The 4 hands massage is amazing. I’m a professional massage recipient and this is by far one of the best establishments for massages. I love deep tissue and it’s a hurt so good experience. They find spots I don’t even realize are in pain or needing care. They are the best. I fly all the way from Texas and make this place one of my first 2 stops.

This spot has been my go-to for same day massages. I’ve been to a lot of foot spas in my life, and this one is fantastic and super clean. I haven’t had a bad massage here. The owner is amazing - one of the kindest people, and a HUGE San Diego Wave fan. I highly recommend!!

Dude, charge me 70 bucks for 40 minutes wasn’t even a good massage but the lady was nice and she went well. I gave her $10 anyway this place is not recommended.

If I could give 10,000 stars, I would. I was in town for a wedding and just googled massage places because my leg muscles and neck were so tight. I booked a 90 minute massage (this is key--spend the extra money for the extra minutes!). I arrived at 2 PM on a Sunday. It was super easy to make an appointment. The massage therapist was May (this is important, Im sure they are all great, but May was SPECTACULAR). She listened to what I said about what areas needed work and she concentrated on those areas BUT gave me a full-body massage. Her technique is outstanding. The space is really deceiving--its upstairs in a strip mall (with an excellent deli below). There are private rooms. She gave me the best massage. The prices are terrific, too! If you want to relax, or have a deep tissue massage to address tight muscles, go see May at H2 Foot Spa and Massage. My only regret is that I dont live in San Diego. If I did, I would go once a week!

LOVE! I cant wait to bring everyone here. It is so clean & calm. Everyone here is so respectful & welcoming. The masseuse checked in on me and made sure the pressure was working for me & we made some adjustments & I feel so much better! I come to La Jolla for chemotherapy & I’m so glad I found this spot to treat myself & relax.

My sister recommend this place and this is the best massage place I’ve been so far in San Diego during my pregnancy (currently 6 months pregnant). The ladies and the front desk are all sweet and professional. The massage therapist I got was May and she definitely listens to what you want and what area to focus. I left a rejuvenated and happy mama! Will definitely be coming back and will recommend this place to friends.

I was unable to make my first appointment and they were so gracious about rescheduling. My massage therapist Emily tore it up and was fantastic about adjusting pressure. Totally worth it for the price and flexibility.

I enjoying going to this spa. It is near my house which is very convenient. I have probably been here about 15 times over 3 years. This spa is so clean and well maintained. The owner is very nice and friendly and greets everyone in a way to make you feel happy and special. This is a great way to start a message service. My favorite service is the foot reflexology. I have also done full body massages which have been fabulous too but the foot reflexology is what I like best. I don’t request anyone in particular and every therapist I have had has been very professional and trained well. There is relaxing soft music playing and a warm blanket over your body while you drift off into a deep relaxation makes you feel well cared for. I highly recommend this spa for the quality of the service provided but also the price. It is very very reasonable especially for La Jolla. There is easy parking in the center and it is right near a great Vietnamese restaurant if you feel like a bowl of pho after! This handy spa is just off the interstate 5 off the La Jolla Village Drive exit so you don’t have to drive into La Jolla village at all. There are a lot of shops around such as Whole Foods, Nordstrom Rack and Marshall’s. Good luck and I know you will enjoy your service.

H2 is the best local, hole in the wall massage spot!! I’ve been coming here since they opened about 4 years ago, the owner Hunter is the sweetest and he gives the best deep tissue massage! I am always in pain & sore in a good way 😂 I’ve also had others do my massage there, if Hunter hired them I trust they will be wonderful, and that’s proved right! This is a clean, simple spot and the prices are very fair considering the neighborhood you’re in. I’ve recommended H2 to many of my friends and they all love it here too. If I don’t have time for a full body/1hr in a room, I’ll opt to do just a shoulder and/or foot massage in the shared/public room versus private room. This is a nice in between when I’m busy and my feet just hurt lol. I’d recommend calling ahead because it can get unexpectedly busy here, but pretty much every time I call they can fit me within the hour or two. It’s great that they are open late too for when I have a busy workday. I’m moving out of state and will soooo miss coming here - it will be hard to find a new local spot that meets the high standards & friendly attitude that Hunter and his team have set!!

Great massage, fantastic staff. The massage was as good as expected, especially during a trip. Besides, I got massage with them while I left my earrings behind. After giving them a call, the staff found them and was kind enough to mail it to me with No cost!! What a helpful staff and what a good soul. I have to say thank you again to whoever helped me out.

I can’t praise H2 enough. I came in this evening for a one hour full body massage. The owner at the front desk was so friendly and warm. And the massage I received was top notch.I asked them to focus on my shoulders and the masseuse gave me a comprehensive shoulder and upper back massage but did not skimp on the rest of my body. Such a pleasant experience from an experienced and professional masseuse. And amazing customer service.If you’re considering a massage, definitely stop by H2.Two things to note:-Parking lot states 30 min but for appointments here you don’t need to worry about the 30 min limit.-Everyone wore masks and the owner informed me that all the staff is fully vaccinated. I felt very safe and comfortable.

Amazing!! I am a nurse and it certainly takes a toll on my body so I get massages every 1-2 weeks and have for years. This was possibly the best massage I have ever received. I tried this place out because of the convenience to the hospital and i am so glad i did!Hunter really went above and beyond taking note of what I wanted and needed while checking in with me throughout the massage. I injured up my shoulder last week and he paid extra attention to that area and fixed me up! Everyone was friendly and professional. The facility is nice and the massage table was very clean and comfortable. I am so happy with my massage here, I can’t wait to go back.

