I came here with my boyfriend and the service here is actual garbage. Even after he called and reserved a table, we still had to wait 30 minutes for service. The waiters didn’t come around and check on us and one waiter forgot to bring me my change. My boyfriend had to ask for it on our way out the door. So unprofessional.The drag shows are lively. Pat Yo Weave is a favorite, but, sadly, the service is the biggest turn off to this establishment.

My group of friends had a ball here. The show was great the food was good and the drinks were plentiful. The Queens did an amazing job

Zonies is great for Drag shows and drinks. The staff is always fun! If youre hungry they have great snacks. We always have a great time when going out!

First time ever going was last night . We celebrated my sisters birthday and omg was it fun ! Loved this place and loved the shows that weee put on. Definitely will be going back in the future I just hope we didnt piss any of the workers off lol

Review based on drag show nights, it is so fun and definetly an experience! Everyone was inviting, great vibes and smiles all around.

THE ATMOSPHERE OF THIS PLACE WAS DEFINITELY LIT. I loved the set up! The dancers were GREAT! BLACK MAGIC IS MY FAVVV! The food was amazing! All around cool spot! BUT there were a few things I didn’t like.. 1. My drink had no alcohol in it. 2. Our waiter was kinda rude... he rushed us to order, he didn’t check on us after we ordered, he didn’t listen to what we ordered, & on top of all that it took him almost 20 min to come over to us when we got there & it wasn’t even busy. Overall I enjoyed myself :)

Absolutely LOVE this place. Amazing environment with entertaining drag shows every weekend. Lori, one of the owners, is the sweetest lady on this Earth. Zonies is a second home to me and I enjoy every single moment that I’m there. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Attended a birthday party and wasnt sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was comfortable, no problems getting a drink, cold beer, friendly people, and entertaining show. Advice, its cash only, $5 cover and bring $20 in one dollar bills to tip the performances.

Everyone was super friendly and despite not being that crowded on a Friday at midnight it was still lively. Girls in the show were great and their interaction with everyone was very fun. Wanting to go back soon. Loved that it was seemingly a neighborhood bar. I love that type of place.

Cool place, don’t to earth, dive-y...especially for a queer bar. Usually feels like a non-judge mental atmosphere. I only gave 4 stars because the location (which I know can’t be helped) but also the interior could use a few updates. Other than that, cool place to see a drag show and grab a cheap drink!

If I could give zero stars I would. We had a bachelorette party of 9. We all paid our cover. As soon as we arrived the bar tender was on top of us hounding us about the rules. Being unnecessarily rude about the rules. We should have Wales our there. We had quite a bit to drink before arriving so we didnt need any more to drink tonight. We enjoyed the show and tipped the queens quite well for the little they actually danced. At the end of the night the bar tender announced over the microphone that we were unwelcome because we didnt spend enough money on drinks and quieens.we will never be back.

Zonies Closet is a Queer establishment. Zonies is always a good time!!! This is a Cash only bar. If you forget that, no big deal theres an ATM when you walk in the door.Zonies is small but thats part of its charm. The intimate setting allows you to have a one on one connection with the performers. Zonies offers drag shows: Weds-Sunday. Some of the days have themed events so youre able to catch whatever drag youd like. The bar staff is fast and friendly.This establishment does not serve food, but you are allowed to bring in your own. Ive even seen folks have meals delivered!This is one of the few Queer bars left in Indy. This bar to me is a safe space. The patrons no matter how they identify are respectful of the persons and the performers. If I could change one thing about Zonies it would be that they offer and dance night! Move out those chairs and let everyone dance. I recommend you go here. Its a fun time. Bring your cash, tip the performers and bar staff, and sit back for an amazing show.

Great first time experience! Went friday night drag queen show. Make reservations or you may be standing... For a $2 cover we had SO much fun. Show lasted 2 hrs. Performers interacted with the crowd alot. Go experience this place!!!!

Always have a grand time. A bit on the crowded side but rubbing against people can be intimidating or just fun. Drinks are good the Owners/Bartenders are nice. Hell, even the Lady that checks ID is nice.Fun to be had for all...

