Lots of massage services to choose from. They have a line of skin care products for sale which appears to be really good. Front desk young lady is very attentive and nice. Massage are by appointment and they are open every day of the week and late hours

I loved the energy and ease of registering my details on the iPad as opposed to paper forms. The massage therapist was on point and did a great job. I have had others at other places that didn’t want to do the work, but Blanca was great!! I signed up for their membership. I liked the price, the quality, and the overall ambiance too.

Really professional employees and polite. I really enjoy my massage sessions and relax.I do have a concern that has happened twice already. I have noticed that my message session starts 10 tp15 minutes late and I don’t get the full hour as paid for.This last time I went and the session was scheduled at 11am and I was not called until 11:09 am and by the time the session began it was 11:15 but the session needed at 12pm. Only 45 minutes of session

It was obvious my massage person did not have formal training. The entire deep tissue massage was mainly large sweeping moves with little work dealing with the tight muscles in my lower back. My person arrived 10 minutes late so my massage was cut by 10 minutes. I didnt get an apology for her wasting my time. I cut her tip in half.

Griselda did an amazing massage, best experience Ive ever had. Very attentive and knows what she is doing. Would recommend asking for her next time. 10/10

Absolutely loved every minute of my prenatal massage! Yvonne was so welcoming and calm, definitely made the experience worth every penny spent. I woke up the next morning refreshed and relaxed and had the best sleep. Definitely 10/10 recommend!

I came in with severe neck and lower back pain. Rey was amazing. He worked my many knots out and I felt amazing the day after. I would recommend this place and especially Rey to anyone. 5 stars well deserved.

Yvonne is always a wonderful young lady. Very professional, courteous and skilled. I came in with chronic lower back and right shoulder pain. She was able to relieve a huge relief to me, and I have been pain free for the first time in over 6 months.

My massage therapist was attentive and quick to greet me once I checked in. The same effort continued once he gave me a minute to change. He wasn’t gone for five minutes the way other therapists do. That results to eating into your time. He was great. Front desk was so polite and friendly. I’ve been coming to massage envy since it’s grand opening 13 years ago. The company has been through a lot of hits through the years with bad employees and horrible customer service. I hope it stays as great as it was for me yesterday. Ray was awesome and so was the young lady at the front desk. Five stars!

I’ll tell you something, if you like deep tissue, ask for Yvonne. She was great! The entire staff in the front was kind, professional and pleasant. I’ll be back to see Yvonne again.

Yvonne was truly amazing! She really accommodated to my every need, and focused on the body parts that required more attention / work. She made me feel very comfortable and so relaxed with the aromatherapy. I felt like a new person when my massage finished!

Office staff is always welcoming at this location. We normally do not indulge in any enhancements, but are always reminded that they are available. My therapist Yvonne is a perfect fit for my preferences and has always been polite and attentive.Yall keep up the great work. Please get the text message confirmation fixed. Last two visits I responded with a yes to confirm an appointment only to be followed up with a phone call a couple hours later. Seems to be a waste of time for front office staff.

I have been a member with Massage Envy for a year now. The staff is very nice, the place is clean, and I always come out of there feeling relaxed. The table warmer is a plus. They also offer multiple enhancements for your massage. Blanca P. Is the best! She always makes me feel comfortable, asks me what my concern areas are, makes sure I’m okay with the pressure, and just the sweetest. I always book my appointment with her. She’s compassionate and does her job amazingly. Thanks Blanca!

The staff are super friendly, make you feel so welcoming, and are so attentive to your wants and needs. I highly recommend Berta as she is great massage therapist. I definitely recommend Massage Envy.

My experience was very good! Bertha is very thorough and professional and takes her job seriously. The only thing I noticed was that my appointment was for 60 minutes but only lasted 45 minutes.

I have had a long hard year that has been rough on my body and my stress level. Rey at Massage Envy has been helping my aching body to relax and heal with regular massage and stretching. I am getting massages and also going to the chiropractor. It’s not going to be quick, but I am on the road to recovery.

Every one was so friendly and knowledgeable. Blanca/massage n Edith /facial were so friendly n there smiles made a difference with their service. Got me a membership.

Bertha has been my massage therapist for quite some time. She is professional and very knowledgeable about anatomy. She is fabulous! She also works on my 92 year young mother and she is sssooo good with her! My mom loves going.

