I couldn’t pay a $10 cover charge on a Sunday afternoon. Naa sorry. :/ Tho I felt safest parking near the police station down the street still not paying $10.. 😊
Always a fun time at this bar! Great workers and amazing events and performances!
I love this place! Great ambience, good vibe, great service. OH, did I mention the drinks are FIYAH!?! Oliver runs a tight ship... the shows are always fun & entertaining, and that stage is remarkable for a spot like that!!
By far my favorite bar. I love Drag queens they never fail when it comes to entertainment. The food& drinks are good and the staff are very friendly.
Not the worst place, the people were nice. Was kinda low energy, and the drinks werent that much cheaper than much more exciting places.
Redline is a cool little bar located Downtown. The drinks and food were good. They have drag performances that were great the host of their brunch drag show was Ladom Amour Jacobs she was everything! So if youre into drag and want brunch at the same time and see great performances go to the Redline and throw them Drag Queens some dollas!
Came here after brunch with my sister...have been here prior to this visit when they first introduced Sunday brunch. I love the vibe here! Staff is always very nice and the handsome bartender with the heavy pour is my fave! Will definitely keep coming back here
Super cute bar. We only had time for 1 drink at the time, but we will definitely be visiting again when we are in LA again. Thanks to the very nice bartender. Excellent customer service!
This is quickly becoming popular downtown. There is drag show weekly and drinks are reasonable despite the other reviews and comments. The staff is friendly and this is totally not west hwd. Its cozy and more like a neighborhood bar than night club. The reviews saying the food is bad are dumb. Its a bar! The drag shows arent cheesy and Ill be glad to prove that.
I had never tried this place before. We decided to try it as our Anniversary dinner. At first they tried to seat us at the bar but Im glad the hostess obliged our concerns and moved us to the back for a different--and more pleasant--experience. The Garden Little Gen Salad was one of the BEST salads Ive had in a long long time! The cacio e pepe pasta was delicious. The short ribs and broccoli went well with our 2007 Peter Michael Le Pavots. Dreamy food...I cant wait to return.
Ive been to Redline a few times with a friend. The drinks are decent, the drag shows are entertaining, and the atmosphere is electric, especially if you are with friends as opposed to being alone. Its interesting to find a gay bar that isnt in WeHo, but Redline is a fairly enjoyable experience.
Sunday Brunch is amazing! Youve been Served! I didnt get all the qweens names but they are all amazing! The one that makes the brunch spectacular is the seductive ROX @stonedwithrox.. Diffenlty worth going!
The bartenders were cool, the Dj had a great playlist, and the gogo boys were yummy eye candy. Please host another K-Pop night.
The Redline community is just such a fun, joyous, friendly and diverse group - you’ve found the bar you’re looking for in DTLA 😍
Anytime I’m in town I will be back. Amazing customer service! Drinks are great! Atmosphere is welcoming. Brad is awesome! Best bartender in town! Thanks Brad!
Let me just say that I am not completely a fan of the West Holllywood gay scene. It tends to be plastic and pretentious. I enjoy it with a ton of friends but as far as nightlife with a community Downtown LA is the place to be.Everytime I come out downtown I end my night at Redline. Its a smaller club with a great dancefloor! Often has phenomenal entertainment and the drinks are strong!
Draglicious Wednesdays are alot of fun. Lively, intimate but still a party. Small run way, dj playing, small lounge space on the side. Show starts at 9pm with drink specials $3 shot and $5 wells. Whiskey/Bourbon is Jack Daniels or Jack Honey.
Bartender was friendly and place was empty.. however, granted it was a Tuesday, they closed a whole 1 hour and 20 minutes early and hinted they wanted us to leave by opening and closing the windows several times. This was my first time at redline and if your hours are til 2 then you shouldnt leave until at least 1:15 - 1:30 on a dead night. The drinks were a bargain. Signs were funny. I see the appeal. Just super disappointed in the under achieving tuesdays. Being from the east coast and working in NYC for 3 years, I know no bar is dead ever and its weird that DTLA is dead at any given time
Its a cozy warm and intimate space with red brick walls and leather couches that makes you feel quite comfortable. Nice-looking crowd although the drinks are a bit pricey.
Horrible, went in because I wanted to see if they were hiring. the bartender was nice and told the manager(some handsome guy with boy band hair)he looked me up and down and continued about his business. if you want a chill bar go to precinct up the street.#racistredline
We went for the Dolly show, it was amazing. Great drinks and the nicest staff Ive seen in a bar in a long time.
Awful place, food is gross, order two of one thing and looked like it was only one. Clearly I was robbed. And the location is TERRIBLE. Happy I only tipped $1.Never again. Stay away
Very hidden bar no lights on enough to see where the bar is at. They let Homeless under the influence of some type of substance stay inside the bar twitching. Business is business i will not come back just the fact is not clean and allowing homeless chill.
Went to order a drink and dinner.. I choose three different Options and the third one I ordered.. five min later the bartender came back and said they didn’t have the food to make it! He refunded me the cost of the meal but kept the tip for the total bill which I only got one drink..
