The cover isnt too bad, usually $5-10 and the bartenders were very friendly which I appreciate! But honestly it gets a little too crazy some nights. The dance floor was so packed we couldnt dance at all lol and we kept getting shoved around a ton. I got hit in the face a few times by accident. Many drinks were spilled. You couldnt even walk through the crowd, everyone was packed in like sardines even outside the dance floor like at the bar. It was insanely hot and everyone was sticky and sweaty lolol. I love this place in theory but respectfully I think they need to set their limit lower for how many people they allow in at one time!
I was once a regular here several years ago and quit coming after some negative experiences with service and small crowds. This place has REALLY changed, and for the better! Theyve done a lot of work on the inside apparently and it looks very modern like the big city clubs you see in Chicago. The bartenders were attentive and engaging (def different from years past). The place was very clean and it was a crowd of beautiful people that showed up for a Saturday night. I enjoyed it, and its been a while since Ive been able to say that about a club in Louisville. On a side note, the atmosphere also felt safe, something you cant say about many clubs anymore either.Tip, dont arrive before 11. I got here at 10:30 and almost left because there was literally no one there. An hour later, a big difference. By midnight, it was slammed. Definitely a late crowd.
Great Music ... great Vibe..Wish a little more space.. and not let so many guys in without Girls. Cant be letting groups of guys in without Any women. Throws off the ratio.. other than that The DJ is On Point!!!!!! Great atmosphere.
Dropped in not realizing it was Galentines Day. Quite busy, lively crowd. The staff was super generous and accommodating squeezing me in. Again, thank yall. 😊 Immensely enjoyed the smoked salmon toast ... to die for. 😋 ALL the flavors, smoked salmon, cream cheese, pickled onions and cucumbers, sliced boiled egg AND Everything Seasoning -- balanced to perfection. AMAZING!!! 🥑🍞👏🏾 The Aperol Spritz absolutely matched the salty, umami of the toast. 🍸Light, slightly bittersweet, chilled with bright orange for acidity. I seriously cant think when Ive enjoyed a meal at brunch so much. I will definitely return. Parking small lot and street, too. Accessible. Top notch staff and service. 👍🏾
After a first poor experience with an event being hosted with poor communication about reservations, we were given a second opportunity to try this place out for brunch. Myself and my girlfriends are all busy so we don’t get to hang out much, but we enjoyed each other’s company over delicious holiday drinks and a filling (if not a little pricy) meal. The Hub definitely redeemed itself in our eyes, and the staff were so incredibly sweet and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place!
Came here for the first time for brunch with my friends because i read that they had really good mimosas, they definitely did not disappoint we ended up drinking 3 bottles which are $16 each which to me is a good price because we where able to get about 6 glasses full from each bottle, the waiter was super friendly and attentive, their loaded fries where amazing we had 2 and i had the chicken and grits which was a little spicy but it was delicious will definitely be coming back .
We went for brunch. I tried something new, the eggs in purgatory, and it was great. The nachos with vegan chorizo were the favorite appetizer. Fried pickles tasted like they were made with sweet pickles instead if dill, which was weirdly good.Would like sweet options on the brunch menu like french toast or cinnamon rolls.
We had a pre-Valentines Day get together for 10 peoole on Sunday and once again, Tracy and her team came through for us with flying colors.....and we will ALL be back!! The Sunday brunch food, drinks, our waitress and rest of the staff were phenomenal.4 of us in this group had our wedding at The Hub, a wedding you might ask??....YES!! Tracy helped us with everything, from the rehersal dinner, to the reception, and everything in between.Looking for something different for your next group function, wedding, family or other event give The Hub, the opportunity. Theyll definitely take care of you!
Went with a group for their Sunday Drag lunch. Extremely LOUD from background music and several competing TV screens and other patrons trying to be heard over the cacophony. Unfortunately our 8 were seated in a far corner near a staff only entrance and at show time half of our group couldnt see anything without getting up and standing in the aisles. The show was fair to middling and consisted mostly of performers grabbing tips from outstretched hands. Food itself was good and prices fair.
Unexpectedly good! We had two delicious signature cocktails on the patio with our dog. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. We chose the nachos and veggie burger and were delighted with the quality. The nachos were gourmet and beautiful. The burger was moist and fresh. We will be back!
I was looking for a place to hostal my birthday and somebody recommended The Hub to me. I got in contact with Itzel and she was amazing!! She helped me through the whole process and made sure my birthday was a night to remember. Everyone that went had a great time thanks to Itzel and I will continue to go there because of this amazing experience!
My wife and I got some cocktails. We split several items because we hadnt been there before. The broccoli Melt was amazing! It was a Friday night, and we were the only ones in the place. Service was solid too.
