Do not stay at this hotel the Hindu at the front plays with blood contaminating your propertyThen some on entered the room to cut into my hard sole shoes . These shoes were new, I purchased them 4 days before they were cut into.

I had a pleasant stay here. The room was clean and area quiet. The experience was great overall. Of course, it could use a few upgrades because I used to stay here a lot back in 2014, but it has the same peaceful atmosphere and cozy feel to it. I didnt take pictures this time around, but I am planning my next stay.

Seriously do NOT stay here. I recently moved to Dallas and waiting for the deposit on my apartment to go through I needed a few nights in a hotel with my maybe 6 bags. I walk in and they say I have too many bags and need to leave. I used to be a Flight Attendant and have stayed in hundreds of hotels, I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully and I have NEVER been turned away for too many bags. In the 30 minutes I was there 3 different people told me not to stay here and they should be shut down. Pay a little more for a hotel that wont treat you like trash.

This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. The staff was rude,. unwelcoming and not helpful. Making people leave to get cash for a deposit to check in is absolutely ridiculous. Having to wait for someone to inspect your room so you can get your deposit back is the worst customer service I have ever seen. NOT TO MENTION THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!!!!! We didnt know if the sheets were clean, the shower curtain was covered in mold as well as the shower walls. Carpets are disgusting and walls are filthy. I would recommend that no one EVER stays in this place.UPDATE: Thanks for the response, however since it took 4 months to respond to a review I am quite certain nothing will be done regarding the conditions in this hotel.

I wanted a one night relaxing personal get away to just recoup. This is NOT the place. They made me leave a $50 cash deposit. Didn’t give me a receipt for the cash & told me I could cancel if I didn’t want to leave the cash. Yet couldn’t guarantee I would get my almost $100 I paid upfront back. So I stayed. Room smelt like weed. Very outdated. Wasn’t clean. Walls are paper thin so WHATEVER the neighbors are doing you will hear. Payed for a jacuzzi suite. Didn’t even get in it bc it looked gross. Last straw was when my toilet didn’t want to flush and I told the front desk and they gave ME a plunger like I worked there or it was my house. Nope! At that point I left. I did not enjoy my stay at all.I do not recommend this property to anyone.

Given that I have a disability, I was extremely happy and grateful with the service I received during my one-day stay at this hotel. The outside is clean and well-kept. Upon entering the hotel, I was greeted with a smile,courtesy and understanding of my circumstances by the front desk attendant. The room I stayed in (111) was spacious, loaded with a working AC, fridge and microwave, and with a clean bathroom with toiletries that was accessible for me, as well as clean, comfortable pillows and bed sheets that helped give me a great night’s sleep. If you’re considering staying at this hotel, know that the deposit is required in cash, that the hotel doors are locked after 10:00 pm, and that there are bending machines in case you need a soda or a snack. Next time I am ever in Mesquite, I will definitely return to this hotel. THANK YOU to the front desk attendants, again, for being understanding of me and my disability and for going above and beyond to make sure my stay was smooth.

M my backstory is simple, my husband and I were on our way home from a trip, saw this place on the Highway, and decided to stop because we had heard that Oreo was a pretty cool establishment. Upon arrival, we had to get $50 in cash for a deposit. Then we went to our room. Our toilet was already stopped up upon arrival. There was mold on the shower curtain, mold underneath the sink. And I cant tell you the last time the carpet had been vacuumed. Im not sure if it was the age of the building, or the untreated mold, but the room was very musty-smelling. The hot water did not work. When my husband and I called and went up to the front desk to tell them about the situation because no one answered the phone, we were told to fix it ourselves. Upon leaving, I developed a rash on my back that I can only assume are bed bugs. They did however give us back our cash deposit, only after inspecting a room, in about 20 minutes worth of arguing about the preexisting toilet situation that they refuse to fix but we were responsible to fix ourselves. I really do not recommend this place at all, no matter how cute the prices online.

Honestly, I’m not the type to post reviews. But this was the most disappointing experience with any hotel ever. Long story short due to not having cash for the deposit, okay a deposit is understandable. Even when trying to call the hotel before arriving we couldn’t get a hold on anyone. We even tried to find atms and cash back places and there were no where to be found. We aren’t from this area we just needed somewhere to stay for the night to get rest and get back up to drive back the next morning. That night did not go well for us. Times aren’t easy so it was most definitely a waste of money. What hotels don’t understand is that it isn’t all about money, you have to care about your customers too. That’s what really keeps a business. Care , appreciation on top of diligence. Also, don’t order through Expedia because if something were to happen then you really wouldn’t have any help. Hopefully things get better here. Especially with their policies and service.

