I highly recommend Sandy Nail Salon! I have been going to this salon for years and years. Phi is my favorite nail technician. She nails every design I ask for and provides great recommendations on colors. Over the years they have renovated the salon as well as added so many new color options. It’s always such a relaxing experience and Phi is such a friendly face to see each time.

I went to Sandy Nail and SPA for the first time this past Sunday (6/18/23) for a pedicure, and let me just say that it was AMAZING!! Bella took care of me, and she was sweet, very attentive, and beautiful. This was my first time coming to this nail salon and I absolutely loved it! I was a walk-in and they were able to see me right away. Everyone was so sweet and had great hospitality. I came in for a pedicure and they have add-ons so I chose a hot wrap for my neck for $15. It was worth it and they reheated it for me too! Lisa did an excellent job and she even did my eyebrow waxing which was quick and precise. Prices were very reasonable ($43) for a step up from basic pedicure. Salon was clean and ambience was peaceful. Last minute me time was well worth it here.

I went to Sandy nails and spa for the first time and I will not be returning. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I was on edge the entire experience and worried I was going to leave with bloody fingers. I got my nails done by Lisa which she was very nice but the dip manicure service I got is probably the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. She was very aggressive with the automatic nail file tool. She nipped my skin and cuticles several times and filed down some of the edges of my nail too much that they are now sensitive. I came in with pretty gown out nails and had asked to get them clipped shorter which in order to do that she used the nail file machine again to shred down my nails instead of a nail clipper. I had never seen that done before. While shedding down my nails with the machine she broke one and filed into my nail bed which hurt. The shape of my nails are all uneven. I think she may have been in a rush to get my appointment over with. Again she was very nice and I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this was truly an unacceptable experience.

First time going, full set turned out perfectly. Wish I got my nail techs name but she was speedy and thorough🤍. And I believe it was the owner who helped pick the right color I was looking for. Excellent shop!

My new go to nail salon. I recommend requesting Ha to assist you- she is attentive, friendly and does excellent and quality work. The feel of the nails are lot better (no soreness afterwards), feels like a real nail, very light. The environment was great! Was greeted and felt welcomed upon arrival. Very clean too!

Firstly, I would like to say that the lady at the front desk is very kind and understanding. However, I came into get nails done for my birthday and I left extremely disappointed in the way they turned out. They were not at all what I asked for and I continuously told her throughout the appointment that I did not like my nails and the way they looked. The nail tech told me she made them not to my liking because of my profession. Although I did not ask her to do anything of that nature. At the end of my appointment she did not give me the opportunity to voice my concern to the front management as she stood right next to her. In the end I went back inside and the manager did not acknowledge my complaint and the nail tech said she would fix her own mistake if I paid $20. Which is mind blowing to begin with. Now I have ugly nails and will most likely have to spend more money to have another place fix them. I will not be returning. I’ve included what I wanted and what I got below.

I never write reviews for anything and wanted to give this salon a huge shout out. Kelly did my wedding nails and she went above and beyond my expectations with her meticulous shaping and gave me the glazed donut nails of my dreams. The salon did the rest of my group too and had great service, a clean place, but above all an attention to detail on nails I have never seen before, even from those “higher-end” booked out for months places. It’s a week later and my nails haven’t budged. Thanks for everything Sandy Nails, I received so many compliments!

I was at the Landsdowne Resort for a work conference and desperately needed my nails done. After looking around the area, I found Sandy Nails and Spa within a 10 minute drive of the hotel. They were able to accommodate me with the first appointment of the day on a Sunday, and my nails were done in about an hour and 10 minutes. I had a pink and white ombre (using dip powder) done with my own nails, and not only do I love the way my nails look, but I had never seen this manner of using dip powder before. My nails look like I just have nail polish on. Very very natural! If I ever find myself in Northern Virginia again, I would definitely be back to see Lisa at Sandy Nails. Hahaha I wish I could have her come teach my nail tech her technique! Just loved it! A+++ 10/10 recommend!

