Before I go to a place, I always check the reviews. Because of some of the recent Google reviews, I was nervous that the pat down at the entrance would be inappropriate. Thankfully, it wasn’t.Once inside, my friends and I ordered continuous drinks at the bar. We found a nice bench under a big tree to sit down. Although it was a hot day, some electric fans were blowing in our direction, nice breeze! They also give free water. (They probably don’t want anyone dehydrated.)The disc jockeys played very nice music - reggae, afrobeats, dembow, kompa, hip hop, etc. I was impressed with their smooth transitions from one song to the next. The bathrooms were clean. There was toilet paper, soap, and paper towels; no mirrors though. It’s probably to discourage people from taking too long in the 1-person use bathrooms. Why only 2 stars for this establishment? I was perplexed when 1 female bartender with black hair in a slicked back hair style (who wasn’t there when we first arrived) was arguing with 1 of my friends. My friend (we were there to celebrate her birthday) complained that the bartender didn’t give her an adequate quantity of liquid for the $15 drink. What a shame! One bartender ruined the vibe for the awesome ambiance that the bouncers, DJs, servers, and other workers impressively created. Brick manager - fire that 1 bartender. Don’t have a bartender argue with a patron on their special day, their birthday. We exited the venue with a sour impression of the Brick establishment, and took our dollars to another club/lounge.
This place meets the marl for open party. The Dj was great playing songs from all over. The dress code was not strick. ITS AN OUTSIDE CLUB. They have a couple of booths and a couple of tables. Mostly standing room. The place is small and can get crowded quickly. They have Hookah $85.
Only complaint for me is you might have to wait in a long line sometimes but it’s totally worth every second once you walk in TRUST!Baddies every where 3-1 ratio!!!!Music is ELITE!!Affordable drinks and the chicken tenders are super super fire!!Also, hats off to the security for doing such an amazing job keeping everybody safe!Overall Brick is a legendary experience if you’ve never been here
Great vibes and atmosphere love the diverse music and the scenery. Also if you’re looking for great service ask for breezy she is an amazing hostess and will make your night special .
Relaxing atmosphere with good music. It gets really crowded on weekends but during the week it’s a nice spot to have a few drinks and some laughs. Thursday nights and Sunday evening are a really good time go check it out whenever you’re in Wynwood.
They need new Djs on Sundays, that set was pretty weak. For it to be one of the only spots open on a Sunday they should come better than that.
I came for my birthday and had the best time! the drinks are good, security is on point and the music was a vibe! overall 10/10 experience would highlyrecommend!
Brick is hands down my favorite club in Wynwood! Always good music that passes the vibe check. Bottle and drink specials every night. They always suggest the bottle packages and help me out right at the front door! Definitely recommend!
Really cool place it does get packed and you’ll have to wait in line so get there a bit earlier!Everyone was coolin. Great vibes!
Went to Brick Friday night. The atmosphere and venue was awesome. Dash was our bottle server. He was amazing and made sure we never stopped having fun all night.
Unfortunately, the bar services at the event were disappointing. Despite having a fascinating pineapple machine, the staff struggled to accommodate simple requests like switching a drink. This lack of flexibility and efficiency tarnished the overall experience.
This place was recommended by a friend for us to visit on our trip to MIA. The vibes and atmosphere of the place were pretty great IN THE BEGINNING. After being there for 2 or so hours, we were told that someone had “bought” the table and we had to move. There were no signs reserving tables nor did any member of the staff come and explain this information to us after sitting down. The staff was very rude and demanding about us moving because a promoter bought the table….it was very disappointing as a customer that patronized the business simply because someone else “paid” for a bottle after we’d spent money buying drinks, hookahs and etc. This information should be clearly established from the beginning so that customers know what to expect when they sit down or specific tables should be reserved for people that want bottle service. But to simply be told to leave an area we were sitting in for hours prior is extremely unacceptable. It’s all about the principle!
If you want to have the time of your life and want to experience nothing but good vibes and atmosphere, This is the place to be. I visited with friends and we had the best experience. From the drinks to the music everything was top tier. They make sure you are well taken care of and u leave in good spirits. 10/10 definitely recommend.
Went in the evening, the staff was professional but I was shocked by the intrusive pat down of my cleavage, with no prior warning or consent. After that I enjoyed my experience but my recommendation to the staff is to at least say ‘I’m going to pat down your chest, as a part of protocol’ (if it truly is protocol).
DO NOT VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!. We spent $500, & they tried to kick us out cause we didn’t’ purchase a bottle, which a bottle at minimum is $300. It was several tables that didn’t buy a bottle that didn’t experience this problem But yet they CHOSE TO MESS WITH THE BLACK FOLKS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!SECURITY IS FULL OF CRAPPPP!!!To address the owner’s comment! It was several Hispanic tables that didn’t buy a bottle that didn’t have any problems. However, they chose to ask the black folks to get out their seats. It wasn’t until we address this issue, that the Mexican tables were asked to leave their seats for bottles reservations.AS PAYING CUSTOMERS, THAT SPENT $500 ITS RIDICULOUS THAT WE SAT SOMEWHERE FOR 3 HOURS & GOT ASKED TO MOVE B/C SOMEONE PURCHASED A $300 BOTTLE.IF TABLES ARE RESERVED FOR BOTTLES, PLEASE INFORM PATRONS AHEAD OF TIME OR PUT SOMETHING ON TABLES TO INDICATE THAT.Instead of making it seem like I’m making this about race. Please address how your security treat individuals. As a paying customer, you are ignoring my concerns.WE WERE MISTREATED. & RULES AREN’T EQUALLY ENFORCED.In addition, THEY TRY TO CHARGE YOU TWICE FOR GRATUITY. 20% gratuity is automatically included in every purchase, which they do not inform you of unless you throughly look at the bill. When they hand you the handheld POS, they have it on the section for you to include an additional gratuity. If I haven’t clicked the back button, I would had never known that gratuity was already include.ITS VERY SAD B/C WE WERE ENJOYING OURSELVES UNTIL THIS HAPPENED.AS WELL, the owner’s comment demonstrates how he feels about patrons & their concerns.
I had the most exciting time at a club called brick in Wynwood Miami it was so exciting so fresh exhilarating the music the atmosphere and you have a lot of extra correct everything is there too just the right club if you ever go to my check that club outbreak is in Wynwood I’m loving it every time I get back to Miami there’s one coming
Amazing nights, Great service and an amazing team of people. Breezy was the best most def wanna go every weekend
Came here with some friends and bouncers inappropriately pat some of us down. Women beware, they inappropriately grab and touch you here. Dont come to this untrained and unprofessional establishment.
They created a new rule that men can only use the porta-John bathroom. Frequented 10+ times and never experienced this rule until today. Me and my group of 10 people left.
Yoooo the light guy is amazing i felt like i was at a concert keep that guy hes the most professional person on the clock.
First time visiting Brick yesterday and I had a blast. Atmosphere and music was on point. Shoutout to everyone for making sure we were well accommadated.