I was definitely impressed, not only did they buy roses from me but the crowd was positively jumping and the drink were on point!!! I just fell in love with the whole atmosphere ❤️🌹🙏🏽😘 THANK YOU I LOVE YOU SO MUCH 🤩
Dj aint that great... Ive been on other occasions and music was great but not may 18 2024
Went for brunch. Avocado toast was 4 toast like crackers for $12 which was ridiculous. Other than that drinks were decent but expensive. Atmosphere was nice. The place is really nice. Waitress was wonderful. Be careful if youre vegan most drinks are made with milk or condensed milk.
The atmosphere is not as good as other clubs they play beats over and over again and bot any good songs when its not just beats and the drinks are over priced
Had brunch. Great service. Nice outside patio dining area. Huge place. Music. Bet it is booming on a Fri and Sat night. Food is more fresh and organic than most places.
Great food and they make you feel safe. The layout and flow of the restaurant makes sure everyone can safely social distance. The even take your temperature before they seat you for an added measure. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well. The brunch has a tasty $1 - $2 mimosa special or a bottle for $12.
We found this place on accident. Once my wife said it had pool tables, I was all for it. The service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. The food was very good. We had a fish sandwich and the black bean burger. Both were great. The best part, was the booths near the pool tables we up high, bar stool height. It was fun being able to play pool right next to where we were eating. A lucky accident turned into a fun dinner and night out.
I have never had a bad time here. The happy hour drinks were awesome, the food was awesome. Our server, Taylor was superb, she even boxed up our leftovers which is a huge deal to me. Her service alone added that fifth star and made me want to do the review. Oh, and I loved the music!!!
This place is a very clean and well kept bar. The lighting is perfectly dim, staff friendly and deco on point. Very modern and spacious. The drinks are good and staff welcoming. Only thing is on every tv was the same sport channel. For such an atmosphere, it doesnt come across as a sports bar. Maybe it was time I was there. Who knows.I say check it out. Youll like it Im sure!
Fantastic place to get a drink, host an event, enjoy some trivia and event some pool! The drink and cocktail selection is decent and their bartenders are both knowledgeable and helpful with good suggestions based on preferences.Menu is straight-forward, but getting the opportunity to try their catering option (the Taco Bar) was great. The assortment and options were phenomenal and the it was one of the highlights of the event I attended to.The venue looks very modern and welcoming with plenty of space to host a private event, a trivia night, attend to some patrons looking for a good time, and get a couple of pool matches going. Definitely recommended it whether to host an event, enjoy a drink, have some food with some friends, or wind down after work with some of the amenities/events they offer.
I must say, wasn’t expecting to enjoy my self as much as I did, the food was top notch , service even better . One of the managers came by and checked on us at some point, pretty sure her name was Itzel. She was amazing .. I’ve been around these parts for many many years and the crowd today was fantastic , everyone so nice and open. I will definitely be back
The food was pretty good. (Fried pickles were excellent) but I cant give them more than two stars because of the service. Our waitress did the best she could, but there were only 3 servers for the entire restaurant and this is during $5 burger week when there are many new customers trying out this restaurant for the first time. They should have been over staffed instead of it taking us over 30 minutes to get our check and get it settled.
The food was pretty good but probably some of the worst service we have ever experienced. Took over an hour and fifteen minutes for a chicken sandwich and a burger. Our waitress never checked in on us. Had to flag her down to order to more drinks. Half apologized when our food came out. My wife’s chicken sandwich came with a fried egg on it. My wife politely asked if it was supposed to and our waitress responded “ I think so”, it didn’t. Our waitress then rudely threw down our check when we asked for it. Needless to say, we will never be coming back here.
Went to drag brunch. The food was really good. However... it is the worst place for a drag show. There are 2 separate rooms so you cant see the queen when they are in the other room. Also, it was a buffet and they charged 20% gratuity to the price of the entire ticket (not group, single ticket).
Could give zero if I could. Tried to celebrate my friends 22ND birthday. We are all OVER the age of 21 and are legal US citizens. We were met with the rudest attitude from security because our friend is from Illinois. Met with attitude and when asked to seek law enforcement to reaffirm the ID we were denied. Then we were asked to stand outside in the pouring rain. HORRIBLE. EVIL SECURITY.
The $18 chicken dish was really gross & the Brussels sprouts were way undercooked & literally nothing on my plate was seasoned. Everything was dry, tough, flavorless & disappointing.I did try my friend’s Korean BBQ wings however & those were DELICIOUS. Like those were done RIGHT.The service was decent but I could tell our server was impatient with us because we hung out & ate & drank for 3.5hrs but in our defense they were NOT busy at all. By the end of it we were the only table there. It was my first experience there & overall it was ok, I wouldn’t eat the food there again. The loaded fries were good but not $15 good, not even close, like even a little. I could justify maybe paying $6 for the quality of fries. The shrimp tacos were also trash. I just wish the food were better bc I can justify stupid prices for good food.
