I have been coming here for years and when they are too booked, I try to go elsewhere and there is just no comparison. The service, consistency, and professionalism always has us coming back. it is still the best deal in town. It’s no longer a secret, this is a gem in Houston’s Chinatown. That’s why its always booked! I would suggest calling to book an appointment so you can guarantee a spot.

Ever since I moved to Houston 15 months ago I been going here once a month. Great customer service and massage, they’re very considerate of your preference. Very welcoming when you walk in the door. I took my mom and my sister here and they were very nice and treated them well. Very clean and quiet.

I went in for the 1st time a few weeks ago and immediately purchased a package deal for 3 sessions. It was amazing and I just got out of my 2nd appointment, a 90-min Swedish massage with hot stones. My masseur was Amy and true to other reviews, she has just the right amount of pressure. I feel like she took 5lbs off me, no kidding, thats just how light my body feels right now. I tried other places like the Oasis several times and some Thai places, but Soul Inn truly got that wonderful touch. What I love the most was the private rooms, even if its just myself, they always give me a cozy room. Im definitely coming back again and again!

My first time and it was great!! I got #10 foot massage for an hour. I did not expect to get a face massage, scalp massage, shoulders, and back massage. It was amazing. I was very relaxed after. The only reason I won’t give it a full 5 stars is because during the stretches I was a little apprehensive due to my sciatica. I didn’t know those stretches would be part of the foot massage so I did not think I should have mentioned my sciatica. Certain stretches trigger my sciatica. I’m so grateful it didn’t trigger mine. But I think every new patient should fill out a form. Just so therapist can know if client has any complications. Just for safety purposes. Other than that.. I was very very happy with my visit. I will be making an appointment soon ✨everyone was really really nice.

I was very excited to go after reading the reviews. However, I am very disappointed because the massage wasn’t good at all. My masseuse had long nails and scratched me the whole time. It was very uncomfortable and hurt at some point. I won’t be going back.

Called this morning and they were able to get an appointment same day. I did the 60 min Thai massage. This might be the best massage I ever received. Highly recommend this spa. I wish I would have gotten my masseuse’s name for next time.

Ive been going to Yellen for over a year and she gives by far the best massages in the area. Ive always had complications with my neck and back, but after a session I always feel renewed. I can always make same day appointments with her and she knows how to be kind and carring to my needs. I also love the atmosphere of their rooms, very beautiful with calming music. I really cant reccomend Yellen enough she has the magic touch and I will continue to be a loyal customer returning time and time again.

Couples Massage was best pricing we have seen anywhere. 90 minute session was phenomenal. It was our first visit and wewill definitely be going back soon.

I treated my wife to a massage for our anniversary. She was pleased with the service provided, especially for her foot. Id be booking another visit for her here again. I am not sure the lady who provided the service for her, but she was great and paid a lot of attention to detail. She listened to what my wife wanted and was very helpful. They accommodated me even thou I called in the day before, so great stuff for that!The place is clean, therapeutic, and relaxing. It has a great ambience when you enter. The best I’ve ever had! I am a sucker for massages and I have been all over China town for the best reflexology place for the past 10 years and by far this is the one. I recommend Amber. She really goes far to roll your knots, not like those other masseuses that dig into your body and hurt you. This is a family owned establishment with people who really care about customer service and your wellbeing.

Got a back and foot massage. I came in with a sore shoulder from tennis. Michael who was my masseuse was excellent - he honed in on the sore spots on my shoulder and lower back fairly quickly. Worked the sore tissue over and made me feel infinitely better. Totally worth it. Been here multiple times, paid for deep tissue and got. No tip demands or anything awkward afterward but I tip at least 25%. Clean facility. Non-smoking staff.Lisa is the best! Her technique demonstrates so much experience. Vastly different from anyone I’ve been to in Texas. She combines Chinese massage techniques with accupressure? And was able to workout a lot of tough knots.

I did the 90-minute Swedish massage and it was magical. Yellen worked hard on many knots and tension spots, all while creating a relaxing, engrossing experience. Location is convenient and all the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back regularly.

