First I will start with the massage therapist was sweet and the massage was wonderful. What was not so great was the treatment I got after I completed my session. I made my appointment online 5 weeks prior and chose a 90 min session and aroma therapy. I received gift cards for Xmas so I made sure I stayed within the amount I had. AFTER my session I went to pay and they gave me a total that was $35 more! Also I booked a 90 min session to start at 5pm the gal didn’t start until 520 and promptly ended at 630pm, so I got jipped there. I said absolutely not, that was not the prices that were online when I booked ! The gal said 2 weeks prior they raised prices and nothing they could do about it. LOL… so you just randomly throw a price out to the client AFTER they finished session? I told her you cannot not just raise the price when the appointment was booked so far ahead, without notifying the client ahead of time . Then another gal stated they weren’t really associated with the online booking! Really? Well how did you get my booked appointment? And they won’t answer the phones I had tried for a week to call and reschedule. VM said they will call back, well some of us have a real job and have to call when we have availability.. I work medical field so it is hard to get a call in . Needless to say I will NEVER go back and will make sure everyone I know does not go there either. Bunch of young scam artists
Ive been a member of Massage Envy since 2010 and have enjoyed their services in several different states since that time. The Mentor location is honestly one of the best Ive seen. Their deep tissue massage therapists are excellent and their customer service is one of the reasons I choose to stay a member.
Let me start but saying the staff was extremely nice and welcoming, all around. The massage was great and very relaxing. However, I paid for a 90-minute massage and only received a 70-minute massage. I expressed this to the staff as I was getting ready to pay and all they said was they were sorry and that hopefully if I book again, I will get the full 90-minutes. I tipped my therapist anyways and paid for the 90-minute massage since clearly they weren’t going to do anything about it. Very friendly group of folks but I will not be returning.
Courtney was my massage therapist and she was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in she made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was knowledgeable and skilled in all that she does. I cannot praise her enough for the outstanding job she did. I will absolutely be returning to her for my next massage!
I started my monthly membership prior to covid and never had an issue getting appointments at that time. However, after covid restrictions were lifted this location struggled to meet customer demand and with staffing ( just like everywhere else). They never had availability and I was on a waiting list. I accumulated numerous massages from being billed monthly. I still have 7.5 of those at this time. I called and they froze my account for me. Great, but they continue to struggle to have availability. They would text me at times with last minute appointments that I was rarely available for. My account was frozen multiple times and now they say I cant freeze any longer even though they are the ones who cant meet customer demand. I was given the options: cancel my membership and use up the accrued sessions in 70 days ( laughable since they never have openings), continue with the status quo, or pay $20 a month for a freeze on my account. Others here noted this locations staffing issues and is bad business to put your issue off on the customer so much that they have no real options that are fair to them.
Honestly Im really disappointed. I called almost 2 months ago to try and schedule a couples massage for a vacation we are taking. I was told the books werent open yet and to keep checking online for availability to book an appointment. I checked every week for about a month, then every few days starting in May for a June appointment. I only saw one availability pop up, and it wasnt for the service we needed. I called towards the middle of May to try and get help with scheduling thinking something was wrong with the site, just to find out booking was full.Now, its past the time for me to schedule anywhere else, and a part of our vacation we were really looking forward to unfortunately wont be happening.So if youre trying to book with this place, you apparently have to call at the beginning of the month prior to your service and schedule. Do not rely on online booking.
I tried booking a appointment almost 2 months in advance, got no response until 2 weeks b4 my vacation and all of a sudden the day/time I was asking for (for almost 2 months just became unavailable) definitely dont recommend to anyone, get ur workplace in order please u just ruined my second day of my vacation, these vacations are not easy to come by,,,!!! Do not look up this place it is a obviously rip off of a establishment and it will not work with you!!!
I’ve had low back pain for a while and had chiropractors try to relieve my pain with minimal results. After one session with Chelsea my back feels 100% better. I highly recommend Chelsea

