This speakeasy replaced my stomping grounds from my twenties, called the artful dodger. The decor is amazing and only second to the amazing drinks the bartender fixed for us. Getting drinks is just like getting drinks with a show as you watch the skilled bartender prepare your order.

Great place to stop in for a break from reality. Amazing vibe and atmosphere. The music is at the right volume and style, with an eclectic blend of genres.And our barkeep made amazing drinks!The hot Toddy was exactly the drink to make you forget about the cold!!Also equally flavorful was the great pear of legs. Nice smooth flavorThen my drink was the East meets west it had a salted rim and some tajin so a complex flavor profile that changes with each sip.Finally Andres made an old fashion that had amazing punch to all the flavors !!!! Definitely his forte.Listen if this places isn’t packed out stop in and escape reality

We hosted a great birthday party at Repeal 18. Excellent bartenders, great food, plenty of seating. A magical night was nearly ruined by the aggressive, rude security people who tried to throw someone out for having his hat on backwards. We paid cash, gave tips, and there was no crazy behavior. The security guys took the joy away. Never again.

We rented out the back room for my wifes 50th Birthday. The team was great and took excellent care of us. We felt it was priced well, and the room was the perfect size for our group.The owner Michael went out of his way to ensure we were happy, and walked me through the final bill to ensure I undertood it all.Highly recommended for a fun night out, and great atmosphere.

I held a surprise engagement party for my fiancée and it was truly spectacular. The owner Mike, and bar manager Olivia were very responsive and helpful during the planning and set up, providing me with all details on food & bev options to fit within my budget.We rented out the back room and had 50 people attend (could have easily held up to 100). They offered to open the restaurant early to allow some of her friend to come in and decorate. The venue was amazing and a picture perfect space, my fiancée joked and asked if we were in Italy.After our time was up we took the party to the front of the bar where there was live music and perfect craft cocktails to enjoy the rest of the evening.I can’t thank enough the repeal team for all of their help planning and putting everything together!!

What a wonderful place and owner! Recently had a party in the private room which is so spacious and beautiful. The drinks and cocktails were top notch; appetizers were delicious. Best place in Huntington for a great night out!!

Fun cocktail bar with some very cool and interesting drinks. We went on Thanksgiving Eve before the crowd and had a great time, the bartenders were great.

This is an amazing place. There is no cover charge. The live bands are amazing. Draft beer and wonderful cider. Attentive service. Amazing decor.

Amazing service!!!! From start to finish Michael was amazing planning my event. Aaron is hands down the best bartender for private parties!! Olivia kept us on track. It was the perfect place for my 50th birthday celebration!

Such a fun cocktail bar. Went on a Friday and enjoyed each second. The band was great and the drinks were superb. Shout out to the bartender, Aaron - he is a master of his craft. Had so many fun drinks, including “Giggle Juice” that came with an edible bubble mist. Highly recommend!

Ordered a drink and noticed the glass was chipped. Politely brought it up to the bartender (place was nearly empty), got a weird look, and they took it away just to dump the drink into a different glass and hand it back to me. Bartending 101 would be to make a new drink in a new glass and throw the broken one out. The missing chip could easily be in that drink and cause all sorts of problems if someone drinks it. Definitely pass this place up and go to pretty much any other bar in Huntington if youre looking for a cocktail.

I have no idea about the food, but the atmosphere is upbeat and pumping, great place, live music. Check it out. Thank you for a great experience.

The bar staff and service 5 stars every time, great DJs and overall environment.Security there honestly is the worst, and its the only reason I cant give this great place 5 stars across the board. Ive been there a couple of times with friends, and every single time, I almost immediately want to leave after interacting with security.My friends have been denied entry because of the dress code as we point out patrons at the bar sitting 2 feet away wearing the same attire.Two security guards were flashing their little flashlights at us at us and yelling across the bar outside for my brother to take off his hood, completely embarrassing us instead of just simply walking over and politely letting us know he cant wear it.I walked in the other night and didnt see security at first but was grabbing my wallet anyway. As Im taking out my ID, I see security approaching me unnecessarily aggressive and places his hand out to block me from walking any further despite the fact I already stopped walking to hand him my ID in the first place.Ive never been there and caused any type of altercation so its mind-blowing to constantly deal with such rudeness from staff I literally interact with the least with while Im there and to my knowledge this place isnt even remotely sketchy enough to have that much security and to be that aggressive just showing up at the door.

