I can’t stress enough how bad this place is. I’ve been here 3 times and every single visit gets worse. They started with a 20% automatic gratuity and now it’s gone up to 23%.The manager is both aggressive and rude and doesn’t understand customer service. They turned the lights off as I was getting dressed from a 3 hour treatment that ended at 5:50pm and then proceeded to rush me. If you’re going to charge an extra $100 gratuity and call it service charge, then I need decent service at minimum. The massage was actually terrible and the facial was decent but she uncharged me because she thought the regular facial wasn’t great. If you want sub par service, bad food and have money to waste then sure this place might be it.But the hunt for a decent spa house continues. This place will never see me again. I also think it’s important to review these things on tiktok and IG to make people aware. Just because it looks good doesn’t mean it’s actually good.Oh and the salad was bland
What a wonderful day at The Houstonian Trellis Spa! The facilities are clean and well appointed, the staff are all very polite and attentive, and the food was beautifully presented and tasty. I only got a few photos because I gladly stored my phone away in a locker, but everything was very nice and relaxing. I highly recommend! 10 out of 10 stars!
I loved our day here on Sunday ! My massage therapist, Donald was extremely professional & it was a great massage! He was very thorough, & intentional w technique also the utilization of the table was awesome for my arm region !The staff was on point, strong communication here.Everyone has their place & it helps to keep the flow smooth! From Front Fd check in— to change area w attendants, to outdoor area attendees/ food/ drinks / locker room & out door region to upstairs concierge, & of course the therapists! It was extremely busy & yet seemed very organizedPs glad I was able to take photos for memory sake(def a bonus) & now we can share with others & hopefully inspire more people to take a wellness day!As National August Wellness month comes to a close -But really, every day is wellness day or should be;) thanks again everyone. Look forward to coming back next time in town!
Remains very clean & the employees are extremely attentive (from the front desk to the locker room attendants). The robes are lined with terrycloth which is great for semi-cool weather & when you exit the soaking tubs. Massages were extraordinary! Food = light bites & healthy (so dont expect to get full). But the food is delightful! Plenty of plunge pools & quiet areas to read. Absolutely worth a visit (must purchase a 50min+ treatment to enjoy the lounging spa areas). But well worth it!
Girls spa day bliss!!! I can not say enough about this spa. So bright and clean and up to date with the times. The staff were extremely helpful upon arrival and gave a well detailed tour of the spa.My friends and I arrived at 11 and had scheduled services for 12. We enjoyed relaxing and chatting and the going separate ways for procedures. Then we all met back up to enjoy drinks and snacks and spent the rest of the day by the pools leaving around 6.I will say it was quite packed but expected for a peek Saturday. My 100 minute cbd massage was absolute bliss. Sandra asked me plenty of questions thru out to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying it. I also did the add on diamond eye treatment. It’s for sure a splurge treat of a day. We all spent on average $600 for the day so just be prepared but it was a great experience and day for a staycation treat!
I really wanted to love this place. Ive heard good things about it. I read the reviews but it was not worth spending $250 for a 50 mins massage. Mandatory gratuity (23%) is ridiculous when their service level is nowhere close to deserving this percentage. The ladies who worked in the locker room area was NOT helpful and looked annoyed when we were asking questions or needing help with our locker only to see another lady who came in after us and the ladies did a complete 180 on her and was overly helpful with her. The front desk folks told us the ladies in the locker room will show us around the spa and tell us the about the amenities. NONE of this happened and we had to walk around lost and figure things out on our own. I was looking forward to my massage but left very disappointed as well. It was not impressive at all compare to other places I have been previously. I have been lucky enough to experience spas all over the world and I will not be going back to Trellis. After our massage, we went to TRIBUTE to have a late lunch and again the service level was not what we expected. We thought food was good but I definitely expected better experience after reading the reviews and the price tag we paid to be there. The spa and lunch was about a $1000 that day and personally it was not worth it.
So I decided to treat myself for my birthday this year and I tried out the Trellis spa. I cannot even begin to describe the amazing experience I had. The place is beautiful and updated, check in was super smooth and the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. They showed us the whole facility so we would not get lost or confused. We started off in the locker rooms where they gave us a robe and sandals, the robe was super warm and comfortable, the lockers were super easy to use so no confusion. The indoor pool is super nice and the water temperature is perfect, that room is a bit colder. The pools outside are hot tubs which are at an amazing temperature, they have towels, restrooms and an outdoor shower. The staff outside is super attentive and brings you anything you need. I received a massage and a facial and both of the ladies who did each service was AMAZING and super sweet, they truly care about your comfort. The food was delicious and fresh! The restaurant on the second floor is beautiful with great views. I am so sad that the prices are pretty expensive because if they werent I would be there all the time but it is so worth it, you get what you pay for. If you have been thinking of coming here, do it! TREAT YOURSELF!
Second time here and love it!Outdoor area is beautiful and service is great.Restaurant has lots of healthy options and has a nice view of the Houstonian trees and flowers.Fascial is really good here. I highly recommend Kristine. , She is very thorough and listens to your needs.Definitely will come back 🙏🏻
Very lovely day spa with lots of amenities. You can get your hair done, nails done, get a massage, facial, a wax and more treatments. Theres a small dipping pool, two large hot tubs to lounge. Theres a large, dark quiet area to read or nap. Theres very nice showers and even a station to do makeup yourself or blow dry your hair. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The attendants are very attentive and friendly. Food was good, but pricey although that is to be expected at a luxury spa. The only reason I took a star off is because for the price, my massage was ok. It wasnt terrible and no big complaints, I was still very relaxed, but Ive gotten better massages. For example, I felt like for several parts, the massage therapist was just using one hand and when they were done with an area, they sort of just fluttered their fingers over the area which I found useless. Other than that, will definitely be going back to relax and enjoy the facilities.
A zero could not be given so I had to leave a 1. I learned a valuable lesson from Trellis Spa at the Houstonian in Houston Hotel last week. I called on Friday, June 28 around 2:30p and asked if there were any openings the following Monday for 2 people for massages. I was told they had a 9 and a 10am time open. I asked for the 10a appointment. I gave my credit card and was told about the cancellation policy if not notified 24 hours prior to appointment. The appointment day (Monday) and time (10) was reviewed. There was no date discussed. I recall this because the appointment made was on July 1 and it was still June. There was no July date discussed in our conversation. I was told and email would be sent.I showed up with my family member on Mon at 10 as planned and was told our appointment was scheduled for Sun, not Mon and that my credit card had been charged the full amount. I was shocked and disappointed as this was a gift to my family member also. I explained that I would not show up on Mon if I planned to make the appointment on Sun. I asked to see the manager.I do not recall the manager’s name but she was polite. I explained the situation and asked if she could assist. She stated she could give us the use of the amenities (that we had paid for anyway) if we still wanted but that would not include a massage. I would need to pay again for massages. The charge to my credit card was $400. She explained that I had received an email to confirm. I had but my mistake was trusting the Spa that the date was correct. I saw the times and never even looked at the date. I had no reason to doubt it was correct.I must say that I cannot recall booking any appointment for any services that I did not receive several reminder emails and text messages reminding me of my appointments to the point of being annoying. In the case, I received one email confirming appointment. Nothing on Sat or Sun and no calls or texts to check on the appointment.I made the appointment with Trellis because I recognize them as high class. I came to their offsite spa when they were under renovation and enjoyed it. The price alone should speak for itself to be of a higher caliber. I expected the same in customer service. Being in the service industry myself, I understand the importance of taking care of your return customers. I was not offered even half the refund or even one of the massages. I did not feel there was any empathy or attempt to correct the error.I truly know that I asked for Mon and that no date was given back. I would have caught the difference between Sun, JUNE 30 vs. Mon, JULY 1. I also truly believe it was simply human error that entered the appointment into the wrong date. I just wanted Trellis to own up to this and provide the service that day or a refund. I will not be returning to Trellis. We did end our day on a good note and had massages same day at Milk and Honey. I received 4 text messages that day from Milk and Honey to confirm and remind me of our appointment for that day. We were very impressed with their services and they were half the price. Hopefully, Trellis can catch up with the tech world and upgrade their reminder systems to avoid losing more customers.
Trellis is a little slice of heaven! Not only were my squad and I there for about 6 hours but we had the full experience! Talk about rolling out the red carpet and having just a full day of rest and relaxation! If you’re looking for a place to relax and be pampered…. This is the place for you!Veronica give the best Oxygen facials!!!!!
I loved getting pedicures here but came down with the flu last night, and they want to charge my to reschedule. So I’m showing up fever and all! I feel bad for the workers. Also I go all the time and have never canceled same day, so they should be able to see I’m a customer in good standing.
Ironically, this was a stressful experience for a place that you pay to relax. In short, the service crew and beauty technicians were great, but the reception people were terrible. My girlfriends and I went on a weekend to indulge ourselves with pedicures and body treatments, booked at different times. However, upon arrival, the receptionist told us that we couldnt use the amenities unless we booked body treatments, facials or massages. We were shocked, as we thought any 50-minute service would suffice. Only after reading the confirmation emails with service fine print did we realize this restriction. Before my treatment began, the receptionist said she would check with management if we could stay and enjoy the amenities. Meanwhile, my friends tried negotiating other options - namely swapping treatments, renting a cabana, or buying a day pass. But we were told no as that they were at capacity. After my treatment, I joined my friends on the patio, since we werent allowed to use the amenities. We ordered food and drinks, and the food turned out to be disappointing. Later our server told us a cabana cost $300 and asked if we want one, contrary to what the receptionists told us.When my friend and I checked out, the receptionists tried to charge me an extra $145 for a day pass that they claimed wasnt available. At first, they said I overstayed my timeslot, then that I used the amenities. Both accusations were false (as proven by my bone-dry bikini). But because my friend had add-ons for her pedicure, they didnt charge her for the day pass. Again, this wasn’t communicated to me. No apologies were given even after proving them wrong.I usually dont leave bad reviews, but this experience was demeaning. Dont come here and waste your money, especially if youre POC. Just a word of advice for management - you might want to spell out your T&Cs and all the rules before the poors like me book an appointment.
