Tomica gave me a fusion massage (medium pressure) for 90 min. It was fantastic! The massage tables seemed a bit on the wider side and more comfortable to me (soft and supportive). The location I went to was in the Heights area in an older house converted to a business. Great location, upfront staff was very professional and I will definitely be back soon! Come by and let My Spa Joy help you feeling better! I have increased blood flow, better flexibility and feel much looser. It’s fantastic. 5 out of 5!

One of the best massage places in town! Tomica gave me a 60 minute fusion massage and she was amazing. She was very attentive to which areas needed more work, and gentle otherwise. The front desk staff is very nice and accommodating. It was a great experience overall.

Great experience from the moment you arrive. I walked in 30 minutes early to my appointment and was greeted by name at the door by a friendly host. I waited in a very cute waiting area for about 20 minutes. My therapist was professional and took her time, especially on the areas I told her. It is definitely a little pricy, but it was worth it imo. The one downside I would say is parking, but I was aware of that ahead of time and decided to get dropped off instead of driving.

Took this class to expand my abilities as a practitioner. The class was interactive and very educational. Hopefully you will also get Kasey, who is fabulous. It was also fun to review anatomy of the face and the functions of all of the muscles. Injections should be done by a qualified injector and anyone injection should ABSOLUTELY take this class. No one likes ptosis ;) Don’t wait and sign up today if you are thinking about expanding your practice.

I had a wonderful 90 minute deep tissue massage with Ricardo today! He did a great job talking through my preferences and focal points beforehand, and he really got into my knots while also lengthening and stretching my muscles. I feel so fabulous!I also had a great experience with the front office staff. My massage was originally scheduled for the Friday after the derecho, and while they were without power, they were very communicative and rescheduling was a breeze. Thanks, all!

To celebrate my daughters birthday we had a mom-daughter massage. It was amazing!!! Alicia and Tamika were outstanding! My Spa Joy was amazing! We received a gift voucher as a wedding gift and got a couples massage. The ladies were both warm and welcoming and gave great massages, everything was explained clearly and we were asked what we needed from the experience which I thought was a nice touch. Visiting my bff in Houston and found My Spa Joy on an internet search. Helena is awesome! She was gentle and thorough with the dermaplane. The hydrofacial followed a mask and light therapy completed my visit. My face looked amazing! Cant wait to return. The historic house was also very inviting and all staff were very nice and helpful.

Great massage, even better masseuse. Ive had neck / shoulder / chest connectivity problems and she seemed to know what she was doing. She stretched out those areas really nicely. I feel I need more work, but for a first time Im impressed. I had a migraine and I think they have that package so I think they wanted to help me by massaging my head. That only hurt me but I didnt want to say anything because it was a very nice gesture. Also adjust pressure and you will have a good time. Other than that great.

Brought my wife here for facials and massages for our anniversary. They were able to do one of us on the facial and the other on the massage in the same room, and then we swapped. The ladies were awesome! I would even say this place was better than the Trellis Spa at the Houstonian. The prices were great and we stayed at a cute B&B just down the road.

I really enjoyed my visit to My Spa Joy today. Tomica did a great job on my signature massage - it was really effective, I felt like she zeroed in on every single knot or area of tension and addressed it without the pressure being too deep or painful. I also enjoyed the incorporation of stretches into the massage. The space itself is also nice, it’s a cozy little house in the heights. Because the house is historic, it doesn’t seem super well insulated and there’s a bit more noise than other more traditional spa locations, but it didn’t really bother me. The service itself was so great and reasonably priced. I will definitely come back in the future!

If you are looking for someone to do deep tissue I would recommend Ricardo. I had the best massage I have ever had! I will for sure be coming back and continuing to book with him!

This was my first spa visit (Ever),and My Spa Joy exceeded my expectations. I love the fact that the spa is located in a historic building.The aromatic smells and music made the atmosphere comfortable and cozy.My massage therapist Alecia did a wonderful job explaining the process, and an excellent job giving me a full body Swedish massage. Her great personality was warm and comforting.Im from New Jersey and plan to make My Spa Joy an annual tradition.

