Wow! As silly as it may sound, I have a spiritual experience every time I go here. The team is so expertly knowledgeable and attentive, that theyve helped to heal my body in ways I didnt even know I needed!! They genuinely take the time to get in tune to you and your comfortMy first trip was a solo massage gifted by my fiancé-- and each trip since, we have gone together for the couples massage. He ended up loving it too, so we decided to come back every 3 months!Highly recommend to anyone seeking some mindfulness and relaxation!

This place is amazing! Not only have I had the best massages here, but they also offer a variety of classes for all ages! My kids have participated in the Mindful Warriors Camp and Kids Yoga and both absolutely love it and always have a blast! April is such a great teacher! The kids are always excited to go and can’t wait for the next time! They get to do a variety of things and bring home crafts they’ve worked on. It’s just really a great time and experience and I can’t recommend it enough!

Me and my wife came for a couples massage and had a wonderful experience. Everyone had a lovely attitude and the atmosphere was calming and friendly. Shavon did an excellent job and helped relieve some shoulder pain i was having. I Definitely recommend this location!

Fist let me say that my husband and I come here without fail every year on vacation. The only negative I can think of is that they are sadly not located close to home!Every staff member has been amazing and I get the most amazing massages each and every time. My husband books our sessions and I have told him I don’t care which therapist I get because they are all outstanding.Having said that, I was able to enjoy a superb massage with Joe today. He told me he has over 20 years experience and boy did it show! I was feeling so great that our favorite bartender told me I looked like I had a massage because I looked so zen. (Shout out to Beth at Hinchey’s! We love you!)Don’t hesitate to book a massage here. I would have a hard time believing it wasn’t one of the best you’ve ever had! I really wanted to love my experience and even after days of reflecting on my massage, I wasn’t thrilled.The atmosphere is relaxing, the man I spoke with on the phone was very friendly, there was plenty of parking, but my massage and head massage fell short.I did the 80 minute massage and added the head massage with hot oil. What I didn’t like about the head massage was the comb she used and that I didn’t realize they wouldn’t rinse the oil out. The rinsing is on me, I could have asked and known that ahead of time but the comb was more scratchy and took away from the relaxing aspect. I would have been thrilled had she just used her hands.My disappointment with the massage is that she never asked if the pressure was ok so I spent the time she was working on my back wondering if she was going to ask (sometimes massages start light and once they get a feel for areas the pressure improves) and internally battling if I should say anything. I indicated firm on the intake form and also made a comment about how my knots were hiding from her because every time she would get near one, she would quickly move. I’m not sure if it was just ironic or because she didn’t want to work on my knots but I told her my neck, shoulders, and hips were the areas I had the most discomfort (I wrote it on the paper too) and my back and shoulders definitely didn’t get the attention they needed.I’m giving 4 stars because I could have spoken up more and there were good aspects but overall the massage wasn’t what I was looking for and I left disappointed.

I visit Art of Massage during every visit to the island. I had some physical issues this time and Gaby was phenomenal helping me feel significantly better. She was so well versed in understanding how to help me; it was so great!I also enjoyed an amazing facial with Kendra.Thank you, Art of Massage, for offering such wonderful and therapeutic services.If youre on the fence, just make time to for yourself. We booked a private session on the beach while visiting on a bachelorette trip. April was so wonderful to work with and everything about our experience was fabulous! April came to us at our resort and lead us through a relaxing, fun, and restorative session while listening to the waves crashing. It was the perfect addition to our weekend itinerary!

I run a women’s leadership retreat every year on Hilton Head Island we asked The Art of Massage and Wellness to facilitate yoga classes on the beach each morning and on site massages for our guests. They did a fabulous job! The yoga instructor was phenomenal and really tailored the yoga class to our group. The massages were incredible too! I sent a survey to my retreat guests asking them for feedback and every single attendee gave The Art of Massage and Yoga five stars! Without a doubt, will be working with them again next year.

An amazing experience. Shavon was our yoga teacher and massage therapist. Sandra was in charge of the facials and was amazing. Whether you are a local or a tourist definitely pay them a visit.

April and her team were fabulous today. Gabby was my specialist and she was amazing. I have no doubt anyone there is a rockstar. I am looking forward to returning again next summer when I am back in town.

I’ve been a happy client of Art of Yoga for over a decade now. I see Kendra regularly for facials and she’s excellent! She always guides me in the direction of exactly what my skin needs and I appreciate that all the products used are clean and non-toxic- no nasty chemicals here. 10/10 recommend!

