Hot Stone massage given by Valentine was amazing. It’s very hard to find a masseur or masseuse that knows how to do a hot stone massage. Definitely book your hot stone massage with Valentine! My facial with Jessica was very relaxing and she was knowledgeable.The amenities definitely allow you to reach your ultimate level of relaxation!The only reason I am giving 4 stars is I was not able to book a full day of services. My husband purchased a package which included: massage, facial, exfoliating hair treatment, manicure and pedicure. They only had time for a massage and facial because they close at 6 and services would go over that time. My other option was to do my hair treatment before massage and blow dry my own hair and come back later for a mani / pedi. I went ahead and just changed the services and got my massage and facial.When I was leaving the two women up front didn’t acknowledge me as they were on the phone. I waited for about 5 minutes then left the locker key on the desk and even though I was interested in product I left as one of the women greeted another customer instead of acknowledging me.I would definitely like to come back as I did enjoy services I received

My husband graciously treated me to a wonderful spa day. The package included a hair cut, hair color, facial, and massage. I also had the opportunity to enjoy the spas amenities, which left me feeling incredibly relaxed and at peace. I look forward to returning for more treatments very soon, as its important to prioritize self-care and self-love. I highly recommend this spa to anyone in need of a day of relaxation or specific treatments like a hair cut or facial. The staff members are all very professional and attentive to their customers needs.

I have never been so belittled in my life by their Manager, Eric. Ive been a customer for over 25 years and when I missed an appt I had made 6 weeks earliert my card was charged for the full service. I tried talking to the manager but he would not bend. Im 67 years old and think Im allowed forgetting an appt., even 2 in the last 25 years. He stated the sent me a reminder text, but i did not get it at my end. He literally acted like a big oversized child, even mimicing me. That did not matter to Eric, he was most interested in making $130 than keeping a customer. Im very hurt to say the least and hope David and Dora take note. I consider them and staff more of friends then just hair stylists.I give the stff 5 stars. I love them and will miss them. Very Hurt!!

The Experience was great! I went in for a full body massage and enjoyed it. Because of that package I purchased, I could use the Jacuzzi & Sauna. The place is super clean, they have really friendly staff. The massage really helped my tired muscles. Def going back.

I will never go back again, took my son for a haircut and they totally chopped up his hair. This guy should not be cutting hair. I am so disappointed with this place, you would think they would have experienced haircut stylist. Peeps, consider yourself warned.

Jennifer at De Sanchez Spa was great! I was not in a happy place with my hair and after my appointment with her, she left it soft and bouncy and full. You can tell all of her suggestions came from years of experience and Im so glad I took them. Would definitely recommend Jennifer the next time youre there!

First of all I always schedule with Rita she’s awesome , but when I called to make the appointment lady on the phone told me she was out and I could schedule with someone else, first I said no it’s ok , then she said that they do the same work person was really good , so I wanted it done asap for my son’s birthday the next day , so I scheduled , before I went for my appointment I had two consultations I told them exactly how I wanted my hair I even showed a picture , I even specified that I had let my hair grow for a whole year so basically half of my head was virgin. When I got there to my appointment they were still clueless and what I wanted to get done so when they were done with my hair , For me it looked fine until I went outside, immediately once I saw my hair in the mirror I walked back into the salon and told them if they could fix it because it looked red and orange and it did not look like a balayage, besides that I was given a 20% off , they charged me $360.00. The staff was really helpful they did ask for that person to try and fix my hair, I had to return twice , for that person to tell me that I had to do dark to cover the red and orange :( at that point I didn’t care I just wanted my hair to look ok , management should have refunded me half no excuses , no I don’t want to go back for more bleach to be put on my hair , my hair feels damaged as it is …Next time please don’t compare someone else to Rita, it’s not fair for the costumer …

I LOVE this place!😍 as a transgender person this is the only place where I have felt very welcomed and accepted for my identity. De Sanchez helped me recreate myself and become the man I was always destined to be. All of the staff members were so supportive and open to help me find my new look. The diversity and creativity in this salon is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced before. In addition, they are experts at what they do. The quality of their work is unbeatable and worth every penny. I highly recommend going here and trying their 5 star services ⭐️ I have never felt this handsome and embraced as when I go to this salon.

Please do yourself a favor and do not come here. It’s literally so expensive just for a simple layering and bangs. i’ve never gotten such a bad hair cut. i had a photo for reference but like every hair stylist ever they just do what they feel like doing on your hair. My hair cut is so choppy and my bangs are actually so horribly done. No sides are equal either. I didn’t say anything when I was there because they style it with a blow dryer so I couldn’t see how choppy it was.

