Life ruining haircut! I had beautiful thick hair that took two years to grow out, and I left the salon with a third of the hair I walked in with. Jaime over texturized my curly hair and now I’m left with a poofy frizzy mess!! I showed him an inspo picture and he proceeded to do whatever he wanted, with the end result looking nothing like the picture. I told him my hair is curly. Initially I was happy with the haircut because it looked different and I managed to retain some of my length, despite him cutting off more than I asked for - plus the hair is already gone - however the next day when I went to style my hair as usual in a half pony I realized I barely have hair on the bottom half. I had nice thick ends that are now so stringy. I have strands of hair at the bottom that are two inches long. I left a voice mail sobbing and didn’t receive a call back. Two days later I called again and spoke to Lucy the owner. Although she seemed sympathetic, she refused to return my money and offered a treatment with the stylist I originally intended on seeing, which is better than nothing but no! In an industry based on making people feel good about themselves, the least you can do is return the person’s money whose confidence was shattered because of someone at your establishment. Attached are my inspo picture and what my hair looks like now. I had a really nice curl pattern that is now ruined. My hair was similar in length and thickness as the inspo picture. I styled my hair curly for the first time since the haircut a little over a month ago - I’ve been wearing it in a bun - and it’s just a ball of frizz that I cannot believe is my hair. This haircut completely killed my confidence that I was finally gaining back after having my baby two years ago. I suffer from gastritis nervosa and this situation triggered an episode that lasted two and a half weeks, ruined my birthday vacation! The girl with the red hair gave me the most mediocre shampoo I’ve ever had. The service I received from the shampoo girl to the stylist to the owner is far from “royal treatment”.

One of the worst haircuts Ive gotten in my life. I decided to go to this place after reading a few reviews saying it was a hidden gem for natural curly hair. I called and asked if they were able to do specifically a curly cut starting on dry curly hair, I let them know that I had had poor experiences in the past with people who did not do curly cuts but rather just cut the hair like you would straight hair. They made it sound like they had someone who could do it and i felt like i was in good hands.When I got there the stylist told me to sit to wash my hair and i had to basically explain what a curly cut is. She said sure sure and had me sit on the chair and proceeded to comb out my curls and cut my hair how you would wet straight hair. I was asked multiple times if i wanted to blow dry my hair since it was “complimentary in the price” to which i declined as the whole purpose of me booking this appointment was to wear my natural hair. The cut was done and they left me a frizzy fluffy mess.In case anyone there reads this and would like to know what a curly cut is. You cut the hair dry, curls in tact. Then you wash, style and diffuser the hair with the new shape of the freshly cut curls.I wish I would have been told this is not a service you provide when I specifically asked.I love my hair and im so upset that I went there. I will be picking it up for the foreseeable future which breaks my heart. I should have walked out the second i realized they didn’t know what they were doing but the lady was kind and i felt bad. I’ve learned my lesson.I paid $85 for a lousy haircut, no styling no drying and no proper technique for what I requested. Now I have choppy, uneven, unflattering hair. Beyond upset.If you’re looking for a curly cut this is definitely not the place.

Luz at the Kendall location was absolutely incredible! She was very knowledgeable when it came to color and did a fabulous job on my highlights and cut. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone looking to freshen up their look! I’m so happy with these results!

A friend of mine recommended that I get my hair cut by Jake and I’m so glad I listened! Not only did he do an amazing job, he’s so sweet and communicative. I was dealing with a bad haircut from another salon and googled “best Bob haircut near me” andPeter of London came up. I walked in and was so lucky to have Jake fit me in as he had a last minute cancellation. As he was cutting my hair he explained everything that he was doing so that I could be at ease. I am very pleased with the end result, you are amazing Jake, thank you again!Also, the salon and vibe were great.

This salon is by far the best hair salon I’ve been to in all my years!! All of them attended to my every need. I got a balayage that was better than the photos I used for reference, haircut and a Botox treatment. They are so hospitable and very kind. I highly recommend this salon, anything you need, they can do!

