Massage Green SPA

Had a terrible experience with this Spa! My husband and I have both been members for almost one year. Suddenly, our membership was canceled by the manager unexpectedly and without any explanation. We were told that the massage therapist had not received any of our tips that we had been leaving at the front desk or on her bed, which we ALWAYS did. They were probably stolen. I spoke with the owner and also the manager and was told this information.I would not recommend this massage spa whatsoever. Very unprofessional!

I went here because I was gifted a gift card, The massage was not good- so light pressure I got no benefit/relief. Then they would not take my gift card because they said they are location-specific but there’s no way to know that. He told me it was expired but when another location looked it up it was not. Just overall not a good experience.

I LOVE IT!!! I have gone many times and have had INCREDIBLE massages each time. I do not make it a regular thing but each time I have gone due to carrying alot of stress in my shoulders and have come out feeling like a new person. I highly recommend Matt he attended to the areas that need the attention and gave me suggestions to help in preventing the muscle tension. Remodeling has taken place and it is so inviting and over all beautiful! The atmosphere is so relaxing and each time I am on the verge of sleep. I would HIGHLY recommend this spa and Matt!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Wonderful experience! I am in Jacksonville to take care of someone doing a program at the Mayo clinic. Was given a gift card to get some relaxing time for me!! Had an appointment with Javier on saturday. He was wonderful. Gave a good relaxing massage which i asked for. Cant say enough good about him. He was very good.Had another hour with Kim this morning. WOW! she was amazing. I asked for a good, deep body massage with emphasis on my sinus and face. I cant said wow enough. She was excellent and gave me an excellent massage. If i lived here, i would be making an appointment weekly! Thank you so much. If ever here again, I will be back

My go to for massage! Ive been a customer here for years. Absolutely love the staff & Kimberly and Kay are my go tos for massage! Hot stones, deep tissue, cupping & more. They really take the time to customize youre massage to your needs. I have hip & shoulder pain & between massage and infrared sauna, I get the relief I need. I even managed to refer a friend! Not to mention getting my other half to come in too. They offer plenty of other services too. Easy to find, in the shopping Plaza at Hodges and Butler. When you find a place you love, you stay!

Matt was the best!! He has an amazingly calm demeanor and is great at the deep pressure massages! I’m a hairstylist and hold a lot of attention in my neck, shoulders and back and after just my first session with Matt, I felt a huge relief :) can’t wait for my next appointment with him!!!I 10/10 recommend trying the infrared sauna treatment for circulation- this brings the relief to next level!Also special shout out to the front desk for always answering my one million questions

Ive been going to Massage Green for years and am happy to be one of their long term clients. Ive been helped by many talented Massage Therapists including ones who relievd a lot of my knee pain and got my knee going again, plus more. I refer many to them. Ive also taken advantage of the sauna! Great local small business!

Great massage, but I only came here because I was given a $75 gift card (which on the back says This Massage Green Spa gift card is redeemable at any Massage Green Spa location) but because the gift card was purchased at a different location, they wouldnt accept it. Plenty of spas offer great massages without the shady business practices. Dont come here.

I had my first massage in years with Jen this week and after having so much stress and travel impacting my neck, shoulders and lower back, I can HIGHLY recommend Jen for relief and professionalism. She was very attentive to my sore spots, knots and other areas where my tension stores, and I felt so much better that I will join Massage Greens monthly plan. Cant wait to try a facial! Thank you, Jen - you have magic hands!

I have been going here for quite sometime. The staff is friendly and accommodating when I want to book two sessions back to back. However I love Dominique! I was bummed when she left last year but she came back! She is one of the estheticians there that I have been going too since I bought a membership many moons ago. She is sooo gentle that she puts me to sleep everytime. Snoring and everything 🤣😴. Its very relaxing when I book a session with her. She will evaluate your skin and recommend what you need for ur next booking. She is great.

Had my very first massage there on 03/10/2024. The room was dim, and I loved the ocean sounds softly playing. My massage therapist was Lala. She was incredible! Our talk was about where to focus. She asked me during if the pressure was ok. I appreciate her consideration and kindness. The hot towel, hot stones and eucalyptus scent truly made it an incredibly relaxing experience. So much so, that I signed up for a membership and booked with Lala again in 2 weeks.There was some confusion though when signing up for the membership. Online, it makes it sound that the massage/facial/sauna membership would INCLUDE all 3 each month, and any additional would be at the membership rate. The girl at the front desk seemed confused and said no, that Id just get one of them each month, then anything extra would be at the membership rate. If Im right, please educate the staff. If Im wrong, please word that better on the website.