I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. BEST CLUB IVE BEEN TO IN YEARS. THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, I FELT SAFE WITH THE SERCURITY.ESPECIALLY THE SHORT FAT GUY IN THE BACK, HES STRICKLY BUSINESS!! I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE LOOKING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!!(FATZ)
We were so excited to come from out of town and visit , unfortunately we were highly disappointed!!!!!!!! They dropped our bottles off and never returned to refill juice, ice or hookah. After we found someone to bring service to our table she was very annoyed that we asked for new juice due to some weird particle floating inside insisting “it’s just pulp”. When we requested a hookah fill no one came for an hour, when we were able to get and employees attention again to let her know we were still waiting for hookah and ice she pointed at the hookah station and said,” you might as we’ll go get your own nobody feels like doing all that” ( after paying $800 dollars for a section I was really told to go get my own hookah and my own ice from the bar ) I have never had such terrible bottle service out of all the places I traveled. Now let’s get to security!!!! They were rude and rough upon arrival . The bathroom lines were crazy long (which expected when there is two one stall unisex bathrooms) we had two people ahead of his which means we were next to use the bathroom. Security came and bum rushed in front of us and escorted 6 girls to go before us allowing them to completely cut the line !! After asking how they thought that was right and what priority status they had to completely skip a line of 20 people . Other people in line were upset as well and security was screaming at us to relax and pointed to a tip bucket and said who ever wants to go next can make a contribution.Another note … half the bottle service staff was hanging out in the section next to us and the other half was in the closet near the bathrooms sitting down.
You MUST pay $350 or $360 for a bottle of your choice that 5 people can share to enter this establishment. The section was literally a picnic table which seats 6 people! The hookah and food was basic. Money is upfront when ordering.Birthday sign was different and awesome and the DJ was good as well. Establishment closed at 12 due to covid and mask were mandatory.
This place is amazing! The Hookah girl Breezy was super nice she took our order and took it to our table instead of making us wait. The entire time is super nice.
Nice vibe, great music, but the drinks are not cheap.
BRICK MIAMI IS THE BEST PLACE TO BE WHENEVER YOU ARE IN MIAMA.I am an event photographer and I have been doing event photography for of 6 years. I work in different countries and states with a lot of different demography. So, when I say that BRICK MIAMI in Wynwood is one of the Best Place I look forward to take pictures, you better believe it. From La Cultura on Thursday Night, Social Sunday - Day time and Volume -Sunday Night Time - I am always leaving with amazing pictures - Dont believe me, then take a look at the pictures below. Apart from the pictures, the From the entrance the Security are professional and ensure that you are secured, the Hotness are always on point, ensuring the guest are attended to - whether its your birthday, celebration and guys just hanging out - they have you covered. The resident Djs Junior, Red, Bulletproof .... just name a few plus a whole slew of international quest Dj are able to read the vibe crowd and play music in such a manner that you have to absolutely enjoy yourself. The tables and the ground are always clean, because someone is always walking around to make sure of that. Wow I almost forget, they are slew of Celebrities that has been to Brick Miami - and on any given week or night you do not know who you will see. I could go on and on but if I do, I wont be able to complete this review.
No place to wash hands in left bathroom (so unsanitary) and no AC. Poor experience.
Be careful with this place, they giving you free access early in the day, but when is late night they request to move from your table without no previous notificaftion. The waiters are very aggressive, telling you that they are going to call the police if they do not leave the table because of people who bought bottles, they do not have any sign on the table that you have to know that that table is previously reserved. The waiter calls security and they force you out even if youre not doing anything.
Great music with staff that cares ab customer needs! The bar staff is great and took care of my large group in a relatively timely manner despite the packed night (we went on a Saturday). Will definitely be coming back and recommend- also plus for being the latest open spot in Wynwood
Great space, and very attentive staff as well! Will recommend for anyone looking to have a great time in Wynwood!
Please note that whomever was manning the bathrooms on 12/24/2023 at approximately 12 am allowed another party of the opposite gender to invade my privacy after two attempts of letting the opposing party know that the restoonwas currently in use. The opposing party was NOT stopped by security and attempted to enter the restroom that I was occupying, twice, even after I YELLED that it was occupied. I understand that these are unisex restrooms, but as a former first responder, I was HIGHLY disappointed and displeased with this establishment and the security measures that had taken tonight. Not only were the doors not able to lock, but I literally hadnt been in there more than 10 seconds before someone of the opposite gender attempted to FORCE their way into the restroom, TWICE , thus making me feel unsafe and within a HOSTILE environment. Whoever was on bathroom shift tonight on 12/24 at approximately 12am had headphones on the ENTIRE time, on the blue station and he was a black male. As a woman, I felt COMPLETELY UNSAFE AND the individual that had the ONLY job of manning the restrooms should be terminated indefinitely.
Love it here!!! Ask for breezy!! She’s the best bottle/hookah girl, interactive and just a good vibe all around. 10/10
Club is trash DJ cuts off every songI would not recommend
Now a days they just let anybody come in, even some under aged kids that do whole lot of nothing but take up space and want to jump in peoples section. Used to be one of my favorite places in wynwood but I guess u just grow out of certain spots. Times have definitely changed. Can do without the headaches. Bar and waitresses are always on point.
At an Afro beats party. They’re charging $40 at the door. Drinks are $14 each. Bottle service $381 (cheapest) everything is overpriced at the door. You’d think they make it this way for crowd control but truthfully it’s highway robbery. It’s always the urban events that do this. They don’t even offer drink specials. As a local there are way better places. The DJ is good.
Isabel was the best hostess at this spot shes always smiling and always has great energy. She def treated my table well seated us quickly and made sure we were good all night.
DJs always on point. Attentive staff. Security on point. Saturdays are wild & Sundays are a vibe
Brick be lit and the music always on point, Breezy’s energy is dope and always with a smile while serving, if you want to have a fun time i recommend going to Brick
I was there in town from Houston this past weekend and ordered me a drink. The bartender advised me that my card didnt go through. I explained to the bartender that I needed to see what was going on. I did not know that my card company had placed a lock on my card. So the purchase didnt go thru. Before I could explain this to the bartender, a guy came over to me and said, You will need to leave because you ordered a drink and didnt pay for it. I was taken back by their business ethics. First, you didnt even ask what happened. All you know is that I didnt pay for a 17 dollar drink, and basically, thats all that mattered. Well, if thats how you treat out of town guests, you dont have to ever worry about me coming there when I come back to Miami. I hate that this kind of service was provided because it could have been handled in a whole different manner.
Yesterday was a vibeeee hookah girl made sure we was set up right all night. She was working overtime to make sure all her guest were serviced well. She was amazing and provided great service for me and my friends. Ask for isabel for hookah service !! Top notch
My experience at brick was amazing. from the moment i came in the host breezy came and instantly made the experience easier for us. the entire team was amazing!
Usually free to enter when it’s early, the music is great and the drinks are decent priced if you get there a little earlier. I got there at around 11pm one night and two drinks were about $19 as the night went on my same two drinks were $36. I don’t know if there was a happy hour earlier or not but that happened. Decent spot to hang out with friends before going to another place I think.
Great experience and environment. Highly recommend the host Isabel she’s great energy and took care of our party well on Sunday. Will definitely return.
I love the place! Love the music they play, my favorite night is Sundays! They have headphones where you can switch around different stations to hear the different DJ’s they have playing that night! And the hookah is amazing and specialty drinks too!!
Me and my brother had two bottles and a vip section. The security guard had a fight with a random guy in the club and broke one of our bottles. The bottle was not replace. Other then that the music is good. Just dont expect good customer service.
Great spot with good vibes. Breezy is by far the best! always smiling with an amazing energy.
Music is by far some of the best/most diverse in Miami (hip-hip, RNB, afrobeats, dancehall, reggaeton, etc; NOT an EDM place). Ambiance from the people there was ~okay~. If you’re with a fun group, you’ll have a blast. If you’re out to meet people, not so much.
This place was super packed. Our friends and I could barely enjoy ourselves because there was no space to dance. Every 2 seconds, we were being bumped. Not the type of place I want to party at.