Nice Atmosphere. Clean bar. DJ was Good. Bartenders were Nice and Good! Cocktails are a little Expensive but the drinks are good and strong🍸!

I recently hosted a party in the private room at repeal. Michael was so easy to work with and extremely responsive. The bartender Aaron knew everyone’s drink of choice after roubnd 1 and was extremely attentive. All party staff were so nice and accommodating. Mo the DJ referred by Michael was fantastic. We didn’t stop dancing and took all my requests. I could not have asked for a better party. The room was such a great atmosphere

Great find. I suggest the Hawaii Five Ale on tap. Bartenders were friendly and helpful with the large selection of drinks. Live music was an added bonus.

Normally I enjoy coming here, however won’t be coming here again. Last night, 12/21/23, my friends and I came in for a couple of drinks. We wanted to use the photo machine, but the flash was not working. So, we asked the bartender Aaron for help. He was extremely rude and condescending towards us when looking at the photo machine. Very disappointed in this and we won’t be coming here again. Would recommend any other bar in Huntington Village over this one due to its treatment of its customers.

Real nice decoration. Bar wasnt as full as I expected for a Tuesday night at 8pm but I guess thats Huntington for you. Bartender was good and made the drinks strong. 1 more star if they offered a menu and it was more lively.

Just celebrated my 40th birthday over the weekend. Mike made the planning process so easy, especially with me living out of state and planning remotely . The staff was great! Drinks were so good and the vibe was exactly what I was looking for. Had the party in the outdoor area. The overall decor was super cute and made for great pictures. People are still complimenting how great the event was. Thank you again for such a positive experience,

Bartender was nice. Looks nice in there, 2nd time I’ve been there. BUT a $25 credit card minimum is ridiculous especially when there are 3 people in there. I left. Won’t go back out of principle. The Reno looked expensive. The crowd was slim. Doubt you are in any position to turn away customers. Maybe I would’ve drank $25 worth

Great Vibe and Atmosphere... Bartenders know their clients and know how to mix great drinks, with nice pours... The bar food menu is just snacks, but thats not what you come here for... Off the beaten path but well worth the effort to find!

No mention that they were going to charge me a $50 pre authorization fee on my debit card that I used to start a tab, I even told them I was going to pay the final bill in cash the card was just to hold for the tab.

My wife and I stopped in for a couple drinks here on a date night last night and loved it! Good atmosphere, friendly and attentive bartender, great drinks.

A cool bar just off the main Huntington strip which attracts a smaller but still sizable crowd. Drinks are decent and staff is friendly and generally pretty attentive. Bar area is a little narrow, but plenty of space in the back to hangout and dance should you so choose, they have either have DJs or bands play on most weekends. If youre looking to get out and party a bit, but dont want to deal with the insanity of the more popular bars around, this a great option.

Didn’t even have a chance to enter. Coming off of a nice dinner at Jonathan’s for my son in laws bday. My daughter wanted to go to Repeal. They would not let us in because my son in law had cargo pants on. Shame on you Repeal!! I get the dress code but he was dressed better than your dam bouncer who wouldn’t let us in. Will never come back and will make sure everyone I know will not patronize your Bar. Shame on YOU!!

Great Craft selection and full stock of everything else imaginable

Ordered the toasted coconut old fashioned and lavandoula sour. Amazing all around.(Pro tip, play a joke on a friend and order him the sour. Hell have sparkles on his lips all night).

If you are looking to host a party here, all I can say is GO FOR IT!! We highly recommend!! Michael was able to map out every detail with us so we felt comfortable and excited for the experience that all of our guests would have. We rented the space out on a Friday night for over 100 people and were even happier than we thought we would be with the space, the drinks, good “bar” food and the staff ! The combined bar and lounge experience here is not easy to find and when you add on the outdoor garden, DJ, Photo booth and the cool knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff, it truly makes for a perfect party atmosphere. It was truly a night to remember forever!!

I have lived in huntington my whole life and promise you there is not another venue that comes close to this one. We had a surprise 60th birthday party here and it was even greater than we hoped it be. The space and food went beyond our expectations. The bartender Aaron was the most amazing attentive bartender I have ever encountered and the Owner Mike is simply a great person. Highly recommend this place for throwing a party or even grabbing a drink on a Saturday night!

I had my 23rd birthday party here. Staff were super friendly and helpful, drinks were well made and the event space was gorgeous. I’d highly recommend having a private event here!

