The Palm Room

I was introduced to The Palm Room about 2 months ago and when I tell you they dont miss there, they dont miss there. The food is always on point in my personal opinion and the service is top notch. Its genuinely a family environment. The drinks I tried where on point. Its also a night club as well but I havent been to that portion of it yet. Its black owned and it really gives you a feeling of the black family reunion assuming youve been to one. Im mixed with black and white and trust me there is a huge difference lol I highly highly highly recommend this spot.

It survived racial segregation yet brags about age discrimination? So gross. Free advice? Its younger crowds who keep this type of business open long term....basic math.

This place is extremely to small for a bunch of people to be gathering in large crowds! I came here for the first time and didnt enjoy it due to the small one room venue and it was extremely hot with no air so if you go bring a portable fan with you.

Ive been living in this city all my life, and I can count home many times, I came here. I had a ball, a ball andddd a ball. Karioki night!! I felt safe and really enjoyed myself.

Man its been hard finding a chill spot in this area, being from Mississippi. The Palm room gave me my music and bartenders from my drinks on point. Great price for a table and service. Smoking area outside👍🏾. It a great feel to feel comfortable, when you are so far from home

Came with family for my brother 50th birthday we from Michigan, and when I tell you the vibe was everything. We danced all night the music was on point we really enjoyed ourselves we most definitely will be back.

They are open New Years Eve. Food is soooooo good, very well seasoned. Good music. Definitely 35+ but as a 30 year old, I am enjoying it so far. The crowd picks up after 11 forreal. But free entry before 10.

I brought some colleagues and clients from out of town to Joe’s and they LOVED IT! My North Carolina client was astonished with the bourbon selection and the Indianapolis client had to get an extra order of crab cakes to go. Brought my DC client on a night with jazz and he was impressed. As an artist, I need my clients to fall in love with the vibe of our city & Joe’s Palm Room did not disappoint. The bartender treated us really well and the chef even cane out to greet us on the last visit. Lunch service was quick and I could tell the food was made to order. Highly recommend!

Love this place! Apparently renovated 2 years ago, the interior is still dazzling like new. Fully stocked bar and the food is amazing. I got the buffalo lemon pepper wings (75 cents on Thursday) and the GM even let us try a delicious dessert that may soon be on the menu. So impressed. Nice venue as well with an intimate corner stage for music, comedy, etc.

Tara the bartender is the WORST Attitude of any bartender in Louisville. No wonder she couldnt hold jobs at Double deuce or Hole in wall. Who hires someone who talks down and rude to customers. Just a terrible employee..She needs a master class in customer care because she doesnt care. DUMP HER FROM YOUR BUSINESS. SO MANY COMPLAINTS FROM FRIENDS ALSO ABOUT HER TERRIBLE ATTITUDE. go work in the jail if you want to talk down to grown people who are her senior.

Stopped in for lunch with my husband. We had BBQ wings, chicken Philly (special) and Cajun chicken pasta - service was quick and everything came out piping hot and delicious. Our server/bartender was AWESOME - very kind and attentive. We can’t wait to come back to listen to some live music!

Beautiful place for live music in West Louisville. It was a pleasure to play there a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed by the beautifully decorated interior and nice parking. I look forward to being there again. Highly recommended!!

Been A Vibe For As long As I can Remember

Decent, small, crowded, great drinks, great DJ usually, I heard that the food is hit or miss but I haven’t tried it. I’ve only been there once but they have weekly functions for the 30 and up crowd after work…pretty cool.

Great place to hold your event or just for a Friday night out to hear jazz and fellowship with like minded adults. Definitely a 35 ⬆️ crowd. Looking forward to an expanded menu and appetizer selection .❣️

Walked in to the first open mic night for Louisville vibe to support a friend of mine the security lady was very rude to start the night. Then my 6 month pregnant girlfriend was asked to not sit at seat that was reserved for pre-paid guests that was not even there at the time. while occupying one seat due to the rest of us was standing I asked if she could sit there until the guests arrived and was told that was not okay. I will not return to Louisville vibe until they return to nirvana. The bartenders were slow as well with 3 of them present only 1 at club nirvana and he was alot faster and ran the bar. Also walked out with a drink that I was not allowed to return into the venue with. the same drink that was allowed to walk out with. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Attended the Katt Williams after-party. Arrived around 12am. Was so very disappointed about the service at the bar. Charged $20 to get in and they only had 2 bartenders trying to accommodate the large crowd they had. Got in line the first time and was in line around 20 minutes with still no drink. Got frustrated and tried again still waited about 10 minutes. I must say the establishment was a nice set up and THE DJ was on point.

Arrived on a Friday @11pm. They were charging 5.00 entrance fee and Only 4 ppl in the establishment so very slow for a peak time. Did notice the entrance fee was selective. Several other individuals walked in with no charge 1hr later..?? I did ask the owner, who justified the inconsistency, by saying the door ppl knew the individuals and he was only the owner?? Weird statement for him to make regarding his establishments clear inconsistency. Bartender was accommodating. She did not know how to make a New York Sour but was willing to try and learn. Kuddos for her. Food was decent, ordered garlic parm wings and fries. Do I recommended this place NO.. if a owner cant hold accountability for inconsistency in his establishment I would hate to see what else he turn a blind eye towards.

The Palm Room is a very nice establishment, but DJ John Q was all over the place. He needs to stick with one era at a time. He jumped from one era to the next which confused the audience. Please have him practice his sets at home before he executes them to a live audience.

Joes palm room has got to be the worst establishment since it opening. Who ever did the carl thomas concert need to quit and join the circus. It not hard. (Knowing numbers matter)
