La Boom

I was so hesitant to go after reading so many bad reviews, but I love Kinky and needed to see them again. This place sucks!!! Supposedly the time was at 8pm, didnt even open the doors at that time, they had us out there standing on the cold until 9pm, and that wasnt it, audio sucked!!! KINKY did their best, hope they dont come back to this place because I wont be going 🥺. Also, they take forever, dont respect peoples time, they have music and everything but theres a point where it just becomes boring (convenient for them because peoples consuming 🍺🍹🍸) Main band came out a little after 11:30 pm. Save yourself the trouble, dont go to La Boom!

Called and asked price for bottle service and they said 300. Got there and our first server said 400 and then a another guy comes and says 500. I didn’t like that all!! You’re just finding ways to get money. The food was trash ! Meat taste like paper. The food was pricey too! I could’ve waited for tacos that I would’ve spent at latest 30 not 120. Overall first and last time going there

Went to see kinky last night. Their performance was great but man the audio of this nightclub was terrible! At first it wasnt that bad but then the singers mic failed like 3 times. And the worst part is that they took foreverrrr to change them. Last couple songs sounded so bad i wanted to leave. Never coming back to this place.

Review for February 23rd, 2024.I came here with my husband for the Los Acosta /Los caminantes/ El TPO concert. I’ve never been to this part of LA but I was very excited since I’ve always loved Los Acosta and Los caminantes music since I was little.So many wrong things about this venue. We both didn’t enjoy the concert unfortunately. Parking was $40 which is a complete scam. We were not going to park our car in a neighborhood for it to get broken into either so we had to take the L. It was cash only too which was even more stupid. It’s 2024 and they still don’t have cashless options?? Maybe so they don’t have to report it for taxes? Anyways it’s still ridiculous that it’s cash only for parking.To say it was very, very crowded is an understatement. You couldn’t dance in general admission without bumping into someone. People wouldn’t move out of the way either for you to get by. The screen they had to show for the people to the back was a joke. The camera quality was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here even if the parking and concert are free.DO NOT go to La Boom night club. Save yourself the time and money!!!!

Parking is $30 and entrance is $20. Too expensive for the place that is empty plus staff are rude especially the security guard. Save your money go somewhere else.

Didnt eat there. Did see other patrons eating though. They seemed to be enjoying themselves.I was there for a 2 day Hip Hop Festival. It was great. The venue was awesome. There are a lot of balcony type views on the 2nd floor which made viewing the battles very cool. They also have numerous screens to showcase the event as well. They have at least 2 other small rooms for other events/music genres to occur simultaneously.Paid parking on site for the event. Not sure if thats the case for regular week nights/weekends.

$30 for parking and $30 entry just for it to be boring, I had high expectations from this club. What bothered us most was the security driving around the damn parking lot flashing their light as we were finishing getting ready/waiting for a friend. Like I paid you guys already leave us alone. Good luck trying to pregame before going in too because they will kick you out.

Parking a bit too pricey, cocktails 🍸 if they were $8 or $10, I would buy more. Instead of $15 each. Beer price is okay 👍 I rate 💯 overall.

I used to come here like 10 years ago when I was young and didnt care about quality. Today I came to an event and discovered why I don’t come here anymore. For parking it was $20, and when we asked if we could pay with a card or electronic they said only cash “because the box office doesn’t want to mix money.” Wherever that means. So we had to park on the nastiest if streets. My friend was in town with his band and they were playing here so they put me on their guest list. I went and the girl who was collecting the entry first told me there was no guest list. Then she changed her story and said that the band had let too many people in, which I know is a lie. She was such a…. Rude rude ruse snobby woman. I hope they fire het for her horrible customer service skills. Secondly she wanted to overcharge me as an alternative and at that point it was the principal of the thing. I will never step foot in this rathole again. I didnt even get to go inside so I cant rate the rest.

Parking is $10 (which is fine taking into account that it’s LA). But they also charge an entrance fee of $10 per female and $20 per male (which I think is too much). Aside from that, they have the audacity of charging $108 dollars for 6 shots of vodka, and $400 for a bottle, like if it was Dubai!!!The music does not take into account the variety of cultures - 80 to 85 % Mexican music. In the two hours we spend there, only two bachatas were played at the very end.I don’t recommend this place, and I would not spend another penny in it.

Well last Saturday was terrible service for the show ivy queen, people from upstairs they star throwing water to us VIP area, there wasn’t security people patrolling the area nasty nasty I pay $120 and believe was a night mare people pushing from the back to from no security control at the from stage my wife was hit in the face and I get wet from the people upstairs so was the worse night. So was real unsafe night. Over price for the service and the stupid parking so so expensive.

