We decided to go here while on vacation. Me and my friend’s first time at a gay bar together. We enjoyed it. The bartender was very friendly. We ordered margarita’s and watched the drag show. It was simple but yet it was just perfect. Everyone was so nice.

I visisted. The bar had a few customers but the bartender refused to even look at me or acknowledge i was waiting at bar. Ive been to bars with this kind of service. I left. No thanks.I dont even care to understand why I cant be greeted. They were not busy. But he was chatting and purposely trying to avoid certain customers. Hopefully indy has better options. Especially for people of color.

The music they bump is way more catchy and the dance floor is populated with guys who are mostly dls standing around like how they do in straight clubs, scoping out an easy pick up and the other half is guys who came with their friends group and just wanna stick with that

There is too much drag.... There is no dancing on the dance floor till after 12am. By that time Im heading home. I would suggest an earlier show or maybe every other weekend show. These shows are helping Gregs so I dont think they are bad. I think me and other patrons would like to be able to use the one gay bar with a dance floor be used for what it is meant to be used for. Sometimes the drag show go even later and the cleanup processes makes the dance floor open even later. Im sorry to say that Ive been going less and less because of this reason, and if I cant go there to do what I intended Im going to take my money elsewhere. This is not intended to hurt or shame anyone. I just feel like it needs to be put out there, and that I am not the only one feeling this way.

Now the longest running gay establishment in Indianapolis, Gregs has seen its share of management styles. The current owners and staff are among the best I have experienced. The customer is foremost. I look forward to decades of fun at a hub of the LGTBQ+ community.

Queer women or nonbinaries, beware. The staff is fine, but the male patrons are VERY exclusionary and were very vocal with their displeasure at us being there. Three different male patrons came up to us and made some kind of remark that conveyed that they did not want us there.

Terrible service from the receptionist on the night of 26/05 - Sunday. Im a tourist, Im visiting the city, I presented my passport as a valid identity document and this lady did not allow me to enter the establishment.

I adore the drag shows at this location. Talk about charisma!! I come here with friends and everyone is always so kind. I feel very safe and the vibes are immaculate. I drop a pretty penny, but the experience is always worth it.

Have not been here but my friend I made in Indy said he made out with this guy in the bar so it must be a really good bar!

First time going to a bar, and it was an absolute blast. Felt accepted, and safe. Everyone was so nice and complimented everyone. Will definitely be going back here again.

Kind of a dying place it seems. Wednesday nights are truly empty. One of the young bartenders is truly stuck up & his nasty attitude is written all over his face. I think they need to expand the dancing times. One of the drag queens came out one evening in pink shorts and clown makeup and was basically a huge joke and obviously just wanting tips. My tip is to be more serious because u are making the other real queens look bad with your knock off clown act. The people are very friendly and the bartenders are extremely courteous except for the one mentioned above. I think indy needs a new gay bar that is offering a little more than this. Im surprised there isnt food. Overall rating wouldve been 5 stars but I cant get past the clown act and the extremely rude young bartender. The door greeter Richard is the happiest, friendliest and respectful person I think Ive met in a very long time. He made our visit extremely worth it.

Waited 15 min before I was served, and the people here are friendly until you misspeak.

Greg’s hosted us for their Leather @ Our Place event and were fantastic! The bar tenders and especially Michael are hardworking, great people that want to make sure everyone has a great time. The music, the atmosphere- it was all fantastic!

Though I love going to a bar where I can be myself, last night kind of ruined it for me. We were having a good time until somebody came in wearing nothing but a harness, jock, and leather dog mask. Made me extremely uncomfortable. I might go back, but never on a weekend again.

The bar every gay should feel comfortable at! Greg, Kenny and Elijah are awesome bartenders! Very friendly and welcoming place for the gay community to come together and dance and have a good drink!

We had a blast last night! Everyone made us feel very welcome. The hottie at the door was very sweet. Awesome staff all around. Shout out to Marcus Thank you and Reggie you are so cute. You made both our nights better. 😘😘 The ladies performing were amazing! Very hot! We will be back soon. 😍🥰

Some of my friends frequently come here and took me here for the first time. Had tons of fun, friendly fun people, and the dance floor plays good dance music. Was dancing all night having fun with friends and new friends. Nice fun place!

Had an amazing time! The staff was friendly and the bar tender was very sweet and quick. Greg himself was helping to tend the bar and walked around to the tables (we were watching a drag show) to make sure everything was good. Sage was hilarious and friendly, and i will definely be coming back and bringing more friends!

I like this bar. Its my go-to gay bar in Indy since 501 Eagle closed. I would give it 5 stars, but the guy working the door on Saturday nights is very obnoxious and rude. He judges everyone who walks in, whether good or bad, and even if there is a line at the door, he will do things such as have conversations with people or about the guy that preceeded you in line.

