Wow! I had an amazing birthday spa/beach day! Everyone was so sweet with genuine smiles! The beach service was nice. The spa amenities were really lovely. It was fun to try new things like the “storm immersion showers” and the igloo! The massage was wonderful and relaxing. I am going to unsolicited suggest this place to anyone talking about going to Miami. It’s not the nicest day spa that I’ve been to, but with a Groupon or ResortPass or something along those lines, it’s worth it!
Ive been here three times. The saunas are incredible. They have a super hot Finnish Sauna, a steamy hot steam room and then another laconium sauna. All of these produce the most amazing aromatherapy. The steam room and laconium have beautiful crystals. There are experience showers to cool off with. The spa attendants are super friendly and everything is always super clean. I love their bath product offerings in the shower, they smell divine. The beach access is another amazing perk of this spa. But the reason I will keep going back is Charlie. I had him on my third visit and he gave me one of the most amazing massages of my life. And Ive had too many to count! He focused where I asked him too and every stroke of the massage had intent and made sense. My shoulders felt so released afterwards. Theres a ton of spas in Miami to choose from, but based on the Thermal Hydrotherapy Circuit at Carrilon and Charlie, this really puts it in the running for one of the best.
Personally LOVEEEE this spa! So many things to enjoy within the spa and it’s really clean. The pool and pool bar is really nice and the food tastes great. The beach set up is nice and it’s very private. The locker area and showers are also really clean. Highly recommend this. I’ve brought my mom and my best friends and they’ve all loved it.
Unfortunately, no, this is just an insanely priced bath club. My massage was mediocre. I specifically told her that I had tension in my neck, she avoided massaging my neck at all. For a 50 minute massage, she spent maybe 5 on each leg. About 10 with the sheet still on me, just rubbing around. It was not worth $150.I also got a facial. No steam was used at all because it would dehydrate my skin. ??? What?Lots of creams and scrubs but definitely not $200 worth. The worst part about the facial is that my esthetician did not wear a mask so I was constantly holding my breath to avoid breathing hers in. Ruined my experience. The spa facility itself looks nice and is clean but I overall felt disappointed in the experience and I will never go back.
Absolutely wonderful and relaxing experience. It is open to hotel guests every day and it is a very nice experience. The spa includes hot tubs, crystal rooms, saunas, igloos, and much more. The interior was extremely similar to the Canyon Ranch Spa at the Palazzo. Many of the structures, features, and even the layout was the same, which struck me as a very pleasant surprise.I had a facial done and it was quite nice. They had a promotion running at the time and I got a very nice discount. But at the original price ($200+) I do not think it would have been worth it.
Im seriously disappointed in this spa and management. I purchased a massage ans spa day and ended up with a horrible rash that has lasted almost 3 weeks. I called to speak to someone and they assured me a manager would reach out and no one ever called me back. Dont go there unless you want a horrible disgusting rash. The pool also had a bunch of kids jumping in the pool non-stop with no one stopping them.UPDATE: after 3 calls and an email, I was finally met with a resolution. Its unfortunate I had to go through such great lengths and constant reaching out, but the manager and security team were very apologetic and sympathetic, which I appreciate. They did offer me another spa pass or refund. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service left a bad taste in my mouth for the time being. It was a great inconvenience, which ruined my anniversary, since we normally staycation at a beach. Maybe I will revisit in the future. I did have an overall great experience there, just not after. Still have no idea what caused the rash overall since I did partake in all the spa amenities and massage, except the pool.
Terrible massage. It was a 50 Swedish. They did 35 min and a feather soft pressure. Spa is extremely dated and tired looking. Not world class like it is advertised.
Purchased a Groupon day pass and I have to say it was the best decision I made for my vacation...The Carillon is my new favorite place in the world and I cant wait to return! The entire staff was so attentive and friendly-special thank you to Barbara in the locker room and Gabriella the masseuse! The ambiance was picturesque and inviting. The beach and pool were just divine! I can keep going but dont hesitate, Just book!!!
I loved the nice, clean, and spacious rooms with condo set-up. We really enjoyed having a kitchen in our suite. The complimentary wine was a nice touch! The beach was easily accessible and clean. It was a little small and they charged for rentals. Service was also slow on the beach but everyone was so kind and helpful. We loved the spa services and exercise classes! W would definitely return!
The most amenities at a spa I’ve ever seen! The employees were very attentive. We loved our treatments. My husband said they actually applied enough pressure to his massage and my facial with Ana was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back!
