Been to Spalation a handful of times and enjoyed my experience every time. They have amazing massage therapists and admin staff members. I always find it so cute they give you a little plate of fruits at the end of your massage. Couples massage option is great too, keep in mind they have monthly specials packages for couples so prices may differ.Im very impressed with the professionalism of all of the staff at this spa and very impressed that they made their own perfumes!

This place is the absolute best!! My boyfriend and I came for a couples massage for my Birthday. From the moment you walk in everything and everyone is so welcoming. There’s attention to detail in every aspect down to the fruit in the ice cubes of the drinks. The place was very clean and the robes were so comfy. It was the best massage I’ve ever had and the staff even went out of their way to make my Birthday more special.

This place is such a great place to go and take all the stress you have out of your body! I always leave this place so relaxed and the people are so great! They also treat you with some delicious fruit water and a snack after your massage that are super yummy and just helps top off the massage! Highly recommend anyone to come here wanting a real spa experience!

Just had my first massage at Spalation. This environment is much different than any other spa I’ve been to. It’s so warm, cozy, and welcoming. My massage was amazing and Peng made sure I was comfortable the entire time. A plate of snacks and hot chocolate awaited me after my massage. Cannot recommend this place enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The absolute best customer service at a spa in the metro area. My husband and I have tried many different spas and Spalation always is the one we brag about most. The customer service is great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the services are always consistently amazing. Cannot recommend them enough!

This place is amazing from the minute you walk through the front door, the lobby is super cute and the front desk lady was very welcoming. We got the couples valentines special and I cant say enough how awesome it was. Joe was my masseur and he gave me the best massage Ive ever had! They really take the time and make the experience well worth the money! We will definitely be back!

Hands down one of the best places in the Northland! Spalation adds a personal touch and makes the entire massage process a wonderful experience. The front lobby staff were welcoming. My massage therapist, Heather, was kind, listened to my needs, and was AMAZING. I left feeling rejuvenated! I will definitely be going back.

Best massage I’ve ever gotten - and I’ve gotten 20+ massages. This was a prenatal massage and it was incredible! Front desk greeter was so nice and Joe, the massage therapist was absolutely amazing! The little touches of cold water when you walk in and a sweet snack and drink afterwards were so great and made the experience even more worth it. I will DEFINITELY be back here more often and I highly recommend!

I had the most wonderful time at this massage spa! The staff were very welcoming, attentive and professional. I had the July special 60 minute massage of choice and 30 minute foot reflexology. I was completely rested and rejuvenated when I left. I enjoyed the water and snacks as well. It felt like a true mini retreat. I would recommend this for anyone 😍🤗

Unfortunately, my massage was very underwhelming probably the worst I’ve received so far. This was my first time there so I will just request a different therapist if there’s a next time. This place has great potential to be my favorite so I’m going to give it another chance hence why I gave such a high rating. Very clean, hospitable, and friendly! They provide you with fruit infused water when you first arrive and change out your shoes to comfortable slides. The ambience was perfect for a massage. Only downside is you can hear everything!! People walking outside the room, the front desk people sometimes, and even the massage going on next door if they’re talking. There are separate rooms but the walls don’t connect to the ceiling if that make sense. Hopefully that could be changed in the future!

Went for a couples massage.Such a beautiful place. You feel peaceful and calming atmosphere the moment you walk in. Top notch service, friendly staff. Best experience. Im definitely coming back for an anniversary, valentines day, mothers day and girls night out and any other day.

I booked a spa package here for my birthday and specifically requested and was confirmed that I’d have their best male masseuse, Peng. Instead when I showed up I was connected with a young lady who explained he was out that day. I probably would have rescheduled if someone had called and given me this information but maybe not because it was my actual birthday!Maybe it was me but the young lady I was substituted with seemed very uncomfortable with servicing me from the beginning through the end. The massage and reflexology service just felt amateur. And everything felt rushed. Definitely expected more. The walls here are also very thin and you can hear everything going on outside your room. The best part was the birthday treat tray waiting for me when I was done

We got the Valentines couples massage package and were very pleased with our treatments here! Will definitely be back! We loved the entire experience! One of the best spas weve been to.

I’ve been coming here for almost 6 years and no where else compares! They are extremely reasonably priced and still go above and beyond. Ask for Peng, you will have the best massage of your life!

Used to have a great experience here but has gone downhill. Guests were stacked on each other and rushed through. Massage itself was terrible and actually did more harm than good. Booking was wrong as well and completely ignored what we came in for and our preferences. Biggest let down is how personal and great this place used to be .