My BF got a deluxe pedicure with an extended massage and I got the spa pedicure with dip on my regular nails. They did a great job! So many color choices, very meticulous. The prices were very good compared to other locations in the Leesburg area. We will be returning customers!

Ive been going to Sandy Nails for a couple of months now and I absolutely love them! ❤️Ive had a few different nail techs and my visit on 3/22/23 with Tam was amazing! She was so sweet and kept checking on me to make sure I was comfortable.Not only did she do a phenomenal job, she was super informative when I inquired about alternatives to acrylics!!Thank you, Tam! I was here for a walk-in appointment, they were able to accommodate me right away for a dip manicure, and then I decided at the spur of the moment to get a pedicure as well. They were very prompt and very efficient, and the place seems very clean as well. Everybody was very friendly.

My sister and I got a manicure and pedicure here and they did a wonderful job! We made an appointment and they were busy when we showed up so it was a little bit of a wait. They did not disappoint and were super thorough and kind! We never felt rushed. Will definitely be back!

I love to visit Sandy Nails. This is a place where I feel like royalty every time I go. All their nail technicians are amazing. No matter who you go with you will not be disappointed. I have visited other nail salons in town and nothing compares the quality and treatment of this place. The rest is about what kind of service you would like to receive. If you like me, like a firm and strong foot and hand massage I would try Tham or Lisa. For acrylics we recommend Kelly, Laura, and Vanessa. I have done Special designs by Bella “the owner” one day she did the high school mascot on my nail. How amazing is that? My younger daughter loves designs by Kelly. My oldest daughter loves Vanessa. And my middle child and I go to whoever is available, Phi, Ha, Tham, Lisa, Lynn, Kelly, Laura, Vanessa, Bella, and are a couple more technicians whose names are away from my brain right now. My best friend visits Laura for deep powder and acrylics, and she does a fine job. All the nail technicians are sweet, kind and compassionate and open to hear your needs. Thank you Sandy Nails for making every visit a great experience.

I had Bella do my nails and she was fantastic!!!! They look exactly how I wanted to and she did the design I wanted beautifully. I am so happy with the result. Will definitely be back!

Just stopped in to get a regular pedicure and dip power manicure! Had a great experience with Laura. Everyone was super nice and the salon was clean. They make it easy to book appointments online and everything was well priced!

I stopped in between getting off a plane and going to a meeting. My very short nails looked terrible and I hadn’t had time to do anything about them before leaving home. They took me on the spot, and I left with nicely shaped pretty pink nails with no ragged cuticles. Everyone was friendly and pleasant, with low key music playing in the background. I lucked out!

I have been coming to Sandy nails 10+ years. And they never cease to amaze me with the quality of work and they have a way of making you feel like family. If you’re in the area looking for a place to get almost anything done, you need to book your appointment online and come ready to feel at home while hanging out with a bunch of new friends. This was a very friendly environment. I walked in looking for a new place and I was pleased with my service. Bella was super knowledgeable. She answered some questions I had. Lisa did my pedi and dip nails and I loved it.

The salon is very clean, modern and bright. On-line booking was seamless with all options easy to navigate.My technician was friendly, skillful and efficient.

I absolutely love my nails 10/10 all around great service! Ive been to other salons in the area and quite honestly none of them could really compare to Sandy nails. Everyone is so kind and caring, they ask plenty of questions to make sure youre getting what you want. I know Ive never left feeling unhappy with my nails!

This salon did not fail to impress me with their excellent customer service and fantastic nail work. I come into nail salons and always ask for something a bit too extravagant that not every place is able to do but these artists really make sure they fulfill customer satisfaction and take their time to assure the nails look exactly how you want them. I am very happy and satisfied with my nails! I definitely would recommend this place to anybody wanting to get quality nail art done or just a simple manicure as well. Excellent work!!