Wonderful, luxurious spa. Great treatment- I did the orange ginger body treatment which was part body scrub, part crazy shower light show, part light lotion massage and part scalp massage. Free valet parking. Complimentary access to adults only pool with awesome beach views and a stone jacuzzi. The thermal suites were lovely too! Multiple colored and aromatherapy showers, hot tub, lounge area, multiple saunas of various temperatures. Foot tub. Coffee and tea station. Offered champagne! Thank you!
The Place was a nightmares to say the least i bought a groupon and i had to pay extra not including the tip. The room of my service had no light i had to get dressed with the lady opening the door to get LIGHT from the hall. i was at a loss for words. then my things were taken from the relaxation room, lost my credit card and some person said it was moved by a staff member when all i did was go to the bathroom for like 2 minutes. I complained to the front desk assnt manager called the manager all they said was SORRY, NO PAPEROWRK FOR THELOSS. Do not know how all these good reviews got here!!!!
Came here for the day on a ResortPass and was very underwhelmed by the facilities. Multiple things werent working, the beds for relaxing were all always taken and that room was very cold. Space needs a refresh for sure. I did have a great facial and my aesthetician was wonderful. Come here for the services but not worth it to stay for the day.
Oh my goodness, I went for a day spa and got the most relaxing massage of my life, my masseuse was Marshall, he was extremely professional, cordial, kind, sweet and all of the above lol, hes hands are the softest hands Ive ever felt, like a babys face, I was so surprised cause I had lots of masseuses women or men and no one never has had that soft and caressing touch, I was left so relaxed all day and was able to enjoy all of the ammonites at the hotel, when I tell you every single employee was, cordious, kind, caring, thankful, happy, working, not gossiping or using cell phones, omg I just could not believe I received all that through a deal from Groupon, thank you Yvania for the tour and taking me wherever next I needed to go lol, I left a tip for you and will call soon to find out if you got it cause girl, you are a lady and a very nice one, thank you to all the pool attendants, waiters, Jacuzzi and showers attendants you are All such a great team! You guys are an Elite excellent team, I hope your managers and supervisors treat you as you deserve, I truly hope so, thank you for the cashiers too, beautiful smiles and great and respectful treatment, thank you I really needed that time and you guys made it just perfect 🙏🏾🥰
Nice spa but horrible massage. The room was cold and not inviting. The therapist did not accommodate me in any sense. Worst massage I’ve ever gotten. The spa on the other hand has many things to enjoy such as the shower, sauna, stem room. Pool area and beach were also very nice. Really wish I had a nice massage since it was my birthday.
Amazing spa! So many experiences to choose from: saunas, steam room, igloo, jacuzzi, cold sprays with sound effects areas, lounge areas, and the massage was great too... The pool area outside is so relaxing, and food/drinks by pool area were delicious. Great attention to detail! Love going every year!
Not a luxury spa. While the staff were all great and attentive, the spa itself doesnt feel like spa and needs MAJOR updates. The minute we entered, someone was coming at us with a barrel of trash, we heard loud chatter, and there was a lot going on with people having to go to a staff member to get slippers and robes. Ive been to many luxury spas and regular spas and this experience was far from luxurious. I felt anxious from the start. The hydrotherapy circuit isnt worth the price. Its essentially a tiny pool and then different temperature showers, steam rooms, and saunas.I found it odd that we had to go to a staff member for snacks and beverages when those amenities are usually left out in the waiting/relaxation area for customers to grab at their leisure. Also, there were wayyyy too many people inside for the small size - this contributed to a hectic atmosphere. We enjoyed our massages but dont think the price tag (upwards of $600 for 2 massages) reflects what you get.
I do love this spa because I love the amenities and all the different rooms they offer ...but my only complaint is that the noise level can be so loud and chatty sometimes when theres larger groups of women together and its hard to be at peace when you can hear the in jacuzzi from the sauna...its like a bit much . Its hard to relax. I mean thats not the spas fault or the staffs responsibility I just wish people would be a little more considerate of the people around them. Also I do wish the water in the igloo was colder... I feel like theyre holding back and it can definitely be cooler. Just a thought. Besides that the customer service is bar none the best and the views are amazing. Also 5 stars in cleanliness!