We just spent 5 days in HH for a girls trip and April was amazing! She set us up with an amazing private yoga session with Kendra, the infrared sauna, and amazing massages. The shop is great as well. The BEST yoga studio and instructors! The variety of classes and events truly offer something for everyone. Ive been getting massages from Gabby for over 5yrs. I suffer from arthritis in my jaw and she taylors my sessions to my needs. Overall, staff and services are 10 of 10!

This place is Amazing , my wife and I discovered them years ago , this is where I got my first real , Massage , my wife had me try many other places but this , place basically fixed me , I didnt realize how tight and stressed I was , they were able to work out all, my issues at the time any every time I have gone back , mainly because the therapist care . its not just a job to them , they care , and make you as comfortable as possible, we will always return to The Art of Massge and yoga wellness spa , on new Orleans rd 😀

I absolutely love Art of Massage and Yoga! I enjoy the yoga classes and have also had a wonderful massage there. I am currently participating in a series for improving physical fitness, healthy eating, mindfulness and wellness. April is inspiring to work with. I also love yoga classes with Kendra and have take part I. Sound bowl session ( so amazing). This is my go to place for grounding my energy and improving myself. I personally use the tinctures they make to help my health. Kendra is a wonderful aesthetician. Her facial always help my skin look and feel amazing. She also is a fantastic yoga instructor you will feel amazing after a class with her. I have had many massage for the therapist here with great benefits from each one.

This family business has it all when it comes to wellness from relaxing spa services and products to wonderful yoga classes with offerings for all skill levels and ages. They have unique yoga workshops too! The staff here are extremely kind and knowledgeable about overall wellness. Our whole family has enjoyed going here and they treat you family! Highly recommend!

This is a nice space in a nice location. I have been taking my daughter there to Little Hippies class after school. Also, she had her birthday party there which was a blast. The owner is amazing, and my daughter really likes going there.

Very impressed! My boyfriend and I had a couples massage with Gaby and Becca and it was hands down the best massage weve ever had. Becca was very intuitive and calming as I was a bit nervous going into the appointment; she focused on the areas I had a lot of pain in and was able to make me feel brand new! The whole staff was nice and professional and made you feel that every need you may have was taken care of. They also have a great selection of crystals and products in the front to browse. Will definitely be going back!

Five of us had massages here last week and we all agreed they were terrific. The staff was friendly and experienced and went out of their way to accommodate our group. The atmosphere is more homey than fancy spa, and they seem to serve a mix of locals and tourists.

We did a private yoga session and it was amazing. Kendra was our instructor and she did wonderful adjustments. We were a varied group (70 year old plus two 40 year olds) and she made the class great for all of us. At our request, she also introduced us to the aerial slings and got all of us upside down, giving us all individual help. The studio was also super responsive about scheduling and helping us when we needed to reschedule. The studio is a lovely facility. I highly recommend visiting the Art of Massage for a yoga session. And if you can get a private session with Kendra, even better. It was a real highlight of our vacation.

Booked a last minute round of facials/massages for 4 ladies and Kim was super accommodating! She did the work to squeeze us all in even though they were virtually booked up. She communicated well and was a big help. Kendra did my facial and she really took the time to evaluate my skin and use products that would work best with my skin type. She gave me lots of great info and her neck/shoulder massage was amazing! Definitely a top-notch experience for the price! Will absolutely be back!

My husband and I visited The Art of Massage back in April for our Anniversary and all I can say is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! 🥰 Kendra and Gabriela were absolutely perfect. I got a massage for my birthday by Gabby and it was wonderful. She listened to my concerns and had the right amount of pressure that I needed to relax. I came back the next day and had Chakra Balancing with Becca and found the experience to be extremely insightful. You should also check out their shop. They have all kind of neat stones and lotions and mugs. I also booked a sound bath and a sound bath and group energy healing session for me and my boyfriend. So excited to have found a spa on HHI that I can vibe with.

A wonderful way to begin celebrating my birthday, Mackenzie was wonderful with my massage. She was gentle and firm when needed, is as if she knew where to exactly place the firmness needed to assist me and elevating me to total calmness.The place was easy to find and even though I called as a last minute service they accommodated me and created a package that gave me what I truely needed. They even honored me with a gift (add on service) a wonderful foot scrub. The service I had was the On the Go-1 hour yet it was customized to fit my needs and the availability; it’s just what I needed. Just in the area visiting I feel so uplifted and stress free. Go here you will not be disappointed. I know where I will come back in my next visit to Hilton Head, SC.