Horrible DJ. Wouldnt shut up the entire night.
I got my iPhoneSE2020 stolen there a few months back also saw a big fight break out with a bunch of girls there.
Much better places to go. Security just got a problem, trust. If you look like you winning, security just don’t want you alive. If your deep don’t come here, security will get intimidated and try justifying reasons to confront you. Didn’t work in my case but found the attempt at confrontation hurtful.
All I have to say is I received fake Cosamigos! I spent over $20 dollars for a Cosamigos and pineapple it was terrible it tasted like just juice! So I get a shot of Cosamigos and it was not Cosamigos! I’m a bartender Cosamigos has a certain taste you can not fake it👎 It was definitely bottom self tequila in a Cosamigos bottle period! Frauds! On top of being charged 50$ entry fee! Frauds!
The only issues with this place are the single stall bathrooms and the separate bars for alcohol and hookahs. There is only one bar for each, you cannot order drinks at the hookah in the back. If you have bottle service, youre not guaranteed to see your bottle person again to order drinks. The atmosphere is good and the venue is packed with people every night on the weekend.
Absolute trash. Don’t waste your money
DJ was good...vibe was right...it was just so humid and hot...they need more fans to surround the dance floor...not having them blowing in certain locations.OR they can be rotating. Nothing major. But to allow for patron comfort, having a cool off area might be a good idea too...
Atmosphere is good any giving day. Food is the average no biggie & bartenders are friendly & guards do their job
Good for a turn up, but its not worth spending the money here! We spent over $400 with a section just to be accused of trying to steal $20 worth of food and paying mandatory gratuity for a rude server. Manger just as rude as the staff! Ill be back, but definitely wont spend the kind of money I spent this time! Communication and attitude is trash!!
I went here for the AfroCode event on 3/24/21. I had a great time. My only problem was I never received the burger and fries that I ordered. I went to the cook and she said she didnt see my order. The manager told me he would refund my entire purchase which was $33.60. He took my receipt and to this day, I still have not been refunded. Im glad that I took a picture of my receipt. If you order food make sure you keep your receipt or get your order.Update: A manager looked into the situation. The transaction was reversed. My bank stated that reverse transactions are removed from my account as if they never appeared. It will not appear as a refund. My apologies to the restaurant. Thank you for looking into the situation.
Last time I was here on a Saturday it was so packed I couldnt even move. Nobody was dancing, everyone was just standing around looking toward the DJ. The line was super long, but guys could pay 30 to skip the line. Definitely not worth it. That being said music is always good here and drinks are fairly reasonable.
Very cool bar to go to on Sunday for a day party vibe. Great space, people are playing bar games, having a good time. The music is good, they have hookah and a small food menu, but I would opt out of eating here and coming after to just hang out and enjoy the good vibes!
This place is great pretty much every day that their open. Different nights seem to have different themes and music, so you can mix it up. The venue is open, comfortable with picnic tables and benches everywhere, and they have an awesome selection of beers and liquor. Even when there is a line, it moves significantly faster than the lines at Wood, and at least they offer a VIP entrance in case youd rather pay a small fee and not have to wait at all. Prices are reasonable on all the drinks, and they have all sorts of happy hours. Highly recommend this spot if youre in the Wynwood area and want to hang out or dance to awesome music!
Place is lit. Music is ALWAYS a vibe.
Great place to hang the environment is nice. But the bottles are pricey and when you buy a drink its the worst because they add water to the bottles at the bar. So your drinks are water down and I know this especially with the patron.
Very unprofessional. We had to move from a table.we bought drinks and food it was 6 of us. We were their wit a party . Then some bartender told us we had to move. And the cook was unprofessional. It was our first irst time they and I dont think I go back never.
I went to an event held by Peterson Harley Davidson, spent 40 minutes trying to have a beer and there was no one to serve at the tables, and at the bar you couldnt buy drinks. I went to the event organizers and they told me that they couldnt do anything about it because they werent bar managers. So I asked if they would talk to him for the smooth running of the event. They said no, and that if I didnt like it, I could withdraw. I said that I never saw such a lack of politeness and zeal at a premium brand event, and she showed me the middle finger. I took the phone to film this, she mentioned that she was going to attack me, but she was held by the other. Finally, he ordered the security guard to remove me from the place as if I were a criminal, accompanying me to the exit door, under the applause and shouting of the organizers. I have videos and a witness. Terrible experience. I worked for many years in HD and I participated in numerous important events and never witnessed anything like that. I feel disappointed and absolutely humiliated by wanting only a worthy service.
Awesome place. Ive been there a few times between 5 and 9. The DJ played a great mix of new and classic songs. My friends and I played Jenga and danced. Delicious drinks and the bar staff are fun and charming. Ill be back!
Came here recently for my friends bachelorette party. We got a table. I highly recommend getting a table especially if you have a large group. We came on a Saturday night. Music was great. DJ KC Chopz was spinning that night and he had me dancing the entire time. Will definitely come back to Brick next time I’m in Miami
Ive only been here on Saturday nights and I love the vibe! around 12 it starts to get really crowded and there is barely any moving room. Drinks are decently priced. Saturday nights are more of a hip hop vibe.
Always had a good time here, no cover, good music that makes you wanna keep dancing all night, no drama, just fun. Will definitely go back when I visit Miami. Lines long but moves fast. Security is friendly. People there are cool.
This place is very laid back and a good choice if you are looking to grab a drink and just chill during the day. However, depending on the night you go, the crowd can make or break your stay. A big con for me is their bathroom situation. They need more restrooms because waiting in line for 30 min plus is ridiculous. The music is good though so at least you can jam while you wait to use the potty.
This is a really nice place to go to have a nice vibe. They have Afro code every Saturday which was really nice the one time I went. Even tho the dj didn’t play as much Afrobeats music as I was expecting, the music was still good. Sunshine drinks and good. Nice vibe
The atmosphere was decent. Everything was well until closing, the head of security was extremely aggressive with my friend hovered over her. When it came to leaving after the fact not only did he say kick them out ban them from this place because I spoke up against him being overly aggressive with us women. Knowing if we were men he would be more pleasant and handled it differently. He was abusing his masculinity in this instance as well as calling me out my name and antagonizing me in front of the club while waiting to leave the premises. Him and the other employees were standing there laughing about the matter. Women should be protected and our safety should always be a serious matter when a man feel it’s ok to be aggressive with us is a form of violation. There wasn’t any reason for him to violate and treat us as tourist unfairly or rudely when we weren’t rude to him. So be careful ladies if you have a brain or speak up for yourself in this club you might get banned or kicked out.
This is one of my favorite bars to go to, hands down. On Saturdays it gets wild but in a good way. The music is poppin and gets you real hype. I love to come here specifically for the hip hop music they play here on the weekend. Drinks are also not that expensive, and the staff is always friendly. Overall I deff recommend this place for people who want to have a super fun night.
We was at a table all nite then they told us we had to move. I dont think it was right if a talbe is reserved they need to have re on the table. So unorganized. It the worst. And the cook has a nasty attitude, the food wasnt hot at all ..
Security was on point, the music was on point, the DJ was on point, and the drinks was on point! Me and my husband definitely enjoyed ourselves. Wasn’t too pack so we were able to social distance ourselves from the others! And we definitely loved the hours it close!
