Had a wonderful first experience and sculpting facial!! Loved the entire visit from start to finish. The robes, relaxation room and refreshments were a great touch.

I purchased a package for 4 luxury pedicures which are supposed to be 50 minutes long and are $75 which is very expensive for a pedicure but my thought was it was going to be a wonderful pedicure worth every penny. HOWEVER, unfortunately that was not the case as it was a very express pedicure lasting only 28 minutes (including dry time) with about a minute of massage which was very disappointing.I didnt say anything the first time and just left disappointed but then the very same thing happened again so I decided to say something this time and was told the technician does that to all of the clients so they are aware of the situation (which is also evident by other reviews). This took me very off-guard that they know there is a problem but have not done anything about it.I asked if I could convert my remaining 2 pedicures to something different and also asked if they could please address the lost time of my pedicures since it was so significant (over 20 minutes lost on each pedicure). If it had been 5 or so minutes lost, it wouldnt have been a big deal but over 20 minutes lost when you pay $75 for a luxury pedicure is a big deal.Woodhouse said they would get back with me but it took almost a month of me calling multiple times each week to get a resolution which was unfortunately very disappointing. They said they would let me use the credit I had for my remaining pedicures for a different service but would not do anything about the fact that I paid for a $75 luxury 50 minute pedicure TWICE and only received an express mediocre pedicure that lasted less than 30 minutes.Sadly, this location does not seem to care about the feedback theyve received on their services nor care about making it right for clients who have had a bad experience.The staff is very nice and courteous but its very disappointing that there is nothing the location or corporate is willing to do to address this situation that happened twice and that has happened to many of their clients.

Beautiful spa, quiet and relaxing. My pedicure service was not as described. Appointment was 1:00, at 1:02 I was greeted by the manicurist while sitting in the relaxation room. The pedicure was okay, if I were picky, I would complain about my cuticles not being trimmed, polish on top of my cuticles, polish still on my skin……but the thing that really got me, was I was walked back to “dry” in the waiting room at 1:36. My chosen service was a 50 minute luxurious pedicure. I was given the pedicure as a gift. I go to front desk and pay the difference between my $50. Certificate and the $65.00 cost. I was asked if everything was good. Answering, “No it was only a 36 minute pedicure”. Response, “I’m sorry about that, it’ll be $15.00, do you want a tip put on your card?”Moral of the Woodhouse Spa, you don’t always get what you pay for! Grrrr

I highly recommend to not book with the Vintage Woodhouse location. The service is terrible and unwilling to help. My wife and I had booked a couples massage but had to reschedule after one of our kids became sick the day of our appointment. Instead of allowing us to reschedule, this location charged us full price and pretty much told us tough luck. We will not be rebooking with this location due to this experience.

Booked a couples massage and facial and we were blown away! We felt like royalty and was completely at peace the entire time. First the robes are so luxurious and comfy. The relaxation room was beautiful and offered infused water, a ray of alcoholic drinks, and healthy snacks. We were able to spend quality time in here before and after our treatments. My husband was totally impressed with the selection of beers and that his IPA was served in an ice cold tall glass. He said his facial was incredible and the couples message were perfect and was in a perfect room with tranquil ambiance. I was originally going to book downtown at ZaSpa or Trellis but Im so thankful I found this day spa close to home. Totally ready to book a girls day there!

Most reviews are positive and I never leave any kind of review but I had to this time. I actually asked the masseuse to stop 30 minutes into a 110 minute massage because I was so uncomfortable. He had no technique especially with the hot stones. Left them in place on my skin for too long, burning my neck area. I even asked him to not do that and he did it again on the other side of my neck. When massaging my scalp he twisted my hair up and pulled me by my hair to lift my head off the table. I finally told him to stop that too..that it pulled my hair! Ive never had a massage where the movements werent fluid and relaxing. I thought because I was getting a longer massage that i would get more expertise. The person checking me out charged me 61 dollars for the 30 minutes I was in the room and never offered to schedule a new massage to make up for today. I asked to talk with the manager and the girl said she was in the back and never offered to get her for me. She said she was part of the management team. Wow.. I think that is terrible customer service. I have been to Woodhouse many times but I wont be coming back. I would leave no stars if that was an option.

Wonderful, relaxing spa! Just moved to Houston and what a lovely discovery in my neighborhood in Vintage Lakes! The whole experience was luxurious and pampering, including the facial.