I really like my appointments at ME. Blanca is a wonderful masseuse. The ME staff is always cordial and helpful, The clinics is always spotless.

Massages are good, but I find it hard to take advantage of my membership because it is hard for me to book my appointment. Appointments are scheduled so far in advance. If you need something in the next 2 or 3 weeks, it is a challenge to get an appointment.

I’ve been a Massage Envy monthly client for 10 years, and Yvonne is the best massage therapist I’ve ever had! She listens to your feedback and delivers a wonderful, relaxing massage. It is well worth the expense of pampering yourself.

I was 12 minutes late for an appointment for a massage due to being stuck at the doctors office. 15 minutes were deducted out of my massage and my arms were not massaged at all. The next appointment I showed up a little early. My appointment was at 12. I wasn’t called until 12:15. My facial was not 60 minutes. The massage that was booked for right after my facial ended 15 minutes early. As a year member I get 60 minutes credit every month. Yet this visit it was perfectly acceptable to them to screw me out of 30 minutes.

Normally I would give this place a rating of five stars but on this specific visit I had scheduled a session for a massage and a session for a facial on the same day. I was messaged on the day of the facial and told that the facial would be canceled. I contacted the business and spoke to someone in the front desk that was rude and did not seem to care that I had to drive two hours for an appointment that was cancelled. Had I known days before that the appointment would be cancelled I would have planned accordingly and booked a facial elsewhere. Her response to me was that the esthetician had quit days prior. Again, not my problem but the business should have cared enough for their customer to advise of the cancellation days before.The regular massage was great, no complaints there.

Amazing massage yesterday!!! It had been about three years since my last one. Blanca has Amazing hands Ive already scheduled her for the next two months!!!

Clean ,welcoming and professional! Front desk explained everything thoroughly from beginning to end. Massage therapist was awesome! I got the membership because I know this is what I need monthly. I have other memberships at 2 gyms and I know that I will be charged monthly as the front desk girl explained to me. She explained the cancellation policy as well. I recommend Massage Envy to my family and friends!

Yvonne was excellent. The others not so good. My wife Made an appointment for the massageTherapist she had the last time. When we got there we were informed that therapist was bo longer working there. She was offered a male massage therapist only and she did not appreciate that so she was unable to get her needed massage. Three support people stood around while she waited for me to get my massage and when she used the restroom it was out of towelings and not clean. We will not return.

The therapist Yvonne provided a pleasant massage. My remarks are NOT about her skill nor professionalism. I had a very poor experience with the business itself. I booked an appointment on the phone with a live person and left my credit card number to reserve the appointment, even though I alerted them I was paying with a gift certificate. I arrived at the appointment (10 days notice) to find they didn’t put it on their calendar. This is as a first-ever guest to this location. I re-booked after that disappointment, presenting. my gift certificate for a 1 hour massage to the desk staff. They noted it and booked my one hour session, holding the appointment with my gift card. My gift card was won at a charity auction wherein Massage Envy donated a “free- 60 minute session.” It read that on the face of the Gift card. THEY ACTED DECEPTIVELY. After the massage when I presented the card they told me it “only had $51 on it,” and was not sufficient for the promised gift certificate pledge of a one hour massage, and that they required I pay the balance of the Non-Member price. Making my total investment for a “free massage” close to $199. Three serious problems here: (1) failing to calendar and keep appointments, (2) not honoring a gift certificate for the pledged amount, (3) not having discerning enough staff to rectify a clear customer service problem. I would NEVER spend $120 there on a massage—there are far more skilled people in McAllen to go to; now I will have a negative customer service story to endlessly repeat about them. Lesson for Massage Envy, if you’re attending to this: do what’s right, don’t be cheap, keep your promises, win and retain customers.

Great place to go for a relaxing massage!!!! Blanca was very great. She knew exactly the correct amount of pressure and spots to hit. Would definitely recommend coming to this location to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress relieving time out of their day!

The massage therapist was a real healer and helped me lots. However half hour was lost typing a Form upon arrival. I paid one hour but he treated me 30 minutes. I wished the reception could had explained it do I could arrive early or filled it in after massage. He did not read the Form. He will I am sure. So the therapist get 5 stars the rest no good rate at this time. Gloria

Rey was great. Every time you call they put you on hold for a very long time. The place needs an upgrade, looks a little dingy.