I have been coming to De Sánchez for years and since have moved to The Woodlands but I keep coming back because the service is very customer service driven and professional. Eric is so friendly and inviting at the front desk. My spa massage treatment with Bertha was amazing!! Sylvia did my waxing was flawless and Paula cut and blowed out my hair it feels so healthy and looks great! I have received many compliments. My husband got his massage too and we really enjoyed the spas womens and mens amenities. So worth it! Houston doesnt have anything like this retreat all in one place. You have to come and relax your body and indulge your senses.

Horrible experience. I was supposed to have a long bob, instead my hair is 3 in shorter and hacked up! I left crying after the owners daughter Margarita or Rita gave me the worst cut ever! I cried all day and am still depressed at the horror that is now my hair. I only gave a 1 rating because it wont allow me to leave it blank. Then she had the audacity to tell me she didnt see my hair as uneven. Dont go there save yourself time, pain and suffering!!!

My experience cutting my hair at De Sanchez has always been a great one.Never an issue with booking an appointment and they do a great job of reminding before the day.I am always welcomed with a smile from the receptionist before heading over to the haircut areaI’ve been going with Rita for a year now and will only trust her with my hair.I’m extremely picky with how it’s cut and she understands exactly how to get it done every time.Highly recommend!

Horriable service!!!! had an appt at 3:30 and didn’t attend me until 4:20! to make matters worse the lady who cut my hair didn’t even try she told me she had 30 mins to cut my hair and didn’t even turn out how i wanted at all!!! TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE they didn’t even dry my hair, the lady who cut my hair left and took me to another chair where i was with my hair wet for 20 mins! i couldn’t stand being there anymore so i left!!! MY HAIR CUT ISNT EVEN WHAT I WANTED SO MAD

I had my hair cut, colored, and styled by Veronica. She is absolutely amazing!! I left the salon looking fabulous. I did not come out looking like I had obviously just colored my hair - with my scalp full of color or having my face and ears stained with hair color. This is the first time ever that I was not left full of color all over my skin like all other salons Ive ever been to. De Sanchez Spa & Salon is definitely the nicest place is McAllen. The staff is incredibly nice and the spa is very beautiful. Veronica is just the sweetest person and carries great conversation. I would recommend their services as they are top tier.

Friendly, but cut my hair (after showing pictures of what I wanted) & it didnt look at all how I wanted. She then said she couldnt do that haircut for me. Why did she say yes and start cutting it then? 3 stars at it was clean and the staff is nice.

My longtime hairdresser was getting busy with other ventures and I was in need of finding someone to fill her shoes. Once I met with Rita, I knew I had found the right person and place to take care of not just me, but my two daughters. I’ve learned a little along the way thanks to all the bleach/process and experiences I’ve had throughout the years. After meeting with Rita and hearing her carefully go over the science and expectations with what I wanted, I was smitten! Rita, Aaron and Lee, They’ve done such an amazing job with taking care of our hair. We love the atmosphere and skill they have! I always look forward to appts with them!

My stylist was Rita and she did an amazing job! I showed Her what I wanted and it turned out exactly what I expected. I highly recommend her. Had a Kerastase product hair strengthening treatment. My hair felt n looked fantastic! The service Josh gave me, explaining the process, answering any questions before the process, making sure I understood was an added plus. Definitely setting up more. Next week is a massage can’t wait!

I was gifted several services for my birthday. I hadn’t cut my hair in 6 years but my hair stylist Lee, I highly recommend her!! She did such a great job and made my hair look beautiful for my gender reveal party. Everyone is so nice and friendly ❤️

This was such a disappointment.Many friends had recommended this place , so I booked an appointment for my pedicure.The lady that was in charge of my pedicure was extremely talkative, I was there to relax not to talk about my kids and my life ; she cut my cuticles badly so now I have a couple of scars, she didn’t know how to pull an ingrown nail, so she called another lady to help her and teach her how to do that.. on an $85 dollar pedicure! That wasn’t spectacular at all, not even out of the ordinary so I felt robbed. I don’t mind paying for a service as long as is professionally executed , spa level.I specifically asked her to give me a massage on my feet since I work standing , not the legs , well I had to ask twice cause she did the oposite.A told the cashier at the end that my experience had been bad and she just told me she was gonna talk to the manager about it.I canceled my full set appointment for next week in that very moment.Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m going back.

This has been my salon for 10 years and each visit with Rita is amazing! She is an expert at her craft. Now my daughter goes to there too! We love De Sanchez!

