First timer last Saturday for a dual DJ theme night and was everything I hoped it would be. Didnt take long to realize I was not in Kansas (i.e. OC) anymore and that was exactly what I was looking for. All OC bars have become clones of each other all with bad Djs playing the same old rap songs youve heard a million times along with idiot F boys with bad hair cuts and rediculous neck chains. anyway, back to the Virgile. The size of the venue was perfect, not too big, not too small. The atmoshere was phanominal. Dark but with perfect lighting to make it cozy. Felt like I was in a 3D movie. Well organized by blocking space in front of the bar so you didnt have to fight through a sea of D bags to get a drink (like in OC). Crowd was definitely mixed but everyone was respectful and you felt free to be yourself. Already looking at the event calendar for my next visit. Will be back for sure. Note: The outside looks like an abandoned building and the area is sketch, but nice sketch for Hollywood area. There are 2 rooms, one larger than the other but I preferred the smaller room for the cool bar area.
**5-Star Night at The Virgil**My visit to The Virgil last Friday, in LA, was nothing short of amazing, especially because I was there to support my friend’s band, LADDERS AND ANWOY. The vibe was exactly what I needed – lively, energizing, and full of good energy.Watching LADDERS AND ANWOY take the stage, along with other talented performers, really showcased the diverse talent pool at this venue. Their sheer talent and passion were what truly stood out.I enjoyed a drink that was perfectly strong, complementing the whole experience beautifully. But it was more than just the music and the drinks; it was about being there with friends, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and making unforgettable memories. Can’t wait to go back. If you’re in search of a place with incredible music and a warm, welcoming vibe, The Virgil is the spot. Totally deserves all five stars for making my well-deserved night out amazing. 🎤🍹💃🏻
I spent over 100.00 on drinks that night wondering why I was not getting a buzz. When I started ordering shots I noticed the alcohol is diluted with water! :(. By the time I left 10 drinks in a was completely sober…. BYOB
The only thing, call me cheap but 2 drinks 1 was sprite was $27.plus tip? Wow! But cool place to see bands play and outside taco ladys food was great.
14 dollar beers and the show wasnt worth $30. Smoking section is a weird roped-off section outside. No ins and outs, I guess; the employee I talked to didnt seem to know what that phrase meant. I asked him if there was anywhere else to be besides the super crowded main area and he said theres another bar in a dark spot where I could see other people (in retrospect probably an upcoming act). Then when I started walking that way he yelled that I needed to go to the main area smdh.
Total sketch. . .$30 entry fee on a Thursday? Crazy. It was a total dive. . .small stage. . .very limited seating. . .and the bar has no stools. . .so people are standing around like goons. . .the sound system is sub par and the acoustics suck. . .Parking? Good luck with that. . .couldnt wait for my friends set to be done so I could leave.
Nice place. The drink were amazing dance floor too
Great casual and artsy atmosphere! I was there for Girls, Gays, and Theys and it was blast. Everyone there was super friendly, including the manager and doorman who helped me out when I lost my phone. Will definitely visit again!
Dope sound dope venue prices if drinks are kinda crazy tho
It’s okay. It’s competing with a lot of other places in the area. No Parking. so expect to walk. But there is lots of street parking if you look hard enough! The venue itself is cute. Bar service is weird. One bartender completely ignored me the entire night but the other bartender was great! The floor was sticky in some places but there was good room to dance. The bathroom thankfully never had a line. The bar was only crowded for a very few minutes. The booths were open for sitting. There’s a popcorn machine behind the bar— not sure the price but the bartender gave it to me for free. At my age (almost 29) getting to eat popcorn and sit in a comfy booth is my type of bar.
