Purchased a Seahorse Pro Plus. Price on box says $49.99 I was charged $60 for it and told someone made a mistake. Not much customer service for people who look like me I guess!!!

They have such a wide variety of wonderful things here! There is anything from sage and Palo Santo bundles, raw crystals and herbs, tees and bags, disc golf gear and equipment, to vape/smoke and kratom products. Its such a cool, eclectic shop with a chill, but fun vibe! Everyone that Ive encountered who works there is incredibly helpful, insightful, and totally non-judgmental. They all truly seem to enjoy their jobs, helping people find things that will bring them joy!

The merchandise keeps me hip, lol, but its because they always always have the hard to get, imported, Nag Champa in stock. Thats what pulls me in, but I usually leave with one or two extra cool things than I expected! T-shirts, gift items, plus the items you see pictured below. Botany Bay has very reasonable prices - the best in town In my opinion, amazing selection of cool stiff, to go with the super helpful, and very friendly staff. PLUS, they have a point based reward program that automatically adds points - and coupons - quickly to your account from return visits, that Ive personally taken advantage of several times!

Kyle was a huge help. Very patient. Educated us on everything we asked about. Extremely nice guy. Ill certainly be back.

I absolutely love Botany Bay and especially this location! I come here exclusively just to get my vapes. Parker is the best employee there in my opinion! He’s always very friendly and just makes you feel overall pleasant. He really helped me with my vape needs and shared some knowledge that has helped me so much. I also love their clothes as well. Do yourself a favor and if you vape and love unique cutting edge fashion make sure you stop in and ask for my guy Parker!!!

Was visiting Lexington from Dayton and thought I would drop in and get some Kratom. Their selection was nice but the quality was not. I bought some Kratom Pharmacy Green Maeng Da, took 10 grams including some turmeric curcumin an hour before -- felt nothing! I took 10 more around an hour later, still nothing. Ended up taking the whole 30 gram bag to no avail! I have been using Kratom for Anxiety for around a year. If you have a tolerance I suggest going to a different smoke shop! My S.O. had bought some premade capsules a month prior that had no effect either(different brand) and she had never taken them before!

This was my first time in the new location. The parking is so much better and the location is great. The store was clean and there is a lot of merchandise. They have all sorts of stones and crystals among other things - lots to look at. All the staff had masks on which I appreciated. Jourdan was helpful and very nice. I will return!

Went in thinking I knew what I was looking for but after being educated I became even more pleased with my purchase. Not to mention its more functional AND pretty!The rings spoke to me from beyond the glass. A very intuitive employee opened the case and encouraged me to touch and feel the gems and rings behind the glass. I ended up choosing a beautiful onix hexagon shaped ring that fit perfectly for only $20. For me that is hard as my fingers swell and unswell often.I also fell in love with a great little critter and his cat who were dressed in ghost outfits. The painting of this piece was enlightening and the ceramic was solid and not hollow.Great experience as always!

Traveled up here from Florida for Thanksgiving. Ended up breaking my tank and this was the closest store near where I was staying. lets just say that I was very happy with it being the closest. these people went above and beyond to make sure that I got what I needed and that it fit my mod. they explained everything I needed to know about the new coils and even through in a few free juices. I will definitely be going back to this place next trip up here.

When I lived in Ashland I could get a big 20oz bag of Kratom powder for $50. Its so much more expensive in Lexington. You guys sell half of that for the same price. I would buy regularly if I had a similar arrangement. I got to shop around depending on how much money I have at the time lol. All in all you guys are good. I just miss the cheaper kratom. I might have turned off my texts from you guys that let us know whats going on while back. I need to reset everything now that I actually live up here.

We love this place and wont go to any other similar shop in town. Those other places sell some of the same things, but staff knows nothing. Botany bay staff is awesome and they know the science, not just the product sheets. And its dog friendly for our leashed friends.