First impressions are everything these days! The women at the front desk were so sweet that were kind and treated me with a smile. As I sat filling out my paper customers came in and they greeted them by name. I have gone to the same spa back home for years and never once greeted by name as I walked in. I was walked through the facility, it was beautiful and clean. Brenda was amazing I highly recommend her! Not only did she read my stress and comfort she educated me on how I could help my muscles based on what she felt. I will be back and will continue to go back to this wonderful place. This place is a joke, prices are extremely high from unprofessional stylist. Done a terrible service and kept talking to me even when I came to get some peace and quiet. I normally go to my other salon but due to a covid situation I googled this place and came here instead. Seems like they were good before but from recent reviews this place is terrible. You want a cheap style or spa treatment for triple the price from amateur professionals then this is your go place but I suggest don’t spend your hard earn money here, this place is a scam.Edit; clearly this isn’t my real name, be mature and own up to your mistakes. Your workers are the worse I’ve ever experience here in the valley and should be ashamed.

I had the best service and my hair looks amazing!! Rita was attentive and took her time to help me achieve the subtle caramel balayage look that I wanted. I am beyond pleased with my results and would highly recommend this place for all of your salon and spa treatments. Great customer service! Rita and Vicky have been amazing understanding what I want with my hair. Rita did my make up and hair for my engagement photos, wedding day, baby shower and maternity photo shoot and did an amazing job! Made those special moments even more special by making look beautiful!

I made my appointment with Vicky, and since the consultation she made me feel very comfortable about getting highlights for the first time. This was the first time I ever dye my hair. My highlights were exactly how I wanted them. Vicky was very nice and pleasant! And so was everyone else. Its a very relaxed atmosphere. I will totally go back again.

First time at De Sanchez and I fell in love immediately! The staff was extremely polite and friendly when I first walked in, took me on a tour of their facility. I had a deep tissue massage & a eminence facial (which I HIGHLY RECOMMEND) This Spa is top of the line, I’ll definitely will be going more often.

My experience with Rita was beyond my expectations!!! Loved her work and professionalism towards me. I asked and she gave me exactly what i wanted with my hair. Super duper happy with my hair. I went to De Sanchez after a hair disaster, I even cried at my consultation with Aaron because of how devastated I was with the work someone else at another place did on my hair. Aaron was super helpful and gave me several options, showed me the color it would be and how it could be fixed without damaging my hair. I went back the next day and Jae took care of the color correction, she did great, took her time and was very helpful. I am so thankful for both of them and their professionalism. I will definitely go back for the touch-up and I will also be recommending them! Thank you so much guys!

Very friendly staff! A bit pricey for hair service relative to the quality of work. Went in for a root touch up that took over 3 hours (90 minutes top is appropriate). Nail services are good. Wax services were ok. I just think the staff overall is inexperienced but that won’t be forever. It’s a lovely place and they deserve a chance if you’re looking for a salon/spa.

I believe this salon is pricy as well due to the quality of the work from some hair stylists. Some stylists are good others need work. I feel as if they treat people with money BETTER than treating all customers with the same positive attitude, from situations Ive seen. I also dont see the need to make appointments because I get there on time and my stylist didnt get with me until 20 minutes after the set appointment time which was frustrating. My hair stylist is very out of touch when communicating with me shes always focused on other peoples conversations and rushes her work leaving me feeling like why did I put myself in this situation again with the same stylist. This isnt a salon I want to give up in but my opinions stay the same when I go. I dont want a response saying my concern was heard instead of saying that how about actually have a staff meeting and get the salons customer service in place?

De Sanchez has great and friendly service. I need to go back for another trim. I highly recommend to everyone that ask where I have my hair done. They are actually asking because of my hair color but my hair color is natural and I just say that Aaron at De Sanchez does my hair cut. :) and does a great job!

The spa was excellent. My husband bought me a package for mothers day and I loved it the staff was very friendly, the massage was just what I needed and I also got to use the sauna and jacuzzi which were very clean and relaxing. The restrooms were clean as well and they provided with all I needed. Worth the price.

Loved the service and massage provided at De Sanchez Spa. They do their utmost best to make you feel relaxed throughout your entire stay. They even offered me a tea after the massage. Their complementary use of the Jacuzzi, Showers, and Sauna make this place a spot above the rest. I will definitely be coming back for another massage. Just...maybe not the hot stones massage as the stones were a tad bit too hot for my liking.

Wow. Very beautiful full service salon and spa! Came here to south Texas from San Diego and was very skeptical of finding a salon similar to what I was used to in SoCal. I must say, this salon is right up there with all the other high end salons that Ive been to in California. The staff was great. Vicki did a full balyage on my blonde hair and lightened it exactly how I wanted it. The owner was there talking to the guests and was very very friendly. We spoke for a while while I was getting my hair colored. After my service he toured me around the spa and showed me everything they had to offer their clientele. All in all, great salon and spa with amazing staff. Very very pleased!!! I will definitely be coming back for a touch up before I leave my vacation to go back to So Cal!

