The Booziscal Mondays are FANTASTICALLY entertaining! The signature drink was delicious and the crowd was lots of fun and engaging with the performers. We laughed and sang along until our sides hurt! Great staff and great vibes all-around…we will definitely be back!

I haven’t been to this location since it was HopCat. We went with a group about 6pm on Sat to sit on the roof deck, and it was very nice. I’m sure it’s busy at night, but it was pretty dead when we were there, so not much people watching unfortunately. I was a bit disappointed in their beer selection, but I get that beer probably isn’t their best seller. I don’t personally think I’ll go back, and that’s based on how slow they were versus the staff’s lack of engagement with the customers.

We really enjoyed checking out the new place tonight. You guys did an amazing job designing different spaces with different vibes. We are really excited to see how this new bar develops over time. So excited for something different in Kansas City. Check this place out!

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL BAR! My boyfriend and I were visiting and blown away by the theme! Such a unique bar with 3 floors, the patio is our favorite. For the afternoon we got 2 drinks and it was $40, a little steep, but understandable because we got doubles. When you come bring money because you will spend it! I LOVED the wallpaper in the bathroom! Everything was incredibly clean and automatic! WE WILL RETURN FOR MORE HIJINKS!

Boozicle Mondays. There are lots of other nice things about the place, but I want to specifically shout out to how amazing this performance did EVERY Monday! The 1 hour drag show before the actual show starts gets to be a bit long of some of us, (especially if we arrived 1 hour before for dinner) but otherwise it’s almost worth going every Monday to see what hilarity will ensue that week.

Really fun bar, came here in the late afternoon a few nights. It doesnt start to get packed until later in the evening though, so if thats what youre looking for maybe make this stop 2 or 3 in your night. I really enjoyed the open air rooftop when the weather is nice. Good drinks, good bartenders. Overall great place, such a vibe!

Its a shame! Came on beyoncè night, its a cute venue and the bartenders are lovely but my god I paid money to hear queen bey right before the night of her concert and all theyre playing is like 80s gay groove music. No current music, like at all, no queen bey.Something about the owner being here stopped it from being an actual theme night because thats not the music they wanted to listen to.

My friends and I did a ladies night out for St. Patricks Day and we had so much fun. The DJ was amazing, their staff was top notch and the drag show was incredible. By far our favorite place on the pub crawl. One night wasnt enough, we had to go back for a second night! Just a beautiful mix of energy and atmosphere and lovely people.

Came here during happy hour on a Friday when the vibe was more chill and had a great time. Bartender was super friendly and made great drinks, patio is cute with a great ambiance. Would totally come back again!!

Stunning space both in the main bar area and the rooftop patio, and the dance floor is perfect! the DJ was awesome and we danced our hearts out to every song. the drinks are strong and very affordable, and we were always taken care of quickly even on a Friday night. people may have a different experience depending on whos behind the bar, but everyone there was wonderful to me. I cant wait to go back soon!!

We had a fantastic time, it was a great show. Dont come for the food, and the drinks were so-so

Went for drinks on a Saturday evening. Entry to the bar wasnt too long. Doorman was friendly. Bartenders personable even with all the noise. Plenty of space to hang out on the top floor. Drinks were good and not watered-down. Very fun! I will be back.

The only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars are the drink prices compared to other bars in the area. BE AWARE: there is a $30 CARD HOLD WHEN USING CARDS. Best to use cash

We had a really good time. The place still needs work on logistics - but, I think it will get there.. On the roof top patio I was charged various prices for the same drink. Pay cash only - dont open a tab. There was a large African American women behind the bar who up charged me on a house bourbon/7 $10 vs $6-- I paid not knowing the difference initially. Not Kewlio - hence the 3 stars (no- it wasnt a mistake)

Very cool space. Lighting, decor, etc. Staff needs some training. Door guy had a better sense of humor. Outdoor patio must be the spot when the weather changes.

A great place with wonderful staff. Multiple levels with different DJs. The drinks are well made and I love the diversity of the crowd.** bonus: several good spots in the club for great photos and selfies.

We were there for a show. The food was just OK but everything else was awesome. The drinks, service, staff, performers, the atmosphere were all great. We had a fun time