Great atmosphere, professional staff, and good service.Update review: Visit 5/24/24 very good massage, Ive noticed the last two times I visited the quiet room has been loud. It was so loud in the quiet room today that I couldnt even hear the music. Staff walked in/out & nothing was said. It was disappointing I couldnt relax. I also noticed there was a $15 increase in price.

Amber was absolutely perfect! She walked me through the process and she checked in on me during the massage to make sure the pressure was what I wanted. Amber made my experience so calming and relaxing. I felt like I was in good hands, literally lolI really enjoyed how clean EVERYTHING was, it made me feel that much more relaxed. I will be back!

Lovely. I’ve been here a few times and enjoy it. I usually only get one service but I want to come back and spend a day and utilize the whole Day Spa of it all lol.I got a Hydrafacial by Holie? I think that was her name.I fell asleep and it was wonderful. Definitely what I needed that day.Their staff is always professional when I go.They put my name on my locker, which was nice. I always like to feel special. And it was right before Valentine’s Day so I got a chocolate covered strawberry.My only request is better snacks in the lounge lol like a charcuterie spread. Fruit, cakes, cheese, etc.Recommend.

Staff is nice and the ambience is on point for relaxation. I went with my sisters and our mom as a celebration for the first time in a few years that we’ve all been able to meet up together. Everyone enjoyed the services, especially our mom who is a challenge to please!

A luxurious spa with affordable pricing! Loved everything! My massage was the best Ive experienced in a long time. From the front desk staff to the ladies who helped us stay on schedule, everyone was super nice! Kristen was my therapist and she was excellent.

Lets start with the plusses! They have aromatherapy and ambiance perfected!The spa is clean and lit beautifully.My husband and I got a couples massage and a couple extra services. . .Full spa day!Woodhouse charges top dollar. Services and facilities should match the prices charged. . .Unfortunately they dont.The quiet room is stiff and not very comfortable. No recliners. . .no beverage bar. . .not even fresh water with fruit. . .a spa staple!The changing room is small with minimal showering area. There is no steam room or spa. Or women only quiet area. Again, for the prices, these amenities should be intact.The massage was average. Im not a fan or one handed massages. My massage had long intervals of one handed massage.At one point, I opened my eyes to see the therapist staring off into space, while doing a rote one handed knead.The hydra facial, although pricey is really quite lovely with noticeable results!Robes were awesome and the staff is first class. . . .ownership needs to step up their game though to justify their prices.Overall, I am glad to have experienced Woodhouse, but I probably wont return.

I had my first visit at Woodhouse Spa- Vintage today. I went for a prenatal massage, and it was absolutely lovely. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Marissa, who did my massage, was sweet, professional, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The spa itself is very nice too. I already know Ill be booking another prenatal massage next month.

My mom treated me to the most amazing massage with Julia! She did an amazing job and I feel wonderful. It was very clean and relaxing in all areas - even had my own locker to put all my stuff in. Would highly recommend and I can’t wait until I get to go back!

Staff was rude and not compassionate at all!!!After my baby was born I was excited to schedule some relaxing time for self care. I unfortunately got stuck in traffic on my way to the spa. I called to give them notice. I was told it would run into my service time which I totally understood. When I arrived 15 minutes past the hour I was told my treatment was cancelled and I was being charged for the service.I was greatly disappointed as I had been looking forward to my appointment for months and had finally made it to a point to be able to leave my newborn a couple of hours. I cried I was so upset. I was very embarrassed I couldn’t hold it back. Instead of receiving compassion from this so called manager I was faced with rudeness. Yes they gave me a refund despite their policy but I was so disappointed with the way they spoke to me and treated me that I will never go back to this location again.

All i can say is WOW!! At almost 39 weeks i booked a maternity massage with Marissa and it did not disappoint! She really listened to where my aches and pains needed attention while also working my entire body. I feel like a new person! Would definitely book again and plan to post baby!

LOVE Woodhouse. It is hands down the best spa experience Ive ever been to. I love all of their services. I love going there to have some me time. Self care is so important. Massages truly calm me down and are a nice break/get away/stress reliever for me to go do after I can feel that Ive been running myself too busy or have had some stress. 80 minute hot stone massage is THE BEST!!! Highly recommend it for anyone 👌 ASK FOR JULIA 🖤 She is A-mazingggggg.