This place is ghetto. Went to an event that was so poorly organized and executed. No one knew where to direct us for “will call window” which ended up being some guy checking names on his cell phone, handing out paper raffle tickets. The bars were so disorganized and sloppy. Bartenders were pouring shots in plastic souffle cups. By midnight the floors were soaked, it looked like something had flooded, but it really was just the mess that everyone was dropping on floors, so waking was like playing Russian roulette…The bathrooms!!! This place should have bathroom attendants… I have seen better rest stop bathrooms than this…. Clogged toilets, paper all over the floor and not enough in stalls. At one point I asked a guy dressed in black if he was in line for the bar, he said “no” then when I went to get in “line” (or more like the cluster that was at the bar), he said I couldn’t stand there, he put his hands up, touched my arm and said I couldn’t stand there… I understand boundaries, but he wasn’t even wearing any type of clothes that indicated he worked there?? I have never had a club employee put a hand on me, when he was told not to touch me he said “I can do what I want”.Overall ghetto, dirty, and too many fights. I couldn’t give zero stars, but that’s where it should fall.

Friday night was a grand time a LABOOM! We danced, had good drinks & appetizers & the music was on point. I will return again soon. If you’re looking for a great evening in a safe place, this is the place!

Called ahead and they lied about almost everything. We were told when we made our reservations for bottle service that it was $300 and that included entry for up to 11 people. When we arrived it was $20 for parking, $20/person for entry, and $400 for a bottle. Then they barely ever came back by the table. Once there we were told that it was only 10 people and anymore would require the purchase of another bottle. We had to move outside to accommodate the number of people we had. But in order to get a second table outside you have to buy a minimum of 5 buckets of beer. The service was very poor as well. She came back once to refill our limes but that was it. I would not recommend. And to top it off the music was trash. If they would play a good song they would remix it no matter what. Heard the same song like 4 times. All night they only played about 15 minutes worth of good banda and cumbia.

This venue is horrible. I went last weekend to see Lunay perform and I was discussed. The restroom were so nasty, paper everywhere, the water didn’t work to wash your hands, and within an hour they were out of toilet paper. People actually got into the Storage room just to get some but even after some time it was out. The place felt like they had the heater on, and no it’s not because I was drinking, I was sober I had to drive back home. The venue just felt soooo hot and sticky. Never coming here again, spend your money somewhere else.

Terrible service! I came here last weekend and security is extremely rude. I do not recommend coming here. The group I came with ended up going to La Diosa in Glendale where we had a great time. Don’t waste your money at La Boom.

Won’t be going again. Very disappointed music was very repetitive all night long. They had a music shutdown for a cool 2 minutes witch broke the mood for most part. Terrible service they didn’t know how to make many drinks we asked for.

I use to go to this spot back in the day. thurs and sundays were free if u had the vip pass u can down load on la boom live dot com. the only good thing was that it was free. everything else was mediocre at best. this is a native hispanic club, most patrons only speak spanish. so most of the music comes from latin america. its a big spot too with 3 rooms. many trans genders there, so i stopped going. most of the patrons are locals. havent been there in 10 years. it is not in a nice area. my car got bloken into once. i went there dozens of times, but i would only go there because there was really no where else to go on thursday and sunday nights. Overpriced as hell. Only care about money and will screw over people just to get an extra $10. Was here for a two-day event, first day parking was $10, but second day we had to pay an extra $20 just for parking. And the worst thing is that, on their parking pass/ticket it says they are not responsible for any theft or damage. Paying all that money for parking and they dont even wanna take responsibility for anything bad that could potentially happen to the cars. Like what the hell am I paying you for?? Dont ever consider even coming here, absolute greedy scums that only want money and nothing else.

Great decor/vibe/crowd, the only dance club in CA that doesnt stick to strictly EDM but has the same ambiance and classy feel of the larger clubs without the uptight restricted feel. Sarah was great in setting up my promotion event and I would not hesitate to go back.

Could use a lot better dj/s.The place is popping but by 1am they turn on the lights to kick you out. A little above avg drink pricing. Not worth the $20 cover unless youre a female in which case youll get in for FREE :D (Sunday Review)

$15 car parking, $20 per person AND the dance floor is outside. They have an inside section but you have to buy a bottle to be inside otherwise you can freeze outside. $54 for a bucket of 6 pack beer.

I just like this place because its so spacious and tables to chill are always available. Prices are high $25 on Saturdays after 9:30pm I believe, the music is repetitive and they do play old school reggeaton, cumbias, Punta bachata and merengue but thats why I keep going back because I love that musicAnd by the way Im 24years. It does get crowded on the main floor so I always go to the second room which is smaller. I do hate the techno they put though. Parking is $10 on Saturdays. The crowd ranges from young people 18 to older people 40s.

Best drinks ever. 8-20$Thursdays of chica sexy its a must but if youre looking to hook up go Sundays, theres more girls, entrance vary free for early girls and 15-20$ for guys. The lights are owesome and has 3 dancefloors hiphop-dance, Latin music and rock, parking 15$, lack of chairs and patio.