I wore closed toe shoes 1 hour AFTER I reached home from getting my pedicure and this is what my toenails look like!From going in, we were not offered refreshments, they did not trim the cuticles well, or file my nails evenly. There was hardly any massage, and the whole service was rushed. The lady disappeared for a long time and just left me there before applying nailpolish. Now I have to paint my nails myself! Im never coming back!

They did not sanitize ANY EQUIPMENT! you can get diseases and fungus like that and cut me 3 times at that! And this is after I asked them to sanitize their equipment they said well you usually don’t get fungus from doing dip powders…basically don’t matter how good a place is unless they are clean it’s not worth your health. This is how blood to blood diseases get transferred and these places don’t take it seriously cause they don’t care.

I saw Phi today for a mani/pedi and she did a FANTASTIC job! Shes very kind and was understanding about my being a little late for my appointment. I will absolutely be back to see her!

I absolutely love it here. everyone here is incredibly nice & welcoming. make you feel like a friend/family rather than a client. kelly is my go to for my nails. she knows just how i like my nails & will make sure i am content before the final touches. she takes her time & gets the job done! ive had my nails done by the others as well and they do just as great! you also have the option to schedule appointments online through their website! & they always find the time to squeeze me in if i ever need a last minute appt. i highly recommend sally’s!!

In town for a wedding and needed an acrylic fill. They were able to get me in quickly & did a speedy & fantastic job. I was in & out in under an hour.

I ❤️ this place! Ive been a customer for about a year and the nail techs are so sweet. They are very professional and care about your comfort and satisfaction. I was a walk-in customer, my first visit and was warmly greeted by Ha, my nail tech. Though they were extremely busy that day, Ha made every effort to make sure I was tended to. She then sweetly encouraged me to make an appointment for my next visit. lol

From the moment I stepped in this place my experience was amazing. I talked to a couple different women about what color I should choose, style etc. and then Kelly did my nails and went above and beyond. She was so sweet and communicative and listened to exactly what I wanted. And she out did herself! She was gentle, very talented and just so nice. They remembered my name and referred to me by my name numerous times, it just felt like they cared and like I was among friends. Lots of laughs and conversations at stations all throughout the salon. The atmosphere was just what I look for! I will definitely be back!!

I made an appointment here because of a friends recommendation, as I do not live in the area. It’s safe to say I will definitely be back when I’m in town! Everyone was very friendly, the salon was clean, and the lady that did my pedicure took her time and did a fantastic job!

Really enjoyed our time here today! I booked 3 pedicures and 1 manicure online the day before, we were greeted warmly by everyone. The staff was great and listened to our concerns. I had Pam who was absolutely perfect! She was very gentle and professional.UPDATE: 7/3/2023My regular nail polish manicure is still perfect! No chips to faults or anything! It’s still shines as she has just applied it. And that is even with daily dishwashing and other household cleaning and cooking. It honestly looks like she did a gel manicure on me. My cuticles are however looking fry but that’s my own fault for not using cuticle oil and moisturizing daily. But overall I’m super impressed with the service at this salon. My new favorite salon in Leesburg!

Bella and Phi are the best nail technicians around along with the others (but haven’t tried them yet, but my friends have and love them!). I found Sandy Nails through a friend when I was engaged. Bella told me she could host a nail party for my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law for my wedding which was a lovely time and included yummy mimosas to sip on. Since then Bella has done many nail designs (she is so talented) and takes care of me well! Plus the prices are reasonable, place is clean, and love that the technicians like to engage in conversation with you! I have gone to them for around 2 years now and definitely will keep going.

My experience was wonderful! Very welcoming salon. It was my first time getting acrylics in a while. My nail tech was very precise and gentle and my fingers werent sore afterwards and my nails look great! You can tip on your card too which is a huge plus for those who never carry cash on them. Ill definitely make this my new salon!

