Everything was excellent. The live band was to die for little wonder after I found out the drummer played on the Jay Leno show. The guitar player was very, very good. The waitresses were very attentive, and the food was superb. We had a wonderful time, oh yeah, the drinks were the top of the line, I cant wait to go back

Great people at the bar and behind it. Its clean, quiet and amazing. Such a great place to pregame before the game or concert. You have to visit!

What a warm and welcoming experience! Marsha (owner), Tebereh and Myna showed us nothing less than beautiful smiles, amazing cuisine and tasty cocktails. We were in town from the East coast, and learned of this establishment from another musician. My husband and I had a amazing time, and he even got to jump in the drums even though he’s a touring bassist/composer. The food was good, but the music was fantastic!

Visiting from Maryland with my mom and brother! We wanted to hear some live jazz and stumbled upon a gem. The live jazz was absolutely amazing and service was awesome. We felt so welcome when we entered. I will be returning the next time I visit!

Popped in following the Rams, Eagles game and was very pleasantly surprised.Good selection of beers and food. Served by efficient fast staff who seem to enjoy their work.The Atmosphere was great with the jazz/soul musicians creating a good Ambiance.It just proves that you should not believe everything you are told. As a visitor to L.A. I was advised not to walk from Sofi stadium and to get out of Inglewood with all speed. Complete RUBBISH. I felt comfortable and safe walking from the Stadium to the Lavender Blue and spent more than a couple of hours relaxing in the Lounge completely at ease. I would definitely recommend this place for drinks,music and atmosphere.

Stumbled upon this awesome venue after a football game, while waiting for traffic to die down. What a great little place, with the added bonus of incredible live jazz! Small menu, but the shrimp basket was great!

Was here for a repast. The food tasted like whomever made it didnt care. The ladies who served were polite but no personality. The overall atmosphere, well if it wasnt for the family, I would have walked out as soon as I walked in. It is an older establishment, that could use some sprucing.

I took my friend from ATL there. She raved about the service and atmosphere. The hostess(daughter) and chef (mother) owner came out to speak and greet. The plates were delicious. Ill go back. Service and friendship go a long way.

I have a good time when I come here, the staff is pretty cool with the exception of the bartenders. The music is very good plenty of songs to dance ave chair bop to.

Small place, good food. Decent service and prices. Urban Jazz band was really good just the odd hours the band plays not good for date nights more for single girls night out.

Nice place to hang out with friends. Nice atmosphere with DJ and live music. The food was pretty good and not too pricey. I had the Catfish plate and was satisfied. There is a old school crowd until about 10pm. All in all I had a good time and would go again.

I was at this venue on the 9th for a funeral repass service and was horribly disappointed to the point I left within 30 minutes. It was hot and stuffy, the food was like play dough and the staff was rude to the point of refusing cups of ice claiming that “people was sneaking in alcohol in the past”. Keep in mind this is an event for MOURNING FAMILY MEMBERS! the amount of money this grieving family spent to use this space for 3 hours is disgusting! Especially considering the environment was so unpleasant everyone left within an hour! ZERO STARS!

Met up with a friend on a Sunday evening . It is my understanding that Lavender Blue opens at 6pm.Had a good time. Clean bathroom, personable staff, dancing floor, nice small menu, good prices, and good drinks. It is my understanding that certain nights have a theme. Such as Soul Food Night. Call ahead for the theme nights , opening and closing times. Nice seating areas. Parking is on the street ,limited parking on the site. Note: Across the street ,there is public parking. This Friday horrible experience. If I paid $13 for fried chicken and couldnt eat it tut. The chicken was cooked in old grease that still had the smell and taste of burnt on it. Need more Waitresses.I had a great time dancing.

The pictures shown is not what it looks like now. Not even near that elegant anymore. It was 1st owned by an African gentleman that brought elegance and class to the neighborhood but apparently could not attract American people in the area. It was strictly a restaurant that you could also reserved for private weddings and parties. It was absolutely beautiful. Something you expected to see in Beverly Hills. An African american woman own it currenly and it does NOT appear beautiful anymore. The decor is mediocre, absolutely nothing special about it anymore. Just a basic juke joint now. They serve little snacks (fried chic wings, fish n chips) but you better order before 8pm because I dont think they want to make any money, or just not concerned about pleasing their customers because they shut the kitchen down at 8pm.They do have special events periodically that I have attended on occasion that were enjoyable but it seems they are very unorganized and unprofessional.

It was nice the vibe was great. The big security guard needs to relax a bit. Hes gonna run the party goers off. Happy New Year

I attended a White Affair fundraiser for the American Legion Auxiliary Jackie Robinson Post 252. I usually go on Sunday evenings when they have a live band. The food is good.

Im sorry I did not love it well it got one good star and thats because the drinks was good however to get the drinks I had to wait a whole 30 minutes to catch a waitress. Then the next thing was she had kind of an attitude because I wanted to order some food I ordered my food and waited for an hour and 45 minutes. I couldnt believe it she gave me the check before she gave me my food I didnt get that part.

