10/10 highly recommend, I got a 2pm massage today I think his name is Bobby? But he was amazing. His pressure was on point, customer service top tier and his professionalism was top notch. Definitely ask for him if you have sore muscles, need a relaxing get away etc.

The experience I had was very relaxing. From the music, the lighting and of course the massage. It was my first time having a massage and it was very satisfying. I came in needing work on my calves and they feel much better. I will definitely be using Portia again for my next visit.

My 5 star is for Student Massage Therapist Judea Nobles.I had the 50 minute massage and her pressure was EXCELLENT, her pace was EXCELLENT, her technique is EXCELLENT. She is going to be a very effective Massage Therapist. She started my massage on time and checked in with me on comfort. The facility was clean and easy to find.Good experience!

Student Review: I took the 500 hr program. I was impressed with the front office . They were quick to respond to initial inquiry about massage therapy programs, explain financial options, and gave a brief tour of the school and on site spa. I felt that the instructors were very good: they explained in depth and were quick to find answers or if they didnt know they would consult with other instructors; we had a fair amount of hands on massage time in the classroom; exams were fair but you have to study--dont expect to not study--; we were challenged by having class projects and I felt those actually helped with comprehension of the subject material as well, not just for extra credit or busy work. If you dont understand something, just ask the instructors and they will find a way to break it down for you. Internship: The on site spa was pretty nice. We had decent access to clients for getting our massage intern hours. The prices are reasonable for interns to the public and the school also gives a nice discount to the students if they choose to have a service. They keep on site supplies, books, and massage tools for purchase as needed. Overall, I felt this was a great learning experience. They also offer CE classes. In addition, they also have LMT on staff at the spa as well.

I have used this place many times and have always received a good service until today. I booked a 50 minutes Swedish massage with Brianna Patterson, supposedly a licensed therapist. What I got was 40 minutes, and if I count the many times she stopped to check her phone, it was probably 30 minutes. During this time all she did was to rub lotion on me without any pressure. I asked her three times to please use some pressure and she kept saying ok but never did. I thought that the receptionist Amber Arredondo had made a mistake and booked me with an student instead. This place offers massage service with beginning students, advanced students and licensed therapists. I have used all three, and I can say that even the beginning students have done better than this lady. Not ever coming back.THANK YOU HANDS ON THERAPY FOR RIPPING ME OFF MY MONEY TODAY.

I just finished up my massage program here, and I couldnt have imagined choosing a different school. I was well prepared for my MBLEx exam, and I received quality hands-on instruction, and then quality virtual instruction in the midst of COVID-19. I had the greatest instructors who helped me finish my program in roughly 6 months. If youre looking for a massage school, seriously consider this one!

Take a chance on the students, not only have they learned the basics of massage as they go into their internship, they’ve learned how to incorporate it into the session, they need the hands on experience. For a massage that’s less than $50, I feel it is very worth it. They also have licensed therapist available for more complicated and advanced modalities that may be needed.

Went in for an appointment with Kim. Very, very rude woman. Too assertive with questions, never gave me a follow up call for my morning appointment even after telling me the night before that everything was set to go, loves that phone rather than conversation with another human, and I dont if its autism but she never makes eye contact when conversing with people. I encourage people to take thier business elsewhere with decent human beings that actually have a passion for therapy

Had an appointment to meet with JD and he never showed up. I drove all the way from Richardson in traffic for nothing, no one was on the school side and all he had to say was sorry about that. What a waste of time, gas and tolls! That was unprofessional and I wouldnt reccomend the school.

I stood at the reception area for ten minutes before being acknowledged (except for an excuse me by a young man that passed through twice). Once I was acknowledged, I was unable to be served despite loads of staff milling about.

Nice experience as a customer of the interns. Good massages. Get the 50 min. Anything less than that isn’t as intense.