I had the worst experience in my life tonight I was turned away for being a openly feminine guy he claimed I had a fake ID when I showed him my Florida license. While I was in line with three girls and two other guys, I was the only one stopped upon entering and charging me $40 while he didn’t charge anyone else including the other 2 guys my friends were with. I walked away feeling horrible about myself and the disappointment hoping that in our generation we wouldn’t be facing unfairness based on our orientation and character.
Def wouldn’t go back... simply based on professionalism. Hookah girl sold me a hookah at 2:20am and stated that the club would close at 3... lights turn on at 2:35 music cuts off at 2:38 and everyone is bombarded out by security. Security was outright disrespectful. Called ppl names, threatened me, and followed a woman to the doorway with the embarrassment until it spilled out on the street. I visited from NY but with how unprofessional the security was I’ll be sure to leave a review and warn others before they step foot into that establishment. There’s a fine line between doing your job and being out right disrespectful and the two should never coexist at a place like that under the conditions of the particular experience I witnessed. It was unnecessary and distasteful. The owner should be aware of the way some of the security guards treat patrons. Especially females, especially people spending their money.Music was ok, venue is decent, but youre better of at a place with more class. Ratchet!
Good spot with friends but not a great spot for dancing with people,(more so for single male) everyone is to them selves vibing which is cool if it was free. But it’s a cover on Saturday ($20 which gets you two $10 max drinks if you chose it that way) and with ladies in free, and drink free, I get the feeling that it set a unconscious precedent to turn away dance offers. I congratulate the very few females that do. But this is a locals spot so expect a local Miami attitude (mainly ebony girls)
Love this place! Free entry and good to go on dates, enjoy great music and not have too worry about knowing youre going to have a good night. It is always packed though and the wait can get annoying when youre standing outside for so long but definitely worth the wait in my opinion.
Fun place for a quick drink with friends. It has a nice backyard area with some lights on top. Drinks are decent and decently priced. They play music in the back for dancing or just hanging out although there not really any seating around the place and the bathrooms are unisex so be prepared for a 20 min wait to use the bathroom.
Great hang out spot to go out and dance. It is lively and energetic. I wish the djs would switch up the selection of music. They play the exact same songs very weekened it seems like. They need to be more spontaneous and creative with their music selection because it gets old listening to the same exact music selection all the time if you are a regular attendee. They have a steady crowd and a weekend.
Its an open air bar with some roof coverage and an open air area. Its not a really big establishment and theres not a lot of variety in the music genre, but its always a lot of fun. Just be careful if its raining out, theres not too much roof coverage so youre guaranteed to get cramped under the roof or get rained out of the place
This was my 1st time in Miami and my 1st visit to the bar and it was my worst experience in a bar. 1st the line was too long and we had to buy a table to skip the line. And we got inside it was too hot and very few fans. They should have tried to get fans for most table after spending about $800 for a table. Also there is only restroom for men and another for women and the line was very long. I will never go back to that club/bar and I will not recommend it to anyone.
Pretty chill. Played mostly hip hop but not dancing songs everything was rap songs so that sucked. More of a lounge and bottle service vibe than a club.
There’s a guy at the front of the club. His name’s Omar but everyone calls him Omar The Crowbar. He treated me and my team real well, sat us down in a good spot and gave us high class treatment. I didn’t have to lift a finger, aside from showing him my valid identification card. It’s a real nice spot and if you go there, ask for Omar: he’ll take care of you.
The staff are rude & the service sucks. They force you to pay a tip on top of it. Attempted to complain & was sent to over 6 staff members never to be able to talk to a manager. The head security was the only considerate & helpful person. The drink sucked & was expensive on top of it. I will never return & suggest others dont bother. Music & place okay overall but it takes 30 min to get a drink & rude attitude from the bartenders. The next day the manger texted me & informed she was there & was not considerate of how her workers treated me. Text me & couldnt even call to talk until í complained of her unprofessional texting as if talking to me directly didnt matter or how I felt about my experience. Sucks truly sucks.
Crowded. Poorly situated with no space to stand. Music was pretty good though. Bathroom situation is a mess. Men and women share 2 single capacity bathrooms with a unisex line. Bar was understaffed. All in all line to enter. Line for drinks. Line for bathroom.
Very nice spot in Wynwood for hanging out with friends over a drink. Multiple bars everywhere, but it can get a bit wild and difficult to get service when it is at capacity. Best tip: stick to it. The bartenders are great so even if it takes a while, its worth it. They also have a great variety of beers in addition to their signature cocktails. The outdoor space is very cool, with enough picnic style tables to chill and enough space to dance if thats your thing. Usually a DJ playing tons of hits and never an issue to actually get in, just need your ID. The type of crowd here varies in age and backgrounds and its great.
Best time we had in Miami was at BRICK! We wanted the best spot for Hip Hop, Latin and Trap Music and so we came to BRICK in Wynwood. Got there around 10:30p and party was raging by 11p. We decided to get bottle service and the staff set us up amazingly. Prices were super reasonable compared to bougie prices we paid on the beach and downtown. Definitely a must do on any trip to Miami!
My friends and I came to Miami from LA. Everything went well except with the bartender named Anna she honestly has no personality and is extremely rude and looks like she is not happy at her job .She told one of my friends If you dont like my service you can go across the bar and said it with a nasty tone. We were unhappy because honestly her service was not the best. The atmosphere and everything else is great.
This is an innovative conept done very handsomely. Like landing at 7 wineries in Napa without the drive. I also didnt spend as much as I anticipated, considering their pre-pay card system. I feel guilty about getting a brand new clean glass every time I try a different 1/2 pour of wine though. Im sure I can rectify that myself next time.
With the open space, outside sitting and lights brick is a gorgeous space. The music was decent the crowd was nice. Even better when with a great group of friends. The only downside of my night was the bartender..I believe she was the manager. My friend ordered a drink (dark & stormy) for me and I nicely asked for the drink to be remade as it wasn’t not made correctly. Barely a sip was taken. After talking to the bartender who made my drink she denied my a remake. There was no we’ll remake it this one time or we can make you another drink. The ‘manager’ just kept saying if I remake it I’m charging. As I continued to speak to her respectfully she decided it was cute to add ‘hun’ at the end of each sentence with me in a form of disrespect. Smh. Luckily I didn’t pay for the drink that night and I know how to respect myself or the night would have went a different way. If you’re ordering drinks keep it basic & common or you may not get what you want.
This is a good daytime club, the vibe is so warming for 3pm. It got thicker by 8pm. The music was on point too. A nice group of out of towners exploring the Miami life in Wynwood. The age group was a 40s & under, even though I am 53, I fitted right in. The food is pricey $20 for 7 wings & fries, which were good. They were cooked to my tasting & season w/ lemon pepper. I will be revisiting again
Probably the worst club i’ve ever been to, overprices cover, overpriced drinks, made people wait outside in a long line when the place was empty, no dance floor, made our drinks completely wrong, and overcharged my credit card for way more than i actually ordered. you can go to any bar for a better time and spend way less
I’m still in shock from the horrible experience I had here last night. I ordered a drink the bartender grabs the wrong thing I immediately try to get her attention to let her know. She tells me it’s not her responsibility to make sure she is pouring the correct things wow! Is this not your job, I was so confused. To make matters worse the bartenders and management refused to make the correct drink, they lied and acted like they would remake it while constantly trying to give me the incorrect drink. Finally a manager comes over and talks to the bartender, you know what they did, gave me a whole glass of lemonade no alcohol for $40 and tried to force me to take and pay for a drink I did not order or want. In this day in age who tries to force a women to take and pay for drinks she does not want or drink. Horrible bartenders and management, no one cared to rectify the issue!