I received poor customer service from Joe, the owner of Spalation. He was very rude to me regarding booking an appointment. I have been a loyal customer for over a year and was very surprised by how I was treated over the phone. I unfortunately was blamed for being “rude” and services were banned.The massages are great, but the customer service was not what I expected from the owner of Spalation. Horrible experience.

I had the best massage experience at Spalation. I had purchased a couple packages for friends for their birthdays but never treated myself to one yet. My friend had told me how she had the best massage from Peng (sp?) and so I booked mine. Wonderful! The pressure was firm and it flowed perfectly, I can’t wait to return. The place is very nice too, very relaxing.

I had the best time! I went here for my first massage and I was a bit nervous, but the staff was so welcoming and provided refreshments and answered all of my questions with kindness and understanding. The atmosphere was amazing. It’s quiet with calming sounds, and very clean. Everyone was considerate and professional. They did a great job of making me comfortable, and the massage came with way more than I expected! You even get a little snack and drink afterwards! My massage therapist, Pang, was so talented. He was very respectful and kind, I had never been more relaxed. I will definitely be coming back here, and recommending to all of my friends. Thank you for the great experience!

They are great! I took my girlfriend here for our 1 year anniversary and was really crossing my fingers that I wouldn’t be disappointed since this is both our first times going to a spa. I can confidently say Spalation did not disappoint. They did not only meet my expectation, they also exceeded them!

Very clean and welcoming. However, I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage and left very underwhelmed. At no point was there any pressure expected with a deep tissue massage. To be completely fair the masseuse I had didnt seem like she wanted to be there.

Went here a year ago for a couples massage for my wife and Is anniversary. It was a great massage, but what really sold me was when we came back a year later, they greeted us by name, and with waters, one for me with strawberries in the water, and one without for my wife. Because they noted her allergy, and prepared for it ahead of time.Great spa, great prices, great customer service, even better massages!

I stopped over in KC on a long drive across country specifically to go to my all time favorite massage place, Spalation. Joe and Billy have mastered the art of making this a fantastic therapeutic/relaxing/inviting environment. There are multiple thoughtful inclusive details that put this place on another level when it comes to a massage/spa experience. Joe has always been my massage therapist - I cant say enough about him - he is fantastic and gifted when it comes to politeness, professionalism and technique. I have a shoulder issue and was a bit nervous that it would hurt to do some of the stretching and passive range of motion however I really had no discomfort - he is very intuitive and really pays attention to how his customers body reacts.Today was a treat to myself after a stressful work assignment as a traveling health care provider. It was exactly what I needed - I had every intention of booking a 3+ hour massage with Joe if he was available and had I scheduled the appt sooner than a few days before - next time Ill be more prepared! I had a really great experience here. The first time I went I had a massage therapist that did not meet my needs but the rest of the experience was so great I knew I would try again. I reached out to the owners just to share my experience and they made it right immediately which I was not expecting. It usually takes 2 weeks to get in but they fit me in next day and when I left I felt better than I had in a long time. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and catered to what each particular client needs; from the type of massage and scents to the snack provided after. The staff is so friendly and at the end of my massage I was able to pick a candy cane off of their Christmas tree that had a small paper attached which revealed what my Christmas gift from them was! Spalation sets themselves apart from other places by all of the small additions they provide making it such a special experience. I will definitely be a returning customer.

This was the greatest massage I have ever had. I have gotten massages my whole life, but this place is my top recommendation. We have done 2 couples massages here and they have been fabulous each time. This time was also a prenatal massage for me and it was wonderful, 100% recommend to all expecting moms! So relaxing and they have it set up so you can lay on your stomach. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I have had several couple massages at Spalation over the years and we keep coming back even though its an hour drive for us! The massages are always wonderful. Ping did an incredible job on my recent prenatal massage. The experience is what keeps us coming back. The details and customization make it a relaxing, pampering environment.

All soon to be mamas, go here for a prenatal massage! I had a doctor recommend a prenatal massage for my back pain during my 3rd trimester and it was amazing! I had Joe and he was incredible. His pressure was perfect and he made sure I was comfortable. I thought I would have to pee the whole time but Joe never put any pressure on my low back so I was able to enjoy the full hour! I have also never been able to personalize/customize a massage much before but here, they let you pick your lotion, oil scent, music, and after massage treat! Everyone was so professional and kind. It was such a great experience and I will be back for sure!

I got a gift certificate for a 90-minute massage for Christmas, and today I finally got around to using it. I am so glad I did. My experience was amazing from the time I walked in the door. All of the staff was very kind, and the whole environment was extremely relaxing. I won’t lie, I was a little nervous because I have never gotten a massage before. There was absolutely nothing to be nervous about. I felt 100% comfortable the entire time. I would definitely recommend Spalation to anyone looking to relax as this place has the full relaxation experience down. The snack at the end was also a very nice touch. I will definitely be back!

