Massage Envy

I had an amazing experience with Valerie before but it’s been awhile since I’ve had the pleasure of her expertise. I was fortunate enough to have her as my therapist again last night and she is by far my favorite! So sweet! So professional! And just an awesome massage therapist!

Im back amending this post because after posting it I read through some of the other reviews. Doesnt really matter what I say here because it appears that the owners just dont care. They respond to all the positive comments and absolutely ignore the negative ones so use this information as you will. I am a person who receives regular massages, and I have to say this was the oddest experience Ive ever had.I am female and I had a female massage therapist. She had a very odd way of draping my body,. Whenever she moved a body part or when I turned from stomach to back she had little concern about making sure that my chest was covered in fact she pulled the sheets down to cover my feet all the way to my waist and I had to pull it back up. She also did not ask if I wish to have any kind of stretching and just proceeded to stretch my body which exposed other body parts. I have osteoporosis and I do not twist and when she got to the twist I just said absolutely not . Then halfway through the massage a man actually walked into my room. After my massage my therapist disappeared and I went to find the restroom , by accident I found the man who had walked into my room. I asked him what had happened and he told me the front desk told him that that was his room, he apologized profusely ,he was very embarrassed and I was sad for him to have that experience as well. I then went to the front desk and made a comment about the man walking into my room because they had told him that was his massage room and they completely ignored and asked me if I wanted to book another session. I have to say Ive never had this happen before, but I have also never been to that massage envy. It is not my home location. I found the front desk very u caring, perhaps they did not know how to respond or did not think it was a big deal.They were too busy on their computers to even really have eye contact. It was so odd I almost felt like it was the police making a raid on a substandard massage parlor, if you know what I mean.But I take it all in stride, weird things happen every day and hopefully this was just a one-time occurrence. But if its happened to somebody else at this Spa, they can write about it and then the spa owners can know that they have some work to do.

Janet was exceptional!! It was my husband’s 50th Birthday and I was hoping he would have a wonderful massage. When he came out, he said it was the BEST one he has ever had! When you are a member and you see a lot of different therapists, that says a lot! Highly recommend her and very thankful for her!

Thought I would get a massage. Upon arrival I was greeted. When trying to book a massage that afternoon, they were pushing membership the entire time when I just wanted to try it out once. I provided my information and had the appointment set the next day. Everything ready to go and was looking forward to the massage. I arrived at my appointment and they had cancelled it. They said, they tried to reach out to me only to find out they inputted my number wrong in their system. Regardless, who cancels an appointment that was set less than 24 hours. Moreover, If I was a “No Show” then they would have charged me a cancellation fee. Based on that, they had no right to cancel my appointment. They knew I was upset and they read their commercial protocol apology and ask to book again. The staff although polite were incompetent. They don’t even offer a discount for there screw up. I asked to cancel my information and I now receive spam from them. Between Stockton location to Huntington Beach, I recommend staying away from the Envy chains. Better to go to a resort or private or get a referral from a friend. Three Strikes with Massage Envy.

I have been a regular at Massage Envy for a while now, and I have to give a special shoutout to Bryce, my go-to massage therapist. Bryce has an incredible ability to melt away stress and tension with his expert techniques. Every session with him leaves me feeling rejuvenated and ready to tackle the world.I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant to write this review because, honestly, I dont want Bryce to get too booked up—I need to keep some spots available for myself! (Just kidding... kind of.) But in all seriousness, Bryce is a gem, and if youre looking for a massage therapist who truly knows how to deliver an exceptional experience, hes your guy.

Jackie has been the best massage therapist for me. She is professional, personable, and really takes care of the exceptionally tight or knotted areas. I always leave feeling so relaxed and refreshed. I love my sessions with her!

Both my husband and I walked out like zombies. Super relaxing and phenomenal massage. I saw Sarah and my husband saw Mercedez. Both listened very well to what we asked for and definitely delivered. We can’t wait to come back and do a 90 min.

I scheduled an appointment when I got there they did not have it in the computer. I was really upset because I had been a member 12 years ago and they screwed up more than once so I canceled my membership so I joined up again and a few times it went ok until this last visit. The massage was good it was the person that took my call and that dropped the ball

Terry is great. I went in for foot reflexology, which is what she also specializes in. It was exactly what I was looking for. I made an appointment to see her again. Thank you, Terry when I left massage envy I felt great.

Leona is reliable and always keeps her appointments. She takes great care in making sure your experience is relaxing and exactly what you want from the massage. She checks in with you throughout to ensure the pressure is inline with your expectations. By the end of my session I’m always so relaxed and feel so much better. Appreciate you so much Leona and thank you for taking such care of your clients. 🥰

Dianne was AMAZING! I loved how intense and focused she was on relieving all of my tension in my shoulders and back.Also, customer service was ver kind and helpful!