Incredible and relaxing experience! I indulged in the 60 min body scrub, 90 min massage and 60 min facial to enjoy a spa day. Each one of the staff members were very friendly, attentive and had great customer service. All the services were worth the price and were reasonable compared to similar services in the area. I came here in January for the first time as a gift from a friend. My experience was so amazing that I immediately booked a second appointment for myself and my best friend (for our birthday gift!)I’ve been looking forward for today’s massage and it was just as enjoyable as I remembered it. Typically with other massages, I feel the that the time goes by so quick. But at My Spa Joy, it’s truly so relaxing and I lose track of time.I highly recommend as a gift for yourself or others! Had a massage with Lule and I highly recommend her! She had very strong hands for all my tight spots, yet she still made it feel relaxing and enjoyable (which isn’t typical!) Will definitely be booking with her again.

This massage was a gift to me from a dear friend who knew I needed some self-care but also knew I wouldnt do it unless she basically bought & paid for me to go. My friend did her homework and my experience with Shay was just what I needed. Shay listened to my needs, concerns, and no go zones. I felt so relaxed afterwards that I went home and napped for 2 hours. Dont discount what a good massage can do for your body & mind. Just book it & ask for Shay!

I had a great experience here. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Netta. She used just the right amount of pressure and did wonders for a couple areas I asked her to focus on. Scheduling was also ridiculously easy. It’s definitely now my go-to place for massages!

My massage at My Spa Joy with Tamika blew me away. I have been getting massages for 20 years and I dont think Ive ever been so satisfied with the pressure and techniques for the entire session the way I was with Tamika. She really has a gift. I asked for Swedish and to just completely relax and I zoned out and actually passed out at one point within minutes. I cannot wait to go back! My mother in law was also with me and she too was blown away by how amazing her masseuse was (Shae). Im so excited to come back!

My husband booked us a couples massage, and guess what — I found someone who has a very very similar technique and routine! MySpaJoy was able to open fairly soon after the storm hit Houston and I booked a Swedish massage with them the day of as I had some soreness in my back. There are a few spots of street parking for this business. Also note that the business is located inside a house. I had the massage with Alesia /Alicia and she was great. The pressure was just right. I will come back soon to book longer session.

The muscle on my right shoulder that connected up to the occipital nerve and down my back, and had been in a lot of pain for about a week. I told my son that I was thinking of getting a massage to iron out the pain and swelling but didn’t know of a good spa. My Spa Joy was highly recommended to me by my son and his girlfriend and said that it was worth every penny and boy were they right! I chose the 90 minute massage with Netta as my massage therapist and she really listened. I walked out of there with little pain, I could move my neck from side to side which I hadn’t been able to do in a week. She also recommended what I needed to do when I got home to knock out what little pain I had left. My wife and I did a hot stone couples massage and it was by far one of the best and most relaxing messages I had ever gotten. My shoulders and neck were tight before the massage but I felt much better afterwards. Highly recommend this place.

Tomica is an amazing massage therapist! She is competent, gentle, and patient; creating a very comfortable and relaxing experience. She offers a unique sequence with varying techniques and positions. She applies different modalities bringing in a holistic approach. She emphasis on joint mobility and stretching. She is very knowledgeable about the body’s anatomy and modified her pressure all throughout without me having to make any suggestions, providing a more client-specific experience. She also gives great recommendations at the end of your session. Highly recommend booking with Tomica, especially if you’re needing prenatal/postpartum massages! It was my first time getting a hydrafacial after all my girl friends raved about it. Helena is awesome and made me feel so relaxed. I purchased a package of hydrafacials and cannot wait to go again. My skin is feeling amazing and hydrated, and I feel absolutely FABULOUS.

My daughter had a hydro facial which she raved about, and my massage with Carlos was great. He listened and it was definitely a therapeutic massage which I needed. I would highly recommend both services.

