Great Salsa Sundays starting with a Bachata class that starts at 6:15pm, the salsa class at 7:30pm and the social dancing from 8:30 until 11:00pm - all for a flat $15 for the night! . An excellent all-ages non-alcoholic option to dance and practice in a friendly atmosphere.

Its been a long time since my last time in Allegro Ballroom, I used to go there every Sunday night about 20 years ago, lol, and I had a blast every single time, there were always a lot of good dancers attending and I used to dance the night. Tonight was my first time in its new location, and even its a bit smaller than the older place, it is still a good place to go for dancing Salsa and Bachata in a Sunday night, with a little more people would be great, Im going to keep going every Sunday, hopefully it gets better eith the time. I highly recommend this place.

The dancing rooms at this place are good and has free parking rigth there next to Grocery outlet but people dont come. Teachers are good and i enjoyed dancing there.

This place is huge, and almost always open. There are smaller studios in the back. Excellent parking. Every type of dance you could ever want to learn is offered here. And whoever is at the entrance is always seem welcoming, no matter if youre a beginner.

Always an inviting and invigorating experience! Hosts are friendly..and instructors are knowledgeable ,patient, and helpful! Everyone is asked to remain masked and proof if vaccine is shown at the door...If you cant find the door... USE THE GROCERY OUTLETs parking lot...and find the door just to the left of the stores entrance! 🍉🎵🎶💃🏾💜🍉

I attended the Milonga de Nora on the second Saturday of the month at the new site of Allegro in Richmond.This is definitely not a place to go if you are a follower and dont have a parthner. Most of the dancers are already paired or they know each other and dance only among themselves. I am not a very advanced dancer, but definitely not a beginner and I was in a complete isolation for hours. They would pass by completely ignoring you and you can sit and sit until death without getting a dance.It was a very boring and sad experience. This is the closest I ever came to experience invisability. Toward the end somebody noticed I was agonizing and said: Oh, I am so sorry, but maybe next time. But there would be no next time for me. And I would strongly advise you as well to stay away from this snobbish dance event unless you are snobbish yourself.

Normally they stay open for Tango dancing until 12 am so 120 dancers were told not to dance and go home at 10:30 at Thursday night Milonga. I liked the dj Judy but why they close early makes no sense.

Possibly the best place for dancing in the bay area, as they have at least four dance floors, so on any weekend night you can do Ballroom, Latin, Argentine, and Kizomba. Parking is challenging if you come late.

Ive danced here and taken classes here for years. A great friendly atmosphere. Good music, and drug and alcohol free. A nice mature crowd and great diversity.

First time trying ballroom dancing, people were friendly and willing to dance. Instructor explained steps well and gave us plenty of practice...

I enjoyed seeing people coming out to dance . We had our Chicago Steppin Event and they also had the salsa classes too. Proof of vaccination was required for everyone.

Co-op dance studios are the best. The volunteer directors have done such a great job keeping allegro inexpensive and financially strong. We all benefit!

What a magical place! The instructors are fabulous, and the weekend parties are a ton of fun. If you are looking to try something new, either as a single or couple, this is a great spot to try.

Allegro is a hall located in the city of Richmond, it is close to me and I will soon be reappearing to enjoy the atmosphere of dance classes, but also dance music at the end of classes, I love dancing and I hope you enjoy it as you did before.
