I came to this place for the first time and chose a deep tissue massage. The masseur found the soft tissue nodule on my shoulder and tried to rub it away . After an hour massage , my whole body felt much relaxed and my shoulders were not so tight.I highly recommended sage massage.

I did a deep tissue massage for 90 minutes here, which was very good experience. Jerry used traditional Chinese massage, which was mainly completed by meridians and acupoints, and the whole body was relaxed after finishing it. I strongly recommend this place.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. Their prices are extremely reasonable and I would describe the place as “no frills”. They were efficient and took me back right away even though I was a few minutes early. The therapist, Chloe, was awesome. I could tell she was in tune with my body’s needs and she cared about doing a good job. I would absolutely come back again.

I was crazy busy and should leave my review right after the visit. hope it is not too late. last month I visited Sage Massage, because I have been experiencing persistent pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulders for a while. when I steeped in, Coco warmly welcomed me and provided professional head relaxation and deep tissue massage based on my physical condition. After more than an hour of massage, my whole body felt relaxed, and my shoulder and neck soreness significantly improved. I will definitely come back next time.

It has been over a year since I was at Sage Massage. They are well trained and use different methods depending on your preference and need. I did a deep tissue that also included hot stones and stretching. I was very impressed with the skills and the price was very reasonable. Thank you Sage Massage team!

Absolutely one of the best massage I have had !My lower back was in extreme pain from working and standing on my feet for hard work. The massage therapist helped my pain completely go away with absolutely concentration of pain stretching and applying pressure on my lower back. This was such a great experience! I got the $30 30 minute foot massage and it was perfect. She also massaged my forehead/temples/arms before massaging my feet and it was so relaxing! Highly recommend

Today, I went in for a 90-minute Swedish massage with Lisa, and the experience was extremely disappointing. During the session, she engaged in intense stretching to the point that I had to stop her, as this is not what a Swedish massage typically entails. To make matters worse, she was burping onto my face throughout the massage, which was highly unpleasant and unhygienic.After the treatment, I expressed my concerns to the receptionist, explaining that the session included far more stretching than expected. The receptionists response was that she usually uses a translator with Lisa. This raised the question of how I was supposed to (1) know that the masseuse doesn’t understand English and (2) use a translator while face down on the table and my skull and hair being stretched and pulled uncomfortably.The receptionist said she will note down my name to see what they could do for me next time. This response was unsatisfactory. If a client books a specific treatment, they should not receive a different one.I would advise against visiting this place due to the lack of hygiene and the language barrier that led to a subpar experience. Additionally, the lack of professionalism from the receptionist in communicating effectively with the masseuse prior to the treatment further compounded the issue.

So painful. When I walked in they didn’t have me sign any papers didn’t ask about any medical issues. Just said come with me and placed me in a room. I asked for a Swedish massage and got more like a deep tissue or whatever it was, it was the most painful massage I have ever gotten. I asked David multiple times to go softer and he didn’t. I am in so much pain today (the day after) I’m in shock. I would not recommend coming here. Massages are supposed to be relaxing not to be in pain.

I had to schedule a same day appointment due to a pinched nerve in my neck. They were very kind and thankfully they had availability. I worked with DAVID and he was amazing! His pressure was perfect and I felt he attended to my areas of discomfort. I could tell he knew exactly the areas and the best way to work out my knots. I left feeling amazing and this place should not be overlooked and the price was great I will be coming back. Thank you DAVID and SAGE .

My birthday treat at Sage Massage turned out to be extremely disappointing. Despite requesting a female therapist for a one-and-a-half-hour massage, I received only an hour of interrupted massage with the door left wide open throughout the session. Despite my discomfort and explicit request to close the door, the interruptions continued, making it impossible to relax. To add to the discomfort, the therapists son kept entering and exiting the room, completely invading my privacy. This situation was made worse by my location in the entrance room, where everyone passing by could see.When I raised my concerns at checkout, I received a half-hearted apology and an offer for a male therapist to finish the remaining 30 minutes of the massage, completely disregarding my initial request for a female therapist. This lack of consideration left me feeling unsatisfied and as if I had wasted my money. Overall, I cannot recommend Sage Massage based on this experience.