The worst hair salon in the area. I had a terrible coloring service experience: wrong color, some parts of my hair were missed, I left with color on my face and ears and to make worse I had burns on my scalp. My 12 years old boy could color my hair better! Too pricey for inexperienced hairdressers, horrible customer service, and a rude manager.

I am so glad I tried this place out after a friend recommended it. Rita gave me a great cut and Jasmine did an awesome job on my nails. I am a new customer and I am 100% satisfied. This is definitely going to be my go to place from now on. I highly recommend it.

How do I even begin?! I attended de Sanchez a couple of days before my wedding to get some much needed relaxation and I definitely found the place! I came in for a relaxation massage and it was simply euphoric and amazing! Afterwards, I spent some time in their jacuzzi and steam room awaiting my appointment for my nails (which they were able to squeeze me in very last minute the day of!) Brianda was my nail tech and she gave me the best experience. I had come into the appointment nervous because just a day before, i had gotten my nails done elsewhere and they were sensitive, bruised and a complete mess. I was nervous she wouldn’t work on them because of how bad they were, but she soothed me, reassured me, and walked me through what her plan to fix them would be. After all, these were my wedding nails! I had to have them look amazing for all my photos! Needless to say, she did great and I was completely satisfied with my entire experience. I highly recommend de Sanchez for all your relaxation and cosmetic needs! ❤️

I’ve been going to your salon for many years and I’ve never received as horrible service as this last time I went. The lady used the wrong dye color, which caused burning to my scalp. While sitting waiting for the hair color to set in my hair, the lady left 2 wet towels on my shoulders & neck where I had to ask another employee to get me a dry towel and I was left soaking wet - my shirt was drenched. Oddly there was dye color all over which I had it all over my forearms and hands. When getting my hair rinsed of the dye, my hair was pulled several times. After getting my hair rinsed from the hair dye, I ran my fingers through my hair to look at the work that was done but I also had excessive itching and discomfort; my hand was covered in hair dye, which also ruined my nails. She didn’t rinse the dye out if my hair- she rinsed my hair 2-3 times and didn’t rinse out the color out completely. I had color dye all over my face, neck, hands, and nails. I had to request for the color dye to be removed from my hands and face otherwise the lady was ready to let me leave like that if I had not looked in the mirror and asked. I’ll be looking for a different salon- this experience was horrible and my hair didn’t look as fantastic as it has in the past. Not to mention, I arrived 15 minutes early and was seen 15 minutes late!

I absolutely loved my relaxation massage! Used Jacuzzi and will go back again soon. Came out with no back pain! So glad my husband introduced me to De Sanchez. ❤️👌🏼

Salon is amazing, clean and extremely relaxing, however only problem i had I wanted deep tissue and I kept telling massage therapist harder plz she never went deeper and I also told her the oil she was putting on meWas freezing cold! She just said oh.... and kept putting cold oil on my back 😩 other than that salon is amazing

The spa at De Sanchez is beautiful and so relaxing. It was my first time receiving a massage there, and it met my expectations for the most part. My only complaint is that I paid for 90 mins (which is very expensive) and my masseuse shaved off 15 mins (she started 10 mins late and ended 5 mins early). I have not yet decided if I will return for a massage. However, I will continue going to De Sanchez to get my hair done with Rita. She’s the best!!!

De Sanchez staff treats you like family and make you feel like you’re at home. Rita cuts my hair and she’s amazing! Everyone is great. I strongly recommend.

We had a couples massage and was delighted it went so well. It was so relaxing and the greatest masseuses available to us! We delighted in using the facilities: jacuzzi, steam room and hot sauna separately. We’d do this again often in the future!

Great work! Had to wait a little longer than I thought and my lady looked rushed and overbooked, but she didnt charge me for the trim and blow dry so it worked out. Love my new hair color and someone washes my car while I was getting my hair did!

FromThe moment I sent off the email requesting an appointment and I received a call back right away, I felt appreciated as a customer. Booking was simple and the customer service was outstanding. I was reminded that I could come in early to take advantage of the spa facilities prior to my scheduled massage.On the day of my appointment, the staff was super helpful in showing me the facilities since it was my first time there. They were very thorough and friendly.I was able to relax in the spa (hot tub, steam room, & sauna) for about an hour prior to my scheduled massage.The massage itself was wonderful. Brenda was so kind and really made my relaxation massage feel completely relaxing. Brenda wrapped up the session and offered me a warm cup of tea and I got to relax a little longer in the relaxation room.Overall, I think the experience was worth every penny and I can’t wait to schedule my next massage.