The two stars is for the hardware and infrastructure of the resort. The massage and services is where they fail. I paid over 200 US$ for a lady to caress me with oil despite telling her three times to add more pressure. The masseuses are not well trained and seems to be lacking real licensed massage therapy skills. The beach set up is nice. There are two pools you can use and the hydrotherapy is decent, but the spa services are deeply lacking. Also, in other hotel spas, they have a little timer that they start at the beginning of your treatment and then the alarm goes off exactly at 60 minutes, however, here at Carillon the clothing changing time seems to be count included in the 60 minutes. Feels like they ripped you off. I do not recommend.
The spa is so packed, it feels like a mall. There was nowhere to sit, no where to go. The sauna was packed, the steam room was full, the jacuzzi was broken, the benches and relaxation area was full, there was no snacks, just water. The place was so loud and hectic- complete chaos. The igloo was room temperature and the locker room was like a high school locker. The showers were all full. The pool food was terrible and it was so expensive. The towels were so thin and so cheap, they hurt the skin to use. Nothing is high quality. The best part was the massage with Rosie. That was magical, she is incredible. Otherwise, a total mess.
The value of the spa is extremely overpriced. We arrived a few minutes late to our appointment since Miami has so much traffic now and we lost every minute we were late. The massage was ok but felt rushed. The spa amenities were run down, I didn’t use a lot of them because they didn’t look clean. Felt like I gave them a bunch of money for a mediocre sauna and quick massage. Conclusion: overpriced.
A luxury spa this is not. The bathroom at massage area was much worse than my doctors office, the steam room had mold all around the fan behind the screen; there seemed to be mold growing above the jacuzzi as well. The treatment waiting room is cold and the rooms themselves have no windows, feel a bit like a janitors closet. Everything is dated, tons of knicks everywhere, cheap amenities. To me, a luxurious award-winning (really???) hotel spa should be luxurious - brand name soaps, tea, snacks, cold wash cloths, nice seats, soothing environment. This felt more like a gym locker room from about 15 years ago. The treatments were mediocre, but totally fine. The staff was very nice, but just didnt make up for the overall underwhelming (and in some cases grossed out) experience.
What an amazing spa experience! The hydrotherapy suite has a lot to choose from; jacuzzi, sauna, foot spa, steam room, and more. The shower was amazing and the shower gel smells so good, I wish they sold it! I also had a Himalayan salt stone massage with Mukesh, who is excellent! Very relaxing experience!
Stayed in one of the AirBNB units for spring break and absolutely loved it. The apartment is more geared toward a couple than family. The wall that separates the living space has a screen that allows light and sound interruption. Would be nice to have a lock on bathroom door too. But other than that, it is a very comfortable, and beautiful, space to call home for a week.
It would be great if someone actually answered the phone. I’ve called atleast 50 times and ZERO times has anyone ever answered the phone. You would think for the amount of money it cost you could get an actual person on the phone…
Listen up! This was my first spa day experience and I can’t stop telling my friends about this place. I did not want to leave. Everything was absolutely perfect. My massage therapist Margarita was sent from god. Samuel and Miguel, the two attendants in the men locker room helped to make my experience exceptional. Definitely recommend
Keep your eye on your valuables! After having a massage with Lora, my mothers diamond necklace disappeared from the jewelry tray. We realized the she left the necklace in the massage room after we left, but after calling the spa, they told me it was never found. 5 star spa not so much.
Compared to luxury spas. The spa is clean and nice but way over priced. My review is regarding Value….if you choose to Value then let’s dissect the issue. They change rules every couple months. For example you can not use the “adults only” pool upstairs, as this is “Off”limits to anyone outside the hotel. Which is crazy considering we are coming into pay $750 for a couple hours of relaxation. So I guess their idea is to relax and go downstairs and pay $30 -$45 a drink poolside next to a group of screaming kids. Soooo relaxing…They said it’s for guest and residents. How does this make sense? We are basically paying the same thing. and instead after a relaxing message you get to spend time next to a lot of screaming children. Exactly how does this make sense? They should probably consider the fact local residents are people who enjoy a staycation and if you have a bad experience at the spa why would you stay in the hotel. I recommend a couple places that you can get a great message still be treated like your good enough. Edition, fountainbleau, and my review is not to hurt them but to help them. You should get what you pay for and I spent $1200 that day with me and two other guest and we got the same thing (less the spa treatment) that I could find at any place on the beach. Nothing special is happening. Even the Ritz has full amenities access.