To be honest I usually use to go all the time I use to love the music. But today 10/23 just went and I got really disappointed because. The Dj didnt put any rock and espanol or salsa or cumbia thats why this place was one of my favorite place to go. The money is to much. The Dj sucks.

Do not be deceived by the LaBooms guest list request for Birthdays or special events. La Boom DOES NOT HONOR IT! I had 10 guests show up to celebrate my birthday on 10/14/17 and every single one of them HAD TO PAY! be careful and do not be deceived the staff does not care to make things right and they do not even offer any complimentary anything. I will never patronize this place or bring anyone back to celebrate any special occasions. We must have consumed ten times the entrance with all the drinks that we purchased, but I will never suggest anyone going there again. They have good music but very repetitive. If your looking for a last minute place to dance this would be it. The drinks are pricey and not worth the pay but very roomy for dancing. Either way Ive had a few good tines here just pre-game before you go😉

Horrible customer service. First the Dj doesnt play a song we requested after I asked if we could request songs and he said yes. Then were in the car eating a snack before heading out and this security guy comes and flashes his light on us. He stood there waiting until we left but as I was warming up the car he flashed his light again and I pointed at my windows. I was waiting for them to become clear since they were all foggy. Very disappointed!

Im a white girl from Europe and Ive been to many places over LA and Orange County but I always have the most fun in La Boom. I was introduced to reggaeton 4 years ago and now I love it! The fact that in La Boom they play reggaeton, rock and some techno, mix of different music is just perfect. I cant leave the dancefloor during reggaeton so I can rest when techno is on 😄. I love that they have tables and seats. There is a nice waiter who always finds a seat for my boyfriend and me. The people in the club are ok. I feel like everyone comes here to dance to good music. Thats why there is lots of people of different ages. I recommend it, especially for old and new reggaeton songs lovers! 😉👍

The music is ok, there’s some good songs to dance. I don’t know why they tell you to sign up for the guest list if when you get there they charge you 25 per person, because the list doesn’t even exist, then you ask and they tell you that it doesn’t matter that you have to pay anyways.

Good music and environment but the security is not the best some of them just pick on you. My first time there one of the guys was bothering me just because I lost my bracelet and then they checked my ID and he was still looking at me and bothering!

The best place to have same fun after a long week of hard work, there is 3 dancing floors, u can live that stress in any of those 3 rooms. Regeton, rock en español, salsa, cumbia, tecno,,, well.

They always play same old cumbias from 80s or 90s they need to update to a new djay, far away much better clubs in Aneheim, like xalos, bravo etc, absolutely not recommended :(

This place is the worst. Security very rude... We paid more than $100 for each ticket and when we arrived 3 groups didnt show up...they just put up a sign that they werent going to be there. They gave other tickets without a date so they wouldnt complain!! Is a gotcha !!!! Dont waste your time or money here 😡😡

They let people in with tennis shoes and flip flops. Everything looks like you were in the alleys. They pass by offering roses 🌹 and again the DJ says WHERE ARE THE WOMEN WHO DONT HAVE A HUSBAND, the people drinking in their cars. So you know, be very careful.

I went to enjoy the concert but they have a security guard that threatens anyone who stands in front of them or in my case, because I was standing where he was going to pass, he threatened me so I would like to have an answer about this person because he did it to me And from what I could see, another person also insulted her and I think that is not correct.

The atmosphere was more or less, they have a good sound, the bad thing is that there is no AC and with many people it is unbearably hot that most of them complain and when you use the bathroom it seems like you are in an oven because of how hot it is. For the price they charge for drinks, they should at least put in air conditioning…. And the waitresses dont know what customer service is, you ask them about drinks or the snacks they have and they talk to you very badly and they dont even help you, rather they only serve the VIPS tables. Terrible, terrible, very terrible, one less client :/

We arrived at the place on time, entrance and parking very well and quickly, the waiter offered us a table if we bought 4 buckets of beer, we bought them and then he changed his mind, he said that there should be 6 or else we would occupy a different table, or I called security, as if we had stolen the beer, which by the way costs 10 dollars a beer. According to him, his supervisor arrived, without a badge and arrogant, that he would call security because we were at a table that did not correspond to what we consumed, security never arrived, I suppose because it was their own ploy, and also, the arrogance of wanting remove the table. He did not give his name, he only showed his worst face as an employee and as a person in blaming us customers. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IN THIS PLACE.

The security is arrogant, I was just going to pick up a family member, I parked in the handicapped spot (I have a handicap plate) and he told me to move from there, I told him my family is leaving and he told me, move or pay the $30 for parking. That place doesnt even serve to qualify. It was the first and only time I went to that place, I bought a beer and went out to smoke a cigarette. The atmosphere is very good but everything is very expensive, just for parking it is $40 and the rest is not to be said, it is very expensive for me and there are not many tables unless you pay VIP, I do not recommend it