I have been going to Soul Inn for several years and have always had great experiences. Maybe because, as a former massage therapist, I always give specific instructions about my massage and stay with my favorite therapists (I get their names and ask for them). And I am not afraid to use a translation app if necessary to be sure I am completely understood. I can highly recommend two therapists in particular. I used Yellen initially when she was available and always had a very good massage, but for the last six months have used a new (to Soul Inn) therapist, Kelly. Kelly is experienced and has been very good at providing a relaxing massage, which is my preference, but also has the strength to go deeper if I ask. Although, I dont really want to find out for myself, I think she would also have the strength to do a good deep tissue massage. Finally, I also have to say that I really appreciate the fact that Soul Inn seems to do a better job than other places Ive tried at keeping the temperature in their rooms massage appropriate.

Nice place, good foot massage, couldve used more pressure but not bad...

Made an appointment for a couple massage and was quite disappointed with the whole experience. We wanted an hour session and had to cut it short for 30 minutes because it was so bad. Our masseurs were not very good at all and we felt like they were not licensed or trained masseurs, but just filling in because they were short handed. We paid $80 for half an hour plus $40 tip for the session. It’s not the staff but the management and business owners fault and we understood that. It was really a waste of our time. Don’t think that we will be back anytime soon.

I cant remember the last time I was praying for a massage to end, but Soul Inn Reflexology will forever be the place that holds that title in my memory. Ive gotten hundreds of massages from dozens of spas specializing in different methods (Swedish, Thai, Chinese, etc). Never have I been so uncomfortable before.First off, I added two stars to my review for only two reasons. One, the prices are pretty cheap (most Chinese spas are generally more affordable). Two, my boyfriend who got a massage alongside me said he really enjoyed the session with his female therapist. Otherwise, this review wouldve had ZERO stars.What made my experience so unenjoyable is my male therapist was so rough. There were times he took the air out of me from coming down so hard on the back with his elbow. I told him from the beginning that I prefer a light to medium pressure. Every time he moved to a different section of my body, I would have to remind him to ease up. After the third time, I was just fed up.The other part that sucked was the ambiance. Lights stayed on the whole time. Both therapists were constantly talking to each other in Mandarin and laughing. A little chatter is fine to coordinate space and timing, but they were having full blown conversations with each other. My therapists phone also kept vibrating! The lack of self-awareness is unreal. The walls dont go all the way up to the ceiling, so Im sure people in the rooms next to us could hear all of this.I got up off the massage bed in more pain than when I came in. Just an overall unprofessional, upsetting, and absolutely dreadful experience. I wouldnt even come back here if I was offered another therapist.

I doubt I would go back to this place.I went on Wednesday, and the girl who did my massage was rough.I kept telling her it hurt, that I just wanted to relax.She didn’t know how to massage all she did was put pressure, and body weight in.I’ve had a severe headache(never get them), and when I blow my nose It comes out bloody.I think it was from all the pressure she put on my face.Please train your staff so that they don’t hurt your customers.

I havent been to the Soul Inn since I moved from SW Houston but I finally made it over today and it was worth it! I had the Thai and Stretch massage. 1, I walked into the room and saw the bars above the bed and thought those must be for the walk on the back massages. 2, I had no idea the Thai massage included the back & body walk. The masseuse and I did a lot of giggling and she told me my body is strong! 3, I SHOULD not let so much time laspe between massages. My body, mind, and spirit needed today. Im happy I came. I will return soon to try some of the other massage types. I carry stress in my back and shoulders and the relief massages bring is essential for my well being. I highly recommend Soul Inn.All is well with my soul today! :)

Horrible!! Called last minute, and they said sure come on over after driving 20 minutes out of my way. Their prices are not up-to-date on their yelp page. I walked in, very unprofessional, wasn’t willing to work with me, and said nothing about changing their prices which they were higher when I got there.!! Then after telling me to head this way, which I told him exactly 20 minutes they were gonna make me wait 15 minutes more not a good way to do business when you’re one of 1000!!!!

I was introduced to this place 3 years ago by my sister when they had different massage therapists. With the pandemic, there was a gap in my attendance. Upon my return last summer, saw they had taken on new employees. While the massages were ok before, it was a world of difference getting that first massage from James!This new staff speaks English which makes a big difference. Cant speak about the other massage therapists but the treatments I receive from James feel great, gets the chi flowing and increases my energy levels. I feel more alive after these sessions with James.I am now moving to another city and am writing this review to recommend the deeply healing and therapeutic reflexology massages that James provides. Having had many massages including from pricier spas & many Chinese reflexology places - this is a step above with excellent results!Definitely check this place out 👍🏼

The masseuse got into all my sore muscle points and I feel so much better. My entire body was just unbearable. Just sitting down was a struggle, but not anymore. $45 for 60 min full body! So great. The place is nicely decorated and the massage was very relaxing. The masseuse was also really friendly and nice. Highly recommended.

