Club Impulse

Great bar and dance club/concert venue. Drinks are expensive and service can be very slow; but the easy going atmosphere and ability to have fun outweigh the cons.

Absolute worst “club” experience ever. This is not a club. It is a 65+ non interracial, non lifestyle friendly dance session. Absolutely not lifestyle friendly as they advertise. We were there with a very large group and treated absolutely ridiculous. They called the cops, made a huge scene.. profiled us as “one of those people” never ever again!When we all get together and go out, we bring serious business to whereever we end up. We will never return, ever! They don’t even deserve 1 star!

This place was the worse club if that’s what you want to call it. We went with a large group of people where we was interracial group that didn’t like the fact of that. We was doing nothing wrong cops was called friends was detained and traumatized from the experience the management couldn’t come talk to no one like adults and downgraded us. At one point told us “we know what we are like” what was that suppose to mean very racist. This is club is for 65 plus. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there especially in a large group. If I could give the a zero rating I would. I will never go back to that club every again.

Honestly they should just specify that this place is for 65+. I went with a large group of people over the weekend and lets just say their regulars are easily uncomfortable apparently and the staff are more accommodating to them! And instead of addressing and correcting issues themselves they resort to the extreme of calling the police (After reading some of the other reviews from people within the past year, this is clearly an ongoing issue)! Im sure there is a lot of better bars/clubs that are open and welcoming for bigger crowds and diversity! If Im ever back visiting the area, this will definitely not be a place I go again!

This Club has changed they never have black bands anymore which makes me to believe they’re a little prejudice .

Went here with my wife and another couple. We were harassed by the hotel staff all evening. My wife was told that her dress was riding up while dancing and making people uncomfortable. The married couple we were with were told that their kissing was making people uncomfortable, finally we were asked to leave and the cops were called d/t us dancing ‘provocatively’ If you’re under 65 and like to have a good time, this is not the place to hang out.

I was there from out of town with a large group and because several friends were dancing provocatively the cops were called and two of my friends were detained. Are you serious? The staff couldn’t just talk to us like adults? It was so discriminatory overall because we were an interracial group as well. I would not suggest ever visiting this club if 8n Cleveland area.

Recently visited with a group of friends from out of town. A couple were dancing too close and management decided calling the police was better than asking to leave room for Jesus. Unless youre a regular I wouldnt advise going.

I went there with a group of friends and two of them were arrested , we are a large group of friends and we do get rowdy but instead of speaking to any of us about our conduct they immediately called the police !!! Lives were effected and my friends were traumatized unnecessarily and the night was ruined , the manager was very rude to all of us and kicked us out , a lot Us were from out of town and don’t get to see each other often and instead of being spoken to like adults , our Freedom was threatened and our entire night destroyed , there was no respect or dignity afforded to us , I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN ! And I encourage any large groups to stear clear of this place !!!!

Went with a date to see velvet shake .the lounge was busy but had plenty of seating The server we had never forgot about us and kept up with anything we neededAppetizers were quick to come out and very good The crowd was about 30 and older Music played til the band started And they were very good The variety was impressive, from Carrie underwood to rick James to ac/DCThe dance floor was never empty It would have been a 5 star except the rain was pretty bad and there was a bucket catching drips of water on the dance floor By the end of our night there were 3 buckets catching water surrounded by caution tape Nothing like a free shower We didnt know if we were getting blessed or if there was going to be a flashback from Carrie lol. Overall its a good place to go to get away from the downtown scene and have a really good time

My experience was terrible they were judgmental and discriminatory towards me and my friends they even called the cops on my friends for no reason and it was worst club ever never going again if you are ever in Cleveland don’t not go to this establishment ever

Here right now. We have been waiting 45 minutes for a waitress to order food. Yes they are busy!! Went to the bar twice for drinks and they say they are sending someone over. Obviously not interested in locals, only in those who book their seminar rooms!

Currently, this place is closed...or No DJ in other words. The last DJ was pretty lame and played the same songs every week with nothing new or trendy. Hopefully, when they reopen; a new, progressive DJ will take over.

Nice location, large dance floor. Appitizer are good, service can be a bit slower when the place is packed. Friendly staff.

Went there to dance with a friend, the music was very good, drinks were good, met another couple, we had a great time.

Great place to dance and have fun!

If they would invest in better live music it would be nice!