Wonderful place! Phi did my pedicure and she was amazing. Not rough, super friendly, nice gentle touch. My feet look fabulous!!! Highly recommend. Update. They have new chairs and also have a little desk thing that you can put across it for your computer. And I got another great pedicure from Phi while writing up an offer on a river lot!

Easy online booking and the team was amazing. At some locations your assigned person is the only one to help but here everyone helps each other. Did the spa pedi and gel mani - each lady was wonderful, respectful, and did an amazing job.

Horrible horrible service. Laura was doing a regular manicure on me and since they were busy she rushed to do my nails . She did not even work on my cuticles even though I asked her to . She acted as if she didn’t understand what I was saying . I left and 5 min later the nails were all smudged even though I dried them for 20 min at the salon . I went back and instead of Laura fixing it she just did two more Coates on top of it . When I told her this she once again acted like she didn’t understand. I was so displeased with this salon. They care more about rushing to get clients in than to do a good service . Never ever come here to waste your money. I took the nail polish off the next day because it was already flaking off and now my natural nails are so damaged because of the type of Polish she used . DO NOT COME HERE

I’m so happy with my experience here. I had an appointment at 11 and was served at 11:05. I opted for the spa pedicure and she took longer than the 45 minutes. I appreciated her so much! She helped fix an issue with one of my nails too. Overall good vibes there too.

I got dip nails done by Laura. I think the work turned out pretty good. I got exactly what I asked for. After a few days the chrome started to chip off and after about 2 weeks one of my nails went flying. I’m glad the nails stayed on for the most part but the chipping makes me a little unhappy. I’m not sure if this is normal or not for chrome nails.

First time ever going here and I am incredibly happy with my experience. I went in to get a gel manicure removal and to have a new set done. The moment I walked in, Bella at the front desk was extremely professional and very helpful. This was only my second ever manicure I have gotten and because of my experience they now have a customer for life. Bella did my nail design. I showed her my inspiration picture and she did an amazing job at replicating it. Highly recommend.

Lynn was super friendly and did a great job with my gel manicure. The spa is very clean and they have a variety of services. I loved my nails and I received lots of compliments on them! I will definitely be going here regularly

I was able to walk in and have a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish put on for my sons wedding. As well my daughter had a gel manicure. Our nails look beautiful! We will definitely be going back!

I needed a full leg and Brazilian wax.. I got there early and was prepared to wait, but they took me back when I got there. Thats the one star.. My Brazilian was so bad I had to go home and finish shaving it myself. Oh, and the cotton ball that she used was stuck in every piece of hair she rushed past. I usually tip very well, but not this time. Wont be back.

Saw a friends nails and immediately went to the website and booked her tech. Talk about easy!Ha (her name )is so sweet and kind). I got a confirmation for my appointment and when I arrived I was immediately taken back to my pedicure chair. No awkward waiting no problems. I was in and out in a timely manner and I couldn’t have asked for a better response.

I chose this establishment because of the reviews and left nails that are crooked and sticking up at crazy angles not to mention I multiple cuts from the nail file. It was a complete rush job and I regretted sitting down as soon as she started prying my nails off with a nail tip. I’ve already made an appointment with my normal nail lady tomorrow to have these completed removed. This was an absolutely miserable experience and mistake I will never be making again.