Brick House is not your typical club not a South Beach type vibe more laid back and chill. Drinks start around $12 kinda pricey for the small cups. But the djs area great the also serve food as well so you can eat if you need too. It gets crowded so you might want to get there early because the line does get very long as well. Dress code is casual so you can definitely have a good time. Go with friends or make some there great place to mingle.
I have partied here before and its never really drama but tonight the drama that took place I did not like. I have been going to this place for 3 years and I did not believe what happened. Me and my boyfriend was waiting online and he forgot to pay for parking. So he went back to the car to pay for parking while I wait on the line for him to arrive back. Now most of the security there has been working there for as long as Ive been going there; however tonight was different a guy tried to skip me online and my boyfriend pulls up and ask if things are okay when he got back. The security decided to come by and intervene in the situation. He says to me he can only let one guy skip and for the other person to skip he had to pay the other bouncer. Now as long as Ive been going here Ive never heard this. I said its only one person is skipping and its not him. I tried to explain what was taking place but he did not want to hear what I was saying. So my boyfriend got offend and also tried to speak but the security did not want to hear him and said to me he would decide on who would skip and who would pay. When their tones elevated due to the bias that was being displayed the bouncer walked away and went to call the police I proceeded to the police after he went over to them and began to explain the officer told me to speak a manager in the club about the situation. I went over to the dread security and asked for a manager he quickly blurred out that there was none available. He did not look nor check he stood in his spot and refused to move. So I uttered is there none available or do you not want to call one? As a person who frequents this place and have been attending this venue for years I have never been so displeased with service ever. This is unacceptable and should not be tolerated by anyone. You as an employee is hosting the club money. When you discriminate against someone for whatever bias reason is not okay. As an employee whether security or manager of the club this is not your decision to make nor is it your business to behave in such manner. I have always direct people to brick house when asked about place to go but after tonight that will be no more. The fact that I had to be subjected to this is not okay and no one should have to endure what I did. How does security try to place me with someone thats not my significant other, someone that I did not arrive with to this establishment as the person I get to walk into the club with as I stood online and waited peacefully without any issues to arrive after paying for parking? This is not and I will treat it as many time as I need to this is not okay! It is not professional nor is it acceptable.
Did Brick get shut down?? I’ve gone during business hours the past couple weekends and the spot seems vacant..like it’s permanently closed.
If u like to party with ppl you dont n do know then this place is definitely for you…..love going here with a couple of friends to end the night
Fun place with great music. They have a silent disco night where you get headphones upon entering with different channels that play different genres of music. I doubt they will bring this back after quarantine, which is unfortunate because it was a really fun concept :/. The bar is a good layout with the bar area under a roof but the manority of the hangout area outside. Be warned, it gets very hot in the summer, especially on nights that are packed. The bathroom lines can get very long. A girl fight actually broke out on one of my long visits to the bathroom. It was not surprising to see something like that though.
Because its outdoors Im guessing the heavy smoking is allowed. Be careful if you asthmatic. Great-Good music. Security on point.
Nice adult hangout with decently priced drinks. Some bartenders are better thank others, when it comes to the mixing of the drinks though. Had an overall good time in a Friday night. Played some oversized Jenga and Connect 4. Great night overall!
This place is so far my favorite in Florida because it’s outside open roof and the breeze you get feels amazing. There are three djs that play different types of music and you get the option to rent headphone for the specific genre you want to listen to. Kind of like a silent party if you chose.
I came here on Thursday night. Ive heard it gets pretty crowded fast. The only disappointment is that you are kicked out of your seat when someone buys a VIP table. Its like really? Are we supposed to stand? This is Wynwood. So many other places have good music too and they dont make up stand up from your seat.
Nice enough place, but table service is a scam. We were given a table, which was 2 bar seats right in front of where they were selling hookah. People were literally trying to bend over our table to order, and the bouncers did nothing about it. Make sure if you get a table, be very specific about where that table will be.
Organized outside with social distance. Too long of a line to go to restroom. Only two stalls. Urban music on point. Easier to get in if you get bottle service. There is a parking lot next to the place.
As on owner of 2 businesses I am completely disgusted with the customer service at this place. It used to be a place I would love to go to with my friends but lately the people who work there seriously lack problem solving. I buy bottles ALL THE TIME HERE. In the last 2 occasions I have been kicked off a table where I bought a bottle because someone had initially reserved it! When NO ONE, not the SECURITY GUARD that annoyingly stands on the table with you OR the bottle girl that brings the bottle to you. They made me and my friends move to another table. AGAIN, DISGUSTING. The altercation before that? I had a girl drink the whole bottle I bought while I was in the bathroom!! Which wouldnt have happened if this locale had MORE BATHROOMS! Oh and to spice things up a bit. She got kicked out only to see her sitting at my table AGAIN MINUTES LATER! THE NERVE OF THIS GIRL! How could this happen when the whole place is surrounded by security guards??? Incompetence and just really bad experience all around. Oh, lets not mention how they UP the prices on Sunday from one minute to the other and give you drink tickets worth $8 a piece. A TOTAL JOKE. I would give this place 0 Stars!!!
Didnt like the crowd. The location was nice and the drinks were priced fairly. We paid $40 for 4 drinks. If you like hip-hop this is the place to check out on Saturday nights, just be prepared to be jammed in a crowd.
Terrible terrible customer service. The staff needs to be retrained on how to behave. I was about to enter behind my 3 friends whom were all ladies when the fat man to the left asked me debit or credit. Confused I looked at him, and he said it again more rudely. At which time I realized that they were charging the men (which is fine, this is Miami), but then I called out to my friends to leave and the fat man’s assistant started pushing me out of the line. He was pushing me out into the sidewalk, and I told him my friends needed to know that I will not be going in, and I just needed to simply call their name. Luckily one heard me before he pushed me into the sidewalk outside the club. Will never be returning to this club, even if I’m in the mood to pay for a club with a cover charge. I’m pretty sure it is against the law to physically push people around. 0/5 stars.
I went there this past Saturday night unexpectantly and ended up having a blast. The bartenders were on point even tho it was crazy busy. Good music, good vibes, Im definitely going back soon!
I didnt get to go in but the scenery looked live, made me feel comfortable from just standing in the line. But i do wish i had the chance of going inside. Will do that over the next few weeks.
If you like being around ghetto and rowdy crowds this is the place to be. The bouncers are about the same but the clearly have to be. The bartenders and music on the other hand are always on point. But there is no way I will ever feel comfortable hanging out in this constantly overcrowded place where it always feels like a stampede is about to happen.
No cover charge makes this place an ideal spot to go, but thats about it. When I went they were packing people in like sardines. Literally there was a guy with a flashlight waving people forward. I was constantly being knocked into, pushed over, etc. It was too crowded to get to their bar (that I think they have I dont know I couldnt see it). After 20 minutes we left... I started to worry about what would happen if there was a fire and if we would make it out. I didnt feel that we would so it was time to go.
Place was litt. Great music of all variety. Ratio of men & women was pretty even. Vibe was really cool. Its like outdoors but with a roof & fans to keep cool.
We had a great time there last weekend. We had to wait a while to get in but not too bad. The bartender was nice and drinks were great.
Omar has phenomenal hospitality and customer service skills! I felt very welcomed and had a blast at Brick the other day just wanted to mention. I spent well over a couple thousand $ in bottles on Sunday, thanks to Omar hooking our group up, they should promote that man. Brick has definitely stepped up their game as one of the best clubs in Wynwood. You should stop by and see for yourself, ask for Omar at the frontdoor he will take care of you especially if you got a big group with you and want to have a great time. Thanks again Omar.
