I went here last weekend for my birthday this year and when I say it was an EXPERIENCE! I was in the mood for dancing and energy and fun and that’s what I got. There were great party favors and a shout out to all us birthday folk 🥰🥳 Totally recommend!

I enjoy this place so much! The food is great! The nice people that frequent the restaurant! If you want a place to forget about problems and enjoy fun, this is it 😄. I can’t believe that people are so petty 😅😅. If it turns into a night club, and you’re not enjoying it, then leave . Anyways, I don’t take negative reviews seriously and check small businesses before making an assumption. I’m glad that’s my Motto 😁

Neveeer come to this one place! I am a bartender and know this industry very well. This place is a ripoff servers and manager trying to literally steal money from you. They charged me and my group of 18 people $15 each. After I gave them the money $300 they did not want to give me my change back supposedly because they didn’t have change at the moment so I had to come back later and they said they don’t remember me so they won’t give me my change back then the server added 2 buckets of beer $40 each and wanted me to pay for them. I told him we did not have those buckets so the server told me that they were going to look at the cameras. I said okay because I know how these thieves get when they want to steal money. Then the manager came and told me that we did have those buckets and we had to pay. I told him either they take the buckets off or I’ll call the police. They finally took them off and we left.I am Colombian and I am very ashamed of these type of people and how they do business they do not know how to run a business in USA. I would love to show these unprofessional people how to really run a place and really make a lot of money without having to steal from people.

Visited this place on a Friday night to celebrate a cousins birthday party. There was a line but came in quickly. a party of about 15 people. The place was packed. We got a few tables and took over a corner. Good view. Service was good. You can walk away with a cup of caldo de gallina free of charge once you come outside.Im sure Ill come back at some point in the future 😅Like and comment. Thanks for reading!

I went there to get a late dinner at 11pm on a Friday. Didnt realize it became a club during those times. I ate and then danced for the next 3 hours. After leaving I couldnt hear properly. It felt like I was underwater or like I had ear plugs in my ears even thought I didnt. Everything sounded muffled. I slept and woke up, and now 8h later MY HEARING STILL HASNT RECOVERED. Turn your music down, no one wants it that loud. How have they not been sued for causing health damage to peoples hearing? If my hearing doesnt return to the same level as before, Ill be investigating legal action. Very upsetting that this restaurant doesnt care about damaging peoples hearing. I cant believe it.

Went here with my family and had the worst service ever!, the waitresses seemed like they had just woken up and their actitudes were not friendly at all.We had an issue of misunderstanding where the server put in an orden after we were eating of an item that we did not order and when we told them we did not place that order they rudely gave us an actitud and accused us of been wrong. We let the manager know about the poorly service and instead they came and argue between them at our table when we were trying to pay. The place is nice and the food is good but they need to work on customer service!

My experience at Fonda Dulce Jesús Mío was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the manager treated us very poorly and showed a complete lack of professionalism. He rudely informed us that we should go to Los Perros instead, and made it clear that he would not let us inside the restaurant. This was despite the fact that others were being allowed entry without any issue.What made the situation even more frustrating was witnessing a man pay the manager $10 in order to gain entry. It became evident that the reason we were not allowed in was because we did not pay him under the table. This kind of underhanded behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.This experience completely soured my mood and I left feeling incredibly dissatisfied. I can say with certainty that I will never return to Fonda Dulce Jesús Mío, and I will not be recommending it to any of my friends or acquaintances. It is a shame that such unprofessionalism and unethical practices are tolerated at this establishment.

Terrible first experience. I called to reserve a table and they said that I don’t need one because they had tables available. Johnathan Arguello walked the 3 of us to a tiny table with tiny stools that is for 2 people, at the most. We told him we were having dinner and the 2 men in my party are pretty big guys, but he refused to change our table. There were many bigger tables available. We asked to speak to the manager and he and the hostess colleting the cover charge said that he’s the one and only manager.

This restaurant is very close to my house but just today I decided to Order from here since I was looking for colombian food . Wow ! Food was so good ! I was super pleased . AllFlavors and portions were perfect. This is authentic Colombian food. If you’re looking for real food look no more. They have a big menu and many options. I got a delicious Bandeja Paisa and chicken with mushrooms sauce. I definitely recommend.