Where do I even start? The entire experience was amazing! My best friend and I chose this place to have a girls day and I’m so happy we picked this place. The receptionist was so nice and got us situated with our lockers, robes and complimentary drinks. Then it was time for our massages. I did the mellow mama massage and it was worth every penny! I’m a night shift nurse and being pregnant has been killing my back. I can’t wait to come back (because I will definitely be coming back.) Next time I’m bringing my husband though haha

The Woodhouse Day Spa is the best! Every step of my experience was perfect. The booking process was so easy and I felt relaxed from the moment I walked in! I was greeted by friendly staff that quickly got me checked in and showed me to a beautiful & clean locker area to change into a very comfy robe. After changing I was offered a beverage of my choice and shown to their quiet room to fill out my paperwork so even that part was enjoyable! Im so glad they asked me to arrive 30 minutes before my service so that I had time to relax and didnt feel rushed.When it was time for my service, I was greeted by name by my spa professional who went over my paperwork and services and asked for any additional information to make my service exactly what I was wanting. She was very professional and one of the best massages Ive ever received! Following my massage, I went into the nail room for a manicure and pedicure. Not only is it a much more relaxing environment than going to a nail salon, the ladies were very professional, talked when you wanted but also let you relax and my polish has never looked better!Following my services I was never rushed out of the quiet room but encouraged to relax as long as Id like. I never felt out of place or rushed my entire day. The staffs attention to every detail is outstanding. I will definitely be coming back many more times!

I booked my hydro facial in person a couple weeks ago. I was called shortly after I left and informed that it was a special hydrofacial day. So if I wanted to rebook I could. I told her I would do it. She said ok. Its only 30min. BUT YOULL HAVE ALL THE SAME benefits. I asked is it the same price. She said no its less. BUT YOULL STILL HAVE ALL THE SAME benefits. So I said ok. I had the facial today 4/14/23. I kept telling the girl i need my blackheads gone, I dont feel like its removing the blackheads, it not hurting where it usually does upon blackhead removal. I told her Ive had other treatments that I could feel them being removed. She assured me they would be taken care of. Once I got home... they were ALL still there! Im sure theyll tell me its bc I didnt get the full hydrofacial treatment. BUT that should have been determined in the beginning and they should have made me fully aware of the possibility that they wouldnt be removed by the 30min treatment. The 30min dosent include: manual extraction, (which apparently I need,) no mask, or massage. Ive had microderm abrasion in the past and ALL my blackheads were gone WITHOUT manuel extraction. I truly think I should have been educated properly before booking. Now, thankfully, Im going to use my home extraction tool. My skin is at least soft. The only after care instructions were to use sunscreen and wear a hat if I go outside. I also has a 50 min massage that was ok. Idk if it was me having expectations that werent met but... I wont have one there again. The only reason they get a 3 is that the staff were extremely attentive, serving and nice! Called to tell the manager but was told they were in a meeting. Ill update after speaking to them. So sad. Was really looking forward to a great result.

Went there for a pedicure and massage today. The pedicure was very mediocre, and felt very rushed. The selection of polishes available are quite limited and I noticed there was not even a top coat applied when I got home so had to do that myself! The masseuse was very nice and had a relaxing experience. If I was to go back I would not get a pedicure there again.

Mother-Daughter facials. Appointments are an easy process. Everyone at the Louetta location is helpful and pleasant. Arrive a little early for the robe change and any paperwork updates.

I have been to Woodhouse Spa a handful of times. Every time the experience has been wonderful and very relaxing. The only issue I have experienced recently is that it took me 3 months to be able to get an appointment even trying multiple dates/times. I suppose that is good for them, but not for me. Also it may be due to not enough staff, which is a problem in many areas right now.

Oh wow. What an AMAZING experience. It was my first time, and I left there purposing to visit monthly. It’s soooo worth it. The spa is simply beautiful and offers a soothing atmosphere. The staff members were very courteous, and I appreciate the intent to cater to my individual likes and needs. My service was absolutely relaxing. Brittany did an excellent job. She expressed areas of tension, and she was spot on. I look forward to my next visit...and the visit after that...and the visit after that!