You have to be 21+ to go in.
Nice chill spot that gets really packed(in a good way). Variety of music. Bartenders are so cool. Drink specials everyday with happy hour ending at 11pm.
Fun spot! Its like someones backyard party on steroids with a huge selection of beers. Cant beat it! Not sure why its so heavily secured, but I imagine the crowd can get rowdy. The only problem is a lack of bathrooms which cause really long lines.
I feel Very offended door man was very rude and unprofessional I come to the club all the time and he disrespected me so hurtful I feel as if I’ll never come again. He acted as he had authority over me never go there he’s a loser believe. He had a bald he had a hat and a beard very mean guy absolutely disgusting.
Not a bad place to start a night out, entry is free for females and $20 for males. With that you get 2 free drink coupons however. We came back later in the night to find a line up out the front and the place was packed once getting inside. Ended up staying for the drinks and wifi for an Uber before calling it. Best thing about the place is the fact they have Rekorderlig cider, hard to come by in the states.
My experience at brick has definitely been one of the BEST EVER !!!! Dominque was my server and she made the whole experience ONE OF THE BEST ! Great bottle service and AMAZING MUSIC, DOMINIQUE made sure nothing was missing in our section and provided the best service ever !!!!
It gets too crowded, no stopping of people coming in well after the fire hazard number is met. Weed smoking all over the place. But other than that, is good. Atmosphere is ok, a lot of wanna-be tough guys and rappers.
If you are a woman be careful! Male security watches the ladies restroom and will attempt to enter (even after recognizing that someone is in there) while occupied. One of the scariest experiences of my life!
Security is very rude and disrespectful, A group of us went last night and we had just purchased drinks from the bar and the one of the security told us to move away from the bar, I guess we didnt move fast enough for him he called the other security to come kick us out after spending $300 in there. The securitys jump on us and punch one of us in the eye (female) also throw one of our shoes in the trash can. And all of this happened because the security wanted us to move because his friends came to the bar to buy water.
While i went there i was attended by a bartender named Ana she was fast and attentive, she also kmew immediately every type of drink i was requesting her for. The music was pretty great a lot of old school stuff
After visiting Wynwood Brick caught my attention as it is more of a club than a bar. There is a VIP entrance where you can arrange bottle service. Music was awesome crowd was hyped and drinks are reasonably priced. Had a lot of fun dancing.
Breezy the hookah girl is the best
Open air bar. The night i went, ladies were free, men were 20. We didnt wait in line long. The crowd was cool, most people danced. A small menu is available (chicken tenders, hotdog, fries etc) the dj on the night i went (a friday) was trash, switched the songs before i could get into them, but we still danced, still had a goid time.
This place is great. Its the only place is the wynwood area that plays more modern hip hop music. But because of that it does tend to get packed. I do wish they did have more bathrooms. But overall a good place.
I Went to their happy hour for the first time with two friends and we were disappointed more so with their costumer service. The set up, music and drinks were really good, but the staff were all very rude. From the bartenders to the bouncers. There was one bouncer who asked me for a second ID because he said I looked different which is fine. So I showed them both another ID and a college ID ( because im grown and dont play those fake ID games) I just wanted to be around music and have a good time. Then one of the bouncers falsely accused me of doing fraud because I had 3 forms of ID which he asked for because he said I looked young. Then after going back and forth for about 5mins (holding up theline) he told me to go in. I understand if youre trying to make sure, but the side joke comments were still rude. Lauren, was our bartender and she just had a horrible attitude as if she didnt want to serve us. She was impatient when we would ask about drink specials. I told her I would like a rum punch. My rum punch was great , but the next rum punch she made for my friend didnt taste the same. As if it was missing something which it did because his rum punch appeared to be lighter and tasted different. So when we kindly asked her to add Orange juice to it she responded back with for what, whats wrong with it? We told her and she kept denying that there was nothing different to it.. Eventually after sticking to our word and still asking her time after time to add Orange juice, she rolled her eyes, grabbed the drink and walked away and added orange juice to it. When we would try to get her attention for refills on water, she would just give us the silent hand with her back turned (even though she wasnt busy). After that we didnt even want to sit at the bar anymore. Other than the staff being rude, I still had a good time though.
Crazy, crazy, crazy vibe. Super packed but very open and chill vibe. Djs was super nice on the 1s and 2s. I recommend this spot if your looking for a nice club atmosphere but in the open.
I love this place!! Always a good vibe. I love the music and always bring my out of town guest! Sundays are my favorite
The location is very simple, the music is good and it is usually very busy. A place where you can dance or just chill out. The weak point of this place is the service, not enough for the amount of people that usually go there.
A big party spot in Wynwood kind of feels more like a club which is okay they definitely have great music and that vibe going on. But this spot gets way too packed most of the time to the point where you cant even go out dance and celebrate with your group of friends. DJ is good and definitely knows how to keep the crowd on their feet, but everything else about this spot is not fun. Expensive prices on drinks but hey thats what you get while youre in Miami right especially in a trending area like Wynwood. Big concern here is that there seems to be a lack of security, always hear stories about people losing their wallets and a friend of mine had her phone pick-pocketed which is very possible with the large overpacked crowds inside Brick. I do like the selection of craft beers available outdoors near the front and the happy hour is great, but after that Id recommend to stay away from this place on weekend nights.
We came for drinks and ended up ordering food. The steak slider burgers and the matchstick skinny fries are delicious and alone, made the trip worth it. We sat on a large picnic table in the open air patio and were really confused why it was so empty but there were so many staff working there. Then, the busses full of revelers (young and old) started to arrive. We took that as our cue and moved on to a smaller bar in the area.
Last night I was assaulted by the security guards at Brick. Stay far away from this place. At 2:45pm, my friend and I entered the establishment with no issues. At 2:50 pm, we grab some Frose at the bar, overpriced of course. At 3 pm: They turn off the music and start kicking people out. As Im heading towards the door, Im about halfway done with my drink. Before we walk out onto the sidewalk, a stocky, bald female security guard tries to grab my drink out of my hand. I tell her that I just bought it and that Ill just stand to the side and finish it, which shes clearly upset about for some reason. As Im finishing my drink, another short, light-skinned security guard with the most unkempt dreadlocks Ive seen in a while continues to harass me to finish my drink faster and that theyre all tryna go home. (Maybe 2 minutes have passed at this point and there are still many people in the club, so I dont understand why me standing be the door finishing my drink that I paid for 10 minutes earlier was a problem for them???) As Im almost finished, the stocky bald female security guard walks up to me, says I need to go, PUT HER HANDS ON ME, and forcefully snatched my drink out of my hand, crushing it and spilling some on me. So I pushed her away from me (because who wouldnt defend themselves) and she snatches my wig, all while having 2 big dude security guards pulling me out of the club. The security guards laugh and taunt me as they toss my wig around and the police are holding ME back! This was the most absurd thing Ive ever experienced at a club. All of this to say, Brick is a terrible place with even more terrible security guards that function more as a gang, jumping people that they think are too weak or drunk to fight back. Stay far away from this place. Can I just add that I was tipsy at best when this happened?? (Hence why I wanted to finish my $12 drink.) Do not go to Brick until they do something about their security guards which I see many have complained about in other reviews as well. Just go to Wood or R Bar instead.