I had a poor experience at this spa. Right off the bat, my masseuse smell like cigarette smoke. It was very hard to relax with that smell constantly getting wafted into my face during the massage. I am sensitive to cigarette smoke and have asthma, so I was nervous that my asthma was going to get triggered and could not really relax. Every time I felt like I was finally drifting off into relaxation i would get another waft of the cigarette smoke and tense back up. I felt like masseuses movements were somewhat disorganized. Not smooth and fluid, like the movements I’ve gotten at other spas. I also paid for a 60 minute massage, but she only massaged for about 45 minutes. The building is also on a busy street, so there was a lot of road noise that limited relaxation as well. I also opted to get a hot stone massage, and the hot stones were merely placed on top of my back and in my palms, and not used during the actual massage like I have experienced at other supplies.

It looks like somehow my review from a few months ago got deleted. Ms Morenike Moreils is the mean spirited bully. She harasses people who have received poor services at her spa instead of providing better service. I just wanted to make everyone aware that has darker skin DO NOT GET ANY CORRECTIVE SKIN PROCEDURES AT THIS SPA! I went in for a facial to correct my dark spots in January of this year and all they did was make my spots worse. Months later and im still so displeased with the damage they caused. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST STAY AWAY COMPLETELY! The high ratings come from them offering $25 off your next service if you leave a review within 24 hrs of your initial service. Please for your own benefit continue looking elsewhere. The owner is a liar. She is the bully. You can look through the other one star reviews to see how she speaks to ppl. Just BEWARE. Do more research. Pay attention to the one star reviews. They tell you so much! And if you do choose to still visit i pray you don’t run into the damage that i did. All of the energy she has put into replying back to my public review she could have used in actually trying to help fix the damages i received before i decided to write a public review. I left many very nice messages with her staff by the way just asking if the owner could reach out to me bc i left her establishment feeling defeated. But nothing. For weeks and weeks. And then i started getting threats via text message from her so i decided to make my complaints public so no one else would have to deal with this from a business owner that obviously doesn’t have a moral compass. Just please be aware everyone.

Despite being extremely late, they went on to give me the most rejuvenating massage in my remaining time. Both therapist and receptionist were very accommodating, welcoming, and provided a great experience in the short amount of time I was there .

First time here and the girl at the front desk was very sweet and super welcoming :) I think the scalp massage with Morgan was relaxing but okay. Very mellow person and we had a nice conversation! I did notice my scalp is a little sore. Also, I had a facial for the first time with Helena and it was super amazing! She was very knowledgable about what was going on my skin, what I needed to take care of it and very funny!! Would definitely come back again!

Bought my gf a nice spa(ghetti) day treatment for her bday. I was impressed but the important thing is that she was very happy and the results pf her stay were noticeable. Shes been through quite a bit and it made me happy that these guys really brought her some much needed relaxation. I was thoroughly distracted by their fandelier... 🤣💀HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Let’s talk happy hour,I had an amazing time here. What a cute place. You can have a mimosa while you wait. The massage was amazing I walked out feeling like a new person. Miriam the receptionist was so lovely and kind and Morgan my massage therapist was fantastic . I truly needed to just zen out counterintuitive to how chatty I’m usually am- but I felt free to just “be”. The ambience and the staff of my spa joy makes this place wondrous to be. This was my first visit to My Spa Joy and the minute my session started with Beatrice, she immediately found my problem areas and went right to work. Once complete, she explained my issues and provided stretches I could do at home between appointments.I will definitely be returning.

Did a couple massage! First time massage for my boyfriend and he loved it! He really needed that! I’ve been to several massage places in Dallas since I’m from there, but this massage place is the best one on my top list. The young lady, was very sweet and she massaged me everywhere and I felt so relaxed. They do offer champagne or mimosas while you wait. The atmosphere is welcoming and calming.

Both of my daughters suggested I try a massage here, so I did and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. It was very clean and the staff kind and welcoming. My massage therapist was very knowledgeable and experienced. I left completely relaxed and happy! I highly suggest others to book a massage. I hope to try a facial as well.