Place is nice and cozy. Drinks could be better, got 3 cocktails -1. lavender, 2. pineapple, 3. mule- and none of them were good, they felt watery and not balanced. Beer selection was better.

Hosted a reception after a reunion concert with my high school alumni and it was a fantastic venue for this event. Mike and his staff were professional and very thorough throughout the entire process. The space is gorgeous and the right vibe to engage people in conversation.

Aaron was very kind and welcoming. I stopped by for a happy hour beer as I was doing laundry at the laundromat next store and it was exactly what I needed after a day or work and chores. I hope to swing by again to see it in full swing!

Got married last weekend at a nearby venue on a Sunday evening and used Repeal XVIII as an after party option for our guests. 30+ peopleRepeal was perfect, lots of seating, beer garden was great, NFL/ MLB on TV’s. Good Live music as well.Good service. Great place.

I love this place. If you want to truly enjoy an experience of a crafted cocktail at a bar that has great bartenders and a great service this Is the place. I personally recommend Rich, he is one of the bartenders and he knows his drinks. He will tailor a drink for you if you get be here m.an idea of what you are looking for.If you want to do a shot of vodka, this isnt the place. But if you want drinks and a whole different experience.This is the place to be

Mike (the owner) is great and the bartender Aaron is such a good time! The ambiance was amazing, they have a picture machine and it is an overall amazing atmosphere. The espresso martinis are amazing as well! I highly recommend!

A special shout out to the owner, Mike!!! He is amazing - extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating to make sure everyone had a great time. He made everything so easy and helped me through every step of planning the event. Such a cool guy. Also the bartender, Aaron was incredible - he made a point to introduce himself and remembered EVERYONES names and drink orders (for a group of 45 people!!). He would have everyones drink ready for them when he saw them walking up to the bar!! Everyone had an amazing time!! Thank you Mike!! We will definitely be back again soon.

Was looking for a location with nice ambiance to relax and not have to yell to have a conversation. Not only was my expectations met they were definitely exceeded.I had a great time and a great night. Very knowledgeable staff that answered all my questions and pointed me in the right direction with my indecisiveness on what to drink.Its a lounge with all the right ingredients for a really good time!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. I was not expecting it to be so nice. I absolutely love the garden area in the back where there was brick oven pizza being made. The area with the televisions and the pool table was very nice as well. Raven the bartender was absolutely amazing, the rest of the staff is super friendly and kind. Very nice place with a super friendly owner that makes it a point to walk around and introduce himself and ask if everything is ok. I highly recommend this place.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I went there the other day with a friend on a Saturday night. First we got two classic cocktails that were so sweet we already felt the hangover. When we asked for them to be fixed, the bartender asked me about paying for the previous two. They had charged me without having me sign anything!!!! Then proceeded to charge me again!! I waited 20 minutes to talk with a manager and then had to wait another 30 minutes for him to figure out what went wrong! After all that, I WAS STILL CHARGED!! I have never been so upset with a bar and that is coming from a bartender! Not worth it and the cocktails are poorly made!

I can not RAVE about Repeal enough!! We recently had our 30th reunion here and the owner, Mike, handled every last detail! We knew that everything would be perfect and it was! Our guests were so impressed with the ambiance and the friendliness of entire staff!!! We were in great hands! Repeal is an absolutely gorgeous venue to host your next event or to just hang out with a group of friends for a night of fantastic cocktails in a Huntington Village. It is THE place!!

Absolutely wonderful. The bartenders are knowledge and accommodating. I got lost in a conversation with both the bartender and the owner and I couldnt ask for a better bar. The atmosphere is chill and the drink menu is the best Ive seen, the speakeasy vibe is a nice touch. Cant say enough good things about this place, wish I loved in the area to come more regularly. Had a private event in the back room for my 30th birthday, Aaron the bartender was amazing as well as the whole staff and the whole night was perfect, definitely recommend booking your event/party here!

Great place for drinks and music. The DJ has great range. The place is clean and the staff is profession and engaging. Raven the bartender is awesome! Come for the upscale drinks and atmosphere and stay for the dance party. DJ was Sound Dejour.

Would not recommend going here if you are a woman who doesn’t want to be assaulted. Some guy grabbed my friend and tried to kiss her and not only did security refuse to kick him out, they wouldn’t even check the cameras. Then they told us we’d still have to reach the $25 credit card minimum when we tried to leave, after my friend was literally groped. We should have called the police but all I can do now is say DONT GO HERE.