Best low key hot spot in Wynwood. I love the atmosphere and the DJ is always playing some awesome music. The liquor could be stronger, but overall I really love this place
Bouncers were all on cocaine… wanted people who waited on line for an hour to beg then to be let in, then turned around when. They wouldn’t. M way over hyped
Bouncers are rude, they act like they own the place. Overreacted when they were asked a question. Never going there again, so many other better places near by. That place doesnt deserve any dollar of mine. The ambience is problematic. And the bouncers are probably thugs as well.
Went to Miami for my birthday and I kept hearing about Brick. I went four times and had fun each night. Staff was amazing the vibes were all chill. I wish it stayed open longer!
Omar was great!!! And he provided exceptional service for our group of 20. The Groom and Bride had amazing time. We all thank you.
Good crowd but choice of music could be better. Its more viben than crunk.
The bartenders SUCK BIG TIME HERE!!! THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY GIVE YOU DRINKS THAT HAVE ALMOST LITTLE TO NO ALCOHOL SO YOU BUY MORE AND ONLY IF SUPER TIP THEM WILL YOU ACTUALLY GET A BUZZ plus its pretty packed leave it for the 21yr olds who are just happy to go out and be legal but if youre seasoned and grown you will know tgis place is just a big rip off!!!
Brick House is the place to be! Its always a great time when I go there. I especially enjoy the food, music, and of course the drinks are amazing. If youre looking to have a good time, then I highly recommend coming here!!
If you know Brick before you know how packed it got. They have taken great steps to separate tables and individuals to still have a great time. The staff is always great in my eyes!
I 1st time was in June of 2015 it was awesome the music was great and the vibe was perfect as time moved along around August 2015 Ive started noticing a different crowd a more rough crowd a more ratchet my crowd ever since then I knew it was over for brick house. Art Basel 2015 Dec 6 was the 1st time I went back to brick house since Aug 2015 and OMG its even worse there were 4 fights it was ridiculously crowded and it wasnt the same. Brick house and I have bad blood now Im never going back.
Horrible place. The staff kept harassing our party. They have a Jenga game that no one was playing. A staff member knocked it down then flexed his arms in a threatening manner. We set the game up again and other staff continuously shook the table. Finally, a staff member stated someone wanted the table for a bottle. There was another table next to ours where people who did not have a bottle service sat and they were not approached. There were two tables behind us with males playing Jenga and they were not approached. Funny thing is that people were smoking marijuana and no one approached them. So women playing Jenga was unacceptable but smoking illegal drugs is just fine.
Cool place to hang out in Wynwood. They have great music, good food, and games out back (much like The Bar/Blackbird Ordinary). Ive only been here late night, and its always packed.
*** Beware during Memorial Day Weekend ***The Line guy said we are banned for life. We are from NY and My bf went to pay the meter because we didnt realize there was a meter. He came back and he stepped in where he said that we could (before the barricade) but once my bf came his entire tune changed. He said he flipped him off and he cut the line so he was banned. We were both super lost and asked what he was talking about and he said we didnt listen to him and we were banned. Although we listened to everything he said.We then found out you could pay to skip the line and the line guy was excited when i asked him but then realized who my partner was and got irate again. If we handed him a $50 he wouldve probably changed his tune, but once he lied about what we did, there was no point in trying. The line guy needs to replaced, giving one person that power for 3 years (yes, i was sober and calmly talked to many ppl and got info) shouldnt happen. Allowing someone to lie and deny anyone he feels entry shouldnt be allowed. We were with my best friend celebrating her birthday and planned on spending at least $1500 in the club. Allowing one person the ability to lose the club that much money doesnt make sense.*** I will be here until Wednesday of anyone in management cares....
I went last Thursday to this place and I dont know if maybe its just that night but it was one of the most ghettoist places I have ever been to. The way that we were treated by a certain security guard was so disgusting a disrespectful. I went with my boyfriend to have a nice chill night cause I heard the music there was good but never again will I step foot into such a ratchet place. My boyfriend had just bought a hookah from them and we had put it on a table we were smoking and drinking having fun until the security guard that was standing on top of the table shoves my boyfriend telling him to stop throwing the smoke into his face mind you the guard is standing up on top of the table so unless the wind is hitting his direction theres no way it could have hit his place and if your guards have a problem with the hookah then dont sell them there makes no sense. My boyfriend told him what was the problem and the guard started cursing at him and getting aggressive asking him if he wanted to go handle it outside. What got me going crazy was that we were smoking a hookah that the bar provided people were rolling up joints and smoking weed right in front of the guard sitting on the table. This place has so much potential but the ghetto ass staff is what ruins it! Will never recommend this place to anyone!!!!
Its good vibes after 12 the opening dj the one from 7-12 sucks always plays the same music every sunday repeat certain songs I guess he likes two to three times and only plays the songs for 5 second but when its Jamaican or Bohemian music he plays the whole thing brick is a good place and Good Vibes just DJ has to go especially playing Chicken Noodle Soup song two to three times
Place is truly a Miami vibe
ZERO STARS I visited this bar ArtBasel weekend this year (2018) and ordered 2 Patron Margaritas for $30. They charged me for Patron Margaritas but didn’t have any Patron in stock. Then I received 2 different drinks in 2 different sizes and when I addressed the issue I was told they were made by 2 different people and so they will look different. There is nothing they could do about it. Not even remaking my drink. And then said I could just ask for another shot for $15.
On Sundays they have a silent party where if u get headphones (optional) u can switch to different DJs and genres. It was my first time experiencing that. It was lit
The bad: the black brother bartender lacks personality its almost has if hes entitled to serve drinks. The good: Crystal makes up for the bad bro bartender. She has customer service skills and so does the blonde guy bartender with the glasses. The great: the music is always great classic hip hop.
Went there last night, the bartender told me 8$ for 1 beer and 25$ for 5, I agreed to take the 5 beers, when I see the receipt they charge 30$, because (literally) 20%tip its included for checks OVER $25. The manager came (a girl) and asked me if I would tell to the bank that I wasnt there because I refuse to sign the receipt... I am not stupid, I told her I was there but I wont allow them to charge me $5 extra without letting me know. We return the beers and we went to the bar next to this one. BTW 20% included IF its OVER $25 and 5beers=25$ with tax that its not OVER $25... I wish a lawyer could read this... I have proof and they need to messing with me and my ppl from Miami
The DJ was great, it was super crowded but I pretty much accepted I might get COVID when I came here. The drink prices are OUTRAGEOUS, a small cup of Hennessy &, Red Bull was 19 dollars
If your looking for a cool spot to go to thats not quite club and not too lounge, then Brick House is defiantly a go to, they have a great vibe. The best night in my opinion is a Sunday night. They host 3 different djs at a time and you can purchase headphones for $5 so you can switch which dj you want to listen to. I love it every time I GO.Music is hip/hop and reggae on Sunday nights.
Arrived in pouring rain, the front door was open but the place was closed. I asked if we could stay under shelter until a taxi arrived to pick us up, they told us to leave immediately and stand in the pouring rain. Horrible people own/run this place
Nice crowd! pop on Sundays! So far best hip hop bar
Been to Brick several times with colleagues of mine. The place is mediocre but the music is good so we keep going. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience when one of my friends from out of country came to visit me and I took her to Brick. The bouncer did not let us in because we have drivers licenses from Canada, Ive never had an issue with my ID before in the whole two years Ive been studying in Miami. Im a graduate student here and the way the bouncer treated my friend and I was absolutely repulsive and borderline harassment. We are not College Spring Breakers with fakes, we are grown adults looking to have a chill night with good vibes. Talk about buzzkill. I spoke with another gentleman working security that night (believe his name started with a J) who kindly explained the situation and why our IDs werent excepted, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. Completely disappointed with this place even though Ive been several times, I wont be back again. Theres better places in Wynwood anyways that actually respect their guests.