We use to go to the Cork but it closed down from losing their liquor license from my understanding. We were trying to find another place to get our groove on. However, this place seems to cater to private parties and isnt really a dance club or lounge but more like a limited restaurant. They had a decent dance area. The menu was shallow. The music was good for old school which is in our age group. Some hole in the wall clubs are good and this one has potential however were still looking. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Great place to meet new friends and greet old ones. Nice atmosphere for Happy hour, Taco Tuesday, birthday parties, holiday partues, comedy shows, cocktails. Female and Black Owned business. Marsha stays in the kitchen to be sure that fried chicken and mac n cheese is on hit.

I was hear to check the place out due to a wine tasting and we are introducing a new product. I love the ambiance, the music and energy of the people that are coming in, the sever is very nice and we just found out shes the daughter of the owner. The chicken wings that we had is the Best chicken Ive ever hadz it taste fresh and properly cooked and I love the rub on the skin of the chicken. I highly reccomenf this place

I was there for a comedy show and had a really good time. The club have 2 sides as you come in.. the show was to the left and another sitting area to the right with a bar located in the middle.It appeared that you could rent this venue for your event or special occasion. The night I was there the production company holding the event seem to have their own staff that prepared the food, so Im not certain if they have their own staff or not. Again I think its more of a hall that you can rent. At any rate the venue was set up nicely and had adequate space. The stage area was the perfect size for our comedy.. which made it intimate yet obvious it was a stage with goood lightening on the stage and minimal light on the audience.Parking can be a bit tricky. The Lavender Blue, from what I could see had a small parking lot with maybe 12 spots.. Which were all taken upon my arrival, however I did get lucky and found a spot on the street directly across the street. There is street parking on both sides of the street. But if youre going you may want to get there on time or a bit early.One more thing to note.. on the night I was there the Forum was having an event and made traffic a nightmare. Just plan your escape in the event there is something at the Forum that night.Overall I must say that I truly enjoyed my night at the Lavender Blue.

Great music and drink service but don’t expect them to abide by the hours posted. Courtesy of SoFi stadium being absolutely terrible at ride share we opted to walk to the nearest bar. It was 8:45, hours said until 10 but by 8:55 they told anyone entering they were closed. By 9:20 they asked everyone to leave. We had been trying to request an Uber or Lyft nonstop since we arrive to no avail and then were stuck standing on the curb as they locked the building behind us at 9:20.It’s not their fault SoFi is poorly built for transportation but I wish we wouldn’t have been forced to stand on the curb for over 40 minutes when they are posted to be open that entire time.

Went with my husband for super bowl and I must say we had a nice time. Not a real big crowd but that didnt matter I was only focused on my honey. Very classy spot.

Had my wedding reception here. It was wonderful. They worked with me on what I could afford and they went out of their way to make our day special. The food was great and the service was great. Real talk.

Very nice lounge. I went for my cousins retirement party and the staff was very nice. The VIP area was nicely decorated and the food was pretty good. I had a great time. Really well made drinks.

Fish and spaghetti were delicious! Banana cake was just a tad bit dry, but had good flavor. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

Went here for a private event and was great. What a great place to rent for private parties at a minimal cost. Food was good too.

I wish I was able to give this place no stars!!! We had a catered event at this place and the service was awful!!! First off they only had two servers and they were rude and lazy. Secondly they tried to hide and put the food up an hour into our six hour window. Third they wouldnt give us any ice!!!! If you want somewhere nice to hold a social event this is not the place!!!

Its Sunday nite and the variety of music and musicians is INCREDIBLE!! Definitely the place for your soul, ears and food to match. Id be doing an injustice to try to d3scribe this in words. But if you like bebop, soul jazz, Boogaloo, blues - there is NO better than I know of - and trust me, Ive got a little bit of experience. Congratulations to both music host/guitarist Jacques Lesure and Roland, the owner.

Price is too high but a very lovely place to go to has multi sections flat screen TVs some of the bartenders are very lovely and nice so Im a little bit work to be done for and the food Decatur is pretty good

O really enjoy this place. If you are old school theres a Juke Box, theres live bands, and the woman in charge, is Very beautiful and kind. I even had my 50th birthday here, what more can I say,Lavender Blue I remember deja blue. She following you Ms Marsha.

A good location to go out and have a great time. I usually go through n Wednesday night to do some Chicago Stepping and Detroit Ballroom dancing. Omar teaches Chicago Stepping there Wednesday nights.

Went last night for a blues concert and the service was horrible. They had 1 lady taking orders and I waited over 2 hours to get my drink.

A very nice jazz hang out. There was an assortment of finger food, which were delicious, and menu items. Handicapped parking is very limited.

Very good live entertainment, however, every time weve been there the place seems to be over crowded and there doesnt seem to have a good air conditioning system.

Went ther e for Inglewood Business Association Power Breakfast. The Lavender Blue was beautifully decorated and clean.

I was looking to host a party here,but their website doesnt exist. So,I tried Yelp and they had contact information for this venue,so I called and left a message. Its been over a week and I STILLL havent heard from anyone!

Ive never known about this place. I went for a baby shower. It is very spacious for all types of events.
