I booked a massage based off a gift card Id been given by my husband for Mothers Day. I havent gotten a massage in probably 15 years, and was needing a bit more background knowledge as to how to go about selecting a timed massage with an elevation. I explained my modesty, my sensory issues, and my overall lack in wanting to be touched. I felt a bit guilty because of this, but Annie (at the front desk) and Amanda (my massage therapist) were super kind and reassuring along the way. Because of my anxiety in the process of receiving a massage, Amanda engaged in conversation with me throughout the process, answering questions over my general curiosity with the profession. We talked about our children, and I noted she did not beak my periods of relaxation until I instigated the conversation. She gave me gentle reminders to breathe when I failed to notice I was holding my breath. She worked difficult areas and educated me on ways to correct my stance or hold so that I could minimize the pain in the same area going forward. For example, Ive had pain in my right hand and wrist since October due to a fall in my inclined driveway. Id failed to mention this to her because its just become part of my daily grind, but she found it. She worked diligently on my right hand and wrist; I cant believe the difference. I didnt even know I could go pain free in that hand. Just figured it was a part of getting older. Needless to say, Im becoming a member through Annie to book a massage monthly with Amanda. They were excellent to work with. I spoke briefly to Annie after my massage about the membership program, and she introduced me to Brie in the process. We had an enjoyable conversation about feedback, so Im leaving this feedback for all of those ladies (Amanda, Annie, and Brie) to see! Thanks for helping this awkward toddler-mom out! She clearly understands the science of massage therapy and her explanation for a particular method/approach was lights out the best.1st experience: Of the two locations, this one has a more experienced crew it seems and Shari has 31 years of massage therapy experience so shes at the pro level. And everyone here are just good good people!

I initially signed up for a membership the end of August. I was charged a $39.99 sign up fee that i was told i wouldnt be charged. Roughly a month later my monthly fee was deducted from my bank account it was $10 more than i was told it would be at the time of sign up. I called massage heights at least 5 times to try to get a refund. every time i spoke with someone i was told a manager needed to approve the refund and of course a manager was never there so they told me they were leaving a note so the manager would call me. I never received a call and finally went in person to cancel the membership because clearly i am unhappy with the service i have received. I asked about my refund and was told once again they would leave a note for the manager. I am now doing a dispute with my bank since clearly massage heights will not refund the money.

I decided to give this location a try and so glad I did. Chris did such a great massage! I asked for firm and he did such a great job! Usually therapists give me lighter pressure when I say firm but he didnt. It was exactly what I was hoping for! I was hesitant on coming back to massage heights as I had a membership at the Tiffany springs location and it was a nightmare to cancel. I ended up paying an extra month at Tiffany springs and never used my credit in time and was told I couldnt even though I paid for it. Because of this I wouldnt get a membership there unless it was just the Tiffany springs location just providing poor customer service but I do recommend highly chris at the shoal creek location. Ill definitely be back to see him!

Great place for a massage! I felt super safe going here for my massage during this time. They have sanitization stations, minimal appointments booked at the same time, and the establishment in general is well kept and clean!Chris was a great massage therapist- I asked for firm to deep pressure and got exactly that! Does not always happen. And it did not cost extra! This is an added bonus.I am definitely considering the membership- awesome perks and affordable for those who are regulars with getting massages!

The lady that did massage was awesome....but they have major billing issues. And the director Orr manage of the liberty location is not at all concerned even on several attempts are told she will call you back.....I believe now that she had to make her numbers look good and reactivated our account after it was cancelled...and will not contact us back for nothing...now I am trying to get ahold of the corporate office cause this is insane..for those that cancel there account you will still be charged just a fair warning ...

Very disappointed in my experience. I waited a few weeks for a Saturday appointment. I was asked to arrive 15-20 minutes early, 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment the receptionist informed me the massage therapist was a no show. While it was not the receptionist’s fault the simple one word “sorry” and an offer to reschedule was less than appealing. I was looking forward to trying this place out and left feeling incredibly frustrated with the therapist as well as the lack of customer service.

We received a 90 Minute massage this Christmas and did not realize it expired at the end of March.. Just tried to set an appointment and they would not make an exception. Straight up thievery. 3 months to use a gift? Would love to hear from management to make this right but my review is fair given the service at this point. Trying to save a buck has definitely cost this business at least 3 longterm customers.