Great place to have fun & an awesome party!!! It never stops!!! 🥳🥳 You have to get there early and making a reservation because the place is full and the parking lot isn’t big enough due to it’s shared with other places. We were a group of 10 people and got there by 10:00 until 4:30am! Believe me, it was so good! Very Latin Music ambience and prices are affordable. 100% recommended!!!

Plan and simple this place stinks. Literally. There is an odor. Either from the carpet, the fog machines or because there are too many people with body odor and no where to move. Please spray and disinfect!. It is fun to enjoy Colombian music and fun. But please this is not the i.pression I want to give visitors of miami clubs. It smells bad.

Walked in sat down and got menus. Staff ignored us and didn’t even take a drink order for 14 minutes before we got up and left. There was only 3 tables inside the restaurant and 2 servers plus the manager. I’m always so patient with waitresses but not acknowledging us or asking us what we wanted to drink for almost 15 minutes is ridiculous.

We are in 2024 and this place will not admit you if you are wearing shorts (I went at night time) like if it is a high end restaurant. laughable not to say ridiculous. Never again will waste my time going back

Went for new years. Paid. $40 to get in per person =4people ($120) $400 for two agua ardiente bottles ($60 forced tip), picada $70?? ($20 forced tip). The waiter left the bottle and food and never returned, coud not get napkins, picante, plates, etc. Entonces porque cobran la propina incluida si no van a atender??

Typically, we order through Uber and we dont have any complaints. Today we decided to go to the restaurant for lunch. It was just a couple of people there, not busy at all, we were seated and asked for our drinks. Unfortunately, after gave us our drinks, they never came back to our table again. We waited 45 minutes. The waitress even took the order for a table that was seated after us. She kept looking at us throughout the 45 minutes but never came. I got up to their counter and asked to pay for what we drank and left. Her excuse, she thought she took our order. Horrible service, just never going back there again.

What an unpleasant surprise I got when I saw the bill and realized that they charge me “Automatic Service Fee gratuity” for TAKE OUT. This is non sense. I’m very happy to leave gratuity when I get fine service but this is absolutely out of place.I hope they correct this situation as soon as possible because they have good food.

It’s far from being a restaurant it’s a full on nightclub. The way the people are crowded in is nothing short of a death trap. When the lights are off the exits are stacked with chairs and tables pushed by people trying to dance.

My husband and I absolutely 💯 love this place! You get the best of both worlds, casual atmosphere and an amazing DJ. Its impossible to sit still with such great music. The waiters & waitresses wear the cutest traditional Colombian outfits; their service is great as well. Plenty of guaro 😉🥳 for those that love to drink. A must visit spot in Miami.

We use to liked this place but for real this place is so crowded we can’t dance because people don’t have where to sit so they stand up in the middle of the dance floor and if u are sit they are in front of you and don’t let you movedHopefully they change this I know they want money for every person who get inside and consume but not to the point that is not way to exit in an emergency 🆘

This place is a genuine piece of Colombia! I came across it today y me quedé enamorada! The staff is so attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have a host and there was also a guest singer who’s voice is amazing! I will most definitely be coming back with my family, totally recommend it if you’re looking for a family friendly restaurant with amazing food!

Good vive just not enough place For dancing.

First and last time doing business with this restaurant. Placed an order over the phone only to find out they were missing ingredients at pick up time. Fish was under cooked and the meat couldn’t be worst. To top it all off they added an automatic tip ad if we were being served in person. It was an outrageous experience. Never again.

What a fun place! Typical Colombian fonda. Colorful, huge picadas and the music is great because it reminds me the music I grew up with and dancing at family parties. Will definitely be coming back.

Very disappointing!Visiting from Boston, MA and Medellin and expecting a superb service just like their locations in Medellin. They have a tremendous reputation in Medellin but unfortunately, not the case for this location in Miami.When we asked for a menu, the server never provided one despite the fact that he made some recommendations, therefore we had no idea of prices and other options.The food that we ordered was a super generic and did not have the authentic Colombian taste. You can tell the chorizos are from the freezer and the empanadas had a very poor taste as well as the chicharrones. Not to mention how overpriced it was for such a generic food.Also the server was pushy and wanted us to order quick because he was going to be too busy. We placed the order, paid right away and through out our stay, even though weve already paid, he never bothered once on checking to see if we needed something else. In addition to this, we made a request that was never addressed properly.Not to mention that we went to this location to watch our beloved Nacional play as it was highly recommended but what a disappointment. Could barely concentrate or enjoy the game with the loud music that shouldve been played during the halftime, not during the entire game.The decoration pretty much what a Fonda should look like. Good points on that aspect.