I just want to start of by saying I highly recommend this location to ANYONE! I booked a last minute spa package for my mom and myself for July 3rd and we were both so impressed! I called the day before to book a different package that wasn’t available, but the lady who answered the phone helped me decide on something else to get us in for my mother’s birthday. She was so incredible helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. This place is for everyone and they don’t make you feel like you are being judged. I’m a big person and going to places like this has never been a desire for me. I assumed I would just be out of place and not welcomed even though I am paying for the services. But at this location of the Woodhouse Spa I felt welcomed and absolutely comfortable! Everyone was so incredibly nice and helpful. It made both of us first timers comfortable and we could actually relax. I can’t wait to go back!! 10/10 recommend!

Amazing spa retreat experience. My fiancé and I chose the couples massage, they treat you like royalty from the minute you walk through the door. The staff was professional the environment was calm and relaxing. They provide you with lockers, showers, robes and drinks (wine, water, champaign etc.) at your disposal. They make you extremely comfortable and ensure that your needs are met. I highly recommend if youre looking for an in town get away, try The Woodhouse Day Spa

I have loved visiting Woodhouse for a couple years and this year decided to host an event here for my top 5 clients. Koren, the owner, was outstanding to work with in the planning. We were able to have lunch and each client enjoy some spa time. Her attention to detail was impeccable and she made me look great in my clients eyes! This is a true spa experience....treat yourself or work with Koren to plan an amazing experience for your clients. You wont be disappointed!

Absolutely incredible, amazing, pampering, relaxing. The massage was the best. Amber has magical hands. She fixed my shoulder which had been in pain for two years.I love the quiet room, the pampering, the ambiance and the mimosas.The bathrooms are spectacular.Its a bit pricey so I cant do it as often as Id like, but I definitely recommend it.

The treatment staff is amazing! My treatments are always wonderful. However, their front desk process leaves something to be desired. I always walk out the spa door feeling wonderful, but their late afternoon checkout process and attitude of the front desk brings me down. I wouldn’t normally mention this but it is each time I have visited. No eye contact or smiles, and they kind of ruin the “I feel amazing” aura.

I was extremely impressed with the customer service level and also the quality of service here. The Woodhouse Vintage Park certainly met and exceeded my standards and also everything you could want in a day spa! Julia is the best and she is extremely knowledgeable. She addressed my concerns and made me feel pampered for my appointment. I am looking forward to trying more services soon!

Absolutely amazing experience. I was treated like royalty. The items I used were top notch (the best robe Ive ever used) and the wine/mimosas they offer hit the spot. The place itself is clean and oh so elegant.

Lovely experience. The ambience peaceful and the decor and furniture are nice in the lobby and large relaxation room.The Swedish massage was fantastic. The therapist was attentive to my specifications. Nothing worse than filling out a paper with my specifications only for all of my details to be ignored during the massage. The spa products are rich and luxurious with a more natural scent...no heavy perfumes. This spa did not disappoint.

This was the best spa experience I have had. This is amazing given what spas are going through right now. The services I received were top notch and I enjoyed them very much. Both of the therapists for my facial and massage did a great job with the services and also with their communication. The check in process was easy and the relaxation areas were so comfortable. I will be back soon!

Ive been to Woodhouse Spa a few times but not this location and I felt like the attendant was rushing me or she felt rushed. Not to mention it was a different person that I had booked with. The attendance seemed flustered or not wanting to be there. At the end the massage was awesome but the rest of the services I dont think warranted the almost $200 that I paid for it.

Loved my Hydrafacial I had at Woodhouse! Hannah did my facial and she was excellent! She explained all the steps, was very thorough, made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I loved the atmosphere of the spa and all the staff was friendly and helpful. My face looked amazing when I left and I will definitely go back for more facials there! One annoyance I have is that I pay for my services with gift cards and they ask to have my gift cards when I check in / before my service. I dont feel comfortable handing over my gift cards and hoping they will keep them safe while I receive my facial. They ask EVERY time and each time I say no, that I will hang on to them. Its annoying. If I were paying with cash, would they ask to have my cash ahead of time?? No... other than that annoyance, my facial with Hannah is always great!

The Woodhouse Spa at Vintage Park is a professional and clean spa. I’ve been for 2 services (mellow mama massage and the mellow mama package - pedicure, facial, massage) and just purchased a pack of 4 massages and scheduled my 3rd service. The pedicure has been my least favorite service - the chair was heated which was nice but didn’t have as many massage options as you often find with other nail salon chairs. The pedicure space was also on the smaller side; however it was still nice and my color has been on in tact now for 4 weeks! I’ve had a great experience each visit - the service providers are professional and diligent. Right now during Covid regulations, all staff are wearing masks as well as guests but in the service rooms guests are not required to wear a mask. They are not providing robes, bags or sandals right now either, which only takes from the “spa experience” slightly. I wish they had a better relaxation room with a sauna or hot tub or pool area like some spas. They do have prepackaged snacks and drinks in the service triage room.