Paula is amazing and experienced. She has an intuitive and effective massage style that help kicked off my vacation just right. The spa is very nice and the rooms were comfortable. My only complaint is that I was unable to tip with a credit card afterwards because I paid online when I made the appointment. Take cash with you!

Very responsive to shoulder neck pain. Realized my urgent need. Cheval (I think was except!! Aldo recommended I go to Main Street urgent care and also Chiroprator she knew was good. Dr Tom Cole. As a nurse I’m a big believer in multi modality and using traditional medicine and complimentary massage and chiropractic ! I went Fromm a 10 in pain to a 3 in a day . 🎊🎊🎊

Best massage I have ever gotten. This is a personalized massage and doesn’t feel like the masseuse is just on “rinse and repeat” like so many other places. Actually opens the body up and increased my flexibility. My girlfriend and I love this place and we go every time we are in Hilton Head. I have tried finding similar masseuse elsewhere and it just is not the same.

By far one of the best massage experiences I have ever had. Everything was sanitary/very well kept up, and from someone that has anxiety about things like that it was perfect. Warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff to boot! Definitely will be coming back.

The calming environment and welcoming staff created a wonderful first massage experience for me! My therapist, Kenzie, was amazing. My stress and tension absolutely melted away. She even recommended some stretches I could do between sessions to augment the work she did on several areas. Ill definitely be returning!

It was my second and my husbands first time getting a massage at The Art of Massage while visiting Hilton head. The location is a little strange & slightly hidden but let me assure you that they provide a great massage experience. They are courteous on the phone and in person. We both enjoyed our massage therapists, which provided the perfect pressure and attention. We will certainly go back again when in town.

This was probably the best massage experience of my life. The place was clean and kept with a very pleasant hostess. I had the 50 minute massage with Kenzie Coleman and I swear on my life it felt like heaven. Everyone there was absolutely delightful and the whole place just had an aura of relaxation about it. I will be returning because honestly it’s the best massage I’ve had in the whole 19 years of my life!

I called and was able to make a last minute appointment for one of the restorative body treatments. It was a 75 minute treatment and was wonderful. It also included a massage to a certain extent. The facility was clean, quiet and the service was excellent. I will definitely go back when I am in the area.

I received my first ever facial with Bonnie at the Art of Massage and Yoga Spa. It was fabulous! Bonnie was so kind, caring and gentle. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. My face felt so soft and looked so good after-someone even commented on how great my skin looked! I can excited to go back for another facial with Bonnie!

My husband and I had a couples massage and facial when we were in town. They were both excellent. I was especially pleased with the facial as she offered me some helpful advice (I found at a lot of spas they just try to push their products so this was really nice). My husband enjoyed it also, he had never had one before.

Just to let you know, I bought an hour massage gift certificate for my husband but worried he couldn’t get in before the expiration date. I called and talked to the massage therapist I’d been to & bought the gift certificate from. She said there “really isn’t an expiration date” when I asked about it. ( we are there 5 months of the year.)So thinking nothing more of it, after Covid and when we were back, I called to make an appt for my husband. They said the therapist should not have told me this and they were already letting people delay using them during Covid. I called 3 times asking to speak with April and leaving messages for her to call me back. She never did. They said the therapist should not have told me that. But because she did, I felt they should have honored the $75 gift certificate. My husband had a small business and always honored gift certificates no matter how old they were. So if you get a gift certificate, just be sure you tell recipients not to let the expiration date pass.One last comment, I purchased some natural products plus was given several for a gift. Be aware those with oils in them turn rancid if not used quickly.

While visiting Hilton Head Island I was able to have a massage here at The Art of Massage and yoga Therapy. My massage therapist was Charla. She was wonderful, would highly recommend her. I’ve had several massages of the years and she ranks at the top. If you love deep tissue massage she was awesome. Of course she will tailor your massage to fit your needs.

Since moving to Hilton Head I have been trying different Massage locations to find one that has a professional staff well trained that show an appreciation of their clients health and pain. The Art of Massage and Yoga Therapy gives me this along with 90 minute massages that fit my schedule and a complete Natural Health area that continues to expand. Great people Gaby fantastic, looking forward to each month.

