SUNSHINE MASSAGE

First things first, I was running 10 minutes late to my appointment. I called them, and they still took me in, which I was incredibly grateful for, and my massage was still an hour long, too. It was easy to tell the training and experience the massage therapist had. I could feel all the muscles being worked. The hot stones were just a tad too hot at first, but then felt amazing.She was very professional, asking a couple of times if the pressure was ok. Fairly consistent throughout, and as I slowly got up to my feet at the end, I felt like a cooked spaghetti noodle, everything was as loose as could be. I felt almost like I had went to the gym and worked out, but not in the normal way where its sore and hurting. Overall felt like a new man at the end, without a care in the world.Definitely would recommend to anyone and I would love to go back when I have the money again, and maybe for longer than an hour.

We had a relaxing couples massage. The therapists did amazing work. Calm, clean and professional. Im glad I read all the great comments and gave this place a try. We will be booking appointments in the future.

My first ever, professional massage and I had the pleasure of bringing my lovely wife along to experience this together.When I say awesome…. I mean it from the beginning, they were very professional and attentive since we walked into the room.As we waited for the massage to start, we opted for the hour session instead of the 30 min.The ambiance was very calming and relaxing as serene music fill the air.The massage started off as your basic full-body massage and then “boom”, the hot oil arrived. Total heaven.Next came the hot stone to accompany the oil. So warm, so refreshing.The massage happily came to an end with another round of full body massage along with some stretching and gentle cracking.We are happy and relaxed and our masseuses were great. This has earned them a 5.We will definitely be returning.

A value price for a value experience.This place has both availability for walk ins or appointments. I would recommend an appointment, if they are busy you may have to come back in a couple hours. They have plenty of time slots online and booking is easy unless you are on the mobile version of their website. The mobile version gets smaller and smaller as you get to the checkout and everything is compressed, I would recommend just using a computer.Generally speaking, a hour long massage is about $60 + a tip. That is much cheaper than other places around town. The price was great and the experience was ok. I walked in, quickly got put in a room and they started after a couple minutes. They use hot stones which is pretty cool if you have ever tried it. Not the best massage, but for the price you cant really complain.COVID- I saw on the door they have a sign that states you must wear a mask. However, they did not request that customers wear masks but they did.

Found this on a whim while looking for a place to visit during a girls weekend and am so happy we booked it! They were able to accommodate us in the same week for four massages and it was the best massage ever! It was firm, but relaxing and the hot stones were an added BONUS! If I am ever back in Lexington, I will be back!

My fiancé got us a couples massage for Christmas and he chose Sunshine bc the reviews were great and I can see why! They were so kind and professional and everything was so clean. This was our first massage so we were really nervous but they were extremely helpful and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. The massage felt amazing of course!! We’re hoping to come back to Sunshine regularly!

I have been coming here for about 6 months now. Great experience. The Staff is very friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Heated tables, warm oil and hot stones. It is always very quiet here. The massage is very professional and top notch. Would highly recommend, always!

Had a couple massage this evening. I’ve had massages for the past 15 years and this was an amazing experience!!

I was impressed with the layout of this place it was very clean and relaxing, unfortunately that is where the relaxation stopped. My husband and I purchased a 90 minute couples massage. The girl giving me my massage must have not understood understand English very well because when I told her she was going to hard the lady working on my husband had to speak it out to her, but she did not ease up. Then they placed VERY Hot rocks on my back, so hot it’s the next day and I feel like I have burns on my back. It’s now the next day and I feel bruised and burned and can’t stand for my husband to rub my back.

My husband and I stopped in Lexington over night while traveling north from Florida. We were able to get in on short notice, and it was the best massage I have ever had. They did an amazing job. So much attention to detail. The environment was clean and welcoming. No wait time and everyone was very professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely will return.

Massages are good, and place is clean and professional. They accept credit cards, but dont like them, so bring cash. When I tried to pay with a Discover card, the lady just asked me, You got cash? When I asked if they preferred cash, she said, yes. I dont know what it is with these Asian businesses, but they get nervous when you pull out that credit card. I dont know if they think you wont tip them unless you pay in cash or what. I wont frequent a business that doesnt trust me not to screw them over.

I had a two hour massage and it was wonderful. Reasonably priced, very clean, and friendly staff. They got me in right on time. I asked for medium pressure and the therapist did perfect. She even used hot stones toward the end which i didnt know was part of it. I will definately be back. Thank you all for fixing me up.

Wonderful place! I have been twice now and they do not disappoint. They have done an amazing job both times that Ive been. Im a hairdresser and have chronic neck and upper back pain. I scheduled for a 90 min massage this last time that I went and I did not disclose any of my info as far as my job and what muscles give me trouble and hurt. The lady figured it out on her own and yes I did get a full body massage but she spend most of the time focusing on my problem areas which was great! They do not upcharge on hot stones either which is a huge plus. I have had massages at multiple other salons and have never found one that did as amazing of a job and used hot stones and did 90 mins for only $105!!! Can not recommend enough!!

We visited this place for a girls trip. They were polite to book the 4 of us at the last minute. Their services are great is an understatement!!! I mean they were awesome. This hidden gem is wonderful. Masseuse was professional, and definitely hit all my pressure points. The exterior does not match the interior. The inside is calming, dimly lit and very relaxing. Just enough pressure for my liking, they also have harder pressure but I just went for medium and was very happy. I will definitely be coming back here in the near future! Highly recommend!