Called while outside and was told walk ins were available. When I got in I was told I had to wait until 9pm though 20 seconds ago walk-ins were welcome. I went outside to get food nearby and watched 2 people walk-in with no issue. 20 mins later at 9, I dont get a call, there was no receptionist when I walked back in. I then watched a other walk-in go for an hour massage while in sitting in the lobby waiting, like wow. So I already figured out what was going on by then, when I asked them what was going on, I was then told its too late, 920, thought the lady that just went back asked if it was to late and was told no...I could have gone somewhere else instead of wasting my time, but they just wanted me to leave because Im black and assumed I couldnt understand.

So I just walked in here and I actually think I just had the best massage of my life!! My neck and back were totally stiff and all knotted and locked up from work recently. Ive been getting migraines lately and its been so difficult to sleep, life has been so miserable for me! Ive literally had no peace from it all.Well, I was in the area seeing family and I thought I would give Sage Massage a try! Even after only 1 hour I really felt a difference. I actually feel loosened up for once! This felt like exactly what Ive been needing - I am literally feeling SO relieved! ‍😮‍💨😊My massage therapist was very friendly, and the place was so clean! I really didnt know what to expect, but everyone here was so nice and friendly! The receptionist helped explain the different services and I decided on the deep tissue massage.the price was definitely reasonable - about $80 for a deep tissue for 1 hour - reasonably priced for the galleria area. I could tell my therapist knew what she was doing, she definitely was confident, knowledgable, and professional with me the entire time. The whole experience was so awesome and such a treat I cant wait to go back! It was all so relaxing - This was totally worth it. I have been to Sage Massage on several occasions. The business is very bright, clean and very professionally managed. There are always ample time slots available to schedule a massage and they offer many services such as: Swedish massage, deep tissue, cupping, hot stones and foot massages. There is always soothing music and the therapists focus on the client. I have been seeing Lily and I can say she is absolutely a great therapist. I explained my problems and she focused on the areas that seem to constantly ache. I came in with muscle spasms and lower back pain and left feeling great. I was amazed at how good I felt after the massage, not only with less pain but very relaxed. She alternates pressure as needed and always asked how I felt and if she needed to adjust the pressure. She is always smiling and happy to see clients. I have always felt at ease with Lily during my appointments. I can definitely recommend her without hesitation. Her wide range of knowledge and pleasant personality make her an excellent choice as a massage therapist. In closing I can’t say enough good things about Sage Massage and Lily. I definitely will return there on a regular basis.

David was my masseuse.He was absolutely amazing . I have had many massage and he was one of the best masseuse I had. I went in with chronic neck and shoulder pain.He identified the primary cause of my pain and he worked on it specifically. He was professional and kind and up beat as well.Many masseuse at Sage are wonderful, also the facility is extremely clean and the decor was beautiful.The from desk person was also very pleasant and helpful . I will definitely be back again.

Sage massage is a very clean and professional place. My therapist was a very sweet petite lady named Lily. Despite her petite size she had very strong hands and gave a fantastic massage. What I really like about her is that she listened to me and focused on the areas that I asked her to focus on. She really listens. Dont hesitate to go to Sage Massage and see Lily. Although I am sure all the therapists are very good!

The worst massage ever ....I asked and paid for Thai massage and I end up getting regular massage.the pressure was extremely soft .it was very slapy massage .they dont understand English at all what ever I asked she would just smile .I really dont recommend it.Wow what a lie .I cant believe it on top of your bad service you do such a acquisition.I have the charge on card and Im proven it in the picture

My husband and I had fantastic deep tissue massages by Michele & David. The best we’ve had and we have had massages all over the world. Professional business, quiet rooms, room was great temperature.