I was ask to leave this establishment because the DJ rubella spreads has personal past experinece with me as I was on a date with someone. She had her personal life intervene while I was spending money at the bar. Zachary Beus and Oliver Alpuche own this establishment and this is the kind of people that they have working for them is unexceptable keep your personal life your personal life. I was allowed to enter and spend my money freely. I would like to be back and spend my money as I wish as a patron to this establishment. I wasnt fighting with no one and I wasnt a public nuisance to the establishment the police where called and they advised me too sue. I was embarrassed and humiliated infront of my date which was unexceptable because Rubella spreads allowed her personal life interfere with there business which uncalled for as As a employee. If this is the kinda people that they want working for them by all means Ill take my money somewhere else.
Said it was open on a Wednesday. It wasnt
Fun, welcoming and great drinks. Plenty of entertainment and amazing happy hour options. My favorite is Sundays bottomless Mimosas.
If youre looking for a place to shake your tail feathers get over here and get out for a good time. The drag shows on Sundays are great. There is no bad time to go to the Redline.
I met the two owners on the street the day that gay marriage was legalized and we all were so happy. Their bar is great. DTLA was lacking a spot like this!
Just had delicious margaritas at Las Perlas for $7 a piece. Came directly from there to Redline for two soso margaritas at $12 each plus tip, $28 for two.Let the buyer beware.Explains why Las Perlas is packed to the gils and Redline is pretty dead.
Anyday is funGreat Simple Menu all @ $6eaBrad , Mark are always helpful and make sure you feel welcome.Order once & they know your drink always. 👌👍👏
Excellent drag show hosted by Kiki! Great Bartender service as well thanknyou for a wonderful evening!
Best place to see Rupauls drag race! Nick and Oliver are the cutest and best bartenders! Fun place, great vibes!
This place was lot on a Saturday night. Drinks were 10ish each and were made pretty strong. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to turn up!
Great music! Friday night is my favorite time to get here. Im never disappointed with the crowd, the music, and the vibe.
They are never open, they lie and treat the community horrible!
$10 for a small well drink? You can get way cheaper and stronger in WeHo and not have crackheads asking you for money outside
Refix spot theres live music and the drinks are terrific the parking is not so much but over all this place is unique and one-of-a-kind and its local and perfect for everyone.
Great spot for a drink in DTLA. Friendly staff and great cocktails. Loving the weekend brunch options too!
Great place to sit and have a snack, have a drink, watch a show, or just have a conversation.... Friendly staff, and great showcast.... Everything you want in a Home Bar.
Redline does community as well as it does blowout events - this is your new favorite bar.
My favorite spot period! Not just downtown and they are heavily involved in the DTLA PROUD Festival. LOVE THEM!
The vibe is amazing and they have the most amazing staff. I visited while they had their pop up and Brad was everything we could have asked for.
Nachos were pretty good. Nice crispy chips and Brad the bartender very congenial.
This place actually has potential. Sad that you have to dodge crackheads to get here, but once youre in the door, the staff is AMAZING! Too small a spot for the energy.
Drinks are a little expensive, but the music, atmosphere, and the staff are all absolutely amazing!
Great DTLA gay bar with darts, dancers, live popular DJ, and drink specials starting at 10pm!
A man came up to me and offered me a free drink in exchange for oral intercourse. I am not a gay man for your information, i was here for a friend.
Awesome place, great music and super gorgeous gogo boys!
Pretty quiet not much really going on this past Saturday s😩 I left & went to Precinct
Ouch, some of these reviews are (gay-boy) rough! Id visit again, especially if cazwell is there, ♡♡
Fun Crowd with good music. Make sure you stop by if you are in DTLA.
Great music. Reasonable drinks. And soooooo not WeHo.
Just wanna all of the music in this amazing bar. Perfect vibe.
Excellent place for cocktails and great Ownership fun and friendly Service
No ladies or bi night but good enough drinks to forget that the lady i was flirting with is straight.
Fun staff and well planned events. Nice interior that never gets scary crowded.
Not a good variety of food but great customer service!
Its ok but I prefer to recommend a bar in Hollywood
Brad is the best bartender !!! And john the security is PAPI
Drinks are strong and affordable, another good alternative to WeHo.
Great music, great people, great vibes 😚 definitely recommend
Great spot for the gay’s while out & about DTLA...
Awful DJ, rude and didnt listen, place was empty because the music he played was awful
Food is great, ambiance amazing! 😊
Sunday Brunch so Fun!
Much better experience than going to WeHo.
Saw the girl out of that netflix doco here
A great place to dance!!!
Expensive drinks, small and crowded.
Didnt have my beer
Happy visit!
Favorite place downtown!
Great place for a great night
Nice
Fun place to relax....
I love this place!
Chill and sexy place
Ok drinks.
Bored, ,,
Neighborhood gay bar
Give or take.
It was a BLAST !
Good place
I love this place😃😃😃😃😃😃😍😍😍😍😍😍
Love this place!!
Its a nice place. The food they offer is good. Precisely because it exposes the style of American food as a whole. The drinks and various drinks are also good, and the prices are accessible and not too exaggerated. At certain times of the day the place is quieter and you can relax. In the evening it fills up and is a party place, like all the clubs in the city. But in Los Angeles, there are thousands of similar places around the city, so its a normal place. (There is a rumor that it is a gay club, but I and all my friends present did not notice any attitude different from any normal club).
There was a woman inside