Im sure they do great massages but their cancellation policy is whack. Were on vacation, I booked these massages in advance, person I was bringing with me woke up with a sore throat so we thought better safe than sorry since we had traveled and got tested for covid, hers came back positive. So I called and cancelled the appointments, turns out they dont care if you have covid and want to protect their staff, they still charge you the full amount. Kinda sets the precedent that you should go get your massage and bypass getting tested huh?? Asked for the owner to call me, she/he never did. Real cool guys. 👎

Awesome place, awesome massage, and super friendly staff. Kendra did a 90 minute thai yoga massage and it was fabulous. After the massage I shopped in the apothecary and got to sample the elderberry elixir and the fire cider. Both were really good.

Im an experienced and licensed massage therapist. Came to Hilton Head for a trip with my family. Ive gotten massage from a lot professionals, teachers, and the like and I cant say enough how great April was. She has excellent techniques, and a wonderful knowledge of the human body. Its not often that I find a therapist of whom I can say that I would travel to see, but I would easily return to Hilton Head for the simple fact of knowing I have a great therapist to see. I want to send out a personal thanks to April for great work.

I go for a monthly massage for my neck and back . I have been going since April and Louie opened the business. I love the serenity of the spa . Each room is comfortable with a chair to sit on and a table for personal items. Nothing is forgotten. The herb room is wonderful for many holistic items. I would not go any place else. Congratulations on 10 years and wishing you 10 plus years more.

Ive only beed here once but im so happy i did. When i was in the Army i broke my back going through some training so i have struggled with back pain for a while now. A friend of mine recommended you guys and i decided to go. Let me tell you that it was one of the best decisions i have made. The VA has prescribed me so many medications and physical therapy but one session with you guys helped me so much. Mackenzie was so professional and made sure i was comfortable. I legit passed out and when she woke me up when it was over i felt like a changed person. The effects laste a couple days and i am so happy i made that decision. I’ll definitely be back sometime soon!!

I believe it was Becca who was my masseuse.. 🥴 i could be wrong about her name BUT ..um..is she a magician!?!? I told her i had been in car accidents and had seen physical therapists and chiropractors for the last 6 years and NOTHING…LITERALLY NOTHING AND NO ONE could help my pain. so i told her “my physical therapist said my first rib is out of place..but she never corrected it because she’s not a ‘real doctor.’”She said: “oohh 😃 can i play with that and see if i can help 🥴?”Of course i told her yes. I normally go for more gentle massages because i’ve been in SO MUCH PAIN for SO LONG that i didn’t realize how badly i needed a deep tissue massage. I would be lying if i said the majority of the massage didn’t hurt like hell..but MAN DID I NEED IT!!My arms were constantly falling asleep during the day and night… i was in “so much pain” that i didn’t realize how much pain i was in..until AFTER this massage.She put my first rib back into place.Because of her, i have now woken up every morning in ZERO pain!!!! I actually wanted to book another massage but i stupidly got burnt today on the beach 😭 but you will NOT regret seeing this AMAZING woman. like i said, it HURT!!! but..i woke up FEELING COMPLETE RELIEF!!! a feeling i never thought i’d feel again…BOOK BOOK BOOK! and TRUST HER! she KNOWS what she is doing. 💜🫶🏽🥹 if i could give her a present, i would. THATS how much my pain relief means to me and she actually DID relieve my pain. 🫶🏽

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had! We were running late because of a trip from Savannah. The traffic was backed up and worse than we thought. I called to reschedule. The lady on the phone, April, was very rude to me. She told me that I would be charged, couldnt reschedule, and went on about how her therapist had to drive 30 minutes to the spa. I cant control how far their therapists live from work. She even escalated her voice to a near yell. My mom could hear her in the passenger seat. She refused to give me the owners name or number and ended it with a Have a Nice Day and hung the phone up on me. I had to call her back. Im sorry, but this is not how you deal with customers. This place needs to hire someone that can keep their cool on the phone and put the customer first. I would have gladly rescheduled to another time or another day. Do yourself a favor and try a different place.

Thank you so so much for having such a great facility and wonderful staff! I had horrible back pain and jeanay did a fantastic job. Its really hard to find people willing and able to do a a good deep tissue. Its also really hard to find a place that specializes in neuromuscular therapy. Honestly if youre used to basic relaxation massage elsewhere do yourself a favor and try out art of massage, you WILL be hooked. Aches and pains, stress, headaches, frozen shoulder, etc. everyone there is super friendly and professional and trained to specifically target and treat the condition. 10/10 five stars! I cant thank you you enough!

Did not get a good massage here from Emily. Would not recommend Emily but the other massage therapists would be good.