Im only giving this one star review because there is no option for ZERO STARS!!! This company is a scam! They charge you every month and when you dont use those points they wont let you use them as credit if you no longer want to be subscribed. So in order to use your credits you have to continue to pay them when you no longer want to pay expect just use what you have already paid for and discontinue membership! Manager wanted me to re-enroll, pay an enrollment fee and have a ONE YEAR commitment after I have been a customer for so long their! I dont get massages often so this is not an ideal membership for me. Their company is undergoing a lot of issue internally and it seems they cant get a grip on the situation. At this rate, I wouldnt be surprised they loose a lot of their clientele. Good riddance!

My favorite massage place! I love that it’s always clean, quite, and relaxing. If you like deep tissue massages book with Rey he is great!

Always feel so much better! I do my best to go every 3-4 weeks. I schedule appointments with Ayme, and she always asks how I want my pressure and if I have any trouble spots. This last time, my lower back was bothering me. She really worked her magic. I always come out feeling better than when I went in.

I enjoy going once a month for some self care time. I get the 60min massage session and occasionally pair it with a facial. I work out a lot at the gym and work. After the sessions, I feel like Ive been on a peaceful trip. I totally recommend it for guys or girls.

UPDATE!EVERYTHING IS GREAT AS LONG AS YOU CAN USE YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AND AFFORD TO KEEP GOING.Once I could no longer afford the service, but had several months of massages banked up due to the pandemic, I would lose all my credits if I canceled my subscription. I agreed to their reduced program where you only pay $20 to keep your credits. They didnt tell me they would automatically start billing me $70 again after 6 months. When I realized they did, I replied to their text message that I need to cancel as my wife & I have been out of work and I would appreciate a refund for this month. They gave me their scripted, we cant help you, you agreed to be billed, etc. speech. She said maybe management could help. I asked to speak to them, she said theyre not there. I asked them to call me, she said they probably wont help me since I waited 10 days to contact them...I sent the text 6 days ago to the number theyve always used to book my appts that says, reply if you have any issues, etc. I will NEVER go back or refer anyone here.The service is always great. Bertha was able to break up several knots I didnt even know I had. The pressure was intense, but she did not leVe me sore or in any pain like many others do.

Rey has been my therapist for about 1 year. He listens about my aches addresses those areas . When my massage is over I am completely relaxed. Rey and the staff are wonderful

Do not EVER GIVE ANYONE a gift card from this place...They have an introductory rate of $70 BUT if you pay with a gift card, they charge toy $120 non-member rate.My husband got me a gift card from this place, I could have gotten an introductory rate anywhere else with the cash he put in that card.The massage wasnt great either.

I canceled my membership. The front staff would mess up on my scheduled appointments. This happened multiple times. On my remaining time I had paid for they told me the incorrect time I had remaining. I went in for my last hour, which is what they told me previously, then come to find out I only had 30 minutes not the full hour. I always got a wonderful facial and massages but it’s unfortunate that there was poor communication with the front staff.

My therapist was amazing, Yvonne, she’s so nice, sooooo patient, and sooooo strong! I’m in love with my massage. Thank you 😊

I have to admit that my masseuse Amy did an exceptional job. My goal was to relax after a hellish weak and she was amazing. I found myself falling asleep twice which was embarrassing for me, but she was good to ignore. 😊 Thank you Amy!

I paid for an hour massage that was scheduled at 3pm. By the time I was told to sit in the lobby for a entry evaluation where I was then moved to another lobby, it was 3:10pm. I then was escorted to a room where I was instructed to undress to my level of comfortability which made it about 3:15 pm before the therapist entered the room. The therapist finished what they though was the appropriate time at 3:47pm. If someone pays for an hour massage, that is what they expect to get! This was not a great value and I won’t be back. Pay for an hour to get 30 minutes. Ha

Rey is a great masseuse. Always love getting a massage from him. Just started getting a facial with Ruth but it will probably become a habit. She does great and my face feels so refresh!

Massage Envy has a very relaxing environment. Totally worth it . Ivonne was fantastic and very professional.

The facial I had the other day was great. Every step was explained and my face felt wonderful afterwards. The only small issue was the woman doing the facial talked a little too much. Some might think thats being nitpicky but it truly made it harder to relax. Other than that I always get 5 ⭐️ service at Massage Envy

The therapists are great, but the people that schedule the sessions could improve. Ive scheduled two appointments, call to confirm, & when its time for my appointment, theyll tell me that Im not on the calendar.

