Went for my birthday to take advantage of the birthday special they had and it was amazing! The owner Brandy even personally helped me get taken care of and she was so nice. And the staff is always wonderful too! Cant wait to come back !

Went there on Friday night and the bartender (guy with dark beard) had a very rude and unfriendly demeanor. As a server myself, I was shocked to see someone like that working in the service industry. The girl working the slushy stand though was awesome and so friendly!

I wanted to come here and give a huge shout out to the Patron Saint security team. My friend was having a seizure right outside of the bar after leaving last night. The moment we got her to the ground where she could be safe so she didn’t hurt herself, I ran over to security and asked for water. They brought out four waters, tracked down two officers, and kept checking on her. When she came to and said she needed something for her blood sugar and I went back to ask for something sugary, they immediately got a red bull. I have never seen concern or service like that in downtown Indy on a busy Saturday night. Shout out to Bird, the tall blondish guy with big eyes, and the tall man with twists in his hair. I wish I could have gotten all of your names. You are real life saints. I’ll be back, and the next time I see you all I’ll be giving you the biggest thank you. Give these men some serious raises.

Bartenders are quick and lots of promo happening on weekends. Make sure you check if its a hip hop night vs eDM night lol🤣 totally different crowd.

It was my first time at a night club experience in Indy. My boyfriend and I went there to have some good fun during the weekend and as usual the bathroom lines were long. My boyfriend is diabetic and needed to use the washroom and I needed to use it too. They have a pole that separates the people in the dance floor with the DJ. I saw a bunch of people walking in front of the pole to use the washroom or leave but when we decided to do so, because we were unable to contain ourselves and wanted to use the washroom, the white security guard in a yellow tank top with beard stopped us just by looking at us because we were a black and brown couple. So as a first timer in Indy at a bar which people highly recommend, I would say, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT. It is just a racist experience for me where they discriminated against us. The rest is up to you all. Thank you very much. I would not even pay a dollar to visit it anymore. In total along with drinks and cover charge we spent about 80 dollars that night.

I mean if you like hanging out in a studio apartment with 30+ other people its ok. But Im gonna have to pass. Over crowded, dance floor was tiny basically right up against the bar. People complaining if you actually used the dance floor to dance instead of stare at the dj. The upstairs was nice and the food was good although our waiter was more interested in his phone and his friends that popped up throughout the night. Door people were cool. Biggest negative was the bar staff on the main floor.

Dylan is the best at the side bar. Great team and great atmosphere. Good place to dance with friends and enjoy a good cocktail. Be prepared to dance.

I went for my birthday this past weekend and had a great time. The security is good too, someone was jumping around and kept hitting into my friend and they security asked them to calm down and they didnt so they made him leave. Was very respectful.

I came here for my 21st birthday. Cover was $10/person. The atmosphere was awesome. The bartender was super friendly and awesome at making me drinks when I asked her to just make me something “fruity.” People were super nice as well and it’s a great place to make friends! The DJ was also fantastic!

Fantastic music club with a distinct New Orleans vibe in downtown Indy. Perfect sound system for the venue, delicious cocktails including absinthe pours, and chill lounging areas. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Decent place for a late night drinking and dancing. The music was great and there was enough people.

They are crazy. Banged on THE BATHROOM door (which was inside their business) and threatened arrest because they thought they were negligent for not checking ID. Already inside… and freaked about an ID? Weird. Mind you we were already let in multiple times in the same night. If that doesn’t scream guilt from a business I don’t know what does.Response to question: Neither. I don’t know how I could be more clear about the situation.

Can be a little crowded, but the atmosphere and service at the bar are still top-tier. Great music, and the security is chill. Would reccomend.

I had a great time at the Patron Sight last night. Drinks were perfect and music was loud and good just like I like it.

This is a staple of DT Indianapolis. Great music, great crowd, security is on point, and if youre looking for a fun time.....get there before the line.

Visiting from Chicago, this place has a $20 cover and IT IS NOT worth it whatsoever. Very tiny place, nothing very special. There is a bar tender or bottle girl working that is extremely rude, not sure how/why she’s working there if she has no people skills. Only good thing was the dj. Over all.. not worth it 👎🏽

If you are black and you want to enjoy yourself at any bar, Do not…I repeat DO NOT spend your money here this is a Racist establishment.

This place was just awful, I’m ashamed to have wasted $20 just to walk into this place. It was giving high school party in someone’s basement vibes. The DJ was also terrible.