Pretty nice spa experience. Went there for our Valentines weekend and did the Turkish Rassoul which was a very unique experience that you can do with your partner. Make sure to arrive an hour or so earlier so that you can enjoy the hydrotherapy circuit, which are various different treatments like crystal steam room, Finnish sauna, whirlpool, etc...all included in the treatment that you pay for. Unfortunately, the herbal room was under maintenance within the mens spa but hopefully they will fix it soon.
The customer service was terrific. However, the spa amenities were run down. There was black mold over the hot tube near the skylight, so I didn’t stay I couldn’t enjoy the facility.
My sister and I spent a weekend here to relax and indulge in some self-care. The staff was so kind and accommodating, no judgmental attitudes here. We both enjoyed awesome facials and messages, as well as, some new age style treatments. Such a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere we will definatley be back.
Loved the herbal sauna, steam room, and laying on their ZENERGY mat. Beautiful and clean.
Spa services are the best!!! I will visit again, I absolutely enjoyed the sauna, steam room and massage services today...Valet parking, beach access is also very convenient.🤗
So I took the advice from other reviewers and called to ask if Helen was there, quick convo with Helen to make sure I can bring my own lashes and she put them on...she confirmed and i showed up 1 hr later, shop was clean and welcoming. Helen was sweet, quick and did a great job. I will be back. Thanks, Helen.
Horrible experience, keep anEye on your belongings. My locker was broken into by staff members. This use to be a 5 star it’s now 0!! Travel light and leave your valuables in your room or car might be safer there than the lockers they provide with the staff that’s plotting how to steal from you while you relax.
Came here with my wife and had an issue with my massage and asked to speak to the spa director who refused and sent out a much younger lady. This isn’t the 1st time I’ve seen this lady act rude to guest like she’s above everyone and doesn’t need to speak to guest.
Service it’s not up to par with their pricing this is not a luxury spa . Staff needs to be better trained . Massages are average at best . Don’t bring any jewelry to this place .
I have the best experience and birthday treatment at the Spa at Carillon Miami the staff is very friendly and helpful my deep tissue massage was 1hr long and then after that o got another 1hr using the showers the jacuzzi for the feet’s the jacuzzi for the entire body the sauna and then the hydro cold shower and to end when you take your last shower the got everything you needed since razor body lotion deodorant hairspray moose brush hair dryer q tips and mouthwash excellent service I will highly recommend 100%
Masseuses are great. Facility is ok.
This was my first time here and I would certainly come again and again. Everything was spectacular.
Best massage so far, the spa is so awesome and the pool is relaxing
My service was ok over priced for sure. Obviously the entire place needs a renovation. Moldy wet areas need a good cleaning
I had positive experiences at this spa. I had two massages by Faviana and was very pleased.
Natalie was great best facial ever!! She also helped me with my anxiety
Definitely enjoyed out spa day. The staff was very friendly and the spa was so beautiful.
The Himalayan stone massage is a unique experience. highly recommend trying it.
Please pick up the phone impossible to book at the spa over the phone today.
Unprofessional, careless staff. Services are meh compared to other spas in Miami and the rest of South Florida. Won’t be back.
Was a great experience in the spa...the massage was amazing...Im so happy with fue service... Thanks 🤗🤗🤗👌🏻
I ONLY GO FOR THE SPA. LOVE IT AND I WILL CONTINUE GOING THERE.
This place is ran like a zoo, With a clueless spa director who can’t even handle complaints properly. Me and my wife won’t be back.
CARILLON HAS THE GREATEST SPA IN THE WORLD. I RANK IT AS A FIVE STAR 🌟...

Abuse left me waiting for a long time. They tricked me about a job interview for a masseuse and it was a lie. They made me go for pleasure. They treated me very badly. A terrible service. Mrs. Maritza treated me and she only knew how to tell me that there was a misunderstanding after having had me. 1 hour sitting and having applied online and having confirmed my appointment I do not recommend this spa at all unprofessional mistreatment of the costumer service poor cleaning horrible bad treatment I do not recommend the spa do not waste your money!!!!Abuse left me waiting for a long time, they deceived me about a job interview for a masseuse and it was a lie, they made me go for pleasure, they treated me very badly, a terrible service, Mrs. Maritza attended me and she only knew how to tell me that there was a misunderstanding after having had me 1 hour sitting and applying online and confirming my appointment I do not recommend this spa at all unprofessional mistreatment of the costumer service poor cleaning horrible bad treatment I do not recommend the spa do dont waste your money