Bartenders are slow and drinks never really taste that great. The security team is always over reacting with the guests, I seen them jump a guy one night.
Great place to check out. Awsome beer selection and good music. I just happened to be there for happy hour and who doesnt like that
OVERRATED!!!!!!! this place is a great place to party but it’s literally overcrowded to the point where you cannot even move so youre basically in this huge crowd of people listening to music. And don’t even think about getting inside quickly unless you’re willing to buy bottles and a section, if not you’re going to waiting in the line wrapped around the block
Saturday nights are pack long line so come early or u gona melt outside when u get inside music is on point lots of reggae and hip hop lots of eye candy too..
Free to get in and the line moves rather quickly, unfortunately the place is usually rather packed and congested. If you plan to stay there a while, find you a designated spot to sit or stand and just dance in that space
Nice atmosphere very inviting and laid back. Inside outside vibe, very diverse crowd. Lots of seating/benches. Dj is cool old & new school.
I love Dominique always ask for her she always cleans my table up for me and bring bottles back to back! The best service in wynwood!
Cool spot. Good music..Get there early cause it gets insanely packed! Drinks are on expensive side little cups too.
Very good atmosphere and great music. The DJ kept playing 90s music. Which had everyone dancing. Definitely a great place to hang out.
I ordered the Garlic Truffle Chicken and It was not cooked all the way! I took a bite into the chicken and it was still bloody! And they are overpriced! Don’t eat here!
Basically for the younger crowd, but thou can find older people also. Hip hop crowd. Very little reggae if you like reggae, but just different.
This is our favorite club to go to on the weekends! Friday is a nice vibe🤟🏾, Saturdays are lit 🔥 and Sundays are super LIT 🔥 since they gave 3DJs and headphones 🎧 not to mention, the drinks are great 🍻🥃🥂#princeNjames #pNjaRoyalCourt #BrickMIA #BrickMiami
I like the Silent Disco (Headphones) concept they use at that place. They have three djs mixing good music, one dj to each headphone channel. One channel is for american music (hip-hop, pop, trap, rnb,..), one for caribbean music (dancehall, reggae, soca,..) and the last one for latin music (reggaeton,..). If you dont have the $5 to afford a headphone, you can still enjoy the american music dj mix, as it is also playing through speakers all over the place. The attendance fee is $20 and they give you two $8 ($16) credit pass to buy drinks. They have a large variety of cocktails, beer,.. and its a good place to meet new people especially college students.
The bottle girl/ bartender Breezy was the bestttt.
Carlos is my favorite door man in Miami. He literally is always so kind and such a gentleman. Every time I come to Brick and see him the night is going to be a great night.
Love the staff there. Sundays are my favorite nights to go especially if your in your late 20s and want a more litt but chill vibe but brick is always litt and always packed. I love the headphone options there
WORST CLUB IN MIAMI IVE EVER BEEN TOO. music=wack. Vibe=wack. Tried to order a drink at the bar, but didnt like it. I asked the bartender to make it again and she said her manager said, I had to drink it. Worst hospitality, worst customer service, worst non club Ive ever been to. Worst is how I would describe this place best. Falls short in every category. Hot asf...not up to par. Wish I could give 0; stars
Went on a Sunday night when it was ladies free...nice...however, bouncers and staff are rude, bathrooms are gross, drinks are watered down(and overpriced ), small venue with the possibility of being a cool place but they gave no fs for capacity...and the dj was ...well...average for a Miami underground joe.
This place ok some nights but their customer service sucks to the highest degree smh I went to the bar to buy something to drink and the bartender decided that because the music is loud and I asked how much was the bottle of water was he got mad at my question and me repeating myself with the question of how much it cost which he was really really rude whoever is the owner needs to talk to their workers because then he proceeds to walk from behind the bar to complain to the guy at the gate talking about I need to f---ing leave smh Ive been to this place too many times and never been treated like this before tonight this guy was very very rude. Gregory the manager messaged me and my response to him was; So briefly this is what happened. Im a frequent visitor to Brick on more than one occasions the company I go there with spends a hefty amount of money at this establishment and enjoys themselves most times. Last night the 5th of February I went as I begged my friends who were tired to go to brick as I enjoy the vibes it brings & I never had a problem before but I walked to the front bar and I ordered a cup of orange juice for someone who was with me was faintish. The guy at the bar who wore glasses and is bald headed was my server ( I asked for his name from multiple employees but they refused to tell me as they said to just get the f. Out)I ordered the orange juice he gave me a bottle of water instead I said ok I wanted orange juice I know the music was loud so Im not really expecting very clear communication. However I asked how much was the cup of orange juice he said $5 I said ok well how much is the bottle of water he put his hand up and said $5 I said ok well Ill take the bottle water instead as I have the right not to purchase the orange juice which I never even see or drank. He then continued to tell me and shout that I Have to pay for the orange juice (did not get it) and the bottle of water I said no thats not right as I didnt even touch either products he then came from behind the bar and proceeds to tell the guy at the gate to get me the F out cause he just doesnt like my attitude The guy at the front he first went to was listening to my explanation about what transpired & the bartender then proceeds to say bye b!--h as another guy walks up to say mam you need to leave right now you are being kicked out because he doesnt like your attitude. Interestingly enough a few friends of mine bought bottles and I was trying to help one out by getting them something to drink I then proceeded to walk out when I asked wheres the manager or someone I can speak to and then was told to just f-ing leave and they are not going to tell me anything or anyones name I told the guy at the front I will make my review about this and he said f--k off. After Gregory got my explanation on this matter he then tells me that Im a liar. What place treats their customers like this brick thats where. Crazy
The atmosphere is cool, down to earth & safe.I didnt understand ehy they had 2 inside women restrooms and the men had to use Porto potties.
Had a blast the drinks and atmosphere was great! I love the music. .I would love to have my birthday party here
This place is overtly racist it’s disgusting. Got kicked out the line for no reason at all, the bouncer even had the police come over to remove us. When asked why, the tall hispanic line guy said and I quote “I have the right to refuse service to anyone”, but wouldn’t tell us why we were being removed!Eta: If I felt like it was racial then I have the right to call it how I see it. Do not try to patronize me like I’m some child. Also judging by your condescending reponse, I might be on to something. Instead of trying to defend your rude employees, try to stop these issues from arising. You guys are extremely unprofessional and obnoxious and now I see that it trickles all the way down to the so called “owner”.
Dominique is the best bottle girl /bartender always super nice and willing to make my experience out of this world every weekend thank you beautiful !!!
Brick House updated its menu about a year(ish) ago, and while the menu change removed my favorite item (the chicken caesar wrap), the changes are an excellent update and the food is as good as it ever was. Im excited for winter now, because they should have the fireplace going once it gets cold.
I love this place. Its great vibes. It is a good mix of people. Also, has a good mix of eclectic music as well as a a variety of age groups.
One of their bouncers assaulted me after accusing me of skipping the line for the ladies restroom! Do not patronize this establishment. The owner supported his unruly staff in disrespecting me.
I love the music and the vibes. If youre not one for crowds or constantly being bumped into, Saturday nights, after 10pm, are not for you.
Cocktails are great here. Order the Brick Smash..well worth it. Bartenders work fast. Also..this place is pure vibes. Will return for sure.
The day parties at this place is amazing...if you like to dance like good music just a all around good vibe then this is place to go too