This was my first time and overall it was a good experience. I got the classic package and really enjoyed the massage and facial. They do keep the spa a tad too cold and there was a stinch of pee in the halls. My guess is they need new mops or cleaning rags. Otherwise, a solid 4 for service and ambiance.

I absolutely love this spa. I drive an hour every time I book ! I’m sure there are closer locations and other spas but, there services and customer service is great. I’ve been coming to this spa & the others for 4 years now. Booking & check out is is easy!

This place is amazing. The moment you walk in you feel like royalty. There is a beautiful changing room where you are given a robe and slippers. Then you are brought to a quiet room where you wait for your services. I had a pedicure by Jasmine its the best pedicure Ive ever had. The entire place and ambience is very soothing. I highly recommend.

I had a whole spa afternoon. A massage, facial, and mani/pedi. The massage and facial were amazing and I will definitely do them again including going up to the 90 minute massage. However the mani/pedi were garbage. Not relaxing at all and didn’t look good when done. I absolutely hated them and couldn’t wait for them to be over and considering how much they cost even compared to a high end nail salon I was extremely disappointed and felt like I wasted my time and money.Update to add that within 4 days my gel manicure was peeling off and I had to take it off completely by 6 days because the peeling was so bad.

This is my FAVORITE place to treat myself. Its by far the best salon and spa in Houston. I need to praise my stylist, Brandi. She is the best in the biz. I am what you call a difficult client and Im not easy to please. She nails it every time! And she is a lot of fun to talk to! She takes her time to make sure everything is perfect.

Amber Lee gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. I love the atmosphere of Woodhouse too - so relaxing and serene. I totally needed the recharge. Highly recommend!

Manicure was by no means luxury hand retreat. I’ve received far better manicures for half the price.

Lovely first experience with Jasmine! My pedicure was perfect, the environment was quiet, relaxing, and cozy, and the staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable. The extra amenities were nice, too. The white tea was delicious.

I used to go there before the staff is rude from the moment I tried to make the appointment whoever is answering the call was very rude. the day of my appt they try to reschedule my appt I was ok with that . Then they change their mind and tell me to come right this second when I said I will be 15 minutes late they did not care they said it will cut in my service . Find yourself another spa that actually cares especially with the prices you pay there you should expect rop notch service

Staff were very nice, environment was relaxing, but the sugar exfoliation treatment I got was ridiculous. It consisted of applying sugar scrub that lasted 5 min and then a Vichy shower where u lay face down on a bed for 25 minutes! Then a light massage for 5 minute to put lotion on. THE END! I told her I already took a shower in the morning and didnt need another one. To spend $110 for a shower while face down was not something I would ever do again! My family had other facials and massages and they enjoyed it but please do NOT get their exfoliation package bc it didnt do anything but make my mascara run.

My daughter and I visited Woodhouse Day Spa for a little mother-daughter retreat last week. We LOVED it! This spa will spoil you for any other. The facilities are so beautiful and the staff is amazing. We left the spa feeling totally rejuvenated. We can hardly wait to schedule our next visit.

My mom loved her spa day. It is pretty pricey compared to other places. She like her facial and message but not her pedicure. Overall she had a good experience.

This was my first “spa day” experience and I was left sore and very disappointed. The check in was nice. The robes and flip flops are nice. The drinks when you want them is pretty awesome. My massage wasn’t the best. I expressed to the Masseuse the pressure was a little rough multiple times with and there was no change. Now I’m extremely sore. My pedicure was a complete disaster. She was rude and standoffish. My service was cut short due to they were already behind so that sucked. Then I ask for a painted French tip and she started painting my entire nail white and when I pointed it out she rolled her eyes and said we are already behind and I can’t change it. Then she messed up the polish on one of my toes and when I asked her to fix it she said well it’s already over. The manicurist was really sweet and could tell she was annoyed at the pedicurists attitude. This spa day was a gift and I was left feeling really bad someone spent money for me to be completely disappointed.