Getting appointment was easy, place was clean, ambiance was OK but there were no professional/certified masseuse. It was just random pressing with elbows and hands and the pressure was too high. It felt like i was being pushed into the massage table even after telling the person several times. I had body pain and swell marks on some areas for few days. It was a couples massage and my wife felt the same except that pressure applied on her was less. Never going back again.

That is honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten in my life. I’m a muralist from out of town, and just finished a physically challenging job over the past few weeks. Yoyo was absolutely incredible. She targeted my sore spots without me having to give any direction, and left my entire body feeling like putty. I have been visiting Sunshine Massage for about 3 years now, I started going because of extreme shoulder pain that went all through my arm to my hand.They found the source of my pain was coming from pinched nerves from a childhood elbow fracture. Doctors,MRI’s,etc.etc. couldn’t find the problem for 3 years. The service they provide is well worth any amount of money they charge. Since then…my grand daughter has become a masseuse…and I recently learned she can only do this job for about 10 years and still have physical complications…these people work hard and depend on tips. I appreciate everything Sunshine Massage and the staff have done for my health and wellbeing.

My husband and I had visited together for a foot massage. I paid $80 with a tip without being asked for one. I ended up coming back again a week or so later only to be asked more than once for a tip. It made me feel some kind of way when its not mandatory to give a tip but I didnt want to be pressured to do so. I have no complaints about the massage at all, it was great!!. I just felt it was unprofessional to ask for a tip twice before I even paid. Based on that I declined to come to my next appointment and will be going elsewhere for services

This massage was unbelievable!! Lina (I hope I am spelling her name correctly) was fabulous!! She worked so diligently to alleviate the pain in my neck, shoulders and arms. She worked my whole body and was simply amazing. I will be back definitely and I recommend them highly!!

I had Alice work on me. I am a professional athlete and have received a lot of massages, and this is one of the best I’ve ever had. Alice’s hands find the trigger points and is very thorough. She really helps my body recover!

Sunshine was the only place that had availability so we went and I was so happy we did. I had a lady masseuse and she did so well. It was dark and comfortable.. no talking, great massage and priced great. If you’re looking for the “spa” experience.. this isn’t your best bet. However, if you just want a good relaxing massage for a good price.. you won’t be disappointed.

I have been to Sunshine Massage many many times because I had a foot injury years ago and the weather got wet, I feel painful. Normally, Alice is the one who will give me the massage therapy. Honestly, she is one of the best massage therapist I have ever met. I had spa sessions in Vegas including Bellagio, Aria, Venetian, those are pricy and good but Sunshine will give you the same treatment without the luxury. But I need to clear one thing, there is no extra beside professional massage therapy so if you are looking for some Asian fantasy, please go somewhere else cause you will disappointed. 🙂

I had the most relaxing massage with Alice yesterday. She was absolutely amazing and had me feeling a million times better when I left. She included hot towels and stones. My experience here was amazing. I have been to various massage places around town. On cruise ships. Out of town. Nothing compares to what I experienced. My massage therapist was extremely professional and knew the exact spots without me having to discuss it with her. The price was right. I will be making monthly visits

Prompt service, no waiting, kind and courteous staff, very convenient location near Kroger. Even a 30 minute massage is great with unexpected extras like hot stones and hot towels. Not a luxury establishment, but you get very good quality for your money. Would recommend to others!

She did a great job of finding a level of pressure that wasnt too intense but firm enough to really soothe and loosen up muscles. I cannot even express how amazing this place is! I have had a lot of disappointing massages before I discovered Sunshine Massage, and I havent gone anywhere else since then! The staff is extremely friendly and the service is always prompt. They even added hot stones and hot towels to my last massage which was a pleasant surprise. My only complaint is that you can always hear whats going on in the lobby if youre placed in one of the front rooms, which can break your relaxation. The place looks a little sketchy, but I swear it is hands down the best massages I have ever received in my life. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

I love Sunshine Massage! You get about 58+ minutes out of your 60 minute massage compared to other places that chat for 10-15 minutes prior to your massage. I usually don’t tell my therapist where my problem areas are and they almost always find them immediately. They are available for walk-ins and are are so accommodating. I’ve read on here that people think the outside looks “sketchy” but it’s just a leased business rental in a strip mall with other businesses. The area of town it is in is not sketchy at all. And they will do hot stone massages without even asking for them extra.

This was the worst massage I’ve ever had. She literally lightly rubbed oil and lotion on my back. She never pushed into my muscles even once…literally just ran her fingers up and down my back. At one point she was up on my bed straddling me doing the same thing to my back. Terrible experience.

Me and my friend were in town doing some shopping and wanted to get massages while we were out. I called this place to ask about pricing and available times. They told me we could stop by anytime which was a little sketchy seeing as how all other places were completely booked for the day. I told the gentleman that I would call back. In the meantime, they called me 3 times, I answered the first time and he wanted to confirm us coming. We drive over to see the place and it looked super sketchy from the outside. Needless to say, we didn’t go in there. It seems very unprofessional to call a client back when they say they’ll think about it and call back but you beat them to the punch, especially 3 times.

The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is very relaxing and Alice gives one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend getting your next massage here, you’ll never go anywhere else!