Byrd is the worst ever door man, he makes me never ever want to come back because he’s so dang rude everytime.

I have had too many bad experiences here overall. Dont recommend.

Got a section tonight and the service was amazing it was very clean the server was very attentive and will defiantly be back soon

The service and the atmosphere at Patron Saint are unreal! All of the bartenders were super friendly and the DJs always kill it. The owners are there all the time and are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend dropping in on a night out and experiencing this unique and fun side of Indy!

Horrible service !! I have been here three times and have never had a good experience. The first time. The denied me re entry to get my jacket from where I left it. And told me to come back the next day . Second time they automatically added gratuity without consent. Disregarding their bad attention/disrespect! Today, we decided to give it another shot because it’s convenient. Well, after ordering 4 shots and tipping 15 dollars.I asked for a WATER and I was denied a water and told to get it from the bathroom sink. That’s my experience with this bar. Love it or hate it. I’m not with the disrespect towards customers! Good luck

I love this place on Wednesday nights the weekend crowd can get a bit out of hand but they cant control peoples attitudes the staff are helpful and very friendly

I love The Patron Saint and The Saint Shack. The employees are kind and understanding, the other customers are usually respectful. The best thing about this place are the people who work security. They have a knack for recognizing and removing problem visitors before they become a markedly huge problem. The new Orleans feel to the place is both decorative and fun. And again, the employees put the safety of the customers above all else. 10/10 with the full intention to continue going when I can. Btw, I absolutely afore The Hooligang. Very loving caring group of people, kindly orga ized by High-rise Hooligan and Mrs. Hooligan. A wonderful couple who produce nothing bit kindness and acceptance.

Needed a bar in indy to go to with friends for the weekend with good house music and the patron saint ticked the boxes! 20$ was a little steep for entry in my opinion but the music and atmosphere was great! i knew i picked a good one when they played a song by one of my favorite house artist 🤍

I’ve been other times but recently went for my birthday and the vibes never let me down!

Went to this place on Saturday with a group of friends and immediately entering got groped by a man when I was waiting for my drink at the bar. Then later on another girl and I were dancing near the DJ and the same guy and a group of four of his friends started grabbing us again in view of everyone (including security) and no one came to help us and some people even laughed while they watched us scream at these guys and tried to push them away. After this we decided to leave. We saw security was finally kicking these people out but it was too late. If you want to be around a lot of predatory men and neglected by security this is the place for you.

Amazing Time Definitely Need Heaters Out Front When Its Cold & At Capacity While We Wait.

Last night was the first time I had visited this bar. I was at a bar across the street and one of the other patrons talked about going to the Saint and how cool it was so we decided to join them! The bar is located in the basement of the building. It has a dark and vaguely swanky but sparse decor. The music the DJ was playing was great and I was having a blast on the dance floor. Other patrons were kind and respectful. (Ladies know what I mean... some bars dancing areas are very aggressive and gropey but that wasnt the vibe here.)My night took a turn for the worse when I realized my friend had way too much to drink and wasnt feeling well. I left her with my other friend to get my car so I could take her home.When I got back to pick her up she was being helped leave the bar by a bar tender. Literally a tiny brunette bar tender was carrying her up the stairs like a fireman. We helped her into my car and there were multiple other employees present offering us water and other necessities. Everyone was checking on us to make sure my friend was OK.I got my friend home and shes fine... but we realize her phone is missing. We all assumed it was stolen :/ the next day someone from the bar called and said they had found it in the bathroom and would meet up to give it back to her.So anyways, I guess I wrote all this just because I was very touched by how caring everyone in that bar was last night. Everyone that saw someone who needed help offered it. I was really enjoying myself there until my friend got sick so I want to go back another time for sure :) and mgmt please commend that tiny brunette bar tender she was a rock star.

What Indianapolis needs! A creative New Orleans style vibe with great cocktails, great music/sound system/dancing vibe late night. There are themes each day of the week. The staff overall is awesome! The bar staff knows how to mix and create some pretty stiff drinks! get there early in the night otherwise there will be a wait at the door!

Was here last night 4/13/23 until 3am visiting Indiana from Philadelphia PA. Great underground club great time all chill people. Thanks for the memories will definitely visit again

My save Sunday nite spot since my off days are sun Mon at work. The bouncer Scott rocks, the bartenders are friendly and the best part is the music as the trio of DJs that spin the dance & hip hop jams keep me coming back weekly. Love it!!