The two of us arrived at 11am for Sunday brunch. There were 4 other customers inside and we were told there was a 15 minute wait.Once we were seated and ordered, it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive, pancakes and biscuits with jam. The food was barely warm and the biscuits were not the homemade biscuits they used to serve. They were reheated frozen store biscuits for $7.00. This had been a fun brunch spot.
So I didnt try any food but the drinks were really good, I liked the atmosphere and we all had a great time!!!
I really love the food they offer but the service can be very poor. My girlfriend and I went for brunch, we got to the restaurant 12:15pm and the food got to us at 1.54pm, absolutely ridiculous. The server kept coming to say that it was not going to be any longer but it was and she did not even re-fill our water or coffee. Totally disappointed because like I said, the food is really good but is unacceptable that they take one hour and 45 minutes for eggs, pancakes and nachos. Not worth the time tho
When the waitress brought the food I told my date unimpressed but i ate my words as soonn as i took first bite, we were hungry but fish tacos & pulled pork burger was amazing. The hostess was new but she was great. It seemed the waitress had a lot of tables though she was good not as attentive host someone but didnt have so many tables.
I went to The Hub for the first time on a Sunday during brunch and I like it. It has a good floorplan, casual feel and the staff when I was there, were really good and seemed in good spirits. I stood at the bar and had a bloody mary, which was excellent. Best Ive had in awhile. I recently discovered I live nearby and wanted to check it out. I have the impression that it probably looks good at night. Im going back, to have brunch and experience the evenings there.First impression, very good.
The Hub was a nice bar that we visited while we waited for our basketball team to do the escape room next door. We were there around 4 in the afternoon. It was quiet. The bartender was very good. Definitely a nice place to relax and have a drink.
I love going here for a happy hour drink after a long day at work. The staff is pretty cool and I enjoy chatting with them. The food is great, especially the meatballs! Their old fashion is killer so try it when you come in. :) Shoutout to Bryan the bartender for his great service!
Honestly, Im impressed tonight! The spicy chicken sandwich was much MUCH better than expected! The mac and cheese...no joke..made my jaw drop. Better than Jeff Rubys! It was pretty dead tonight, so this is more based on the food. I did hear they just redid the entire menu, so thats good I suppose. I hope you all enjoy like I did!
Drinks are great and so is the service and atmosphere. Great place to be around gay friendly people for brunch! If youre being SUPER picky, the food is alright. But not really any complaints.
I loved everything about The Hub. The only issue I had was the sitting area we were in was so dark we couldnt read our menus without using the flashlight it light from our phones. Our waitress was very helpful and gave suggestions on what to order depending on our appetites. The atmosphere was wonderful just needed a light over in the corner. They also had an outside eating area.
The hostesses were great. Felt like family they were really attentive to our needs. Food was awesome nice variety. Atmosphere was welcoming. The owner came out to see how we were doing and checked on how we were enjoying our food and drinks
Salad was great but burger was a total miss. Medium-well no pink was ordered but it came out nearly raw. Overpriced from some springmix to nibble on. Staff was very nice tho.
Great meal, great service, great atmosphere!! My friends and I will definitely be back!! (The Brussel sprouts will change your life. The chicken breast sandwich was moist with a seasoned crunchy breading.)
Tyler was an excellent server! He was prompt to refill our table with anything on the low side (I’m a glass half full guy myself), was always smiling and interacted swimmingly. The food was had awesome presentation and tasted super yummy. Although strictly for feedback purposes the fish tacos would have been a lot easier to eat (as the portions size go were great, “big eater here”. ) had they been served on larger sized tortillas. The bathroom did not have a changing station, which I will love in 7 months but, my friends couldn’t utilize the other night nor use of any kids cups. I would really recommend this place for a pre-meal on a night out with no kids, or a night wrap-up snack. Ask for Tyler!!
Came for a birthday celebration and the service was very good. They were very accommodating for a large group. Food was delicious and drinks strong. Three pool tables and a patio area with fire pit round out this establishment. Great happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m.
One of the staff was very rude and unwelcoming to us today and we don’t understand why. We felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome and ended up just going to a different bar after we finished our drink. We got there right at 5pm when they open and ordered drinks and sat outside and she kept telling us that we weren’t allowed to sit anywhere outside because those tables were solely for people ordering food. So we all stood outside like cattle even though we were paying customers and I think we deserved better treatment than that. The lady also just had a bad attitude. We won’t be returning.