The nicest staff you will find no matter where you go! Always happy, pleasant, talkative and knowledgeable. When you walk in, they make you feel like theyve been waiting for you to stop by all day and come see them! Great selection of various products, unbeatable prices and constant coupons and deals plus they even give you a birthday gift! I just started shopping at The Botany Bay this year and I wish Id found out about them much sooner. Do yourself a favor: stop in, browse and meet some amazing people!

My favourite place to buy incense, smudge sticks and they have a really fun literature section. I love their tiny reusable tea bags! They are a head shop with other perks, I love the diversity! All the workers are chill and helpful.

The employees were very welcoming and knowledgeable when it came to product. It can be very overwhelming with all the choices and she did not steer me wrong in which product to choose.

Me and my husband always goes in there and finally do monthly drawing but this month we won and we supposed to get accessories and a pink/red bong but when we got up there the only thing we got was the accessories not the bongWe go in The Botany Bay all the timeWe talked to the manager on the phone he didnt care about if he lost customersWe drove an hour to get this prize but to find out we got played and never got our money backAnd every time we go in there one of the employee is very rude telling us to stop spending money when we only got one thing

WHAT A AWFUL SHOP WITH EVEN WORSE EMPLOYEES!! Was seriously asked if I even had the money to buy a piece. Tried to contact a manger the next day and was told “we don’t care about your business”. Really sad considering how awesome the people used to be that worked here. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN SO DISRESPECTED.

I came here to purchase a gift without having any real knowledge about what I was looking for. I somewhat timidly looked around and at the counter was greeted by a young guy with a huge smile. He was insanely helpful and knowledgeable about the product and took his time giving me some basic information. I went with his suggestion which was actually one of the least expensive options. Instead of seeing a sucker for a high dollar sale he saw a customer needing assistance. Based on my experience here I find them to be respectful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Definitely recommend them!

Did not buy, but I am very knowledgeable about glass and how things work. The employees know what they are talking about and were able to give their best answer on any questions I had about the products. I love the display lay out and and the environment you walk into is very open and welcoming. Im not from Lexington but I can say that I will be making the trip to purchase the products on their shelves and talk to the employees. My visit was very satisfying.

Botany Bay in Woodhill is the best. The chilliest, coolest people work there. They love to cut up and joke around with me as they help me find what I am looking for. Man they make you feel like you’re just one big family.

They went out of their way to track down a Coach bus driver that had blocked off the wheelchair ramp so I could get inside. While trying to figure out a plan, they had 2 alternative shopping options if I couldnt make it inside. They truly went above and beyond to help maintain accessibility to their facility when it was out if their control.

I have been to two different Botany Bay locations and the employees at both are super helpful and kind. I’m never disappointed in the products I buy and I appreciate that they get new stuff in fairly often. I can’t recommend it enough and I am so glad that I came across this place.

Always the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff. I went in having taken three years off of stretching and needed advice on starting back. The gentleman that helped me showed me all of the jewelry, was very patient in answering questions, and even recommended the best way to slowly get back to the 1/4” I was at three years ago. Ive been to a lot of head shops and I really enjoyed this one! One of the only locations I could find, in Lexington, to carry Gpen accessories (tanks, etc.). They also had a really cool selection of rare snacks, which was an interesting thing to stumble upon!

Probably the best place I’ve ever been to. Everyone is so kind and awesome. Nick is the best! My partner and I got a bad kilo of kratom that made us really sick (not their fault) and they refunded us our money, mind you the bag was opened. This is why we drive over 2 and a half hours to go there. They’re all great!

I went into this place for the first time about a month ago (or so). From the instant I walked through the door, i encountered NOTHING but friendly sales staff that were eager to answer all of my questions about different products, and make suggestions for products that fit my needs. There was no push to sell me something, just the push to make sure I was satisfied with what I was interested in. You have earned a lifetime customer. Kudos indeed!

Quality of service has declined since they moved. Very little selection of THC free products and ones without artificial ingredients. And , upon leaving the store, had to hear a very explicit conversation that one of the workers was having in a phone call which every other word was f$#k... Something I really didnt want my kid around. Not a family friendly atmosphere , most if the staff is friendly, but push full spectrum too much for my liking .