I had a great experience at Peter of London! My hair was an embarrassing mess going in...but I walked out with gorgeous hair! Stephanie patiently listened as I explained what I was wanting. SHE DELIVERED! Her genuine caring attitude was warm and professional. Attached is a picture of what I wanted, what my gross hair looked like, and my awesome end result. The only differences were two things specifically asked for and she nailed! I will definitely be going back

Went as a walk-in hoping for the best but not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised, got a fantastic cut, was treated great and made an appointment for my next visit before I left. I saw Luz who has many years of experience, a great hand and will give you honest feedback if youre unsure of what you want. Couldnt be happier!

This was my first time here and I am very particular with my hair but Bev killed it! My hair looks amazing and the hair cut is perfect! She made me feel so comfortable and told me everything she was going to do before she did it. She is also very knowledgeable about hair and gave me quite a few pointers that I will definitely try! I already made another appointment with her for highlights:)

I feel very happy to have Luz as my hairstylist. Finally I found someone who has the knowledge of understanding what I wanted. I recommend her very strong because she ‘s very unique.

I have been trying to get my awful grown out roots fixed for a while but I didnt know where to go. I decided to call Peter of London and give them a try. I called and I was instantly greeted by a very nice receptionist who asked me what I needed to get done and I explained that my hair was a mess, I needed a hair color, highlights, haircut and blow dry. I told the receptionist I wanted the best hair stylist in the salon and she recommended Frances.I made a 10:30 a.m. appointment for the following day and Frances was waiting for me. She gave a great consultation, went into all the details, asked lots of questions, Frances was so sweet and professional; meeting her was the best thing that ever happened to my hair. She is very talented, efficient, super sweet, and a pleasure to be around.Frances applied a beautiful hair color and did beautiful highlight and a modern haircut. Also, Frances gives great scalp massages when washing your hair. This makes for a very relaxing spa-like feeling.....I walked out of Peter of London very happy and feeling like a Queen.Frances called me 5 days later to make sure I was happy with her services and I returned to get my hair washed and blow dried.

I went in with Jake many times. The first time I was a little nervous as it was my first time going with a new person after 3 years. I have curly hair and I was scared that they weren’t gonna cut my hair the right way. As soon as I sat down in his chair Jake made me feel very welcomed. They did and continue to do an amazing job on my hair. I have done a full balayage with my naturally dark brown hair that I had dyed with boxed black dye 2 years prior. They did an excellent job on taking care of my hair it was just as I showed them in the picture. Jake does a very good job at giving their clients exactly what they as for.

First time in Peter of London and what an amazing experience!!! Thank you to Jaime who did an amazing job with my haircut, I couldn’t be any happier. My mom saw my hair and now she wants him to cut her hair too so we will definitely be back soon. I will be coming here again and asking for Jaime, extremely pleased. I got yesterday afternoon before 7pm just to wash my hair. The lady washed my hair so quickly and it was only shampoo and conditioner and that was it. At the end they just put me a detangled spray and they charged me $35 and the receptionist asked for the tip. Today Sunday in the morning my hair didn’t have any good smell. I am very disappointed because they cost was extremely expensive just for a wash and unfortunately my hair today didn’t look like other salon.Management of Peter of London Salon, you should evaluate the cost of this service.

Great stylists, very knowledgeable. Attention to detail is great, as soon as you walk in you are greeted and asked if you want anything to drink coffee or water. Then you are taken to your stylist of choice and they ask you for what you want and they make sure they understand and say it back to you before they start cutting. You also have your hair washed and styled. Great experience, i love my stylist jake!

I have finally found my salon, after years of searching. I go to the same stylist, Adam, every time I go. Reception is always friendly and they offer me coffee or water while I wait. My hair is curly, so its not easy to cut and style. I am always satisfied with my hair, no matter how I request it to be styled. Definitely recommend this place!

Brian did an AMAZING job on my hair! I am new to the area and am always hesitant to see a new stylist but he did a perfect job! He was very focused and you can clearly tell he loves what he does. I left feeling like a million bucks. Will definitely be coming back!And Taha did a great job threading my eyebrows. I had not done threading before and she talked me through it and was very gentle.Thanks for the great service!

