Harbor Room

I went to the bar last September 2023 after my son had passed away. I had been up for almost 72 hours straight as I was staying by my sons bedside during his hospice and when he finally passed. I needed to put on a good buzz. They had no problem giving me strong drinks and as I always do, I give great tips. They were fine with that, until I fell asleep on their patio. The place was not busy at that time. I apologized to the owner and tried to explain what my situation was but he didnt care and told me to get out and not to come back again..... like I said; he had no problem taking my money...and he was the one who was extremely rude. As I was walking out the door he continued to yell and berate me and threaten me. Again...I was in a bad place at that time and he wouldnt even give me a chance to explain....especially since I was not bothering anyone. The female bartender was great.... the owner lacked any sense of class. Its to bad the owner had to be like that because the patrons as well as the female bartender at that time were very friendly.Just sayin 😔

Don’t come here unless u wanna be ignored they posted an event here and the bartender is the crypt keeper and will not acknowledge u. Save your money !

Been going to Harbor Room for years. Thanks for hair color I dont look it haha. Never had a issue with the bar or the bartenders, they have been great. I have know the owner for years. The patio is a great place if you want to soak up some sunshine, it will be better if summer gets here. The drinks are made well and the beer is perfect in the frosty mugs.

This place has seen some fantastic changes in the last few months. New staff to enhance an already great staff, new nightly specials, weekly lunch specials. Saturday night theme night is great with shirtless sweaty studs in leather as well as their holiday buffets and cookouts. A decent beer selection and great COCKtails. You guys need to check this place out.

Came here with a gay friend of mine, wasnt sure what to expect as Im straight. Well as the rating indicates its become a go to spot for a drink. Bartenders are friendly, owner is a great guy and respect is given. A few times someone has made a pass but once Ive said Im not gay it immediately stopped. Some of the regulars are great people. If youre comfortable with yourself and respectful theres no reason not to visit.

It’s a staple in Milwaukee, and it doesn’t get super busy anymore, but the bartenders are pretty friendly, and if you get past the idea that it is just a quiet corner bar, you can have a really good time. This is a great place to relax after a brunch or something like that, in order to have full control of the jukebox, play a game of darts, and even banter with the bartender. Keep in mind that it is usually only a cash bar, but they do have an ATM you can use.

I visited Harbor Room about 4 years ago. Im from Milwaukee but have lived in St. Louis for a very long time. I was in town over Christmas visiting family. I walked in and could tell by the looks of people at me, I wasnt welcome. The bartender then charged me $4.50 for a PBR! I GOT THE HINT, finished quickly and never returned. I went to Woodys after that. Im a good tipper and spend about 50 to 80 every time, so its Harbor Rooms loss. My money spends elewhere.

Friday Night Karaoke with Glenn and Jorge bartending is always a great time! You get to sing 2 songs each time you sign up! Great drinks and the bartenders are are always ready to serve, Hospitable and entertaining!

Great 2-4-1 happy hour. I did hit an unlucky minute when some patron play listed a country western song--something like if yer phones not ringin, youll know its me not callin

Boring after midnight on Saturdays, busy on weekdays and early evenings. Its either a love it when its busy or a snoozefest when its slow. Street parking only but better than the other bars north and west of it due to bat congestion.

The place has changed tremendously the bathrooms were so very very clean the entire bar spa r kled from top to bottom great job with the christmas decorations it actually was a pleasure being there Merry Chris t mas owners and staff

Older clientele. Just my style. Im OLD! LOL Nice small buffet. Usually on Sunday as I recall. Havent been there on Sunday in a while.

Very unprofessional I just called in, I wanted to ask a couple questions nothing to harmful, The bartender rudely interrupted me and said that were very busy and hung up the phone on me very unprofessional and don’t know what kind of bar they’re running here I wish I can give this zero stars

Stumbled into this place not expecting it to be a gay bar. A lot of people probably have as well. Its fairly dark and doesnt indicate what it really is.