I have chronic back pain from a fused vertebrae, so I have very specific requests when it comes to back/neck massages. The manager spoke to me for 15 minutes before my massage to make sure he completely understood my needs, and then relayed them to the massage therapist before the massage started. It was by far the most focused and satisfying massage I have ever received. He even offered to accommodate my needs further by offering a 30-minute massage at a discounted rate even though that is not something on the menu. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a high quality massage with amazing communication!

Jennifer delivered a soothing 90-min whole body massage to my sore body after 4-hour drive and a back sore for weeks. She is kind and dedicated, reminds me of my grandma. I recommend this place if you want a relaxing afternoon.

Had a great massage with Sarah.The treatment room I was in, had walls that didnt go to the ceiling. Im sure there is some really great reason about airflow or something, But it was a bit distracting because you could hear the door open and close anytime they brought other people back into the treatment rooms area.Once I realized it was because the room wasnt fully enclosed, it wasnt as distracting...but at the beginning, so uncomfortable.Service was very friendly.

So I had a strange experience at H2 Massage. I asked for appointment and they offered to pick me up, a 5 min drive away, and told me I can ask for a cab ride home. Very nice to offer a ride. The 1st massage therapist Cyndy , not sure if they are licensed in California or not, but she had great strong pressure, she worked on areas well. The amount for a 2 hour session (with one hour body massage and one hour reflexology.) is $155. A very pricey price. Although it felt like only 30 mins was on my feet and not a reflexology as I am used to in my country. When I went out to pay, the owner boldly said am I paying tip on card or cash. Never have I ever been asked that bold question. I go for massages very regularly at home and as is the custom, we pay what is on the bill, no tip is ever wanted or expected, let alone boldly asked. I told Hunter the owner at reception, I do not pay tips, then he pursued to argue with me (after a relaxing massage). I provided the reason above. I asked for an appointment to be scheduled again and ready to book the time and he said no, I am not allowed to come back if I don’t pay a tip. I was appalled by that response. Then after a few minutes he said okay fine you can book again. I asked for a pickup for the 2nd appt time. He told another customer he would pick them up while I was waiting to pay, he said no.When I came in for the 2nd appointment he said do you want the same and he said i think he screwed up last time and told massage for 90 min massage and 30 min foot reflexology. And I said that would explain a lot, but I was clear to tell him i wanted 1 hour massage and 1 hour reflexology to concentrate on feet. So I had another massage therapist Mimi, not as strong as Cyndy, but still very strong pressure and it was 1 hour probably on feet. But both massage therapists didn’t do reflexology of concentrating on trigger points, but more so a foot and leg massage. Still great relaxation. When I went out to pay I notice Hunter upped his charge on me , and what is stated on the board and website to $165 rather than 155, I let it go, but he needs to know that this is not a proper way to run a business. You don’t sneakily raise the fees for a customer. If he wants to retain therapists they do not operate on tips, they should operate on proper living wages. And as he wanted, google reviews. If your massage therapist or the owner is demanding a tip I strongly suggest finding another business. You should never ask for tips. It comes off as rude or desperate or like youre expecting something more. You are obligated to pay for treatment rendered you are not obligated to tip. Pay a living wage to the workers. If you are impressed with their work, rave about her on social media and send your friends to her. Your time with a massage therapist shouldnt be stressful at all. So I am raving about Cyndy and Mimi :) they are excellent strong therapists. I would have given them 5 stars, but due to the inappropriate behaviour by the owner, it is a 3 stars.

Fantastic location to the UCSD campus. Hunter the owner was there and was very professional and informative. My massage therapist was Shi-shi and she was awesome! I have been in a lot of pain with a stiff neck and she worked it out. I will be back. Very clean, nice decor, friendly staff. A+

My friend and I were visiting San Diego and wanted a spontaneous spa day. H2 was running a great promotion on Groupon, so we called them up to see if they could fit us in same day. They could, and they honored the Groupon prices. We opted for a 60 minute full body massage with hot stones. They were very friendly, the facility was warm and clean. The owner showed us the group room for Foot and Body Massage, which looks like itd be great for corporate retreats, bachelorette parties, and those spontaneous I need a massage but I dont want to spend a ton of money days. My masseuse was fantastic. She keyed in on the areas that I listed as problematic, and she somehow sustained a deep tissue massage for the full hour. I would recommend them, and Id go back if I travel this way again!

I found this new place near UC San Diego in the Villa La Jolla Plaza located upstairs. Upon first impression the place was nice, clean and tidy. I was kindly greeted and invited to come in to try one of their massages. I chose the 60 min Foot & Body Massage service. My massage therapist did a great job, working from the upper part of my head, towards my feet. She was able to relieve some of my pain and soreness in my body. It was very relaxing, yet soothing. Wonderful experience! I will come back soon, would recommend!

Dual 90 minute full body massage and foot soak with flexology. One massage was great very thorough. the other a little rough and little unaware of what to do. Neither were actually full body massage the femur was avoided on both people and there was no foot soak and flexology was more of a normal massage .Front desk also instantly ask for a bigger tip and did not ask if we wanted change rather than allow us to do so our self’s .

The guy who runs the place knows his stuff and the staff has fixed neck issues, upper shoulder problems, lower back pain on multiple occasions. This is the place to go if you have anything you need worked out that’s been causing long term pain.

This place is not accessible for people with disabilities. Its upstairs and there is no elevator access. They need to state this on their website. And, they need to figure out how to become inclusive and accessible. Its 2023. Beyond ridiculous.