Absolutely loved this place! As an avid Kratom user I appreciated the excellent variety they had, as a head I enjoyed the super chill atmosphere. Just the little things like the drink cooler being labeled cotton mouth cures makes this place very unique.

I must say I am deeply impressed with the disc golf selection here. Not just cheap starter sets and beginner discs but all the top discs from top brands. Its so hard to purchase discs without feeling them first, quit ordering online and head to botany bay!

Botany Bay has been my go-to metaphysical shop for a while! The staff is amazing and always so helpful, and they have a wide array of metaphysical items (jars, crystals, herbs, totems, etc!) to browse on top of their smoking accessories. Truly a wonderful place!

I dug it til the owner took part in protesting healthy at home during a pandemic, suggesting that Granny/anyone with an underlying condition should die for the economy when all we literally need to do is stay home for a little bit. There are better shops anyway, and you can find nearly all of their products at other stores.Not mad, disappointed.

I always find the staff to be very kind and knowledgable. Prices are much more reasonable and the quality of Kratom is better than the other places I have been. I didn’t make it in time before they closed last time and had to go to the purple store. I was totally shocked when I had to pay double for the same product I always get at the Botanticals. It taught me to pay attention to the time so I don’t have to go somewhere else because $39 vs $75 is a big difference. I buy the kratom for my partner who has chronic back pain. She said the kratom works so much better than the oxy and morphine the doctors give her and the kratom is all natural. I believe God gave us everything we needed when he made the world and I think Kratom is one of the things He created for those who suffer Chronic pain and don’t want to risk addiction to opiods. Just called the Alexandria Dr. location to ask about their products and whoever picked up the phone sounded like he couldnt care less. I asked him a few questions and got one word answers in what sounded like an annoyed tone. Not a very good impression for a potential first time customer. Will NOT be visiting or recommending them anytime soon.

Knowledgeable staff with a decent variety. Most water pipes are to high here. I wished there were more, quality pieces, in the range of what is found online and at other shops. Not much quality in the $75 to $125. That said, its one of the only few stores like this around.

A great little shop with many different gift ideas. The front end has incense, candles and various other spiritual items as well as body jewelry and tapestry items. You have to be 18+ to enter the back where they have tobacco accessories as well as CBD items. All of the staff are really helpful and definitely know the ins and outs of the product they are selling. Prices are fair given the city and they do have a rewards system that will regularly send out discount codes for your next purchase.

This place is pretty cool. I know some of the staff and have known them for years personally, so it makes my shopping experience a lot easier all around. All the guys that work here are usually very nice and fast to service customers, so you wont have to stand awkwardly at the counter for very long.They have a ridiculous amount of pipes, bongs, and whathaveyou, from dirt cheap to very expensive. For you connosieurs out there, there is usually custom glass in the shop too, which is always fun to gawk at for a few minutes.Check em out.

Celebrated National Smoke Day...4/20. Had a great time at the store thanks to extremely cheerful, helpful, smiling knowledgeable staff. Took advantage of the all the discounted items, high percent off sales which all lead to a receipt or ticket that allowed you to play 3 different games and win a variety of prizes all relating to the relaxing celebration of 4/20. I finally won my last chance at my last game but she winked at me and said I was gonna get to pick a prize no matter what, lfmao. (She let me take 2). Great place, I shall return

This is a great place to get things you just can’t find any other place and you don’t want to wait for an online order, etc. plus, you should Shop Local, Ship Local. Support your local economy because that’s who is supporting you. Amazon for example didn’t pay any federal or state taxes in 2018.

This place is up there with the coolest glass in town plus its huge. They have so much more then just blown glass too! Insense, art, tapestries, Wiccan stuff galore. Plus the staff is very friendly and chatty.

Quality of pieces, staff, knowledge have all gone down over the years while prices and attitude have all gone up. Having bought 30+ glass pieces going all the way back to the police raid reopening, I won’t be returning.