The place was over sold. There was no space to move. They announced a comic show, and an imitator. That never happened. When I asked, they said the show will be at 2 am. I left at 2:45 am, and there were no show. Instead of 12 grapes as traditionally, they gave 6. The champagne was undrinkable. If you buy a drink, had to wait 1/2 hour to get it. This was my first and last time at this place

Great experience from door to exit!! Amazing customer service and amazingly delicious food. The place is very comfortable and really resembles a typical fonda paisa. Andres our waiter went the extra mile at all times great server, 5 stars for him also.

If I could give a 0 I would. Manager is very rude and discriminates people at the door. First he said we had to wait with no explanation. They were letting in other people, saying they had wrist bands. When they were going to allow two others without, I said it was time to attend us. But again the manager was very rude. He said we had to buy a bottle to sit inside. I agreed and he still said we had to wait because it was full. Even the bouncer apologized saying he hates how they run the place. At this point, I was not going to give my money to a place like this and was leaving. A woman that was leaving the bar, asked me, why was I leaving and mentioned that there were plenty of seats. There was another couple behind us that had the same issue, obviously they didn’t fit their standards either. Idk if it’s because we were only two, or women, not Colombian, etc. But clearly this manager chooses to only let in who they want.

I made reservations a week in advance to make sure that the large group I had for my mother’s 65th birthday would be taken care of. When we got there my two tables were not reserved with my name. The girls were going to give me the balcony thinking it was mine, but I knew for a fact it was not my table. I’m very disappointed that after making reservations a week in advance they did not follow through and the beginning of the experience was not pleasant. Thank goodness the waitresses pulled through and were able to accommodate us. I was able to speak to Derrick, but all he did was give me false promises. I won’t be holding another event there.

I wanted to give a zero stars... too bad the lowest is 1. The Luis Alberto Posada was a total failure. The organizers were not prepared at all. The tickets stated that doors would open at 9pm and they didnt allow anyone in until 9:30 pm. There were tables, chairs, and stools everywhere, to the point of people not being able to walk around and much less to dance. Towards the middle of the night there were people sitting on cutted tree stumps and others were offered to seat on stacked buckets (ridiculous). The waitresses looked and acted lost; they mentioned a price for the liquor but ended up charging more. The sound was terrible and the DJ made some very bad mixes. Finally, the singer didnt show up until 3 AM... only because people were seriously mad.In conclusion, the concert was terrible and I do not recommend anyone to go to this place.

The food taste like of you were eating a homecooked meal. For those who like a really good soup you should try their Sancocho de Costilla (Rib Soup) is the best Ive had. The cost is very reasonable with the amount of food served.

The Paisa plate is good they give you thin steak,chicharrones, red beans, chorizo, fried egg,its pretty good specially the red beans.People friendly and I found it to be clean.

Too much disorder, they exceed the capacity of the place, a single bathroom for almost 1000 people, it is unhygienic, the waiters can barely walk because there are people standing in each space, admission was paid and they had to leave after a while, likewise they cannot have good customer service because of the crowd that fills the place, and since they charge entry thats the only thing that matters to them 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎Too bad!!

At this time in Fonda Dulce Jesus Mio Miami doing business with people... they charge to enter to watch the game THE FINAL!, and those who pay more than 20USD let them enter from another side. PEOPLE ARE ENTERING... For groups of more than 10 people THEY HAVE TO BUY A MINIMUM of 4 bottles of drink and after 4 hours in line at 92° degrees of temperature they say there is no table. Freeloaders, rats... thats not done. False advertising! People get sick from heat... they play with peoples illusions. What a rubbish business.