This spot let me down, although it has potential to be great! They show you to bring in did cause all they offer is salty popcorn. The stage is koo but small so 1 member of our 5 piece band had to play on the floor?Dark and slightly unclean...kinda have me grunge bar Vibes! The side that wasnt open looked nicer but still needs some cleaning...ijs
Cute little bar with 2 rooms where they often have different music on each side. When I went they had a rave jewelry vendor in the hallway which was cool (music was not rave music that night). Little stage in one room! Nice people were there. Bartenders were nice and attentive, whiskey sour was sub par but good for a club-style bar, lots of good beer options.
Bartender didnt know how to make some of the more detailed drinks like an LA Water, didnt bother to try or look it up, other then that, its essentially a tiny hole in the wall. Historic trimmings. Parking extremely challenging in area, but the venue itself was not bad for a small intimate show.
Place was pretty dead on a Friday night.
Mixed drinks are about $15 before tip. Its a great location for comedy and dj nights.
The don julio doesn’t taste like don julio here, wouldn’t be surprised if they refill bottles with other stuff. security staff was low iq.staff: “are you here for tEenaGe DrEam..??”, me: “em what?”, “we just want some drinks”staff: “It’s a private event”me “can we buy drinks”?staff: “only if you’re here for teenage DrEaM”we learned there was a cover to get in , he could’ve just said that in the first place…
This place is SKETCHY. $25 entrance fee and their card processing systems set off my bank to question if they were doing something fraudulent. Not to mention that there was 2 djs there that night and both were bad at mixing as well as there being notorious pick pocketers in the crowd. Go at your own risk
These stars are for the bar/lounge on the right, moreso than the crowded club section on the left. Its a good sized space with lots of diversity, so youre likely to find something to enjoy. It was full but not too crowded in the lounge and there was even some cool dancing. The music was spot on, great vibes. Again, cant speak for the club side on this.I got the lime rye cocktail and it was bomb. Lime a whiskey sour with a modern twist. Others drinks seemed too sweet so just make sure you know what you want before ordering. We had a great seat in a moody corner and felt right at home. Good for groups so bring a friend and have fun!
Went on a Saturday. The venue itself is fine. But the girls that go there are as stuck up as any Hollywood club (even though they dont dress very Hollywood). No one will dance with you. Always more guys than girls. Girls only dance with each other (which they can do at home, just like they can drink at home). Ive never understood why people would go to a social gathering like a club, just to be antisocial with anyone they dont know. It doesnt matter how respectful or polite you are. They dont want to be bothered by you. That said, the djs are usually pretty good on the hip hop side. And Im really rating my experience, not the prices of alcohol, which I imagine would be high at most clubs. But we all know that already. So, IMHO itd be helpful to get more reviews that at least mention the vibe of the people that go to these places, since they can negatively impact the experience just as much as the rest of the venue. But, since its not the venues fault that a lot of people dont know how to interact and be cool with others, it feels fair to give this place 3 stars ( as in its not bad, but I wouldnt recommend it to single friends looking for a very good time).
Very cool place to dance. Went here for my birthday with friends to dance after dinner. There is a really big room that gets super duper crowded and then a smaller room with a bar in it when you first walk in. Personally, we liked the smaller room better because there was more room to dance and have fun and the music was definitely more chill. This is definitely the spot to go if you like more off-the-cuff yet knowable, old school and new school Tunes to dance to. Im sure they have all kinds of DJs, but we really locked out the night we went. It was a really groovy and funky vibe with hip hop intermixed, and even like World vibes. Really good music and a really good time and super chill. Highly recommend.
Love this neighborhood bar, um, but I loved it more when the happy hour drinks were $6, not $8. In fact it was the main reason I went there so I doubt Ill pop in much anymore (I mean, theres just better happy hours too nearby...Thirsty Crow, anyone?).I will say that the cocktails are well-prepared and tasty if youre moneybags mcgee.Great ambiance, really cool place and nice venue for shows where you can find quite an array of people dancing sometimes.
Happy Hour all Tuesday night! Delicious cocktails and great service with a smile. I like going a little earlier to talk to the bartenders that really know their stuff. Love all of their cocktails and they have an excellent selection of beers on tap as well.