The Trellis Spa is known as the preeminent spa in Houston. It’s crazy there with the number of people scheduled for services at the top of the hour. Booking 3-4 weeks out is necessary especially if you have any hope of scheduling for the weekend. The updates are very nice and the new outdoor hot tub area is gorgeous. I highly recommend the salt glow prior to the massage. Your skin feels like butter afterwards. It’s well worth it. Especially after the winter months nothing beats a good exfoliating treatment. I’d like a day pass and to have lunch at the pools.
Just go. Omg just do it. I will leave a tip that I didn’t receive and that is: you can use the amenities at the spa all day the day of your booking. Also do be sure to bring some swimwear to enjoy the whirlpools. We had a great time in spite of. Will return soon. It’s too tier. The couples massage was one to remember !
I love this place! I’ve only been 3 times and each time has been wonderful. I got a 100 minute CBD message this time and it was incredible!! My massage therapist had me snoring lol. She has magic hands!! The pool area is so relaxing and tranquil. The bubbling hot tub outside felt so good and therapeutic. Service was impeccable and it’s very clean. Can’t wait to go back!
The Trellis Spa is hands down phenomenal! I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful my day was or recommend my service providers anymore highly! While I was there I had a Swedish Massage, the Diamond Rose Pedicure, an Express Manicure, and the Diamond Facial.Helen gave me my massage and was really good about creating a calm relaxing environment while hitting my key spots and checking in periodically to make sure the pressure was just right.Andrea gave me a beautiful pedicure in a nice and tranquil environment. Bonus is she really worked hard on my terrible heels! My feet are finally ready for sandals.Charmayne made my skin look like it did when I was in my 20s with the Diamond White Facial. She walked me through each step and explained what I should be feeling through each part of the process and made it both an educational and relaxing experience. My lunch and relaxation time was also superb; from the pool and whirlpool, to lunch on the balcony, to a nap in the tranquility room, I could not have hoped forns better day! They are beyond 5 stars and I hope I can go back soon!
Wonderful time, both Mr. Kendal and Mr Patrick performed excellent massages and the facials were fabulous . Hot tubs were relaxing while being user friendly at the same time. Just a wonderful relaxing time with sister. Salad choices could be a little more down to earth, say a spinach, strawberry walnut, or Ceasars salad, or even a wedge, but other than that, excellent. Thanks 😊
What a great experience at the spa. They have made sure to take great precautions onto the Covid guidelines. From the receptionist to the masseuse everything was fantastic. This facility is very well laid and the staff is exceptionally professional. The men’s locker was very well planned with great amenities and it has perfect areas just socialize with your friends or loved ones.I will definitely be visiting his place again.
Such a Disappointing ExperienceWe recently visited the Trellis at the Houstonian for a couples massage, hoping for a relaxing retreat. However, our experience was far from satisfactory. When our scheduled time arrived, we were informed that we would be separated for the massage, which was not what we had planned for our retreat day as a couple. After a discussion with one of the staff members, it was revealed that couples massages are only available for 100 minutes, doubling both the time and cost. Unfortunately, this didnt align with our preferences, and we felt limited in our choices. Moreover, we had to wait all day for the massage, only to be told that rescheduling would be considered a favor, with very restricted availability during weekdays.Im disappointed with the lack of flexibility and communication. A managers involvement or at least a genuine conversation about the situation would have been appreciated. The spas approach left us with a sour experience, and its disheartening that there were no alternatives or concessions provided. We had hoped to make this a regular retreat, but the overall experience has left us hesitant to return. A one-time weekend offer for the 50-minute couples massage could have been a thoughtful solution, acknowledging the inconvenience we faced. In summary, we expected a worthwhile experience but left feeling dissatisfied. I hope this feedback helps the spa improve its customer experience for others. We will most definitely not recommend again.
I visited Trellis Spa at 5 PM with my sister, expecting a luxurious experience as its renowned to be one of the best in Houston. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we anticipated.Upon arrival, we were initially directed to unavailable lockers, causing an unnecessary delay. It felt as though our reservation was overlooked, which is disappointing for an establishment of this caliber. The hygiene standards were questionable as well, as I found someone elses hair on my spa robe. The massage itself was satisfactory, but the post-massage experience drastically lowered the quality of our visit. To our dismay, the refreshment room was empty right after our treatment. This abrupt end to our relaxation, and being rushed out, was quite jarring. My concerns were compounded when reviewing the bill. A 23% Trellis Service Charge, essentially a mandatory gratuity, was added without transparency. When I sought clarification from the manager, her response was dismissive, reflecting poor customer service and a lack of understanding in management. As a loyal customer for over 11 years, I am deeply disappointed. Trellis Spa needs better management and process optimization. All guests deserve consistent and high-quality service, regardless of their appointment time. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to necessary improvements.
The best place for an all-day, relaxing spa experience. My husband and I enjoyed our massages, the whirlpool, reading in the quiet lounge areas, and lunch on the patio.
Memorable Experience...I wish I could indulge every single week! Love Love Love this place! The atmosphere, the royal treatment, the much needed reprieve from the stress of the world. Absolute Joy!
Had a relaxing spa day with friends. My massage was wonderful, and the facilities and amenities are top notch
This place should take a serious analyzation regarding customer service and professionalism. It was very hard to get simple questions answered every answer was “I don’t know”. The manager also seemed not able to answer questions thoroughly when asked about discrepancies with scheduled booking. It may have been more of a discrimination matter!
Went with my fiancé for her birthday gift to hang out for the day and get facials. Facility was nice enough, but they lost us as a customer because they double charged us for our facials. We paid 550$ in person for the 2 facials. Then later in the evening another 250$ charge came through, when we called the person that we talked to about the extra charge was not helpful at all and told us they wouldn’t be able to refund the full amount of the extra charge. Will be disputing this with my credit card company I guess since they refused to refund full anmount of a charge made in error, and will not be coming back or recommending Trellis.
Great experience with friends. The spa was very accommodating. Enjoyable amenities as you wait for your service. Snacks and drinks were great. The lounge area can get very busy if there are many people so hopefully they can expand this for big rushes. It would have been nice to kick it back a relax but the seating was limited.
Barton listen and made sure to take care of my problems are during my facial. He also has the softest hands ever! For the massage if you want a deep tissue massage go with Luis! He did a great job as well. Rebecca did my nails and she was also pleasant and detailed with every step. Over all the staff was great and helpful.
Last weekend, my husband surprised me with a prenatal massage as an early Mothers Day gift. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff provided excellent service, and I was impressed with the overall experience. However, my experience took a turn when I met my masseur upstairs. After introducing himself and escorting me to the room, he asked how far along I was in my pregnancy. Upon sharing the information, he made an unsettling comment, saying, Wow, you look much further along. Its crazy how differently women carry. This remark was highly inappropriate and unprofessional, and it completely ruined the remainder of my spa visit and what was supposed to be an enjoyable night away.Leaving the spa feeling extremely upset, I sent an email requesting the managers contact so that I could explain the situation. Although I received a response within 24 hours, the managers apology felt insincere and lacked genuine concern. The apology was followed by a statement suggesting that they could make it up to me on my next visit by ensuring it doesn’t happen again. Frankly, after paying $250 for the treatment and enduring such an unpleasant experience, there is no reason for me to consider returning to this spa. Their attempt to rectify the situation seemed half-hearted, offering no substantial incentive for me to give them another chance. Given that this spa was promoted as a higher end establishment, I expected a higher level of professionalism and customer care.
This is a great away from home relaxing spa getaway. Everything was perfect from the first greeting at the front desk to the best message therapist (Denise) followed by our tour and suggestions with sweet Lizbeth to most wonderful poolside host ever Leo, he was amazing and very attentive to every guest. And lets not forget about the locker room hostesses, they were very nice and attentive as well. I can truly say that the Houstonian Trellis Spa has a dream team working for them.
Deeply disappointed by the visit.1. The pool area and the attendant Leo are amazing, probably the only reason the day wasn’t spoiled completely.2. The massage was ok, though the hygienic procedures should be definitely improved. Getting a scalp massage right after getting a foot massage WITHOUT hearing a massaging washing their hands is very questionable.3. This visit was supposed to be a gift for my friend that also was getting the same procedures as me, and her massage specialist simply didn’t do the scalp treatment. It doesn’t matter if they forgot or overlooked, but as a additional enhancement with an extra charge to your the service should never be overlooked. The floor attendant wasnt friendly and I left disappointed.4. The food is not adequate enough for the consumption, but Trellis Spa decided it’s better off making money even if the food is terrible. We have gotten semi-cooked (no, not medium rare, but actually semi-cooked) beef salad and a salmon salad. Both were really bad. Salmon was spoiled. When we mentioned that to the server, she said “I’m sorry”, and brought the bill with no other reaction. The manager smiled and said “sorry for that”. She compted the salad after all, but we felt terrible that we had to go and talk to someone at the front to be treated fairly.5. Overall experience: not good. It’s not worth the price tag, and the level of the quality could be better.Just look at the menus, I don’t believe it’s so hard to make presentable menus, and not these printouts.
Front desk staff was super sweet. The facility is nice. The pool area is beautiful. Was scheduled for a 100min CBD massage and the light went out 40 mins into my massage. My therapist continued hoping the light would come back on. We were told the spa was closing. Had to maneuver thru the spa with a glow stick and get to my locker and get dressed in the dark...they did have a lantern. This wasnt their fault. An accident on the freeway took out the power. My problem is with the way management chose to handle it! On my way out I was told to check out. I was trying to figure out how Id get to my car in the dark... I was surprised the computers were working. I was mortified to hear the Manager tell the cashier to charge me for my full service. I was appalled. Why Do I even have to argue with management that i didnt receive a full 100 mins? She then instructed them to charge me for 50 mins. I did get about 60 mins....30 mins .....and then 30 mins in the complete dark and no music.....so the last 30mins wasnt relaxing....we were both worried about the power being out and what was going on. I wasnt able to relax and enjoy the spa afterwards. I would have thought they would have comped this one and have me reschedule. I wont be returning.