I have been coming to My Spa Joy, the House of Angels in the Heights, for over a year. Their customer service is impeccable, arguably even moreso than the services themselves (which within itself are obviously amazing)! The receptionists (Alandra & Miriam), masseur (Ricardo), masseuses (Nike, Charisma, Morgan, Tamla, Trezure, Lule, Phylicia, Adelina, Athena & Nitta) and esthetician (Helena) have all been angels to me.The receptionists are very understanding to the point that they will go above & beyond to try to work with you (if there are any difficulties). The spa’s fair but firm policies are more than reasonable from a business point of view, which is well articulated on their website (e.g., the 24-hour/48-hour cancellation policies). They were even willing to correct a billing mistake that occurred more than one year ago (I don’t know too many businesses that would do that, no less a wellness spa establishment!)The heating pads used during the massages/body scrubs are very clutch & tailored to the individual (although it is difficult even for me to decide which services to get due to their many options!) The massages here (especially the deep tissue) are holistic in nature and focus on getting rid of the muscle knots in a slow & deliberate manner (which is much more relaxing, therapeutic & effective than the aggressive techniques used at Chinese massage establishments).Having said all this, I strongly recommend My Spa Joy for massages, body scrubs & facials! 😊

My boyfriend and I have a lovely couples massage! He has a very physical job and is constantly asking for back and foot massages from me. I’m no professional so for Christmas I recommended he try having a real massage. It was his first professional massage ever and he can’t stop talking about how great of an experience it was. This cute little house holds such talented masseuses. Along with it’s so charming! I was greeted by Adalina for my prenatal massage today. She was fantastic. She recommended the Spa blend for my oil and that’s my new favorite! My 75min flew by as she left feeling extremely relaxed. Lightning was great, table warmer on and a cozy room. If you want a true spa treatment, you must book.

Found this amazing place on tik tok decided to come, starting from the front desk person Miriam that got me an appointment right away and she is super friendly and welcoming to Ricardo my massage therapist is amazing. He is very profesional and his massage i can say was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back and definitely recommend this place. Must visit!!!

I was able to book a day ahead for a “spa retreat” consisting of a scrub & a two-hour massage. Booking via text was a breeze. The location is great & the business is well-appointed. I was offered water and champagne shortly after arrival as I waited for my services to begin. Ricardo did a superb job for my massage - very attentive & professional. Morgan did a nice job with my scrub & scalp massage. I was able to rinse off in the shower, just outside the treatment room. I had an amazing experience and will be back. I’ve found my “spa home” in Houston!

I LOVE My Spa Joy! This was my third time here and I have always had a pleasant experience. Today I had a facial and Helena was amazing and really knowledgeable about my skin and the hormonal acne I have. My other two previous visits were massages and they were simply amazing! I am so happy that I have a spa nearby that I can trust and go to for a facial/massage. I even brought my mom and sisters here for a spa day and they loved it as well!

Amazing experience! Upon entrance the environment is bright, clean, and inviting. The hostess was very kind and attentive (on the phone as well when I called to schedule same day). Mimosa was delicious as the hostess was kind enough to ask me how I liked my mimosas (more OJ and champagne), which is a small detail but something that made my experience more enjoyable. My masseuse was Lule and she was fantastic! She ensured she understood where my problem areas were which was evident by her work. She made sure the pressure of the massage was good and the my modesty was maintained throughout my experience. I felt brand new after I got off the table. Seriously satisfied with this experience. I will certainly return and tell all my friends. If youre looking for somewhere to get a massage My Spa Joy is 100% worth a try.

I came here for a 60 minute couples massage and absolutely loved it! The building is small and quaint, making it the perfect intimate environment. Everyone was very welcoming and made the experience very comfortable. I was taking back for my massage quickly after I arrived for my appointment and was given exceptional customer service.