I’ve been here a few times with different groups of friends and each time the experience was pretty enjoyable. There are a few different rooms you can flow through to get different vibes and just enough space to dance if you feel like it. There is good booth seating along the perimeter as well to relax a little if that’s more your vibe. The drinks here are pretty good as well. Not full on craft bar experience but def more options and more care put into drinks than say - a dive bar (although they have their place too! I work at one lol)The only negative I’d have is that they are very slow with feedback or response time if they ever becomes a necessity. I have been attempting to get in contact with an employee there over the past 4 days though email, calls/voicemails, and even physically showing up during posted open hours only to find out they were closed. It’s obviously on the patrons to ensure they don’t leave things behind, but it is also always appreciated when bars and places like that make an effort to check in on their listed methods of communication. It seems to me like there’s no one there whose tasked with that as priority.
Went to support and listen to Deon Cole. The crowd was awesome, DJ As Is was great but Deon Cole took it to the next level.
This place was busy but I can see why. The crowd that was there was awesome, the music was great, and the drinks were good. There are 2 bars and 2 different DJs. The place was older than some night clubs out there. The parking wasnt so great unless you wanted to valet.very limited seating space. Dance floors were ok sizes. Moving around the big bar was pretty hard. It is a fun place but not so big.
Nice chill spot with a dark ambiance. The drinks were hella expensive, I suggest pre-gaming 😉. No parking at the venue and it is in a business semi residential area, so good luck.
Went for songs of 1984 night. Good vibe, good drinks, fun crowd.
We discovered this place through a friend and we always come back. Taco truck right outside and 7-11 across the street and they allow you to bring your food in. (We snuck food in and found out we couldve just brought it in). The music is always fun with two rooms playing different things. It does get pretty hot and moist in here sometimes. The bar tenders are super cute and theres a photo booth!
A nice low key spot in the early hours, great bartenders and the dual dj setup (one room has hip hop classics and is more chill, the other plays a nice mix of newer hip hop and club bangers, and definitely gets the party going). Would def recommend if you wanna get away from the big club scene.
This place has a nice local feel. The Doorman was quite welcoming and gave me a quick little rundown of the place the rooms the music, etc.We headed to the back room where we arrived at the perfect time they had just opened so we scored a table, we noticed there was a $5.00 drink special the Martinez we ordered two of those and I cant say enough about how terrible it was. We didnt finish them. We ordered a few more drinks and nothing won us over on flavor and not only that but Im a light weight so when theres alcohol in my drink I feel it from the first sip and these were lackin in alcohol besides the flavor. The music started out a little funky but not so much in a good way but as the room started to fill up the music got better. So we ended up having a good time here once the D.J. started mixing it up a nice mix of old and new, unfortunately the drinks never got better though so your best bet will be a beer. The photo booth was a nice end to our evening $3.00 a sheet not bad but they take 4 minutes to print so youll have to be patient.
Nice looking but the service was terrible , i get that your having a bad day or that you dont have enough supplies but telling the customer the beer liens are dirty or throwing out my drink without asking , making a drink with an attitude. We had bad service from two bartenders. Glad the last one was able to make me a drink without attitude. Definitely did not feel like going back. Valet parking is $7, valet guy was nice.
This review is in regards to the comedy show at the Virgil. How to get there:Best way to get here is by a Lyft or Uber. Street parking in the area is extremely hard to find and they do not offer any valet nor have a parking lot.Lines:Upon arrival there was a line to enter-- even though doors open at 7pm it took about 10 minutes after to open the place up.Staff:Drinks and bartenders are super attentive and friendly unlike other bars in the Silver Lake area.Cons:The only downside of this show and venue is that the show takes place in a bar and they do not have a seating area other than 10-20 folding chairs they use to set up as rows in front of a tiny stage-- a really tiny stage.Pros:They do allow outside food inside and the other half of the bar is open for more drinks, so there is no waiting time for drinks. The night I went to had a great line up and I will definitely come again but I do wish they would add more rows of seating!!!
