Fluid Milwaukee

I was excited to try this place, but unfortunately, the service was terrible. My boyfriend, friend, and I went for the first time and the bartender asked for IDs (normal and acceptable) but when I gave him mine he asked me where I was from, my exact address, to spell my first and last name, and even then when I answered all his questions corrected, he said “close enough” and still hesitated to serve me. I am over 24. He was incredibly rude about the whole thing. I understand that checking IDs is mandatory and I am more than happy to provide mine when asked, but the way he went about it was just rude. He did not question my boyfriend or friend at all but decided to react a certain way with mine. Maybe they just don’t get a younger crowd but this was not a great impression.

The best bar for drinks during happy hour or nights out with friends. The atmosphere is like no other with great bartenders. Also has an amazing outdoor patio. Nice mixed crowd.

The atmosphere was giving me bougie moulin rougie. It felt so comfy and chic inside for a chaotic queer like me. The Halloween decor was absolutely on point. I could lounge here for hours.The vibe was stellar, but it was the bartender, Chris, who made us feel so at home. We met him for the first time that night, but it felt like we had known him for our whole lives.I immediately knew that I had to post a review, but I waited to get the bill to see if it was all worth the money. Let me tell yall, I was ASTOUNDED to see how little we owed at the end of the night. The drinks were delish, and it didnt break the bank!Will absolutely be coming back to feel at home here again.

A friend of mine took me to this bar. Its a gay bar, I guess. Im not gay, but the atmosphere was nice and friendly. I played dice at the bar. The drinks were good. I will probably go back again. It was pretty laid back, and being a straight guy there, I didnt feel any pressure to do anything other than enjoy my drinks, and just talk to the other patrons.

I came in tonight, sat at the bar while I watched the bartender talk and help other customers while I was ignored. He actually looked me in the eyes while I had cash in my hand and then turned away and helped other customers. When he finally got to me, I asked for a Long Island. He proceeded to help the people next to me, poured and served their drinks. I’m still waiting patiently. I finally said to him, if I’m going to be ignored, I’ll go somewhere else. His response was, “I don’t know how to make a Long Island.” My response was, “you should have said something because I could have walked you through it.” I have been a bartender/server for over 20 years now and understand if you are busy and don’t know how to make a drink, I have been in that position many times. But at least say something so your customer isn’t sitting there waiting while everyone else is being taken care of. I love Fluid and want to come back, but am a bit apprehensive now. Perhaps the bartender needs more training, especially with customer service. When I don’t know how to make a drink, I ask the customer or look it up on my phone. I would never just not make a drink for someone just because I don’t know how. I actually learned how to make a Long Island after a customer walked me through it because I did not know how and they loved it. Please have trained bartenders behind the bar or at least teach them customer service skills.

Could I give this place six stars? Fluid is one of Milwaukees most storied gay bars. But, its truly a place for everyone. Bill and his partner have done a tremendous job creating a bar with an atmosphere thats truly non-judgemental and welcoming. The drinks are strong, and the service always make you feel like youre having a drink at a friends house. And drama is never tolerated. On the few occasions where some patrons made me feel uncomfortable, they were always escorted out. If youre looking for a chill place to hang at in Walkers point, Fluid is always a good choice.

I am always treated respectfully when I go to this establishment. Typically, the place Ill go to when I just want a quiet discreet drink by myself after a long day at the office, and they make you comfortable doing that. The bartenders (especially Ryan and Christopher) are always cordial, and the owner is kind. I dont like a lot of attention from people, and the patrons here are respectful and mind their business. It is also very CLEAN (and Im a germophobe) and thats abundantly important in food/beverage.

Visiting from out of town, this place is beautiful inside, bartender was super friendly and he did not miss a beat! Music was great! Super clean and air conditioning felt so good on a hot night! We’ll visit again

Super gay. Everyone tasted good. Its been 3 weeks and I still piss smoothly with no burns. Highly recommend. Super cute guys here 😜

We always seem to end up here at the end of our day drinking bar hoping. It’s got a great vibe from the atmosphere, music and people.

My friends and I love the outdoor seating especially when it’s chillier outside. Staff have always been good to us and drinks are tasty and well priced!

Good drinks that are full of alcohol and not expensive, they show popular gay themed shows sometimes like Dragrace. Kind nice people frequent...outdoor patio with heated area for chilly nights.

Loved the patio my friends and i had we’re buying drink after drink and asked the bartender for a song and he was very rude and told us that he wouldn’t change the songs you could see the computer he used to change it and was just being rude and when we did not want the drink he poured he made us pay for it