I purchased a Valentines Day Package for my girlfriend and I. It was our first couples massage and it was amazing! We felt welcome the moment we arrived. The ambiance from walking through the door to walking out was so calming. The special gift for my girlfriend was fantastic and she loved it! The fresh fruit and coffee at the end was icing on the cake of a perfect experience. I will definitely be back and will recommend Spalation to anyone looking for a massage!

The person I was with loved there massage said it was amazing I wasn’t as happy with mine but after talking to them they went way above and beyond to make it right and is very grateful for it. When I say this is the best spa experience I have ever had, I absolutely mean it. I am plus size and a lot of spas cause more stress than they provide relaxation. Its Is humiliating to go get a massage and have to sit in a chair for the whole thing because the table it too small and the robes are ALWAYS a no go. Spalation provides dignity AND relaxation, the table are actually able to hold me and they have robes that go up to a 6 xl! For my birthday in February was just trying to find an place to get a same day appointment, but I accidentally found a hidden gem. We came back today for my moms birthday. The experience was even better today which I honestly didnt think was possible. Thank you to the staff for providing me with dignity and for being the best spa in the Kansas City area!

My wife took me here for a couples massage for our wedding anniversary. Everything about this place is phenomenal. From the moment you walk in, you feel relaxed and peaceful. The massage was amazing from start to finish and the light snacks and juice afterward were a nice perk on a perfect evening. For the first time in who knows how long, neither of our backs hurt! We are already planning our next trip back and cant wait to see Merry and Amy again. Great job!

This was a lovely place. My mother, sister in-law, and I came in for a Mothers day treat. It was very clean and fancy in the lobby, the staff was very helpful, kind and courteous. I love the refreshments and snacks afterwords. Such a nice touch. The massage itself was Amazing. I had Tony, I believe was his name. It was so relaxing and calming. We all 3 felt like we were walking on clouds at the end. I highly recommend this place and plan to convince my Husband to do the couples package with me sometime. Thank you so much to the staff. I made a reservation for Mothers Day for my Mom as I was away from home and this place came highly recommended. Rightfully so!!!! My mom enjoyed every minute! From the step in the door to after- she was pampered as all mommas should be and I was super happy to take the credit on a place well picked. I got a Mother’s Day package for her and it was worth every penny! Thank you Spalation for making my mom feel super special in her day!! We just had the most fabulous 90- minute massage here with Johanna and Amy and we cant say enough great things about how wonderful our experience was!!! This spa is unlike any other weve visited. They truly go above and beyond to pamper you with all the little touches from the moment you walk in the door. Cozy robes, slippers, spa water, additional for massage, light snacks afterwards. My experience was great! I had a package that I was able to customize and my masseuse Amy was wonderful. I was given the full time which many places shave time off. I also had a nice little snack waiting for me when I was done. The only problem I had was that the walls dont go all the way to the ceiling so you could hear other conversations while getting the massage. It didnt bother me much but worth mentioning. Regardless I will be going back.

Oh my goodness, this spa is amazing! The customer service is outstanding, the massage itself was so relaxing. The atmosphere is calming. I love the little extras that are included, like the aromatherapy, the fruit water, the tea, etc. I got a prenatal massage and my husband got a deep tissue massage. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in and felt like they knew it should be a real treat when you’re coming in. The complimentary foot scrub to help relax before my massage even started felt amazing. At the end had a wonderful tray of fruit, tea and dessert for me and was so enjoyable and will definitely be back. The massage was wonderful and exactly what I needed!

I get a massage maybe once a year and will always go to Spalation. The staff is friendly and super accommodating. They dont push packages onto you like other locations. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The after massage snacks are fantastic, and the overall experience is beyond 5 stars. I can not recommend this place enough. This was a wonderful experience at Spalation by Joe! The atmosphere is very upscale and peaceful. Kyla did a fantastic job with the foot reflexology, Swedish massage, back scrub and hot stones! Pure bliss. From the minute you walk in you are treated like you matter. You are given slippers to wear throughout your experience. You leave your shoes in the front. You are greeted with a refreshing glass of chilled water with a hint of something amazing.You are guided to your room to change out of your clothes. You have the option to be naked or use their disposable bra & underwear. I was guided to a foot scrub where my masseuse asked questions of what I needed as in therapeutic or deep tissue massage. Gives you time to get to the the person who is about to relieve you if all your aches & pain. I highly recommend this place for self care.The best deep tissue massage Ive ever had. I get dressed and they greet you with snacks that you can choose what drink you wish to have. I chose hot herbal tea. The grapes, strawberry, canteloupe was delicious & just what I needed after a 90 minute massage. I found my go to massage place who makes you forget your worries and thats you like a queen.