Great food. Great atmosphere. I had the best shrimp and grits meal ever. The drinks were also phenomenal. We spent about $80 for a meal, 5 drinks, and 5 games of pool, but it was well worth it.
Really cool space. Pool tables on one side. Garage doors open when it is nice outside. Nice patio. I had a nice cocktail. Ordered the fried crab claws which were small and not very meaty. Wouldnt order those again but will try something else on the menu.
Do not recommend going to the bar. Have not ate inside but numerous bad encounters from terrible service and I was sweet as can be and kept tipping the bartender good because it was so awkward and I was embarrassed for the guy. I was with a group of friends and the whole experience just made me want to walk out and go to the next nearest restaurant. The first time I talked to the bartender he felt like he didnt want me there, I asked for a menu 20 min after being there, there was a group of trashed guys at the bar who broke glass and when the hostess finally realized it after 20 min when the bartender was right there, and i saw what looked like to be the manager come out with the flash on her camera and take a picture of their vodka bottle that had a bug in it which I understand happens but in front of customers with the flash on for us all to see?
Latin nights on Fridays are dope! They play pop and reggaeton 💃🏾 the dancefloor could be bigger and it gets a little crowded but definitely super fun place 🔥 Shout out to All Sensation! Awesome DJs 👏🏾
I went here for brunch, and it was over an hour wait. The server we had did not seem that quick to get us drinks or refill them. The chicken and grits were good, but incredibly overpriced. Also, they called it fried chicken but it was basically grilled.
This was my second visit and while this may be a great place to meet friends for drinks and a small bite due to its location... I would not waste my time or money having dinner. The corn fritters and poppers were pretty good but the boneless chicken wings were comparable to Tysons anytizers from the frozen food section. They were bland and like everything else way overpriced. Their $14 pimento cheese burger was served on a burnt bun that was 3 times the size of the meat and too chewy to eat. I ended up eating the sandwich without the bottom bun. Nobody in my party was a fan of the fries, they were served already soggy, no crunch in any way. My friends all got different entrees and they were all mediocre. Drinks were OK, the service was fine. I would only return for drinks on the patio. There are far better restaurants within walking distance.
Pretty overpriced. Portions quite small. Service was poor. Food was okay at best, but definitely not worth the price. Would only recommend if youre a hipster looking to spend way too much on an atmosphere that consists of sitting in an old Jiffy Lube and waster served in an Erlenmeyer flask.
Service was slow had 6 in our group they brought out two meals took another 30 minutes bring out three more and another 10 on top of that to bring the last one out. Later the waitress apologized and said four of the Meals got sent to another table and gave us one dessert to share between the six of us! Fries were great the over priced hamburger.that i got was overcooked and terrible
Ive now visited The Hub during 2 visits to Louisville. They offer a nice selection of vegan options and are willing to work to accommodate the needs of vegans. The staff was delightful and welcoming on both visits. They balanced good service with allowing us time to chat and catch up! Overall, both experiences were quite enjoyable!
I went there and tried out their special burger called the Big Cheese while my grandson just got the childrens burger. When we got them I looked at the meat on my burger and it was about half the size of my grandsons. I wasnt impressed at all, however the waitress was very nice and nice atmosphere.
The hostest was very nice and friendly from the start as was the rest of the staff. The drinks and the food matched the quality of the setting, just fabulous! We all had a great time and plan to make this our go to spot from now on. Everyone should give it a try, prices are very reasonable as well!
The Hub has become a regular place for my friends and I. The atmosphere is great, delicious food, and creative drinks. It’s definitely a weekend go to spot, but I’ve also really enjoyed getting dinner there during the week!
I enjoyed everything about my experience except the price. Meet up with some friends to chat and eat. I found the food, drinks, environment and even staff enjoyable. Just wont be returning here anytime soon before another good pay day.
Their advertised events (ie: kitten brunch/basic bit** brunch) sound like a lot of fun but are pretty over rated. Foods yummy but not for the price- too expensive. Nothing really special about the atmosphere.
Went for a Sunday Funday brunch. Cute place. Good vibe. Friendly staff. There wasn’t any entertainment the day we were there but apparently they have DJs and drag on a lot of Sundays. Would definitely go back next time I’m in Louisville.
This bar has an awesome vibe! As a scientist, I of course love the test tube pitchers and general garage bar industrial style of the place. I would like it if there were more outside seating, however what they have isnt bad.
Stopped in for one of their specialty Burgers drinks Burger Week. The food was amazing. It was great to reconnect with old friends and we enjoyed their outside patio. Its great to see The Nightlife on Frankfort Avenue doing so well.