If I could give a negative rating, I would, because it was such a horrible experience from the time we arrived to when we checked out. Upon arrival, we had to wait almost 20mins until someone attended to us. While we were waiting, we noticed they had a paper sign stating that there was a $50 cash deposit, which wasnt stated when we booked online. We then woke up to a water leak from the light fixture above the reading nook. When we called the front desk to make them aware of the situation, they never answered, and thats because we called 3 times. After walking to the front desk to let them know about the leak, surprisingly they were able to relocate us to another room. The night before checking out, our room key somehow got deactivated, and when I went to ask them to reprogram the key, the lady was extremely rude about it. When we checked out, they told us that they couldnt refund us our cash deposit due to makeup stains on one of the towels and bedsheets. The guy actually said, because of that stain, we wont be able to use this sheet for the next guest. My family and I were absolutely dumbfounded at the fact that they just basically admitted to not washing their sheets, which is extremely disgusting.We do not recommend this location to anyone!Dont waste your time or money!

It was terrible. This hotel was the only one with availability and I know why. It was over priced. They didn’t have any towels to give us, we couldn’t get any fresh towels the entire stay so we bought some. The door was broke and I had to bang on the door to get help because they lock themselves in the lobby. The day of check out a guy called and asked if we were staying, 10 minutes later the guy came up yelling at me and was mad because I wouldn’t open the door all the way, I was naked. Neverrrrrr again I’d rather sleep under a bridge.

Nothing about my stay was good what you book online is totally different when arrive its not hotel its a motel where any and everything goes down the family that runs the motel. Its very unprofessional I complained about my room upon arrival I was told I would be switched that never happened you only get a roll of tissue a day keep, in mind I booked for 5days because I waiting for my apartment to get ready that explains why he looked at me the way he did which I said why I was there for 5days yes!! Thats some money they got from me you have to request for cleaning which not a problem but does not happen until next business day it has a odor in the room the and the microwave is outdated the lighting is horrible its a mess! Never AGAIN!! RUN REALLY FAST FROM OYO HOTEL/MOTEL in Mesquite texas the one time i didnt read the reviews thats on me....the ratings for this hot mess is zero stars....!!!!!

Horrible experience. Very Janky business. There is mold in the rooms. Residue on shower curtains. The rooms smell is bad. You have to put a deposit down in order to stay here. The people who work here are very rude. You cannot ask for anything. The appliances are out dated to the max! Do not stay here unless you have absolutely no choice you’ll regret it!

Very trashy place & the staff didnt even know I was staying for 2 nights & tried to kick me out of my room after the 1st night 🤦‍♂️. The exercise room was off limits but couldnt tell me why🤦‍♂️. The key card readers to the outside entrance doesnt work so you have to walk around the entire building to get back in. They rigged the tv so you cant raise the volume past level 25. They make pay a $50 deposit in cash only so now you have to drive to an ATM just to take out money so they can turn around and give it right back to you 🤦‍♂️. Bottom line, worst hotel Ive stayed in period, this place should be torn down & the guys running it obviously have no idea how to run a clean & working hotel. Oh, I forgot about the huge spider waiting for me in the shower when I arrived. Check out the pictures below because they dont lie.

If I didnt have to give a star I wouldnt. I booked this hotel because other family members were staying there. We were spending thanksgiving with our Dallas family. Well when I arrived it looked kind of iffy. Checked in the guy told me no smoking dont stain the sheets or towels. I was like ok and went to my room and funk hit my nose. I checked the bed for bedbugs. I sprayed the bed and room down with disinfectant spray and cleaned the bathroom. The bedding was stained already and one of the beds smelled like pee. I was like oh NO I immediately started itching. I informed my family that we couldnt stay. I went downstairs and told the guy he was like he still had to charge me for one night. I was like no this isnt fair he didnt try to accommodate on anything. I didnt wanna lose my money so I went to Walmart bought new bedding towels air freshener I ended up spending an additional $140. I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemies. 😡🤢

0 stars if I could . The guys at the desk are so uncertain of what I am doing at a motel . Their cash deposit is such a scam , they will take money from your deposit for using a wash rag to wash makeup off your face. Visitors to your room , not happening, you check in as one that’s the only one that can be in the room. Anymore they are knocking asking you to leave . Check out time you got to get off the property, or police is called , but the homeless can stay hanging around begging for money and sleeping outside the exit doors. Rooms are filthy and mold is everywhere. Save the wasted money and go elsewhere , I would not trust these guys to house my camel.