Incredible experience!! My husband and I both had 90 min massages today and it was a great experience. My husband generally does not relax enough during a massage to enjoy them and this time he actually fell asleep which is an incredible compliment to Cassidy. Kimberly is an expert at deep tissue and worked out all the knots in my back, her tiny fingers have to be made out of steel! The snack and drink waiting for us after the massage was an over the top treat. Could not say enough great things about Spalation!!

Need a massage? Want a really good massage, super nice people and a lovely refresher afterward? Spalation should be your first and last stop. For my most recent visit, my grown daughter and I had a couples massage. While I needed some knots worked out, she has a muscle conditioning involving a contracture. The therapist was gentle yet firm, knowledgeable, and even helped with advice between massage visits to help her condition. My therapist found all my knots and left me like buttahhh.... Highly recommended!

Billy, the owner, was very welcoming. He answered my call right away and had me scheduled in a matter of seconds. His staff is experienced and he makes great conversation. The environment was soothing and perfect for relaxation. I had the summer special, a deep tissue massage and a 15 minute foot reflexology massage for $79. It was well worth it for a day of self-care. The refreshments at the end were the cherry to top it off. I will definitely be back soon!

My husband and I went here for our 5th anniversary. We got the 90 minute couples massage. I simply cannot say enough good things about our experience. Every single detail was obviously thought through. That is what makes Spalation stand out from all the other massage places. The atmosphere is beautiful. They give you choices on the type of massage you want and even let you combine types if you want. You get to choose the music you listen to, the scent you want to use. EVERYTHING is tailored to what you want. We got a hand signed message on the anniversary card they gave us, some potpourri to take home as a gift. I could go on and on about all the details they put into our visit. If you get massages on a regular basis or if you want a special treat for any occasion, this is the place to go! I’m not a review leaver usually but I am so impressed with this place I want everyone to try it! Look no farther-just make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

I had an amazing experience here! Customer service over the phone was so accommodating, my massage was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and they provided me with a complimentary fruit tray and tea selection at the end of my visit. Will definitely be going back again and again.

Wonderful! The owners take care of every little aspect of your visit, and are great people, too. They have a little mini-sandwich and fruit plate with iced fruit water for you after the massage. You can also choose your own type of lotion or oil scent. They make such an effort with all the personal things, it adds up to an amazing overall experience.

Very good massage. Way to difficult to get an appointment. Should not have to book weeks ahead. Some need appointments quicker and shouldn’t have to wait. Guess I will have to find a new spot. Very disappointed. I have called on several occasions and getting in is difficult. I work full time and I am a full time caregiver to my disabled spouse. I need to be able to get an appointment that’s convenient to me. So my rating of 4 is justified and I am sticking to it.

They are amazing! Top notch service and amazing massages. My fiance went in with horrible back pain barely able to move and came out able to move with only mild soreness versus his previous agonizing pain. Plus they are reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back.

Had the most luxurious treatment today. Every detail of my experience at Spalation was heavenly. After falling down some stairs I was in rough shape. Joanna worked magic. I cannot praise her enough. Hands down the best massage I’ve ever received! I can’t wait to go back again.

Amazing from start to finish!! Its a total spa experience, you are welcomed with some freshing spa water when you arrive, some very cushy sandals and they pre-massage foot soak really sets the mood for how relaxing everything is. The massage was fantastic and was honestly nthe quickest hour of my life. After you have a fruit plate and little dessert wanting for you. Everything was very relaxing and everyone was so accommodating!