Zonies just gets better every year. If youre looking for a hole in the wall feel with big city entertainment, this is the place to go! Its a little cramped, but the service and entertainment are worth it. The owners personally bartend and take care of every one every night. The drag shows are legendary. Alana Steele is one of the most incredible performers Ive ever seen. If youre looking for a family bar with great drinks and world class entertainment, this is the place to go!

This place, both the building and the current business that occupies it, are downright mainstays in the community they serve. Its not in the greatest of neighborhoods, but in the over six years Ive been going Ive not once felt unsafe. This feat alone speaks volumes to the environment created by Lori and Denice.Add to that fun and well priced drink specials, a slew of interesting bartenders throughout the week, a huge privacy fenced patio space, consistently entertaining entertainers and shows, and how much they give back to their conmunity; youve got yourself a recipe for what can only be known as Zonies Closet!!!

We were in on first Sunday for strippers. Reminded me why we dont go there often. $4 for a diet Coke, no refill. Beer selection is limited. They dont even have the beer thats on the shelf. Domestic beer was supposed to be $2.50 but apparently they dont classify Mich Ultra (which I settled for) as domestic. It was $3.50. The domestics they did have were in cans, even though they had bottles on display.

I celebrated my 49th birthday at Zonies last night! (well the start of it) 5-29!! AND ME AND MY DAUGHTERS HAD A BALL!! I love this place! The staff is friendly, the Entertainers are friendly and AWESOME!! I HIGHLY recommended this place to EVERYONE!!!

I went for my first time. Had a good time. Staff is friendly and clean little place with patio area for smoking. Most definitely will go back again. Entertainment is worth a visit.

It was fun watching the dancers and singers perform. I have kudos for the lady who appeared to be about six feet tall who did a cartwheel in heels and did a split, chiiiild I broke my ankle just walking in flats lol... I tipped each of them walking around but after a while it felt like I had to give money just for someone walking by in the same circle everyone was making I ran out of money fast with at least $2 a person Per song I didnt know how long the night would go on and there is an atm but it was bill time so I had to make sure I handled business first lol. It would have been more fun had I not gone alone but it was still nice I smiled the whole time. Id go back no problems here. Safe and fun entertainment and a nice staff.

Would have given it 5 stars but its a cash bar and and I didnt bring any cash.. atm is 3 bucks for them plus whatever my bank charges.. want to go there dressed up but wanted to check the place out first.. saw a totally gorgeous drag queen... makes me want to go back.. I dont think itll be an issue going back dressed up.. cant wait...

We had a BLAST! Happened to stumble upon Zonies on Google maps and SO happy we did... It was Drag show nite and those girls worked that tiny stage... Good atmosphere, cheap drinks, and no worries about the anti gay guy at the gay bar giving you the stink eye.Were in town for a few more weeks and well DEFINITELY be back to Zonies!

Bartenders and employees were really friendly! Drinks were delicious and pretty cheap. Mike really took care of us! We will definitely come back!

My very first time coming to this location and I had a lot of fun. I will definitely visit again the future. I felt safe and comfortable and didnt feel out of place for dressing up.

Well the this place is a meet my representative on the virgin experience then treat u like a bag of bounds on repeat business. I know bars id. I was in the night before and proposed to be married. The guy at the door was really rude on repeat business. I drove from Laffeyette in to Indy its about ab hour and 10 min drive. Well i dropped my wallet in Laffeyette on the way to my fun filed night didnt realize this happened until i was 5 minutes away from the bar when the laffayette police called and said hey found your wallet well i still had about 100$ cash on me so i was ok. And i tipped everyone really well. In fact i tipped more then i purchased. So off course they would remember me. Well right. Not the case here i dont understand how a person says oh yeah i remember u yesterday in here having fun and proposing. I know your old enough but because i know you arw having a shity day im going to make it suck even worse. You cant come in. So im defently not going back .

Great drinks best gay bar in town. Drag show featuring Alana Steele is the best in the Midwest. Bartenders/owners great and friendly.

Drag shows on weekends, lots of fun if you like that. They have a specialty drink called the blue tranny that is incredible!!!

Its a decent place to go if you want see some drag drinks are not too expensive its a good place to visit before going to Gregs