This was my first massage ever. I went in because of extreme neck pain that I talked about with the therapist and the receptionist. I could barely turn my neck without extreme pain. That being said I assumed that my massage would be mostly about my neck and back area. She did very well on my back but ran out of time before she got to my neck. Im not sure if this is standard or not but I just assumed that would be the main focus of the visit. However I am not a therapist and do not know how this works. The rest of the massage was wonderful and relaxing and my entire body feels awesome except for my neck. she spent about 5 min out of the hour on my neck. I will be setting up another appointment because my therapist was amazing and is very skilled and talented at what she does. I always viewed massages as a luxury.. this is not the case. My therapist Kenzie literally untangled the muscles in my back and put them back into place. This was a life changing experience even if it didnt fix the problem in one session. Im pretty sure my back is so messed up its gonna take 2 sessions . I am hopeful that my next visit will entirely fix the muscles I have bunched up in my neck and back. The price is also very affordable 95 for 90 min with hot stones and aromatherapy! This mama can afford that once a month!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrendous business practices. They will keep billing you for months after you cancel. They have trouble retaining employees, so you never get consistent experience. Only found one therapist I liked and she left soon after. Managers wont return phone calls when issues do arise and have their front desk person try to deliver news that she doesnt even understand.

We had a mishap a few weeks ago on our couples massage. We were very dissatisfied and had decided not to go back. The manager called us back upon returning to work, accommodated the problem today, and even provided us with a anniversary gift since it happened on our anniversary. We were very happy with our services,staff and management. Thank you for a wonderful day and gift!

I received my first massage at this location on 3/11/16 with Chelsea. I was told to get massage therapy by my chiropractor so I specifically came here for a sciatica issue and stated that IN INK on the human skeletal picture on the take in sheet I filled out prior to the appointment. I circled the area and even placing #1 next to the sciatica area.The therapist did not massage down onto my hips. She stopped just around my lumbar area.She was/had been ill and coughing in the room during my massage.I am sore with a numbness extending into my fingers in my right right arm which I did not have prior to the therapistgrabbing inside my armpit with her fingers and pulling my upper body up (I am assuming to stretch something) which I feel was odd.The whole massage was just odd. I have had a massage before (not by this company).I then received a courtesy call the following afternoon asking how I liked my massage. I responded as I have above and the person offers a free foot scrub or some junk on my next visit. I didnt come in for a pamper, I came in for SPECIFIC PAIN and of course I cant get ANYONE to help or even do the elementary things I DREW OUT IN THE PICTURE! I am in EVEN MORE pain now and the best customer service I get after an AWFUL and PAINFUL experience is I can throw in a free half hour with your next 60 min booking. So now I have been ignored, robbed, and patronized. The customer service call, was just a slap in the face.On top of all this I have to file the claim for the insurance myself since this establishment doesnt do this. Naturally I am not about to pay for MORE services here if they cant even rectify the issue I have with ONE I have already purchased. I feel it is yet just another example of predatory efforts to extract money out of people who REALLY NEED HELP and PAY GOOD MONEY for help and NEVER get it... EXACTLY the way doctors tend to be lately.Not to mention the bogus foot scrub as a solution to my complaint is ludicrous.Frustrated and still in Pain

The massage with Chris was AWESOME! This is about customers service which is what keeps you customers returning. I was offered a membership for $49.99 a month 12 months of free stones and 2 free massages plus reactivation of 4 from a previous membership. I have a contract that had to sign for membership. It took several calls to get the 4 unlocked then fast forward to billing they charged me $59.99 when the promotion was not what my contract stated.Talk to manager Ashley to explain to her what the contract stated and what I bought into she said well the contract is not right WELL WAIT WHAT and there is nothing I can do about it WHAT??? So she directed me to Tiffany Springs because I asked for the person higher than her she said he at Tiffany Springs but there is nothing he can do about it. So I call Tiffany Springs the manager there oh we can fix that as I explained the situation til I said I spoke with Ashley so you can fix it or not. Then she said Gary, myself or Ashley will call you back TIK TOC WAITING!

Shari is wonderful and I enjoy our moments of chatting as well as the silence as I relax.

My friends bought me a massage from my birthday and they went to massage heights a to get me my massage they put a $125 on a card believing that that would get me more than one massage because the site said $35 for a 30 minute or $59 for an hour. I get there and because I used to be a member they penalized me for not being a member any longer and charged me a $100 for a 60 minute massage. The massage therapist never massage my neck she said she didnt have time in our wasnt enough. Im disappointed that they misled my well meaning friends who did a wonderful thing for me I am disappointed that as a business they penalize people who cant afford to pay for monthly massages. I dont recommend this business because it isnt something that is relaxing when you know youre being ripped off before you ever get a massage.