Great place. Moving from the city, happy to find lounge just to hang out, but bartner Kay (I believe that’s her name- brunette w glasses), is terrible. No service, only appealed tomale clients. Olivia though was great and helped me and my group through out

Place is bigger than it looks. Gas live bands on weekend and a pool table in the back room with other games. It has 2bars and the workers are very friendly. Bathrooms are clean and easy parking across the street.

Such a fun vibe! Mood lighting for sure. The furniture and decor is delightful, and gives the feel that youve time traveled back to the 1920s. There is seating at the bar, along the back wall, in the back with room for a dance floor, and then theres a back room with a pool table and partial outside area. The pool table was closed due to COVID(?) but it was enjoyable to be there nonetheless. The playlist is excellent!!

What a great spot and a great time! Stopped in for a cocktail, and glad we did. There is a lot going on and something for everyone. There are two rooms. An inside bar where people were dancing to a DJ, and playing games like Jenga. There is another room in the back which is outside, with another bar and a huge projection screen television. Someone was celebrating a private party in the back the night we were there, and everyone was having a great time. Plus, the owner was walking around, saying hello to people and making sure everything was running smoothly, which is always nice to see. Highly recommend Repeal!

Played live jazz music when we came. Really fun watching our drinks get made by the bartender. We stayed for the pool table, which is $2 a game. My friend liked that he could watch the game while listening to music.

So many high standards but falls flat of achieving most of them. Bartenders and owners kept coming around and taking my near empty glasses because the bar was low on glasses. They took an hour to put a fight on after it started.

Atmosphere is absolutely stunning, the service & staff were so friendly & fast. The drinks.... OMG, like we’ve never had before. So many choices. Every single one was delicious. Highly recommend this beautiful place and can’t wait to go back!

If I could I would give zero stars. Horrible bartenders, warm beer, awful crowd. Such an upsetting night. This place was highly recommended and I could not be more disappointed

Bouncers are incredibly rude and seem to be on a power trip. Went there the other night with my friends and were told our IDs were fake when we’re all more than the legal age and from New York. They even threatened to take and search through my friends wallet as if they’d have the authority to do so and then became aggressive toward him. To top it off they kept making rude remarks during the whole altercation. I’ve never been treated so poorly by employees at a bar, and can’t believe they’re even still open if they treat customers like this and can’t even tell a real ID from a fake one.

Would not let me in because I had boots ! Bar was empty and we were looking to get some drinks guess we will take our money somewhere else. Makes no sense

After an hour and two drinks, the security guard came over and told me I cant wear my hat backwards. The security guard literally called me a douche because I continued to wear my hat backwards. Based on other peoples comments, its clear this bar only wants well dressed/hot girls as patrons. Will not be returning.

In the heart of Huntington this long time hot spot got a major facelift when it became Repeal XVIII. Great period styled decor, rapid service f on the bar and both live entertainment and a dj afterwards make it a must go to spot in this destination town.

Scenery was pretty cool and the bar had alot of space. They dont make frozen drinks :( but they make a good bourbon and honey

I LOVE speakeasies and prohibition vibes and this is just that! On google it comes up at P&Qs but its actually Repeal. We went in not really knowing what to expect but were so happy we went!The place is MASSIVE - with a lounge, pool table + beer garden in the back! When you enter, you see small tables with like checker boards under the glass, and then the massive bar. Walking pass the bar, theres more space to sit and hang out, a swing and even a Photo Booth. Behind that is the lounge + garden.Now - the bartender John Kraft is an AMAZING bartender. We all had 3 different drinks from him - our first drink was off the menu then the next two were ones he thought of based on what we like. I started with the crusaders movement (vodka) and it was amazing. I think that may have been my favorite one but honestly they were all so freaking good I cant even tell you!The next one was their cucumber house vodka mixed with a lot of great things and if I remembered what was in it Id tell you - I think it was mixed with Violet de crem but I might be wrong.I dont even remember the last drinks name but I think he named it the scorpio cancer because Zodiacs duh! It had the orange botanical kettle vodka, lots of other great things, a spritz of rose water and garnished with orange peel and basil.Everything here is amazing and I say order what you like and also stay for a bit, and let John make you a speciality handkrafted cocktail (his last name is Kraft and Im trying to be witty)ALSO ALSO ALSOTheir Pineapple Chipotle Pepper infused Tequila is AMAZING. We took shots and didnt need any chasers. SO freaking good!

Pre-gamed here before a concert at the Paramount with some friends. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable and theyve gotta great selection of booze, more than your typical bar