This hidden gem is my new favorite! It has so much character in the New Orleans, voodoo lounge style decor. It’s the perfect makeover for this cozy basement bar. I also love the more intimate bottle service rooms. Paired up with some of the best DJs and bar staff in town. It’s sure to be a good time.

Ventured out my first time in Indiana and stumbled across this gem. The House music made me feel right at home, just like Miami. Dustin, the bartender was amazing and charged my phone so I would be able to call an Uber home. Overall my experience was amazing and I had so much fun dancing!! I highly recommend this bar to anyone that enjoys music and likes to have a good time!

An eclectic atmosphere with an off the strip Vegas club vibe. Danced all night. A lot of fun every time I visit.

Absolutely massive sound coming from what feels a bit like a college basement. The Patron Saint delivers an unforgettable experience every time you visit. Excellent music selection by Slater Hogan and Nick Samaro. Thursdays are an escape from the Indianapolis norm of top 40 drudgery into the wild nights that only house music can provide. If there is any bar that could change the Indianapolis music scene forever, certainly it would be The Patron Saint.Excellent and kind staff. They feel like a family rather than bartenders. Need to charge your phone? No problem!For anyone who is going to attend, be prepared to dance all night!

Bartenders need to be more attentive to people waiting to be serviced. Sometimes theyre pretty quick, other times Ive waited almost 10 minutes to even be addressed while others around me received service immediately. Tip: Even when its busy, just look around every few minutes and address any new people you see at the bar. Youll probably get tipped way better

Dustin is seriously a great bartender. He takes care of his customers and the bar is a safe place to drink because of him and the rest of the staff. Their drinks are pretty cheap, their atmosphere is great, and again, their staff is amazing. 10 of 5 stars for sure.

Omg no, I went there on Halloween weekend and this place is was filthy!! There was a $30 cover and the dance floor was like the basement of a frat house 🤢 idk how they think they can allow that many people in such a tiny space, people were constantly shoving pushing and practically dancing on top of each other ewwww no just no so disgusting and scary at the same timeTwo stars because at least the music was decent and most the employees were nice

What a breath of fresh air for the downtown nightlife scene. Reasonable drinks and really friendly bartenders attracts a pleasant crowd. I have been very impressed with the musical talent/DJs that the Saint/Kid brings in and there is no other venue that matches the vibe.

Favorite spot in Indy by far. The vibe is always great no matter what day you show up. Even if I dont intend to, I always end up dancing the whole night and staying way past my bedtime. Absinthe fountain, patron on tap, friendly staff, and best DJs playing weekly shows. What more could you want??

One of my favorite bars in Indy! The space isnt the largest around, but the decor and the people who work and DJs booked there make up for it. They provide a space for monthly underground music nights such as La Petite Mort and Transcension. Dustin is great and was super kind to me on my 21st, he makes me a cocktail that no one else seems to get right haha. They often dont charge cover for great music and the people who work there run things to where there is quite a family feel on nights where it isnt packed. I was able to go out to one of their music events alone as a woman and felt completely safe.

It feels like you aren’t in Indianapolis once you walk down the stairs. It’s your own personal vacation. Expect different music from metal to house to top 40. Great selection of alcohol that you won’t find anywhere else in the city. Oh and did I mention they have Patron on tap.

Saw my first show here Friday night. I paid 30$ for a ticket to get in. I asked a bouncer about pass outs for a smoke break and he said no problem. Tried to go back in and was told I wasnt allowed and they were shutting down in 5 minutes, it wasnt even 2:30 and the club is open til 3am, music was clearly still playing. What a joke! I waited 10 minutes and told the bouncer I still heard music... This place is just open and already making enemies. The electronic scene in indy sucks and I was really hopeful this place would turn it around but what a terrible first impression, talk to your bouncers about how business works...

Where do I start? Is it the absinthe, the staff, the music, the creepy doll eyeballing people secretly from the ceiling... this place rocks! From programming styles across the genres including Metal, Motown to house & techno the music will always keep you happy! Open 7 days a week so you can always shake your hangover from the night before :)

Hands down the best bar/nightclub in Indy. RAD atmosphere with solid jams. Cool bartenders/service staff too. Highly recommend it.

Smaller than I thought. Dj was good but the fire alarm went off and they didnt evacuate anyone. Its 2022. We should know better.

Watched an overly aggressive door guy blindsided a guy for trying to make sure his girl was OK. Ridiculous. Definitely decided to go somewhere else after that.

Currently I consider this to be the best downtown bar. The range of events are great and the owners are very awesome people.