Summary: a place to *feel* special, overpriced treatments, not exactly European as claimed, basic amenities, focus on service culture more than spa culturePrep: Locker rooms was crowded, making it impossible to change. My group and I waited 10 minutes for other guests to change so we could access the space. Pockets in robes are sewn shut so you cant carry anything. Why? Everyone was walking around with phones, so its not like they are off limits or something. The spa: The claim of being European is cute. As a resident of Europe, I can assure you the spas here are far more equipped and focused on bringing the benefits of spa/sauna culture to the people who partake. Im used to a variety of saunas (different temps, dry, infrared, with/without sound, etc), a cold pool/shower, and a variety of warmer pools (ranging warm to hot). There are also instructions and tools to help you understand how to take advantage of the different options (e.g. what to do, in what order, for how long, to what end). I didnt find any of this, only several warm/hot tubs, which became quite crowded in the afternoon. Was fine for hanging out, but not a proper spa in my opinion. I did hear later there was *a* sauna indoors, but this was not made clear to me upon entering. There were no instructions around use of the premises besides where to get slippers and robes, where to eat, and where to go for treatments. The focus was on the treatments.Treatments: you must book in advance. They were not able to add anything day-of. I had an inhibit facial. It was fine. But for $250+23% I expect a little more than fine. Yes, the table was ergonomically pleasing, the service was very customer-centric, the process was seamless. But I am personally less interested in paying to be served than paying to receive a service I cannot perform myself. The massage parts of my facial were too gentle for my liking. There seemed to be a few kobido-esque elements, which I appreciated. But I can get a full 90-min kobido facial where I live for €70, so... The person helping me was kind and knowledgeable. She didnt push products on me but gave good advice. I just didnt feel much difference.Lunch: The range of salads was OK, but a bit of a surprise. I ordered the steak salad and got a cold steak on a plate of separated cold vegetables (made me 💬 nk of what I serve my small kids — little pile of shredded carrots, broccoli, tofu, etc). The Americans in the group were not surprised by this. I expected warm roasted vegetables and a warm steak with my salad, so I was disappointed. They were kind enough to take it back and bring something else. Chicken and pumpkin was good, with delicious dressing. Loved the Nutella dessert.Price: I didnt drink alcohol, and my afternoon of one 50-min treatment and lunch came to around $400.Overall: The feeling I got was that much attention was paid to making the experience feel posh. People were constantly serving things, bringing things, being helpful, etc. But the spa itself was below average compared to a typical spa in the Netherlands (where we pay a fraction of the price), or Iceland, or Turkey, or Sweden... This felt like a typical hotel spa, but then highly staffed. I dont need to feel served to feel pampered, so this wasnt how Id prefer a spa day, but thats different for everyone. I personally wouldnt go back, though the girls I was with seemed to love it. Id much rather go to a hammam where you come out feeling reborn, even if youre not treated like royalty.
Poor communication from the front desk and Trellis Spa. I went there today because I received a gift certificate as a christmas gift, i had a friendly facial from Sabrina, she was great. But when I went to checkout the front desk supervisor told me i would have to pay a, her words, mandatory gratuity! I shared my dissatisfaction with her and this fee for at least 10 minutes and was told i had no option. No option? You say your service cost one price only to bait and switch your patrons when they checkout!? Its disgusting and small coming from Trellis! It would be different if there was a sign or i was told prior to signing in, Sir even if your service is terrible today were going to charge you a mandatory gratuity in addition to what we said it was going to cost. Shouldnt gratuity be at the discretion of the gratified? Why do this? Why not just list your price and charge it. What if I had a bad service why is Trellis Spa forcing patrons to pay a gratuity and not telling them beforehand. If you want more money just set your price so the people know what theyre getting into. Its very small and ruined my otherwise good experience. Would I have tipped if not for that, of course yes. But now Im never going back, and if you go, ask how much the mandatory gratuity will be so at least you know what youre getting into. Trellis Spa should charge more and pay your staff enough that this disgusting type of practice doesnt have to happen, run a survey from your guests and that will tell you which staff to keep and not keep. So disappointing...
I had the most amazing massage by Becki. I work in healthcare and my muscles are always so sore …..she is a miracle worker and makes it possible for me to be able to do my job everyday. I have found my masseuse for life ! Beautiful spa, awesome place for.a girls indulgence weekend !
I enjoyed a very nice lunch and spa day with my sister at the Trellid Spa. Beautiful decor and lovely staff.
This place is amazing. Book a service and spend the entire day relaxing by the pools. Its so beautiful. I had a facial with Veronica, it was wonderful. Ive had 1 other facial and didnt like it so I wasnt too excited to try again. I was so wrong, it was a great experience. She really educated me about my skin and how to take care of it.I went with my friend and her boyfriend for her birthday and we all had the best time.
Just now doing this review since I passed by the Houstonian and remembered.Pros:1. Great massage if youre looking to relax2. Friendly staffCons:1. 50 min session could be updated to be an hour session, massage felt short. Especially for the price point for a 50 min session which is $200. Plus you also have to account for the time you undress and dress, so maybe more like a 45 min session or so.
Very displeased with the customer service. Had a gift certificate in possession & called ahead to plan on redeeming and re-confirm the certificate was valid. Spoke with two separate representatives on separate occasions to confirm then went through a whole spa day, including massage, lunch and facial with upgrades, unaware that at checkout all of a sudden the certificate was no longer valid. I was then told that I redeemed this certificate back in 2021. Why wouldn’t this information be provided in the very beginning while booking? Spoke with management with a too bad so sad response. She couldn’t even meet me in the middle nor offer to cover additional add-ons. The agent that checked me out had a horrible attitude with no empathy & seemed to take joy with in my dissatisfaction. If I would’ve known the certificate was no longer valid I would’ve totally & completely planned my spa day differently. I will not be recommending or attending this spa In the future. Plus who in the world keeps outdoor pools sauna temperature hot in 100° weather?
My coworker and I had our first time experience and let me say, this place was awesome and we did not want to go home!We got a certificate (the works) back in February and we were told our package did change, but they would honor the same items we had.The initial ladies who helped us with our robes and gave us a run down where everything was were amazing. Im sad I did not get their names.Daniela, she has been there many years and she knew that place like a glove! I hope she stays many more years! She made us feel so comfortable!I had a massage with Becky Truxillo and let me say, it was the best massage I ever had.I had a facial with Crina Strachan and let me say, she was amazing, gentle and provided me great tips for my face.We had lunch where we had a few waitresses/waiter assisted us and had a delicious steak bowl.We lastly had manicures and pedicures with Esther Lee and Rebecca Sylvester and let me say they were amazing. They made our ending to a great day sad because we did not want to leave. They gave us great tips on how to care for our nails moving forward. We hope to come back and enjoy another great day. Lastly, when paying at the end, the cashier, Jessica was great. We did notice the gratuity was pretty high but I do believe these ladies deserves it and much more! I would for sure come back and recommend to anyone!
Ive enjoyed spas all over the world- from 5star resorts to smaller, intimate locations. Unfortunately, the Trellis is lacking in many areas. Full transparency- i received a facial, massage and lunch, and spent about 5 hrs total. A few observations: Locker room attendants should be trained to be attentive- I should have received a small introductory tour of the locker room- but instead had to ask where the steam room was located, how to get to the pool, where to put used towels, etc. Both during the facial and massage it felt like a sales pitch to come back- specifically to see them. Id never experienced that at any spa. The meal- an appetizer-sized dry salad was definitely overpriced. The indoor/outdoor pool attendants should be trained to open doors, offer water, etc. During my time, an attendant walked through as I was opening the door for myself. Lounge areas- need to be more open and inviting- definitely not enough seating area- and accoustics need to be improved- every conversation could be heard. On the plus side, the heated pools were comfortable.
Someone just hung up in my face as soon as they answered the phone?? This is Friday October 27 @ 10:05 am. I also knew i would be 15 min late to my massage and Called them hours before to ask to move it back during to an emergency & they didn’t care and said no. So by the time i get there , find parking (took 10 mins to find) walk inside , change into robe i am 30 mins into my massage and they only let me have a 20 minute massage as a result for $250 . Service today was terrible . It also took the pool attendants over 20 minutes to come greet me . They serviced everyone else in the pool, but me. Go somewhere who understands that things happen and you can’t always be right on time & who accommodates you! Way to expensive for terrible service .
Giving 2 stars for the wonderful lunch, facial & massage. ZERO stars for communication & customer service. My relaxing day ended at check out. Received a gift certificate for Trellis escape package for 2. Called 3 weeks ago to book, gave certificate info & everything was booked. Went to check out today to be told that the certificate had been redeemed (by the purchaser, who apparently owns all rights to the certificate even though it was CLEARLY in our name) & we were on the hook for over $1k in charges. Trellis is nice but at that price point, it wouldn’t have been my first choice. Staff was unapologetic & not helpful. They were also very busy with lots of bookings so things felt overall rushed. I will not be back. And please be sure to check certificate value if you plan to redeem or you may be in for an expensive surprise! In addition, as a long time client of Trellis, spa services aren’t what they used to be. Crowded, noisy & too bright. And please put some REAL pockets on the robes!
Went in for a bikini/upper leg wax. Veronica was pleasant. Loved her aura. And the little grin she did right before she ripped the wax off was amusing. Very knowledgeable about her art. The only thing I had an issue with was that I could not join my friend who was getting a massage at my expense for lunch. They directed me to another restaurant inside the hotel which was of no interest to me at the moment. I was a guest of the hotel and felt some type of way about my access to the amenities. 5 stars for Veronica, 3 for that policy.
The staff was friendly as well as attentive to guests and the environment. I had a massage with Jorge, which was truly transcending- I would say heavenly. I enjoyed going into the steam room and reflection pool after the massage. It was just what I needed. I can’t think of a better place to be pampered.