Weve been here three times and have enjoyed each visit. Today we had brunch. I highly recommend the biscuits and jam. We also attended a wedding and reception. If your looking for a unique venue, consider their private event space.
Great spot for date night or meeting a group. Good drinks and food for the most part, though I do not recommend the salmon unless you love dill sauce. The fish and vegetables are swimming in it. The burger is good though!!
Drinks: We ordered cocktails. Their best of Louisville margarita tasted like an average margarita. It was a but frothier than a regular margarita. We tasted no habanero or anything special for that matter. The shaved coconuts were interesting though.I got the Moscow mule. It wasnt very good. It had a gross taste to it, like they used sweet and sour mix. I would suggest something else.Food: we got the fried pickles. They were outstanding. They give a ton of pickles and a tiny bit of dipping sauce. The ratio was way off.Husband got the piggyback burger. He said it needed more bbq sauce and should be served with pickles as is most BBQ. The sauce on the burger was a bit overly sweet. Could use some vinegar.I got the black bean burger. The bun was burnt on the inside. I like it grilled with a little char, that adds flavor. This was burnt!! The burger tasted fine. The consistency was beyond gross. It tasted like someone chewed up beans, spit them out & smooshed them into a patty. The lettuce was like the rubbery decorative stuff that goes on the side of the plate (that nobody eats). Avocados tasted like nothing. Tomatoes were small and thick cut. They dont work well on a sandwich. The whole thing just kind of tasted like youre eating mushy flavorless food.( Like when you have a cold and cant taste anything. ) The fries were well seasoned but so thick, each fry is a mouthful of potato.Service: very friendly, answered questions, a little slow. The place: looks like a cool place. It was pretty empty for a Saturday evening.
If given the opportunity to leave less than 1 star I would not hesitate for one second. The menu consists of mostly fried foods with what seems like little to no effort contributed toward the preparation of dishes. The sides are overpriced which seems to be intentional due to the obligation customers have to order a la carte foods. The service was mediocre and the wait time for the receival of our dishes was the furthest thing from a decent amount of time. While I am aware that at times waiting at restaurants is inevitable, there were very few people there. Overall extremely disappointed and would most certainly not recommend to anyone.
We were given attitude by the server when we asked to move to a different section - when we were only trying to help our kids behave by sitting near the games! Food wasn’t nearly as good as it used to be. Fries were burnt. Chicken sandwich was bleh. Server was nice enough about sending our uncooked burger back - but the cook put the patty I had already cut in half and bitten into back on the grill. Gross.
Why didnt we think of this earlier?! We were toiling away trying to figure out where to go to eat when we stumbled into the Hub. Unsure as to what their food menu was like we decided to sit down and get a drink and see what happened from there. My girlfriend got a cocktail, i got a beer, and we hung out and poured over the menu. I am a glutton for fried pickles (say what you want) and the fried pickles at the Hub were amazing! They tasted like bread and butter pickles, so a little sweet, but they were divine. For an entree I ordered the bbq jackfruit tacos and good lord they were amazing! Normally vegetarian food at restaurants and bars is squash and beans but the jackfruit tacos had me thinking that somebody loves me! up there in vegetarian heaven. I was happy it was 3 tacos too, and they were delicious down to the last bite. I was even picking up the little pieces that fell outta my tortilla and popping them in my mouth (much to my girlfriends chagrin).I am so happy to have found the hub, with some good vegetarian options on a delicious food menu in a hip bar in a cool part of town that I had obviously overlooked too many times. Thanks for the goodness. My compliments to the chef for the veggie options!
The food made up for the incredibly slow service that they had this night. We got our fried pickles appetizer and hour after we ordered them, we didn’t realize they were going to be sweet pickles but that could have been our fault. It took another 30 mins for our entrees to come out, they weren’t even too busy either.
Very nice, new decor, tasty food. We went as a group and they accommodated us well. Food was good but dessert was the real star. Parking was a major hassle because their lot is so small so we had to park on a side street.
Friday night the place gets packed. Most of the crowd is college students. Dance floor, vip section, bar, and outdoor seating.
Literally the best brunch Ive ever had, 1 an 2 dollar mimosas, the cinnamon pancakes were awsome. The service was excellent very attentive, kind an patient. Definitely will be coming back because they have Bozy Bingo every 1st an 3rd Thursday of the month an Wine Wednesdays.
The Hub is a welcome addition to the Frankfort Ave. scene, offering the first close-to-club like atmosphere in the area. The food is quite good, and the drink selection about what you would expect for a mid-range bar with competent tenders. The outside area is excellent, and I appreciate that they occasionally have dog-friendly events. The interior is also nicely appointed in a smooth blend of modern and industrial decor. There is shuffle board and a jukebox for those seeking slightly more stimulation than the cuisine and libations may offer. However, sometimes the crowd is a bit lacking in size and lackluster in intrigue. Not a fault of the venue per se, but definitely a result of this being a pseudo-club and not a bona-fide dance floor.