So my wife says this place did her nice and had a good time but I treated with the upmost disrespect. I couldn’t believe how rude that masseuse was she treated me degradingly for now reason. Extremely disrespectful towards me. Never had such a bad experience at a massage parlor before. Front desk staff was nice but some tall skinnier lady with tattoos was the absolute worst.

I went back to Massage Envy after 3 years and i was very pleased with my therapist, Liam. I have a lot of neck and shoulder pain and he did a great job helping me to relax and relieve pressure. He was super attentive and very respectful. I highly recommend him.

After a session with Valerie, using the right amount of pressure, I walked away feeling exceptionally relaxed and loose. No more tension in my shoulders or neck. Will be a repeat customer.

Maggie provided one of the best facials I’ve received at Massage Envy. She completely customized my treatment based off my current needs and concerns. My skin was glowing!! I immediately scheduled another visit right after.

Bryce was exceptional. He understood my aches and communicated with me with a kind and caring demeanor. I would definitely recommend him

Jose at Seacliff Massage Envy is my go-to person for deep tissue massage. He is great at medium and light as well. To give you context, Ive been a Massage Envy member for 6 years and to quantify my requests for medium or light pressure.. Id say 5 - 10%. Jose does the perfect deep tissue massage. Its been 1.5 years since Ive been going to Jose and I hope hell be there forever!

I was having hip pain and Jesus was able to alleviate the pain after just one session. I’ve been doing weekly follow up sessions and the pain is gone and my flexibility has improved. Being 63, I’m working very hard to improve my health and Jesus is helping me meet my goals.😄

Sarah gave the perfect massage. She asked questions as to what I needed her to focus on and the type of massage I wanted. It was such a great experience. I highly recommend her.

Jackie was amazing! Strong massage hitting the most needed body parts! Definitely walked out feeling much better than when I came in!

5 out of 10, not worth the $140.00 as I still tipped well.. Started about 7 minutes late, ended about 6 minutes early on top of the conversation consultation time - etc….. seemed like a 2 minute break between every 10 mins of massage. My 90 minute massage seemed less then an actual 60 of massage.

Went to this massage parlor for our out of state babymoon. I specifically called to check that they have the tables with a belly hole for the maternity massage and was told on the day that they don’t have those tables.My massage therapist, Leslie, was late, disorganised in having the bedding ready, and finished up a private call while I was waiting in the room. Hands down the most disappointing massage I have ever had. My husbands massage therapist, Diane, was also late to be seen and only focused on the areas he had mentioned as target areas, but this was a whole body massage.I don’t know how this parlor has such good reviews as we both left feeling so disappointed and that we had wasted our money.

Sarah is an excellent masseuse. She adjusts the pressure to your comfort level and remembers. She is responsive and not intrusive. I recommend her highly.

Massage Envy never fails to lift my spirits. Each visit is a reminder of why self-care and taking time to pause is so important. I was pretty crunchy when I walked in for my session and left feeling much looser and more relaxed thanks to Jose. He made sure the room and table were comfortable and warm and checked in with me. I appreciated his calm presence and his ability to tackle stubborn muscle areas. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Jose!

Kaylin, at the front desk, is incredibly competent! She is fast, accurate, and friendly. But what impressed me the most is that she wrote down our cell phone numbers so that she wouldn’t have to ask for them repeatedly as we made several appointments. The last time we did this I mentioned that a good relational database would solve the problem. She remembered and did her best to improve our experience. That’s what I call great customer service!

Always a great experience at ME with Jackie! She’s professional, knowledgeable and adjusts well to requests depending on the needs of the session.

Maggie is the best! She takes her time, she has a lot of knowledge and she has brought my skin back to life! When I first came to her I had dark spots, a ton of milia and my face was dry and dull. At 45, my skin is now in the best condition and its all because of Maggie!

Excellent place. Super nice inside. Got a top notch massage (Terry) and a relaxing facial where I could see and feel the results notably afterwards (wonderful Thai lady I forget her name) the front desk girls are also very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend. I got the membership. If you dont use your credits accumulate. Also this location, Main street, Huntington is also less busy than the Edinger one so Ill go here.

I come here monthly, and my go tos are Scott or Diana. Scott is a great listener and will focus on problem areas. Diana is no joke, if you want a firm massage - she is the one for you!

Benjamin is awesome. Every time I come he remembers what we discussed from the previous time. He listens to me and is easy to talk to. He’s very skilled in relieving my pain. I think he does an amazing job. I had never had massage before coming to Massage envy and having my massages with Benjamin and I am just amazed at the difference. It has made in my pain level and my ability to function on daily basis. I truly appreciate, his expertise and the exccellent job he does every time I get a massage.