I have been a customer for years. The experience this last time wasn’t great at all. They have increased the price and decreased the service. It was way too packed. It wasn’t an enjoyable experience. And they are now charging a 23% gratuity without advising the customers upfront. 23% is a bit excessive. As many businesses struggle to survive Covid these changes have decreased the level of service and exclusivity of this spa.
Always a relaxing experience. Clean and upscale location. Uniformed Staff are professional. Nail services and gift store on site. Snack/tea/wine served. Privacy observed. Houstonian club members do get a discount depending on ur level of membership. Price is reasonable for services received. Location is clean. Abundant parking. Close to the Houston, Galleria
My husband bought me a spa package (50 min massage, lunch, facial incl. 22% gratuity) before the pandemic. My son bought me a 50 min. massage for XMas. My husband & I used both today. My husband used the massage and added lunch. I used the package. If you are use to the former Trellis Spa, be aware, this place is a shadow of its former self. When you buy a package, make sure you keep the sheet with the breakdown of services included because if you dont have it, they will try and use the dollar amount you paid at todays rates instead of the actual package at the rate you bought it. They no longer specify on the website the types of massages but instead have a vague menu custom massage which explains a lot about the lack of the deep tissue massage I requested versus what I actually received. My facial which I up upgraded from a traditional Trellis facial to a Tolerance facial because I have sensitive skin and the product was different (neither of these are listed on their current menu) left a lot to be desired.I left with some sort of orange tinted gel or moisturizer on my face (without explanation) and realized it when I went to the bathroom afterwards and there was orange on the towel. I tell you this because my expectations would have been to leave with a clean face (clear moisturizer, if any) and if you are wearing a light color top, there is the likely possibility it would stain your clothes. The old days of having your hands and feet wrapped in warm towels is gone. After many years of coming here with my husband for a weekend, having wonderful meals and exceptional spa experiences, this experience left me feeling like we wasted hundreds of dollars for very little relaxation. It took about 20 minutes to reconcile the bill because of the package price that was originally purchased versus the current price, their 22% gratuity that was included versus their 23% service charge now, for treatments there is a 23% service charge but no gratuity is included for meals. They want to charge you or your guest that extra 1% that became effective Feb. 10, 2023. So, after your maybe or maybe not relaxing treatment(s) be sure and bring your patience to the checkout. Ill give them 2 stars for the facility and beauty but zero stars for the treatments and price. On a positive note, we had an outstanding lunch and server on their beautiful outdoor patio.
Have been here prior to renovations and assumed service and amenities would have improved. Let’s just say for a relaxing day I left less relaxed than I started.- 2 lockers broken locks on entering was not a great start.- mens sauna out of service- massage was nice with ok flow but no wow as far as room or extra “techniques” as you see at some spas.- mens waiting area extremely small. So if the lockers worked, items weren’t out of service we might be at a 3.5/4 but at check out we went backwards again. New policy is 23% service charge.I felt like you were in Vegas or with a oversized party were they now can provide so so service, have broken items but than charge you additional fees.Left a bad taste in my mouth to charge that on top of not even asking how service was.Was hoping for better and hope they can get these items addressed to provide a better customer experience.
For a high end Spa this my third time here and my husband got me a mothers day present he got the time wrong and I got here with 15mins left on my facial which didnt make sense by the time I got changed it wouldnt work out. I asked if I could pay something of a cancelation fee for missing my facial and then reschedule and it was a hard no. While I understand business is business this is why we support other smaller facial boutiques because they are more accommodating. At the end I had to pay $250 for a service I never received which includes product etc. So talk about profit centered compared to people focused. This is not the place for the regular Joe. I left feeling bad that my husband wasted his time thinking he was giving me the best present when this turned out to be the worse day and a waste of our money that I wish we had supported another business. In the end I HAD to get my pedicure otherwise I would have to pay for two services. Did not enjoy any moment of it.
I planed a massage for me and my spouse, on her birthday. The only time avaliable was 5pm. so I made other adjustments and spent more money to make adjustments for this time etc, I have email conformation I showed the clerk etc. They said something must have happened and canceled our massage. It definitely was unprofessional and nothing was done to accommodate for time or money lost I wont be returning. The only reason this gets one star is because I couldnt give it 0
I came here for my birthday and had an absolutely AMAZING time! The service from the staff there is top-notch. From speaking to the customer service rep when making my last-minute reservation, to eating dinner at the Houstonian that evening, everyone whom we encountered was exceptional and dedicated to providing excellent service. My husband and I had all of our requests attended to. We spent the entire day there with the day spa retreat package with a private cabana. Soaking in the saltwater jacuzzi pools is incredibly relaxing. I was worried that because of the heat that the pools would be too warm, but they did a great job managing the temperature to provide optimal comfort. Its a beautiful place to treat yourself. I will definitely be going back there soon.
Horrible experience and never returning. Everyone should read this before booking their next appointment. I booked an appointment for my mother for Mother’s Day in less than 20 hours on late Thursday. Now, when I initially called they were all booked until Monday and called back which they had some cancellations. I was filling their holes up the following morning. My mother was not feeling well the following morning which her appointment was set for. She called before her appointment to state that she was not feeling well and will not make it. Lisa, who is the on manager said no refunds and reschedules can be made. This is ridiculous especially I was filling up nonexisting appointments for them at the last minute. Order a hydra facial which was stated to be $85 and 50 minute massage which was $190. Total of $275 plus tax. Ordered a lunch in between and they said would you like to gratuity, sure. Total $407 and some change. They not only don’t want to accommodate a 68-year-old woman but they want to charge me the full amount. She ate no lunch, no services were rendered to receive a gratuity. Absolutely no services for performed. This is ridiculous and unsympathetic to the situation on hand. This place get a F-. They could have done something especially for a 68 year old mother. Thanks a lot Trellis for the non services.
Great experience every time. They pay attention to all the little details and have very wonderful staff.
Must read review: Ive had hundreds of massages in my life, and Ive never had a worse customer service experience in my life. The manager was extremely condescending attempting to address our concerns throughout our stay. Furthermore, she was wearing a shirt with cartoon foxes on it, which looked rather unprofessional for a luxury spa.Our services felt rushed and cookie cutter. There was not enough seating in the waiting area to accommodate our large party. Spas should be a place to relax and unwind, not sit pushed up close to other people.20% Gratuity was automatically added to our spa services because we were a large party. I understand gratuity being added to a large party for dining but not for INDIVIDUAL spa services where every treatment is performed separately...expecially with sub par treatments. The experience and value is 10x better at Post Oak Hotel. Go there!!
Spa is nice but to spend $190 plus 40.00 tip for a 50 minute massage is kinda crazy. But if it’s good well ok… but it was not. I get better massages for $60.00 in china town. I asked twice for more pressure he would do for about 30 seconds then go back to “why am i here pressure”..We had lunch, champagne and rose with lunch. Spent a lot of money, big disappointment.
Poor communication! I asked in person and over the phone about making a reservation for lunch before my services at 1. The staff told me I didn’t need to. Specifically came early with my wife for her birthday to have lunch and they said no reservations until 2. We were starving. Hardly anyone eating lunch too. Then I told her he concierge we wanted the 2 reservation and when we went back she never booked it.My wife had services the week before and staff had quoted her $100-150. Service ended up being $180. We complained nothing done about either concern. Services are great and staff friendly.
Horrible service. They gave packets of products to customers and told them to go home and finish their service. 2 years ago they cancelled booking while people were waiting in the lobby to get checked in with no notice. When concerns were raised to staff members they were dismissive unhelpful, entitled, unprofessional and to immature to interact with another grown up. If I could give zero stars I would. It’s really surprising how bad the spa is when the hotel and restaurants are so well managed. It’s clear the good parts of the resort do a better job staffing, training, and customer service compared to the spa.
The HR lady was kind, nice, and respectful. Her name is Ms. Kay...The GM was also and a few others!!!I filled out a application to work here but I see the Hispanic mgr. Over servers and busses dont want or need my services. His loss my gain. God bless him for his purpose for not hiring me!!!So many people has told me nice things about the Houstonian. But after this incident,I dont know. The Hispanic mgr. Was kinda like had some sort of prejudice against me. All he had to do was give me a chance to prove myself to the company...Even Ms. Anne thought I was a good fit,she was the one who sent me a email asking me to come in for a interview,oh well God bless him and the Houstonian
Not the greatest!Started off a little shaky with the scheduling and the expectations set at that time. I tried booking online but it was not very user friendly so I had to call and get scheduled which was fine. During that call I was told to expect a call confirming the appointment and also to select my meal.Fast forward, I never received that call. Once I showed up to my appointment I was asked about my meal because I never made my selection - I explained that I never received a call, and at that point he apologized and continued to check me in. No big deal really, it happens. My massage and facial were good and relaxing. The amenities seemed nice but nothing out of this world. Food was also good. Not a bad experience. The problem was at the time of checking out - this took the experience from an 8/9 to a ZERO, will never return, will never recommend. For my visit, I was redeeming a gift certificate that I received over the holidays so I only booked the services that were covered with that certificate. During my facial and meal I was offered additional items (face peal and dessert) which I knew would be an out of pocket expense. I was told the additional peal was $49 more and my desert was about $13.As I was checking out I was told I owed $180 something which did not add up at all!! Once I inquired for that amount to be broken out for me they found 1 mistake and adjusted it but then explained to me that there was an additional charge of $40 for changing my original scheduled service.I tried arguing the point that this was NEVER disclosed when Valerie suggested the facial peal - she clearly stated it would only be a price difference of $49 from the treatment I was originally scheduled for, never disclosed that there are change fees associated with this upgrade. All they could tell me was we will make sure to train our employees betterI felt completely mislead and cheated because it is not like I can return or cancel the treatment so I was stuck having to pay for a change fee that makes no sense!!!Not worth the money, not worth the experience... Very disappointing that what was supposed to be a nice relaxing afternoon, turned into a very upsetting experience.