Every therapist I have seen has taken the time to make sure that I am taken care of - they make sure that the pressure is right, that I am comfortable, and they always spend a little extra time on my problem areas! The therapists are knowledgeable about therapeutic/medical massage. I could not continue in my profession with my bi-montly to monthly visits with Chris S. I describe my pain and location, then Chris knows exactly how to reduce the pain and correct the problem. When he is not available, I schedule with Derek. Both are great! Thanks to you both.
I was told to come early to update paperwork, but there was no one at the desk. When someone did arrive she said I didn’t need to update anything.Chelsea was professional and did an excellent massage paying special attention to the painful areas. I would request her again.

I was recommended to a therapist at massage envy by my doctor for chronic neck and shoulder pain. I was pushed into the year membership on my first visit. My therapist was really helpful for my condition. About two months after I signed up for the membership, I lost my job. I was now struggling to pay this other monthly bill. I was not able to cancel my membership without paying for the entire rest of the year at that time. I understand that those are the terms, but things happen and can change drastically in a matter of months. A few months later, my therapist left. Now I had a bill I can hardly pay, and no therapist to help me in the way that I really need. Again, I was not able to cancel my membership. Its clear that the company cares more about money than actually helping people. A business is a business and I get that. But people fall on hard times. I wasnt there because I was rich, I was there because I was in pain. I gifted a few of my massages and of course it is an additional fee each time you do that. For my last two months, I used one for myself and one for my husband. Mine was okay but he has terrible lower back issues and shoulders as well. His shoulders felt better but the lower back was hardly touched. He left in as much pain as he came in. Also it should have been known that I was a member there and it was pushed on my husband to start a yearly membership. I dont believe this is the place to go if you are in pain and looking for help.
I rejoined after being a member for over 7 years. I have 2 favorite Masage Therapists there. They changed owners so I m not sure that I like the new free? add ons that come with your monthly massage, but we will see, hopefully you can switch them for ones you know you like? I usually do not get add ons. I am there for the massage!
I was told my appointment was at 7pm on Friday the 26th of November. I got a text message to confirm it. When I arrived to facilty the respectionist checked me like normal. I arrived at 648pm. Mind you I drove from Lyndhurst, Ohio, which is about 30 minutes to drive. I sat in the back until 707pm to get told my appointment was at 8pm. I asked her why did I get a text saying my appointment is scheduled for Nov 26th at 7pm? She said it wasnt their fault and I could sit in their facility and wait an for my appointment to start. Why would I wait an hour with no comfort measures sitting in and uncomfortable seat and Im pregnant? Wow. She told me the only thing she could do was make me another appointment and the manager would call me. Needless to say I never heard from any manager. If you want to talk about fault, the only one who is at fault is me. For thinking Massage Eny would provide an adequate customer service experience. Never tell a paying customer its not your fault👊👊👊👊.

The therapist that I had was absolutely WONDERFUL.. His name was Justin and even though I did not purchase a membership I am strongly rethinking that decision. Justin was attentive and respectful and used the right amount of pressure, I felt so much better than I have in a long time.
A nice experience overall. Nothing too overly impressive. Check in area, waiting room, and massage beds were just fine. Not boutique looking at all. Masseuse was decent but didnt seem to have an innate understanding of touch and massage. Reccomend if youre taking advantage of the introductory offer of 65$ for an hour.. not sure its worth the usual 95$ rate

I have a membership here and have always been provided with great service. The staff are experienced, friendly, and attentive to your needs. Most recently I have had Ashley as my masseuse and esthetician for my last 2 sessions. She is amazing!! I get muscle spasms in my neck which give me migraines and she is always able to work out any tension I have. Normally after a massage I feel relaxed and ready for a nap, but Ashley is so good that I actually feel energized when she is done!! Highly recommend scheduling a session at the Mentor location.
I just wanted to say I had a great sessions with (Dion) Im not sure if thats the correct spelling of her name. She was very professional and she gives an phenomenal firm massage. I was surprised by my brother and my sister in law . My brother sister in law who knows me very well. I planned to work all day on my birthday and they tricked me into going to Massage Envy on Mentor in Mentor, Ohio. I thought I was meeting at the sub shop next door. The staff was so upbeat and positive and honored all of notes that was put on my account as well. It was such an experience and much needed. I loved the added foot spa. A great facility