Avoid this place at all costs. Horrible experience, the staff is rude, We stayed 5 days and not once did they even pretend to clean our room. I would stay literally anywhere else (including my car) to avoid having to pay for a place like this. The fridge was broken and stinky, the fire alarm was tied in a plastic bag. When we asked for towels we were told only 2 per room even though we had 3 guests registered. Everyone no matter what shift is extremely rude. I have worked in hotels for years in the past and I am not sure this qualifies as one.

The absolute WORST hotel experience we’ve ever had. I believe OYO bought out the old Microtel hotels which were ran so much better. The microwave didn’t work- it just hummed but didn’t warm anything. The refrigerator didn’t work at all. We booked the room partially because of the appliances and needing to use them during our stay. Also, they do NOT accept cards for incidentals- Only cash which is extremely off putting. Their pillows were so flat that I had to use my husband’s hoodie to prop underneath not one but TWO of their overused pillows in order to support my head and neck. Also we were given a 12:00pm checkout time upon booking but get to the hotel and the front desk told us we had to leave at 11:00am. In the haste of leaving, we forgot to get my husband’s Nike hoodie from underneath the pillow. Upon our return, they told us nothing was found so they definitely STOLE FROM US!! They are criminals!! If you care about your safety, well being, and customer service…. RUNNNNN!!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

Do not recommend. I booked online as I was stopping through for the night. Get in around 10pm and was told they overbooked and that they had to upgrade my room and I had to pay the difference. I would have left on principle but even with the upgrade it was cheaper than other options in the area. Still, not my problem to pay for their error. Also had to pay a $50 cash only deposit, which was not mentioned when I booked. Lastly, they were unable to print a receipt for my room (needed for work related travel reimbursement) because I had booked online and they “can’t see it”.

Booked a room with them online and paid for it. I showed up and my recipe was not honored. The guy didnt even bother to try to look at it. Had my agent give the hotel guy a call as well to see why the confirmation was invalid as a sat in the lobby couch across from his desk. And the guy canceled my reservation in that moment while he was on the phone due to unforeseen circumstances. Basically, my reservation was being canceled an sold again to the highest bidder as I was face to face with the guy trying to check in.

Great outdoor lighting, nice water pressure, but had to put down $50 cash deposit when you check in. Ridiculous! Then you have to ask for housekeeping services and towels are paper thin and rough! Not a good experience!

I would have been better off sleeping at a homeless shelter. Rude staff tried to kick me out because I was annoyed at his rudeness. It was midnight so I had to plead with him too let me stay even though I never raised my voice, never cursed, I simply stated it didnt make sense to have to pay a $50 cash deposit when the room was already paid for for 3 days.On yo the room. It stank. The sheets had body fluid stains of all type. I asked for fresh sheets and he said I had to wait until morning. I slept on the floor.The next morning, I reported that guy to the morning clerk, but he already formed an opinion of me from the night guy. I asked for sheets, and he said I had to wait for room service to get done with everything else. Im like, Just hand me the sheets and Ill do it myself. He said no, and kept saying if I dont like it I could leave.I was out of town for work and my employer dropped me off so I had no car, therefore I was at their mercy until I could get in contact with my employer. My employer picked me up and the clerk lied to my employer about the entire situation. If I could give this place negative stars I would.

Roaches and hot we walked in at 1030pm to no air in the room and the days are 106 degrees! We had to get naked and sleep on a sheet we brought this is old radgley bugs yuck

Service animals are not welcome. If you bring one you will be made to use the back door because youre not supposed to come through the front door you have a dog.There will be no more visits to this location by this traveler.They dont have any customer service here. When there was a problem with my booking they had no phone number for me to call other than one in India. They tried to discriminate against my service animal demanding to see a license which does not exist in the real world. If you have a pet that you have bought a service animal license for you fell for scam.

Extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable . Felt really violated at this place as a woman ! I would never ever ever in a million years book here again! When I contacted the corporate number they had it was one of them and they said who was calling their phone and hung up. When I called back and asked why did they hang up on me if that was corporate and they replied “because I can” this place is a scam. They will reserve u a room after You pay them then deny you from staying and deny your refund!!!