Husband made a reservation for a couples massage for my birthday. When we arrived it was a bit confusing knowing where the door to the place was. When we were finally greeted at the front desk, my husband told them we had a couples massage reservation. The women told us it was not put down as a couples massage and that they had only one and that room was already booked. And nothing she could do. I was disappointed because it was my husbands first massage and it was something I wanted to do together. She asked if it was booked online or called in, my husband said booked online but had to call in and specifically tell the person on the phone it was for a couples massage and clarified it would be one room. But she was unable to get us in one room. She finally offered to give us a free champagne bottle or 15% off the service. We took the 15% off because I am pregnant. After we got our separate massage, we checked out and I realized they did not take off 15% off. Overall, bad experience.Definitely do not recommend nor will we ever be back. There are way more massage spa to go to.
Today was so DISAPPOINTING!! If zero stars was an option, I would give that instead. Please take heed to the little nuisances people are mentioning in the reviews like paperwork taking up massage time, not getting proper customer service when issues arise, etc. Lisa, the manager, seems to be called out quite a few times in the reviews for poor customer service and I have to absolutely concur. She was consistent to what the bad reviews point out.My assigned massage therapist Patricia did NOT do a good job. She started late and of the 30 mins I was there, I was mostly lying on the table waiting for her to continue the massage. Honestly, here was no massage. All she did was occasionally spread oil on my back in between raising and lowering the table multiple times, washing her hands, rinsing out towels and searching for oils. It was so bad that I asked her to stop in the middle of the session and left because I was not relaxed or getting the service I scheduled. As a licensed massage therapist myself, I know the various massage strokes and she did none of them. When I went to the front desk to complain, Kaya let me know that I would not be charged for the services today. Services that I was not going to pay for because I was not getting what I asked for anyway. I asked to speak to a manager and Lisa comes out. She says to me that she knows what happened and the therapist said she tried to adjust to my feedback. Which just was not the truth. Patricia was to busy doing other things rather than the massage but does Lisa know this? Did Lisa bother to ask me about my experience? No. She just assumed what the therapist reported was accurate but yet you have a customer complaining to you and you dont really know why. How can Lisa say she knows what happened whens she never asked me about my customer experience? How can you provide good customer service if you dont get the customer perspective? At any rate, this is not a place I would refer to anyone. I was expecting the quality of the visit to match the price point and it just does not. It was crowded in the waiting areas and no privacy in the locker room area because of all of the staff that is supposed to help you is standing around talking. The entire experience was a complete waste of time.
Beautiful spa & had a great facial, however my massage was not good at all. The lady who checked me out was very rude. Customer service could improve all the way around for the spa and poolside attendants. I will not be back.
I used to love this spa and I still “like” it but the little details that make a high end experience have slowly been chipped away. From pockets in robes to the fresh fruit waters to the little short bread cookies have all been removed. No longer do they have the high end teas or little sugar cubes at the tea and coffee area. The fresh fruit they put out was bruised and uneatable. The front staff is inexperienced and unfriendly. Just not what it used to be.While the new outside pools are lovely and the treatments are not bad by any stretch- I will still go, I just miss the experience I enjoyed before all the adjustments.
Gio gave me a Trellis Swedish Massage with medium-firm pressure. He applied the perfect amount of pressure and found all the points that needed special attention. I especially did not want the foot massage and neck massage to end.I had a late appointment so I didn’t experience the other amenities but everywhere was packed: pool, jacuzzi, waiting room. The changing room attendants were very attentive. It was a pleasant experience.
Do not go here they have no Clue on Customer service! I had an emergency and unable to make my appointment that we never even got an email or confirmation on. They didnt even confirm my info that my friend booked for me!They want to charge FULL price for services not rendered. I would have paid half price since the spot was taken, but the manager Lisa has no clue how to run a business or customer service. She wants to argue with the customer and not be understanding.Even though I didnt make to this appointment I would have eventually come in and continued to come allowing the spa to make more money off of me then just one visit. Lisa told me we can just cut our losses and she would remove me from their spa services in the future. WOW!! If Houstonian keeps her around, they will lose allot of business.you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar
All the bad reviews are accurate - horrible customer service. They charged me for a facial and massage for my daughter, but when she got to the salon she was told she wouldn’t be getting a facial because the woman that does facials had left - they said they had been trying to reach us all morning - We didn’t have any calls or messages from the salon. The supervisor and manager were very disrespectful and refused to take responsibility or remedy the situation- very disappointing. We will definitely never book an appointment here again.
Beautiful newly remodeled spa with great amenities. Massages and facials are fantastic. It’s pricy and great for a special occasion. make sure to maximize the day by spending extra time there before and after your treatments to make it worth it otherwise you can probably go to other nice spas for similar treatments at a lower price. Sad they didn’t have a sauna room, just steam. Pools are all nice. Relaxation area and different rooms are pretty and spacious.
Wanted to celebrate my 40th at one if my favorite spas. I’ve been here numerous times and had the WORST experience. We were 3 minutes late, so our massages got cut short…. Understandable. None of this was communicated. We were rushed through the entire process and we talked down on and treated like juvenile teenagers. We are all respected professional career woman, and I have never been so disappointed with Trellis. Amanda and the other manager are young woman that clearly don’t know anything about customer service. My massage was rushed and was NOT relaxing. Extremely disappointed and I will never return to this facility again. Do you self a favor and go to Fiori or post oak spa. They actually care about the customers and their service. The sad part is you are automatically charged 20% gratuity, even if your therapist did not meet your expectations. Biggest waste of $290!
This spa is absolutely astounding! Great amenities like a warm pool, hot tub, sauna, fluffy robes and spa shoes. The lady women’s locker room is so freaking nice with private showers and access to the pool and sauna. The food we ordered for lunch was excellent and they have flavored waters, coffee and mini cookies for free. I went with a group of four and everyone came out of their massages and facials at the same time. Staff was extraordinarily welcoming, professional and attentive. I had Cathy for massage which was like a soul healing experience and Randee for my facial which had me looking a few years younger. ;) The best part is, you do not need to be a member of the Houstonian to come here! They also offer gift certificates which is an excellent gift idea! This place is hospitality at its best, available to anyone who wants a day to be pampered and relax.
I tried to book a treatment and was unable to do so as I was told they do not accept any reservations for Canadians. Ive been to high-end spas and resorts worldwide and have had no issues booking and paying for treatments with widely-recognized global credit cards, the fact that they refuse to book anyone without a US credit card is absolutely shocking considering they are in a hotel. We had looked forward to a lovely spa day here as a family but will have to take our business elsewhere due to ridiculous policies like this.
I have a newborn baby, just went back to work full time, and have been super stressed. So I booked an appointment at Trellis (a few weeks in advance) and was planning on spending the day there to relax. I took the day off and arranged for childcare and everything. I packed my bag, including my breast pump, swim suit, etc. When I arrived, they told me that there was some confusion, and that I needed to drive to their other location (Solaya), which doesn’t have any amenities. They were unable to accommodate me. I specifically remember booking my appointment at Trellis, so I’m not sure what happened.I drove to their other location, got a sub-par massage, paid 300 dollars, and went home.Needless to say, I was pretty bummed out. At least I got a free glass of Prosecco. :-/
I had a very similar experience to another reviewer, so I should share. I just had a baby three months ago and just returned to work. Decided to treat myself to a spa day. Packed a swim suit, breast pump, etc. On arrival, I was told that I was booked at the sister property Solaya and that they could not switch my reservation. I asked if I could have my services done at Solaya but come back to Trellis and use the amenities there and was told that I needed to book another $120 service in order to do so as an “exception” to the rule. Overall, very confusing and misleading language on the website when booking. No understanding or good customer service when presented with this issue. I’m so disappointed! I specifically arranged childcare to enjoy the full day, and I came home after two abrupt appointments. Can’t recommend.
Had a great day. Started at 9AM before the crowds arrived and left at 1PM. Rushed in right at 9AM, so did not have the normal time to transition to robe and slippers but they got me to my facial with Merrill straight away. I had the gentlemans facial and peel. The room was large and neat, Merrill got me a robe and slippers while I got into the lounger shaped bed. She was quiet so I could drift off into my own thoughts and my face felt amazing under warm soft thumb massages. It was a sensory experience of smells along with face, shoulder, arm and hand massage. My 50 minutes was excellent and we discussed all that would happen beforehand and it played out perfectly. I stayed to enjoy the pool, hot tub, steam room, relaxing pool and outdoor deck. I found a chair and asked for a mimosa, relaxed a bit in the secluded hot tub then dried off and died in a shaded lounge chair outside wrapped in the softest of robes. They thought I died, but I just felt like Id gone to care-free heaven. I did not pick up my phone or look for the time so that I could just leave it all behind. There were beautiful women around the pool but I was so relaxed knowing everyone was else was relaxed and enjoying their moments too that I dozed off. The attendants made sure that my needs would be taken care of and my water was always filled. I should have eaten some food but I just kept napping in my snuggly robe. I could see myself making Trellis an annual event or friend experience where privacy, relaxation, and comfort are ideal. It is worth the money as long as you make sure not to look at your phone or bring your problems with you. Have a day at the spa and change your life for the day.
The facilities are lovely and staff are friendly, however the place was so busy and crowded. I’ve never felt so rushed at a day spa. It’s usually a time to slow down, relax and enjoy. Instead you are rushed into a room, you need to sign waivers and once everything is ready to go 10 minutes of your massage time has already passed. At the end you are given a minute to quickly get changed and get out, leaving you with only 40 minutes of a massage. My masseuse had good technique/pressure but he would only massage for a minute or so and then the massage was interrupted by him opening a drawer, taking out a towel, lowering the bed, raising the bed, shuffling around in a cupboard, getting a heat pack or more oil etc…..before massaging the next area. It was really frustrating and definitely not relaxing.
I was using a walker and called the day before and morning of to confirm that I could use the handicap lift for their pools. Both times I was assured it was available. When I got there the lift was not set up and no one could get it to work. They said they had not ever used it before. I left a message with the assistant director, Lisa Gordon, and she did not call me back.