I have been a massage a month for the last 5 years. I would recommend that if you decide to go here, make sure that you are not getting the older lady. She is very polite, but she was nodding off many times during my massage. Also, upon arrival, I was informed that they price listed on the Google listing is not correct. It was $10 more. I will not be returning nor recommend this location to anyone.

A delightful massage experience. After the hot stone therapy, the body feels immensely relaxed. The interior is clean and tranquil, and the massage therapists are friendly. The owner is generous and even provides free beverages. Its worth recommending, and I will continue to visit.

I received one of the best massages Ive ever received in my life. Truly a wonderful experience, the therapist was nice and friendly, and gave an outstanding deep tissue massage. A 1 hour deep tissue massage I recommend! I had so much stress and she did a great job of pushing out that negative energy and creating a positive safe atmosphere. Every muscle in my body was relaxed. I have to recommend this place to anybody thats looking for a deep tissue massage. Parking is easy, they have handicap spots. Next time Im in Houston I will stop here. Thank you.

If i could get a partial refund i would. i came in yesterday at 5pm, paid them at 5:08 for an hour massage, and a half hour of cupping and she pressed me about paying for tip before we even began. they didn’t start until about 5:20, i was walked out on twice for various phone calls, and then the cupping was finished by 6:30. i should’ve been done at almost 7 pm so i got ripped off and the unprofessionalism of them leaving in the middle of a massage was not real cool. i also requested a traditional thai massage and they barely moved my body. everything felt rushed. i don’t recommend.

So DISAPPOINTING! My friend and had a scheduled evening couples massage appointment at this establishment a few weeks ago. This was our first time visiting this establishment and the moment we walked in the door there seemed to be chaos and confusion. We were never asked to completed a standard form for first time visitors to establish what time of massage or what areas we wanted to focus on. We were rushed in a very small room with two tables with no room to walk around for a proper massage. Then the following things happened:1. The male masseuse stared my massage first and not together. 10 minutes into the massage my friend told him the point of a couples massage is to start together. The vibes were so awkward. My masseuse smelled like CIGARETTES ...it was disgusting. It seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing...what a joke.2. When the women masseuse finally entered the room. She only rub and attempted to massage my friend through the sheets for about 15 minutes. Until my friend asked what type of massage was doing through the sheets.3.The light dimmer in the small compact room was not working and was left on for the majority of the massage. Once they turned me over I could no longer take the bright lights. Not to mention, there was no soothing music playing in the background or no smell of eucalyptus in the air….So uncomfortable. I asked them to stop because I was not feeling relaxed...it was a horrible experience.4. They finally turned off the lights but it was completely dark so they propped open the door. We could see the laundry room and the bathroom. We also could hear the sounds of the toilet flushing and washer and dryer running. The hallway was extremely loud with staff talking loud and walking hard. Total chaotic environment.5. When it was time to pay...Lord knows I did not want to pay for poor service. Their credit card machine was not working properly. I asked for the manager/owner, and she turns out to be the masseuse who rushed us when we initially got there. It seemed like she called in all her family members to come help massage that evening. This location needs to be inspected to make sure everyone is licensed and legal to perform massage services. They were all out of uniform. No professionalism or sympathy for the EXTREMENLY POOR service we received. This review deserves ZERO Stars. FIVE THUMBS DOWN. Beware, just because it is in the Galleria area does not mean you will receive top notch services.

My neck and back are basically not in great shape from two car wrecks. However, after getting a massage here I feel great. I have been back and never have been disappointed - would recommend.

I cannot recommend this spa. Its not the cleanest, quite mediocre overall. They used CeraVe lotion during the massage, and I ended up smelling like the therapists hands. I had to take a shower immediately afterward.