The service here is amazing! The stylists really go above and beyond and make you feel soo welcomed and comfortable. I came to get my hair dyed pink and I had an example of what I was going for (which was a balayage) and my hair stylist, Devin really pulled through. She got it to look just like I wanted it. I love it and it’s been 2 weeks and the color is still the same from when I first dyed it. Devin gave me a lot of good tips on how to maintain the color, she was very helpful overall throughout my experience and I had a lot of fun throughout the hair dying process. Totally coming back once again to either retouch or do my whole head pink!

I have been to this salon twice and will continue to come back. Some time ago, I had my hair cut with Stephanie, who was excellent. More recently, I had my hair cut with Dana. I didnt go in with a specific plan on how I wanted my hair cut and she showed me some cuts in a magazine and pointed at one that she thought would be perfect for my hair type. I absolutely love the cut that she did, as she was very professional and diligent to make sure the cut was well done. I have been receiving so many compliments! Thank you!

This review is only based on Jake. My only experience with the salon. OMG, I’ve been living here for 3 years and I finally found my hair salon soulmate. I would like to keep him a secret so it’s not so hard to book appts in the future but I feel like everyone needs a Jake in their life. He is now the only person that cuts my hair and my children.

I love Jake. He slays my hair every single time I come for color, highlights, and a cut. The price is well worth the money if youre looking for a person who knows what there doing and a highly trained professional. Also, the salon has an upscale feel as they offer water, coffee, and wine while youre getting pampered.

Awesome, Awesome, AWESOME!!!I do my highlights and hair cut with Jessica. She is amazing! I have very curly hair and have struggled to find someone that knows how to cut and color my curls. For years I have endured bad hair styles, cuts and colors... as well as having beauticians insist on making me blond! Id tell them: I want low lights in red and highlights in caramel. Apparently, they misunderstood me every time! One time I ended up with orange hair! Another time they did my highlights too thin and platinum blond - it looked as if I had grey hairs! So thankful I found Jessica. I actually live in Texas and come to Miami to visit my family every 6weeks... and of course to visit Jessica at Peter of London!

As always had an amazing experience! Always friendly staff and Heduardo did an amazing job with my cut/style! Going to my dinner looking and feeling amazing! If you need a good stylist and an amazing experience I highly recommend any of the amazing stylist at Peter of London!

Highly recommend this place. Been coming to Peter of London for over 6 years my hairstylist is Stephanie (best stylist ever), she knows what I like and leaves me looking phenomenal. Hands down come and get your hair done with her you will not regret it.

Ive been going here since I was born! My two other sisters and my mom come to Peter of London as well, and our family members are always asking where our hair was done. When you walk into the salon, you just get a sense of relaxation. Never have I EVER gotten a bad haircut, and if you were to have a bad haircut, they allow you to come back so they can fix it for you!!! They have a coffe machine there with tea as well. I recommend 10/10!!!! Its amazing!

I been having my hair done by Jake for the last two years and he is the best. He understand how I want my hair cuts to be and the color and highlights are always perfect. I am very please and highly recommend Peter of London and Jake.

Several friends told me to check out Peter of London. When I came here, Jake was my stylist. Before he proceeds with anything, he takes time to listen to what you want. He also provides feedback and recommendations. He is is the best, since then, I only trust Jake to work on my hair. I used to never be picky about getting a haircut, but once you find an amazing stylist, it makes all the difference.

This review is well over due. I come here to get my eyebrows done every month by Nahid and shes phenomenal. The customer service is always top notch and pleasant. Lucy is usually the one I deal with and she always makes sure my appointment is set and safe. There have been a few times when there was a complication and lucy went well out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

WORST HAIR SALON EVER!! Do not waste your time and come to this hair salon!! Horrible customer service! The receptionist with curly hair and chunky is a huge liar!!!!!! I told her I was going to be a few minutes late to my appointment and she said no worries it’s okay that they close at 8:30pm. When I get there she says the stylist left and that she never spoke to me! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT OFF THE BAT! Don’t waste your money or times There’s a reason why they have such a low rating and they’re located in a horrible plaza don’t waste your time

Last Christmas I picked up a couple of certificates to give my wife and sister in law the royal treatment from this salon. I chose it because I was told they are the best and because it is near my home. I will be honest, I usually have to remind myself to pay close attention to my wifes hair and say something nice when she returns from the salon, but this time it was easy. She was not only happy with the service, but she looked incredible. This is now one new way for me to keep her happy and beautiful all year long. Thanks Christian! See you again soon!