The body scrub and service provider were excellent!!!Sadly, they have discontinued the cookies provided in the lobby. The prices have gone way up!The locker room attendants were kind of rude to us when we asked for fresh robes after our shower.
First time here, facility is great and beautiful loved all the amenities. Service could be better. Long wait to check in and out and the guy who works the front desk on Sunday feb 13 wasn’t helpful and did not give me a tour but gave people after me one which was rude and came off snooty. The women working in the locker rooms are fabulous. Overall expected better service for what is suppose to be the one of the best day spas in Houston.
I came here a couple years back for a couples massage. As you walk in the place looks nice, not like a sort of peaceful spa nice, nice as more of a busy fancy nice. They took me in and gave me a robe, very comfortable!! Everything was looking nice. When I went in the room for the actual massage I was disappointed!! It was the WORST massage I’ve ever received!! And I’ve had plenty more then plenty!! I might give a try one more time since again this experience was a couple of years back. Perhaps the massage will be better. It is not super expensive but not the cheapest either so don’t want to be disappointed again!!
My esthetician, Anna, is THE BEST! Since the renovation, the experience is not as great. It feels so uptight and not very customer-centric… you’re constantly reminded that this is a business first. But, back to my AMAZING esthetician, Anna, if she leaves, I’ll go wherever she goes!
Good amenities. Terrible facial. Better at low cost locations. Literally did nothing to my face other than clean and mask. No pressure. No massage. I feel sick I wasted all that money.
For the prices you pay I’m not impressed. $20 for cold stale pita/bread and hummus. Oh I did get 5 pieces of cucumber to go with the hummus and some olives, woohoo. The coffee in upstairs waiting area was lukewarm at best. Disappointed in overall experience. All that money spent on outdoor pool and it’s tiny and on the other side of the fence is the parking lot. At least this time there weren’t large construction vehicles in parking lot.
I just got married this past weekend and needed to finally relax and unwind from months of worry. My incredible mother and aunts worked tirelessly to make my dream wedding come true! They give me the best, and all I want to do is give them the best! I googled “best spa in Houston, and Trellis popped up” I made a spa reservation for 2 hours and wanted to make it count! I had Lisa as my masseuse. I originally had hot stone therapy for 100 min. Which helped me relax from the entire whirlwind of wedding planning! I wanted to get pictures to keep the memory of this and Lisa went above and beyond, beautifully arranging the blankets and stones for my picture perfect relaxation moment. I may have only gotten a 100 min massage but those pictures will last a lifetime. Also with mom and my aunts, we had our feet in the jacuzzi and just were able to relax and unwind. The staff who were always available tidying up the facility to be spotless were also so friendly!!! They took group pictures for us! I needed to unwind, and all the staff and facility at Trellis did just that for us!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m not your average spa goer because that sort of thing typically stresses me out. However, my hubby got me a gift certificate to use for our anniversary, and spring break seemed like a great time to indulge myself. The amenities are amazing. Around every corner is another path to tranquility and relaxation - a rain shower, quiet room, jacuzzi, and floating pool . However, the highlight of my visit was my facial with Richard.I cannot speak for the other service providers there, but Richard was one of the most welcoming and warm humans that I have had the pleasure of coming into contact with during some sort of beauty/skin service. Not only does my skin feel amazing, but I left with my soul feeling better, too. I cannot recommend having a facial done by him enough, and I will definitely be back!
This was definitely a splendid experience to say the least. The entire facility breathtaking, however, I give 4 stars because the menu can be improved with not only salads but sandwiches of sort and perhaps food and not just the limited appetizers. I will return and hopefully the food list will have expanded beyond salads.
Barton is wonderful. He was very insightful, gave solid recommendations, and my skin is glowing. Couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait to visit him again. Highly recommend.
Came fromOut of town to a 30 year friends gathering, and she booked us a package for facials, massages n.lunch. The massage from.blanca was amazing I would recommend her, n the facial was also great. I.felt like million bucks. Loved the spas also.but the lunch.was horrible.i do not recommend it. Possibly.new selection added to menu ,Do not get the chicken salad friend found its fat n bone in it .. to conclude massage , facialAmazing
Ive been going to the Trellis Spa Salon for over a year. Usually pretty good. I hear they are opening another location which will have better light for a better color experience. My stylist tried a new toner that made my hair look silver, so I went back and they too care of it. Its hard to see in this picture but we added color, still needed another correction though. Overall its a good place to go.
Amazing experience!! Got to celebrate a birthday with a spa lunch, massages, and pool time. Ellyse at Trellis gave an amazing pre-natal massage and I highly recommend requesting her for any service she provides. Very good energy!!
Love this spa and have been coming here for 12 years. Great customer service and job well done. My favs are the quality pedis and manis they give with long lasting result, polish stays in place for days on hands and weeks on feet. The facials are great with knowledgeable estheticians as well! Keep doing a wonderful job Trellis!
We had a couples massage and it was fantastic, worth every penny.
Mediocre experience and very pricey! It’s busy, not you can’t find a parking space busy, but busy.CHECK-IN: When you arrive you stand in line- at the spa as they have gift certificate purchasers and people checking in - in the same line. You should fix that.LOCKER ROOMS: The ladies who attend to the locker room are great and the space is nice.LUNCH: The spa requested we pre-order our meal and so we did. When we called in the order we were given an “updated” menu, which lacks all creativity and very limited in selections (2 breakfast items, a few appetizers and 3 or so salads) and plenty of wine and champagne. I arrived for our 2 pm preordered lunch (around 1:45 pm, my sister joined me at 2 pm)…. 10 or more minutes in we asked about our pre-ordered appetizer… it finally arrived. We asked for additional pita bread (of course happy to pay) and was told that wasn’t an option. After asking again (2:20ish) as there was still a mound of hummus (and so much time had transpired waiting for our pre-ordered lunch) we were provided wafer crackers, like the ones from communion.2:30, still no salad, however the table that sat after us (party of 6) quickly received their meals. 2:40ish we’re told it will be another 10-15 minutes before our salads would be presented. So we’re talking nearly an hour before we will receive our pre-ordered meal. It is important to note that we arrived at the spa at 10 am for a full day of relaxation. There is only water, tea and a bowl of oranges…. no other snacks available. At 1:47 pm we asked for our check and our food still had not arrived. We were told by server, but they are making your meals now. Seriously? This spa is too expensive to offer an okay experience. There are so many great spa locations in Houston. I would not recommend this one.SERVICES: My massage by Valeri was amazing! The body treatment was not. The attendant picked me up after my start time. It took about 6-8 minutes to get everything set up but my treatment ended at 1:50. So I did not receive the full 50 minute, nearly $200 treatment. The experience felt rushed- and he (the attendant) even said, oh I’m using this product instead of the sea salt because of the time. I should have said something but I didn’t want to be “that” person.
During the time the Trellis spa was closed for renovations my husband purchased me a giftcard for a 50 minute massage from the front desk of the Houstonian hotel and was told he could use it at Trellis when it opened or at Solaya spa. Fast forwarded a couple years later we wanted to celebrate our anniversary and use the giftcard for my services we were told it would cost more then what the giftcard covered because services at Solaya were cheaper. The giftcard doesn’t have an amount on it, It’s for a service, so we asked to speak to a manager who was a woman (can’t remember her name) but she was very rude and said my husband couldn’t have purchased it there and she would not accommodate the giftcard without us paying more. We were planning to stay at the hotel and use the spa but decided not to because this manager was very rude. If the giftcard stated a dollar amount instead of a service that’s totally understandable but it did not, you guys lost a customer for the spa and hotel because this manager chose not to be accommodating.
Very disappointed in the customer service I received @ Solaris Spa Hair Salon. This was my first time making an appointment with the salon on March 19 for April 1 as time went on I totally forgot about the appointment. They did not send me an email or text to remind me of the appointment. I see a charge on my card for $170 for a service I never received....so I called and ask to speak to the manager & explained my situation. I asked can you guys give me a 1 time courtesy refund I’m a new client here & I totally forgot about the appointment. I did not receive a courtesy call or text to remind me of the appointment before hand. I explained to the manager Megan most places send out a reminder or May charge you a no show fee of $25 to $50 maybe but to charge my account $170 for a service I never received...so not fair. She stated that is their policy and there was no understanding in the matter. With everything that is going on in our world today I would have thought there would be a little more compassion...sooooo disappointing 😞
They are always amazing, I love going here and using the amenities after my service… The spa is by far one of the best in houston.
The massage wasnt worth it for the cost. It was spurts of a massage between going back and forth getting oil. There was no flow to it. It just felt awkward. I also didnt like that there was an automatic tip amount for the massage. I got the 100 minute massage and it was so expensive for a bad massage.
Wouldn’t offer a credit after explaining the situation on why I didn’t show up to the appointment. Needs better customer service at the front by manager as well. If I say I didn’t receive an email or text and that I was waiting for at least a call to confirm, like how they did a year ago when I booked with them, they shouldn’t call me a liar. I already know how these places work with no shows so why would I risk losing my money.
The amenities are amazing. The wet spa area (co-ed relaxation pool, and sectioned off whirlpool, rain shower and steam room) is amazing. The upstairs lounge/patio is also wonderful. I spend more time relaxing than I do getting treatments. Their facials are incredible. Massages are typically good as well. I love coming here to relax, read and get great treatments all day.
Clearly this establishment discriminates against the elderly. My 76 year old mother.. a long time customer was charged for services she did not receive because she went to the alternate location provided while Trellis was under construction. The manager Lisa was completely inflexible and actually screamed at my mother over the phone telling her she should have checked her email!! My mother disputed the charges with her credit card and has been told by Trellis that she can not return. What a joke .. to the Post Oak Hotel we go!!!
I finally used a gift certificate I received 3 years ago and brought my mom for her birthday! Hands down the best day ever! Everyone was extremely friendly and willing to help answer all of our questions. We had the oxygen body treatment which was out of this world! I highly recommend Trellis Spa and we will be returning as regularly as possible.