Terrible massage experience. My massage therapist was nice, so I’m not going to go too much and depth on a review. But from the massage being half done it felt like to paying for a 90 minute and not receiving the proper amount of time… this spot just isn’t it. To the point that I had to book another massage for tomorrow elsewhere. it’s like she felt the knots I had, and then just went around them. Which caused more tension in my body.The reason I gave it two stars was because of the receptionist

Please do not come here for a couples day out. I’ve been to the location in Fruit Cove and they understood the assignment very well - I love it there. Also interested in doing a facial? Save your money and go to an actual company that specializes in facials. I left out the same way I came in ….. make that make sense :/

I got my first massage ever here at this location with EMMA. I was in absolute paradise. She gave me a full body massage. Price is extremely fair. Emma made me feel comfortable and rejuvenated. I felt/ heard popping and crunching all over, no pain at all, but I knew I needed a good massage, and she was working out all the knots. Not one part of my body is tight anymore. The only thing I wish, was that the massage was 4 hours long... HA. I will 100% be back to see Emma.

Don gave a great massage then I tried the infrared sauna. What an experience!Make sure you hydrate really well before and after...I promise you will sweat places you didnt know you could sweat from...head to toes! But, I felt great when I left.Thank you Massage Green Spa for a wonderful experience. Ill be back for sure!

What a phenomenal expierence I had with Gage and Erin. Gage gave a massage that incorperated various levels of pressure, stretching, and worked out all the spots. Erin who was my esthetitician was professional, analyzed my skin and helped figure out a course to rectify my issues. I loved my expierence so much I even bought a giftcard for a girlfriend of mine to come try them out! Recomend 10/10

I have been going to massage green for a while now and have recently started getting facials. I cannot rave enough about Dominique! Her customer care, her knowledge and her fantastic personality have made each experience perfect. As I am learning about skin care, Dominique explains the processes to me and gives me tips for home skin care as well. She is so smart and funny and makes getting a facial relaxing and enjoyable!

My Boyfriend and I enjoyed a nice couples massage here. We loved every min. It was his first time and now he cant wait to go back. The therapist were great and the front desk staff were amazing. They were wonderful helping me over the phone and the whole process was easy. It was also very affordable. I will def come back next time I am in the area.

I have used this Massage Green for years. I have had success with most therapists but definitely had my favorites. The therapists have always welcomed my feedback during massages and accommodated accordingly; however, I rarely need to say anything once I give them my desired pressure. They are good about following the lead (talk or no talk) when you’re on the table. This is a clean and friendly place. I have never felt uncomfortable. I am closing out my account because I live closer to St Augustine. I will really miss Don and Ashley B. I will probably be back and visit.

I received the worst massage of my life from one of the male therapists (I think Don?) He was very nice but really had no idea what he was doing. I came in in significant pain and left in tears without any relief. Considering how high the prices are this was really unacceptable and I was so disappointed after seeing all the positive reviews.

I was gifted a 1-hour massage and I only received a 40 minute massage at most. The masseuse never dimmed down the lights. She never inquired if I was feeling good or if the services were good at the time being. After my massage was over I still tipped her as natural protocol, however the manager who was running the desk at the front asked if I wanted to tip and I said yes. I provided a different car that was used for the booking for the tip, then I asked for a receipt which the receipt was to be emailed. Upon A checking my account an hour later I noticed they charged me for the full massage and I had to contact them again to remind them that my car was only to be charged for the tip only not for the actual service. needless to say I will not be attending again.

Rachel was PHENOMENAL!!! I am in Jacksonville on vacation and my boyfriend got me a 1 hour full body massage along with the Infrared heat therapy. I feel so relaxed, lite, loose and wonderful. Rachel was very knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. She was very attentive to all of my needs. She a great example of what world class customer service is and she is definitely a master of her craft! Thank you adding that extra much needed part to my vacation. Ill definitely be back when I return to Jacksonville. Nice clean facility with very friendly and professional staff.

My favorite go to massage spot. Love the ambience as you wait, friendly staff that make check in and out easy. Ashley B is amazing for massages! Ive had a membership for over a year now. Pleased every time whether I need deep tissue, Swedish, or a combination. Ive had other massage therapists that are also good. I save facials for a different spa due to preference. Online check in is so easy here too makes the whole process start to finish a breeze.