Loved this place when it was Lil Temple, love it as The Virgil. Great music anytime of the week, the bouncers are always on point and friendly as well.Drinks are a bit over priced for my blood but thank heaven for 7-11 across the street😎.
I love the Virgil for comedy on Monday’s (The Hot Tub Show) and dancing on Friday’s. Their craft cocktails are also some of the tastiest in town. Good vibes, and two separate bar areas/ dance floors so if you’re not feeling the music in one area, you can just move to the other one.
It was ok.... would go again...but you know.💁 Ordered the Summertime Fine for $14. Music was great...drink was great...but the process of how they close well before 2am is kinda mehh. It was a Thursday night and there was maybe about 10 people in there. We were in our car and on our way home and it was 1:54am sooooo🙅
Nice enough. Had plenty of room for parties. Has a nice back bar where semi professional, beginner, fledgling comics perform for free. Very reasonable Happy hour for LA.
My buddy had a show here and 12oz drinks were $13 oh and a pbr was only $12. So if you are in the mood for overpriced drinks this is the place for you.
The last Wednesday of the month hosts the Slurring Bee competition where at the end of each round participants drink a shot before the next round. The fun is staying till the end when the alcohol level becomes a speech impediment. There is no food served here, so be ready to bring it from the outside. Comedy nights are on Thursday. There is only street parking. The decor is a mixture of a drinks dive, cozy, artsy, and risque joint.
Visiting from out of town, the staff here made me feel welcome immediately. The bartenders are great and really know their stuff. Top-notch drinks at great prices in a cool and comfortable environment.
Love this bar! There are such great shows every night. My favorite show is called HAGS! It’s the last Tuesday of every month. There’s always a huge crowd and a great line up. The hosts Steph and Daniel are soo funny. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area
Ive been to the Virgil a number of times and its a great experience every time. Ive been to comedy shows, DJ events, and tonight I just saw Terrace Martin live with Robert Glasper. Never know what could happen! They have an extensive cocktail menu too and experienced bartenders. Check it out!
I love the Virgil because its not a pretentious place. The bartenders Ive met are all very personable, the drinks are strong and creative, and the music is great! There are two sides to the virgil; the side where the main entrance is has a DJ spinning music, usually reggae, danceable, or classic hip hop/some combination, and the other side has a live stage where they sometimes host shows, live music, or a DJ. Both sides have bars and the bartenders are quick when attending to all the patrons. Street parking in the area is usually pretty decent. This is where I come when I want a good drink and to dance in a lowkey and laidback setting. There is some seating on either side of the virgil, but if you want a table or spot at the bar, I suggest getting there a bit earlier. And try the drink specials! Theyre nice if you enjoy cocktails that are a departure from the usual.
I visit here most frequently to go to hot tub with Kurt and Kristen on Monday nights. There is very limited seating here so if you want to get a seat I suggest arriving at 6:30 or earlier or you will be standing for the duration of the generally two-hour show. The lineup is always fantastic and for $5 you really cant beat it anywhere in Los Angeles, and the drinks are on happy hour until 9.
Ive been going to The Virgil since before it was called The Virgil. It used to be The Little Temple and was a local favorite for various special events. With the remodeling of the bar, I love this place that much more (and especially since I live close by now). They make a mean old fashioned and if you take bourbon instead, its even better.Ive always loved the venue because it has two parts to the bar: one side is the stage area with a dance floor where you can get loose and show off your moves; the other is a more lounge area with plentiful seating areas for mingling/chatting.Definitely a fun place for a date night or girls/boys night out kinda thing.Parking is valet or street. Street parking isnt hard to find if you know where to look :)
Had a wonderful time with my friend. Drinks are fairly price and the vibes are great! Music is all over the place which is good for music lovers
Love The Virgil. Definitely one of the best bars in East Hollywood/Los Feliz. They have great cocktails, and are a great venue to see comedy shows. I especially love Hot Tub comedy night on Mondays.