Ive been a member of massage heights now for several years going approx. once sometime twice monthly. Usually I would go to their location on Ward Parkway in Kansas City. Lately though I had gone to their location in Liberty.Missouri. Biggggg Mistakkkkeee. I work for the Federal Government and so I was on leave without pay during that time. I had requested my account be placed on hold and the location on Ward Pkwy. After the shutdown ended I brought my account current and paid for the three months it had been suspended Dec,Jan and Feb. This was done on Jan 28 and the same day I booked a 1 hr massage for that day. A couple of weeks later I returned for another 1 hr massage. This was done and at this point I still had 1 1hr session left for February. The woman at the counter was new and tried to tell me I had to pay for that session. After what seemed like an hour of talking she said she understood and that was thatOn March I checked my bank account and found that the location in Liberty had gone into my checking account and taken 100.00. I immediately called them and was told that was my regular monthly payment. I was stunned. After all the time it took to get my account straightened out and here we were like that whole conversation had not happened. I asked to speak with the mgr found out her name is Jessie and she was the one who had done it. I called Liberty the following Monday and spoke with Jessie and she assured me they would put the money back in my account. Well by that Friday the money still wasnt there. I called the Liberty location once again to find out why and was informed that my account was now past due for the March payment which is due on or about the 12th.I once again explained to them (Jessie) that they had already taken money out of my account and she says that that is my regular monthly payment. The Liberty location doesnt handle my account the location where you signed up does and for me thats Ward Parkway. On top of that I said they had taken 100.00 out of my account when my monthly payment is $59.00 and change. Jesse told me that they were in fact not going to put the money back in my account even though they should not have taken it and that their system would not allow them to return the money until my account was current meaning the March payment. So at this point they have taken 100.00 out of my account that they shouldnt have and are asking for more money to release the money they have already taken. Is this incredulous or not. I asked for the owners name since each location is independently owned and operated and was told his name was Tom just Tom. Jessie said they had explained the situation to him and he agreed with them. Imagine you agree you have the right to go into someones account and account you dont manage and take money that is not due you you then refuse to return it on top of the fact that I had already paid for the three months and at the time they took the 100.00 nothing was due. Oh by the way the owner to this date had not called me back.HHHMMMM. Anyway be wary of this location the people are inept and the owner seems to be very shady.Quentin

Ive been coming here for over 3 years and I LOVE this place!! The staff is always friendly and accommodating to all my needs. The pricess are very reasonable. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a 90min and hotstones to anyone!! They customize the massage to you, its AMAZING!

I have been coming here for over a year and always look forward to my relaxing time with Kim. The staff always makes sure Im satisfied with my experience and Kim addresses any focus areas that I need that day. I make sure I schedule my next massage when I check out to make sure I get my time and use my foundation hours every month.

Ajani is the best of you like really deep tissue. Shes not kidding when she goes deep. She also seems to know when to take it a little easier without you having to tell her too. Its really hard to find someone that knows how to do trigger point and deep tissue. I definitely recommend her.

Scheduled an appt for my husband as a gift - gave him a gift card with tip included so he had nothing to worry about. Found out when he got home that he had to pay another tip because they said it wasnt in their computer - despite the fact that he provided them with the receipt that showed the tip. When I called back to complain - only thing the man could repeat was that it wasnt in the computer, no explanation for the missing tip that showed on the receipt- terrible service, wont spend my money with this dishonest business again

Chelsea gave, legitimately, the best massage Ive ever gotten. Ive been getting massages for the better part of 12 years and Chelsea is the best. Undoubtedly. The deep tissue work with range of motion stretches were exactly what I needed.

Massages were inconsistent and several times it was clear that the therapist didnt want to be there. Canceled my membership and was charged for an additional 30 minutes my last visit even though I never used less than 90 minutes in the 2+ years I was a member.

Me and my husband got a couples massage by Christina and Amanda and they were WONDERFUL. The massages were great, everyone was very professional and made our first massage experience perfect.

Our $100 per hour massage was only 40 minutes 🙁 We did a couples massage so it was $200 we spent for only 40 minutes. Then we were asked in front of a therapist about giving a tip and felt like we had to. We weren’t very impressed.

They make you feel at ease while getting a massage. I had Tellya and she was AMAZING! Made me feel relaxed and worked out all my troubled areas!!

Such a great environment, never had a bad massage, if youre first massage wasnt what you expected try a different therapist. There is a therapist for everyone, just need to find the one that works best for you.