I must say, for a high end spa the receptionists sure leave something to be desired. When asked questions about spa services and other services available I was given answers such as “nope”, “I don’t know”, “it’s a deli or sumthin’ like that”. I would think you would want employees to use proper grammar when communicating with potential guests. I would also think you would extensively train your employees on the services you offer so they can accurately explain the services in detail instead of saying “I don’t know”. I had wanted to book over $900 in services for my mother and I to enjoy a special day at the spa to celebrate her 60th birthday. After speaking to the receptionist and asking if I could add on lunch, and pay an additional fee, I was told no. This can only be provided for the Woodhouse experience. Disappointed to say the least in just the initial interaction and because of this I will be booking at the Woodlands location. Your front desk staff is the first impression of your spa, I suggest better training or hiring more personable, caring, enthusiastic employees who help your business flourish not drive customers elsewhere.

I had the most wonderful day at the spa! Every moment from when I checked in to when I left was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. Patricia (I believe) gave me the an amazing facial. The quiet room was a great way to relax between treatments.

I really wanted to like this place (its one of the only spas in the area). I called to see if they could take on a pregnant woman with typical aches and pains...and they promised they could. Upon arrival, it became very clear they just added prenatal massages without much thought. You have to change in a locker room and put on a wool robe to wait for your massage. By the time the therapist arrived, I was so hot I could barely breathe. The table for the prenatal massage wasnt a special table--i had to climb onto it (do you have any idea how rough that is at 7.5 months pregnant?????), and it was narrow. I was scared that I would fall off when the therapist had me turn over. The massage itself was terrible (I could be spoiled. I have been getting regular massages for over 10 years), and it was clear that the therapist had no idea how to actually work out knots. Overall, everyone was really nice and the environment was nicer than most businesses, but I wont be returning.

So relaxing. I loved my massage Julia was amazing. I came in, in pain left with 0 pain.

I just called to cancel a 4:00 appointment due to my mother having complications from a surgery last night and needing to be at the hospital today. I spoke with Jaycee who had no sympathy towards the situation and said I would still be charged full price. It is disgusting that even with my mother laying in a hospital bed with a chest tube in there is no way for the company to work with rescheduling or postponing the service.

Just called for information and I’m pretty sure the the lady who answered the phone was having a bad day or something. Horrible mood. Horrible customer service. It was like pulling teeth trying to get information for my birthday celebration. I asked about their facials and her response was, “Well um I mean.. we have 9 so...” Then I asked about reserving 4 spots for next week and that was a hassle just getting information about packages and the lady has an attitude just explaining the packages. It was quite unfortunate as this place is close to my house. But I will drive an hour away for great customer service.

I was lucky enough to receive a gift card to here for a pedi and a facial, and what an experience!! Ive never been to a full day spa before, and I legit felt like I was in a movie. The atmosphere, the service, the staff.....ALL AMAZING!!! I will absolutely be back!!

I have been to many massage envies and massage heights locations for my massage needs, however this is a much more positive example of what massage therapy is about. No annoying sales pitch or product sales, just straight spa and relax. Everything from the waiting room service to the the therapist actually fully listening to your requests about your needs. Needless to say my wife and I have had a very positive few visits here and each time we wished we had booked longer.

Relaxing, luxurious day spa! I have visited this spa twice for massage and facial services. Both times I was extremely pleased with the relaxing, calm and cozy atmosphere. The services were well done and professional. Pricing is similar to other spas for services. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The Woodhouse Spa Vintage Park provided the most relaxing spa experiences I have had in a long time, all staff is amazing! I had a very relaxing and wonderful Hydra facial with Shika! She is fantastic, by far the best facial! Will definitely be back to see her for more.

Woodhouse spa on Louetta is NUMBER ONE! I booked an appointment for my Wife on her birthday and they really made her day special! Shes been complimenting Woodhouse Spa ever since she got her massage and now I can do no wrong haha! Thank you for treating her to a wonderful experience and shes definitely returning soon.