I LOVE this place! I’ve seen Lule twice already for my prenatal massage and she does a great job getting out all the knots and making sure I’m comfortable. I had my first massage here with Lule, and it was hands down probably the best massage Ive ever had, and it was only neck back and shoulders. I will definitely be scheduling another, but full body this time! Just to give you an idea, I had a full body massage at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando a few days prior, and this one blew it out of the water. 10/10 recommend and will be back soon.

Recently visited this place and got the signature massage by Ricardo with peppermint aroma (leaves a very nice cooling sensation) and hot stones. He did amazing making me feel relax and safe in his hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a self care day.

I absolutely adore the new location!!!! I got a peppermint hot oil neck & back massage as well as a foot massage (and it came with a complimentary exfoliating scrub), it was HEAVENLY. My masseuse hit all my pressure points and kneaded out all of my knots. It was exactly what I needed as my job is very strenuous on my body. This is my go to massage place for sure.

We decided go book it based on all the reviews and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. I’m from California and have had many massages but this was easily the best massage of my life. Sanchez worked on me and Alisha I believe on my husband. Sanchez created a fusion massage with Swedish, deep tissue, and some stretching for mines and I walked out of there feeling 10x better. Made another appointment to go back to her before my flight back to California lol. Oh and the price was great too compared to all these other places we were looking at. Great deal and great massage, definitely would recommend! :)

Amazing experience all around from the moment you walk in. I scheduled a last min (3 hrs in advance) appt with Suzlynn. She is incredibly amazing at what she does. I had my usual facial in mind and she recommended another one based on my skin. Im glad I listened. Loved the cleanliness of the place and their products are great. Receptionist was sweet and helpful. I dont go anywhere else. This should be a monthly routine for everyone but unfortunately we get so caught up with life that we neglect pampering ourselves sometimes. I know I do that a lot. PS. I’m extremely happy with my experience at my spa joy. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and offered a mimosa or champagne. I had just enough time to enjoy my drink before my service started. Then I had the best massage I’ve had in a long time. I opted for the fusion 90 minute massage because my body has been really sore and I needed a lot of knots worked out to have some relief. Today was my first experience at My Spa Joy. I received the acne clearance treatment facial from Helena, and it was fabulous. After constant masking for my job and my allergies flaring up, my skin was a wreck. Helena talked me through the experience and explained what she would be doing to help my irritated, inflamed skin. It is already looking so much better immediately after my facial. Looking forward to becoming a repeat customer.

Charisma was absolutely wonderful. I felt welcomed, pampered, and so relaxed. I had a two- hour session as a summer gift to myself and Charisma did a wonderful job from start to finish. The sweet receptionist greeted me at the door with kindness and humor. I felt right at home. I am here on a getaway vacation BUT this place is so good, I am literally considering coming quarterly. Such attentiveness and respect from beginning to end from phone scheduling to walking out after the service. Clear communication throughout. Also, the building/home is historic and beautiful with stained glass and it is kept clean and lovely. Isometimes question too many “5 stars” but I see why they are highly rated. Keep it up Spa Joy because you all were worth the drive.

Do not let the 5 star reviews fool you, I’m sure the only reason they have so many is because people are incentivized to leave a good review for a $25 future spa credit. My husband and I went for a couples massage, it was mediocre at best. My masseuse asked me at the beginning what areas I wanted worked on and I told her my shoulders, well it seemed like she actively avoided that area. The last 15 minutes of the massage I asked her to do my shoulders and she seemed annoyed and then proceeded to massage the side of my neck which was honestly painful and not necessary. She also put my arms in awkward positions when “massaging” them it was uncomfortable and have never had that experience. I wasn’t going to say anything but the receptionist noticed I was less than thrilled with the experience and asked me how it went and I was honest. She was nice and told me she would give me a discount for the bad experience. I didn’t ask for that but I was pleased with it. About half an hour later I received a text message from joy spa saying that they escalated the situation to management and that they were going to give me a 30 minute neck, back and shoulder massage. I checked my account and there was NO discount. I just feel like if you tell someone that you’re going to give them a discount, do it. All in all I wouldn’t recommend.