TLDR: Amazing people. Above and beyond service. Heavenly atmosphere. I cant recommend them enough! Read on for more details of my personal experience with Spalation.This place has fantastic hours. My group only had free time to go to the spa on Sunday, and no other place could accommodate an appointment for 4 people on a Sunday afternoon. Billy had great communication when I called for an appointment and sent me a confirmation email afterward.When we first walked in, the reception area smelled and looked wonderful. We were given water (deliciously flavored with fruits frozen in ice cubes) while we filled out forms on what we wanted for our massages. Billy was very helpful and walked us through the forms. When we weren’t sure what scent we wanted for aromatherapy, he gave us samples to smell.Just past the reception area is softly lit with a modest water fountain; the lighting and sound of water enhanced the relaxation experience. After we changed into our robes, we were treated to complimentary foot soaks and scrubs. We were given the most adorable mittens during the foot scrub that kept our hands warm, and they smelled amazing. After our feet were dried, we got slippers that matched the mittens. The slippers were also so warm and smelled so good.For the actual massage, we all got the 60-minute Swedish. My masseur Kimberly was very professional and helped me feel comfortable. She made sure to ask if I needed more/less pressure. I was only expecting a body massage but was pleasantly surprised with a scalp massage and a warm eye mask. The rest of my group also had glowing reviews for their masseurs. The music was soft (we got to choose what kind of music plays during the session), and the light was dimmed. We were all lulled to various stages of sleep.After the massage, drinks and snacks were laid out for us. We got to choose water, hot chocolate, tea, etc for our post-massage drinks. The snacks were a variety of fruits, nuts, and pastries, some of which were made by Billy himself. Everything was delicious. Billy was so welcoming and easy to converse with while we snacked. We never felt rushed to the door. After we left, we got a “thank you” email from Spalation.

My gurl I went back on Mar 16th 2019 and had a good time. I cant say too much about it since it was my first time at a spa, but it was enjoyable. The manager was nice and the staff were great to talk to. Then after the desserts and scents we were given were great as well. I would recommend going here based on those things and the amount of attention they pay to your pleasure there. They are up and coming from what I was told and you can really tell they want to do a good job.

This was my first body massage, and It was wonderful, the place is really great, so its the right place to escap from every thing stress you up.Heather was the one who gave me that relaxing massage, trust me she is super professional. I will recommend this place to any one like to have a massage.

Words cant describe how awesome this place is. From the time I walked in for my appointment until I actually walked out I was pampered! They even pamper you after the massage. 😀Who does that. Freaking Amazing!!! The hubs and I get massages quite often. This was a leap above. We have had great massages before, but the additional services they provide at no additional cost are so special. We got a couples massage to celebrate me getting my Masters degree. When we arrived they took our shoes and gave us slippers, they gave us this blue water berry drink, so good. Nice touch, right? Then we were escourted to our room. Brand new and nice, BTW. We got into cozy robes and then headed out for a 5 min foot wash.Massages were so good, Thanks Joe. Like I said we get alot of them, they were prob in our top 3 we have gotten. Then when the massage was finished we could elect to take shower or not, we did. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner was provided.We walked into waiting room to a beautiful spread of a snack. Fruit, more blue water, piece of sweet bread and the best green tea I have ever had. Gotta get the recipe. The guy at the front desk (Billy) was so nice too.The service was great, but the fact that they try so hard is most endearing. We are from out of town, 3 hours away, or we would go every other week.

Great local massage retreat. Joe has a phenomenal traditional Thai technique. All of their therapists are technically sound at giving relaxing or deep tissue massages of you just want to de-stress or recover from workouts or being stuck in a chair all day. You get to pick the background and aroma of your massage oil/lotion and a beverage afterward. Great customer service. They have a wonderful Childs massage room.

I couldnt be happier with the massage I received! I had Kimberly for my therapist in a couples massage. I asked her to focus on my upper chest, front, and sides of neck, and forearms. Said I didnt care if she got to anything else and she didnt rush anything. Took her time on those trouble areas without being impatient. Easily spent an hour and then some on those areas during the 90 minutes. Spent just a few minutes on my back which was perfect. You wouldnt believe how many massage therapists get impatient with working only a couple areas and want to rush through a full body. Kimberly wasnt one of them! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! The experience from start to finish at spalation was so good! My girlfriend and I will be back!

ATTENTION! My wife and I have been working from home this whole time with our 2 small boys.You can only imagine the amount of built up stress and anger we have had in us!! If you need a getaway without leaving the country, if you need an amazing experience, if you need a world class relaxing stress relieving massage, if you want to treat yourself to all the details of a getaway, if you want to be waited upon by the best staff and owners who to treat you like number 1. Well this is the place to go and just do exactly that. The equipment was top notch and not some board you lay on with your face feeling like it is about to lose circulation. The sounds were amazing, the scents, the atmosphere is out of this MO state. The ladies that performed their discipline on us were amazing. I could not hear one breath being taken from them. They were all hands and mechanics. No loud breathing in your ears. The infused water and snacks were an added touch as well at the end. They have thought about almost every detail you can think of. We felt so safe in their Covid-19 practices and I would sign up today before they are overwhelmed and you have to delay the feeling of a new and imporved person again.

I went here about a month ago, suffering some back pain. Even though they were busy that day, they were able to see me. Which I really appreciated. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. I havent suffered from back pain since! I recommend this place if your looking for a great place to get a massage.
