Azura Bar and Lounge

So I visited yesterday for my birthday, small group (literally 3 people). We ordered a hookah, I had a shot, my girlfriend and her brother got a cocktail.As the night progressed- I got can sodas & a basket of fries, my girlfriend’s brother got ONE more happy hour cocktail - leaving my total to be around $55/$60 at the most. When the server came back, she said my total was $75. I didn’t argue or agree with it but I definitely requested a paper receipt. $10 extra/18% for a “service fee” because we started a tab.I don’t mind supporting a small business but that fee should definitely be discussed before hand. Especially when it takes 15 minutes to get served on a slow Monday. Nice vibe but don’t think I’ll be returning unless I order all at once & close out.

GG is my favorite waitressssss, but the other girls are great as well! You’ll always have a great customer service experience when you come here! The DJ had me on my feet alllll night! I’m tired honey, but during the week the vibe is chill if you’re not looking for too much of a party! On the weekends it’s the place to be.

Great place to chill and relax. Definitely a great spot. Also the customer service is great. Vanessa is really attentive to my order and made sure that the food cook right. She is a great at her job. The wings are great. Will stopby next time Im in town in Texas.

Kasey was quick and efficient. Kasey explained the menu and gave good advice on food and drink options. Kasey also help choose an hookah favor. She was nice and greeted me well. Overall, a great waiter!! Would want her as my waiter every time

This place is a true vibe buuuut…I was served eggrolls that were still frozen on the inside and our waiter was very distracted by the others in the location. The distraction affected our service.We had a section by the DJ booth and he was FIRE! We went on a Friday night around 9:30pm and left by 12ish (we old). I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this location. It has an inside and outside area, a dance area, plenty of sections and tables, and real cops that don’t play. No weed smoking and no flask are allowed…THEY WILL FIND YOU! LolI would recommend going to this location and hopefully you get a better waiter than I had.Oh and don’t get the Black Margarita or whatever it’s called. It was not good!

First of all just entering at the door is amazing! The foyer has beautiful white flowers. Then Vido at the bar is such a great bartender-he had our drinks out VERY fast and anticipated our needs-definitely visiting again

Second time visiting this location both times were great this time around the server didn’t check on the table that often we had to flag down other servers to get our waitress. Overall atmosphere was really nice. Food was good. Drinks were good overall and nice experience.

Listen honey! I’m here at least twice a week!!! Even if GG isn’t my server she still makes sure I’m good! Not good, but great! I love the Dj and especially the happy hour specials! Come before 8 and get your $10 hookah!

GG wasn’t my service, but since I was around her section she still made sure I was good. Karen was my server and very attentive! The DJ had us lit from the very beginning!

Make sure when you go you ask for GG, she was really sweet and had good conversations. She was the only person working 6 tables and made sure everybody was good. We will definitely return ! The bartender was really good too I don’t know know his name but the drinks were really good.

Absolutely loved this place! One of my new favorite places! A lot of Houston places have pricy parking, door fees, section fees etc where as this place does not. Parking was free, getting a section was a simple process, and we just overall had a great time! Also the food is not only delicious but super cheap (loved the lambchops & the pasta)! & They have amazing happy hour deals. Will definitely be coming back!

Tonight was definitely a vibe! We enjoyed ourselves very much! We’re from Maryland and decided to pop in and we were definitely not disappointed! My favorite things on the menu were the lamb chops and chicken egg rolls! Ask for GG as your server her service was superb!

Really cool place to do karaoke, hookah, drinks and good food! They have a hiring sign up, these guys need help asap! I waited 35 mins for my hookah, excessive wait time for a drink at the bar, the bartender was really cool but he was all over the place, their short staff!

Hands down this is my favorite place to come at least twice a week!! The food is amazing and always fresh!! The service is amazing! My favorite person here is Keke! Her vibe, Her spirit is attractive! But most importantly her attention to serving is unmatched! People like this you want to keep around and pay them extremely well..shes the reason people still come often!! She deserves a raise and some!! I know a spiritual person by their energy! I will continue to come here because I feel comfortable and welcomed!

I’ve been coming here for years! Finally wanted to do a review because of my girl Vanessa! Service was 10/10 and gave me a better experience than any previous visit here.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEEE Azura. Especially the Karaoke Wednesdays! I come here every Wednesday. I made friends here that are nearly family now. Azura has a great bar staff (Vido) and when I come on wednesdays (Lady BG) always makes it the best experience. I just hate that she leaves at 12:30. If karaoke went to when the bar closed, I know for a fact that everyone would be there for the whole night shutting the lounge down.