$45 for a great 1 hour massage. The girlfriend and I have been here several times. It’s half the price of your regular massage place. Still not quite as cheap as the $10 massages in Thailand but not too shabby for the US!

I saw previous reviews about this place and about James so I tried it out. OMG I felt so relaxed and loose after my 60 minutes of foot and back massage. I came in with lower back pain, tight shoulders, right foot plantar fasciitis, right hip pain, & a weak left knee. Tears in my eyes as he released so much tension. The room is clean and the music helps you relax. James knows his pressure points & helped by stretching my legs. Now to keep stretching at home & not let all the stress of life tear my body down. Ill be back & I recommend this place to anyone instead of getting prescriptions for pain.

For $35 I got an EXCELLENT MASSAGE - and my massage therapist was Jason. I opted for 30 min foot reflexology & 30 min back massage, and he offered longer than an hour and worked more than just my back. He worked on hamstring, calves, neck, arms, and offered stretches that were awesome too. I tipped well because Im certain I was there for more than an hour. They offer hot stones and hot towels in the sessions that are included which was great. They let them sit on your back and also use them in massage strikes. So really you get a full body massage thats well worth it. I highly recommend Soul Inn Reflexology. Cant beat the prices and even though theyre on par with other locations in China Town, this one isnt as big as some others which makes it less noisy.

I have been coming to this place to get massages for about two years. There are times where I’ve even come on a weekly basis. Their services are undeniably affordable for what they offer. I’ve brought many friends here as well.However, tonight was my last night going. I got the second massage option, the $35 one that includes a 30 min foot massage and 30 min body massage. Starting at this massage option and up, you are required to take off your shirt for the body massage. My boyfriend and I were in a room together. I had a male masseuse, he had a female. Everything was fine until this man began touching my breasts. I’ve had this particular massage, and I know that everyone gives massages differently, but no one has ever touched my front side. Touching has always been limited to my back, shoulders, and sides (which may graze side-boob, but that’s understandable). However, this man, David, began repeatedly going down my front. I felt weird, and thought it wasn’t okay, but also reasoned that there was another masseuse in the room.As soon as the massage was completed, both masseuses left the room so that my boyfriend and I could get dressed. I immediately asked if she massaged his front side and he said no, not at all. I told him what happened and we confronted the owner/manager, a woman who spoke only mandarin. We used google translate to ask if this was normal practice. When she said no, it should only be back and shoulders, David denied ever even going near my chest, even saying he barely touched my shoulders. He would not leave the room so that we could speak with the manager privately, and the manager kept acting helpless due to the language barrier. We got another masseuse (Celine?) to come in who spoke both Cantonese and mandarin, and I tried explaining what happened in Cantonese but she refused to translate and just kept defending David saying oh it’s normal for women to get their breasts massaged. When I said I’ve had this massage many times before and that’s never happened, she said, “oh everyone gives different massages.” At that point I was feeling pretty violated and disgusted. We tried speaking to the manager again via google translate only to have her profusely apologize and refund us our transaction.Please beware.

I had an awesome experience at Soul Inn. Very relaxing and calming. $20 for a full body massage, cant beat that! Although i only went in for a foot massage i appreciate the head to toe attention to every limb. Very polite staff as well.

My foot massage was great!

I found rude and disrespectful th way the employees discuss with the customers about the tip, I paid a bill of $50 and left $10 as a tip, which is 20% which looks pretty good to me. Once I signed my voucher one of the masseuses started to complain about the tip, treating me as a cheap person and showing other vouchers with very high tips (70-80%) of the value of the service, the common thing on all these vouchers was that all of them were corrected... kind of weird... Be careful when you swipe your card, from my side Ill never come back to this rat hole.

Love the service and price. Ive done the foot massage and full body massage here. Both are great, the foot massage includes a little bit of a body massage so thats great if you like to keep all your clothes on while getting a massage.

Amazing was an understatement for the service I received at Soul Inn Reflexology! I opted for the Thai Stretching Deep Tissue with a dash of CBD and I feel like I walked out with a new body!!!