I am have had the pleasure of not only being employed by but actually knowing her I must say I was impressed when meeting her , so much I was anxious for an opportunity with her business. She is nothing short of amazing. From her caring conversation to her many years of experience in the business. I have never seen her unpleasant. She is truly a wonderful woman. The spa itself is absolutely the best Ive worked with. Great staff, great prices, & great energy! I strive to follow in her footsteps & be the best possible person everyday. This was exactly what I needed. I feel amazing after this wonderful experience. The ladies at the front desk were very sweet. It was kinda busy, but that didnt change the great customer service. I melted into the couch in the waiting room. The decor is comforting and relaxing. Carla was my therapist, and she is extremely good at her job, and she has such a soothing energy. For my first time here, it exceeded my expectations and then some. I definently recommend this place.

By far the BEST massage spa I have been to and Ive been receiving massages for over 10 years. The atmosphere is AMAZING and I finally found therapists that will give me the really deep tissue massage that I need. Ive been to a few different therapists at Massage Green and each one has listened to my needs. It is GREAT to finally have a place that provides me the massages I need and want that is both comfortable and professional. Ive also had my daughter going there (she is 16) and the therapists are wonderful with her too!!! Not to mention the pricing is by far the best in Jacksonville. My wife encouraged me to try their new Infrared Sauna because I am recovering from knee surgery and I have a long way to go for my recovery. Also, Ive had a few other surgeries in the past several years so I havent been able to exercise regularly. The temperature was set to 140F and the time set was 40 minutes...after ten minutes I began to sweat. In twenty minutes I was pouring out sweat...I drank water during the treatment and ended up staying in for 35 minutes. I felt relaxed and drained...in a good way! Went home and ate and rested...slept like a baby. I felt like I ran 50 miles! This morning I feel great! Im going to continue using this treatment to supplement my recovery. Thanks Massage Green!

I just had a wonderful massage from Cindy at Massage Green on Hodges and Butler. This is my third or fourth visit to Massage Green and the second time Ive had the pleasure of having Cindy as my massage therapist. She has an extremely valuable background shes, shes a pleasant conversation list and shes an exceptional therapist. The staff at the front desk also our first class. I would recommend Massage Green very highly.

I have been coming here for over a year and going a great therapist. However every time i bought a package it was confusing and i would have go thru an act of Congress to get it straight. The therapist was awesome and since i loved the therapist i continued to come and just deal with it. After today i will NEVER return! I called yesterday to make sure i had my credits and spent 20 min on the phone getting it right. Once it was right i booked my 90 min massage. When i finished today and began checking out the young girl at the register was beyond rude with me, talked over me, cut me off in midsentence, belittled me and then told me to get our of the store after telling me she is owners daughter and has worked her way up from the ground to general manager. I have never encountered something like this in a business! I lost a 90 min massage and will be calling the owner on Monday!I would NEVER recommend these people!!!

While my massage was one of the best Ive received, my reception was one of the worst. I was not well informed while booking my appointment and caught off guard upon arrival for my appointment, once there was no way for me to fix the situation. The person at the front desk happened to be the general manager of the spa and after explaining to her what happened she told me that the girl who booked the appointment is fairly new and has probably never dealt with this particular situation before. So instead of using the already paid for credits on my account for my boyfriends massage, he was forced to pay out of pocket because their employee was new. The general manager was being argumentative, slightly condescending, and did NOTHING to try to resolve my inconvenience, which was caused my her employee.

Hands down the best place I’ve found for a relaxing massage. We’ve been coming here for over a year, at least 3 different massage therapists and not one bad experience. The prices are very fair especially if you sign up for a membership. Emma is our favorite and all of the staff including the front desk is always polite and accommodating. Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s located in a shopping plaza, I’d pick this spot over a lot of the higher end spas at the beaches and ponte vedra.

I absolutely love everything about Massage Green off of Hodges! As soon as you walk in the receptionist are polite and friendly and the waiting area is so relaxing and cozy. I got a facial and 1 hour massage and they were both phenomenal!! I highly recommend this spa for a great day of relaxation

I just saw Lauren for a facial and now Im all glowy and dewy and radiant! She was awesome and was a wealth of information on not only skin care, but also holistic wellness in general. She was sweet and bubbly and answered all of my questions! Ill be seeing her every month from now on, and cant wait to come in for a massage in two weeks!

From the minute I walked in the door to when I walked out - everything was incredible! The atomosphere was very calming and the staff was amazing. Carla really listened to the areas of focus I requested. By far the best massage I’ve ever had. Definitely will be coming back and referring friends! Thank you!

My only complaint about Massage Green is that they are so far from home! The support staff here is great and Tony is amazing! I have been using massage therapy for years as a component of my pain management, and I have never found a therapist as gifted or dedicated to helping people. I have already returned once, and will continue each, and every time I am in Jacksonville.