I have been a member at Massage Envy for over 5 years. Their staff are amazing. I have never had a bad massage and front desk employees are friendly. I highly recommend. José is top notch!

My massage therapist was not fluid and didn’t seem like she really was very experienced. My massage ended 5-10 minutes early too. My neck wasn’t done either which is one of my main pain areas. my apt was at 645, and was not brought back until almost 655, and prob started the massage around 705, and it ended at 745z. The front desk staff was amazing and very kind and helpful. But my massage experience was not and I do not feel any better today. Pretty disappointed. I would almost like a refund or something because it honestly wasn’t good. I even still tipped her 20 dollars because to be nice

Jose is awesome!! He listens to what my concerns are and is careful to lightly massage my sciatic that has been extremely painful. He always asks if the pressure is okay, and adjusts as needed. Pays closer attention to problem areas so I get the most benefit. I’m so grateful for Jose!!!

I got a facial from Nucharee. The best facial at a very reasonable price and a very nice person as well.

The chemical peel was okay. Thought it would be stronger although she said first time at ME it needs to be mild.

Last time I was there, the guy did not do a very good job of covering me. I did a full body massage so I opted to not wear anything, but he cld hv covered me better! It was very awkward. But the massage was otherwise very good

I had a wonderful 1st visit to this location in Huntington Beach. Janet was a great massage therapist and took it all in stride that I had a bad shoulder from a car wreck and am waiting for surgery for a replacement. The 24 hr pain I am experiencing eased up from her techniques and perfect deep but not too deep.

Massage Envy West’s staff is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. The environment is clean, provides calming music, heated tables, and dimmed lighting, and delivers what you ask for. My massage (deep tissue adding hydrating lotion) by Jose was exceptional. Having many massages by Jose, he never fails to provide relief. Being 75 and recovering from two surgeries, his work on my neck took my ongoing headache away; however, I advise you to book early, as Jose is always in demand.

First off, Noot is awesome! She’s my go to for a good facial! My skin is always radiant and glowing the the weeks after my session! I can’t recommend her enough :)Secondly, Benjamin is my go to for massages. He listens to what your concerns are and gets right to work taking care you. I always walk out feeling a lot better and more relaxed compared to when I walked in.

Bryce is a very skilled therapist. He listens to me when I specify the areas Id like to concentrate on and he executes to those needs. I always feel much better after a session with Bryce.

Clean, relaxing environment, warm and friendly staff. I feel that they recognize me when I come and go. Helpful. My primary masseuse, Diane, does an amazing job. The best deep tissue. The other three massage therapists I use do a wonderful job, and I enjoy them when I cant book Diane. I am a big guy and they all do a great job.

Jacqueline gave the best massage ever. She was attentive, checked on temperature, pressure, and overall comfort. She knew exactly what my body needed and this was my first time with her (and I am extremely picky). Was so happy, I booked two more appts with her.

Diane is excellent for a deep tissue massage. She pays close attention to finding all your knots and areas of tension.

Jose did a great job with my massage. He knew all the right pressure points and I feelSo much better today. I highly recommend him.

Jose always targets my problem areas and helps ease my muscle aches. What I enjoy most is that while he massages out knots, he’s still making it a relaxing experience. Don’t get me wrong, my back needs work most visits but by the time my massage is over I feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

I went in for my first chemical peel yesterday and it was amazing! I was very nervous but Maggie (I believe it was, sorry if I am wrong!) made me feel super comfortable and informed me about each step of the process. I’m so excited for my next treatment!!

Jose at Seacliff is by far the best therapist Ive had. The pressure he applies is perfect and Im so glad to have found him here at Seacliff. Hes professional, checks in with pressure. Fantastic overall

Ruth is very intuitive. I enjoy her approach to the holistic massage experience. She is a gift!

Maries facial massage techniques leave much to be desired. Usually, the aesthetician would inform the client of each step or treatment being applied to the skin. Marie did not do so, probably because there weren’t any topical treatments applied to my face, neck and shoulders as she provided the facial “massage “. There wasn’t any pressure to her massage strokes, so it felt like it was done by a child pretending she was giving a facial. Marie was very talkative and prone to gossip which I got sucked into. Ive had facials by a number of Massage Envy aestheticians and they have been been consistently good, and I was under the impression that all Massage Envy aestheticians would have the same type of training and standards. I can only provide my opinion based on my previous experiences. Unfortunately, I felt that Maries facial was subpar to put it mildly, not consistent with the previous facials I’ve had with Massage Envy, and very disappointing.

When massage envy made a mistake on cancelling my appointment without calling me. They went beyond in making things right. I call this outstanding customer service. My massage therapist Janet was amazing on taking care of my problem stops.

Valerie was amazing as her skills were precise and very helpful for releasing my tight muscles which surround an old back break.If she can help me and my tight back, she can help anyone!