Life changing! This was a beautiful and pristine spa. Everyone was so gracious and there to make sure my experience was magical. Thank you to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting.
The menu for such a lovely place could be so much better~ seafood salad for $24 I would pay more for a better salad - little chop lettuce.I prefer the old menu. Please stop trying to “hustle” for add on during facials. Please make sure everyone you look at your check out receipt at all the “suggestions” added you are aware of- All my tips will now be for those woman working in the locker rooms that are so kind asking are you ok/do you need anything. Please do better Trellis - for such a lovely place
For the money; you can go elsewhere and have a better experience. I did four spa days there in December 2019 to entertain clients so I speak from experience.Their technicians are top-notch and friendly. The front-end staff that takes reservations is just absolutely the worst with errors and mishandling of information. On average to book a group of 4 people for Massages and Facials takes 45 minutes. (Calling the group coordinator is an even bigger joke because multiple voicemails are never returned.) The manager for front-end operations must not believe in training. Its NOT relaxing to arrive 20 minutes before your treatment and spend 15 minutes at the front desk waiting to check in. Its NOT relaxing to wait 15 minutes at the end of the day to check out. Its NOT relaxing to be told that these blankets are reserved. The facility is dated with a small hot tub for pre-service that is not sized for the number of people they are pushing through the facility each day. As well, the sauna door does not close completely; go ahead and try getting a steam in a leaky sauna sometime. And the main spa waiting area upstairs is frequently beyond capacity. Its NOT relaxing to walk upstairs to lounge/waiting area and have NO seats available. Standing around like cattle is NOT a high-end relaxing experience. The food menu has approx six choices and all are mediocre. The few wine choices are just very blah. This year we also hosted client spa days at three other Houston spa locations; ALL had better service and overall experiences than Trellis. Spend your spa money at The Post Oak Hotel, Fiori or even the Marriott Waterway. For the money; Trellis simply does not live up to expectations.
Atmosphere: Perfectly. Relaxing. Huge, beautiful, has a Greek feel to it. Does not feel like you are in the city at all.Service: All my services have been stellar here. The staff working at the spa are all very friendly. Not to mention, they are everywhere. If you need anything, you are sure to find someone. My only complaint at Trellis has been with the front desk. My first time to visit Trellis, I was not told of all the complimentary amenities to enjoy when booking my appointment. Also, the front desk staff forgot to mention I needed to get there early. I lost 10 minutes on my massage. However, after complaining the manager gave me 15% back. My second time to the spa, my skin care specialist did not right down the cream she recommended for me to purchase. After a lot of googling, I think I have figured it out. I will purchase it else where.Prices: Trellis is definitely a high-end price spa, but there is no other spa like it in the Houston area. Its huge, lots of amenities, you can EASILY spend the entire day relaxing here. I know I do. From the lounge, patio, tranquility room, spa services (facial, massage, mani/pedi, etc), steam room, hot tub, whirl pool, fancy showers). They have wonderful alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages they offer in every part of the facility. They provide plush robes and slippers as well.Parking: Easy, free garage parking.
Such a great experience! Got to go thanks to a voucher and it was such a treat. I felt relaxed just walking in. Lovely aroma, music, kind and friendly staff. Amazing place. The massage was PERFECT! I could have added another hour. Highly recommend. Must try their chocolate cake!
I went with a friend and had a spa package that included lunch, facial, and manicure, and added on a pedicure from a door prize gift certificate I had. The services themselves (mani, pedi, facial) were fantastic. The lunch was terrible. The food is served outside, and it was chilly but we were told to find a spot near a heater. All the spots had dirty trays, but we found somewhere and someone eventually came and cleared it. My friends salmon was okay, and my blackened shrimp was too spicy and the dressing for the salad was awful. I asked for more hot water for my tea, which I never received. I did ask at one point if there was a different dressing that may have made my meal edible, a long wait later I found out no. By that time we were concerned about the time for our treatments (no clock, and the robes didnt have pockets for phone). We asked our server for the time, but he didnt know he would check, but never did. We also asked for the cake my friend had pre-ordered. After waiting a while, we saw another patron with a phone, and asked her the time. We found that we needed to head to our appointments, when our cake showed up. We were told it could be boxed for later, which we did, but still had awful service. When I commented on this during check-out, the cashier told us which meal was best. For the amount of money the service costs, ALL meals should be delightful and tasty, not just one that the cashier recommends. There were other issues with the check-out that I wont go into. In summary: wonderful treatments, and I recommend them for facial, mani, pedi, but I recommend looking elsewhere if you want a full, relaxing spa day.
Purchased a large package as a Mothers Day gift. My wife went during the weekends and enjoyed her experience BUT there were people there who do not have proper spa etiquette.I believe it is the staffs responsibility to remind people to keep their phone ringers down as well as their conversations. Other grownups should be able to enjoy their amenities poolside without being privy to the immature conversations of others.I think if you advertise yourself as a spa then you should have the ambiance to match. Otherwise it is just an overpriced salon.
Updates made are nice, the photos look more impressive than the actual place. Massage was good. The price is good for the money but there are better out there.
Reason for the 3 stars was due to a few things I missed before the remodeling. No blanket being offered and couches are different in tranquility roomNo cookiesMenu was different and didn’t really like the options availableLadies in the women’s dressing room were unhelpful.
The spa facility and atmosphere is really nice and the massage table is really comfortable but a far as the massage itself it was just okay. I have a discursive place that l go to fit massages. This would be a nice place for a girls day.
Excellent service! CBD MASSAGE was tops. The weather was dreadful but the Trellis Spa set perfect mood for escape and relaxation
I am very disappointed with my experience with trellis spa. They charged hundreds of unauthorized charges on my card and the customer service was just terrible, interrupting me, raising their voice, and overall just being very rude. Please choose somewhere else.
Always get my hair cut here with Theresa, so good and so fast, and a good talker, too. Building is gorgeous, although they will move to River Oaks District for six months beginning in January for construction, so Im sure it will be even better after. Staff is great as well, not to mention you get to drive through the beautiful Houstonian grounds.
So relaxing, the message was amazing (Patrick). Facial was refreshing and had me glowing (Merril). Will be making reservations again very soon!
Yes the services are very pricey, but you get what you pay for. Arrive hours before your appointment to enjoy the numerous amenities they have to offer: fall asleep by the fire in the tranquility room, relax in the hot tub, enjoy fruit/scones/beverages, take a dip in the pool, feel cozy in their robes and warm neck wraps, etc. I feel pampered and wonderful at Trellis.
Where to begin? In November of 2019, I purchased a gift card for my mother in law to the Trellis. This gift card was for $560, which would have covered the Citrus Package which includes a meal, and an added 20% gratuity. This is where the problem began. The person I spoke to on the phone failed to mention that A) there is an 18% gratuity included in the price of the package, and B) the spa would be shut down for most of the year in 2020.I feel that when one is purchasing a Christmas gift for a family member, it implies that the gift will be used after Christmas. Since the packages have to be booked two weeks in advance, this gave my MIL a window of two weeks to use her gift certificate before it became useless for nine months. When I discovered this, I contacted the spa. I attempted to do so via phone, but their system was down.So I emailed.I got a call back from the spa director Renee this morning.Renee was insulting, and apathetic. After your wild email yesterday... was how the call began.Ive only been in customer service management for ten years, so I could be wrong, but thats not the right way to talk to a customer that was deceived by omission. The remodel is campus wide, and all over the website. No madam, it isnt. It is NOW listed on the Trellis website, it was not in November. Further, The Houstonian and its affiliate sites say nothing about a campus wide remodel. Were super excited about the remodelThats nice. What does that have to do with the price of beef?I can refund you, or she can wait until OctoberSo, either she doesnt get to use her Christmas gift, or she doesnt get to use it until its almost time to get her another one. Awesome. You can always just go to Post Oak or FioriSo what Im hearing is that you dont want my business?Youre the first person that has complained about thisAgain, what does that have to do with the price of beef? I bought something that was to be used in 2020. I was not told it couldnt be used until the end of the year. I should have been told. PERIOD.And since each entity at The Houstonian is under separate management, theres exactly nothing that can be done.I expect so much more from an establishment of this calibre. This is highly disappointing. I have never experienced anything like this at any other top rated hotel and spa, and I have visited more than my fair share. How embarrassing. I will certainly be taking Renees advice, and both my mother in laws Christmas gift as well as my good friends birthday gift will be coming from The Post Oak next time. I have only been there once, but they seemed to care that I came back, The Trellis and The Houstonian clearly dont.
Luxurious with an attentive staff which made for a totally relaxing experience. I went in for a facial and spent almost 4 hours hanging out and relaxing. Felt like a retreat inside the city. I got an oxygen facial which left my skin super smooth and glowing. I cant imagine going anywhere else for spa treatments.
Heaven on Earth! My wife and I love this place! We got a couple Tired Leg Pedicures from Elizabeth and Camala and I wish I could give this place 7 stars. We will be back soon!
This place is awesome! Super elegant with great service. My experience with having a facial was one of the best I’ve ever had.
The spa is clean and refreshing the cantaloupe juice is my fav. I was very relaxed and Miss Randy did an amazing job on my oxygen facial. They have everything u need to take a shower from deodorant, lotion, razors, blow dryers ect.. LOVE this place! Also ate at the new Tribute in the Houstonian newly renovated after hurricane Harvey , nice staff and great food the brisket hash was AWESOME!
My wife lost her Mother a week ago, so I decided to do something nice for her by booking her a day at the spa. Two hours before our scheduled appointment, Trellis Spa called us to reschedule. Their policy states that they require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule or you have to pay in full. For our spa package that would have cost us $865. Since they cancelled on us, due to utility malfunctions, two hours prior to our scheduled appointment, we asked for a discount on our next visit. In fact, I asked politely three times and was denied. Apparently, Trellis Spa is not in a position to provide customers a discount for being inconvenienced. We will NEVER use Trellis Spa or visit the Houstonian again.