Ok. I celebrated my birthday here last night. I wasnt sure of my party size but they were extremely accommodating. It was a vibe. Our drinks were great and I believe one person ordered food, which had no complaints. I had 11 people and everyone had a great time. I liked the diversity in the music that catered to the mixed crowd. 80s babies showed out, 90s babies showed out, 2000s babies showed out, Houston, New Orleans... Everyone had something to turn up to. The bartender, Vido, listens to what his customers like and dislike and he make the drinks perfect every time. He connects with customers. He deserves a raise 😜. Overall it was a great experience and Id recommend this place and will probably be back for my sisters birthday as well.

Pretty decent bar/lounge/hookah place. Spacious with different areas for seating. We were at the hookah lounge and there was decent amount of seating with a couple of large screen TVs and music. The service is extremely fast, friendly and the food there is delicious. The drinks are really good as well. They also had a dj when we went (Saturday night). Overall a great place!

I have been here three times and the 3rd time was a bad experience because I was over charged despite giving the server a tip. The manager was trying to be smart. I won’t be back here. My first experience I had a broken wine glass from the top at the bar spilled in my eyes the first day I came here too.

This is a great spot, recently opened but these guys do hookah right. Options for ice smoking and plain, really great tending to the coals. Vido is the man and kept the hookah going, Gina was on point with the drinks and if you like Mediterranean the food is authentic and great. Will definitely be back.

Drink was nasty and they did not refund me for it or at least give me another drink. And took the drink off my table as if they would refund it. I could have let someone else have it if you were going to not refund me. Tried to bring the old drink back but I don’t know what they did to it so no thanks!

Absolutely love coming to Azura! I’ve been coming to this local spot for 4+ years & have never had any issues. Gigi always provides amazing service & Faris always make great hookah. Highly recommend whether you want to chill & hang out during the week or turn up on the weekend with no issues.

We came here after leaving another place where we we wasted time and money… But Azura made up for that! We were celebrating a birthday and they did not disappoint. The DJ was undoubtedly made to do the job and the service was amazing! I loveeeee the Lamb Chops, so do get them when you go! The hangover fries looked amazing so I’ll be trying those next time lol

I wouldn’t call myself a bar if you don’t have a single IPA on tap or in bottle….

The menu is mostly finger foods, but it did come out fresh. The vibes of this lounge were nice, but service was way below the bar. The table was stained and the server not only never brought us water but was smoking hookah across the lounge for a majority of our visit. We could barely ever get their attention. All these new age places do not make training/upkeeping service standards a priority and that’s what hinders them. This place has the nerve to have an automatic 18% gratuity no matter the party size, when there was barely any service provided. The busser paid us more attention than our server did.

Great place. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good price for drinks, live DJ and best hookah I ever had. You can ask for an ice tip for just $3 more. Love mediterranean seasoning the Azura wings are lit. IG-love_to_exist

Used to be my favorite spot, good drinks and hookah. Idk what changed but as soon as I get my hookahs the past 2 weeks they’re already burnt and instead of taking responsibility or even letting me voice the problem they just shove a new one down my throat.. nd guess what? It’s also burnt 🤣 got a flat bread tonight and not only was it cold I don’t think it was fully cooked. If you go go before 8pm because the vibes are not there anymore. 0/10 will not be back again.

I was visiting Houston, and decided to stop here with family and friends. The food was good, but the drinks were not the best. I ordered a Blue MF, and after the 3rd drink, no buzz, so I spoke with the bartender and learned the drink was pre mixed. To me it tasted like a snow-cone. Music was nice but I don’t think I will have drinks there if I ever return.

Celebrated my 25th birthday last Saturday I had so much fun! Music was Lit ,hookah was smooth and The lemon drops were perfect. I was able to bring balloons + my cupcakes which were put in the refrigerator in the back the waitress was so nice and attentive. I will definitely be back!!

We called beforehand to ask if it is a sports bar because we wanted to watch the Astros vs Rangers game #7. When we arrived we asked the owner to make sure they will turn the volume up when the game starts. He assured me. However, when the game began the waiter told us he called his manager and then told us the volume was not working.There were only three customers there at that time.

It was cool, went for NYE only thing I didnt like was no seating at the bar that particular night, didnt stay long enough to see the actual entertainment aspect pick up but the Dj did jam and it was a nice size just wished there were more seating options if you in didnt have a section. This was my FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE! I wish I could give it no stars … the host was lovely but the waitress was TRASH! It’s something about seeing my server walk over from sitting down at another booth (the same friends I will mention later) to great me. She had a bad attitude and then tried to tell us we couldn’t order happy hour shots because it ended at 8 when it clearly says on your site, it ended at 9. The drinks were horrible! Long islands that had nothing long in them. Tasted like juice. Then for you to tell the customer you don’t have pineapple juice as a mixer and then bring 2 cans of pineapple juice that’s cost a ridiculous amount for your lack of inventory is trash. Then the waitress continued her attitude with her friends and proceeded to talk about us as they looked at us. Nothing about this place was inviting and I will never be back. Guess they are only welcoming to people they know or appears like them. Yep won’t ever be back… ✌🏼

Clean atmosphere and a nice sound system. Outside patio is available if you want to lounge outside. The Service was great!!!! *** Jenay *** was very attentive and easy to talk to. She made sure the table was clean through out the night. I’ve visited several time and each time she provided the same service. Highly recommend her as your waitress… not to take anything away from the others, but I have experienced her services.