We’ve had two couples massages here now and they are the best! From the moment you walk in the door, the environment is relaxing. The massage therapists are communicative and care to make your experience better. We don’t go anywhere else for our massage needs!

I honestly feel like I got a sports massage from a regular massage price. My fiancé and I just left here feeling amazing. Both of us felt like we got the perfect amount of pressure to slightly push our limits but at the same time feel extremely relaxing. These ladies seemed very professional. They were ten times better than massage heights and literally half the price. Won’t bother with massage heights ever again

Recently, I came here on my birthday with my husband for a couples fusion massage. My husband received a great massage and even fell asleep from how relaxed he was! My massage was a different story. The massage therapist was nice, but there were a few things that made it difficult for me to relax. She had long nails that eventually touched the inside of my mouth after she touched my feet (very unhygienic for both of us and felt disgusting and uncomfortable for me). During the scalp massage, she was making this tiny circles with the tips of her nails in my scalp, and I could feel my hair knotting up so badly at my scalp (this also did not feel good and this technique made a loud scrunching sound in my ear). I said I was there to relax, not for flexibility, but she massaged my back then did a hard press down on the middle of my back, which cracked it. I’ve never had this experience at a massage, nor do I ever want to again. She then continued doing these leg/arm str etches, and popping my fingers (a very poppy, stretchy massage, not relaxing). The massage was overall okay, but I didn’t like some of these things that stressed me out throughout the 90 minutes. Also, I’m a small person (110 lbs), she acted like it was super difficult to lift my upper back up to massage underneath because she kept making all this noise with the massage table when trying to get underneath me. It was an experience, but not for me. I chose this place because of all the glowing google reviews.

Me and my sister came for the Peppermint Bliss massage with the hot stones to celebrate my birthday. It was a lovely experience. The young lady who greeted us was so friendly! Both of our massage therapist were great. They asked us questions to tailor the massage to our needs. They made us feel comfortable and always checked to make sure we were okay with the amount of pressure applied throughout the experience. The combination of the cooling peppermint and the warmth from the hot stones really helped with my muscle soreness. We left feeling relaxed!

My husband and I went in for a couples massage. The staff was friendly and attentive. The massage went very well. Our only note is the fact that it was really hot in the massage room, which made the end of the massage not very pleasant. The thermostat read 77 degrees, which is pretty toasty and we were under the sheets/blankets, which made it really hot. I went to Ms. Sanchez for a TMJ massage. Twice now in the span of two weeks. Each time was amazing. The first massage she focused primarily on my jaw and for the first time in years, I felt my jaw relax and move to center.(Note: expect your jaw to be swollen for several davs depending on how severe your TMJ issue is and how much pressure she has to apply to get it to relax.) Two weeks later, my jaw was still pretty relaxed so most of the visit was spent on my neck. She stretched it out a lot and found so many sore spots I didnt even know I had. The receptionist, Miriam is also pretty nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for a TM & neck/scalp massage.

I love the fact they offer champagne as an option and requested a glass. The champagne was chilled and taste pretty decent. My masseuse(Tracy) greeted me before my appointment time. What a wonderful experience! The staff seemed happy to see me, and Helena did a fantastic job! She explained every step of the facial -- and even better, did not try to sell me anything I didnt need. The first e-mail I received after the treatment was a thank you, and there were detailed after facial care directions. I booked the Signature Facial and my facialist, Helena, also added LED therapy to help with some breakouts. The facial was very soothing and relaxing, and I left with my skin feeling refreshed and super hydrated. My facialist reviewed my current skincare routine and asked what my skincare concerns are and recommended a couple products to add to my routine. She was very gentle throughout the entire process and gave me a heads up before performing the LED treatment and applying the ice rollers so that I wouldnt be surprised/alarmed. In addition, I feel like the price point of the facials are very fair compared to other spas in the loop. Excited to start incorporating facials into my skincare and relaxation routine.