Excellent experience! Beautiful facility, friendly staff. I signed up for the monthly subscription about 6 months ago and havent had a bad massage. I am particularly pleased with Juan. He is quite skilled and attentive.

My experience was not a good one. I went there for the introductory offer - the therapist was ok, but I had asked for a deeper massage. I was not given someone who could do that. Plus, about 20 minutes into the massage, the music completely went off. I asked the therapist about the music and she said that she did not know what happened. Then another 10 minutes went by and still no music. So, I was there for the remaining time with dead space. It was very awkward. When the massage was completed, I exited and went out front to leave. I asked the front desk about the music being off. One of the therapists that was sitting there forgot that the music had been knocked off by the electricity. There was nothing else mentioned. I will not return there. Seemed unprofessional although the building was nicely furnished. The lack of atmosphere in the room ruined the experience for me.

Ive been a member for almost a year. Me and my wife love it for the price we pay. Trudy is a hands on owner and the front desk staff are always sweet as pie. For deep tissue lets cut to the chase, Tony has 15 years experience and gets the knots out of focused areas instead of your normal 50 min fluff n buff. Christian, Shay and Don are also good.

Horrible experience. I booked the session made a 12:00 pm appointment. Went to the wrong location (San Jose) tried to call (Hodges) phone line busy. Went up there receptionist told me I couldn’t reschedule when I tried and would have to opt for a 30 min massage without the foot scrub but she said she’ll give me some to take home. Ok. Massage was rushed and rough and I never got my foot scrub. Receptionist Taylor was rude. Will never go back. I’ll stick with Massage Envy.

I have gone to this establishment 3 times for relief of a trigger point under my scapula and each time I have been disappointed. I have only gone back out of convenience and made sure not to have the same therapist. My 2nd visit the therapist ran her elbow up and down my spine and when responding it was painful, she did it again. She also was up on the table and stretching me back in a cobra position which did not help anything at all. My most recent visit I really did like the therapist and she was great with pressure, however, she focused more on the traps and muscles surrounding the scapula. So, I have no relief for scapula at all. I called to see if they would try to rectify the situation and the front desk staff asked Okay, so what do you want me to do about it. I would not recommend going here unless you like to waste your money and time.

Just left my 90 minutes massage with Rachael and she was soooo unbelievably amazing!!! Literally the best massage I have ever had she relieved my back pain and I feel amazing. I don’t often get massages because I have been disappointed in the past but now I know where to go when I’m in need. BEST Massage EVER!! Thank you Rachael!!

This is by far not the closest spa to my house but I will be going here EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Javier is a great massage therapist with great energy and I love going to Lauren for my facials! Excellent staff from the time you walk in to the time you leave. I will be joining their membership bc I am SO IMPRESSED!!!!

Don’t go here unless you want to get ripped off. I had an appointment for a couples massage which I forgot about and my account was charged for 2 massages as a result. The management staff was so Nonchalant about the situation even after I informed her I was closing my membership because of it.They would rather lose my business then to adjust the amount even to one charge versus two.

A nice little getaway from the hustle of everyday life. A relaxing setting in the waiting room. Lauren, my licensed esthetician, was simply lovely. Such friendly and knowledgeable employees. The peaceful setting made my day.

I had an unplanned 4 mile run Im the morning, the most Ive done is 3.5. My legs and lower back were killing me and I had crossfit later that night. I called them up and checked if they had someone available for a sports therapy massage. They were able to get me in right away! I felt great after and had no issues that evening with stiffness or cramping. Definitely will be a repeat customers for aches and pains!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I don’t remember their names (maybe Kylie? Kaylee? And I think Randy and Jolene, but not sure) but they were all wonderful. Definitely recommend.

Another GREAT massage at Massage Green Spa on Hodges Blvd at JTB.I would strongly suggest Joanna for your next massage appointment! Once a month I visit her for a deep tissue massage! I always leave feeling Great!Joanna Rocks! And the team at Massage Green Spa Rock as well!

They are so reasonably priced! They are open until 9pm so you can get a massage after work. You can usually get same day appointments. They do couples massages. And they honor veterans with a discount.

Connor did an awesome deep tissue. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Could have used a cover on the eyes during the massage when facing the ceiling.

I used to love going to this place for years but cancelled my membership recently due to sketchy business practices. There are other good massage companies in town that deserve the business.

Zach is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. If you’ve been in accident or have an injury due to sports, he’s the one you want to call to rehab the injury.

My spine is bruised from a deep tissue massage. Also the bottom of the shoulder blades and top of my hip. I called to see what they would do about it and was met with argument. I wont be back nor do I recommend going here