The food was delicious, although the ribs in the soup were hard hard hard, good flavor but I took it with me to continue cooking at home.I recommend that you remove the automatic tip from the bill, the service is not good, I have been to eat like 5 times and always the same. Today I spent 20 minutes to get something to drink and my coconut rice didnt arrive until the end because we had already finished it. On a previous visit, the reheated rice had also been forgotten, and when it arrived it was time to leave.On a previous visit they also gave the food from my table to the table next to me.When the employees have to work for tips, they are there if they pay attention to everything.I hope you take this review to improve the service in your restaurant.Thank you.I hope on a future visit it goes better.Gods blessing

It was our first visit, the service was acceptable, we ordered an Argentine churrasco, if the Argentines see it they will die, the cooking time has nothing to do with it, the meat is very poor quality, hard and very greasy, we didnt eat it, we returned it and they charged for it.You go to drink, not to eat.We will not return

My wife and I went to eat on Saturday June 29th around 3pm. We placed the order, my wife was served the food, I just ate, I waited 10 minutes and called the waitress, she told me it would take 5 more minutes. After 25 minutes they brought me my plate and no one came up to ask how everything was at any time. Of course, tip despite the bad service included and without the option to review the account. Terrible service.

On Saturday I called to see if they were going to show the Colombia game, they told me yes, that the doors open at 3pm. It arrived at 3:30pm, and they werent letting anyone in yet, the game started at 5pm, it was already 5:15 when they finally let us in. Once inside we realized that they didnt even have the sign of the game. They were looking for it, we missed the first goal of the game and practically the first half, and yet they had the nerve to charge us for admission. They should feel sorry for them and come back more serious and professional.

For the final match in Colombia they said there were no reservations, the people who were in line for more than two hours in the heat left them out... a mafia that is the offspring of puuuuts, they dont know how to do anything, they dont respect people. With money the dog dances

I went on Saturday for the first time, I had heard a lot about the place that it was very good to go partying, but the truth is I am left speechless, it is a spectacle to go to the inn, the music, the entertainer, the artists who bring the best, it is a little piece of Colombia abroad congratulations to the entire team at the restaurant

On July 6, I went with my family to watch the game and everything was fine.Waitress they charged us 31 per bucket of beer, everything was fine until then, but after 9 at night the waitress came to start charging us for the Bucket at 51 per beer for 5 beers after all the rest of the day was 31 dollars and I ask him and he tells me that after 9 at night it costs 51, how is it the last straw that he comes to steal 20 dollars from us just for fun and I complain to him and he tells me that after 9 oclock he charges more at this time, Bad service for that, she thought we were drunk and came to charge us whatever she daringly wanted, and after that a lady grows up, she shows off that because she was drinking with a security guard at the nightclub, how bad! !!

After finding a parking lot that is not easy to find, they deny you entry if you are in shorts or shorts, with no other explanation than that it causes problems if you enter dressed like that, I laughed in their faces and left, plus the entrance fee is 35 dollars and really to be in a place like that where they mistreat you and charge you dearly you better leave, the security did me a favor by not letting me in, I saved money and bad service.

This is my 2nd time visiting this place... I recommend it, it is very entertaining. Good music. Shows. Customer service very good. The only thing is the food. I ordered a snack. And in reality it is dry food and the dough was burnt. of pork, more bacon than pork dough, the simple pieces of meat without flavor, they have to change cooks. Because a $40 dish is for quality... its the only thing wrong with this place. I give the rest a thousand stars. I hope they improve the dresser soon. This place is fun yes, but terrible treatment and attention. On Saturday I went with some friends and one of them was wearing Bermuda shorts (shorts) but a dress one, it wasnt beach shorts, he was well dressed with casual shoes and the doorman was super rude and in front of a huge line to get in he yelled at us that so I couldnt enter the premises. He didnt let us pass for wearing casual shorts.Whats wrong with these people? For Gods sake! We are in Miami, here it is super normal to wear summer attire during the months of May and August. Furthermore, they didnt let him pass in shorts, but they did let all the women pass in shorts. That is discrimination, machismo and patriarchy. The food is delicious, the service excellent, the waiters and the manager are always very attentive!! The prices, the services in general 10/10 I highly recommend it, I already know where I can take my family and make them feel like they are in Colombia while in Florida! 🥂🇨🇴

The place is very picturesque, organized and clean, the girls who serve are super friendly, the food was GREAT 👍 10/10, I loved it, everything was super fresh, my husband ordered a soup and I ordered a mojarra fish, the tostones were delicious, OMG the most delicious and fresh, hot freshly made, and you will say: well, Tostones are supposed to be like that! But No, there are other much more expensive restaurants, where they serve you tostones that were frozen and are stiff and tasteless like a flip-flop, such as At (Mondongos restaurant in Doral, )….