The facial was very soothing and definitely cleared up our pores too. For both, I relaxed so much I fell asleep a few times.The place was inside a nice house. Waiting room-wise, we were checked in on and got some drinks (including a Mimosa). Inside the actual room, they set up a very relaxing atmosphere with low lighting and nice music. Parking-wise, you can park on the street like we did or the driveway (I believe).

Today was my first time at My Spa Joy! I try to get massages on a regular basis. I enjoy trying new spas out, so I had been meaning to try this local Heights place out. I appreciated many attributes of this establishment and its services.1) I liked that My Spa Joy offers many types of services aside from standard massages; I received a 60-minute fusion massage (part swedish/part deep-tissue) plus a 30-minute facial massage (that included lymphatic drainage strokes and an electric facial tool).2) The communication was timely, and the process was super easy; I received a text right after booking with a link to the massage intake and consent form to complete. I believe this could have been done in person still, but the convenience of the mobile version was nice. 15 minutes before my appointment, I received another text on what to expect once I arrive.3) Staff is very friendly and accommodating throughout the whole process!4) Morgan was a really good massage therapist. She incorporated some body stretches, aroma therapy, and other techniques that I hadnt received in other massages that I have received before. It felt amazing and the massage pressure was just right!I definitely intend to return for another massage and schedule an appointment for a facial service. If you are looking for a relaxing, clean, and soothing experience, I recommend this place and I highly recommend Morgan!

My husband and I decided on a whim to go to this spa while in the area. I called late the afternoon and was given an appointment for the next morning. This spa is nice! It is clean, well maintained, and the service is impeccable. Our couples massage was very relaxing. We enjoyed both therapists; the therapists made sure that the massage pressure that we liked. Then only thing that takes away from the experience is the parking situation. Understanding that this spa is located in a historic home, helps to negate the parking snafu. This was an awesome experience - we will be back soon!

Had a great massage here with Tomika this morning. This spa is a real neighborhood gem.

Took my daughter and myself to the spa as her birthday gift. We both loved our massages, so relaxing. I went in with tension in my shoulders and neck and was totally relieved upon leaving. Upon entering the spa one is warmly greeted and the aroma is very pleasant. Would highly recommend!

I FEEL AMAZING!! This is the first time I’ve been there. I’ve been to many places to get massages but My Spa Joy took the cake! Morgan massaged every inch of my body. I had a 90 min massage. It began with a big piece of chocolate, spa music and massage begins. It is literally head to toe. I’ve been to other places and pay a hefty price to be massaged back side only. Not here! You are massaged front and back, scalp, chest and ears including entire body. You definitely have to try it!! You will not be disappointed! Enjoy 😊

Loved my experience! Very friendly staff, adorable aesthetic of the space, and awesome massage and facial! The space is a converted historical home that has a very cute and cozy feel. Everyone there is very kind and attentive to all of your questions and needs. My massage was excellent, and tailored to my needs in terms of where I needed the most focus. The facial was also relaxing, and my skin felt so fresh and nourished afterwards. Pricing of services are very reasonable as well. Ill definitely be back again, highly recommend!

Had such a great experience here! Went for a 90 min couples massage, and was pleased to be greeted with complimentary champagne. Both of our massage therapists were excellent and gave us both attention to the areas we mentioned were bothering us. We will definitely be going back. I’m eager to try the other services they offer as well.

Just got a 90-minute massage here yesterday, and it was a great experience. The atmosphere if very homely and relaxing, and my therapist, Morgan, was excellent and very responsive to my needs (focal points, pressure level, etc.). Would definitely recommend this place!!

I just had my first prenatal massage at My Spa Joy yesterday & it was wonderful! The house on Heights Blvd is adorable & when you walk in you are greeted by a great smelling reception area (I smell everything so intensely right now, so it was really appreciated that the place smelled amazing)! Everyone was so sweet to me & I was called back for my massage really quickly. They explained the logistics of the prenatal massage to me as I’d never had one before & they made me feel so comfortable. I’d definitely recommend this spa & I plan on going back soon!