My nails looked better before I went into this place. I went in asking for a natural looking French manicure ombré style keeping my current length and round tip, and even asked what technique would achieve that prior. I have a big event coming up and was trying to find the perfect classy look, while enhancing my natural nails.What I got was a terrible experience.I asked repeatedly for what colors they use normally on French manicure and said I didn’t want it too pink. I was handed a basket of all their colors to choose from, I asked again “I don’t know what pinks you normally use for French manicure, as I don’t want it too pink.” Which I got no help with and when I picked a pink and asked if that is what they use, I was told yes. What I got was what looks like early 2000s hot pink and white, which due to it being dip, I couldn’t see the colors until all my nails were done.She also started filing my nails aggressively (cutting my pinky in the process) and then I noticed the 3 nails she had done were sharp stiletto tip, rather than the round I asked for. And she took off a ton of my natural length to do so. I stopped her and said that they weren’t round, and were too sharp, I got a blank stare and was told she would have to make the others match. They aren’t even well done stilettos.. none of them match.After all of this a young girl sat down near me with a different team member, asked for French manicure, and her technician showed her a sample of their French manicure colors and helped her select a natural one that would match her skin tone. Why I didn’t get this? Who knows. I tried to inform my technician that that would have been helpful for me as now my nails were way too pink and it was too late to change. Her response “sorry you picked the color”.I drove 20+ mins to this location due to the high quality reviews, so only felt right to share my experience.Won’t go here again, and tbh I wish I would have just had her remove the dip on the spot, as now I have to go pay someone else to. Terrible terrible experience.

Well, let me start by saying that this is my go to nail place for both me and my daughter..Kelly is the beat one there is..good skills and great customer service. Currently she is on travel so I made an appt for my daughter for full set acrylic and one for me for acrylic remove with any available tech. The lady who worked on my daughters nail was so rough with her that her nail bled,2 nails were crookedly shaped so we asked her to correct it and she had such a big issue with it. Then I asked her to do mine as I already waited half hour past my appt time and she had the audacity tell me to come back after another 30 mins.i was like but I have an appt that was supposed to be 30 mins ago, her response was sorry but my client is here.I was like then why am I supposed to wait since I already have an appt.she got upset at me and kept on telling me she has a client. I am really disappointed in this place. I asked her name and she said its Helen.onasking for the managers name she said that she does not know. Like really!! Never ever going there or recommending to family and friends

The workers were really nice and flexible! Only constructive feedback was that they didn’t do that much prep work before putting the acrylics on (no cuticle cutting or cutting my natural nails). Overall would come back again, I’m very happy with the manicure and the shape, no odd bumps and it doesn’t look fake like some acrylics look. ☺️ Would give 4.5/5 if possible!

Today was my first time visiting this salon. It is clean, well decorated and I love being able to book appointments online. Staff were friendly, courteous and skilled. I went ahead and booked a few more appointments as their services are competitively priced and its centrally located. I highly recommend!Update: I have been going every other week for a manicure and pedicure since my initial review. Still love the establishment and dont plan find another place.

Extremely inconsiderate salon, and will lie to your face repeatedly to avoid you from leaving. I had a 6:15 appointment, showed up 15 minutes before. A walk in that showed up after me was seated before me, I was told repeatedly it would be a 5-10 minute wait. The last time I told them I would be leaving at the 10 minute mark if they were not ready. I left after waiting for almost 40 minutes, and over 20 minutes past my appointment time. Unless you like having your time wasted and pretty much ignored, go elsewhere.

Absolutely love this place. People are very friendly and everything is clean. I have been very happy with my nails every time I’ve gone.There is always a huge selection to choose from. This place has WONDERFUL customer service. They are super sweet and professional and pay attention to detail and I get compliments on my nails all the time. I would highly recommend this place!

There were many colors to choose from. The photo shows the service, dip with tips finished in a chrome blue.

I had the most fantastic experience . They have a huge color selection that I can resist myself from trying different colors every time I come. All of the girls in my office also come here, and they love this place too.

San nail salon! I am so picky when It comes to my nails. However, I know I can always trust them to do a good job. They did my nails for my wedding day and my entire party, everyone was so pleased. On top of that they are sooooooo SWEET!

All i can say is awful. CHEAP PRICES FOR POOR QUALITY SERVICE AND NAILS!!! I walked in and it was empty. She told me to pick and color and sit down. As she was taking off my gel polish she tells me that my total (which was suppose to be $15 for a regular polish manicure is now going to be $20 because they charge extra to take off gel polish????). so obviously I say that’s not okay you didn’t tell me that before hand and they agreed to keep it at $15. The lady starts to paint my nails and it’s just terrible. I honestly think my dog could paint my nails better. I have polish all over my hands so i tell her to just take it off and they still charge me $15. Ugh! Never going back and I would never recommend this salon to anyone.