The place is nice & the people are too but as a Black woman with natural hair I wanted a deep condition, ends clipped, and straightening. I paid $120 & within a couple of hours of leaving my hair suffered from puffiness and fuzziness. Ive been to mom & pops hair salons that charged $30 & gave me better results. But I called the manager & they gave me the perfect person for my hair. She stayed late just to make sure I was in time for my road trip. The hair looked good until the night but at least the roots stated straight... Black ladies with natural hair please dont waist your monies.

Clean, friendly place. I was able to get an appointment for the same day. I knew the type of haircut I wanted so I took pictures to show the stylist. She delivered exactly what I had asked for. I would highly recommend it as a salon.

The BEST hair salon i’ve ever been to in my life in kendall. After reading the great reviews online, I went to go do my hair for the first time HERE because my hair was getting too orangey/brassy from the previous highlights that i have done at another salon AND it just felt so dry. My hair stylist was a male dresser, spoke spanish (Jaime) was his name, he is Colombian. Very funny guy! Very entertaining, And knows what hes doing. Hes been doing hair for 32 years now, and really has alot of experience with blonde hair. If you are looking to go lighter and fix your hair, i highly suggest making an APT with him, you will not regret it! Everyone complemented my hair at work after he did highlights /Alot of toning/ cutting/ styled it. Yes, peter of london is Very pricey, but would you rather pay alittle and have bad hair later, or pay more now, and end up with gorgeous hair that’ll long laster! 5 stars. I love my new hair!! When you go to Peter of London Kendall ask for the one and only Xiomara. She has brought my hair back from breaking and falling apart after years of damaging treatments to a luxurious healthy glow. The coloring treatment she has done enhances my hair and overall look, making me feel like a better version of me. Afterwards, her blow drying technique is such that I dont feel her pull on my hair and it leaves it looking full of bounce. Finally, it is always a pleasure to sit in her chair. She is genuine and you can tell this is her passion.

Worst experience ever!! Highlights and color with Macielle who was highly recommended. Told her specifically what I wanted & showed her a picture. She didnt do what I wanted & said it was too late to correct (6:00 p.m). I needed it for an event the following day. I called the following day& she couldnt correct bc was all booked all week. $250 later!!

Loved this place. Lisamarie is the best. After my haircut I dragged my fiance in there and she cut his hair and beard too. Its over a week later now and we both still look fantastic.

Unprofessional. Fried my hair to white by leaving me under the heat too long with bleach on my head. My hair was falling out and I had to cut it after I had already cut it. To top it off they made me pay for the hack job as well as the fix they had to do to repair it. Way too overpriced to have people who don’t know what they’re doing employed there!

Really bad haircut by Ruth. I gave it 4 weeks to grow out. I look like a mushroom. $40 and the cashier literally said your tip is going on the Visa or in cash? Thats supposed to come out of my own free will if I deem appropriate. Im very dissatisfied with my haircut 4 weeks later and the whole 4 weeks leading up to now.

After months of searching I finally found Dana at Peter of London. She did an exceptional job, gave me her honest opinion and I left feeling gorgeous. The front desk staff was kind and professional. Definetly reccomend.

I paid 30$ for the worst childs haircut Ive ever seen. Looks like a weed wacker was taken to his head. I dont even know how the girl could allow someone out of the chair like that. I had to make him wear a hat every day until I could get it fixed. It was so uneven I couldnt even style it. Some pieces were a half an inch and others 4 inches. I dont even understand. Ill definitely never be going back there.

Place closes at 9pm- arrived at 8:30pm and staff said they were closed. When I mentioned I knew they close at 9pm the staff answered we closed early as three employees were sitting down doing nothing.