Sign on door says closed due to lack of staff. Thank goodness. Many great non “mcmassage” offices. Lol so no professional wants to work for basically minimum wage ! Anyway, went and the sales pitch is annoying. 50 min, not even an hour
The 30 minute targeted area relief service would have been better if a massage chair was provided rather than the client sitting on the edge of the massage bed but dispute this, James did a great job.
I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage today with Jeremiah. I have always told therapists to apply deep pressure and usually there are a few painful moments but overall the session is fairly easy on me. Jeremiah did an incredible job and applied PRESSURE. I come in to help alleviate pain associated with tight muscles from stress and I know that to achieve this it has to be tough, lol. This was the first session I’ve had that I almost had to ask for a break, but that’s what I asked for. I have never considered a membership to Massage Envy because I have a great independent therapist I see as-needed, but I had to sign up to continue receiving massages after this experience. Five star experience from both the Therapist and Alissa at the desk who signed me up for a membership and was friendly, helpful, and great at explaining everything. Highly recommend.
My massage was ok but Ive had better. I feel like they do not use enough product for the cost of service. Also, I had my massage as a gift and from the time I first arrived to the time I left, I felt as if I was at a used Honda dealership. I never had so much pressure to sign up as I had during my visit. I would not recommend due to the fact that they were so overzealous.