I went here a few nights ago and found a pube in my drink. I showed the waitress and she just laughed and moved on. Ive never felt so unhuman my entire life. Asked for the manager to comp my drink and was blamed for putting my own hair in the drink. Was told to leave the place, and had the cops called on me before I could even make it to the door. This avoid this dumpster fire at all costs.
This is a hole-n-da-wall, dive bar, but depending upon who is performing, youd never notice. L.A. has legendary performances up in places like this, throughout the city, so if you are going here for a particular act, buckle up, its gonna be a helluva ride. Small stage makes for an intimate experience, like the performance is just for you. (This night was LEGENDARY!)
The Virgil is run by an incredible man. His name is Adam and he is a savant when it comes to beverages. Last night, he made me the best Old Fashioned Ive ever had. He also taught me and my fiancee a thing or two about rye whiskey during his Whiskey Wednesday tasting session. I wish I could afford to come back every week. Sadly, that is this bars biggest stumbling block for a guy of my means. Ten dollar wells are just outside my budget. That being said, if you are a person of wealth and class, come drink here on a quiet week night. The weekends get a bit busy with the riff-raff. Make sure you take a picture or two in front of the wonderful blue and green wallpaper.
Not a bad hipster bar. Just the lighting can improve, its too dark. And they dont serve mixed drinks lol. That part crack me up, its a bar. Other than that, its a good bar not great but good.
Poppin spot for dancing and drinks. They have two separate areas with different djs spinning different types of music. One side is pretty chill and the other is for mingling and dancing. Friday and Saturdays is packed.
Thursday night after 1030pm is $5 at the door for funk disco night, its pretty empty til then. Street parking free after 8pm. Taqueria El Huracan (taco truck) is next to it. Awesome large venue with dance floor area, and lounge bar area, two dj locations.
Love love love this place. They have comedy on Wednesdays and dancing on Thursday-Sunday. Each night is a different genre. Go there and get some drinks and wear your dancing shoes.
Amazing Programming and shows and tasty tasty cocktails. Hot-Tub Comedy show is awesome on Mondays. Aziz Ansari to Reggie Watts, Zach Galifianakis, you never know who will show up. FUNKMOSPHERE with legendary Dam-Funk Thursdays is an LA staple, Whiskey Wednesdays for $15 whiskey Flights, ALL night happy hour Tuesdays, seriously could come here every night of the week. Usually a dance party Friday/Saturday, and probably one of the best juke box selections Ive ever seen, and a photo booth, Aaannnnnd the Taco truck outside rules $1 tacos mmmmm
A hidden gem! I knew I was at the right place when picked Buena Vista Social Club from the jukebox as I was sipping on a delicious cocktail made with whiskey, lemon, honey, and ginger caravan ... Went to see Reggie Watts and had tears in my eyes... super fun and funny show! I also loved the chill vibe of the Virgil, great staff and spirit selection :) I will definitely be coming back!
Cute and cozy place. Great comedy club on Monday nights. Get there early as it gets packed. Decent drinks. Prices are pretty good.
Their Monday night comedy show, Hot Tub has become a favorite thing of mine. Their craft cocktails are amazing and the rotating beera on tap are worth a look.
Love their comedy shows! Always reasonably priced and I love that they don’t do drink minimums. Overall a great intimate venue.
Went for Tuesday comedy night, with struggling comedians. One out of 6 were worth the trip. Service and ambience were laid back and fun. Definitely worth a return visit.
Cheers to this bar for protecting the feelings of men who may have felt personally attacked by this tiny woman of color who stood up and called out a performer who has a history of sexual assault. very brave of the employees to violently throw out the 411 patron, tearing her earrings from her ears and extensively bruising her while allowing other white male customers who were loud and drunk and heckling to stay..