I have been to this spa twice. The first time I went, it was wonderful from the moment I stepped in from the time I left. Since I had a great and wonderful experiance, I decided to go back the second time. But the second time around was not what I had expected. I got a deep tissue massage and Brittney did my massage. From the time she started, i was telling her to apply more pressure, which it did NOT change. I told her 3 times to apply more pressure and after the 3rd time, I just stopped telling her because the pressure she was doing didnt change. I really dont think she knows what deep tissue means or apply more pressure means. She also massaged my scalp more than my back which i told her to really focus on my lower back. The deep tissue massage was very disappointing. I have had better deep tissue massages at another place paying less money, so people, paying more money does not mean you will have a better massage than paying less money. Also, I asked Jasmine and Carla (the girls that did my mani and pedi) for a beverage and they said they would check on that but never came back to me with a response or drink. So the attentiveness was not there at all. I did have a facial booked for the following week, but since I did not have a good experience I cancelled my appointment. Also since the attentiveness was not there, I did not leave a tip for any of my ladies. This whole experience this time was aweful and I will be looking else where for my pampering needs.

I called to make an appointment for a couples massage for my wifes birthday. They set everything up took my information and told me to arrive early. Im thinking ok great well not so much. I get a call at the end of the day stating there is a scheduling conflict and the only option they offer is my wife and I can do or massages separately. Which kind of defeats the purpose of a couples massage. To top it off they didnt make any suggestions for how to fix the issue and said we could schedule a couples massage a week out. Dont waste your time here unless you want to be disappointed by the inept staff that cant even handle something as simple as scheduling.

Thia was a very nice spa. My mom took ne there for my birthday for a facial. It was clean, beautiful and the facial was very well done. I think its worth checking out!

Have you ever experienced a feeling of being bitten by a few hundreds of mosquitos at once? Well, thats the closest I could get to make you imagine the feeling that I wouldnt wish anyone to experience.Let me give a short review on my experience with The Woodhouse Day Spa - Vintage. Overall, the first impression was okay. When I arrived, the place looked empty and the front lady greeted to check me in. The instructions were given; however, I didnt feel any enthusiasm. For some reason, didnt feel any different as if I walked into HEB.When Christina came to take me to the room, I was finishing up with some papers. One of the questions on the questionnaire, which I should have taken more serious, asked if I was allergic to anything and if I cared for the products to be only organic. I answered that I am not allergic and asked Christina that if I say that I dont really care about whether the product is organic would I sign up for something terribly bad? (My thinking process: Im in the nice, expensive place, they shouldnt use bad products. My biggest mistake -assumption!!). The sleeping therapy that I was signed up for by my husband (it was his surprise gift for me) went okay. Christina was attentive; YET, the first impression once I laid down wasnt pleasant. The bed was soft, warm; however, the sheets smelled like very old unwashed oil. Thats the time when I questioned hygiene.Long story short: within 3 days the itchiness on two spots of my body has gotten to the point that concerned me & forced me to go to the pharmacy (everything we had at home has been tried, nothing worked). In less than a week, I had no other choice but to go to the dermatologist, since the itchiness was getting out of control and I saw a red spot on my back with a small group of watery pimples.What exactly was it, the dermotologist couldnt confirm. She has prescribed strong cream and sent me to do a detailed blood test. A week later after applying the cream, I started feeling myself like a human being; yet, took almost two weeks to get back to fully recover.The reason of two stars:1. First star is for the overall experience which was just okay nothing more, nothing less. Im sure I could have gotten same service in China town for much less $$.2. Second star is for the responsiveness of the management. Though, I never received the email with the information I requested, yet, the owner stated that manager has sent it shortly after we spoke. Lets bame technology; yet, the emails with the owner were going through pretty well.By just updating my file with the note that I have allergy for vitamin E (which I certainly dont have. I use many products with it) didnt get me much of excitement to come back for any future services. First time was enough to ruin the gift & to effect my health for almost three weeks.The purpose of this post: a few of my friends strongly adviced me to share my experience to raise an awareness that everyone should be more careful about the products that are being used on our bodies.Thank You for taking time to read. From the calming scent you smell upon entering the door to the luxurious robe, infused water and relaxing waiting area you feel so very pampered! I have visited many spas in the area and can absolutely say this is the ultimate experience!

I’ve been having neck problems and muscle spasms in my upper back. I went to an Orthopedic in sports medicine and a deep tissue massage was recommended with physical therapy. Amber is the best! I can turn my neck without flinching and my muscles work! She helped my muscles release so much tension and I feel hope again! Yay!!! Thank you Amber! I am so grateful for your expertise!

The place is really nice. However, better service was expected here for the money spent. The lady that provided the service was rushing and didnt even bother explaining what was being done. Very unprofessional. The excuse that was given later was, that the service provider has somewhere to go and was going to be late. Seriously??!!!!
