0 stars if I could! Asked for a balayage and money piece and came out with highlights and one brassy money piece . Paid too much and asked for it to get fixed. They attempted it but the money piece came out chunkier and the only service that was offered was to make my hair shiny (to make it look more alive). I did hair after care and used the recommended hair product to take care of hair. It still looked brassy. Came back to ask for consultation and check if there was damage. There was. Refused to give compensation because they’re independent workers. Keep searching for different salons if you need to!

Loved Derricks Hair Salon. Ive had bad experiences before in other salons with not liking my haircut, and I could not believe how happy and joyous I left from here. Terri did an amazing job! I absolutely love my long layered hair 😌 I should have listened to my husband and gone since day 1 of their opening, and I will definitely be back soon!

I went in because I wanted to have a better experience in haircuts because I always seem to have bad luck and this was no different. I’m not talking about the salon as a whole but just one hairdresser in particular. I asked for lots of layers because my hair is wavy but with the right products and styling my hair has very lose curls. I came in and she immediately said that I didn’t have curly hair like her and mentioned it like 5 times throughout the haircut. I asked for lots of layers to create volume but she insisted that it wouldn’t look good on me. I told her about 3 times that that’s what I wanted but she didn’t do it. She gave me two layers towards the end of my hair and said that now I can put it in a ponytail several times. Don’t know why it was so important to her for my hair to go up in a ponytail. I did tell her I didn’t mind going shorter so she did. By the end of it my haircut looked the exact same as it did 4 months before. I was extremely disappointed but I’m not a confrontational person at all and even tipped her 5 dollars. I had to go to another hair salon and get what I actually wanted, lots of layers and I can still put my hair in a ponytail.

I was very impressed with Derricks Hair Salon. I was treated like a VIP, the staff were very polite, professional . The salon was very clean. I had the pleasure of having Terry as my stylest. She listened to me, went over what I wanted several times. She took her time with me and did a beautiful haircut. Thank you Terry and I will be back 5 star all around!

I had an appointment a couple of weeks ago and have been meaning to leave a review.Upon scheduling my appointment the day prior, I let them know that I had an appointment at 1pm for a job interview.I arrived at my appointment and my stylist, Ana, was ready for me. She started right away. While I was sitting there, the receptionist came up and verified that I was the one with the interview, I said yes. She said, awesome, I just want to make sure we get you out of here on time! -Honestly, this was the best customer service Ive received in a while.Ana was fantastic, she color matched my hair (even though its like 18 different colors)I was even able to get a gel manicure from Maddie, she did a fantastic job as well. They are still looking pretty decent even though I am rough on my hands.They were able to bounce me back and forth and get me out of there on time!I was totally impressed and appreciated their professionalism.I went to my interview feeling like a million bucks. Ended up landing the job on the spot.Thank you again, ladies!! I will be back!!

I came to this salon as a new client and the entire staff made me feel welcomed. Terry was my stylist and listened to what I wanted done. I showed her pictures of what I was thinking and my hair came out so good, exceeded my expectations!!! Will definitely be going back!!!

This salon always amazing and everyone was so nice!! It felt like family and they went out of their way to make you feel welcomed… I have never been this happy with my hair before. 100% recommend!! Thank you Lourdes for an amazing job

I believe the owner of this hair salon likes to be a liar. Calling cops on my son for having a hard time getting the car door open without asking if he needed help accuses him of trying to steal my car. Thats dumb. The handles get stuck . as for me charging at the window thats stupid. I was walking to the window to try to talk to the owner. Now I think you are racist.Just because im black, you think I was charging at the window. You didnt even give me a chance to talk to you. You treated me like I was a bad person. Im not a bad person, and I would never lie and say that you were charging to the window. Not all people are evil . Get over yourself, Karen

I have super fine and straight 1a hair. It is difficult to find a stylist that knows how to shape my hair let alone send me off with a good low maintenance hair cut I can wear with little effort… that I will like. Whelp… Derick did it. I really think this place is fantastically priced for the quality of cut you’ll receive. Thank you Derrick.

My wife went in for a hair cut and blend with extensions. She rarely visits a salon so was excited to go. After showing a picture and explaining a few times to the stylist what she didn’t like she ended up with one side of her hair longer than the other. She doesn’t like confrontation so she ended up just giving up on telling the stylist what she didn’t like or looked wrong . She really liked the place and said other workers seemed very professional and doesn’t know if she just ended up getting a bad stylist. Yes they tried making it right with a discount (thank you)but the harm was already done.

Took my daughter for a hair cut, she has curly hair so I was a bit scared on finding someone who knew how to cut it correctly. But Lourdes was amazing! So sweet and knew exactly how to cut her hair and it came out beautiful.

I walked in to make an appointment for a haircut, everyone was very friendly and professional, Anna took me right away was very sweet and did a really good job on my hair, the prices are very reasonable and I most definitely will be back and ask for Anna. I noticed they do a lot of stuff there even massages...great place I stumbled upon.

Derrick and his team are professionals who provide consistent quality and the vibe in the salon is great. Derrick has managed to bring some luxury to this desert and create something totally awesome. 10/10 would reccomend. Maddy did an excellent job on my mani/pedi and Derrick is awesome at hair.

The girls were careful and thorough and did an excellent job on my facial, mani and haircut. And made sure all of their equipment was sterilized. Nothing more to say the service was amazing!

Derrick is absolutely fantastic! He is thorough and a perfectionist. He listens to what you want and truly delivers. He did exactly what I asked and was blown away by the results.

It’s been 3 months and my hair still breaking off. I asked for the same color I’ve been getting for years. Medium golden brown. But somehow it turned out almost black. Had to have someone else cut it so short due to the damage. Very disappointing

Good environment but the price!!! Wow... wont go back. 140.00 plus tip for something simple.For what I paid I could of had art work on all my nails.

Liked the second hair dresser, she knew what she was doing, color wise. Be ready to wait... ask questions about who youre getting..