They were great, I used to love this place. Unfortunately they decided to change up their potato side dish. This change wasnt for the better by any means. Once you were served Skillet Potatoes (as the menu suggested) now you will be served a hash mess.
The new chef is amazing! We had the salmon toast and bacon wrapped dates and both were incredible. Love this place! Also Albie makes a mean Old Fashioned.
Place is very well kept. No rift raft! !!! Drinks are a little pricey, but the atmosphere makes it worth while. Havent tried the food but will soon. This is my new spot!!
Hipster kind of place. Went for burger week and the burger was disgusting--apple slaw on top of beer braised pulled pork on top of beef Patty in a soft roll type of bun. Each element individually was ok but together clashed. More than one in my party felt the same way. Water was served lukewarm with no ice and our server was less than attentive.
Excellent and creative signature cocktails and in-house varieties of bitters, extracts and syrups. Combine this with curated top shelf liquors and deliciously put together versions of classic drinks, a well thought out wine and beer selection, and a decent bar bites menu and this has become one of my favorite date night destinations.
Not impressed. Louisville has a great food scene but this is not a place that embodies such things. Food was mediocre for what they’re charging, service was slow, and the yuppie crowd this place attracts is obnoxious. You can get better and cheaper bar food elsewhere.
The tastiest cocktails in town! The Wren Bird was my favorite. Love the patio and the old movies on the tvs in the dining area. Great for watching a game too. The pimento cheese and the wings are worth going back for. Saturday nights are very lively and they event have dj.
Something for everyone - games, late night DJ / dance floor, great cocktails and delicious food, unbeatable patio space. The $5 happy hour is incredible! There are always fun events happening here, too.
This review revolves around the bartender. I apologize for not knowing his name, but his suggestions were variations of the traditional bourbon Manhattan and the brand of the sweet vermouth they use, as well as informing us of the Brooklyn which uses a dry vermouth. Ok, so I wasnt aware of this, didnt care for it, wasnt charged for it. The Manhattan that he made was delicious, and the bonus was the time he spent imparting his knowledge.
Its a great place to party, I love the vibes of the music and there is never an issue or fights anytime me and my wife go..❤️❤️💪💯👍
Terrible, the waitress forgot our order. The owner came out to apologise for long ticket times. Blamed burger week on the long times. Everyone around us had burgers, we were the only ones who had the wait. An hour and a half mind u. And they brought us a check.
Terribly bad. Waited 1 hour for our order to be Placed. Placed! It may be due to the Burger week, but hey, if they say they are starting at 3, why would they start placing orders at 4?! Most definitely will never come back. Only reason was Burger week, but the prices will make you not return.
Lotería night was so fun!!!! everybody was nice servers and especially itzel!!! love see people and family having a good timealso food was so delicious and the drinks too ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Decided to do an event here among with friends to celebrate after proposal party. The event was a surprise which my now fiancee had no idea that our friends from all over the country will be there to surprise. As we walked through the doors, we were greeted with Are you here for the surprise engagement party for X and Y? to which my fiancee looked at me and said He is X and I am Y so yeah we are here for that. My once in lifetime moment that Ive spent months planing was ruined in that instance. I blame poor management and nothing will bring that moment back. On top there was a big halloween night planned where people kept coming into our designated room and started eating our food. Management didnt care for that either. The only reason I didnt go plan an event anywhere else is because everyone else was forthcoming about their halloween parties which was expected but I feel I was blindsided by Hubs management.Food and Drinks were good and I would probably rate this place 3.5/5 but just because their server (Jasmine) ruined my surprise party for my fiancee, giving them one star is still pushing. Thanks for nothing.
Whiskey flight and avocado toast, what could be better on a Sunday morning. Place is great. Extremely reasonable whiskey prices too!.
The chicken and grits are amazing!!! Fluffy and flavorful, so delicious! And they participate in animal related fundraisers, which I love. The patio is dog friendly :)
Expensive, but worth the money. We all like the food. We were treated like foreign life because we were the only group with children. Not saying we wont go back but its not on our must visit list.
I live in the Frankfort Avenue area so this is a great place to walk to.I enjoy the lively crowd. The big wrap around bar ensures enough space that you can always walk up and get good service. The outside area is comfortable.Great place to meet up with groups. The food there is quite good too.Burger week burger was awesome!
Cool place for a younger crowd. Disco? Was played on all the TVs. Food was ok. Not great. Service was alright. It would be a good place to drink in the summertime lots of outside space.