The staff is amazing and those Ive worked with are very good at their job and work with guests to meet their needs and requirements (Nikki C. at this location is particularly amazing). However, management is a joke. I dont know if its on a corporate level or if the people they hire to manage just dont handle guest relations well but they have made the process of freezing/canceling my account frustrating to say the least. I was told upon signing up that I could freeze ANY TIME with no stipulations added and I was also told Id likely have access to my account via the website; neither claims were true. I was willing to access that as genuine ignorance on the signing manager part, however, when I reached out before Mays payment period I was told a message was left for a manager to call me to help freeze my account; I was NEVER contacted by anyone. I was willing to look passed this as a user error and accept the massage Id end up with, with this charge, but again asked for a freeze to which I was told it would be done -- this was a manager I spoke to from what she said. Nothing happened. Then I couldnt afford it for June, obviously, but my card has been charged regardless in excess of over 15x since June 8th. Ill admit it took me some time to contact them but when I did I was told that Id need to update my credit card on file so that I could pay for June, this was in order to freeze my account because their systems.. wont allow it. Reasonably confused I emailed the manager back and asked her to just cancel my account and, hopefully (though I told her they didnt have to), to refund me for May since I never used the service. I was confused by the way because it made no sense to me that Id have to pay for my account to be frozen when this was never disclosed to me; remember NO STIPULATIONS is what I was told. Also, it seems odd that Id essentially need to pay to freeze my account.That was Tuesday June 22nd. It is now, as you can tell, June 28th. My card was charged AGAIN today and when I asked why they told me the manager was off this weekend. Explain to me how a manager being off for the weekend is relevant to an email sent earlier in the week that went ignored by management for precisely 4 and a half days? I cant seem to figure it out. Im willing to believe there are no malicious intentions, im even willing to believe there were genuine mistakes made but this entire situation has left a sour taste in my mouth. Im meant to hear back from management today, though I doubt it will be an acceptable or pleasing response Regardless, DONT expect freezing/cancelation to be easy if you get a membership and I strongly recommend against it.
I have a membership for 60 minute massages every month and for some reason the last two times I’ve went they forget about me in the waiting room. I had an appointment today for 9:00am with Heidi for a 60 minute massage and I’m still in the waiting room at 9:26am and I haven’t even had time to change or go to my massage room. so that’s already down to 34 minutes of my 60. It’s so rude. Do not come here I’m only stuck here because I made the poor decision to get a membership because they put on a show before you sign a contract. Horrible service and waste of money and time. I finally said something and they said that my massage therapist isn’t there and that they have to call her so now I’m out a massage and an hour of time and have to reschedule it and have horrible back pain. Way to abandon your clients Heidi!
My massage therapist Teresa is phenomenal, knowone comes close to her except for James! Everyone is always so nice that work there! I Highly recommend if your tight and need pressure point, deep tension, or even any massage style Teresa does it all. SHE IS AMAZING. JAMES IS TOO, BUT MY GIRL TERESA DEFINATELY TAKES THE CAKE!!!!
Today I had a wonderful massage. I had 11 massages due to me from a previous membership. When I made my next appointment I was told I could only use the 11 sessions if I sign up again and I had to pay for todays massage. How can I pay for 11 months and not receive what I paid for? At one other appointment my husband and I were told we could still use our credits. The place is a rip off and its too bad because the therapist was really good and I was looking forward to seeing him again. Obviously will never sign a membership with ME again. Buyer beware.
Had my first massage here with Jeremiah this week. It was amazing..deep tissue! He got all of my focus areas and was great at finding my knots. Girls up front were nice, too.
Massages were fine. Booked a 90 minute massage. Took us 20 minutes to fill out paperwork and get undressed and ready. They still managed to have us out of there in 85 minutes from appointment start. About 60 minutes of actual massage. What a scam.
So I booked my massage on there website Sunday morning after throwing my back out. I booked it for that day at 6:00 pm. I drove 30 minutes to come to this place and show up and they don’t have me down for an appointment. They then tell me they are having trouble with there site and can’t get me in until next day when I have to work. I said well then why do you have the option to book on your site if you are having problems. Then I am told its a corporate thing. So not only did I waste my time by choosing to come to this company I have used them before. I am in customer service and have to say this is one of the worst experiences I have had to deal with when you can help out someone who wanted to book with your company and used your site. I will make sure I tell anyone I know not to use massage envy and not to use there site since both are bad.
Amazing place for deep tissue!-Jeremiah goes hard and gets the job done.-Andrew is great for going deep in sensitive areas and awesome day to day massage.-Dean is awesome for when you want something not really deep, but also not light.
I was required to visit the closest location I could find to get the advertised online BOGO deal for gift cards as this holiday deal was not available via an eCard. when I arrived at the store I was told and no uncertain terms that none of the stores in the Cleveland area were offering the advertised deal. Despite the fact that I pulled up the ad, which showed no exceptions or stipulations, this location would not honor the price point. Once I accepted the fact that I would not benefit from the advertised pricing the manager had come out and at least treated me politely when I purchased the gift cards without benefiting from the sale pricing is advertised on the website.

I went to the one in Cleveland. This was a birthday gift. The staff is always friendly there and they really do pay attention to your needs or concerns. I always feel amazing after one of my sessions.

I walked in with some acne problems looking 35. After their peel I look 55. Dermatologist got a hold of PCA ingredient list. Says their product is just looking for bad reactions. So, I sent the list to a chemist friend for her to look at. She couldnt believe PCA wants this peel sitting on skin for 24 hours. Thats right folks. You go home with the peel on! Theres no putting make up on after leaving massage envy. Thats a lie.The wrinkling and constant dry skin peeling off since getting their peel is astounding. It never ends. Going on my 2nd visit to dermatologist since getting the peel 3 weeks ago today. Prognosis does not look good. Massage Envy cares so much they gave me sample products to combat the dryness. SAMPLE PRODUCTS. Eyelids wrinkled. Wrinkle lines all over cheeks. Wrinkle across forehead much MUCH deeper. I used to look younger than my friends. Now I look like an old lady. Beware Massage Envy. One size does not fit all when it comes to organs. Skin included