I personally endured discrimination by FH for use of legit service pet, while celebrating my law school graduation with family + friends from across the country, in what we believed to be a safe space...Words cannot express how dissapointed I am with their unprofessionalism, and lack of comprehension in state & federal laws governing their establishment. To say they subjectively interpret and execute related policies is an understatement.Over the past 3 years, KC has become my home, and Ive become highly entrenched in the local community, through law school and other community advocacy initiatives. Generally, me & my service pet have been accepted by all business, making us feel very welcomed / appreciated. Never would I imagine otherwise, until this Sat night (5/13/23), when after being allowed into FH, I was asked to leave (after paying for 5 others and buying several rounds of drinks we never finished) under the guise of FH having to substantialy alter operations.Lets be clear on the facts- Ive been here numerous times with no issues. This night in particular, the place was entirely empty. The service pet in question, was neither NOT UNDER CONTROL, nor a nuisance, as he was asleep directly under my feet, at a table away from everyone. There was no substantial alter of operations required by FH, to accommodate anyone.This was a situation where one individual by the name of Dante, took it upon himself to exert authority on something that was neither needed, nor he was truly knowledgeable about. Dante is not legally trained in law. Dante is not a specialist in disability law. Also, Dante does not rely on use of a service pet. When asked to provide clarity on rationale for asking us to leave, Dante provides no other basis, other than were not denying you service, but need you to leave as we have to substantially alter operations. To add insult to injury, Dante then claims to have forgotten about the name of his boss who trained him on such policy.FH, please get your matters in order. This matter is not a joke.Also, learn to have humility. Once Dante was informed of the real interpretation & application of ADA law (did I say there were other attorneys present in my party as well), he could have easily apologized and diffused the matter. Instead, he let ego get in the way. There was no apology. No Im sorry I made you feel uncomfortable or anything. He was quite smug and assured in his authority, and knowledge on the matter. His follow-up action of trying to give me $10 back only added fuel to the fire. Were good enough for you to charge us admission, and buy several rounds of drinks, but then when you subjectively decide to cast us aside like weekly trash, we should be happy you offered us 1/10 of what we initially paid? Nah, were good homie.There are way too many good KC businesses that welcome me, my family and beloved service pet, than to put up with your biases and unlawful actions. As much as I hate to say it, Ill never support you or your activities again. Your weak, unfounded explanations and non-genuine actions cannot overcome this discriminative act Ive personally endured.My only ask is that going forward, you improve. Everyone makes mistakes. And we should forgive and give others opportunity to change and/or make amends. I ask you to properly inform yourself, and your staff, and genuinely try to do better. Not for me, but others like me, who either dont have a voice or are unable to advocate for themselves.If theres a silver lining to any of this its 2 things: One, discrimination still exists despite all the progress attained thus far; and two, because of such discrimination, the fight and advocacy in our community (and others) must persist. Thank you for that reminder FH + Dante. It only adds fuel in my belly as my legal career continues.One love,J+B

New bar with 3 different sections - Theres a pool vibe bar (LGBTQ friendly) at the rooftop and a couple of dance floors below it. Liked how they had security and metal detectors before going in. Free entry before 10pm, there was $10 cover after.

Fun times and great dancing! Only thing is, my card got a $35 deposit and I didn’t realize so when the bank contacted me, I called it fraud. Ended up with my debit card being froze all night. If you see a charge on your card, it’ll be fine. Don’t report it as fraud

Hopefully things will change with time, but for now, Fountain Haus is desperately lacking experience. The 3 open bars, 4th coming soon were told, averaged 45 minutes for drinks. I attribute this to being new, not enough staff, but most importantly, the wrong POS system as employees spent most of their time trying to charge people or add drinks to tabs.Friday night was plastic cups only, although they have real glass for other times and occasions. There were zero trash cans, anywhere, which led to cups, cans and bottles covering every table and drinks dropped on the stairs making them slippery, and then sticky as it dried.Hired, 3rd party security, was at the door to great us, absolutely no one from the staff was at the door. We did not even have our IDs checked as we went in as that is typically staffs job and not security.The flow of people between the floors, is nothing but a traffic jam as the door ways are way too small. Add intoxicated people to the mix, doorways only seem to get smaller.The speakers placed directly over the bars, make it impossible to communicate with bar tenders, at all. They cant hear you, and you cannot hear them.The way I have seen Fountain Haus operating the last few nights looks to me like we should be seeing it soon on Bar Rescue.Its not all bad, everything is new and fresh and also one of the few places with a rooftop patio. Drinks were always perfect, exactly how they should be. I would say the aesthetics is like a big city night club, think Las Vegas, or Chicago, definitely what Kansas City has needed for a long time. As a plus, Fountain Haus DOES except debit/credit cards so no more need to carry cash.Dance floor, main room and upstairs patio all had different music making it easy to move around if you didnt like the music or vibe in one location, or just wanted an actual dance floor.I really hope all these issues get worked out as time passes, Fountain Haus has so much potential and I really want it to stick around and become my get away from daily life.

Very fun bar! However Saturday night my friends and I all caught Covid here. We met up here, then parted ways afterwards, and we all tested positive today. Not exactly sure how that happened but definitely a bummer! I will still be back though, as I understand this was probably a weird fluke lol. I would’ve given a 5 star review aside from the whole Covid situation!

Fresh, good looking bar. Friendly people. It was a Sunday night but I saw no evidence of a restaurant.

Just had drinks on the rooftop bar. Order-your-own-drink ala many great gay bars, but totally worth it! Great atmosphere and drinks, definitely recommend!

Fabulous! Like being in 3 different bars at once. Security a much needed measure in todays times. Opening weekend was busy, so nice to see again.

Very surprised. The bar is super new and the various rooms all have their own vibe. I think KC prob has been in need of a space like this.

Visited with a friend who had frequented here. admittedly i was only here briefly, but we left to go to missie b’s because there was a show there & it generally felt off. as i was leaving, one of the security guards said “let me guess, not your team?”

A safe space for everyone. This place has a mix of events, shows, and music, so there should be something for everyone.