I live on 3 different coasts during the year, and am quite particular now when it comes to food and cocktails. The Hub is outstanding! From the food, to the drinks, to the wonderful service, and the fabulous patio, this is a Louisville MUST! Wow! Great job The Hub, Louisville!!!!
Oh my god! $12/ bottle of champagne during brunch and it’s DELICIOUS!! The food is also pretty good and Corey is always super nice to us. Thank you!
It was ok. They were having a disco night when we were there. Didnt really hear much disco while there so Im not sure what they think disco actually is. Only had drinks so cannot comment on food.
If you are looking for the best mimosas in town go check the HUB out! They have really good breakfast food as well! On Sundays before 3pm they usually $1 mimosas.
The staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly, drink menu is top notch, atmosphere is excellent, and the patio is amazing! The chicken and grits might be my favorite dish in town--anywhere!
Every time I come in for a drink and food, the bartenders are engaging, fun and accomodating. I had Trevor as a bartender tonight and he made a delicious Sazerac and initiated much-needed conversation. Glad to live nearby!
Fun atmosphere and place to go with a group. The food is much better than expected. I have had inconsistency with the food here - only reason for 4 stars.
Nice place! I didnt like the lobster roll sliders. It was nothing like I thought it would be. The server immediately took it and offered me something else! So sweet! Oh...and the meatballs...amaze-balls!
Large bar with pool tables and other games. Food menu is unimpressive, but typical bar fair. Good selection of spirits and brews on tap. Parking is difficult.
Finally got to come here after knowing about this place since it opened...great food and drinks and service..I knew it would be good but it was better than I expected! The fun atmosphere is a bonus also!
Great service and cool restaurant. I think the food itself could use some improvement it was kind of bland. The fried pickles are an exception to that and I would recommend getting those
Met there for Birthday celebration.Bar has cool tenders tending to the patrons.Music is diverse.
Great food, and an enjoyable atmosphere! On a side note: you may have to wait for the empty tables to be available before you will be seated.
Nice place with a convenient location. The buffalo chicken sliders are the best thing on the menu and the chicken and waffles were terrible! The happy hour menu is pretty legit as well
Highly recommend trying their new vegan options! I had the Vegan Rosa Pasta and it was phenomenal, I can’t wait to come back and check out the potato toquitos and hibiscus tacos!!!
Food was good, despite the small selection, service was below average. Paid $50 for dinner for 2 and 3 drinks. There are about a dozen places with equally good (if not better) food, better ambiance and cheaper.
We had a really great brunch! Excellent service and good food. Would recommend.
Pre Game meal on a Friday at 6. Not very crowded even with the outside closed bc of weather. Service and food were both good.
Food was good. Drink prices are good. Great brunch spot. Outdoor patio is cozy.
Excellent experience. Service was great and very attentive. Special request food for a 10 month old was no problem for them. Food was good too.
Walked out after being completely ignored while waiting at hostess desk to be seated. Numerous servers walked past us but refused to make eye contact. Place not crowded so I could see no excuse except poor management.
Nice atmosphere and music, tasty cocktails. Was there early so a great place to meet up with friends and chill.
The food was incredable. If your in a rush i wouldnt advise because it was a little slower than your normal resturant but a perfect place for a date night. Loved the patio
Great atmosphere, great food! Clean and inviting. No dessert options though, but plenty of spirits available!
Family Friendly -- great time, good food, good drinks, Pool table, Ms Pac-Man and Galaga, what more can you ask for. Can hardly wait to return. definitely a place to visit with a friend.
Not too crowded on a weeknight. Our Burgers and fries were great! The bartender makes a good old fashioned.
Good food and drink selection at The Hub. I’ve always had pleasant and kind service. They have indoor and outdoor seating options.
The Hub has a great atmosphere and drinks but the quality of the food is terrible. I hope they put a lot more effort into their food because I actually like the Environment but I will never eat there again.
Service was poor. Waited 45 minutes after placing an order. Waitress asked a manager to come to our table, never showed. We left without receiving food, an acknowledgement, nor an apology.
Weekend brunch menu is great! I really enjoy the vibe of the Hub, and they have great mimosa deals! Will definitely be back.
The food was really good, but the service was lousy through no fault of our waitress. We were with a group of about 10.We arrived about 6:00 pm and we didnt finish and leave until around 9:30 pm.The food would have gotten 4 stars or better. The service would get 0 stars.Maybe they were just short handed.
Funday was a good time and I appreciate gay-owned operated businesses that are inclusive of all. Nice job!
Neat place, food service. Just went for a cocktail. Bourbon came with 3 cubes of clear ice. Very nice
Great small bites place and very cool vibe. Wasnt overly impressed with the food, but it was good. Would definitely come back.