It was such a pleasant and most wonderful experience! From the front desk where they offered me something to drink to the amazing hands of Lule, and finalizing to a refreshing shower. The quaint cottage is clean and inviting. Everyone was super nice and friendly. I will return!

Found this place while scheduling a me, myself, and spa day. Their many facials is what caught my eye. I choose the Basic Hydration with Helena and it was great. It as not uncomfortable as she completed my service but actually relaxing compared to others who dig at your face. My skin was so dewy after this service! I was so excited to come back I wanted to book 2 more appointments. I will definitely be coming back to try their natural chemical peel.

This has been the BEST massage I’ve gotten in all of Houston (I’d been to 4 other different places prior to). I will never go anywhere else! Tracey was very professional and thorough. The receptionist was very kind, and the house is very clean and decorated tastefully. Highly recommend!

This is SUCH a hidden gem! I regret that we dont live closer! My husband and I came to Houston on a quick getaway to (belatedly) celebrate my 40th birthday. 🎉 We were spending one night in town and we really wanted a couples massage. I found My Spa Joy and they had a couple of choices for 3 days in advance. We ended up scheduling for the day we got into town. After several hours in the car we were more than ready for some relaxation. We were offered champagne or mimosas upon arrival. The house is really cute and super clean. Its professionally done on the inside without taking away the quaint, historic style home feel. Everyone is incredibly friendly! My massage therapist was Julia and my husband had Lula(?) I believe. I had a fusion massage (part relaxing, part deep tissue) and my husband had deep tissue. We both LOVED it. I walked in with having a sore shoulder from a pulled muscle and Ive had Bells Palsy for almost 4 years which has resulted in more tension in my neck muscles. Julia made me feel like a new woman!! My shoulder felt so much better and the tension in my neck and face had been released. Can I transport her home please?! She is amazing! My husband felt so wonderful too!! We absolutely loved our experience and the massages. We will return again any time we come into town without a doubt!! Thank you for an incredible experience and making my birthday celebration FANTASTIC!

I received a gift certificate for Mothers Day from my husband and son. I chose a 90 min deep tissue massage and I LOVED it - I didnt want to leave! The service was professional and timely. My massage therapist was wonderful and paid attention to the areas I wanted her to focus on during the massage. I will definitely be back for another massage or facial soon.

I had a fantastic experience - Shea is a pro with great energy who put me at ease and left me feeling flexible and rejuvenated after my upper back, neck and shoulder massage. The spa has a lovely atmosphere in a beautiful, old Heights home. Highly recommend My Spa Joy!

This place was recommended to me by a friend for my husband. Treated him for Fathers day to pamper his feet as he is a diabetic and neglects his feet. This place is amazing so Victorian looking and staff is extremely friendly. I waited for him in the waiting room which was very comfortable, he said the masseuse asked him question and to say if the pressure was to much. He was very happy saying he can feel the flow of blood better in his legs. This is something he need to do more often and I will definitely bring him back here. I highly recommend this spot!

Both of our masseuses were so great! They gave amazing massages, were professional and kind. Great couples massage at a great price of $195 for a 90 minute couples massage (best price anywhere out of all the other places I looked i to). Very relaxing and enjoyable. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our couples massage. The receptionist offered us a beverage we both had champagne to kickoff date night. The place is cute and clean. We had Lule and Maritza as our masseuses, they both listened to our focus areas and did an incredible job! Next day, we are both still feeling relaxed. We will be returning soon!

This place is great! They just moved into a cute and clean house with charm, and from my initial email requesting a last minute appointment to our services to checking out, we had a lovely experience. My sis in law enjoyed her prenatal massage, and my summer scrub with Morenike was amazing. She is a true professional with years of experience. She told me what to expect, massaged in the scrub that smelled and felt amazing, and was very kind and engaging the whole time. I’ll be back soon!