Paid for 1h regular masage not deep tissue the older lady I had as a massuse was all off on pressure sometimes super soft other times really rough no control on pressure. During my session she left multiple times and even took a phone call during my session I hear the whole conversation of a guy coming late with a group of people. She runs off hollering for another lady comes back and shakes my ankles and says all done finishing the massage 20 minutes early and I get dressed and wait for 10 minutes at the counter to pay. I pay my 70 she starts demanding tip. I inform her of my complaints and why I dont feel the massage deserves a tip and she just calls me a cheap A** and walks off

Had an hour to spare before flying out Houston, do I booked a half hour of deep tissue massage here. So glad I did, great pressure and very knowledgeable therapist, despite a slight language barrier this was much better than many other sport/ deep tissue massages Ive had. Would definitely visit again when Im next in town.

I was here on a business trip and have terrible back and neck pains from my flight. This was close to my hotel and I was able to walk in without an appointment. The woman who did my massage really did a great job, she even used hot stones without charging me extra, they did a great job and I felt so much better. Not sure why they have terrible reviews, my experience was great.

After having received massages in over 10 countries, Jason at Sage Massage was the one who could apply the heaviest pressure. Several things stood out to me. One, Jasons work on my calves- both in the front and at the back. The hot stone massage is also really relaxing. The temperature of the stones was just perfect and not too hot. Jason also helped me stretching my limbs out at the end. Thanks Jason and Coco!

This is a good place. I don’t know why here has so many complaint. Today I went there had a massage. The young female therapist did a great job for me. I felt so relax and my stress went away. I gave her 20$ tip. The therapist told me some female client didn’t give them tip. She is so happy. Make sure to call to Make a appointment. Not walk in with too many people.

Best deep tissue massage I’ve had.

Let me start off saying I have been to many different massage locations around Houston, and this has to be the worst place/experience I have ever had. For starters they had no brochures or menus, they didn’t ask what areas needed attention nothing. I booked a couples massage for me and my lady and they must’ve only had one person because I swear I had the receptionist, answering calls mid massage She used no lotion no oil, she only did parts of my body, honestly I’m in pain They had no cloth to cover us, no aroma, no music. Don’t waste your money

I was on a business trip in Houston. I was in the neighborhood for a client meeting. I was totally impressed with its cleaness and ambient. My (female) masseuse is very skillful. I asked for hard massage. My sore shoulder was totally relieved. I strongly recommend it if you are near by.

Clearly it’s a “special” massage place. We walked in asking for a list of the types of massage they offer, an older woman (no uniform, casual clothes) greeted us. She showed us the list of prices. We asked for what types of massages where given and she said they are just timed. Then stated that she didn’t understand what we were asking because she didn’t speak English and her boss wasn’t there. She then told us she was busy and couldn’t help us. The whole experience was strange. When we walked out, we noticed two males walking in. All the positive reviews on here are clearly happy “male” customers.

Needed a massage luckily walked in and they had an open place for me...It was clean, nice and cozy.Pricing was ok.

Questionable and unprofessional. The place was completely empty except for an older woman not in uniform working the front desk who barely spoke English. She claimed there were no masseuses on staff at present- which is odd for a massage business- and that shed have to call someone in for me. During my wait in the vacant lobby 2 disheveled male customers suddenly arrived and walked straight to the back with the older woman following them. Shortly thereafter a male masseuse arrived for me- odd for a female customer. I felt immediately uncomfortable and decided to cancel my massage. When I asked for a refund, the older woman suddenly acted like she didnt understand English and said no refund was possible, although I had declined receiving a service. I will be filing a complaint with the Texas Department Of Licensing & Regulation.

Initially they charge 70$ per hour and when asked do you have shower they say its available. When you give your card they say you will be charged 5$ extra because of using credit card. The masseuse tries to sell Extra and demands 40$ Tip . When you say you dont need.. you get the most crappiest massage. And say shower is not available..

Keep in mind my husband is only 24 years old and it’s was a older lady that try to put a move on it , so shameful I will be getting police involved

The massage techniques of the technicians here are really very professional! The environment in the store is also very good! Worth coming again!