Honestly the prices are just slightly more expensive than online purchasing. Which is a compliment. Most head shops have ridiculously high and inflated prices. They have a product that is 7.99 that I found at another smoke shop for 18.99. Other shops are ridiculously overpriced.

I was looking for CBD to vape and didnt really know anything about it, how much you use, strength, etc. A very helpful sales person explained it to me well and explained what the differences were in the products they carried. I am very happy with my purchase.I also like that they have a customer loyalty program, but I dont like that it requires an app. My phone is full STOP MAKING ME DOWNLOAD APPS. Give me a website instead please.

Really nice selection. We got a really nice piece there thst was very artistic looking. The glass pipes are very reasonably priced. They have some local artist pieces as well and some collector pieces in the higher price range. I always love to buy incense here because the incense is, in my opinion, better than other store bough incense and the scents are better. They habe a huge selection of different scents as well. Other than that they have a ton of cigars, cigarillos, and rolling papers. Defiently worth checking out if you are in the are but make sure you have your ID. You WILL be carded.

Botany sells sub par products. And after they do that, their policy is no refunds or exchanges all sales final. I dont know their policy on clothes, surely one would be able to exchange it for a different size, but knowing botany, that may not be allowed either. I understand the policy that you cant exchange or refund a tobacco pipe, because of legality and personal hygiene issues. I have bought $210 worth of totally bunk products from them. Youd think I would learn, but their employees seem so knowledgeable and trustworthy that I buy it thinking the outcome will be different. I bought two g pen dry herb vaporizers in one transaction. One for me and One was a gift. One lasted a week working half right, and the other lasted 2 months again, working half right. $160 down the drain. I bought a beaker type tobacco bong for $30, and it lasted TWO DAYS then broke all the way up the side and water leaked out everywhere. We still dont know why. There are other stuff as well, but if you want to buy anything from botany that could break, I would suggest you buy only products with company warranties and send them in. But I do love their assortment of tie dye and raw brand shirts, and Im in love with their room spray for tobacco odor and other odors. Only one that works. Staff are friendly and helpful and seem to know about their products. But the owner needs to figure out why a lot of their products do NOT work. Im really starting to think its like TJ MAXX where you buy name brand good stuff that is slightly damaged for less than half the regular price. Only had a grinder and papers that have actually worked. The no refund policy is not fair, because it seems everything they have is sub par but looks beautiful in the packaging.

Walked in and asked for a specific name brand item for my electric pen set up. What I was sold was a cheap knock off for the same price. I should have inspected the item before I bought it, but still pretty disappointed I had to in the first place.

By far THE BEST SHOP in Lexington. The Botnay Bay NEVER leaves me disappointed. Its like a kid walking into a candy store when I pull up! The staff has always been super cool and knowledgeable about their craft. Anything from incense, to t-shirts...if its about the culture they got it! Great selection of CBD and kratom with the best prices in Lexington. TBB always keeps me fresh with the new pieces. I went in this store looking for an alternative way to treat panic attacks and fibromyalgia symptoms, what I got was help from some awesome staff members who really knew how to help me. A very friendly employee offered CBD and Kratom in capsule form, as a try this and see. It worked. Its been about 5 months and Ive went from 1-2 panic attacks a week and living in constant pain, to only one painic attack and a one week flare up of pain. I was even able to drop my perscriptions that came with nasty side effects and werent really helping. May not work or everyone, but absolutely changed my life!

The only store to have access and to ship the best tea in the country, but their website is down. 😱

They have terrible service with creepy men staring at you. They also overcharged my account by 128 dollars and gave me back 20 dollars if it. I would not reccomend and will not go back ever.

The Botany Bay has a good selection of vape juices and some other mostly smoking items. Most of the clerks were unable to describe the differences between different vaporizers, so you will need to know what you want before arriving.

We were very well taken care of, and the employee was super knowledgable about any questions we had. Will definitely be back!