The Big Cheese Burger was delicious and the fries were some of the best I’ve had. Great cocktails too.
Tops for casual food. Great selection, tasty and the service was outstanding. Good selection of cocktails and draft beer.
The place is nice, the menu is limited, the personel was so nice and attentive.
Nice folks. Enjoyed the outdoor patio. Menu is quite limited but still a strong recommendation.
Every single time I come to this restaurant my group and I have an amazing time! Extremely clean, great food, amazing drinks, PHENOMENAL STAFF!
Stephanie was awesome and she made my night. Thanks Stephanie for making us feel at home. One bartender to another you rock.
Alyssa is amazing! she saved our phone that we left at the bar! this place is dope but alyssa the best
Great food and wonderful service! The menu is constantly being updated with fresh additions and the late night atmosphere is live.
This place is a TARDIS. As in, its bigger on the inside. They were friendly to us even though I am clearly a nerd who makes occasional Doctor Who references.
Had the Salmon, it was excellent. Good food and atmosphere. Has pool tables and outdoor seating. A little pricey.
Great outdoor space. Best fried pickles in town. Late night bites. Cool setting. Plenty of special events.
Extremely slow service and high prices. Why have two bar-backs working when you only have two bartenders? Bartenders wait on their friends who go behind the bar to get service while ignoring the people standing in line.
Too high price for a bloody Mary that was all tomato juice and never checked to see if we needed anything. Will try brunch maybe that will be better!
Outstanding anytime on the weekend whether it is Friday Latin Nighr or Sunday Brunch.
Great food and drinks and service! They are also dog friendly and have yappy hours and proceeds go to local animal rescues..highly recommend!
Good burgers and pretty decent happy hour drinks (until 7!). Fun to play pool for a little bit.
Huge space, great patio and the food was amazing. Will definitely be a good place to go when the summer gets here.
Late night snacks until 1am. Decent food and service is ok even though you wait on yourself. Drinks and food are too notch though.
A more open bar/restaurant where you dont feel like your personal space is invaded and a TV or music is blasting in your ear. Definitely a new go to place!
Service was good, drinks were good, atmosphere was great, food was delicious! Highly recommend the sweet potato fries!
Chicken sandwich was burnt and literally as thin as paper. Service was great but definitely won’t be back.
Love the bottles of mimosa, although the brunch menu is a bit limited.Friendly servers.
Service was great, as was the server. She laughed played along with our bad jokes. Great food.
Drainks were amazing. Food small portions and a bit pricey. I will definitely return for drinks.
The hub is such a cool place! Great atmosphere and drinks and the staff is on top of everything. Great experience!
Fried pollock fish sandwich was great a long with the boneless wings. Nice atmosphere and vibe
Over priced drinks. The food was okay just basic bar food. I would not recommend and I would not go back.
Great atmosphere and delicious food! They have quite a few vegetarian and vegan options.
Whats not to love about this place? The drinks are top of the line, and the delicious food is always interesting.
It was ok. Not a good place if youre trying to eat and have conversation unless, of course youre yelling at each other
Stumbled in there on some kinda Latino night. Thought I was in Rio de Janeiro! 😳. Didnt know enough Spanish to hang. Lol.
Fun place, cool location. Bartenders arent the friendliest but atmosphere is awesome!
Nice place. Accessible. Food was good. Waiter was excellent. Nice atmosphere.
Great looking menu, waited 20 minutes without service once seated. Unfortunately we decided to leave.
Cool atmosphere and you can’t beat $1 mimosas for Sunday brunch
Great food, and, the best place to party and have a awesome time!!!
I want to try absolutely EVERYTHING on the menu at The Hub. Great service, extremely fast with the orders, and the food is delicious!
I only gave it a 3 because the atmosphere is great and the customer service was good. The food is subpar.
I am actually only giving a 4 because the service was amazing and the ambiance was cool. The food was very average.
Had a surprise birthday party in there party room, food, drinks, server, was great and lots of fun!!!
Id rather eat glass shavings for two weeks than eat their food again. Drinks are on point however.
Great atmosphere. Good drink menu and pet friendly.
I love the atmosphere and the bartender is awesome. I didnt have to wait on anything.
Awesome food and great service! I will be back!
Only been here a couple of times since it is on the other side of town but each time was a great experience!
Nice atmosphere, good food...a bit pricey for what it is tho
Great breakfast. EDM fan check out Djzhoods on YouTube
Pretty large venue, plenty of space for work gatherings or festive friends .
Good food, nice atmosphere. Servers are awesome!
Great after dinner location for drinks. Great service and staff...
Amazing food and drinks very chill!
