often discordant, in a minor key, and sounds like a funeral dirge. It is the exact opposite type of music you want to hear during a relaxing massage.It used to be lovely soothing music, I’m not sure why they changed. It really lessens the relaxing nature of the massage

I am a member at the Massage envy location:3417 Princeton Rd Ste 127, Hamilton, OH 45011Since we are in a pandemic I have tried to see if I can use my 11 prepaid massages. I recently put my account on freeze because I have 11 prepaid massages that I have not been able to use due to the pandemic and so I called the location talk to the general manager who was very rude which I was shocked because she is the GM. The employees which were actually really pleasant describing why they couldnt assist.The general manager calls me today and tells me that unfortunately theyre not able to keep my account on freeze and allow me to use my massages unless I unfreeze my account. I advise that I dont mind unfreezing my account however I dont want to continue to be charged until I can get at least halfway caught up on some of the massages that Ive already prepaid for because thats almost a years worth that have been paid for in advance. she tells me that I would have to pay $10 franchise fee if I wanted to use my massages.I advise that I shouldnt be penalized for wanting to use my services and wanting to continue to have services in the future because I wasnt able to use these services due to a pandemic covid-19. The general manager at the Bridgewater location in Ohio simply said well thats our policy I can waive three of the $10 fees but the rest of the fees you will have to pay and were not giving you your money back.I told her that I originally I didnt want my money back but I did want to have the services however if shes going to be rude and not compromise, then I do want my money back since I have paid $55 per visit for 11 visits in advance. I also advised that I would have to go to corporate because this doesnt make sense that there wouldnt be an exception.Please assist as I actually did enjoy getting my massages which is why I allowed so many payments to come out.Thank you,

Very good massage. I usually prefer deep tissue pressure. However this massage taught me that medium pressure plus stretching can deliver the same benefits. I decided to schedule additional sessions with Karen because I found her care for safe and effective massage to be a good match for my needs.

Im giving massage envy a 3 star because the place was clean, everyone was professional.The lady that did my massage was really, really nice, we had a great convo. However when it came to the message it wasnt that great unfortunately...The leg part just felt like nothing, then she just kinda squeezed my feet a few times. Honestly its been so long since I had a message that it doesnt take much to feel great.The only way i could describe her massage was like little baby hands randomly patting me ever so lightly.

My therapist Thomas, at the bridge water falls location has helped me tremendously! I have severe arthritis and issues with walking, and get severe headaches from arthritis in my neck. Since Ive started my treatments with him my pain has been reduced so significantly Ive been able to resume living a normal lifestyle. Ive even begun to start hiking again which Ive been unable to do without extreme discomfort for years. Massage therapy has allowed me to act my age (Im very young for arthritis) without having to take a bunch of tylenol every day just to function. I appreciate everything hes done and the staff there are fantastic! Quick shout out to Jessica too, she is amazing at administering facials! My skin literally glows with health!

As usual my visit with Charlotte was great. She listens to my concerns and works on those specific issues. My only complaint is the loud music coming from Buffalo Wild Wings. The constant thump of the bass was distracting when trying to relax.

Ive been going to ME for over a decade and I love coming here. Kathy and Sheyenne have always treated us well and Thomas is a GREAT new addition to their team of therapists.

Gave my wife a gift card for her birthday back in January . Wife goes to use gift card and was told card is not activated. I was livid hearing this when she came home . Lucky for them the help ticket or whatever they did to investigate removed the charges on her credit card . I can only say , if I went there , Id be bringing a rash of hell with me . I have no tolerance for this kind of stupity. Piss poor business model and i will not ever use them again.

Alexis is amazing & very proficient at what she does and it shows!! While she works throughly on specific target areas, I don’t walk out feeling sore and even feel good the next day!!

Extremely poor communication between the front desk, therapist, and management. This was not a covid related issue which I would have been completely understanding of but rather a complete breakdown in communication between the front desk and therapist. That led to things getting even more construed when they relayed info to their locations manager. Something that could have bern easily clarified in under 30 seconds turned into a pain the the .... and management didnt take care of the problem at all sadly.

Jeremy was very informative and he noticed the areas that needed the most attention. I was so relaxed when I walked out if there. I will be back.

I have been coming to Massage Envy for a few years. They always great me promptly and are friendly. The massages are usually very good. They take into consideration if you have any sore areas and the building is very nicely maintained .

Was given an hour massage as a gift at work. I have had massages before but never at Massage Envy. I expressed that my lower back needed the most attention. My lower back was barely touched and my legs were not massaged at all. The entire hour was spent mostly on my neck and arms. Very disappointing compared to other massages I have received at other places.

Therapist I had today said she was going to do A full massage but she Didnt do my glutes or the back of my legs.Ive been disappointed with the therapist Ive had recently. Not able to get appointments when I want them.

Booking agent does not pay attention to Detail. Booked into a slot that was not on the day I was told. Stated she was looking at some other clients date When I rebooked. I was only booked for 1 of the services I requestedThis should be an experience that is not stressful. Im going to another location where they had a booking agent that appears to be more conscientious

When my massage therapist was actually quiet, which was approximately 30 seconds out of the hour, it was helpful. Being counselor, having someone speak to you for a whole other hour outside of work isn’t relaxing.

Very nice/clean facility, extremely nice staff and the services I received were awesome. I had a great massage, but she also took the time to give me examples on stretching to help with the muscles that were tense.

I tried to go in for a gift card and they quoted me prices that were double what the website says and claimed the web showed the members only prices.The website says nothing about the prices shown were members only.They lost a sale because either this location is inflating the cost or the website is misleading their potential customers.Either way, I found someplace else to go.