This is a typical gay bar. It has a dance floor, a social section, a place to play pool, and a patio for smokers. The drinks here are very strong, something to be mindful about. BAR IS CASH ONLY. There is an ATM inside though if you need cash.This bar is particularly popular on Fridays and one of the last gay bars in Indianapolis.

Just a fabulous little place. Do 🛑 here and enjoy some local flavor.

This is a great gay bar to go to, not many women though if youre lesbian. However, one of the barkeeps makes a MEAN Berry Cosmo, best one I ever had. My main complaint is hardly anyone dances outside of special events. I generally sit up stairs or in the pool room and enjoy that as it can be VERY crowded in the main bar. If youre looking for fresh air, they have an ally that runs the length of the bar thats well lit and even has a smoke shack with a heater. I dont even smoke but its nice and relaxing to hang out there every now and again.

Bar is clean, bathrooms not private. Decorated for the holiday inside. Not many places to sit if crowded, but lots of standing room. Drag shows are fun and for charity, with a separate bar by the stage. No cover charge, friendly staff. Pool tables and darts available. Daily drink specials.

I have been going to this club for many years. It started out as a small, one-room, cruise bar in the 80s named Our Place. It has evolved into a full-service club, complete with an outdoor patio area, dance floor, dart and pool game rooms, etc. The staff is friendly. They make great beverages. You should visit them soon. You will enjoy the time you spend there.

Very friendly club. Everyone is very kind, it was nice. The price tag is good. I was lucky, I got to share, got free cocktails and a private room for an hour. To do this, register on 909gay,com create a profile, and show it to the administrator. The first time I have such luck.

Some of my LGBT friends took me here for a change in scenery and it took me maybe 30 seconds to realize that this was not my normal scene! I had a great time, and everyone was beyond friendly and warm. Great environment and I must say AWESOME people. No doubt if I’m ever in the area again I will visit. I had a blast!

I being an activist started right here handing out pamphlets and organizing protest at Veterans Park. It started right here a while ago. We got gay marriage and more acceptance but still have a long way to go.I love the dance floor, being close to hot sweaty men is alright with me! Usually the music sucks but occasionally a GREAT song pops up!Loved Mothers Day bash & Halloween, you still do that? Hope so...

Whoever is in charge of managing this bar needs to go. Hallowed weekend and you don’t have the dance floor open. Terrible drag and bag ladies and it’s nearly midnight. Move on.

Gregs always has had a rather antiseptic, nonsexual atmosphere to it, and nothing has changed. This bar has never been cruisy which only makes that fact worse now that 501 is gone. If you go there with friends youre fine. Go there by yourself, youll most likely feel invisible before your first drink is finished. Its not a horrible place, its just rather dull. If I want to drink alone, Id rather go to Downtown Ollies. At least its comfortable.

Came with two of my chubby friends and had a good time on Labor Day weekend, want to come back and will make an effort to come back. The drag show was awesome, love the girls. Keep the shows up. 👍👍👍

I have a few friends that have had close calls with sexual assault, myself included, and last night a friend of mine actually was. The staff was made aware of it and did nothing to resolve the situation. Personally I have not been back there in a couple of years because of that sort of environment but for them to do nothing about it is utterly unacceptable. If you value yourself do not go there.

Its like a staple gay bar in Indianapolis. They offer line dancing on some nights. Pretty decent size dance floor. Theres a smoking section out back. Great drink specials. Cash only!

Place rocks out loud! I enjoy them being on the 16th St corridor and love going here with my wife on date nights. Cheers to Gregs!

Cash only, FYI. There is some line dancing that goes on in the second room until midnight and then opens up to general/pop music. They have great drink specials and three different bar locations, so no excuse to ever be without a drink - unless you dont have cash. Ha ha, there is an ATM inside.

Greggs is a flagship of Indy gay culture. Theyve done a great job of keeping the interior fresh with the times. Whether you just want to sit at the bar and enjoy a beer or head out on the weekend for a bustling adventure, you really cant go wrong with Greggs.

Great atmosphere however I went to my car to pit things away and then again to grab my phone from out there I was questioned why I went in and out so much by the door guy. Otherwise I had a great time.

Love this place! Everyone is so friendly and the prices for drinks are perfect. They have different events happening all the time. Show Tune Sundays are wonderful!

Visited for the first time at the end of September for a co-workers birthday and had a blast! Would definitely visit again!

Complete and utter waste of time and money. Staff were completely rude and unwelcoming. Bar was unkept and after waiting for 30 minutes, we still couldn’t get ANY service. I will definitely not give Greg’s my business in the future.

I recently visit 11-1-18 nice clean modern friendly piace ì was the only cd there but staff and a patron Made me veri comfortable