Nice Hotel BUT WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! WISH I COULD GIVE -5 STARS!!! I paid for a week , 7 days. It was $361 + a $50 deposit and I left the following week , because the price went over 500 due to Christmas. Cool!! I had somewhere to go but heres where im still even after 1 week mad about. Non-operable telephone in room, in the evening the front desk closed, can’t call for assistance for anything.Stained sheets, dingy grey/stained towels, mildew on shower curtain, h lobby clean but hotel and rooms smell musty and of cigarette and cannabis.Pets everywhere despite the NO PETS ALLOWED policy.

I went 2 days before Christmas cuz of the cold weather but when I arrive before getting on one of the beds it had a stain on the end of it .. and when I left they only gave me 30 back cuz apparently of the stains but I said they were already there he was like we dont give guess rings like that he was so rude ... the other day I went out was child outside that I got a ride with a friend to leave me at the hotel but he needed get his kid from school at that time that they didnt let me wait there for a bit but as they said it was rude .. waiting on the cold ? And almost handicaps since I been shot on leg before being on my feet for long time my leg gives up

Ice machine broken whole time I was there (5 days). Asked for $50 cash deposit on top of credit card. I just said no. Lots of channels on TV, more than many hotels. Room smallish (former microtel).

The service was terrible the clerk was rude and the rooms have bed bugs.. I caught the ones I seen and showed them to him and all in said was sorry and for me to come again.. I will never go back there again it is infested with bed bugs and the customer service is horrible and very rube people..

This hotel is horrible .. my boyfriend and i stayed for a week maybe a month ago and my one year old wasted juice on the sheets and they wouldn’t give us a deposit back and said it was blood .. well my boyfriend paid for a another room last tuesday for another week , we’re at work and they put his stuff out today and on top of that didn’t give him his deposit back AGAIN !!! The toilet was stopped up for 3 days no one came and unclogged it nor did they clean up , there were dead roaches in the fridge and the staff is rude and i do not recommend this hotel.

Listen to the previous reviews. Stay away from this place. Can smell the mold in the stairwell and rooms. Way out dated, beds and sofa coach worn out and bad shape. Never again.

I’ve stayed here several times through out the years and never has it been this bad not only did they charge my card twice but the room is so funky I couldn’t even breathe I had to sleep in my car when I went to front desk they never do anything to accommodate there guest there mouths are smart they disrespectful and i honestly don’t no how there still around then the people that they put me next door too was loud all night banging and hitting the walls just ridiculous all the way around and this was my worse experience so I was charged twice room was so funky and the window was cracked open wouldn’t shut so that made me uncomfortable as well I’ve felt safer in my car dam shame

Food in the room and fridge ...seems that didnt even clean it..bed sheets dirty..it was a non smoking room and had the smell..stayed bcs had an emergency..couldnt cancel bcs there was no refund ..false advertisement bcs it appears with other hotel name..had to give 1 star to give my feedback but it doesnt deserve 😔 any

This hotel is horrible we will never stay at this hotels anymore we pay for an executive room and the room didnt not have the couch TV wasnt working towels were torn its just horrible we dont know why this guys still on business.

It was food in the refrigerator the guy refused to give me my deposit back even though we told him that and because he didn’t want to clean the sheets which were dirty when we got there he has zero customer service and it was just an all-around horrible horrible experience

Very good location. Place was very clean and well managed, room service was also good, but the carpet was smelly near the AC and floor kinda wet.

Bed bugs. Then they said we can’t get a refund and to deal with it. They tried transferring us and transferred us into a dirty room.

It was horrible the service was awful they r very rude not kid friendly nothing works right there wasnt even a fridge someone else was making loud noises and they automatically blamed us cuz we had kids and our kids wasnt doing anything but on their phones

TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL.If I could give 0 I would, bad experience, bad service.We booked 3 nights at this hotel for our trip to Texas, we paid by card online, we arrived at the hotel and the EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist first informed us that there was no reservation in that name, when we showed her the reservation confirmation, she said there was none room available, when asked why it was confirmed by the hotel, she said that this reservation had already been canceled by them, BUT IT WAS NOT, the reservation is still active, there is even a note in the reservation that if you do not show up for the checking, the hotel will receive the full value.Then she offered me a room to sleep in, worth $120 per night + security deposit, in other words, how does she say she doesnt have a room for my reservation but offers me a room? This is fraud through and through, we called the police, they didnt solve anything at all, they told us to come in and pay again, obviously we didnt do that, we went to another hotel.The receptionist was still laughing in our faces.

I didnt like the fact that I had to give a cash deposit, and the room is very small, it doesnt have a refrigerator.