The Virgil is my spooooootttt!! The bar is multi room, with different vibez in each room. From ratchet to afro funk, latin its the spot on Thursday- Saturday. Bartenders are good people, patient, and efficient. The place is clean , but dark and brooding at the same time. Its a place where you go to bump and grind or just chill with friends. Photo booth is a must , Always a hit. Definitely recommend checking out. See you there ;)
Fun night. Two DJs in separate rooms, the bigger room was your average packed club atmosphere and the other room was a little more chill. I would return. 💃💃💃
Very fun, place it definitely a break from the High brow places of Los Angeles!!! Beer are reasonable and good!!! I feel in love with Stout there !!! And the vibe and crowds are great
I paid my drinks with my credit card and I tip them $12 cash... then 2 days latter I discovered that they overcharged me $15 more for tip... I went to talk to the manager and he never showed up. I got fix this thought my bank... So if you go there, pay cash, because they are basically stealing money from the costumers.
Went to watch a friend play with her band on stage. Great venue. Plus on tues the side bar serves awesome tiki drinks!
The Virgil is a great local bar. Cute inside, lots of great live comedy. Great for a date, also great happy hour deals for really really good cocktails!
Shouts out to this club for not knowing how to physically remove one tiny girl with less than 3 bouncers on a Monday night. it didnt sound like she was doing anything wrong, and it was odd to see those same bouncers fail to remove other audience members who were extremely drunk and continually heckling during the show. The girls ejection looked like something out of an ICE documentary, complete with a gauntlet of jeering white people. If is what goes down all week I think Ill pass.
Fun place to go dancing, two bars - two different beats going on. You can dance to a dj in one room or checkout whats playing in the next. Lived it here
If different theme nights and the night we came it was like reggaeton Latina night and men than women were dancing we had fun nobody was too drunk and the only problem with security was kind of overbearing when I wanted to train my service dog to be around a lot of noise after I finally talked to his supervisor that they were, Natick and everybody had fun is also an excellent taco truck next door to catch this best tasting asada next to the Matador on Western and Santa Monica which is the absolute best butt too far away after a night of dancing
If you blink youll drive by it, good music, good vibe no dress code and Free to get in. Drinks were decent but perfect spot to dance the night away to hip hop.
Cool vibe but can be stuffy at times. Music was okay. Definitely more R&B and Hip Hop music. Drink prices are fair.
They had stand up comedy on friday night when they finished , and then 2 different rooms each with their own bar own music and its own vibe
If I could, Id give it ZERO stars. DONT GO TO THIS BAR!!!! Their staff is shady and rude. They keep their eyes open for drunks so they can steal their stuff AND the bartenders ignore whoever they feel like it.
Love this venue. Really great variety shows. Would highly suggest! Friendly staff and beautiful decor.
Great small bar, good service. It doesnt look much from outside but inside is another world. Went to see Hot Tub and it was great.
Parking is hard to find but a rare LA Vintage venue with great staff!
Went to a live recording of Throwing Shade here. Good venue, but show up early in order to avoid standing. GREAT cocktails.
Really nice venue for emerging artists. Olivia & El Prez definitely are supporting the culture in a major way. 💯💯🙏🏽🙏🏽❤❤☁🏴
Its a nice place. Drinks are not too bad. It just gets super crowded in there. Makes me feel uncomfortable, but thats just me.
Nice little venue... Why for a comedy show, really enjoyed it…
Fun bar with a great casual crowd, not all ... pretentious like a lot of bars and crowds are getting. Great happy hours.
Great venue that hosts some of the best comedy shows in LA. Monday nights 8pm Hot Tub show is not to be missed.
Reasonably priced drinks. Bartender was great. Its a pretty small place so the crowd is not overwhelming.
If you guys wanna deal with a business that dosent have a clue on how to run a business, this is the right place. The Owner is just a little little man.
Went to the Hot Tub comedy ahow there, it was great laughs! The space itself is also pretty dope, cool furniture and dark corners.
This place is always laced in the finest of vibes; the DJs engineer the dopest of flows and the bartenders obviously alchemists-- igniting spirits toward liberation.