I am amending my former review of my August/September 2021 experience. I phoned the Massage Envy manager, Gil, per the reply to my earlier review. He read my review, apologized, committed to train the front desk staff better AND DID REFUND the disputed amount I overpaid. He was courteous and followed up when he processed the refund the same day. I am grateful for Gil doing the right thing.

I loved my membership until I reviewed my contract. Apparently they are allowed to change the price even after you sign a contract. I was charged $10 more every month. I brought it to their attention & they said OOPS guess you did not get the call to tell you the price was going up. A phone call would not suffice. They have a legal obligation to honor the price but did not. I canceled my membership that day. I ended up needing a new debit card & they managed to get the number from Visa & charged it. I contacted the store and corporate and have not received a response. Luckily my bank is willing to do charge backs for every month since they are too busy to answer me. DO NOT SIGN UP! They are like an ex that wont go away!

As with the massage goers above I have already cancelled my membership and still continue to be charged. I have called repeatedly, left messages, but how odd...the manager is never in. Ill be writing corporate and the better business bureau for their excess charges. Worst customer service Ive received in a long time. The massages were ok, nothing to write home about. I really liked one of mine while being a member there, the rest were good/ok. I never had issues with tardiness. I think the latest we started was probably 5 minutes. Id reconsider getting a membership to that place, there are lots of other options around town.

Everytime a manager changes, they change their rules. They seemingly can make their own rules,so when I wanted to cancel my membership the manager was going to keep 8 paid massages!! The manager was rude, had no customer service, and didnt try to resolve my questions/issues. It shouldnt be the customers fault if they change stuff, and made a promise. At least give the customers advance notice. All other locations in the area are closed too. Terrible actions by the manager. Ambiance is mediocre because it is very clinical and not warming.

Yvonne gave me a wonderful 90 minute massage. No talking just focused on what she was doing!

First timer for Massage Envy. Very friendly and professional staff. You can get a “Light”, “Medium”, “Firm” or “Deep” massage. I got the Medium. Bertha was very thorough with the muscle knots and stress areas of my back, neck, legs and arms. I would definitely recommend Massage Envy.

Just walked out. Was sitting there waiting for over 30 minutes. My appointment was at 3:00 pm. The sweet receptionist took my info and put me in the waiting area around 2:55pm for my massage therapist to come to start my session. Basically I just sat in that dark waiting room for half an hour until I finally just walked out.

Blanca P. Is the most awesome therapist with her knowledge. Very polite and attentive with the massage. I recommend her to all of you. Thank you for your help Blanca. I feel a lot better.

Don’t bother with this place - there are many more great places to get your massage in the Valley. We’ve been going here for 3 years and it’s always some problem. Personal changes are constant, location change, contract changes without notice, limitation upon limitation yet up selling products is constant. Front desk doesn’t seem to know the fees/contracts/schedules. Again - go elsewhere. And guest relations - don’t bother asking me to email you - I already did! We won’t be back.

I have only been to this establishment twice before today and the ambiance has been great, and everyone working there thus far has been very friendly to me and my son.When I read these google reviews I do not understand how some of you can be so mean spirited, I have had my fair share of Customer Service jobs so I do try to see both sides but some of you forget that we are all human. No one is perfect and you never know what someone is going through. Js.5 stars for my visit today, everyone there was a pleasure and I will return!

I had a great massage therapy yesterday. I love my therapist cuz she knows exactly my body areas that need to be worked on every time I go in. I give a high five every single time…

David is the only massage therapist I see because his pinpointed deep pressure helps relieve my tight knots like no one else. Then Amy made my partners first massage experience such a dream, that well be returning for a couples massage every month. They both know how to help someone give back to themselves and create a soothing ambiance. Cant wait until this location offers the hot stone treatment! Thatll be a treat to myself every other month...maybe more lol

Warning!! This location will lose your membership cancellation even if you hand deliver it to them, as I did. They will look for any reason to keep charging you. My girlfriend and I dropped off our completed cancellation forms back on 3/30, they tell you there is a 10 day processing period for cancellation so we got charged for April. Okay, I accepted that. Today, 4/21, I call and find out our memberships STILL arent cancelled and nobody knows the status of our forms and gosh did we even turn them in? So now if I start over again, guess what- the May charge will be added. Be prepared to spend time on writing complaints and consulting with attorneys once you are ready to move on.