Its been more than a week and my gel polish is still perfect. The place is so neat and well organized. Staff are respectful and pleasant.

I do NOT recommend gel manicures from sandy nails. I got a gel refill the day before I left for a trip. The NEXT day the gel was peeling off. I went in a few hours before my flight left and had the mancure redone. This time, the gel lasted all of 4 days 😖.I do NOT recommend this salon. Save your money.

I get the best pedicure services in the area, and the staff is always nice and attentive. My nails are always polished to perfection, and I love how clean it is there.

Great prices. I called ahead to check if i could get a pedicure, because it’s Friday evening and i know that can be a busy time. They took me right away, which was great! The gals who work there had conversational English, which is awesome, but they also let me relax in silence after a little conversation. (I love not talking haha)I got the spa pedi, but asked for no sugar scrub, and she said she would just do extra lotion/massage. And yes, she did! I almost fell asleep during that part (although that might have been thanks to chasing my 1 year old all day).

Under new friendly management. Bella did a great job renovating the salon and upgrading all the services. Everything was great before now it is even better and my nails look great!

I went to have 4 nails repaired and a gel color change. My shape is almond tip and the lady who did my nails did a horrible HORRIBLE job! She tried to shape my other nails to shape how raggedy she had my fixed nails were looking. The very next day one of my nails broke. This nail tech did not know how to shape my nails but she definitely knew how to use to machine to make my nails thin. I take this as a lesson learned for cheating on my original nail tech. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS elsewhere!

Waited 25 mins before getting started even though I had an appointment. My tech rushed through my mani/pedi doing a pretty sloppy job on both. Prices are good but definitely won’t be back.

Very friendly staff but I felt very rushed. I got a gel manicure. It took only 30 mins service in total which I feel very quick compares to other places. It maybe a good place when you are busy.

Good service, when I showed them the picture of what I wanted (which to me dosent seem that hard, Jist a clear base of acrylic and some swirly lines) all the ladies seemed to go crazy. My tech did a good job the nails look great, it was just weird what their reaction was.

Pretty good mani-pedi experience. I walked in on a Saturday and was greeted warmly. Prices are pretty reasonable and I liked my manicure a lot.

Went in for a gel mani and pedi last minute and they were able to fit me in. The tech that I had was really nice but she did an awful job cutting the cuticles on my hands. Three days later and they still sting.

Arrived 15 mins early for my appointment and waited 20 mins past it before I got fed up and left. They took two people after my time one that was late for their appointment and just let me sit there and ignored me. Will not be back.

Phi did an excellent dip manicure! She was gentle and fast. And most of all, she didn’t over drill my nailbed!

I got to soak my feet for 20 minutes before someone got to my pedicure only to essentially have my feet washed and walk out of there with a poor polish work and wrinkly rough heels... Its disappointing as I used to love this place but I wont be coming back

They are horrible. My eyebrows look a mess, and they double dip their sticks in the hot wax, which is cross contamination. Also, my nails are ugly and I will spend money here again. DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE UNHAPPY.

The shop is very clean and cool, I always have a nice nail and Nancy is always my top choice, she talks very happily and is sociable, I have a lot of confidence in her and Nancy never do I am disappointed.

Laura’s rude. She argued with me saying I had no money in my card when I made her redo and it WORKED..she just walked away from me and kept rolling her eyes and talking back. She acted like I wasn’t trying to pay. Bad service and rude employees. Never going back

I had an amateur nail consultant which took 3 hrs to complete... If you choose to go here, watch who does your nails. My nails not only took too long to complete, they are too thick and not shaped correctly.