I can’t say enough good things about this spa. From when you walk in the door, to services and the lounge areas and locker rooms. The pedicure area overlooks a lovely green space and the upstairs space is very cozy. Included in your services is a float pool and hot tub. Their locker rooms have amazing showers with luxurious products. For any spa day, this is a perfect spot.
Without ever setting foot in the door I had a terrible experience with this spa. I received a gift certificate as a Christmas present and scheduled a massage for a weekday; however, due to circumstances beyond my control my childcare fell through the morning of, and I was unable to arrange for backup care. I called the Spa to explain the situation and request a reschedule, only to be informed that while they would happily reschedule me they would still charge me 100% of the massage price as a cancellation fee. What??? I guess in their perfect world childcare is never a problem? For the rest of us plebeians it can, however, be a real and persistent challenge. Gift certificate wasted. One star for being completely unwilling to make any attempt to understand or compromise their precious policy. Didnt know they were that hard up for $$.
My skin has never looked better! Richard was fantastic, his product/treatment recommendations were spot on for my skin and made a huge difference.
Frequented the Trellis pre pandemic and it was excellent! Went for the first time post pandemic / post construction and it’s amazing! The outdoor pools and ambience is amazing! Barton is wonderful, a week later and I’m still glowing post hydra facial!
Ive been here at least 6 times but my experience today was NOT pleasant. The treatments (facial and body) were fine-hence the 2 stars over 1. However, I felt extremely rushed by the lady who did my body treatment and I was not late for my appointment, actually 15 minutes early. I had barely gotten to get in the shower to wash off the mask she had applied and she kept knocking at the door asking if i was done,it hadnt even been 5 minutes.). While I was in the shower, she starts talking to me (which obviously I cant hear bc im in thr shower!---resulting in me having to turn the water off to hear her tell me about towels which were obvious and to be face down on the spa bed) It was quite ridiculous. The facial was fine but i accidentally left my keys in the room and realized it less than 2 minutes after walking downstairs, so i go back up to knock on the door and see if i can recover my locker key and 5 or 6 women who work there ambush me like Im about to perform a break in. I couldnt bring myself to tip after such a poor experience and I doubt Ill ever go back.
Love this place. Any day is a great day for relaxing at the Houstonian Trellis spa
The Trellis experience was like being taken away to paradise all day! I experienced the quiet room, had a massage, ate lunch, got in the jacuzzi and pool.
I wish I could give a 2.5, but bc of our masseuses Ill round up. Skip to the bottom for the summary. So the good things are:-The grounds are beautiful (like a hidden garden in the city)-The hot stone massages were excellent (did a couples massage)-They provide robes and sandals for you to relax and enjoy the atmosphere-The butter cookies were goodAnd thats where it stops for us. The restaurant, The Olivette, was closed for remodeling, so I cant judge that. However, it wouldve been nice for a heads up bc we were hungry thanks to saving our appetites for their over advertised restaurant.More points of contention:-The advertised shower & jacuzzi is only for a specific spa package (to the tune of nearly $600)-Even if we did get that package to see where we wouldve showered & sat in a jacuzzi together was tiny & disappointing-There is no co-ed place to sit in a hot tube or sauna as a couple-Ive been to Spa Trellis before w/ family, & I had cantaloupe juice for the 1st time... this time no cantaloupe juice, in fact none of their special juices were served-We were told no electronic devices were allowed upstairs...half the ppl had their phones out, and one person even took a phone call INSIDE 😒-Because it was so crowded there were no seats for awhile... and none of the staff tried to remedy that by, oh you know, bringing out extra chairs!***So in summation, unless youre staying at the hotel Spa Trellis isnt a great place to go as a couple.(Funny bc my husband noted that there werent many men there... I see why) Second, yes it was Mothers Day weekend and the place was super crowed....but in our opinion those are the times when a business in the service industry should step up the most. I probably wont go back, nor recommend to ANY couples. 😞😧
Can’t go wrong with this place. One of the best spas the city. Everyone is always so attentive. I think the best part is that you can spend many hours here really relaxing. Always a treat to visit
Today’s facial was amazing! Thank you Richard I hope to come back soon. That was the best 1 hour facial I have ever had. And thank you for the new show suggestion the Politician because I love it now.
I booked a service through their online booking. The date was incorrect. When I showed up on the correct date I was told I missed my appointment and was charged 100% of the service fees (over $200). I received no call. nor notification of the missed appointment. The staff did nothing to attempt to correct the error and were apathetic to the situation.
Our entire staff enjoyed a spa day last year! We cant wait for our next spa day outing as a staff! We love the Houstonian Trellis Spa staff as they always care for us with the utmost care . See you soon!
From entering the building until leaving, the staff were polite, organized, and professional. The facilities were clean. Linda was my nail technician and did a wonderful job!
Went there today and had the perfectly polished package. Amazing experience and treated like a queen the entire time. Trellis is very relaxing with terrific amenities. Definitely would recommend this spa!
Its not just a gym. Really enjoyed the time there with my friends. Had a great workout and then just enjoyed the time spent there.
Amazing experience. Patrick gave me the most excellent massage. The food was wonderful, all the service was superb and the entire spa was emaculate. 6 stars.
I had a wonderful experience! Abby was my nail tech and she was amazing. This place is peaceful and very professional. I will be back!! I didnt want to leave 😁
Horrible customer service! They do not care what type of experience you have. Sean (the manager) stated it is the customers responsibility to make sure the environment is conducive to a relaxing experience not the spas responsibility.I will not be back...TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!I wish I could rate negative stars but the least available is 1 star...they did not deserve even 1 star.SHAMEFUL!
Great amenities but I think their location above Escalantes in Highland Village provided better massages.
Loving the updates to the spa. The outdoor soaking pools are nice. Some shades seating. Service with drinks and snacks is very quick.
Amazing as always! Had a bit of a hiccup on my appt. but Onyx made everything good. Love what theyve done with the remodel and cant wait to be back again soon.
The way this people try to charge me 380$ per guest for no show to the appointment, me and my girl tested positive for COVID and couldnt make it, now the say sorry but they had to charge , that is a robbery and shouldnt not pay for a service that was not given, also the say they would remind you , and they never did..!! Terrible service, i am calling the bank anyways and the place is overprice, bad service !!
This is a wonderfully relaxing spot for your nails. The technicians are so professional!
Oxygen Perfection treatment was wonderful! The spa has a resort vibe. Great outdoor water area. Perfect for a spa day.
Wonderful experienc. Nice staff. Professional beautiful place. First time have a massage and facial. I recommend Angela H...does a great job. Will definitely be back
One of the best spas in Houston. You get to relax, the service is top notch and you feel spoiled since you walk in.
The best experience for a spa. The facility was Clean , the staff are friendly and inviting . Lana did an awesome job on my pedicure. M
Wonderful experience. Arrived at 9:00am for a massage, then spent the morning drifting between lounging areas. Finished with a great salmon salad.
Such a relaxing experience!! Sabrina did my facial and it was perfect.
Beware of non-refundable 24hr policy. They had NOT warned me.I had a migraine the day of my appointment and could not call till later. No contingency. $200 in the drain.
Nice amenities and things like that. But a place of this magnitude. I would want more privacy. You have men and women walking around in robes all day long
Pricey but oh so worth it. I was treated so well and felt relaxed and like a queen!
Top notch spa, really enjoyed my massage and some relaxation time.Very clean and well maintained facility with very friendly staff that really focused on guest experience.
I need to spend more time here. Super relaxing. Ive always had an excellent experience. Get a massage. Have your nails done. Lounge. Its great.
This is the quintessential luxury hotel spa. The services and facilities here are incredible—perfect spot for couples or girlfriend groups.
Great place for couples massage
The staff was friendly and the spa services were great. I had lunch with friends and the salads were delicious. I will return soon
The best spa in Houston. Better than Post Oak Spa 🧖♀️ for sure.
Highly recommended, I love their customer service specially.Julissa took care of me I was very pleased with her customer service !!
I always look forward to come back to Trellis. The ambience is amazing, and all providers perform excellent services. It is the best Spa in greater Houston
Great spa. Come at least an hour early to enjoy the facilities. Order the cheese plate and a bellini on the upstairs deck. Love the robes.
Love the new amenities! Amanda is an amazing coordinator and we cant wait to work with her again.
Excellent Service.. Great place to get massages and oxygen facials.. Randy did my wife facial and Charlotte did mine . Always happy with the results
Dominique & Courtney or amazing!! Truly enjoyed a day of relaxation! From pedi to lunch and massage. Thanks beautiful sis!
Always a wonderful spa day with first class treatments, facilities and services. I’ll always be back!
Wonderful! Friendly, informative staff. Exceptionally clean. Very experienced professionals. You leave feeling reinvigorated and well-pampered!
Outstanding Spa. Excellent service!! Awesome staff!! This is my favorite place to relax.
Sweet 16 for daughter and friends. Amenities galore and top level service around every corner. Get a massage and mani/pedi then sip some wine at the back saltwater pools. Chill a while
I had the Diamond Facial with Sabrina. She did an amazing job and is delightful!
Beautiful, lots of staff to support so we dont feel lost, lots of pools, beautiful landscaping.,. A true getaway in the middle of the city.
Loved the sauna & hot tubs (you get access all day with a massage)
Always amazing! Food was fabulous! Facilities are outstanding! Services were good, not great but good.
The best spa experience in Houston. I have been coming back for years.
I had a Brazilian and had an allergic reaction to the products that were used. It has been miserable. In addition there was a substantial amount of hair that was not removed. I left a comment on their website but no reply.
LOVED IT! Liz did a great job with my facial.
Fantastic place to spend the day for a treat or special occasion. Never a bad experience!
Always a great relaxing time here. They still have the spa cookies, just have to ask for them 🙂
The best spa experience that Ive ever experienced. Massage, mani/pedi, lunch were all top shelf.
We absolutely loved our spa day. Amy went out of her way to make us feel special.
Didnt get the cooperation I was expecting from a staff member pertaining to an incident in the parking lot.
Absolute favorite spa! Best massages and a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back!