Bad service! They make mistake in your order and would not cancel or replace. This is the reason no one goes to Azura. This place will be fully dead before the end of 2024.

Four stars because the music was just wayy too loud lol I thought people were exaggerating in the reviews before I went myself and I can confirm. You have to yell to talk to people next to you. Other than that the drinks were great, hookah was good, atmosphere was nice, nice music selection towards the end of the night and great service! Thank you Lela!!! Loved the birthday sign and sparklers!

Best hookah ever, i came here for the first time and i was amazed with the fast service and the great hookah. This’s our new spot from now on, and Daniel has a great customer service.

I was there for a hour or so on a Saturday late night. Good time. Food decent. The fries are great. Friends enjoyed the hookah.There was a boxing match. The DJ incorporated music in between commentary, so folks could enjoy watching the match and the music.Service was quick. I didnt have a drink.Music was great but too loud for me. I like to be able to hear the person next to me.

Very spacious nightclub with large sections, plenty TVs and great drink specials!! Perfect for Saturday night out or Sunday Funday!

This place is a GEM. Everything is on point and I love how everyone can feel welcomed and catered to any day of the week. Literally. When me and my people want to get out but prefer a more peaceful, laid back and chill environment we go in the beginning of the week. When we want entertainment we go on Wednesdays because of Karaoke. Thursdays always have the best throw back music. 90s babies will definitely enjoy. The weekends are always great to let loose and turn up. Yall. This is the spot.

This place is a joke and a rip off. Went there this past Sunday 11/21/23. I was charged $43.00 for 3 drinks and a club soda. A guy at the table next to me ordered a bucket of beer and an order of spring rolls and he was charged $60.00. I am calling my bank and disputing the charge and I will never go to this awful place again.

I enjoyed dining and chilling at this establishment with my homegirl. My waitress was very attentive and friendly. I ordered lamb chops which came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The lamb chops were very tender and seasoned well. I ordered medium well. The mashed potatoes had a funny taste. The asparagus was okay. There is outdoor and indoor seating. The tables are free. The booths are available for a fee. The food and drinks prices are reasonable. The DJ played a nice mix.

Amazing place!If you have not visited this place, you are missing out!I was visiting Houston and one of my friends took me there! I had a blast!Our waitress Quanna was great!!! She was very friendly and made sure we were satisfied the entire night. The music was amazing and so was the food! I wish we had a place like this in New Orleans

Came out for a quick girls night and our server GG was amazing!! With all the tables she had , she was very attentive and made sure each and every table was taken care of. Definitely will be back to have her as my waitress!

First time going there July 4th. It was empty, and for the 2hrs or so we stayed, we barely saw 10 patrons. Thats not good.They have daily specials, and I believe a day long happy hour on specific drinks each day. Scan the QR code to see the deals. Our server was nice. Very attentive. Drinks tasted weird, but are strong. Got 4 fireball whiskey shots, and we noticed the measurements were not the same in each glass. Please invest in some shot glasses instead large whiskey glasses.My food was pretty good. Cooked my lamb chops just right and the chicken wings were good. Wish they had authentic pepper sauce. And please add some celery or carrots with the chicken wings.Came time to pay and that s when we noticed a 18% service fee charge. We asked the sweet waitress why such a charge for 2 people dining. And she explained management wanted to share this fee with the other backend staff. But unfortunately they the waitresses only see pennies. So if Im to tip at 20%, Ill be tipping a total of 38% of the tab. Thats just outrageous. There is no justification for the 18% charge. Nor a warning to patrons of this charge before we sit to dine. The 18% service fee is ILLEGAL.Suffice to say, I wont be a return customer as long as this fee remains in place.

We came from Atlanta and based off the score I wanted to come. Honestly the DJ was good but the service wasn’t and it wasn’t the waitress fault she was working all tables by herself. The hookah burnt out in 10 mins and when the hookah guy came to check on it he said it had burnt out already even though we didn’t have it long. I think the service could be better if the system was better with one person but our experience wasn’t good.

We had a fun time and the food was delicious. I had the lamb chops.

Quana was a great waitress!!!!!! She was very attentive to me and my partner the entire night! She truly anticipated our needs, we didn’t have to ask for anything because she was already prepared!

Went to have a couple drinks at the bar. The music was ridiculously way to loud. I left with my ears ringing. Nice 25+ vibe and the food was good, however they need to turn the music down just a notch so you can enjoy it.