Bertha has 20 years experience & was one of the best therapist that Ive had ANYWHERE! She read my body like a book.

I would give even fewer stars except that I went with my husband, and he had a terrific experience. But that highlights the inconsistency of the service there.We filled out these forms (leaving out the unnecessary personal information they requested) that said what kind of massage we wanted, problem areas, etc. My therapist clearly never read my form because she asked me all the same questions I just filled out. My husband said his therapist was familiar with his form. We scheduled an hour massage each. He got a full hour; I got shorted 12 minutes. He got a extensive scalp massage; she gave me very little pressure at all. She barely touched my face; my husband said he got a deep facial massage. My husband said his therapist pulled his arms, stretching the muscles. I got nothing like that. Supposedly, I got a full body massage, but she never even touched the back of my legs! Some of the biggest muscles in the body are there.While I sat in the waiting room, waiting for his massage to be over, many people came out raving about their massage & the therapist, so clearly most people there do a good job. One guy even showed his client a little muscle stretch he can do for his shoulder at home. I think I just got the worst person there.My husband was so happy he wanted to do the contract. I was cautious enough to make it the 6 month one (but hearing other peoples contract nightmares...). I will go back but I will specifically requesst NOT Monica.

Great communication with office staff but unfortunately my massage experience was not as thorough as I’d hoped. I requested a deep tissue massage focusing on my back and neck but instead received a very light pressure massage mainly on my arms and legs.

Excellent, listened when I said I wanted to focus on my neck and shoulders and wasnt afraid to get in there and break up knots.

First massage ever here and compared to other the massage therapist Brandon did a phenomenal job. I suffer from chronic back pain after an accident I had two years ago. I feel fantastic and the pain has subsided although I know it wont go away completely but Ill just keep coming back.

Great service but I cant use my prepaid sessions for anyone else or purchase a gift card without getting charged 10$ extra. The other thing I dont like is to be asked if Im leaving any gratuity in front of other people. If I wanna leave gratuity its my business I dont need to be asked.

I had made an appointment for a massage at 1, something came up so I called TWICE over an hour ahead of time to reschedule, nobody answered so they went ahead and cancelled my appointment and charged me for it, because they couldn’t answer the phone when i tried to reschedule. First and last time

Horrible doesnt even describe it! Bad service, unreturned calls and mismanagement is just the beginning. I guess they try to meet quota by selling you credits that they say you can use any time and conveniently tell you that it was a membership that wasnt used and expired when you want to use it. They dont honor a gifts either as my daughter was told she couldnt use her $150 gift certificate! Its no wonder this company is getting sued by so many people. The way its managed on a corporate and local level is rediculous. They require prepayments for services but dont render.

Just fair warning to anyone going to this place of business DONT ....my wife went there for a well needed message paid with a credit card, next thing we know they are charging our card monthly for 49.00 for a membership which we never authorized took several threatening calls with media news exposure, and bank intervention via fraud investigation. From reading all the other reviews.......DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!

I came in for tension in my neck, back and shoulders. My therapist, Rey, concentrated on the area and worked out several knots. Rey also worked on an area of a frozen shoulder and it did wonders. Rey was friendly and professional.

Was once an Awesome place , now even if you have medical reason for not keeping apt they deduct the cost of the visit you cant even get a massage when yo truly need it .

The mansger was rude very unprofessional looking not properly dressed very inaproperate for a business. he needs to look well groomed ,button up shirt n slacks should look like a manger not janitor.. was very rude and mannerism. not please..on the oher hand my massuse was the best very well knowledgeable in his.profession very polite and professional.

Amy explained stretch therapy professionally & courteously. Liz at reception was exceptionally friendly, professional & very helpful.

Appointment was on time and the massage was very very good felt alot better.

So bottom line is dont trust your staff because they say one thing but when it comes down to technicality you like to throw in fine print policies for more profit of the day.

I’ve been a member at the mcallen Tx Envy since they opened and today at around 7:99 pm I called to set up an appointment and I was put on hold for over 5 minutes not once did she come back on the line to say she was tending to another client, so I hung up, And called back 8 times and of course no answer, these young people talk to their friends first and worry about the customers later, in considering not being a member 🤬

Messages are good but the front desk is just horrible when it comes to cancelling membership makes you jump throw obstacles and then putting my unused sessions hostage unable to let my credit to be used as I see fit