Very funny comedians. Great drink selections and even better happy hour. Great LA gem for sure. recommended.
An outstanding venue with two bars, a solid selection of drinks, and an atmosphere made to dance and socialize, The Virgil is highly recommended.
Great local bar with great music and special events. Pregame before you come and its a great time 😉
Hot tub show on Monday was so funny. Happy hour all night. Great time!
Fun place! A bit on the smaller side but you wont notice once the DJ starts spinning.
Cool, chill bar. They host comedy shows and live bands every weekday which is awesome.
Great little bar with music and a happy hour that goes till 9. The house cocktails are great too.
Very nice staff.. Great place to have fun.. Awesome music n the hotdog lady is beautiful n very nice too..
Free Entry the place has two DJs Everytime I go I have a great time!!
A lot of the girls I hang out with love this place. I think its alright. Fun but busy on the weekends.
Excellent Monday night show, great bar staff, good room too!
The DJ that night was great. The entrance was free and the bartender made good drinks
Drinks are overpriced, bartenders were rude, a fight broke out and they kicked everyone out. I doubt Ill be back.
Good end-of-night bar with a quieter section for drinking and a rowdy section for dancing.
I Really like it! Chill drinks chill people Cool dance vibes everyone is friendly
Drinks were strong! Live music in the back on Friday and Dj inside. Got busier later.
Sweet!🕺 I enjoyed performances from up and coming artist and it was fantastic! 😃
Amazing bar that has very fun events. Great ambiance
Pretty typical bar, didnt really like the neighbourhood it was on, otherwise it seemed fine.
2 rooms in 1 building with separate DJs and bar. Great dancing atmosphere
Love this place and the artists that perform, the bartenders however can work on customer service.
Great open-mic comedy scene. Really friendly and attentive bartenders/staff too.
Great bar. I love the stand-up comedy night on Mondays!
It sucked. The drink prices are ridiculous n they are small as f...Dont recommend going there.very small venue as well.
The bartenders Jorge and Brian who served us are awesome.. very friendly... atmosphere was great.
Friendly staff and bartenders along with great comedy shows in a dimly lit but cozy room
Cool spot near Los Feliz they had a DJ and the drinks were good.
Good, -but super expensive 12 $ per bud light.... Idk....
Great place, good shows and occasionally standing room only.
Great music at Funkmosphere. Havent been here for 3 years and still funky
Fantastic venue. Love Monday’s Hot Tub comedy show.
Chill bar with an old saloon theme. The drink selection is pretty good but the place is super dark.
Fun performance space and bar. Kept the door open when it was cold outside so they lose a star.
Had a blast at Dirty Laundry, a reading series that takes place here. Highly recommend!
I went to use the mens restroom and the bouncer kicked me out after getting out. Dont know why, no explanation.
One of the best bars in LA. Mainly because it knows what it is and makes everyone happy....
Good drinks, good music. Super packed on Saturday night
Super fun, no cover, great dj, drinks and dancing!
Great music. Not too crowded. Had a great time
Fair price and cozy venue. Cool vintage bar concept
Awesome spot, cool music, nice drinks, all you need 👌🏽💯
Great spot for new stand-up comedy and dancing later in the evening.
The Virgil is a nice bar and venue. Their wait staff was friendly and prompt.
In the Movie A Star Is Born this is a Drag Queen Bar and Lady Gaga performs singing in French,. 😃😃😃
Excellent Hospitality. 🍻
$13 for a blue moon worse than dodger stadium
The club has a nice layout and design, but parking SUCKS!!!
Pretty decent venue, hip hop was nice.
Hot Tub comedy show Monday night is always amazing.
I go for the funk on Thursday night. Bad ass dj
Great comedy offerings. Came for Couples Therapy. Much recommended.
Nice bar tenders. Small and intimate. Not bad.
Sometimes the music is amazing in both rooms, sometimes it isnt.
Very dark, mysterious comfortable..great cocktails
